Yeah, I love them when they have the job. There
is because you actually go meet the people right face
to face. I think that's the best way. And if
it's not fun, you don't want to work for them.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
What's the point. Yeah, you get me a pre interview
out of the way.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Kind of Yeah. So, Lizbeth, what did you find?

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:26):
Goodness, so many things going on, whether you are into
culture or you are into the natural environment or both
like me. It's NonStop from here through February. And just
a reminder, I know that you had them on already,
but the Sun and Stars International Film Festival is going

(01:50):
on right now and it has an outstanding international lineup
of films world premieres, and they have guest directors and
stars of the show who will be coming to these screenings.
Of entire showcase can be found at Cravis dot org.
You can just buy your ticket straight from there and

(02:11):
get the entire film series. And speaking of Cravis, there
is one phenomenal show after another going on there. I
know that we are right about to open Funny Girl.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Oh yeah, that's coming. This would be a good show.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
Yeah, Cravis on Broadway series Funny Girl, And of course
we will have in February Peter Pan the Broadway Musical.
But aside from Broadway, a lot of people don't realize
there are outstanding shows there, even shows for family and
one of the coolest family fairs is coming up on

(02:46):
February first. Moonmouse, a space Odyssey and this is by
You might have seen them on America's Got Talent. They
glow in the dark, so the performers you turn off
the lights and they have these lit wires that are
the shapes the outlines, and it's this wonderful adventures about

(03:10):
a mouse going to the moon. And it is completely
sensory friendly and it's you go into the room and
you can see the moon the mouse. You really need
to need to go to Cravis dot org to catch
a little bit of the video of Moon Mouse.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
It's great. I saw that last time. It was in town.
It's it's it was. It was at the Cravis at
the Rinker and not the Rinker at the Person Hall.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
Different show, but absolutely same company. And we also for
those of you who are fashion lovers, if you like
watching Project Runway, you might see Isaac ms Rahi there.
But what a lot of people don't realize is he's
a singer and he's coming to the Cravis Center on

(03:56):
February twenty eighth. You can get your tickets now for that. Sorry,
February twenty fourth and twenty fifth. That's Isaac mss Rahi
singing February twenty eighth.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Of course, it is Black.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
History Month next month, and it is the annual Gospel Gala,
and Gospel Gala has been going on for decades. It
is a community tradition and there is a major star performing.
She has won a Grammy.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Her name is.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
Kira Sheard Kelly, and yes, she will be coming to
the Cravis on February twenty eighth. Again, entire lineup going on,
as well as all the fifty four below the Rinker
and just a host of other things at Cravis dot Org. Oh,
the Norton Museum of Our of course coming up. It

(04:46):
is Lunar New Year, which a lot of us know
as Chinese New Year, A number of us do celebrate
it in our homes, and yet again, the Norton Museum
of our is one of the top places to go
for Lunar New Year's. They have the Dragon Parade, they
have traditional celebration hands on activities, and this year it

(05:10):
is going to be celebrating the Year of the Snake.
And they say, join us as we slither into the
activities during Art after Dark, which of course is their
Friday night event night with live music, food, drink available
for purchase, gallery tours, and.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
This will be a lot of really super cool hands
on activities February seventh. And I'm excited because the Year
of the Snake, that's my year. Whenever it rolls around like.

Speaker 5 (05:39):
Yes, oh, I love that, folks and wisdom, I'm a rat,
so I start the whole cycle and it's there known
for being very intelligent.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
They are, Yes, I'm a sheep.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
It's also the wife, yes, dear.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Absolutely, I've been I've been taught.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Well, well, one of my good friends, they've been married
for a long time and we had gone to like
an engagement party and her husband was talking to the
guy and he's like, all you need to know is Yesteryear,
you're right here. Whatever you liked here and made me
think of kind of like the princess bride as you
wish as you.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
But the trick is, though, yes you're right, dear, yes,
dear as that's that's great, But you actually have to
listen to the responses because if it's just Yesteryear's out
of it, then it's never gonna it's never a good thing.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
It's gonna see I could see terrible outcomes.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Actually have to make an advision.

Speaker 5 (06:36):
But for more excellent outcomes, you could also treat yourself
to some outdoor adventures and of course our own jewel
right here in Palm Beach County is Mount Botanical Garden
and they just have a host of events coming up,
including Orchids Are for Everyone potting workshop and for someone

(06:56):
who is an orchid aficionado. You know that it is
almost blooming time, so this is the perfect time to
head on over to Mount Spotanical Garden and sign up
for this workshop. And it is so easy. We are
so blessed in South Florida. Orchidsquare wild here other places.
You know, you don't need expensive equipment or anything, but

(07:19):
it's really nice to take a quick workshop to know
how not.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
To kill your orchid. Yeah, I've killed all of them.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
So you think so?

Speaker 2 (07:28):
You think so if they are sit to date toast,
they're all toasted.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
No, they're like plazarus plants. But you know what, I'll
tell you what. Head on out to this workshop and
you will see how easy it is not only to
care for them, but to keep them alive for years
to come. And if you need a bit of a
breather after all the fun and excitement in the past month.
They also still have their weekly tai Chi at Mounts

(07:54):
that's February first, eight, fifth, twenty second, the Cacao ceremony.
They have four bathing These are just wonderful ways to
get in touch with our own public garden and of
course dog days in the garden.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
They will have back and.

Speaker 5 (08:11):
Get fit classes and you could do all of this
in the beautiful surroundings and rib it the exhibit.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
It's happening now, yep. So all you do to go
Mounts dot Org is all listed there right, curve racked,
lots of other things going on. Oh yeah, so this
is a cool one. I always recommend people to do this,
and I always tell people like find a charity that
speaks to you and then get involved with that charity.
So this one I think is really cool. It suits
for seniors, so it helps the kids make sure the
guys have the right suit or the girl has the

(08:40):
right suit from when they go for their job interviews
and when they walk across the stage to get their diploma.
And there's some you know, requirements for the group. But
they're doing their six annual golf and give big charity fundraiser.
So it's happening Wednesday, February twelve from six to nine
pm at drive Shack, So come on out, sign up,
have fun shooting all the golf balls, knowing you're raising

(09:03):
money for very very good cause. And if you need
more information, you can reach out to Alison at five
six one six zero two eighty five fifty eight and
she's more than happy to give you more details on
that one. Oh I drive check is always a fun time.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
That is a fun time. I took my friend for
lunch there a while back and we spent too much time.
It's it's it's just it's it's fun. It's like a
batting cage but classier.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
I don't know, well, Darryl, you have, of course an
event very special to me to talk about.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Yes, near and dear to your heart for sure. Have
you heard of the swede Fest?

Speaker 2 (09:39):
I have. I have been to the Sweedefest, showing I have.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Been to the Swedefest. If you haven't heard of the Sweetfest,
it's from a movie from I want to say, Be
Kind two thousand and eight, Be Kind, rewind with our
favorite Jack Black, with our favorite Jack Black.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
My favorite Jack Black Jack.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
If you're listening, really where they redo popular movies in
a kind of indie format, India is in heavy air quotes,
low budget, no budget, just renumber. They're actually calling for submissions.
We're looking for the best of the worst.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Three minute remakes, three.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
Minute remakes, three minutes or less, four minutes or less.
I have here just in case you got that extra minute.
That's going to be on March twenty eighth, But you
want to get your submissions in soon. They're accepting submissions now.
You want to go to swede Fest PB at gmail
dot com.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Yeah, and if we're putting you what title you want
to work on one movie and Elizabeth like that, they'll
make sure that there's no duplication right, absolutely, because it
gets jaws. You don't get jobs, right nah Bibbs.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
Yeah, a twelve year old using their iPhone making Titanic
is going to be hilarious. It's going to be awful
and it's going to be so bad it's funny. But
we don't want to see more than one of those.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Sorry, it's a different and.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Just to be safe, we want to make sure they're PG.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
Thirteen absolutely very much so family friendly. Yes, all the
way going on in the cultural sector at the Flagler Museum.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
So much stuff happening there this year.

Speaker 5 (11:14):
Always and yet yeah, this year has been packed. Of
course the Flagler Museum. Everything you want to know about
how Palm Beach became known or recognized as Palm Beach
is all housed in America's own castle, White Hall, right
on the island of Palm Beach. The Flagler Museum has,

(11:35):
of course their Gilded Age style t at the Railcar,
which so much fun. It's so much You and I
dev have been talking about going and we will. But
right now their exhibition is the Ethereal Worlds of Maxfield Parish,
who of course was a Gilded Age illustrator and this
is just a beautiful exhibition in their exhibition hall, and

(11:58):
then they have a whole series of course people might
not realize it of lectures and talks that you can
sign up for. It is additional, so just sort of
check that out. And the next one coming up is
February second, and it's all about William Randolph Hurst and
of course he built the foundation of one of the

(12:19):
nation's greatest media empires and he competed with Joseph Pulitzer
from whence we get the Pulitzer Prize. And the lecturer
for this topic is the current executive director, mister John
Blades himself. And that again is February second, but you
can just head over to Flagler Museum dot US.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
We have the twenty eighth annual a for a Florida
PBC West Festival and it's it's really cool. So it's
one hundred and fifty kids from western Palm Beach County
take part in this festival. It's called Art on the
Go and it's gonna be February thirteenth at Dolly Hand
Cultural Arts Center at pomp Beach State College. So a
lot of fun things happening there, great experience for the kids.

(13:06):
For more information. Simply give Cyndia call five six '
one nine six six seven zero two five and she'll
give you all the details on how you sign up
for this. And Elizabeth, I know we have actually talked
about this one as well. We've talked about the tea,
but you've already done part of this class. I need
to catch up. They have indoor archery for beginners at
indoor indoor ones at Westgate Park and Recreation Center, and

(13:31):
that's going to be Saturday, February eighth, fifteenth, and twenty
second from ten to eleven thirty am. So it's at
Westgate Park and Recreation Center. It's ten dollars a person.
You do need to sign up and sign up quickly
because these, as you know, fill up unbelievably.

Speaker 5 (13:46):
If that's why I'm happy to hear there are so
many dates. It is you have an expert there helping you,
and by the end of it, you are heading that
target and you just, I don't know, it's very it's
a fun thing you feel like afterwards. Robin hood Caton
is yes, yes, So the fees ten dollars a person.
Give them a call five six ' one six nine

(14:08):
four fifty four fifty five, and I know this stuff happening.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Isn't this stuff happening in Carly Absolutely?

Speaker 1 (14:15):
So.

Speaker 5 (14:16):
Continuing with Palmyach County Parks and Recreation, we have some
amazing things. First though, I just want to say that
Palmache County Natural Areas, this is their time. They this
is the weather we want to have. It's a great
time to appreciate just how much of a treasure we

(14:37):
have in our natural areas. And Palmache County Parks and
Recreation are just probably the best in the country at
how they maintain ours. And if you really don't know
very much about our different parks and areas. There is
an amazing event happening on So January twenty ninth is

(14:59):
the Astronomy one. I yes, so that one's gonna be cool.
It's the evening and the Natural Area and they have
the big festival, the Natural Area Festival, coming up in February, right, correct,
They have the Natural Areas Festival on February the fifteenth,
and it is at Winding Waters Natural Area. Oh cool.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Yeah. I talked to Benji about that. He came in,
we had a chat and it sounds so cool. And
if you're interested in doing the five K trail run.
You do need to sign up ahead of time for
that at pbcarm dot com, but everything else is free. Yeah,
I know we're not gonna do that. We're check out
maybe the nice slow trail walk later on and some
of the food vendors and.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
Point five k is what I'm going for.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
I'll do eight from the car in the parking lot
five K Mosey, but Smokey the Bear is going to
be there. Smokey Bear is going to be there. They're
going to have wildlife presentations, food trucks, kid zones, kayak
tours if you prefer your exercise on the water, native plants,

(16:05):
id vendors, and of course a sunset celebration to cap
it off.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
It just sounds phenomenal. And one of the really cool
things he was talking about is all these presentations. These
are like the people who do this for a living.
They are donating their time because they're so excited about
sharing their knowledge. So they're going to come and do
all these presentations for free to help everybody find out
more information about what's happening in our natural area.

Speaker 5 (16:29):
Well, just bless them, and it's their enthusiasm is contagious okay.
And you know, if you just don't ever want to
get outside because it's too hot, no excuse, weather's perfect.
They're throwund a whole festival to bring you out. And
speaking of parks and rack, the pom Beach Shakespeare Festival's
longtime partner, Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation is doing

(16:53):
something really cool in the Carlin Park Seabreeze Amphitheater.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Oh.

Speaker 5 (17:01):
I know, we'll talk about why that space is important.
But they're doing Carlon Park after Dark and it's a
series of concerts that they hold completely free of charge.
You bring your beach share, you bring your blanket, you
kick back, and you hear live music. Buy the Ocean.
There are food trucks there or you can bring your

(17:22):
picnic basket. It's just a chill night and it's completely
free for the residents and visitors. This is in Carlon Park.
Jupiter and the music, by the way, are all tribute bands,
so you can find out if it's your cup of tea.
But that one coming up February eighth is Solid Brass

(17:43):
and it is a tribute to Chicago.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
They do a fantastic show, folks. I've seen them perform
multiple times. Always a good show. Always definitely want to
go out and check that one out. Speaking of Carlan Park,
and we'll get to what you guys do Palm Beach
Shakespeare Festival. Yes, traditionally you guys been doing your summer
Shakespeare Festival at Carlon Park first two weeks and then

(18:07):
going to Commons Park in rural Palm Beach to spread
the love across the county. And of course I think
twenty twenty five is a good year of everybody because
we're going to mix some things up, So you guys
are splitting the shows this year. What's happening coming up soon?

Speaker 5 (18:21):
Yes? Everyone get ready. It's what people have been asking
about for almost thirty years. Why don't you do Shakespeare
festivals outdoor in the park, not in summer? And of
course we have a number of reasons why the pom
Beat Shakespeare Festival produces during the summer, and we are

(18:44):
still bringing our Shakespeare by the Sea to Carlon Park
this summer with a production of the Winter's Tale. But
we're actually here to talk today about the first time
in the pom Beat Shakespeare Festival's history of producing a
wintertime Shakespeare Festival. It opens January thirtieth, It runs through

(19:08):
February second, and this is our fifth annual Shakespeare by
the Palms. This is in Beautiful Commons Park, Amphitheater in
Royal Palm Beach, So you can pack your picnics, your coolers,
your blankets, and you might want a blanket because for

(19:29):
the first time, not the first time we have ever
done a show in winter, but the first time we've
done a Shakespeare festival in winter, and last time we
did any show in winter it was abnormally cold. I
think it's going to be gorgeous, that it's going to
be beautiful, and you can kick back and enjoy the

(19:51):
play as you like it. This is from eight pm
to nine forty five, so it's even got a little
bit of an earlier ending each night.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
I know I can enjoy it as I like it.
But what play are they doing?

Speaker 5 (20:07):
I am absolutely thrilled to have Daryl here with me.
Daryl is one of our veteran performers. I'm sure many
people out there who have come to pass Shakespeare festivals
probably have already recognized his voice. He has performed some
of our great great roles, clearly the most quotable roles

(20:31):
in all of our Shakespeare shows. When you played Polonius
in Hamlet, and of course he was our Petruchio in
the Taming of the Shrew. And this year we are
thrilled to have him back to join us.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
For as you like it.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
This is a fun cast this year, it's gonna be
a lot of fun.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Well, and this is a fun play.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
Oh absolutely.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
I'm a big fan of the Shakespeare comedies and this
is one of the funniest.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
This is one of his best comedies.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
It's what roles are you performing for us to enjoy?

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Well, we're doing the whole play with six actors, so
fair amount of doubling everyone. Almost everyone is playing at
least one part. I'm playing four, I'm playing Touchstone. I'm
playing Duke Senior, who's the old Duke who has been
banished to the Forest of Arden. I'm playing Adam, who
is Orlando's the leads brothers, servant and old man. And

(21:27):
then Charles the wrestler, who's probably the part that I
play for the shortest amount of time, but I'm having
the most fun with because we get to do a
wrestling match and that's a lot of fun.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
Well, So like when the listeners come out, is there
a cost for them to come watch the show?

Speaker 3 (21:41):
It's absolutely free. Bring a lawn chair, bring your beach chair,
bring your blankets, like Elizabeth saying, bring a picnic basket,
bring drinks. But I believe they are going to have
on site concessions.

Speaker 5 (21:50):
This is absolutely the Village of Royal Palm, who is
the one who's bringing this to the public. They are
the complete co presenter along with us. They bring out
some really great fun just think food you might find
at the South Florida Fair, which, by the ways, going

(22:11):
on right now, going on right now, Run don't walk, yes,
and they they just have a lot of fun food there.
But you can be yob as well, absolutely everything. Bring
your own beverages, you can bring your own food, bring
your whole family, all your friends, bring pillows. The grass
is not typical South Florida grass.

Speaker 3 (22:33):
It's very it's actually softest, not crabgrass.

Speaker 5 (22:36):
It's it isn't buggy, it's you could just lie straight
on the.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
Grass, especially in January in summer. Any of the parks
in a generary with around Florida. We have swamp land everywhere,
so you're gonna get you're gonna get something with the
humidity in the summer. But in January it's so gorgeous
out there, and it's well, it's gorgeous down here all year,
but it's especially nice in the chill in January. It's

(23:03):
going to be dark by eight pm, so you'll actually
get to watch a play at night outside completely character.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
I like, so, what dates is it running.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
It's running January thirtieth through February second, and that is
Thursday through Sunday. We have for thirty five years had
a suggested donation of five dollars per person. While everything
else in the economy is going up, we are still
only asking five dollars per person as a donation. If

(23:33):
you have it wonderful. If you don't, this is our
gift to you. We understand. We want everyone to see
fully professional productions of Shakespeare's work brought to life the
way they were meant to be seen, not read in
a classroom in a book, but actually performed, and we
are very blessed to have such strong professional actors performing them,

(23:57):
like Daryl and Daryl in your own words, since you
been there rehearsing every night, what is this play about?

Speaker 3 (24:04):
That's a fun one? This play is about a young
lady who has banished to the forest and meets a
young man, falls in love, and tricks him by. Well,
let's see, she's a young woman who's pretending to be
a man, pretending to be a woman. She's very fluid. Yeah,

(24:27):
she dresses up to disguise herself on the road, runs
into the young gentleman and he doesn't recognize her. Her
and her cousin recognize him, and they proceed to teach
him how to woo her as if she were not there.
There's a wrestling match, there's songs. It's gonna be a
lot of fun. I would say spoiler alert, But the

(24:48):
play is four hundred years old, so what do you want.

Speaker 5 (24:53):
Well, the beauty of it is as well the timing
because it runs through the beginning of February and of
course Valentine's Day, and the play.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Has love letters.

Speaker 3 (25:05):
Oh, it's so sweet.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
As a huge part of it. So it's while there
are because this is Shakespeare.

Speaker 5 (25:11):
While there are some darker elements with the daughter being
banished and.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
Other other aspects of it, at its heart, it's sweet, absolutely, it's.

Speaker 5 (25:23):
Lovely, and it is so funny. I think we've talked
about this.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
This is probably one of the funnier ones we've done.

Speaker 5 (25:31):
Absolutely, And you know, you think Taming of the Shrew
is funny, but Taming of the Shrew is funny with
like teeth like it's kind of nasty where in parts honestly, can.

Speaker 3 (25:43):
It can bite a little bit? It can bite.

Speaker 5 (25:45):
But this one has one of my favorite sick burns
that Shakespeare has ever done.

Speaker 3 (25:51):
Oh, I pray we may be get strange. Yes, yes, yes,
that's one of them.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
That's see what I mean say that.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
Again, I pray we may be better strangers. I think
is the is the quote.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
Which is hilarious.

Speaker 5 (26:05):
That's you know, that's a polite way of telling someone
to you know, get lost.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
Well, this one has all the this is this is,
like you were saying, one of the most quotable Shakespeare plays.
This is the whole speech about the seven Ages of Man.
It's got all the world's of stage is in it.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
Well, and so has that quote obviously, which people know
we've talked about Shakespeare in the past. There's all kinds
of Shakespeare quotes we just use everyday life. Really we
don't even attribute them to Shakespeare. But he's just part
of the English language.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
And thereby hangs a tale. Yes, another one.

Speaker 5 (26:35):
That is one of those kind of I don't know
how common common, but I've.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
Actually used that.

Speaker 5 (26:43):
I used to hear thereby hangs a tale. But authors
modern authors use that line, and I've seen it written
in you know, contemporary books.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (26:53):
One of my favorites though, is you know how you
can have the Shakespearean insult calendars, by the way, highly
recommended for gift giving. But there is one one entire
conversation that happens with the lead female in the play,
and she is chiding another woman for just spurning this

(27:20):
young man who's trying.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
To woo her.

Speaker 5 (27:22):
She's spurning a young man in just a hateful way,
and he's just mad for her, and she's shooting him
down just in a really unkind way. And the lead
female in the play goes up to her and explains
to her how amazed she is that the woman is

(27:42):
shooting him down, and uses the most hilarious descriptions of
how to basically tell her, you are incredibly plain you
realize this, and then explains how difficult it is to
have an honest, true kind man to care for you

(28:02):
and She uses the lines because if I can tell
you kindly in your ear, sell while you can, you
are not for all markets.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
And that was kind of kind of one of my favorite.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
No, that's one of my favorites. There's another one. I
almost forgot about this one. Roslin keeps interrupting her cousin
and she says, you don't let me do this. Do
you not know I am a woman When I think
I must speak, I love that.

Speaker 5 (28:31):
I love that. I will I want that on a
shirt that describes me perfectly, she.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
Says, describes.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
We can make that happen, sir, do you not know
I am a woman I think I must speak. I
love it.

Speaker 5 (28:48):
So it is just so much fun, and this is
kind of something we are trying out, and we are
so blessed that the village of World Palm gave us
the space to do this, the place. They told us
just to pick a date. They worked with us on that.
So between that and some really special donors who gave

(29:10):
us the funds. Because these productions, they are professional productions,
are not cheap to produce, and we don't ask for
a ticket or a fee. We rely on donations and
a foundation and a number of people last summer stepped
up after the state grant canceled all funding for the

(29:32):
arts last year. Knock on wood, that doesn't happen to
all of the arts organizations throughout the state of Florida.
Again this year and we had some people step up,
so we were able to produce a completely different and
original production. And if this works and if we see

(29:52):
the support from the community, we will continue this moving
into the future.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
This one, we were talking about bringing Shakespeare from the
classroom out back into the classroom with the because we'll
be touring to a number of middle schools and high
schools in the area doing outreach, doing a shorter version
of the play about an hour long. That's fantastic, Oh yeah,
just perfect time to fit into a class period and

(30:18):
doing there and doing that for a couple of weeks
after we close at Commons Park. So that should be.

Speaker 5 (30:23):
Nice, yes, because we have been thrilled to have all
the students who come out and see our big shows
in the summertime, but there's always a bit of a
disconnect with the summer production not being able to get
directly to the classrooms while they're studying it. So those

(30:43):
students who may be Shakespeare evers and there are a
bunch of adults that because of the way that it
was sort of thrust upon them, there's.

Speaker 4 (30:53):
Enough Shakespearean every day worse because of the way it
was thrust upon them in school, think that they don't
understand Shakespeare and think say hey Shakespeare.

Speaker 5 (31:05):
So this was another goal for us, and doing it
in January. We once this show closes on February second.
We have a portable prisccenium set.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
The set is designed to be able to travel and
it's gorgeous and it all fits together. It's just it's
gonna be a lot of fun.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
Oh, this is great.

Speaker 5 (31:23):
We will be going and doing outreach and if there
are any teachers out here who are listening or schools
and would like to have us bring our one hour
production in. It can completely transform the way people think
of Shakespeare by seeing it the way Shakespeare wrote it
to be experienced, not in a book, but on stage

(31:43):
and with music. We have original scoring bit that has
been done for this play.

Speaker 2 (31:50):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (31:51):
Ben who was going to be in the show but
could not, wrote original music for us. He is a
recording artist in Nashville, and we are so blessed. We
have original music with this show.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
That's very cool. Well for people to follow you Facebook
