What fun things have you seen happening?

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Well, you know, you say it's beautiful and it's great,

Speaker 2 (00:30):
But it is August, so it's hot.

Speaker 5 (00:33):
Hot.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
We are in the dog days of summer. But the
good news is everyone knows the drill and there are
tons of things to do indoors if you want to
get your art fixed. We have a huge range of
things going on, starting with the Armory Art Center and
West Palm Beach. On August fifteenth, they have their summer

(00:57):
Studio sale and then they have their opening reception September eighteenth.
Between Form and Feeling and color. Form also they are
registering for fall classes September eighth through December sixth, and
these are adult classes where you can learn all manner
of things. Just go to Armoryart dot org. For our

(01:21):
Northern County residents, of course, we have the Lighthouse Arts
Center and you could go to Lighthouse Arts dot org

we could do our hands on pottery. We could give
a go at jewelry making again, you could learn painting

(01:43):
of every style, photography, you name it. Just to go
to Lighthouse Arts dot org.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
And that was such a fun class. It is a
quick Friday night drop in class. What we made the
rings the one time give me a really good appreciation
of like the artistry involved, Like when you go to
a craft festival. Those people take some time to make
these beautiful things. It's not like five minutes in you're
it's more like two hours for one.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Well, and if you're looking for more high impact and
you are a fan of things like pickleball, you know
what Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation has you covered
because West pointon Westgate and West Jupiter Recreation Centers are
all offering indoor pickleball, so you can play that at

(02:29):
any of those locations at the recreation centers there.

Speaker 5 (02:33):

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Offering indoor archery for beginners, which sounds a little dangerous
to me.

Speaker 5 (02:39):
Oh, then I'm in no.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
I know, we still haven't, but I just refound my
arm guard for it and we're gonna do it. Also,

of course they have the open mic nights throughout the

go To artsgarage dot org and it's all this is

(03:52):
right there for. You and if your, students as we're
going back to, school need community service, hours they can
ask them about volunteering there as.

Speaker 5 (03:58):
Well oh that's.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
WONDERFUL i heard you say kittens and something caught my
eye going on at The Stanzech theater and that, is of,
course the smaller theater next to The Lakeworth playhouse On Lake.
Avenue you have only a day left to catch The
Cat Video, fest and of course The Stanzech theater is

(04:20):
where you can get all of your cool indie films
from around the world throughout the. Year but if you
go To lakeworthplayhouse dot org you can get your tickets
for the last day of The Cat Video, fest which
sounds like a lot of.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Fun, oh ifining gonna check that, OUT i, mean of, course.
YEAH i think about the Whole internet was created just for,
cats so it feels like this is, just you, know
a nice little add on to.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
That it really.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
Does and while you're there At Lakeworth playhouse And Stanzech

out if you've not a chance to do that. Yet
it's just a lot of fun and you might actually
win the. Bingo you never.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Know that's not even the whole part of.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
It it's just it's a fun night, out SO i like.
It speaking of fun things that animals not necessarily just,
kittens this one we're moving over to the, dogs so
The American Humane society is taking their nominations are now
open for The Society's Hero Dog, awards so you can
go online and vote for. Them there's like five different
categories including like like like first responder, dogs shelter, dogs

(05:48):
all that good. Stuff simply go To American humane dot
org forward Slash Hero Dog awards and you can vote
right there for your favorite dog and it's just such
a nice thing to.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
Do, well if animals are your, thing don't forget it
is your last days to get free admission for kids
to The Palm beach zou and those are from ages
zero to.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Twelve and when you buy the, tickets buy the tickets,
there buy your adult it's four, KIDS i, believe for
one adult. Ticket buy your ticket there in, person take
that ticket to the, gate and then the four kids
go with your Correct if you buy it, online it
it's a little bit. Wonkier so buy it in person
that day and it is much smooth a. Process that's
a great.

Speaker 5 (06:30):
Note what do we have going? On more? Outdoorsy so,
well HOW.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
I know, outdoorsy there's interesting things going. On but one
of the THINGS i wanted to Mention Pumpage County parks
In wreck earned a national recognition for excellence and public.
Engagement see a bunch of different, programs and one of
them is geared for the folks who are homeless and
like don't have a place to, sleep so people in
the parks to help them get to shelter and like

(06:58):
just help them programs that are available for them in the.
Community because we do have a lot of programs in,
place so they have been you, know honored for their
their their skill at helping those folks. Out so none
of the to do have a great place to go and
do concerts and you, know be outdoors and enjoy the.
Environment they actually help look out for the folks that
are actually coming there as.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
Well they.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
DO i saw evidence of that in fact this summer
with The Palm Beach Shakespeare, festival and of course we
do partner With Palm Beach County parks and rec and
just their compassion and their. KINDNESS i am so happy
to hear about that. Award it is more than well.
Deserved and speaking of, parks be sure to check out

(07:38):
The Mortar Kami museum And Japanese gardens obon.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Weekend SO i was gonna say It's obon Or. Oban It's,
Oban Obon. Oban, YES i, knew you knew how to pronounce.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
That they'll know what you mean if you say, it
and just type In Mortar kami dot org for information
about all of their upcoming.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Events oh, okah they always have cool things that pea,
ceremony the, breaking the zen, garden all the cool.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
Things speaking of, cool you can get all the cool
you need with plenty of air conditioning to boot at
The Norton museum Of. Art just as a reminder through
the Summer Palm Beach county, residents it is free admission On,
saturdays and of course you can always go and for
a very low admission go to art after dark On,

(08:26):
fridays and This friday coming, up we have the Low Ground,
band which is one of the best local bands you
will ever.

Speaker 5 (08:35):
HEAR i don't want to spoil. IT i want you
to just be.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
Surprised you get hands on, activities you can tour the,
exhibitions and you can get live music, there inexpensive drinks.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
And enjoy the entire. Museum that's Every friday.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
Night but there's one cool thing that they have right
now with an, exhibition and that Is, picasso calder And.
Dali these are all names that you know in the
art world with some of their surreal, paintings the colder.
Mobiles but what a lot of people don't realize those

(09:15):
artists made jewelry as, well and they have this really
cool exhibition coming up Artists jewelry From cubism to. Pop
The Diane Vennett collection will be on display and it
just opens this weekend and you, can of course go
and enjoy all of, that and you can see that

(09:36):
exhibition During art After dark or during one of your
free fridays that you're.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
THERE i think it's fascinating if they actually create a
jewelry as. Well this is when it's fun when you
have artist friends like hey, oh.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
And they actually Have art around The World Community Community
day On august, sixteenth where you can celebrate the summer
with a day of creativity to, discover grab your passport
as you enter the programs and just discover everything about
art around the.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
World and of, course another new feature they've out in
this summer is the jazz in the, Restaurant so the
First art After dark every month is, jazz and then
people love it so much they're adding another feature where
you can actually go into the restaurant and it's like
a brunchy jazz thing and different artists will come and play.
There so the next, ONE i believe is coming up
On august, seventeenth so they go To norton Dot orgon

(10:26):
should be listed.

Speaker 4 (10:26):
There that is fantastic and speaking of art and music
and such from around the, world there is a retrospective
exhibition of Surrealist Benjamin kanyas In Delray, beach and that
is at The museum Of Central American art And Delray,
beach which is just a really cool museum that a

(10:48):
lot of, us you, know don't even realize it's right,
there and it specializes In South american artists and the
art is just jaw. Dropping so you can check that
out at The museum Of Central American art And Delray.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Beach and going back to the libraries and inside, Things
Saint Lucie County libraries got all kinds of cool things going,
on and they have a bunch of free educational. Programs
so like if you've got a new, phone updated, phone
they actually have folks there that will help you with
your tech, questions whether it be an, iPhone, android or
if you're like just getting started with a tableat or

(11:26):
a computer and need to learn like how to do,
email there's somebody there to help. You sometimes they do group,
classes but you can also schedule someone on one time
and they're happy to. Help and they're also doing all
kinds of like fun adult. Programs so there's like a
film club that happens on the library On, wednesdays So
august thirteenth and twenty seventh at three pm at The Proud.
Campus there's gonna be some different. Movies and they also

(11:48):
added a lot of things to their. Canopy their digital.
App it's a digital service that offers patrons the ability
to watch movies. Remotely and they also have The Hoopla digital,
app which so does you Know mandel And. Home each
county libraries and each library system offers a slightly different
variety of services on those, Programs so get your library
card and sign. Up it's completely free to use those.

(12:09):
Services oh that is.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
Great and speaking of books and all, things back to
school is right around the. Corner you have some of
your last few days to enjoy time with the, kids
why don't you check out The Cock Science center And
aquarium where currently they Have Mission. Aerospace this is amazing

(12:33):
with flight simulators and lots of hands.

Speaker 5 (12:36):
On things for them to get their brains chugging.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
Already and before you go back to, school you can
visit there and The Waterworks Distillations, exhibit which is you,
know everything here In South florida is defined by our,
water our, climate.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Everything, yeah and that's happening at The Spading museum In. Deltwriure,
correct that's at The Spading museum In, dell.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
Right and then back to school for grown ups, too
those who are able.

Speaker 5 (13:06):
And willing with their time to.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
Volunteer nearly every one of these non profit organizations that
we talk, about of course every week here can use.
Volunteers and The Cravis center for The Performing arts is recruiting.
Volunteers now that's especially for ushers and guest.

Speaker 5 (13:26):
Relations just go to cravistot.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Org AND i know you've been working with The cravis
and you're working with their education. Division so speaking going
back to, school how did schools find out more about the,
education the field, trips all that kind of, stuff because
that's going to be.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
You it is NonStop programming there that will just boggle the.
Mind free programs all, year all through the school. Year
go to cravistot org slash.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
Education oh very. Cool why can't wait to find out
more about? That speak about finding out more. Information want
to welcome our guests for, Today we Have Steve. Mushletz good.
Morning you are from the founder For wheels from The.
Heart good, Morning, yes good, morning thank you so much
for having. It thanks for coming in So steve tell
us little bit about yourself and wheels from the.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Heart, Well wheels from the heart really is my passion in.
Life you have a, calling And i've been revealed to
me that this is my calling to make a difference
and being in the automotive. Industry it's funny How god.
Works he puts an extremely, insecure people pleasing man in

(14:30):
the car business and, says, hey go check that. Out
but it was really because it helped me to understand
the need of what we, do which is we provide
reliable transportation to single mothers and their. Children so that's our.
Mission that's really where my focus, has you, know because
of the car. Business it's allowed me to open a
lot of doors that NORMALLY i wouldn't understand the needs

(14:50):
and be able to provide at a much better value than,
if you, know if you're just off the. Street well that's.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
True AND i think when you grow, up you learn
as you, go oh like like why WOULD, I why
AM i in this? Career and then all of a
sudden something clicks and maybe that's not the, original that's
not the career.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
You're gonna end up.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Being SO i think people end up having like most
people with three to seven different careers in their. Lifetime,
Oh elizabeth is saying she's gonna have Twenty, steve we
need to catch.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
Up, yeah there you, go let's go. Together we'll come.
One SO i think it's good.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
That you have the opportunity to be more confident in
yourself by learning to do sales selling, cars but then
also being open to recognizing the need in the community
and being able to create a charity to meet that.
Need so how do people it's just Pump Beach county right,
now it's a Pompy Treasure.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
Coast or do we have a little bit of. Flexibility
we have a vetting. Process we have a website which
Is wheels from The Heart dot or work and you
can go. Online we get inundated with, applications So i'll be,
HONEST i never know what will be accepted because we're. Overloaded. Sometimes,
actually in THAT i get calls from all over the.

(16:02):
Country now if you google, single moms and cars were
the first one to pop. Up SO i get a
lot of requests and it's it's heartbreaking BECAUSE i have
to focus Where i'm. AT i have a list of
girls waiting that have gone through the. Process understand what
you know it is to get a, car to take
care of a, car the responsibility of a, car but

(16:22):
in turn the beautiful doors it opens and the life
changing then it.

Speaker 5 (16:25):
Is AND i know that.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
You because of your, background you were able to have
an insight into the. Cars but do the cars that
you donate do they come from people who donate? Cars
is that something that wheels from the heart would be
able to.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
Accept, yeah we're an official five oh ONE c, three
so you will receive at tax right off for the car.
Donated the difference with us compared not to you, know
just the difference with us is that car will act
be gifted to a single model and it will not
be sold in. Auction, NOW i will say the caveat is.
This sometimes we'll have a classic car donate it that

(17:08):
an older person or somebody just SAID i got too many,
CARS i just want to give it, away and then
we'll sell that and we'll use those funds to buy several.
Cars Or i've had some other guys that have a business,
car like A x, car and it has one hundred
and twenty thousand miles and they want a new car
and they're getting nothing on the trade, in they just
Say i'd rather see a family get this. Car so
there are a lot of different ways to. Work but
then you get the full write. Off you can be

(17:30):
inevolved as you. Want you can give the keys to the,
mom you. CAN i, mean we have some people that
have donated cars that still stay in contact with some
of these moms and have watched them progress just by
the car that they were.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Gifted so they not only got the, car they created
another friendship and on the support SYSTEM.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
I called you're part of the wheels from the hard.
Family it's going to try to stay in.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
Touch, yeah, well, YEAH i, Mean and of, course if
you donate a, car you're. Invested you're invested in this
person that you're. Helping and that's a good thing because
people need more. People we need to be more invested
in each other and our success helping other people.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
Succeed AND i don't think people realize because the majority
of us have either had a car or the right
to use a car as soon as we were, sixteen
and we don't understand, That, oh how could somebody not
have a? Car, Well i'm telling you it's a, pandemic
and it. Is it is you would be.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Surprised was one of four girls growing, UP i did
not have a. Car we were allowed to borrow my
stepmother's car if she was not using. It we had
to pay for the insurance and we had to pay
for the. Gas like so we paid for everything for
the use of the. Car but it was only if
it was. Available so let me tell you a lot
of TIMES i wanted to could do some. Things you
just like already air. Plants, sorry, Right and even if

(18:42):
you tried to plan, ahead WELL i might need. It
so it was just really. Challenging and, then like years,
ago had a frank come visit just for. Vacation she
lives In, WASHINGTON. Dc public transportation all over the, place
so easy to get, around not worrying about having a.
Car i'm, like do you want to go rent a?
Car do you want to borrow my car for the
day While i'm at? Work oh, no, No i'll take
the bus because there's a bus stop like, literally you,

(19:04):
know forty steps from my. Place she goes to the,
BUS i get out of, WORK i go AND i
get a Call.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
She's, like can you come pick me up at?

Speaker 2 (19:11):
Publics And i'm, like why are you a. Public she's,
Like i've been on the bus for an hour and a.
HALF i decided to get.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
OFF i got five. Miles she, yes it took.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
Her she'd never even made it to the.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
Beach some of our some of our girls who will
tell the story to you, know. Everybody oh the. Bus
they give them a bus. Pass you, know that's. Great
they spend two and a half hours each way to
get to. Work that's five hours a day times five
is twenty five. Hours that's more than half of your work.
Week that is wasted, time not with the, kids not
being better for, yourself, eating doing, exercise even, time LIKE i,

(19:41):
said being with the.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
Kids well, yeah and you're gonna have to pay for that,
daycare Bright. Elizabeth well while you're on the, bus you're
paying for somebody to take care of your, kids while
you're spending five hours on a, bus.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
Right which isn't a pleasant. Experience sorry for the bus,
system but it's not that.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
PLEASANT i, mean we have, one but it definitely needs
room for improvement, always, Right SO i.

Speaker 5 (20:01):
Know i'm very.

Speaker 4 (20:03):
Excited you have an event coming up THAT i have
been blessed to have been a part of since the
very first one and have seen it.

Speaker 5 (20:12):
Grow do you want to talk a little bit about that?

Speaker 3 (20:15):
Event a little or a. Lot let's talk a lot about.
That so this is going to be our Fourth cars
And Conversation unity in The, Community simple As black And white.
Event so basically it's an event to bring the community
together of all different, authenticities, religions, backgrounds understanding. Whatever and

(20:37):
we're going to have a panel and it's going to
be made up Of Attorney Lee, cohen who is a
prominent attorney in Del, Rey Deborah tendrick who's a state,
Representative Chris redding who's A Grammy award winning he does
some music with. Autism he has autistic. Son he's on the,
Board Mark, nudelberg who has been a. COACH i Know

(20:58):
i'm missing somebody and it's going TO i apologe. Us
but we'll have this panel and we have a moderator
and we'll ask some really tough, questions not just simple
layup like how do we end what's going? On like
how can we come together and understand what it's like
to walk in another man's or woman's? Shoes and then
along that is the called. Action so with everything you
should HAVE i feel as a called, Action, well what's

(21:18):
our called. Action wheels from The heart will present a
milestone for WHAT i think is our two hundredth. Car
we will donate to a single mom and her. Kids
and along with that we have three to four one
two videos and three moms in attendance that we'll talk
a little bit about the path of when they got a.
Car we have one girl that got a car when she's,
eighteen probably in twenty, fifteen. Sixteen she's now, married has two,

(21:42):
children full time, job just she just needed a little.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Help she's thriving, well and that's part of. It like
WHEN i went to, COLLEGE i did my internship In,
PITTSBURGH i did have a. Car the family THAT i
was renting their attic from that was the ROOM i was,
renting like all slope, room the whole. Thing they were just,
like if you need a, ride let us. Know but
here's the here's a bus pass and the bus will

(22:06):
take you, anywhere but you have to like time it out.
Right but you, know if you missed the, bus then
you're waiting like an hour for another bus kind of.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
Thing.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Whatever but living life without a, car it's very.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
Challenging it's it's freedom a car is instant. Freedom women
gets the keys to a, car it's instant. Freedom and
to your, point remember this. One not everybody is a
bus stop for their. House so some of these women
have to walk two miles and then they'll tell, you,
OH i have to go to public three times a.
Week and my silliness in the beginning, was, oh you
don't have the. Money, NO i can't carry the groceries

(22:41):
and my three. Kids so they got to take three four.
Trips so things we just you, know and so and
then the other part of that is some of these
women have. Jobs to get off at eight at, night
they're walking in the dark by, themselves you, know and
it's just it's it's very it's it's very frustrating that that's.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
Kind of have a security fee as. Well, so, yeah
if you parking your car and can have the car
and going right, in that's one. Thing but having to
walk quite away from a bus stop you get to
a place at, Night, yeah that just can be.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
Scary, WELL i think it's, wonderful especially with unity in the,
community having past recipients be. There it's this grassroots charity
that you've created is really remarkable because oftentimes when we
donate to an organization that is more, specific that isn't

(23:30):
something like a research for. Disease it's something that is
very individual, focused providing something for one recipient or, another
whether it be a scholarship or The keys To. Freedom
you don't usually get to find out about what happened
with that gift that we. Gave where here we actually

(23:50):
will be able to see the people and they'll be on,
hand and you can see the recipients and how their
lives have.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
Developed and that's really. Remarkable, OH i think that's. Fantastic
so this is Happening, Thursday august, fourteenth, correct and it's
going to be six pm At Crazy Aunkle mike's, right.
Yep and that's oh that's in Bok okay for people
who may not, know.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
Right on The Delry boca line On Febru.

Speaker 4 (24:11):
Highway, so AND i know you also have a large
number of names.

Speaker 5 (24:17):
Involved in sports in fact at this.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
Event it's just it's so, amazing AND i stepped. Back
i'm very. Humbled BUT i also realized that As i've
walked through my, Journey i've plant seeds and other people's
lives and not necessarily asking for anything in return or
vice versa or. Whatever and Now i'm able to ask
these people to come and, help and they believe in the.
Cause AND i Have Ricky, Williams Miami Dolphin Heisman trophy winner.

(24:42):
Coming it's his second. Round he went to the one
in twenty twenty during. Pandemic i've Got Butch, davis who
is actually The university Of miami football coach and to
all You hurricane, coach that one title was. His those
are all his. Kids and THEN i Have Thomas, anderson
who Was bowl Winning Dallas. Cowboy i've Got Brenda. Schultz

(25:03):
brenda was a top ten tennis player on the women's
tour for many. Years her and one of The williams
sisters hold the record for the fastest women serve. Ever
so she's, coming and she now was married to my
friend who passed away, sadly and now she's raising two.
Boys and so she's comes from this world and now
she's doing the same, thing raising single the kids by.

(25:25):
Herself she's, struggling not just financially or even. Whatever it's a.
Lot so forget that she's in a place where she
gets a lot of help and has had made. Money
she's still. Struggling and THEN i have a really cool.
GUY i met my wife's. Brasilient shout out To anna
and my. LOVE i got to say hi to. You
you're everything to. Me but this, Guy Pedro moonhaus and

(25:47):
he is A ucf maa fighter and wonderful. Guy and
he you, know we share the same. Faith we talk about.
Life he. Was he jumped all over to get. INVOLVED
i just, said, hey this is WHAT i. Do he
goes like your, energy let's do. This it had nothing to.
Do and then the fact was he Was. Brazilian my Wife's.
Brazilian then we started talking and my wife was actually

(26:08):
in with The gracie brothers in the room when they
designed the logo for THE. Ucf she, SAID i like this.
One and now here we. Go what thirty years later
we got this guy from THE, UCFM a fucker CAR.
Ufc i'm, SORRY i Get, yeah there's THE dyslexi, again.

Speaker 5 (26:29):
You.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
Know so it's just it's it's such a. Blessing these
and they're all coming because they believe and they, understand you. Know,
butch WHEN i started approaching, him he has his. Causes
he THEN i, said, coach what about the? Kids you
recruit because you're, right most of the KIDS i recruit
are single. Moms and and and THEN i talked to
any coach out, there any coach or anybody that volunteers after.

(26:50):
School all the beautiful things we do were thankful for.
YOU i want to shout out to, You BUT i
also enter to raise your hand to tell me how
many of you kids fall through the? Cracks to pick them?
Up you got to take them, home not that you have,
to you want, to but they have no. Way they
can't get. There SO i hear endless TIMES i can't
get my you, know kids can't get the. Practice you
can't get, here and this and. That so you, know

(27:12):
how many people are we missing that could elevate into
greatness because just they can't get to where they have
to get gad to get.

Speaker 5 (27:19):
There, yeah like you, said how Many Lebron james is
are we? Missing?

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Right or to care for cancer? Whatever whatever we're missing?
There maybe someone fell through the crack because we as
a community didn't come around to lift them, up to
give them that just a hand, up not a. Handout you, Know.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
So people go to the website single women that single
moms that need help. Yep once they get there is
there an?

Speaker 3 (27:44):
Application they, yeah they can fill out applications wheels from
The heart dot. Org and AS i, SAID i, APOLOGIZE
i just never we're getting them. Overloaded AND i also
have my phone number on the. Website you're more than
happy to call. Me i'll talk to you or guide
you through ideas IF i can't help, you which it
breaks my. Heart for every CAR i, give there's THIRTY i,
can't BUT i will walk, you maybe do a GoFundMe

(28:05):
Or and you, know that's the one beautiful thing about single.
Moms very. Humble they don't like to, ask they don't,
want you, know they're very timid and try a lot
of times to ask for. Help AND i kind of
try to bring them out of that and, say, hey you,
know in our faith we're supposed to. Ask and if
you don't, ask how do you? Know And i've actually
had people put On facebook In North dakota, wherever HEY

(28:25):
i need a, car and somebody, go, OH i got
this whole car sitting in the, driveway and then you
run it through the organization to get the tax right,
Up we do the paperwork and everybody.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
Wins oh, Yeah so my only thing has always Been
if you don't, ask you don't get right because nobody's
going to know you need it unless you put that
out in the. Universe you need, help how are people
going to?

Speaker 3 (28:45):
Know and we all need. Help it's not a sign of,
anything but we need. Help we're.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
All ACTUALLY i think it's more of a sign of
strength being able to ask for, help, absolutely because having
gone through a lot of, ILLNESSES i never. Asked and
then the most recent ONE i. Asked so many people stepped.
Up they were so correct AND i really appreciated. That
and my one friend was, Like, wow you have a massive,
network and she was in awe of how many people

(29:09):
there were that would.

Speaker 3 (29:10):
Help and that'll ill applaud you because of WHAT i
call that is relationship. Capital you've earned that through the
people that you've touched and loved on and been with
and help along the. Way and that's what we're supposed to, do,
Right and so when we need each, other we can
call on each other because we're not just taking life
from each. Other we're helping each other and not effing
something in.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
Return oh, Yeah so going back to the event On august,
fourteenth how much of the tickets where do people get.

Speaker 3 (29:34):
Tickets so the tickets are on Event bright wheels from
theeheart dot, org simple as black and. White the tickets
are forty five, dollars which is going to include your
food and two. Drinks that's my. Cost SO i have
to kind OF i don't want to take from the.
Girls and then we're gonna have an auction that'll launch
on the Event. Bright we're gonna have an auction about
five days. Before i've got A Mini, moke which IS lsv,

(29:58):
vehicles a thirty thousand dollars new vehicle in is five
miles on. It Pedro munhaus gave. Away he gave me
a seventy Three volkswagen Restored. Beetle we're going to auks and.
Off i've Got Brenda schultz three personal tennis. Lessons i
got a golf pro clinic for. Four i've got Two rolex.
Watches i've got beautiful artwork from a, Friend Sarah konka that.

(30:19):
DONATED i, MEAN i could go on and. ON i
Have Robert, GRAHAM i used to work for. Them they
donated twelve, women's twelve men. Shut whoever wins will get
a shirt every month for the, rest you, know for a.
Year so. Twelve so that's. Cool NOW i got twelve
rounds of. Golf you get a play a round of
golf a, year you, know once a. Month and so
it's just the people and that have come along and

(30:40):
it's just it's just. Epic and IF i could just
share a Quick Ricky williams, story so everybody, goes, well
how do you Know? Ricky and friend real quick said,
hey on our first, EVENT i Know. RICKY i reached
out and long so. Short we went back and. Forth ricky,
said call Me thursday. Night i'm going To. Texas we're
renaming the stadium and it was happening to be an
issue about race and then my. Event SO i called

(31:01):
him at eight. O'clock the first thing out of his
mouth was watch their come to your. EVENT i, Said,
ricky remember when you signed with The, dolphins you real,
quick there was a pair Of Mali, jims WHO i
work for at the, time in your locker. Room he,
goes are in your locker and he, goes, yeah that was.
Weird he, GOES i think about that every once in
a while because no one's ever given me anything and
don't want. Anything now that was in two thousand and like.

(31:21):
Five it's, fifteen eighteen years, later he, SAYS i, Go,
ricky that was. Me he, Goes i'm coming to your.
EVENT i mean that's just you, know like you can't
make that. Up it's just a cool loving on each,
other not always having an, agenda and you just see
the fruit sometimes and sometimes you. Don't, WELL i.

Speaker 4 (31:40):
Think so, many as you, said athletes have personally been you,
know they've been raised by single, moms and they have
a lot of respect and appreciation for the work that
it takes for single mothers to be able to. Do
AND i know, personally there's no WAY i would have

(32:02):
been able to do these years without a reliable. Vehicle
there's just no way THAT i could have accomplished everything
for my kids without.

Speaker 5 (32:13):
It so it's really.

Speaker 3 (32:15):
Incredible and that's WHAT i say to. Everybody just close
your eyes and think about what you do From monday To.
Sunday now take the car out of. It now tell
me what you got.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
Done that's a really good way to look at.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
IT i like.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
That so, again before we go the website for people
to get more information and if businesses are listening and
they want to sponsor a car.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
Yep Like Razor electric gave us a. Razorback electric gave
us a nice third. Title. Sponsor you can donate, money
you can sponsor a. Woman you can do a lot of.
Things you can sponsor, tires you can sponsor. Guests whatever
you can give is a blessing and it all goes
directly to the. Women no, salaries it's all this is

(32:55):
run by volunteers and me and that's. It so weel some.
Heart you can donate your. Car there's a lot of
things you can. Do and, then LIKE i, said the
Partnership and it's cool because it's a great way if you.
Can you don't just say you raise five thousand as a.
Business you can donate a car at your business for
five thousand. Dollars think of the impact that that shows

(33:17):
the whole. Everybody you're giving back for five thousand. Dollars
that's a huge impact and the. Outreach so give, us you,
know present a, girl a woman you might know that
works for. You it needs a. Car you put the funds,
together we'll get the. Car we'll do a whole, thing
show up through the whole kit and. Kaboodle it'll be
a blessing and you get a lot of exposure in.

Speaker 2 (33:35):

cool and thank you so much for doing such a
neat thing in the. Community is definitely very much needed
