out about this woman that lost. She had ten pieces
of silver. So far we've been seeing that each one
of those silver can be a symbol of the ten Commandments. Okay,

the word of God was a candle, all right? Now,

to light the candle, something had to happened. So the
word of God is a candle. But it but in
this case, the word of God is not lit. Why

the church since the Apostolic times to this time? That
that certainly the people don't have the Word of God,

prophets who wrote the Old and the apostles who wrote

for thou wilt light my candle, the Lord, my God

the word of God was a candle, all right? Now,
remember the woman had the light the candle. In order
to light the candle, something had to happened. So the
word of God is a candle. But it but in
this case, the word of God is not lit. Why

isn't the word of God lit? What has happened to
the church since the Apostolic times to this time? That
that certainly the people don't have the Word of God,
or they might have it in the hand, but they
but they can't, they don't understand what they're reading. What
has happened. Let's take a look. First of all, the

Bible says the woman had to light a candle. The
candle's word of God. But now, how is the word
of How is the word of God? How can how
can the Word of God be lit? How do you

because the scriptures themselves are given by what inspiration of God?

And how did the Bible say? Holy men wrote those
prophets who wrote the Old and the apostles who wrote
the New Testament? How did the Bible say? And two?

The prophecy came not in old time by the will
of man, but Holy Men of God spake as they
were moved by the Holy ghosts.

What did Jeremiah say about the Word? He talks about

what was fire in his bone? Won't you tell me

Read that on me, and I will pray the Father,
and he shall give you another comforter, that he may
abide with you forever, even the spirit of truth, whom

be in you. So the Holy Spirit is the one
that stirs up the human heart and makes it like
fire in the bone. The word of God becomes fire

the Bible said the woman the church had to light
a candle, So the candle had to be lit by fire.

And only power that can distir the stir the stirred
of mind. Now, what else is fire? By the way,
because the woman is not lighting the candle by herself
in reality, she's lighting it by divine power. Because there's
a there's a diarf in the land, there's darkness over
the earth. People are being kept in superstition and shrouded

in this darkness, deep darkness, and yet God must do something.
What else is a candle for God to light? Because
only then, now, remember, in order for the woman to
find the peace, her candle must be lit. All right,
So how do you light a candle? You use fire? Right, yes,

I want to know what else is a candle for God?

better picture of this and see the characteristic in history

a wick. Your wick is the will of God. And

promise he will give you? That is symbolizing lighting your
candle or lighting your mind? Listen carefully, listen carefully. The
mind a man is the what candle of the Lord? Searching? What?

That water is dealing with justification, and the spirit is

That word is truth. So the spirit of truth is
the spirit of the Word. What's the spirit of the word,
the Holy Ghost? So wait a minute, what is the

must be lit. She can only have her candle lit
if she draws near God and near the Word of God.
Now do we have anything in the history of the
Church where men who sat in darkness began to suddenly
have bestirred to search to look at the scriptures. There's

a story told about a man who was who was
kissing pilot's staircase one day, and he was kissing the
steps and saying his saying his rosaries and whatever he
was doing. And suddenly, because he had been going to
a little convent and from time to time he was
an Augustinian monk, and from time to time he would
sit there and he could he had asked us at
(12:36):
a convent to a Bible that was chained to a desk,
and he would look at the Bible, and he would
begin to want to understand what God says. In fact,
he began to even translate, because he was well taught
in Latin and Hebrew and Greek, and he began to
translate some of the things that was written and he
began to study the Bible closely, but he was still
kind of unsure because of the traditions and the customs

and the pres in the sayings of the priests and
the prillates and the cardinals and the bishops. And as
a result, one day, while he was walking up Pilot's
staircase up going around doing his pentance, he was kissing
the steps and saying his penance, and maybe he was

mind to such agree. His candle was lit, and suddenly
his mind became the candle of the Lord. And what
did David say in Psalms eighteen Psalm's eighteen look at

this for me, look at Psalm's eighteen twenty eight. Listen
what David said. What happened.

Psalm's eighteen, verse twenty eight. The part of God says,
for thou wilt light my candle, the Lord, my God
would enlighten my darkness.

Thou will light my candle, Lord my God, will light
my what my darkness? So here we find that the
darkness was dispelled, as God lit the candle of Luther.
But before Luther, God lit the candle of John Whitecliffe.
God lit the candle of Johnahanna's huss John lit the
candle of different ones over the years. He lit the

candle of Malathen as well. He began to light the
candle of the Reformers. They begin to translate the Bible.
William Tyndale receive the word of God to the point
he said, I'm gonna cause the boy that pulls the
plow to know more of the holy scriptures than all
you priests and prilics. Do you remember? And then we

find this candle being lit. What's the candle? The Word
of God is now a light unto my feet, and
a lamp un to my feet, and a light unto
my path. The candle is the Word of God. Light
is coming from the word of God. Jesus said, I
am the light of the world, he that follow me
when I welcome darkness, but have the light of life.
And what was the light that first lit Luther's mind?
(15:03):
The just shall live by faith. The message on righteousness
by faith, not righteousness by works, not righteousness by long pilgrimages,
Not righteousness by going to priests, but righteousness going to
God on your knees and confessing and forsaking your sins.
Luther began to understand that the just shall live by faith.
(15:27):
His candle was lit. God began to use Whitecliff, Huss
and Luther to bring about the light, to bring the
people out of the darkness of the Dark Age into
the great light of the Reformation.

it should be increasing.

do we know the light would increase? Because Daniel twelve

The wine is mixed with what water? Wait a minute,

First of all, let's go here, go to Psalm sixty

six ten. Now what is this silver? Let's see something?
We want to see something. We know this silver was

that we find that the teachings of the Word of
God is slowly being put down for the exaltation of
men's sayings and men's and men's customs and policies and practices,

and even pagan practices and spiritualistic practices can be brought in.
As the wine is now being mixed with water, and
the traditions of men are constantly coming in, and customs
and practices. And where are these history historically, where did
these customs and practices start coming in at It was
in the councils of Trent. It was in the councils

of Lay of the Sea that they began to It
was the time of the counter Reformation, and the counter
Reformation was the counteract the Protestant teachings of the Bible,

the word of God, he's going to rest on the
