Speaker 1 (00:00):
Really welcome, my friends. You're listening to the Voice of
the Eternal Gospel, a radio program brought to you by
the Eternal Gospel Minister founded in nineteen eighty two by
seven day a Dentist believers. This is a Christian program
dedicated to bring to you the prophetic fulfillment, warnings and
(00:24):
revelations of the end time and to promote the advancement
of Christ's character in your life. I am Pastor Raphile Peres,
and I invite you to have a word of prayer.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Dear Lord, thank you for your word and for another
opportunity to be here together. You send your word that
we're two or three are gathering Your name. There you
are in the midst of them. So we pray that
you may guide us and be your teacher as we
meditate upon your word in Jesus' name.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
Amen, Amen, Amen. In the last program, we we were
about to bring so quotations or a statement how a power,
a political religious power. According to Daniel Chapter seven and
many other other places in the Bible, it described that
(01:16):
a power was going to come out of the fourth
Big Empire from the time of Daniel. That Daniel was
leaving was Barbylon. He also was shown meets in Persia.
He also was shown the third after Daniel, which was Greece.
Dany was shown the fourth kingdom or empire, the Pigan Empire,
(01:43):
and then out of that empire, Daniel seventh saw another
power that would have come that would be different, very
different from the rest, from the previous one. If I
ask you, Carolina, let me ask you, in which way,
according to your opinion, the power that came out of
Rome was different from the Pagan empire previous to that power.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Well, in the book of Daniel we see that God,
this Christ said as being terrible and speaking, you know,
great things, great things against the most ties. So it
was a terrible power, worse than the others.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Okay, in which way, Barry, good, good, good, But Paster Barry,
how was the nature of this new power that that
we that the Bible called it the little horn power?
And Daniel, when what type of nature he was?
Speaker 3 (02:37):
First of all it had it was more stout than
all the red ones. And also he had the eyes
of the eyes of man. Now there's some things there
that you're looking at. The nature is of a church
and state entity prior to this time, you always had
church and state. And from Babylon you had Nevaknezza, who
(02:57):
was also king of but he was known as Pontifix Maximus.
We also but the name Pontifics Maximus goes all the
way back to the times of Egypt, that pherals were
even known as pontifix maximus, meaning head of religion and
head of state. And it also meant bridge builder, one
who will build a bridge for his religion into the
(03:18):
mystery alcohol teachings and at the same time spread his
teachings around as he dominated society, Okay, to bring people
to be initiated into the mystery occult practices. But now
let's go a bit closer. The Bible says very clearly though,
that this issue of whereas we look at this issue
of the woman, as we look at the issues of
(03:39):
this issue of a power that is going to change
to change God's law, we see one other thing. This power.
In Daniel chapter seven knows very carefully what it's said.
He had the eyes like the eyes of man, right
Daniel seven eight. As you're looking at that, I considered
the horns, and behold there came up among them a
little horn, it said, before whom we're three plucked up
(04:02):
by the roots. Now, historically the little horn rooted three powers,
and we know that those powers are powers in Western Europe,
which was the Hurry Ali Vandel's and the Ostrogoths. If
we go back and look at the history and we
understood this history, it goes on and sayd behold in
this horn, what the eyes like the eyes of man?
And a mouth speaking great things? First of all, the
eyes he had the eyes like the eyes of man.
(04:24):
For a moment, I want to ask you a question,
because these are characteristics of this power that's going to
think to change God's law. So question, what are the
eyes of man talking about? Because as we look at this,
we need to know from the Bible, what is the
eyes of man?
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Collar?
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Can you tell us in Proverbs sixteen to two, what
are the eyes of man?
Speaker 2 (04:44):
All the ways of a man are clean in his
own eyes, But the Lord weighs the spirits.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
So proverb sixty two says the eyes of man is
a man who believes all his ways are clean, all
right in his own eyes. Not these people have a problem.
But as we continue, let's go to Proverbs twenty one two.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Twenty one two. Every way of a man is right
in his own eyes, what the Lord ponder at the heart.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
So again, every way a man is right in his
own eyes, but the Lord pondish the heart. Let's go
to Proverbs twenty seven to twenty.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Hell and destruction are never full, so so the eyes
of man are never satisfied.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
So the Bible says, this power is gonna believe that
every way they have is right and clean in their
own eyes, and that the end would justify the means.
At the same time, the Bible says, you can never
satisfy this power no matter what you do, no matter
how you do it, because hell and structure are never full.
So the eyes of man are I never satisfied. So
(05:42):
this little horn has the eyes of man. He's never satisfied.
So what power is this that speak and Daniel seven
twenty five. Now it talks about the same power. And
he's gonna speak great words against the most high. Look
what it says, be dead for his colar.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
And he shall speak, make great words against the most for.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
You bodyfather, speak great with the most high. It's come
about this little horn power who had.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
The eyes like the eyes of man, the shame power
that was sleping from the fourth Empire on the fourth
from the time of Daniel, which is Rome.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Pagan Rome making a transition to the paperal system.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
And shall wear out the saints of the most High
and think to change times and laws, and they shall
be given into his hand until a time and times
and the dividing of time.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
All right, So now notice, so we notice very carefully
he shall think to change times and laws. Who's gonna
think they change times and laws? Here is this pagan
Rome that's gonna think to change times and laws? Is
this a rom that's blended with Christianity?
Speaker 2 (06:42):
That's it?
Speaker 3 (06:43):
By a great apostasy? What did the Bible say about
an apostasy? In one Timothy? For one, can you read divorce?
Speaker 4 (06:50):
Now?
Speaker 2 (06:50):
The spirits speak expressly that in the latter times some
shall depart from faith, from the faith, giving heat to
seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
Give heed to dice experience, and doctors of what devils?
Doctors of devils?
Speaker 4 (07:03):
What are that?
Speaker 3 (07:03):
First Corinthians ten, nineteen and twenty three.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Thereforce First Corinthians, Chapter ten, verses nineteen and twenty The
Word of God says, what say I? Then that the
idol is anything, or that which is offered in sacrifice
to idols is anything. But I say that the things
which the dentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils and not
to God. And I would not that you should have
fellowship with devils.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
But I want you to notice here that the Bible
says that an idol, in other words, one of the
signs of this next power is coming, that's going to
supersede pagan Rome is going to be They're going to
have a blend of Christianity, and they're going to have
the exhortation of idle worship. And idle worship the Bible says,
is that Paul says, is having fellowship with devils. All right,
(07:49):
But let's go a little bit closer here for a moment,
and we'll see more. We are told we are not
according to the Ten Commandments. We are not to bow
down to graven images, nor bow down to them, nor
what sir them. So but now wait a minute. The
Bible said, this will be an apostasy that will come
in people giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.
(08:09):
Doctrines means teachings that will be coming on paganistic teachings
that will blend with Christianity in the book Great Controversy,
a book that we recommend here. The book says in
chapter three the compromise between Paganism and Christianity resulted in
the development of the man of sin. Now, does Paul
talk about the man of sin?
Speaker 1 (08:30):
By the way, we put great proportion of that chapter
on the twenty eighth pag you send the newspaper too, Okay,
so again you can call. We'll send free of charge falling.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Yes, does Paul talk about the man of saying? Can
you read second Thesalonians two three and four.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Yes, I have it here. Let no man deceive you
by any means, for that day shall not come except
there come of falling away first, and that man of
sin be revealed, the son of perdition.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
Now, what is the characteristic of this son of tradition?
Speaker 2 (09:00):
According to Paul, who opposeth and exultant to himself above
all that is called God or that is worshiped, so
that he as God sitteth in the Temple of God,
showing himself that he is God.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
Now wait a minute, this power will sit in the
temple of God. What is the Temple of God. It's
not talking about your body in this case, what is
the temple of God here referring to It's talking about
the body of Christianity. So in the body of Christianity
there will be a power that will profess to be
in Christ, profess even Christianity. But at the same time
they will be in this place of Christ, meaning not
(09:35):
against Christ. We have two types of Antichrist. You have
one Antichrist that's against Christ, against the teachings, but then
this power would not be that type of Antichrist. This
power be in the place of Christ. All right. So
therefore here we have a power that's gonna profess to
be in Christ and think that they have the prerogatives
of Christ because they gonnay, They're gonna sit and they
(09:57):
gonna they sit in the temple of God showing himself
that he is. Do we have any type of evidence
historically of a power like that, because everyone needs to
understand this, because this is the most fearful time we
live in, and it's a fearful warning given considering that
the times and laws of God's word and his day
of rest has been changed, and people are looking for
(10:18):
a day of rest today and about this accept the
wrong day of rest.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Most interesting thing is they don't hide it. The change
that took place in the law, the same institution that
described by Paul by Daniel by the Book of Revelation,
it tells it. They tell us that they change by
their own authority. I mean, it's not something that we're
(10:43):
making up, because see, I don't want people to think
that we are bringing something that because we got something
against any particular religion or or a particular group of people.
Know it's the opposite, because we love everybody, because we
understand that Jesus is trying to wake up and to
(11:06):
bring you. See. All this is in connection to the
woman that we were talking about in the previous program.
On look, chapter fifteen, verse eight.
Speaker 3 (11:15):
We're talking about we're talking about how she lost a coin,
and we're showing that the coin was lost because there
was a power that came on the scene that thought
the changed times. That's prophetic times dealing with who the power,
who the Antichrist power was, and laws dealing with the
law of God.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
And has been thrown upon that presearch traditions. They put
the wine, they put.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
They put water in the place of the wine.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
Right right. The water we saw was the symbol of
nations multi to the people. So they allow the influence,
the influence of the society and society and the talking
about a little closer. During the time of the Roman Empire,
since this system was developed or came out of that empire,
(12:07):
there was so many pagan custom traditions, and one of
them was the worshiping of the Sun, the Sun God.
And so can we read a couple of just for
the sake you know, I know our regular listeners as
well as the TV listeners that follow us through Christian
(12:31):
Television Network, they can every week, okay, or going through
the YouTube voice of the Tana Gospel that they can hear.
They can watch presentations for this. But let's let's bring
over here a couple of statements. Both of you got
over there to prove that we end up making this up.
(12:54):
How listen to this? Their own Catholic Church admitted that
they were the one that make the change for the Saturday.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
Just before you have it. But if just before you
do that, let's confirm one thing the Bible said, this
power will sitting in the temple God claim himself he
is God. Because in order to change something of God,
a divine you must also somehow assert to divine authority.
Let's prove that point, and then we go and there
we can see why they believe they can change.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
Okay, let's go there.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Let's look a look at look at here on page
from fourteen Paula. Can you read it says claims to
be God.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Yes, we are quoting this from the cyclical letter of
Pope Leo thirteen. He says that the popes, He says,
we the popes hold upon this earth the place of
God Almighty. Also, the Catholic National from July eighteen ninety
five says the Pope is not only the representative of
Jesus Christ, but he is Jesus Christ himself, hidden under
(13:53):
the veil of.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
Fleshok So, here is a power that openly, not hightened,
openly makes this claim, and it still holds to this
claim to this day. They have not renounced this, though
they may not make talk about it openly so much,
but they have not renounced it, nor have they made
a public statement that these statements are false and that
(14:16):
we do not believe this any longer. As Protestants have
been also forced to reject the teachings and say that
Luther's teachings what Luther was live day, he would change
his idea of the Church and the Reformation. Brothers and sisters,
I want you to see with me, is the power
that sists in the Temple of God, in the body
of Christianity claiming itself to be God.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
Yeah. Right there on the same page we quote obia
from the Criticism of the Catholic Church, Okay, published in
nineteen twelve.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
Yeah, this one says, we take this word from its
own literature, which is what you just quoted. It says,
does the priest truly forgive the sin? Or does he
only declare that they are remitted? The priest does really
and truly forgive the sins and virtue of the power
given to him by Christ. So that's what they're saying.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
So they claim that the power was given by Christ
in Christ a lot. But there is such a thing
as countryscripture. Okay, it is contrary to the scripture.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
And I just want to remind everyone that's listening that
you can receive this newspaper in your home with that
from where we're reading these quotes, So just make sure
to call us. It's free, and we are sure it
will be a blessing and an eye opener.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
By the way, while this program has been recorded, we
are sending through all North America a twenty eight page
of this But you don't have to wait for that
paper to arrive to your home. Through the work of
the by sick quotes that we're doing, or bulk bail
they call it. You can call and you get it
(15:54):
for free, the twenty pages of this study. You're just
calling us, I want pastor progress, offer a radio problem
or TV many other means. We're offering the twenty eight
page of the Great Conflict.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
And we will send it right away, Yes, right away.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
How much do we charge, Jodge?
Speaker 2 (16:16):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (16:17):
Okay. So can we read a couple of statement right
there on the same page. There was one in nineteen
twenty three on the top of the page. Can you
read it, Carla?
Speaker 2 (16:27):
Of course, of course, the Catholic Church claim we're quoting here.
Of course, the Catholic Church claims that the change was
her act and the act is a mark of her
ecclesiastical authority in religious things. This is from a Chancellor
of Cardinal Gibbons. It also says, Sunday is our marc
of authority the Church is above the Bible, and this
transference of the Sabbath observance is approof of that fact.
(16:52):
We're coding from the Catholic record from September first, nineteen
twenty three.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Was published in Ontario the first nineteen and many other statements.
Speaker 3 (17:03):
Read the next statement with that, because we're dealing with
the one with the silver still and we're showing what happens. Now,
we're going to see that they have believed they can
transfer the same changing of the sanctity of the Sabbath
to Sunday. And he said this is a mark of
her authority in ecclesiastical matters. But I notice here the
next point.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Wow, well, we are saved by grace through faith. Jesus
also said, if you love me, keep my commandments. Right.
God also says he that saith I know him and
keepeth not his commandments is a liar and the truth
is not in him.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
And what is what did what did they say about Sunday?
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Now they said, we're quoting here, Sunday.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Is a Catholic Please, I just want to mention what
you just read previous to this. We are saying it the.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
Bible and if we and if we love him. We
need to keep all of his ten commandership to Let's
see what the say. Yes, we are quoting here. Sunday
is a Catholic institution and its claims to observance can
be defended only on Catholic principles. From beginning to end
(18:08):
of Scripture, there is not a single passage that weren't
the transfer of weekly public worship from the last day
of the week to the first. This is from the
Catholic Press, published in Sydney, Australia and August nineteen ninety.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
So why are people observing and Sunday and are why
are labor unions and climate change advocates of pushing for Sunday.
Is it that they really want a day of rest
by God? Or do they want to follow the traditions
(18:42):
and teachings and customs of the power that claim to
transfer the day of rest from Saturday sunset Friday to
suns and Saturday to Sunday. Let's see read the next one.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
Sunday is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and
those who observe the day observe a commendment of the
Catholic Church. We a this No, this was said by
Priest Brady in an address reported in the Elizabeth, New
Jersey News March eighteen, nineteen oh three. So it was
a priest.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
So again, I know, and I know you know that
the sad thing is possibari color. And all of you
over there you know this. Many people when we share
all this information, they get upset with us. They say,
why you have to bring all this up. This is
the time that we need to be united, this time
that we need to put all those difference in the side.
(19:38):
But wait a minute, have they changed?
Speaker 3 (19:41):
No, they have. The only persons have changed are Protestants.
Protestants which are now called evangelicals. The evangelical world has changed.
The realm has not changed. Even though she may appear
to go along with certain things for the sake of unity,
she has not written, announced publicly any for doctrines that
(20:02):
were sound, for teachings of her laws and regulations and
customs and traditions. And this is something that is unfortunate
that people don't see this. And sometimes through traditions, they've
been following it so long because that mama did it,
their grandfather did it, their great grandparents, whatever case may be.
(20:23):
But the Bibe Jesus said in vain, do you worship
me teaching for doctrines to come madments of men, for
ye may avoid the law of God by your traditions.
You set aside the commandments of God to follow the
precepts of men.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
And by the program like this, we're helping our friends
out there to find the piece of silver.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
Yes, because now we see that the law the lost
piece of silver is over worshiped, and that lost piece
of silver is the fourth commandment, which is this seventh
day Sabbath from sunset Friday sunset Saturday versus the day
of rest that was transferred from Sabbath to Sunday and
Sunday being transferred not by God, God, the apostles, none
(21:07):
of the apostles, No, Jesus Christ himself changed the Sabbath
from seventh day to the first day of the week.
And now today with the different calendars out there today,
many people do not realize that now they're claiming that
Monday is the first day of the week, when actually
Sunday was the first day of the week. And now
we see it because they go on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday,
(21:31):
they're making Sunday the seventh day and Saturday the sixth day.
But in reality, the reality is Saturday is the seventh day.
But now we see what we see the abomination that Daniel,
that Jesus foretold abomination is an idol, correct, and we
found out now we see the abomination standing in the
place of that which is holy. We see a spurious
(21:54):
Sunday that has no divine authority of sanctification in the
place of God's seventh day Sabbath that had divine authority
and scientification, and that was part of his ten Commandment decalogue.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
Yeah, a few years ago I was preaching very close
to Spain in Europe, and one of the attendee, one
of the men that came to my meetings, he brought
me a dictionary published in Spain a few years ago.
In that dictionary it says that what you just said,
(22:28):
they placed Sunday as the seventh of the week and
Monday the first day of the week. So the change
has been been doing very qualetally, and suddenly, and my friends,
before it's going to be too late. The silver piece
we need to unveil it. We need to uncover it
(22:49):
because according to the Bible, the Word of God and
Revelation twenty two, twenty two fourteen. It said, those who
are going to have their aim written in the Book
of Life are going to be many women that have
been keeping the commandments of God. Revelation it says, what
I think it's I can read it right. Well, let
(23:11):
me see Revelation. Yeah, fortune blessed? Are those blessed? Are
those that do His commandments?
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (23:21):
Can you readly call? Please?
Speaker 2 (23:22):
Blessed her? Are they that do His commandments? That they
may have right to the Tree of life and may
enter in through the gates into the city.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
My friends, while we are not safe by keeping the
law or the commandments of God. While that is true,
it is also true that nobody is going to be
safe in violation of those commandments. Because the sign one
of the characteristic of those men and women that, by
(23:54):
God's grace are going to enter into the Kingdom of God,
one of the characteristics that will follow is being obedience
to the commandments of God, not commandments of men. And
that's the reason I like I like this parable the
pasta barry over here is bringing because that piece of
(24:14):
silver has been buried into so many traditions and teachings
of men. I'm sure Carla, as many of you over there,
but I'm sure you remember the Encyclopedia Britannica heard of Yeah,
on the Encyclopedia Britannica. I'm asking you and I want
(24:36):
par to help you if you need help. But in
Encyclopedia Britannica, what was record recorded? And by the way,
the Encyclopedia Britanica is not it's not a vent or not.
But it's a relationship to the Sunday law that was
established in Rome. What does it said? You remember that?
(24:58):
I mean you can paraphrase it.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
I think he quotes Constantine that that happened. That's what
it's like. It's not a divine institution. It was something
made here on by the rulers of this earth.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
What took place, pastor Barry during the in the year
three hundred and twenty one, that's the day of the
era of Christ.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
We know that A three twenty one a d is
a day that Constantine passed the law claiming the worship
of the of Sunday as a vulnerable they called the
divenerable day of the Sun. Actually, but it was sole
Victor invictus. It was a worship of the Sun and
(25:43):
the Invincible Son, the Conquering Son.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
To whom did he united to do that?
Speaker 3 (25:47):
He united the pagan and apostate Christianity, those who have
compromised their beliefs in Christianity. In fact, Constantine introduced it
so so well that most of the people went along
with it because it blended. That brought the Pagans together,
who will believe in idolatry of the Heathen religions, and
(26:09):
it blended Christianity together as well. And as a result,
this is how he thought politically, he could unite the
whole world in the sense of through this because the
Roman Empress had lost favor with many of the people.
But now through this unity he would now gain Paganism
and Christianity together.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
Let's tell the Christians that we're celebrating now the date
of the resurrection of Christ. Even tho they looked very
good in the ears of men, but that was not
according to the commandment of God. My friends, we need
to close, and we want to remind you it is
our prayer and our hope that you and your family,
(26:53):
along with us, will be blessed. God bless you all.
