Speaker 1 (00:00):
Reading no. Welcome, my friends. You're listening to the Voice
of the Eternal Gospel, a radio program brought to you
by the Eternal Gospel Minister. Founded in nineteen eighty two,
my Seven day Adventist believers. This is a Christian program
dedicated to bring to you the prophetic fulfillment, warnings and
(00:24):
revelations of the an time, and to promote the advancement
of Christ's character in your life. I am Pastor praphile Peres,
and I invite you to have a word of prayer.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Father in Heaven, We thank you that we have this
privilege of being able to share with others the wonderful
good news of the Everlasting Gospel. We ask me now
please grant us the Holy Spirit that he will abide
with us and give us understanding of the scriptures, teach
us all things, bring all things to our remembrance, and
help us to uplift Jesus in Jesus name for his Amen. Amen.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
We're going to talk about a topic that I believe
hopefully everybody would agree with us, which is God is love,
God love for men, and it's important as I have
over here, Pasabaria and Carla, to all of you, our
(01:29):
radio audience across the land to understand that in the
midst of all these calamities, violence, war, rumors of war,
all these chaos that we see and hear, it is
important to understand and to make sure that yes, God
(01:53):
is still wants to be in control, as control of
his creatures. Pastor Pardi, let me let me start with you,
asking you would will be the best way that we
can see that God really is love for us.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Well, the best way to see it is from the Bible,
and the Bible tells us over in one John four
eight that he did love if not know if not God.
For God is love, the one word that describes the
character of the creator of the world, the character one
who loved us and would also give himself for give
(02:33):
his son for us. Is the characteristic of love, which
is the foundation of his government and throne right.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
So in the Book of Psalms, Psalms one five fifteen
and sixteen says, go ahead.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
The word of God says, the eyes of all wait
upon thee, and thou givest them their meat. In due season,
Thou openest thine hand and satisfies the desire of every
living thing.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Amen. So from the Old Testament to the New Testament.
Even nature we can see, we can say, reveals the
love of God. Yes, every day the sun come out
for everybody.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Yes, in fact, it's here. There's something we need to
keep mindset. Nature and revelation alike testifies of God's love.
Our Father in heaven is the source of life, of wisdom,
and of joy. And then we look at the wonderful
beauty and things the nature you brought out a minute ago.
We think of the marvelous adoption to the needs of all,
(03:39):
not only the creatures that he created, but also the
happiness a man. That's the things we need to keep
in mind right now.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
How about when we hear people saying, sometimes will God
create evil? God? Uh in disease? How can I follow
a God when God does so much harm? They believe
(04:09):
that it is God that brings disease, pandemic catastrophes. Can
we really saved from the world of God, that it's
God bringing all that to us?
Speaker 2 (04:28):
How?
Speaker 1 (04:28):
How did God create everything Garla by.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
The word of by the word of his mouth, He's
spoke and it was done right.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
But in the Book of Genesis it says that.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Everything was good, everything, everything he created was.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
How many things was good.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Everything, everything, everything, including men, including men.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
So it's good to understand that because nowadays the enemy
has been misrepresenting his character. His character right. And when
people every time there's a tragedy, you know, they claim
that it is God. As a matter of fact, we
(05:10):
have experienced severs hurricane through Florida were you know ministry
is based and many people say, well, we have to
receive it because God send us those hurricane. No, God
create everything perfect, good, like you said, that's what the
(05:34):
Bible tell us. God is love and because it's love,
he's like a heavenly father. Isn't it everything perfect?
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Now? In Psalms forty five to seven, I want to
clear some as you were looking at as you were
talking about the idea that there are people who say
that God created evil and because everything God made was good,
right and good for his purpose as he brought it
into existence. In Isaiah chapter forty five, verse seven, can
you read that force color?
Speaker 3 (06:05):
Yes, I say forty five verse seven says I form
the light and create darkness. I make peace and create evil.
I the Lord do all these things.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Now when we need this text, I create darkness and
listen carefully and evil.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
It's just it's evil.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
It says, I formed light and created darkness. I make
peace and create evil. I the Lord do with these things. Now,
the question is what a god did, a God of love.
According to the scripture, on the surface, there is it
saying that God created evil on purpose of course, not
(06:48):
all right, So this is something that we This is
why I'm asking this question, because if God is love,
then where did the evil come from? Now? The verd
create there does not mean that God brought evil into
a resistence. It means God declares what is wrong, and
that which he declares is wrong is pronounced evil if
(07:10):
it's contrary to his character.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Right, That's why.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
That's how evil is created. When something goes contrary to
God's character and his law, then that is evil.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
Right, God allow evil things to come because man chose
to follow up evil darkness. Right, you're saying it's darkness, right,
But that's a good point because when we see it
that way, we just the right context in the Bible,
then we indeed will see the love of God. I
(07:43):
say fifty nine one and two. God, please really, because
right there we will see why we are into this
mess that we're leaving not today.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
I say A fifty nine to one and two says, behold,
the Lord's hand is not shortened that it cannot save,
neither his ear heavy that he cannot hear. But your
iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your
sins have hid his face from you, that he will
not hear.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
So God is love, God is light. But when we
separated from him, what would come into our life the opposite? Yes, dogs,
So our radio listeners, it's good to meditate on this thing,
because really, when we hear people saying trying to claim
(08:39):
that God are bringing all this chaos, violence, disease, it's
not fair to the characters of God. God's character is
again is love, it is mercy, It's his glory. And
the Book of x so those chapter thirty three, remember
(09:02):
when Moses asked God, show me thy glory. He really
showed to Moses, who is Can you read the carla
please in the Book of Exodus chapter thirty three, eighteen
and nineteen please.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
The word of God says, and he said, I beseech,
besach THEE show me thy glory. And he said, I
will make all my goodness past before THEE. And I
will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee and
I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious,
and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Okay, so he was going. God was about to reveal
to Moses his glory, his character who is in the
next chapter, writer, Carla, please thirty four of Exodus six
and seven. God is going to show Moses who who
(10:00):
he really is.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
And the Lord passed by before him and proclaimed the Lord,
the Lord God, merciful and gracious, long suffering, and abundant
in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, for giving
iniquity and transgression and sin. And that will by no
means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers
upon the children and upon the children's children, and too
(10:25):
the third and to the fourth generation.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
So what type of God is it?
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Merciful, long suffering, abundant in goodness and truth. Now that's
interesting because if we would go to the Bible. Most
people believe the Bible is boring at some point because
they feel that they read the Bible and they really say, well,
I know everything I know and I don't get anything
outside of it. That's because you have not studied the
(10:52):
Bible in the light of wanting to know God. You've
studied the Bible in the light of wanting to know
doctrine or be an acquainted with scriptures and stories, but
you have not studied the Bible in the light of
knowing the character of God. Because if we read Genesis
chapter one, and we understand that it says in the
beginning God, the first thing you must ask is who
(11:13):
is this God? Then the Bible says he created heaven
and earth, so he is creator. But then the next
thing you must answer is what is he like? What
is his character like? We just found out in one
John four, eight and sixteen that God is love. But
love okay, but love is just a single term. Is
what's his personality? More like? Then in Exodus thirty four
(11:36):
we just read we read the Lord God merciful. So
he's love, but he's merciful, gracious, he's long suffering, he's
abundant goodness and truth, keeping mercy for what thousands and
listen to this and forgiving iniquity and transgression and sins.
Stop what type? Who is this God? This is the
(11:58):
God that introduces himself to you in Genesis one one
in the beginning, God, who is love, merciful, gracious, long suffering,
abundant goods in truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgives the
nick and transgression, sins made heaven and earth. And now
we have a complete picture of the God, the creator
(12:23):
of the world. He's more than just a ceo of
bringing things into existence. He is the He's personal. Now
we know his character. Is he approachable? I'm a sinner,
you know, I've done a lot of terrible things wrong.
What is God that created all things? Hear me? The
Bible said, he keeps mercy for thousands. He forgives iniquity,
(12:46):
transgression and sins. So as a result of that, we
can see that this God, this God that created all things,
is concerned about not only the creatures, but especially mankind.
That's why we're talking about God's love for men. Man
has the power of intellect, he has the power of will,
(13:08):
power to make a choice. So it becomes very Christian
critical for us to understand that we are not talking
about a God that's that's giving you his word and
you can't get to know him. This the Bible says,
Acquaint now thyself with him and be at peace, be
at peace with who a god? Who is what love, merciful, gracious,
(13:31):
long suffering, abundanting goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands.
So giving a nickel in transgression sins. This is who
we this is who's This is who we're talking about.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
This is the God that we serve. Yes, and this
is the God that we preach all.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
This is the living in fact, this is the This
is the living God. This is not an idol. This
is not some stump that we make out we take
wood and form in our hands. This is the living
God and the one who's very breath we have in
our bodies.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Yes. Unfortunately, many people have said, well, if you got
it's so good, so perfect, so concerned for our human beings,
Why then has been so much sufferings? Again, because we
(14:17):
have been departing, We have been choosing.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
That there are two issues, evil instead of good. Right,
there's two issues that people must keep in mind. Most
people do not realize they're in the midst of a
great controversy. They don't realize that we are not wrestling
with flesh and blood, but with principalities and powers against
the rulers of the darkness. This world against spiritual weakness
high places based on Ephesians six twelve. Ephesian six twelve
(14:42):
tells us that there are some powers that are active
in the destruction of the human race, in the destruction
of human beings as we know it, from disfigurement on
down to suffering. God is not the origin. God is
not there. The is not the author of suffering, all right,
(15:02):
But this other power is. And we might well introduce
that while we're talking about this so we can get
the point. Revelation chapter twelve tells us of a war,
and we need to understand that we're in the midst
of this war right now on planet Earth. We need
to put that in there, because if you're talking about
God is love, and then say, if God is loved,
and why does he get all his suffering here? As
(15:23):
though God brought the suffering, we need to understand that
there's one There are two elements of stake here. There's
the element of sin. But sin did not originate on
planet Earth. The Earth became a victim of transgression through
the temptations of an enemy. The Earth was just a
target an evil man, but the enemy, the Bible says,
(15:46):
the war and where sin originated. It began in heaven itself.
The Bible says in First John, chapter three, verse eight,
can you read it.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
For its collar, hey, that committeth sin is of the devil,
For the devil sinneth. From the beginning.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Introduces a devil, not a man with red face and
pitchfork and a tale as people have tried to bring
it out or cleft foot got, but a beautiful angel
who rebelled against his maker. The Bible tells us of
the war that took place in heaven. The Bible even
gives us a personality trait of the character of this being.
(16:22):
But let's go a little bit closer. First of all,
what was his character like that led to the war,
And then we can better understand why God have to
send his son and why God's love needs to be
understood by falling by the fallen human race.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
So wait a minute, let me introduce this to the
two of you here, so our radio listeners, can you know,
cutch up with us too? So every time then that
we see and when we read through the history and
people arue this many times, especially the more sick minded person,
(17:01):
because this radio problem goes and that goes also to
many places through how you call it, secular radios, it's
not your through Christian radio stations, okay. And many times
they call good friends good people. And they said, but
if God is so loving and the religion is so good,
(17:24):
why throughout the history we read that there was so
much persecution under the name of your God. Why there
were so many the so called inquisitions under the name
of you God. So how can we help those people
to understand this point that God is love. Indeed, Christianity
(17:48):
a religion of love and peace.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
That's a question. Was that Christianity because Christianity is being
christ Like and throughout the life of Jesus, who is
the example to every Christian no matter what pastor post
or priest or whoever is out there throughout the throughout
the history of the world, throughout the history. If we
look at the life of Jesus, Jesus did not provoke war.
(18:13):
Jesus didn't go around, Jesus did not have an inquisition,
He didn't go around persecuting those who opposed his teachings.
In fact, there were two men. There was a man
that opposed that was out preaching in the name of
the Jesus. The disciples of Jesus said, Lord, we need
to go stop that man, because he's not he's not
(18:33):
with us.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
If Peter was ready to take the sword.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
Sure guy, and Jesus said, no, he does not whip me.
Is against me. Jesus showed that if people were out
there that were not of him walking with him per se,
but they believed in his name, and they believed in
the power of God, that they were not to be
assaulted or persecuted by even his own disciples because they
(19:01):
were actually furthering the Kingdom of God in his name.
All right, So we see very clearly that Christ was
opposed to Christ was not opposed to people who were
professing to be Christians who were spreading the Gospel at
the same time. We see today in the history of
the world, we see a Christianity that became popular by state,
(19:25):
by governments, by political power, and it professed the name
of Christ while using the state to help regulate their congregations, churches,
or believers for that matter.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
If even one of their minister, like in the case
of Martin Luther, came to the knowledge of the truth
and they tried to transform or reform the organization, then
they turned into the state to be persecuted.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Why was that so? Why would the church have to
have the power of the state. When the churches lose
the love of God and they lose the power of
the Holy Spirit, then they are subject to leaking for
power outside of divine power and authority. They look for
the power of men. They look to the power of
(20:14):
force and arms. And this is what we see taking
place in the world today. And this is the Christianity
that people have saw over the centuries. And this Christianity
is not Christianity. True Christianity was not accepted by the
world at large. So, in fact, the state Christianity sent
true Christianity into the wilderness. And we read about this
(20:37):
when we read about the Catacombs, and we read about
the church, the Church in the wilderness. There was a
church in the wilderness that were despised by the state
and the political leaders of that time and the world.
But yet it was God's Church who had the example
of christ like character, which is always seen in every
century among those who loved Jesus.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
So the you said something that should make us think today,
the true Christianity was sent to the wilderness.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
You, yes, into the wildness.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
Right, do we see in prophecy.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
Yes, we have a prophecy. We have a prophecy curranty.
That's why the issue of the Great Controversy is so important.
When we read about true Christianity being sent into wilderness.
We have a prophecy found in Daniel seven. Let's look
at something this. It's something there that's very interesting. But
I don't want to. I want to, we want to.
I want to keep Daniels seven. Let's look here at
(21:35):
verse in fact, go to Revelation. We'll come back to
Daniel later. Come go to Revelation chapter of twelve. Let's
look at verse four and six and fourteen.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
Okay, and the woman flooding to the wilderness where she
had a place prepared of God, that they should feed
her there one thousand, two hundred and three score dates.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
Okay, before you read that, for you and father, notice
e cet a what a woman of the Book of Revelation.
As we know from our studies in the past, that
the Book of Relation is written in symbols, and we
know that based on Revelation chapter one, verse one, when
it says the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave
under him to show into his servant's things will shortly
come the past. He sent and signified it by his
(22:12):
angel into a servant John. The words signified means to
put into symbols. So when we read about a woman
flowing to the wilderness in Revelation twelve six, that woman
is symbolic of something. What is a woman symbolic of? Well,
according to Jeremiah Jeremiah six two, let's go to Jeremi
six two.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
And while you find it also in the Book of Ephicians,
chapter five. But you written, please.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
Yes, Jeremiah six to two. The word of God says,
I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely
and delicate woman.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
Now notice I'm li likened the door of Zion to
a calmly and delicate one. But who is the door
of Zion? So we can be very clear. The Bible
says in Isaiah fifty one sixteen, it says, I have
put my words in my mouth and have covered it
a shadow my hand, that I may plant the heavens
and later foundation earth, and say unto Zion, that are
my people. The Daughter of Zion represents God's people. But
(23:05):
now it was old Testament. Let's go over to Corinths
eleven two. Ko, can you read that for us? And
an Ephesians five twenty five, Yeah, okay, said.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
Cand Corinthians eleven two says, for I am jealous over
you with godly jealousy, for I have espoused you to
one husband, that I that I may present you as
a chaste virgin to Christ.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
Notice that the church is presented as a what chase
virgin to Christ? A woman? All right? Look at Ephesians
five twenty five.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
Now Fiesians five twenty five says, husbands, love your wives,
even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
And what does twenty three say?
Speaker 3 (23:41):
Twenty three says, for the husband is the head of
the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church,
and he is the savior of the body.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Savior to the body. Notice so carefully, in Old and
New Testament, the church is symbolized as a woman, all right.
And so we find here that the woman fled into
the what wilderness? And now the Bible gives a pacific
time in Revelation twelve and twelve six, it gives a
specific time. What's the time.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
There thousand, two hundred and three score days.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
One thousand, two hundred and three score days. And then
in Revelation twelve fourteen, can you read that on force.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
And to the women were given two wings of a
great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into
her place where she is nourished for a time and
times and have a time. For the face of this
from the face of the service.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
Now she nourished for a time, time and half of time. Now.
Both these texts indicate a period of time in which
the church, God's true church, his people who have the
christ like character, who followed the word of God, who
believe in keeping all the commandments of God, who.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
Were revealing God's.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
Character to the world. But they did not have the
power to state. They only had the power of love.
They were not seeking political power gain. They had the
power of God's love. Okay. And that power we see
was for one day. They went one one sixty years.
In prophecy, a day stands for a year, and so
(25:06):
therefore numbers fourteen thirty four of a point each day
for a year. All right, So let's take a look.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Yeah. No, what I was gonna say is, when we
think so, then the God's character, which is love, long suffering, okay,
And we see let's say a Christianity which is not
revealing those characteristic those characters, then we should not blame
(25:34):
it into.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
God, no, but to men in fact, right.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
Because it's too you mentioned before, which is in the Bible.
Of course, we are in this great conflicts between good
and evil.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
And there's two different types of women, two different types
of churches. And from the scriptures we will find out
what church represent Christianity and what church represented the form
of tists but denied the power of Christianity.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
Right, I call it like a generic Christianity GMO. But
you know what, my friends out there, it's good to
think though, that there is a Everybody has the opportunity
to choose either to reveal by God's grace, God's love,
God's gardented in our life, or to reveal in the
(26:20):
name of God like one of the engineer or one
of the radio stations was as what was telling me so? Well,
the problem is it's hard for me to become a
Christian because all I have seen through the history is hypocrisy, killing,
bloodshed under the name of God. And I must conclude today,
(26:42):
my friends, by reminding you, yes, God is love and
those who follow them must be loving people too. My
God bless you all.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
