Speaker 1 (00:00):
Reading. Welcome, my friends. You're listening to the Voice of
the Eternal Gospel, a radio program brought to you by
the Eternal Gospel Minister. Founded in nineteen eighty two by
Seven Day Adventist believers. This is a Christian program dedicated
to bring to you the prophetic fulfillment, warnings and revelations

(00:25):
of the end time, and to promote the advancement of
Christ's character in your life. I am Pastor Raphile Perez,
and I invite you to have a word of prayer.
Dear Heavenly Father, we want to thank you again for
giving us this great privilege to present Thy words. And

(00:46):
as we see the signs of that cunning or Lord,
help us all to get ready for the greatest event
ever to happen in this earth. Help our friends out
there to get ready, Help us all to get ready,
and let us our Lord to build up thy kingdom
and finish up Thy work. In the name of Jesus,

(01:08):
we pray, Amen. Okay, Moving along with this, we still
can call it landmarks of the Bible, this program, right,
and then if that is a topic, if I'll ask you,
brother Patrick, which will be the most important. I mean,

(01:30):
the whole Bible is important because it is the word
of God. We've been talking about prophecies and all that.
But what is the purpose for God giving us the Bible?
What was the purpose for God for Jesus to come
and die for us? What is the biggest events ever
that it's about to take place?

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Well, Jesus wants to save us from sin, and those
who have allowed him to cleanse them from sin. He
will come to save them to inherit a new heaven
and a new Earth, according to the promise that he
gave to Abraham.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Okay, part so the highlight of the entire Bible is
the second Coming? Is that right now? But we need
to understand the signs of his coming so that we
can know when it is near. And this is what
we're going to study today.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Friends. Yep, did the disciple or concerned about the second
coming of Christ?

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Absolutely? Matter of fact that Matthew twenty four Matthew chapter
twenty four, Looking at verse three, notice what the Bible says.
And as he said, Jesus said upon the amount of olives,
the disciples came unto him privately, saying, tell us when
shall these things be? And what shall be the sign
of thy coming and of the end of the world.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
You see, some people might say out there, whow So
even Christ's disciples were concerned about the second comedy, and
still he hasn't come. So why should I pay attention
to you guys to this, You know, ministers that we
have heard about the second comedy of Christ from you know,

(03:19):
many years, and he hasn't come. How can we answer
to those people?

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Well, one thing that Paul talked about to the Thessalonians
who had that same question. He said, there would come
a falling away first, and the man of sin be revealed,
and someone that would claim to be like Jesus sit
in the Temple of God like acting like he has gone.
And that was the fulfillment of the prophecy in Daniel

(03:44):
seven twenty five of the anti Christ who had reigned
during the Dark Ages and continues till christ second coming.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
So what we see is that the fulfilming of all
this prophecy has not become yet. We can say to
the you know, to the completion, completed feature of the
prophetic events, because there's another events that we know being

(04:13):
put together, sometimes very secretly, sometimes very openly, and the
one that being open we can talk about, right, the
one that we don't know. But we don't know, right,
But prophecy is there and it's going to be fulfilled.
It's being fulfilled, right, Yes.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Yeah, I want to say that. But in the main
reason why we have not seen Jesus actually come because
most of the signs have been fulfilled, like you're saying,
most of them have been fulfilled. This prophecy that passor
Jones had, but the Jones have just mentioned is here.
We're living in that time. But there's one important reason
why Jesus has not come, and people should not be

(04:56):
angry with it. They should be actually happy so they
can have some time to get ready. But notice what
it says in verse twenty four. It says, I mean
verse fourteen of chapter twenty four of Matthew, and this
Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the
world for a witness unto all nations. And then shall
the income. So according to the words of Christ, this

(05:19):
gospel and that's this is a definite article, a specific
gospel must go to the entire world. And it said
it has to be preached in all the world. And
then it says for a witness. In other words, God
is not just asking people just to say it. He's
asking people to live it. He wants the world to
see this gospel being lived out in all the world,

(05:42):
into all nations, and then Jesus is going to come.
In other words, Jesus wants everybody in this world to
have a chance to see the gospel lived out and
to accept it. So really, the reason why he has
not come is because as Christians, we have not lived
out this gospel.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
So this is, as you mentioned, a very specific especial
gospel is the ever Lasting Gospel according to Revelation fourteen
six and seven.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
As a matter of fact, the Gospel and Revelation fourteen,
verses six through twelve, as you mentioned, it's the only
gospel or message that is given right before Jesus comes.
Jesus comes, I believe in verse fourteen, I believe it is.
And so this specific gospel, the Bible actually calls it
the Everlasting Gospel. And they're contained and three messages from

(06:39):
three different angels. And so that is the gospel that
must go to the earth before the second Coming.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
And of course those angels Patrick aar who and what
con sist of. It's not literal angels of.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Course, yes, angels don't preach the Gospel to every nation,
kindred tongue and people Revelation fourteen, verse six. But God
uses people, and so these angels are cooperating. They represent people,
a movement of people who are cooperating with the angels
of heaven.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Messengers. Yeah, that's what angels. The Greek lang which angel
law meaning messengers. Right, Okay, that's important. No, we can
go back into history of the Protestant Reformation. They didn't
preach the three Angels messages. No, why not?

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Because the time had not yet come. And the first
Angel's message announces the hour of God's judgment is come,
and that refers to the end of the twenty three
hundred day prophecy that came to end and in eighteen
forty four when Christ entered the most holy place to
enter upon the last phase of an investigative judgment.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Right, the Reformation didn't preach it. Georges, the popular George
didn't preach it. The popular George coming from Rome didn't
preach it. So I'm bringing this, you know, to all
those friends out there, because the same people that try
to really kill us are the people that God, on
his mercy has been extending.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
That's correct mercy for his mercy wonderful, you know, and
I include myself, you know, you know, if God would
have come, if Jesus would have come, you know before
for me getting this opportunity, you know, to you know,
to look for myself and study by myself and looking

(08:33):
closely all these prophetic signs.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
And we can mention some of them. Right because in
the Book of Matthew twenty four, verse seven, in fourteen,
well you read fourtune verse seven, Okay, you re pleas.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
It says for nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom
against kingdom, and there shall be famines and pestilences and
earthquakes and diverse places.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Okay, Bill Patrick. Have we seen in the last especially
one hundred years or so, the fulfillment of this prophecy?

Speaker 2 (09:10):
The science, yes, I think science. We can we hear
in the internet, news and different sources that earthquakes and
violent storms and these things that were mentioned, famine and
pestilences are increasing in number frequency more than had occurred

(09:31):
in the past.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Within the last one hundred years, we have seen the
Two World War. Wow, right, I mean, it's it's amazing.
How God, you know, the prediction coming to pass.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
And also pestilences. We've seen all kinds of diseases that
have that have never existed before. Remember when AIDS first
came out and everybody we were all amazed, what is
this in Ola virus? Ebola virus is all types of
different immune diseases now that are out that with the
body destroying itself. It is just incredible. And another thing

(10:06):
we've seen and an age of incredible abundance. We have
still seen famines all over the world.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
Ye. And people can argue and say, well, and the
earthquakes and calamity always has been earthquakes, but you know what,
not with a frequency in the intensity that we have
seen it in the last one hundred years. That's right, amazing, amazing.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
One of the first signs in Revelation about Christ's incoming
was there would be In Revelation chapter six, there's a
list that begins with a great earthquake, and that was
the Lisbon earthquake of seventeen fifty five. That's when people
started recording earthquakes because it was so great.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Wow. And Jesus spoke also about Remember Jesus was talking
to his disciple two thousand years ago and he said
that you know.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
There will be a tribulation coming, yes, time of persecution
of the tribulation, Yes, coming. Can you place Mathew twenty four,
twenty one and twenty two Matthew twenty five.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
It says, then shall be great tribulation such as was
not since the beginning of the world to this time,
no wherever shall be verse twenty two. And except those
days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved,
but for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
No, this prophecy was fulfilled, partially fulfilled already in the past.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
Absolutely, and we're gonna look at that a little bit
more carefully. During a twelve hundred and sixty year period,
it actually was. And it's interesting because this prophecy was
specifically if you if you read this carefully, you see
that that tribulation was specific for Christians because they said
no flesh should be saved if these things didn't come

(11:48):
to pass. Because the Bible is going to tell us
of another tribulation when it talks in Daniel twelve one,
when Michael stands up, but that is going to be
for the entire.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
World, and it's still in the near future. It's still
in the future, Okay, who was in control of the world,
what kingdom during the time of the Apostolic Church.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Right, people roam that tried to take the place of
Christ holy place. That happened the sanctuary.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Before we go there, the pagan rom I mean we
can go to any history books we will read about
Nero Clichian. I mean, those were so evil emperors. You
know that they were trying to eliminate everybody, anybody that
will say that they were Christians. Right, but the devil noticed.

(12:40):
What did the devil notice while all those evil men
emperors were trying to destroy Christianity? What happened to Christianity
at that time? And the first two.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
Years it began to grow Tertullian said their blood was
like seed.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Growing and growing and growing. So what was the uh?

Speaker 2 (12:59):
What happened in that little bit Right after die Cletian
persecuted Church for ten years or ten days according to the
Revelation Chapter two, die Clician I mean Constantine became the
first quote unquote Christian emperor and he started working with
the Bishop of Rome, and church and state started joining together.
So now Satan was working in a different way, not

(13:19):
persecuting the church, but joining with the church.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Huh. By the way, just for information, historical information, Okay,
we're not making this up. History. It was by the
fourth century when the papercy was established. So it was
not with Peter, it was not you know before that.
It was at that time when Constantines, you know, Constantin

(13:42):
make the Bishop of Rome, you know, the like the
head of the Christian George, and he became so to speak, Christian.
And then we'll hawpen bust the part.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
I just want to add that Constantine when he did that,
he left the uh in three point thirty eight, he
left Rome and he went to Constantinople and established his
capital there. So he not only left the power of
the church in the hand of the Bishop of Rome,
but he left also the civil power of the western
side of the Empire in the hand of the Bishop

(14:15):
of Rome. So he became now a civil power and
he became a religious power at the same time, the
Bishop of Rome.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Okay, and then another type of persecution was established for
the true Christian Church at that time.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Yes, during the dark ages the papacy, the Bishop of Rome,
he didn't really wield civil power directly, but he would
use his vassals, the King of Spain, the King of England,
the King of France, especially King of France, and the
Holy Roman Empire, and different ones to do his bidding

(14:52):
and rooting out different sects that were trying to maintain
the truth.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
The heretics, so called heretics. Yeah, but those heretics were
the Christians, the true Christians. Remember that the you a
ready listeners, The true Christians were those who were persecuted
by the popular Church. I need to clarify that because
I didn't know those things. See, I was told. I

(15:18):
was raised thinking that, you know, there was a favor,
so to speak, that the popular Church was doing, through
the kings, trying to convert the so called heretics into
the Christianity according called Christianity. You know, no, it was
all the opposite. The purity of the Christian faith was

(15:43):
on the hands of those men and women that were burned,
well executed, that were big headed, that.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Were hiding in the Alps, and.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
That was the true Christian Church. Please get I hope
that you understand that.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Say it against the Albigensis. The Albigens were one groupt
the world dancies another. The Celtic early Celtic Church.

Speaker 5 (16:08):
The Christians in Africa, Central Africa. It's good to understand
that because we are repeating the history. Yes, and nowadays,
like in those times.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
The popular church, well we.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Might call Christianity. According to the Word of God, it
doesn't have to be the same. The Word of God
described the true Christian churches as all who, according to
Revelation Fortune throughout seventeen.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
There was the woman who fled into the wilderness.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
Those that keep the commandments of God, those.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
Of Jesus Christ, Yes, including the seventh day Sea.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
Yeah, and that takes a hold of every nation. People,
any it doesn't matter who you are. If you fit
in that category, you are a true Christian. You are
the people of God in God's eyes.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
I like you to say that pass the park because
many people has been misguided. They say, you know this,
people that preach around that TV radio, this they call
themselves sometimes the advent is they think they're the only
one who is going to be safe. No, no, no,

(17:24):
no no. I was preaching, as you know, recently outside
of this country, and I was preaching openly to.

Speaker 6 (17:31):
A bunch of people that give in. I said, you know,
Jesus is not coming for a denomination. Jesus is not
coming for a specific religion. Jesus is coming for those
men and women that, by His grace have been surrendering
the heart to have and being transformed, overcoming every sin transgression.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Of God's law. That's what Jesus is coming for. We
need to clarify this often, and I hope that our
people go to the TV program too through Eternal Gospel
dot Com or City in Christian Television Network every weekend.
We are a nationwide or even even outside of the
United States, as I was a few days ago. I

(18:15):
was able to watch our program from outside of the
country the United States. I praise God for those things,
but we need to remind our people that each one
of them. Yes, you are listening now on the radio
on your car and your home and your office. Okay,

(18:37):
you are a candidate. You are a child of God
only if you're surrendered and.

Speaker 5 (18:43):
Become a new a new, a new creature with the
new creature right, a new birth.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Surrendering means to submit our will to God and be
obedient to not.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
To a denomination, not to a really use this in
but to the water.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
Car Is that a good and Jesus will have his
own kingdom, and his kingdom the characterics of his kingdom
are keeping the commandments of God and have the testimony
of Jesus Christ. That's the only characteristics. It doesn't matter
where you're from, it doesn't matter how you look. These
are the characteristics.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
From every nation, character time and people.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
That's a made in kindred means family, every family, every
type of family, every people. That means people without a nation,
because he said every nation. So God loves all of you,
and God wants you to be part of his kingdom,
and we want to be part of it too.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Now, according to this prophecy of Jesus, then there will
be there will be another time of tribulation persecution that
will come, and we can we find out past the part?
Can you read Revelations seven twelve seventeen, Place twelve seventeen.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
Revelation twelve seventeen says these.

Speaker 7 (19:56):
Words because many people preaching that not the church, it's
going to be taken to heaven, the so called Christian Church,
and then tribulation will come to this earth.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
And that's not what Jesus stopped. As a matter of fact,
Jesus was pretty specific. He knew that Satan was trying
to deceive maybe with those false theory. And look what
it says to that. Please, can you read it?

Speaker 3 (20:25):
First Revelation twelve seventeen says, and the dragon was wroth
with the woman who is the dragon. The dragon in
verse nine is Satan, and Satan was wroth with the woman,
and the woman will represent the church according to so
many different texts in descriptions, and went to make war

(20:45):
with the remnant of her seed. I mean them is last,
the last of her children. And then it gives the
characteristics of them which keep the commandments of God and
have the testimony of Jesus Christ. So there's going to
be another war. I mean there is another war, I
should say right now, persecution, a persecuting war where the
dragon is going to be persecuting those people that keep

(21:08):
God's commandments and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
Wow, by the patrick, that's the history, repeat sir, yes, yes, oh,
here we see it.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
Unfortunately, unfortunately, so that's why the United States separated church
and state, learning from history. But now we're forgetting that
history and church and states trying to get back together.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
That's a dangerous that's a very dangerous thing. Because you
mentioned that the popular church persecuted the true Christians using
the kings, could that be repeated at the same time too,
at the same time, Yes, my dear. And there's a
booklet maybe we should offer it. It's called The Rupture.

(21:51):
It's free of charge. We send it to those people
free of charge, or you can download it going through
our website internal gospel dot com. Okay, in the really
is free. Every name we senter o here is free. Okay. So,
because many people are going to be deceived thinking that

(22:16):
they're not going to be going through persecution, they're going
to join the so to speak, the popular beliefs, popular churches,
and they're going to the end be lost because they'll
be waiting to be taken to Heaven in their own

(22:37):
transgression of the law and their own sins. And no,
God is very specific, is coming for a pure church.
Man's not for a denomination, but a pure church that
keep the commandments of God and have the favor of Jesus. Yes,
that's the church that we and the dragon. Of course, Now,

(22:59):
the same way that the devil used human institutions and
human instrumentalities to carry out this persecution.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
He will do this, say what you were saying about
the church being ready for christ second coming. Revelation nineteen,
verse seven says, let us be glad and rejoice and
give honor tim for the marriage of the Lamb is come,
and his wife hath made herself ready, and to her
was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen,
clean and white. For the fine linen is the righteousness

(23:29):
of the saints. In the prophecies, the Gospel has a
lot to do with just making a people ready for
Christ's second coming and being saved from their sins.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
Yes, now, after that tribulation that we spoke about, as
far as the twelve hundred and sixty year tribulation, during
the time where true Christians were being persecuted for their
faith by so called other Christians. After that, the Bible
says in verse twenty nine, Jesus says, immediately after the
tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened. And now,

(24:03):
so when we dig into this prophecy more about the
twelve hundred and sixty days, we'll find that it was
from five thirty eight to seventeen ninety eight. But Jesus
says the tribulation of those days would end by a
sign that the sun would be darkened, because this is
immediately after the tribulation of those days, He'll be darkened.
Where we find on May nineteenth, seventeen eighty that the

(24:26):
sun was darkened upon the face of the earth, and
people back then recognize it as a sign that Jesus
spoke of right here, This is amazing. In the book,
then it says, and the moon shall not give her light,
and Revelation chapter six it gives a little bit more detail,
says that she will be turned blood red. Well, that
happened the same night May nineteen, that's correct, seventeen eighty.

(24:49):
Then it says, and the stars shall fall from heaven
and the powers of the heaven shall be shaken. We
find on November the thirteenth and eighteen thirty three that
actually happened.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Yeah, it's amazing, all those big sciences up the greatest
meteor shower in the history of the Earth. None, no
meteor shower has ever been greater than that, and it
started the study of meteorology.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
Amazing. But you know what, what is amazing more amazing
the people having even that, they don't care to find
those things out, those signs the devil got them so preccupied,
like in the days of Noah, like in the days
of Lots. It says, right there, that's another science.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
Yes, And then the verse goes on the powers of
heaven shall be shaken, and then shall appear the sign
of the Son of Man in heaven, and then shall
all the tribes of the earth more. And that's christ
second here.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
But we can take one minute list are we seeing
that the prevailing condition of Noah's time and lots time to.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
That right now, really quick. The Bible tells us in
the Book of Luke seventeen, chapter seventeen, verse twenty eight,
two thirty that one of the signs is going to
be that the world is going to be like the
days of Lot. Well, if you if you look at
the days of life, you saw sexual immorality, particularly a
sodom and sodom and sodom and gomorrah, that it would

(26:10):
be accepted by society, the sexual immorality, speakingly of homosexuality.
And I'm not trying to put down anybody, I'm just
telling telling what the Bible says. And nowadays in our lifetime,
now we see that homosexuality is accepted in society.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
All these things that we see, my friends out there,
all the calamities, all the prevailing conditions, immorality in religions,
in all this what I call preaching a social gospel
instead of preaching the other lasting gospel. All those signs
is telling us that Jesus is at the door, and

(26:46):
we must get ready by His grace. And you have
been called at this time. And I hope and pray
that the Holy Spirit will impress your mind, your heart,
so render your life to Him today. God bless you all.
