Speaker 1 (00:00):
Read Welcome, my friends. You're listening to the Voice of
the Eternal Gospel, a radio program brought to you by
the Eternal Gospel minist founded in nineteen eighty two by
Seven Day Adventist believers. This is a Christian program dedicated
to bring to you the prophetic fulfillment, war means, and
(00:24):
revelations of the ad Time and to promote the advancement
of Christ's character in your life. I am Pastor Raphile Peres,
and I invite you to have a word of prayer.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Father in heaven signs the time show us that Christ
coming is near, bless us to be ready for that
great event, plus that we would be willing to surrender
our wills to thee and plus then we might know
the events of that time. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Amen, Amen. And the previous program we presented the Second
Coming of Christ. We noticed that everybody will see him
when it comes. It's going to be a date of joy,
but the date of sorrow. Date of joy for those who,
(01:20):
by God's grace have allowed to obtain the life of
Christ in their life, the character of life, the patience
of life, the obedience of Christ right and there will
be a time of sorrow and anguish to those who
(01:42):
have been rejecting right Christ. By the way, we notice
also that the second Coming of Christ is not divided
into two phases has been taught today. It's only one event,
the second coment of Christ. Okay, and next to that
(02:02):
events the second coming. What do we see in the
Bible that will take place Jesus the say comes, you know,
bring his people to having his church. The wicked being destroyed, right,
that that's what the Bible speak. The wicked has been destroyed.
(02:24):
When I say the wicked, by the way, who are
going to be the wicked at that moment? In a way?
Everybody what that we're not.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
They were not forgiven for their sins. No, we're not
being taken to have it right, the ones that didn't
repent of their sins.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Period.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Okay, Christ second coming that's seen in Revelation nineteen marks
the beginning of the time period known as the millennium
or the thousand years that's seen in Revelation chapter twenty.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
Yeah, that is a term. I'm glad that you defined,
because sometimes when we speak about the millennium, people say,
what are you talking about? What is that? Look it's
a thousand years literal years that will take place from
the time that Jesus take is coming to after the millennium.
(03:20):
Will see what happened then, right? But is there a
Bible verse that introduced the millennium?
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Can you read it?
Speaker 3 (03:26):
This is in Revelation twenty and verse four. It says,
and I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and
judgment was given unto them. And I saw the souls
of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus
and for the word of God, and which had not
worshiped the beasts, neither his image, neither He's received his
(03:48):
mark upon their foreheads or in their hands. And they
lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. So this
is what Pastor Perez was speaking of. After Jesus comes
the second in time, he takes his people into heaven
and they looks like here that they are sitting on
thrones of judgment and they are judging someone, and we're
(04:11):
going to find out who they're judging. And they're up
there in heaven and reign with Christ in heaven for
one thousand years. Another word for one thousand years is millennium.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Okay, So I mean, that's what the Bible says, yes, period,
And how do we know that this prophecy is going
to be now right now for this after the second copy,
because already it says right there that they already have
obtained a victory. That's right, that's why they're sitting in
tron That's right, they're judging you. That's correct.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
That's a good point.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Yeah, And whom does poor say the Saints are to
be judged? Because there's a judgment and started right there
by bout.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
First Corinthian six says, dare any of you having a
matter against another go to law before the just and
not before the saints? Do you not know that the
Saints shall judge the world? And if the world shall
be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the
smallest matters? Know you not? That we shall judge angels?
(05:13):
And how much more things that pertain to this life?
Speaker 1 (05:17):
He's talking about obviously to the Christians right right, the
Princian Church, right, they're going to be we're going to
be judging giving angels, right, okay, And it must be
the time period of that thousand years where the judging
of angels is going to take place yeah, because after
I mean when Jesus will come, there will be two resurrections,
(05:41):
the two resurrections mentioned in the Bible. Yes, one that
will take place when Jesus come for the second time,
but there'll be another resurrection that will take place after
the thousand years. That's correct, that's what the Bible teach.
That's really please.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
This is in John chapter five, verses twenty eight twenty nine,
Jesus said, marvel not at this, for the hour is
coming in the which all that are in the graves
shall hear his voice. So that means right there in
that statement that's wicked and righteous, all will hear his voice.
And then it says, and shall come forth they that
(06:20):
have done good onto the resurrection of life. So now
he separates it, and then he says, and they that
have done evil onto the resurrection of damnation. So notice,
the resurrection of life happens first, and then the resurrection
of damnation. Now, how do we know when the resurrection
(06:40):
of life will happen? And how do we know when
the resurrection of damnation will happen? Well, first, Thessalonians chapter
four tells us when the resurrection of life will happen.
Notice what it says here and first Thessalonians chapter four.
First Thessalonians chapter four, and we're going to zero in
on verse. Let's see this zero in on verse. Let's
(07:05):
see here thirteen. Yes, let's do that. I was in
on Timothy, Sorry about that, and the one that couldn't
find it. Okay. Verse thirteen Paul says, would not. I
would not have you to be ignorant, brethren. Concerning them
which are asleep. Now, the Bible uses sleep as a
word describing death many times. Now, Jesus said that when
he says that Lazareth was sleep, and then he says,
(07:27):
I really mean he's dead. Jesus made it plain. Yeah,
it was just sleeping, right, that's correct. So Paul is
speaking of sleep here as a death. So concerning them
which are sleep that ye saw or not even as
others that have no hope. For if we believe that
Jesus died and rose again, even sold them also would
sleep in Jesus will God bring with him? For this
(07:48):
we say unto you by the word of the Lord.
So now he's gonna say, I'm getting this from the Bible.
That's what he's saying. That we which are alive and
remain until the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent.
That word prevent means go before, shall not go before
them which are asleep. So he's saying, when Jesus comes,
we are not going to be going to heaven before
(08:09):
those that have died Already. He says this, for the
Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, And
we covered that already with the voice of the archangel
and with the trump of God. And the dead in
Christ shall rise first. So at the second Coming, the
resurrection of the good happens first the Christians.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
The ones who believe.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
He says, then, we which are alive and remain shall
be caught up together in the clouds to meet the
Lord in the air. I'm sorry, let me read that again.
Then we shall we which are alive and remain, shall
be caught up together with them in the clouds to
meet the Lord in Lord in the air. And so
shall we ever be with the Lord. So this is
the second Coming. So the second coming, we see, that
(08:53):
is the resurrection of the those that are good. And
so we're going to see as.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
We were going to go, and of course, I'm sorry,
go ahead, well, when you say a good, let's define
a little more. Just Jesus he said, right, he said
that there's nobody good, but only by my Father.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Well, the reason why I said that is because in
the previous text in John he says them that are good.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Yeah, you know to that that term coding means what
means righteous have been declared right? That being.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Yes, I heard. In Revelation twenty, the first resurrection is
in verse six where it says, this is the first resurrection.
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the
first resurrection. On such the second death, hath no power.
But they shall be priests of God and of Christ,
and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
So the Bible speak about first resurrection in second resurrection.
That's not an invention of us. And many people say, oh,
an invasion of a lady, isn't It is the water God.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
The second resurrection is mentioned in Revelation twenty where it says,
but the rest of the dead lived not again until
the thousand years were finished.
Speaker 3 (10:12):
Absolutely, So this that text, what brother Jones is read,
makes it very clear that the resurrection of the righteous
happens at the second coming. Then a thousand years goes
past of judging and after the thousand years, as the
Bible clearly sit here in that verse, that's when Jesus
resurrects the wicked.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
And that's the resurrection of damnation that Jesus talked about
correct in John chapter five, correct verse nine.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
Right, the question is just to make this very clear,
that mean so that those people that were not saved,
were not taking to do everything, had another chance. No, no,
that's why we called it. I couldn't be a resurrection
of what damnation? Damnation to receive the eternal destructure.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
The Bible talks about two deaths. The first death is
called a sleep, and it's the penalty for adam sin
that falls upon all humanity. But the wicked will be
raised in the second resurrection, and they will have to
pay the penalty for their own sins. But thank God
(11:25):
that he gave us Jesus Christ, and Jesus paid the
penalty for our sins and for all the world. If
they will accept Jesus.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
If see that little ward and the English language is
so profound, if they will accept it, if they will
be willing to be transformed by the power of the
Holy Spirit.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Point and that second death is not anat burning in
an eternal fire, but it is a burning root and
branch into ashes. The person will be burned up completely,
and it will be an eternal punishment, not any eternal punishing.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
Right, that's good to be clarified, because many people miss understand,
misrepresent the Bible by saying, you see, it's just that
they're going to be in fire, in the lake of
fire forever and ever and ever. Well, that is an
idiomatic expression from the Bible, meaning that until it will.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
Last as long as their life shall last.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
Right, and friends, stay tuned, because our next study is
called the Reward of the Wicked again, and we'll be
digging into that more more deeper.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Yeah, but before we go there, we still have to
bring more Bible verses today. And this Bible is studied
because this is a topic that I know is one
of the least understood out there. That's right. So let's
go by by part Jesus for the second coming that
(13:02):
takes church is people to having the millennium is started
the thousand years right there going to be judging in there?
Whom are they going to be judging?
Speaker 3 (13:12):
The Bible says, we've read it Paul says, we will
be judging angels, and that must be the fallen angels,
and who else, and that that must be the wicked.
We must be looking at the books of those who
did not make it.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Some forty nine talks about that time of judgment. Verse
five says, let the saints be joyful in glory, in glory,
Let them sing aloud of upon their beds. Let the
high praises of God be in their mouth, and a
two head sword in their hand, to execute vengeance upon
the heathen, and punishments upon the people. To bind their
(13:48):
kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron,
to execute upon them the judgment written this honor. Have
all his saints praise ye the Lord. That's why Paul
knew that the saints would judge the angels and the
wicked when he wrote to the Corinthian Church and First
Corinthians chapter six.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
Man, so we find well you read what did the
postal circlecerning this about this? Because when he become, when
he they living wicked with Christ, they'll be living wicked also.
That's correct. See Christ to Come in the Book of
Luke chapter seventeen twenty six. To Terryka you really please.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Luke, Chapter seventeen. Yes, it says, as it was in
the days of no Noah, so shall it also be
in the days of the Son of Man. They did eat,
they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage,
until the day that Noah entered into the ark and
the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise, also as
(14:57):
it was in the days of Lot, they did eat,
they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they build it.
But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom,
it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.
Even thus shall it be in the day when the
Son of Man is revealed.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
Okay, So the people who are going to be doing
all their wicked activities when Jesus become the wicked and
that they're going to do the same thing that they're
doing today. They're going to try to ridly gure those
of us were preaching. But there was something that I
want to be able to bring over here in the
(15:36):
Book of Jude. Can you read please verse eleven, because
I want to leave very clear the deception of an
eternal hell, destroy got character, destroy that they will been
trying to destroy this good character of God, that teaching.
(15:58):
Can you read the verse seven please?
Speaker 2 (16:01):
Verse seven says, even as Sodom and Gomorrah and the
cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to
fornication and going after strange flesh, are set forth for
an example suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
Okay, see many people used verses of this, and it
makes him believe that Solomon more so for the eternal fire.
But what do the Bible mean by that? Let's book.
Let's look in the Book of Lamentation. Please Lamentation chapter four,
verse six for sixs this really quickly, and Jehan and Maiah, brother.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Brother patchick well and I read tewcod Peter two, verse six,
where God plainly says that he turned the cities of
Solom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
So so my question is, just because the Bible says
eternal fire, that means that soulomnmore? Are you still burning?
Speaker 2 (17:03):
No?
Speaker 1 (17:03):
No, obviously not.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
But their punishment was eternal.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
Another forever right and.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
There was no second chance, That's what I mean.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
And it was it was not a fire like we
could make a fire on earth. It was a spiritual
fire that God had brought upon them. So the emphasis
also is that the fire is not like a natural fire.
In other words, the fire was going to consume them
completely and and and nobody was there going to be
(17:32):
able to put it out.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
We can say it was fire because I said it
was fire, right, But it destroyed, That's correct. It was destroyed. Likewise,
that will happen to the week after the millennium, after
the thousand years the Bible revelation twenty verse eighty nine,
and yet written right.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
I just want to say it was a literal fire,
but it was a fire brought by God. It was
a man didn't put it up. Okay, let's go to
Lamentations four verse six. Okay, he says, for the punishment
of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is
greater than the punishment of the sin of sodom. That
was overthrown as in a moment, and no hand stayed
(18:10):
on her. It was in a moment, that's right. It
was destroyed and overthrown in a moment. That means it
was done. It was overthrown. In other words, if it
was still burning, then it's not overthrown.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
That's right, and they will not be like that, that's correct. Destroy.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
Malachi says that the righteous will walk on the ashes
of the wicked.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
That's why, that's why. Do you know, millions and millions
of people have been deceived with this false notion that
God is going to be punishing, burning, literal, burning the
wicked for eternity. Can you imagine what kind of a
God is not?
Speaker 3 (18:53):
Then?
Speaker 2 (18:54):
No, that's not his character.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
Man, you know that's what the Satan will do, if
you will have the opportunity. Right. But even to say
than Jesus is not going to do that, to say
that himself, God is not going to do that, even
to say than himself, because he will be destroyed. The
book says, the fire is going to consume the roots,
(19:17):
the roots and the branches, that's right, right, so they
will be burnt up.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
Matter of fact, he says, here, Malachi, I believe it's
chapter four, chapter four. Looking at verse three, Oh, look
at verse one. For behold the day cometh that shall
burn as an oven, and all the proud yea, and
all that do wickedly shall be stubble, and the day
(19:41):
that cometh shall burn them up. Say it, the Lord
of hosts it shall leave them neither root nor branch
verse three. And ye shall tread down the wicked, for
they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet.
And the day that I shall do this, say it
the Lord of Hosts.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Yes, While we're talking about the destruction of the wicked,
is the event that happens at the end of the millennium.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
Of the end of the thousand years.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
And that's in Revelation twenty where it says in verse twelve,
I saw the dead, small and great stand before God,
and the books were open, and another book was open,
which is the book of Life, and the dead talking
about the wicked. Dead were judged out of those things
which were written in the books according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it,
and Death in Hell delivered up the dead which were
(20:27):
in them. And they were judged every man according to
their works. And Death and Hell were cast into the
lake of fire. This is the second death.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
Yeah, the second death. The world of God on the
eyes of God is soul ugly, so bad. It is
like a dying in the lake of fire. Yeah, and
is a fire for real? It mean the sory. How
do we know previous to those verses, The Bible said
it right there, verse eight, and I can you read it? Oh,
(20:58):
I'm sorry, Pastor Park. I'm going to go to you
in a minute. Go Ah.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
When the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed
out of his prison and shall go out to deceive
the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth,
Gog and Magog to gather them together to battle, the
number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
And they went up on the breadth of the earth,
encompassed the camp of the saints about and the beloved city,
and fire came down from God out of heaven and
(21:23):
devoured them.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
What the fire that came from God to the wicked?
After the thousand years he devoured them. He doesn't saying
that left them alive forever and ever and ever.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
Do you know that comes from a false doctrine of
the immortal soul? Say, we don't have an immortal soul.
Only God has immortality. We are mortal being.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
By the way, do you know from word? The popular
Christianity adopted.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Those teachings from paganism, from pagan play.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
Yeah, from pagan teachings. The immortality of the souls and
the eternal them burning on fire. It was adopted not
only to Christianity. If we pay a close look, even
to the Hebrew and the Old Testament, they absorbed. They
(22:16):
copy those teachings from the pagan nations and the devil
even today and to Christianity. You know, I remember there
was a time in my life, even preparing myself to
be a minister, so called a minister into some seminary,
(22:37):
I used to ask myself, I said, but what kind
of a god? I'm going to serve a god that's
going to be burning and burning forever? Mind? You know, people,
what kind of a god is there? That was a monster? No,
my friends, that's not the God of the Bible. No,
do not believe those pagan teachings that say than us
(23:00):
introduced into popular churches. Yes.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Revelation twenty one eight also describes the Second Death, where
it says, but the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable,
and murderers and horrormongers, and sorcerers and idolagers and all
liars shall have their part in the lake of fire,
which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
See Time of the time, the second death is being
presented as the death the consumation so been consumed, destroyed
without fire, that's gonna come from heaven, right, okay, and
call eternal because the consequences is eternal. There'll be no
(23:43):
other chance, no more people leaving. The only one that
we'll be leaving are the saints forever and ever ever.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
That's right, yes, And that brings us back to the
to the judging during this time of the millennium.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
Just if we go to before you go there.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
Yes, there's just one verse just to show that the
death is an eternal and that's Revelation five thirteen, where
it says every creature which is in heaven and on
earth and under the earth, and Satias are in the sea,
and all that are in them heard I saying, blessing
and honor and glory and power be unto him that
setteth upon the throne and onto the land forever and ever.
(24:19):
Every creature is praising God. There's none cursing God and screaming,
and in a hell fire forever. There will be a
time when sin is eliminated and the whole earth is
filled with God's love.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
No more suffering develops. Service no more lamingting, no more tears.
So that's a good point.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Brother, Propolation five, verse thirteen.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
That's a good point. It there will be people nashing
their teeth, you know, when you go to some well,
let me say, because any anybody can see it. When
I went to the Body Gud, you see pictures in there,
people in the so called eternal hell, gnashing of their teeth,
cursing Dante's you know what I mean, suffering in eternal brother, brother,
(25:08):
my friend fiction. That's not biblico. No, that's a pagan tradition.
That's right, you know, to make of our loving Father
God as a monster, it is, brother, I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
Yeah, I want to say coming back to the judgment.
During that time, the millennium, it says here in Daniel
chapter seven, verse twenty one to twenty two, and I
beheld the same horn, made war with the Saints and
prevailed against them until the Ancient of days came. That
is the God, our heavenly Father, and judgment was given
to the Saints of the most High, and the time
(25:42):
came that the Saints possessed the kingdom. So if you're
planning on being saved, there's going to be a time
that a millennium, that thousand years where you're going to
be judging the evil angels and judging the wicked. Now, brethren,
in order to be of that mind state, you first
us here. While you're here, now, you and I have
(26:03):
got to make the right judgments. Now we have to
choose Jesus. We have to choose to hate sin, choose
to give up our cardinal delights and and turn to Christ.
Let us make the right judgments now so you can
be trusted to be a judge during that time.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
I mean, and this judgment is not again to see
if the wicked will get a second chance. It's because
God is a god of love and justice. He wants
all of us, the whole universe, to know why those
thousands and millions and millions of people are going to
be this joy not because it chose, not because God
(26:41):
chose for them to die, but because they are reaping
their own choices. So, my friends, as were close today,
let's all come to Christ. Let's come to the world
of God and make the decision for what is right.
Make the decision to follow Jesus, bite the consequences. May
(27:02):
God bless you all.
