Speaker 1 (00:00):
Reading. Welcome, my friends. You're listening to the Voice of
the Eternal Gospel, a radio program brought to you by
the Eternal Gospel minist founded in nineteen eighty two by
Seven Day Adventist believers. This is a Christian program dedicated
to bring to you the prophetic fulfillment, warnings and revelations
(00:25):
of the ad time and to promote the advancement of
Christ's character in your life. I am Pastor praphile Peres,
and I invite you to have a word of prayer.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Heavenly Father, we desperately need to understand the warnings of prophecy.
But first, Dear Lord, we need to be established that
your word is right. And so Lord, as we study
this study today the word of the Living God, we
ask that you will make it clear for us from
the Bible. In Jesus name, we pray Amen.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Well past the parks. I want to welcome you again
you to our studio over here, and brother Patrick, same way.
I'm very happy, hey, since the last time that we
were doing this recording over here, by God's grace, I
want to give the news out across the land of
(01:23):
the United States that you are now the officially the
German or President of the General Assembly, make up with you.
I know that's a great responsibility. As you remember, I
was there when the election took place. I just want
to announce it over here. Yeah. I know you're still
(01:46):
a young man, but I know that our God will
give you wisdom understanding to lead the General Assembly of
the Free seven events across the world, around the world.
May God be with you, my brother, my friend, and
my brother Patrick. You and me have come already quite
(02:10):
some time together. By Gus grace. You also engage into
the Three Angels and to the work of the Three
Angels messages and got some publications and working hands to
hand also with the Eternal Gospel ministry. I praise Card
for that. I want to you know, express openly how
(02:35):
appreciative I am to have you, know, brethren like you
Hm associated with with our ministry. As you pray earlier.
We are going to present today about the Word of
(02:55):
the Living Guard and why we're chosing this topic. If
I will ask you, my brother Patrick, is there a
need today to explain to the people out there? Yes,
the Bible must be the most relevant book for today.
How can you put in few words that question?
Speaker 3 (03:17):
Well, it's the same reason that the Bible has always
been relevant for any day, and that is it's the
only thing that doesn't change. It sources from God in heaven.
We can trust it, we can put our faith in it.
It can change our lives. Amen, it can give us
power to overcome sin that we are helpless without the
word of God.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Yes, wow, that's enough. That's a really good reason. That's
the part.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
And just to add to that, if I even may
add to that beautiful answer, it also warns us of
things to come. Yes, And so this is why the
study of prophecy in this most trusted book is vital
for every human being on this plant yeat.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Today is very popular to hear that the world that
the Bible it was just put together by some people
that didn't have too much to do, you know, Or
it's not literal the word of God. Who we hear
even great religious leaders saying those things. But to the
(04:22):
true Christian we can say it is the word of God. Indeed,
isn't it? Yes, sir, But let's go ahead and give
some of the reason in the Bible itself that we
find how we should treat this sacred book. Yes, okay. Second,
tim Chapter three were sixteen and seventeen. Let's go ahead.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Yes, the Bible says all scripture is given by inspiration
of God and is profitable for doctrine. The word doctrine
means teaching, so the Bible, so the Bible is saying
here or God is saying that this book is good
for teaching, to be taught by for doctrine.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
For doctor in the world is good. Because many people
today again are trying to tell us that doctrine is
not important. The doctrine, you know, But but no, the
Bible said doctrine is important. That Jesust doctrine because it's
a teaching that's right. The apostles doctrine because it's teaching right,
(05:28):
and what else.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
I mean, if you don't have doctrine, then you don't
have any book. Every book teaches something, and so we
can't get rid of it and make and spiritualize the Bible.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
In our minds, we have an understanding of truth. Truth
is is doctrine. Truth is where doctrine teaches truth, and
different truths are the timbers and the the beams in
our in our mind of the structure of the understanding
of truth, which is very important Okay, go ahead.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
But the next thing is says says the Bible is
good for reproof. What is that reproof means? It tells
us if we are wrong, It tells us if we
go in the wrong way. So the Bible is good
for that, for reproof. But then it doesn't just leave
you there. They'll just tell you that you're going the
wrong way or you're wrong. It says it's good for correction.
(06:18):
So now it gives us the correction, tells us how
to get back on the right way, on the right right,
that's right, on the right track.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Excellent.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
And then the next thing it says, it says it's
good for instruction in righteousness. So it tells us what
is the right thing to do in the sight of God.
So if you're looking for what is the right thing
to do, and many people are struggling with that, Lord God,
I just want to know what the right thing is
for me to do in my life or my different
(06:47):
situations in life. Well, the Bible is telling you that
this book is there for that.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
So instead of going to my minister or my church,
I should go through the world of God.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
You should prove if it is true that's right you
should always go to the Word of God first, and
then it's okay to go to someone else as minister
and everything, but you always have to measure what they
say by the word of God.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
So we should be clear here even this program should
be tested not by what a church say about it
or a ministry a minister will say about this program,
but what the Bible says.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
That's all right.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
We should be reminding our radio listeners across the land
to go to the Bible and to prove if the
things that we're teaching here are so Yes for the biddle.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
From what Pastor Marlowe read about the Bible, how it
corrects us, reproves us, gives instruction and righteousness. It shows
that the Bible. Without the Bible, we would be in
total darkness.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
And the Bible says that we have all gone astray,
and so we need the Word of God. We need
to read it every day. It's like our spiritual food. Woo.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Could that be then that we see so much violince,
so much, you know, so much chaos. There's chaos all
over the world that's right, created by the enemy, you
know I Satan, and created by men. And could that
be that we have forgotten the.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
Bible, definitely, Definitely, you have another. The more we leave
off the Bible, it's like going into chaos. But God's
God's word has power to get us back into order.
First two, Peter says, for prophecy came not in old
time by the will of man, but holy men spake
(08:38):
as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Amen.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
So it's not man's words that the Bible is. It's
the word of God.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
That's right.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
So it's it's not tradition, the inspired by the Holy Ghost.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
See well, tradition, tradition comes from man and so, but
God's saying, correction comes from here, from this word. So
if if a man tradition or a certain sector religion
is it just goes by tradition and is against it
is not established by the Bible, you can know that
that tradition is not from God.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
I said, wonderfact, Jesus spoke but strongly about those people
that were following tradition. He says in the Book of
Matthew fifteen nine. In vain they worship being.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
So teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Right, So
we have to be careful that we have to be careful.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
So another thing says is that now, first of all,
we know that is evident that every human being, the listeners, ourselves,
we all know that we are not born perfect. We
are not perfect, we are not perfect at all.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
Actually, spiritually we're born dead.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
That's correct. But notice what the Bible also is given
for it says in two Timothy, chapter three, verse seventeen.
He says, all these things were given by from the scriptures.
Why that the man of God may be perfect, a
man thoroughly furnished onto all good works. So God is saying,
is possible for you, unperfect people to be perfect? And
(10:13):
how do you do it? Is from this Bible.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
Amen, following the teachings and the commandments of.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
The Bible, right, allowing yourself to be reproved, allowing yourself
to be corrected, allowing yourself to receive instruction and righteousness.
If you do that, if you humble yourself before God
and you study His word, you can be perfect. Through
Christ Jesus and the text that you read.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
My brother Patrick, the reason that we can see that
we are living in the end time is because we
have seen the event, the prophetic events taking place exactly
the way the Bible expressed it.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
Yes, different prophets gave lines of prophecy that began in
their day, and that line of prophecy would extend all
the way to the time of Christ second coming, the
end of the world.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
Wow, the listeners out there, if you want to know
the future, the real future, get into the Bible, yes,
or follow this program right getting into the Bible.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Another very important point about the Word of God was
that there was someone in the Bible called the Word
that the Word of God points to, and that was
in John one, verse one. It says in the beginning
was the Word. The Word was with God, the Word
was God. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us,
John one, verse fourteen. That was Jesus Christ. And so
(11:35):
all the Word of God points to Jesus Christ, who
saves us from our sins.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
And I know we have presented this in previous program,
but I mean history is a fulfillming of prophecy. I mean,
didn't God reveal how the Roman Empire was going to
come out about seven hundred years before topping. Didn't got
reveal about power that was going to come out of
(12:01):
the Roman Empire about a thousand years before the hobbits
right on and on, so it's unbelievable. And one other
things that brought me, as a matter of fact, into
this study is the Bible. What's prophecy?
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Yes, and I think there's over one hundred different prophecies
pointing to the true Messiah, which was Jesus Christ. And
that's how we know Jesus is the true Messiah because
the prophecy he has filled them. He fulfilled them all perfectly.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
And one thing is interesting is that there are thousands
of words plural in the Bible, but the Bible calls
it the word singular. Why because all of these words
are in harmony. So it's just just the word, that's
all it is. And there's only one source that's right,
So just God, that's right.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
So let's move on. How the God revealed this truth
to the prophet? How do you reveal it? Because because
I gain the people that says that tried to try
to really kill the Bible is thinking that they are
wise by the way, the Bible called those people foolish. Okay,
but they said that people, you know, they didn't have
(13:14):
anything to do. Or there's some people claim that they
were the one, you know, that got the permission from
God to bring the Bible to us. No, how did
the Bible came to us?
Speaker 3 (13:27):
But God was speaking to Moses and Aaron and Mary.
I'm in numbers twelve or six. He says, hear now
my words. If there be a prophet among you, I
the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision,
and will speak unto him in a dream.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
I mean. So, it's not a church, it's not a
man that will give these messages. The reason that we
get the Bible today is not because a church or
a group of men gave it to us. No, no, no,
it was the Bible says it was brought to us
by God.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
That's right, and that's an important point. I'm glad you
brought that point out from that text. The listeners need
to understand that that he says, I the Lord will reveal.
God is the one that gives the message. So when
people say, well man wrote the Bible, not really God.
According to what we just read, you know, they may
have been the physical person to put it on paper,
(14:24):
the instrument, the instrument that was used, but the thoughts
were from him. The Bible is very clear.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
See I'm so happy to present myself even openly in
programs for this that I'm a fundamentalist on the Bible, okay,
even though you.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Know that's the Protestant principle the Bible and the Bible.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Only the solar is cretura.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Revelation talks about how God gave talks to man. Revelation one,
verse one, the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God and
gave unto him Jesus to show unto his servants things
which must shortly come to pass. And he sent and
signified it by his angel onto his servant John. And
so John was the prophet. God spoke revealed Jesus. He
(15:14):
spoke through Jesus, because Jesus is the mediator between God
and man. And then Jesus through the prophets to man.
And so it's a way for God to be in
touch with man without destroying him.
Speaker 1 (15:30):
One more little advice, Please, our friends out there, don't
go through the Internet trying to see if the Bible
is inspired. It's through the Good Man has been putting
good things in the Internet. But there's so many evil
people pretending, and they are even religious people, making really
(15:54):
you of the world of God. And they go through
the Internet. I said this because the time I hear
good people saying, oh a pastor, look what I found
out in the Internet, Like if the internet is infallible, No,
the internet is full of opinions, the opinions man opinions.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
Yes, in order to know that the Word of God
is true, we can't go We have to believe it.
And the way to really know that it is true
is to claim a promise that's in the Bible for
victory over sin. For some area in your life where
you need victory, go to the Word of God. Claim
a promise like sin shall not have dominion over you
(16:37):
Romans six fourteen, and many other promises. Believe that word
and you will receive the power in that word to
give you the strength to overcome that sin, and you
will know that the Bible is the Word of God.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
If you sincerely, friends that are listening, if you sincerely
want to find out if this God of the Bible
is real, and if he cares about you, put it
to the test. Sincerely ask him, and you will see
that He shall reveal himself to you. I mean he
reveals himself to even the little child that has this sincere.
(17:11):
I remember one time. My little son, he was a
little boy at that time, a little boy, you know what.
We were walking and we were going to it to church.
One day. We were walking and he said, it's just
something simple like this made me think it's nothing, but
for him it was powerful. He said wow. He must
have been about five years old. He said, it's really
(17:33):
cloudy out here. I wish the sun was out. I said,
you wish the sun was out? He said yeah. I said,
you know what you need to do. Then he said
what I said, Pray to God. He cares about He
cares about you. Ask him. Ask him.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
We were walking in the streets.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
I said, I said, ask him if he will make
the sun shine for you. And he said okay. And
he closed his eyes and he held my hand and
we walked and he prayed and he asked, God, please
let the sun come out. When he opened this eye eyes,
the sun was out. God cares for the sincere pray
of this little child.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Yeah. That's good, and I'm glad that you brought that
little testimony over here. But let's be careful because atheists.
So I speak with them often, you know, because they
call and they come to our meetings. Again, pretending that
very intelligence. And one of the so called tests that
(18:26):
they give you is, okay, if you believe that God exists,
ask something now and see if it's going to do it.
Let me say that there's evil that is presumption. And
in the Bible we see that the one that used
presumption was the devil itself. So be careful with that, right.
(18:48):
But what you brought, brother Patrick is important. Many times
people don't want to get into the Bible because they
are afraid that the Bible is going to bring so
thing that it's going against their evil practice in their life.
But character a cherish saying, you know that they want
(19:12):
to keep into tradition okay. And many times we hear
people saying, oh no, no, what you want is change
me from my religion. Wait a minute, I'm not trying
to change you from your religion. God wants to bring
you out of tradition into the world. We got you.
(19:33):
See what I mean. There's a difference. So the first
thing I believe before we come to the Bible is
to acknowledge our condition. Our condition is a best parate condition,
and spiritual speaking, we are dead to sin. Okay, we
are evil people, But God can transform us into evil
(19:55):
people into children of God.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
Yes, some prayers God won't always answer immediately, but there
is only there is one prayer that God will always answer,
and that is prayer for victory over sin. And Second
Peter one, verse four says, whereby are given unto us
exceeding great, exceeding great, and precious promises that by these
he might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped
(20:21):
the corruption that is in the world through the last.
Speaker 1 (20:23):
Isn't that a good news? That's right? Isn't that a
good news? Friends? Are there we can be transformed by
the Word of God, sanctified through thy truth. Thy ward
is the true man. Isn't that what seventeen seventeen?
Speaker 4 (20:39):
So?
Speaker 1 (20:40):
And how this sacred Bible, the Word of God has
been preserved? Who has been preserved? That's another thing too,
because people claim that they have been the preserver of
the Bible. No, I believe if it wouldn't because of God,
they wouldn't been this. They would destroy the world of God.
(21:00):
So many people that claim that they have been preserving
the world of God. No, the same people, the same
institution that say that they are preserved. If God would
have allowed, they would have destroyed it. But look how
the Bible says in the Book of Proverbs, please please.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
Also some the traulp Yes six and seven, it says,
the words of the Lord are pure words as silver
trine in the furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou
shall keep them a Lord, Thou shall preserve them from
this generation forever.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
Wow, who preserved the Bible?
Speaker 3 (21:38):
God, God, God.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
Don't pay attention to anybody when they tell you. Most
of the time when they say those things, those people
that they have been preserving the Bible, they have been
the most people that have been trying.
Speaker 5 (21:51):
To get away with the Bible to the people. They
even prevented the Bible coming to the common people like
us for over a thousand years.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
So God has been preserving the man.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
Yes, the Bible began to be written with Moses about
fifteen hundred BC and ended with John in about one
hundred a d. So it appeared over sixteen hundred years.
God preserved his word. And the Dead Sea scrolls that
were discovered showed that that that the what we have
today is exactly what was written before Christ was born.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
When did that discovery took place?
Speaker 3 (22:30):
That was that was in the nineteen fifteen.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
Sixty eight seventy. Yeah, yes, yes, so praise God for that.
Praise the Lord that today we have discovery that for
sure what we got right now in reading a paper
form it was what God? What the old Man? Oh,
the Old Testament and the New Testament wrote in different form, Yes,
(22:56):
my brother.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
And in a practical form, friends, because you need to
experience God practically and experience his word practically. Jesus said,
he that cometh to me, I will in no wise
cast out. So that means if you come to Jesus
in prayer, like Pastor Perez mentioned that, some atheists came
and they say, well, if God is real, then you
tell him to do this and you pray to them
(23:18):
do well, that's not sincerity. So of course God is
not going He's not an entertainer. He's not just going on.
He's not a person that does magic tricks. Right, you're
not going to do that. The devil is the one
that does this. I mean, we just we just met
a guy last week knocking on doors. And this man
he told us, this poor man, he told us he
(23:38):
was a homosexual of about forty something years. And let
me tell you what he said, he knew, he knows
that what he's doing is wrong. He says, he knows
what the Bible is saying is true according to the
Word of God, according to the words I know.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Nowadays it's not even political corrected to say that that
is wrong. Right, but we can say what the Word
of God says is right and that it is not right.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
That's correct to right. And this man and this man
believes that he believes that what he's doing is wrong.
He absolutely believes, but he says, the poor guy, he says,
he says, but I know it's in me. I can't
stop this thing. And then he said he wanted to
go to God. He said he was baptized and everything.
And notice what it says what he said. He said
(24:21):
he thought that getting baptized would all of a sudden
change him. So the thing is he was looking for
an act that would change them instead of trusting in God,
you know, with a sincere heart. And so when you
come to God with a sincere heart, then you will
experience the miraculous changes that the Word of God reveals.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
Amen. Amen. Now, in the Book of Sons following the
same subject, about can the scriptures or the Word of
God be trusted. In the Book of Sons one nineteen
one sixty, can you read it? Place from the project.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
My word is true from the beginning, and every one
of thy righteous judgments and death forever.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
What did that Jesus said about the same topic, Matthew
twenty four thirty five?
Speaker 3 (25:08):
You read it, He says, heaven and earth shall pass away,
but my word shall not pass away.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Jesus in self servis you know? Can we see? Don't
we teach to the people that we should keep the
commandments commandments of God, including the fourth Commandment Saturday? Because
in one of the vibal worse that we use is
that one? That's right? Because Jesus says, my war cannot
(25:38):
be changed, the commandments of God cannot be changed, the
Bible cannot be changed, cannot be added. Amen, right, isn't
that true? Yes? Go ahead.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
That's why in the Book of Revelation, Jesus is called
the lamb slain from the foundation of the world because
back in before the foundation of the world, God and
Jesus planned the plan plan of salvation, that Jesus would
be the lamb. And once God speaks something, it's as
if it will nothing can change it. And so God's
(26:10):
Word can never change or take be taken away or
destroyed at all.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
People might think that they can change it, but that's
an evil act.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
Yes, listeners, I want you to know that God loves
you so much that He's not gonna pull a surprise
upon you and bring things upon you that's going to
surprise you. Notice what he says in Amus three seven
before we close. Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret onto his servants, the prophets.
So the Bible is saying that you have to read
(26:42):
the If you read the Word of God, then those
things will not come upon you as a surprise.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
But my dear brethren, we have to close to that.
For today. We're just going to remind you that the
Word of God is God's Word like it says, and
we must, by God's grace come with a humble heart, yes,
and say God, what do you want me to do? Yes, sir,
(27:09):
and please already, listeners, go to the Word of God,
and for sure you're going to be transformed from a
child of the devil to a child of God. May
God bless you all.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
