Am I a jerk on the show this morning? This
is Rich in Palm Beach Gardens wants to know if
he's a jerk. This is the talkback we got from Rich.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
Oh my gosh, No, I don't really think I'm a jerk,
but I think my wife sees it differently. See, her
car was having trouble. Happened to be her birthday. I'm
taking a look at things.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
Thought it was a starter. I took it to the shop,
I got it and paid for it. I came back,
I said, Bavis, I was taken care of. And by
the way, happy birthday. That's your birthday gift. And I
don't think that was the right thing to say, But
I don't think that was the wrong thing to say.
You know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
I'm going to say it was the wrong thing to
say because I'm learning more. I didn't really catch it
at the beginning of his talkback. Yeah, it sounds like
her car broke down on her birthday, and you know
that she was having drunk with.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
It to see if he could fix it, and he couldn't.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
So he managed to get it to the shop.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
And they fixed it, and he's like, here you go babe,
your car's fixed. By the way, that's your birthday present.
Happy birthday. Oh yeah, we're getting okala, Kevin says, jerk squared.
That's a necessity, not a present. Let's see on my
phone I got I'm gonna have to put my glasses
on here. We got this from our friend Eddie. He says, Sorry,
that guy's a total jerk. That would be like if

I bought my wife a frying pan for her birthday,
she would smack me in the head with it. Sorry,
that's not gonna work. He's a jerk. And then Wellington
John says wife's birthday gift taking her car to the
shop and fixing it is what husbands do. What if
she went to the doctor and he paid the medical bill,
would that be her birthday gift?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
These two are in for trouble.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Uh oh oh, what do we have? On Facebook Live?
Pretty much everybody call him a jerk. I don't have nobody.
I think I'm the only one comment in his corner.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
A single guy in his corner? Uh did you read
kevi text here?

Speaker 5 (02:01):
Well that said that's a perfect example of him taking
a nice action and losing all credit for it by
opening his mouth.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Oh yes, and let's see some of the comments we
got on Facebook Live. Didn't somebody say, hey, look, if
you're going to do that, put some roses on.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Tom said, that's actually kind of that's smart. Yeah, it
still don't think it's a birthday.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
That he should have put some roses in the front seat.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Yeah, and Dana says, at least take her out for dinner. Yeah.
I think it's going to be pretty easy to get
a verdict. Yeah on this.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Yeah, Rich, you're a jerk, because you know he he
didn't have a birthday present ready for her. It sounds
like that's what somebody else said on a text. There
was kind of a long text, but it said, yeah,
he didn't have anything for her. Obviously he didn't have
a gift for her, and he didn't put any thought
into it. So that's probably why he said, oh, you.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Know what, your car's fixed.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
Happy birthday, Yeah, Rich, Next time. The lesson is, next time,
let the car be broke. Okay, let the car be broke, Yeah,
and get her some flowers or something instead, get her
a dinner and say you can't get to work, but
here you go.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
It's much better.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Curtis can just appear because you're not going to be
spending any time with her.

Speaker 5 (03:12):
Marriage is frustrating and it's not additive to your life
at all. This is awful.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
This is uh.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
This is the reason I think our show is the
reason Curtis is not married or in a relationship.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
He learns so much, definitely from working with us. He's like,
I do not want I want with that mess.
