Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Moon Saturday Morning Show. Welcome to everyone
except Ashley joining us on Facebook live on the Cool
one O five to five Facebook page. She's in time out.
I put her in time out. Why she's still commenting?

Speaker 2 (00:13):
She cares about your mental.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Hell, that's okay, worried about you?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
All right?

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Update. Dave and Boca won Battle of the Birds this morning.
He got his tickets to see Rick Springfield and Richard Marx,
but he wanted to give the tickets to Beth because
she had mentioned on the call that she does computer
work but she got laid off. Yeah, she doesn't have
a job, and so he said, I would like to
give her my tickets.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
So just nice of him, but I know he says
he's not a nice guy.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Yeah, well he's not, Beth. He's not a nice guy.
But he wants to give you the tickets. So if
you're still listening, you hung up. But he wants to
give you the tickets to see Rick Springfield and Richard
Marks at the Cravi Center. So all you have to
do is call us back. All right, let's move on.
We got this on the talk back. If you listen
on the iHeartRadio app, you can tap on the red
microphone and you can send us a mess here in

(01:00):
the studio.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
This is it is.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
It's Natalie and West Palm Beach and she needs some advice.
So this is what we've got.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Okay, So my kid is amazing. He is a senior
and he's a straight a's and he's an amazing kid.
But here's what I'm complicking about. He wants to have
his girlfriends over for sleepover after prom, as like a
post prom thing, you know, because they're going to be out,

(01:29):
they're going to be tired and all that stuff. I
am so conflicted because I don't know he's he's just
a good kid and he's never been in trouble. Really,
you know, I don't know the same thing's going to happen.
But I want them to be safe, you know, after prom.
I just I don't know what to do. I need
some advice.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Oh, a couple of things. I can only imagine the
amount of stars I would see around my head if
I asked my mom out when I was in high school. Yeah,
she wouldn't even answer vocally. She would just flock in
side that question. I wouldn't even Yeah, my god, So
sleepover after prom I.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Guess, are her parents okay with it?

Speaker 1 (02:14):
No, we don't get that side.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I'm gonna say, hey, be fine with it if you're
ready to be a grandma at an early age. So
if you ready to be a grandma right now, you
go ahead.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Oh don't kids just get you know, hotel rooms or
something you know normally or.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
I didn't have a problem. I don't know what they do.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
You didn't have a prom, so.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
I know that didn't happen with me.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Yeah, I know some of my friends did that, you know, hotel.
They'd get a hotel room, you know, and your parents
were okay with that. Parents. Well, no, no, no, the
parents didn't know. They didn't know. It's different now, it's different.
Back then you'd pay cash or whatever, so they wouldn't know.
I mean, we just hung out. They allowed us. My
parents allowed us to. We're going bowling all night, so okay, fine,
we'll see you in the morning. After prom, we'd go

(03:01):
bowling or something, you know, to an all night bowling place.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
You know.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Have the tracking technology they got all these kids now
they can't be sneaking around like that.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
But Natalie wants to know, I mean, should she let
her son's girlfriends stay over after prom. I guess they'd
come back from the prom and have a sleepover. Uh yeah,
I say, go for it.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
But I told her, I told her what the downside is,
so read Grandma. She ready for the B G G
Grandma whatever, Grandmama, ourselves.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
I wouldn't say. If their excuse is well, we're gonna
be really tired blah blah blah, then one of the
parents should stay up and say, well, you bring her
here and I'll drive her home.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
You know, the son's gonna be like, yeah, I'm gonna
be tired, all right, that's yeah.
