Speaker 1 (00:00):
Thank you so much for kicking off your Monday workday
with the moment Sally Morning Show. Hope you had a
fantastic weekend, moms. Hope you had an excellent Mother's Day. Yeah,
and you got some peace and quiet or some nice gifts. Curtis.
You know we call Sally the cat Lady, caretaker of
many cats, and so far so on. I could so
see this happening to her, But please don't let this

(00:22):
happen to you.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Sixty eight year old woman in Switzerland was in court
last week accused of repeatedly feeding Leo, her neighbor's cat,
over a ten month period. So this woman lives in
the same building as Leo, and she hasn't just been
feeding Leo, she has let him into her apartment and
she even added a cat flap to her door so

(00:46):
Leo could come and go as he pleases. Okay, So
Leo lives in this building. His owner lives in this building,
but he likes it better over at this woman's house,
and so Leo goes to her house. And so anyway,
the owner of Leo was not cool with this, and
things escalated over those ten months. You know, this was
a ten month period.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Stop trying to steal my cat?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Will you be a better cat parente?

Speaker 3 (01:10):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I mean obviously this person is letting the cat out, which.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
She shouldn't be. Su Yeah, Leo.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
See the big issue is he likes it better over
at her place than you know, so he doesn't want
to go home. And under Swiss law, cats are other
people's property and systematic feeding and giving a home to
another person's cat is considered unlawful appropriation. Brother, this woman
is facing several fines which have exceeded five thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
It's ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah, No, he's in the wrong for letting the cat out.
You don't let them out. They stay in people casts.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
You over here luring the cast even like it's her cast.
You know it's not her damn cat.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
She even put a cat flap on the door.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
He didn't want this. Keep the cat in your price.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Maybe that's not the way it works for him, Sally,
you know some people let their cats out.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Yeah, that don't mean you need to go ahead and
introduce a new door for the cat. You don't do that, Curtis,
this is gonna be my life soon. I can see
us in court because Sally fed a cat.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I see this happen
