On Sally Morning Show. We were talking about our trip
to the post office yesterday, which was lovely.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
You know, we get up there with like, I think
five packages we had, yeah, four we were mailing to
people here in the United States. One package was international.
In that international package, I looked at I was looking
at the price and Sally couldn't see she didn't have
her glasses on, I guess or whatever. And I said,
you realize it's going to cost us like like sixty
or seventy bucks to mail this package out of the country.

And she was like, no, that's no. I think you
may have dropped an f bomb right there in the
post office where everybody could hear it.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
I don't care.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Yeah, And I was like, yeah, so.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
I mean we haven't mailed packages in quite a while.
The price was unreal.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
So for the four packages that were mailing in the States,
I think that was almost forty bucks. Wow, almost forty bucks.
And this is not with priority or anything. This is
just like, hey, it'll get there on Saturday. Sticker shock
yesterday Sticker Shock did. But yeah, we get up there
and so we have the international package and they're like,
did you fill out the form and I'm like what form?

And so I was like, now, I'm not going to
try to do that here. I'll just take the form
with me. So, but on the price board up there,
it's going to cost us, I believe, fifty sixty to
seventy dollars to may on a gift that's worth seventeen bucks.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yeah. No, when they when they come back to town
in January. There you go.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Who said they spent one hundred and thirty one dollars.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
We have Sandra here. Yeah, she said she sent something
to Australia that was two pounds, two pounds, two pounds,
that she had to spend one hundred thirty one bucks
to ship it.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
One hundred and thirty one And wasn't it for somebody
in the military.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Oh, I don't know. She didn't say what it was.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Okay, I should get a discount, of course. But our
packages are not heavy, mind you, not heavy at all.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
I just I guess it's been a long time since
I've gone inside a post office and tried to pay
for something.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Okay, we have some text here. It says check FedEx
home delivery. They say that's cheaper FedEx home delivery.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Okay, Uh, someone at this suggesting a pirateship dot com.

Yeah, they have discounted rates and they give you lots

You never heard of that before.

No, No, it sounds like it may or may not
make it there.

I don't know. Yeah, the pirate part kind.
