Speaker 1 (00:00):
Thanks for kicking off your Monday with the Mow and
Sally Show. Welcome to the eight o'clock hour. My name
is Moe. She's my wife and co host, caretaker of Cats,
Pet Mom Sally. Hello, and that guy over the area's producer, Curtis.
What's up is? I'm kind of distracted by Facebook Live
this morning cool on Facebook page where Linda Brooks is
joining us from North Carolina, she said they had an

(00:21):
earthquake over the weekend. Yes, she said, hailstorm on Friday,
earthquake on Saturday. I think that earthquake started in Tennessee,
that's what they're saying. Yeah, what see, I don't think
of earthquakes happening in that part of the country. Growing up,
earthquakes happened out in California. That's where the earthquakes are.
But yeah, that's crazy, scary, really is Well. We're under

(00:45):
a floodwatch today. We need the rain because we just
don't need it all it. We need rain, but we
don't need the crazy that goes with the crazy. The
amount of accidents this morning. We saw two between PGA
Bolevard and forty fifth Street this morning southbound, and then
there was one northbound that we saw, so that's yeah, yeah,
is that right? Oh my gosh, that is right? Yeah. Anyway,

(01:07):
and that was really early this morning, it got a
lot worse. Yeah, just to slow it down and be careful,
pay attention. All right, time for the educational portion of
today's program. And now it's time for random facts. Okay,
pop pop hasn't been right this morning, so I'm hoping
these are good. Might sound like I'm making stuff up here.

(01:33):
We go, get the Google ready, all right? Random fact
number one? Did you know there's a fake McDonald's. You
knew this in the city of Industry in southern California
where they shoot all the commercials. It's just used for filming,

(01:54):
and most of the McDonald's ads you've seen were shot
in that building. I had no idea. Did you know that? Car?
I don't think I knew that either. I knew that's
a fake McDonald's. I guess that makes sense. Yeah, ran
In fact number two, approximately two percent of people have
a gene that makes it so their armpits don't smell
even without deodorant. Really yeah, well, sometimes I feel like

(02:17):
I could look at my armpits and they smell. I
was musty at one point. Yesterday, boy, I almost knocked
myself out right. I don't know where it came from.
I was getting my coffee and I woke up. Yeah,
the other ding, I was smelling like I'll do it.
I'm like, I didn't even do nothing. Yeah the other
day I got out of the shower and I was like,
I still didn't smell that guilty go wash again. Ran.

(02:44):
In fact number three, the first speeding ticket was given
out in eighteen ninety nine in Manhattan to a cab,
a cab driver that was going a blazing twelve miles
per hour in an eight mile an hour zone. First speeding. Yeah,
I was going twelve miles eight miles per hour. Sorry,

(03:06):
I think I've ran it too, that same cab on
the turnpike and it was finally ran. In fact number four.
In the seventeen hundreds and eighteen hundreds, squirrels were popular pets. Oh,
so that means our friend Norm who joins us on
Facebook Live, he's living in the eighteen hundreds because he
has squirrels, his pets born in the I mean they

(03:28):
actually he's he sent us videos squirrels in his kitchen
up in there eating nuts and stuff. That's a true story.
I call him the Mails. No white. It's right. This
has been today's edition of Rando. All right.

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
