Okay. So, a volunteer at a Michigan library found an
old wedding photo from the nineteen fifties inside a book,
and the facility was actually able to return this picture
to the couple's granddaughter. Sterling Heights Public Library set on
social media that the photo, labeled Frank and Joseph Rigliero,
was found inside a book donated to the libraries use books,
(02:00):
and the couple's granddaughter said, yep, those were my grandparents.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
And one of my childhood friends who I haven't spoken
to in years, tagged me in this post, and so
I read the post from the Sterling Heights Public Library
and she said she recognized my last name in it
and said, hey, are these some family members of yours?
My dad and I had never seen this exact photo before.
I was very close with my grandparents. They were just
the best grandparents ever.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Yeah, that photo was taken in Detroit on September twenty sixth,
nineteen fifty three, and Sarah says, the photo is now
a family treasure.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Nice, is it?
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Really?
Speaker 2 (02:30):
It was stuck in a book? Yeah, wow, you know
what I just I'm switching gears here. You know what
I just heard someone they say they do this every
time they donate a book, they put a dollar bill
in the book. Oh so and someone finds it. It's
like a nice little surprise.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
My sisters used to do that when they donated, like
old purses.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
To put money in the purse, they would put a
penny in it. Oh, a pen on a dollar is better.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
Yeah yeah, well this was now this is for good love.
Well this was a long time.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
It was for okay, okay, okay, all right, yeah, but
