in our country and our state? Okay, one seventy four Alantras.
We're stole last year. We're stolen last year in Florida.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Why are you looking that up?

You never know.
Speaker 5 (01:24):
Yeah, every time we talk about it, you know, stolen
cars or something, I think about the guy who used
to work here, who drove the rattiest car I think
I've ever seen in my life. And he put the
club on it.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
On a steering wheel, like really no, a fender was
missing and then there was no, I don't think he
had a bumper and a fender was missing, and he
would put the club on his steering wheel.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
And it's like, dude, nobody wants your cars.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
You could leave the keys in it and leave it
running and no one would take it.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
Yeah.

True story.
Speaker 2 (01:56):

Speaker 5 (02:01):
Well, no, this comes out of Roanoke, Virginia, the city
where we met.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:05):
Yeah, a Ronoke, Virginia man got his wedding band back
after fifteen years. He lost it at a Christmas tree farm.
His name is Wayne. He said he got a tree
back in twenty ten and didn't realize that his wedding
ring had slipped off his finger until he dragged the
tree back to his truck. Of course, he searched the
tree farm and found nothing. He even came back the
(02:25):
next day with a metal detector fill nothing. But he
did tell the owner of Joe's Trees that they made
and they made a note of it and got like
his information, said, you know, if we come across it,
we'll let you know. They kept that note for fifteen years,
and they came across the ring last month and based
on the notes that they still had, they gave him
a call. Here's the owner of the farm. His name
(02:47):
is Darren, and of course the owner of the ring Wayne.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
She kept notes of anything that was lost and we
always put them on the bulletin board for a couple
of years, and as the years went on, we'd gather
them and put them on a stack and just hoping
that one day we'd find a later on a haystack.
This is a great bunch of people up here. I mean,
we love coming up here getting a tree, and I'm
just thankful for them that they, you know, kept that
note for fifteen years.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Is he even married to the same person fifteen years.
Speaker 5 (03:14):
What are we doing now that I don't know?
Speaker 1 (03:20):
It would be a great story, like I really don't
need that back, but we're no longer together.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yeah. No, I'm not saying that.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
How about you keep the ring and giving me a
Christmas tree.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
