the life of a customer who was choking at a
restaurant in Louisiana and get this, she's a high school student.
Her name is Madison Bridell. She says she was hanging
up Halloween decorations when a customer stood up from his
seat and signaled to her that he was choking. She said,
I just rushed over to him and gave him the
Heimlich maneuver. Right after that, I patted his back and

went back to hanging more decorations. Wow. She says, this
is not her first time performing the Heimlich.

I rushed over to him and I gave him the
heim Lich remover and then went after that, I pat
his back and went to the back and finished my ship.
The first time I did the Heimlich remover was when
my dad was choking and he kind of walked me
through it.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Wow. Her dad she saved her dad's life.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
So she was just like, okay, let me go say
this man life, yeah, and then let me go get
back to where you like, get out of here.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
And another waitress, Wue was was hanging up decorations with her,
said I wouldn't have known what to do. She was
so happy that Madison was there. She goes, I wouldn't
have known. She's a teenager and she's a teenager and
she's but basically, at a restaurant, you should know how.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
You should know how to do that.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
But but I think everybody should know how. Everybody probably should. Yeah,
I mean, did you learn how to do that anytime?
Not officially I didn't, but I know how to did
in high school.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Yeah, you know how to do it? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:30):
All right, I mean, go took on something so we
can test it out. I think we should.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
We need some hits on Instagram this week, So let's
put that video up maybe later. Curtis giving me the
Heimlich Please don't do that. She's a teenager and she's
basically saved two lives already.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yeah.

I hope he left a good tip, just saying, oh yeah,
well that's true at least twenty percent.
