I have good news, Okay, Well, I mean, I guess
the city of pome Beach Gardens is trying to make
me fat because we live in the gardens and we're
going to Sicilian Oven, like what twice a week now
to eat pizza.

Yeah, we had that the other day.

Speaker 2 (00:37):

Speaker 1 (00:37):
But now, did you know that pom Beach Gardens is
getting a Van Lewin ice cream store?

I did hear about that.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
You're the ones that always have the fun flavors.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Fun flavors. Yeah, downtown Palm Beach Gardens and.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Is it really okay? Yeah, that's dangerously close to our house.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
They're going to be celebrating the grand opening on Thursday
with one dollar scoops from one to three pm. So
I'm going to roll up in there with about twenty
dollars and have about twenty scoops.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
I'm sure they have a limit.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
I'm sure people, I'm sure they people like you probably
have to amend this story and say, hey, hold on,
while we have a limit.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Don't get some ice cream security out there too, just
in case.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
I didn't read about that ice cream security.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Yeah, yeah, no, so that's great. I'm just gonna be
fat and palm beach guards, you know. Love it all right, Sally, So,

Wish this would happen to me. You hear about people
go into thrift stores or secondhand stores and they buy
us like a picture at a garage sale for three
dollars and then yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
For ten million dollars.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Well it wasn't ten million, but a very savvy California
woman got more than she bargained for when she paid
five dollars for a spooky mask at a local goodwill
store Britney care purchase. Actually, what she purchased was a
vintage ghost face mask made famous by those Scream movies, Okay,

worth hundreds of dollars. At first, she didn't think.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
The mask was much, but then.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
She spotted the fun World authentication on it, so she thought,
I'll just stick it on eBay on an auction and
see what happens. Listen to what happened.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
I put it on an eBay auction starting at ninety
nine cents because A I don't know about these things
and B I'm not here to pray scouge. And with
an hour left of auction, it jumped to seven hundred
and the winning bid was seven hundred and eighty.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Dollars five bucks she paid.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
For So was it like in the movie or well, it.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Turned out this is kind of interesting. Those you know,
the screen masks, I know what you're talking about. Yeah,
they actually produced those masks five years before the movie
came out. Oh, this was one of the original original masks.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
That wasn't like circulation interesting? Yeah, all right, I still
feel like she got low bolt.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Yeah, you think she should have gotten more.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Yeah, because she didn't know what was going on, she
probably should have got somebody to do it for.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
That's true. I may have gotten more, but yeah, but
seven hundred dollars on a five dollars investment mass.

Was from the first production run in nineteen ninety one. WHOA,
So you like her, you might have been able to
get more.
