line of people trying to talk to him, so only
got to say a few words to him.

That's fair.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
I'm sure you're invited if you want to conquer, All right, Sally.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
So this is cool. BuzzFeed shared a list of twenty
wholesome posts that proved humanity is not as doomed as
we thought it might be. So it's just a list
of twenty things. I mean. It varies from people doing
good deeds, like a woman who knits hats every year
for a homeless shelter.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
That's kind of out of character for buzz Seed. Yeah,
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (03:00):
And there's a video of a dog seeing snow for
the first time. It's just uplifting stuff. But one of
the stories that they focused on is a doorman in
Long Island, New York. His name is Joe Gallard. Every year,
he collects thousands of toys for Toys for tok.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Backpacks are something I'm always in need of, sleeping bags
now that the widges here, if you have cults, if
you make it worth my while, I'll stop at your
building and pick it up.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
If you leave it with a doorman, or you want
to meet me on the street one day and listen.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Is just to show you I can't even drive.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
That's how much stuff's in my front seat here, and
it's all gonna.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
Go to such a good cause. Yeah, he collects it
for Toys for tot Nice. And he's been doing this
for a year. And now what drives Joe? He said,
as a kid he never had a Christmas. Oh, so
he wants to make sure other kids do. Nice.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Good guy.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Yeah, great drive
