Speaker 1 (00:00):
That's my wife and co host caretaker of Cats on
this Global Cat Day. That's Sally and producer Curtisay. So
we're fifteen days away from Halloween, and I feel like
I'm starting to get into the Halloween spirit now. I
actually watched The Shining last night, Jack Nicholson Shelley the Ball.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
It is long.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Yeah. I actually fell asleep and then I finally woke
up and I was like, Okay, is this still on?

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I was watching creepy stuff last night too. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I was watching a VHS VHS know that one. But yeah, interesting.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Well, I'm starting to get into the spirit. And then
I read this story this morning. You know, the baseball
playoffs are going on Major League Baseball. Two Dodgers players
say they will not stay at the team's hotel when
they're in Milwaukee playing the Brewers because it's supposedly haunted.
It's called the Fister, and it has a reputation as
Baseball's most haunted hotel.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Old players.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
I don't know, but two of the players are like, nope,
not staying there.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Well, so there's Mookie Betts who refused to stay there
on the Dodgers. Yeah, and there's also I hope I
don't butcher. This guy's name Dodgers outfielder t s Scar
ti Oskar or something like that. Hernandez.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
He's an outfielder.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Yeah. He doesn't want to stay there because his wife
won't stay there. He's like, I don't believe in ghosts whatever,
but my wife should goes he does.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Yeah, but it has a reputation.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
It's it was opened in eighteen ninety three.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Well, yeah, it's haunted. It's definitely haunted. Anything that old's
got to be haunted, you think so. Yeah, And Curtis,
you were just telling me that you have some friends
who think they have haunted furniture.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yeah, they think some of their stuff might be haunted
because they just moved in there and it was like
the furniture came the house.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Yeah, so they bought the house furnished. Yeah, but why
the furniture does it?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Does it guess? Old and creepy and spooky's yeah, so
and it gives bad bye. Are they going to get
rid of it or not any tom Zoom, I don't
think it's probably it's probably more you know, hassle to
get rid of it.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
But still, if it's haunted, all right, leg about it.
Nothing's happened yet, not yet. Sally thinks there's a haunted
box in our office office. Yeah, it's creepy looking box,
and she thinks it's haunted.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
So she put it.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
She put it in a box and put it away.
She put the box in the box so she can't
see it because she thinks it's haunted. I really do.
So that's my question this morning. I'm wondering if there's
anyone listening who Well, first of all, you live in
a haunted house, or you think you live in a
haunted house, or if you have haunted furniture, if you
have a piece of furniture that you think is haunted,

(02:50):
because isn't it Billy Bob Thornton, who has a fear
of antique furniture, he thinks it's haunted or something.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
I had not heard that about him.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
I have.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
I had heard that about it.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
It creeps him out. I don't think he'll be in
a room with antique furniture. So that's my question. Uh,
is your house haunted or do you feel like you
have haunted furniture? Okay, if you have a story for
