A right, Let's get the hot mess Monday in plain English,

this is a mess. If you've had a hot mess

You know, we'll start with us. We literally have a
hot mess. On Saturday, I came home from golf and
Sally said, I know you didn't have a great day
on the golf course. And I hate to spring this
on you, but I think something's going on with our refrigerator.
And I open up the freezer part and yeah, there's
stuff just dripping down, just me and yeah. And then

I opened the fridge part. Nothing feels cold enough. It's weird.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
A refrigerator is weird because the bottom half of the door.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Seems cold, seems cold, top half not so not so much.

So we don't know what's going on.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
I pulled it out, and you know, I cleaned everything,
all the events and.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Stuff, stuff. You could see, all.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
The stuff I could see unplugged. Yah, unplugged it, plug it,
plugged it back in.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
How long did you leave it unplugged for long? You think?
I don't know? Usually they said, just like, I don't know,
like two minutes or something.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Oh no, I didn't do that not that long, No,
maybe thirty seconds maybe, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
That's probably not the issue anyways.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Probably not. So anyway, we get the thing back in.
It's a really tight fit. It is a fit back in,
and look, it's trying to work, but it's not working,
and so we don't know what to do. We don't know,
if you know, we should have someone come and do
a diagnostic test on it. That's like eighty bucks just
to get somebody to walk in.

There, to walk into your house, and.

Then they could tell you, well, that's going to be
like two hundred three hundred, four hundred, five hundred dollars
to fix.

You got to figure out if the cost to fix it.

Is worth it, right right?

Yeah, And so yeah, it's like if we get a
new fridge that'll have a warranty on it. So we
don't know what to do. And we've got food at
our neighbor's house. I've got food outside in our mini fridge.
That thing is stuffed. I've got a cooler in uh,
you know, like a bag in the shower with some

beers in there.

Listeners to volunteer their freezers as well.

Maybe because yeah, we get stuff here at the radio station.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
We got stuff everywhere. We have food everywhere.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
We got food all over Palm Beach County. So when
we're not really sure what to do about the refrigerator,
we may be going to buy a new one today,
and that sucks because that's an unexpected expense.

So that's our hot mess from the weekend, you.
