Speaker 1 (00:00):
See if I'm doing the math right here, twenty minutes,
so our will I make it an hour and twenty minutes?
I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
I actually don't know either, Yeah, right, because you are
kooky today.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
You were questioning my behavior before seven o'clock this month. Yeah,
and then you said I was on a period.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
And now I think you have.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
Just lost just lost it. So I don't know if
I want to make it, I don't know. Stick around
and find out. We will see coming up at nine
o'clock your chance to win one thousand bucks with our
work day payday. So we got to talk about robo
calls for a second. I'm getting so mad about this, Yeah,
I really, seriously, I just want to say, I think
(00:41):
it's time for our government, government to step up and
do something about all the robo calls. The FCC or
whatever needs to put a stop to it. I had
I get so many every day. Yesterday I looked at
my phone, nothing on it, no alerts or notifications. Right,
I set my phone down. Literally two or three minutes later,
I looked and I had four robo calls, missed calls,
(01:05):
and they four they left voicemail messages all four of them,
and they were all trying to do something about debt
consolidation or something. I get the I get these four
or five times a day, but those four were right
on top of each other.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
They must think that we're broke.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
So yeah, I can't even talk about it. It gets so
APUs get up. You get very upset. I get too
many robo calls, and you get weird texts. You get
weird texts I got to yesterday. Do you guys not
get as many robo calls as I?
Speaker 2 (01:33):
I have a feature on my phone, so I don't really.
I have an app called Active Armor from AT and
T and it does a pretty good job of blocking
a lot of that stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Oh that's great. I had an app to that I
downloaded and we see how well that worked.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Yeah, that one doesn't. You need a new one. Or
you can upgrade your phone. But I think your phones
are too old. There's a feature on the new iOS
for iPhones.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
It's iOS twenty six.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Twenty six, correct, and it's called call screening.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Feature screening feature. Yeah, And I went to my settings
and our phones our phones are too old. Yeah, to
handle the iOS twenty six upgrade or download or whatever.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah, it looks like they won't you with them robo calls.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
So what does this It says here, I guess you
go to settings and turn on screen unknown callers.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
That's right, okay, And then there's like three options you
can go to never have accept calls from unknown numbers,
you can ask them the reason for calling, or there's
a silence option.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
Oh yeah, it says it uses SERI to ask unknown
callers what they're calling for before your phone rings. Oh
that's amazing. So, yeah, we need to get new phones.
So if I, if we get new phones, maybe I
would have fewer robo calls. If somebody's calling you, I
don't want these people to call me. It's sad. There's
some days when the only calls I get are robo
(03:00):
that's every day for me. I got nobody calling on
me or texting me.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
It's it.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
The only friends I have are scammers. That sucks.
