Never Had Pizza (1)

Thanks for kicking off your Monday with us. Thanks to
everyone joining us on the Cool one five to five
Facebook page for the show behind the show where everybody
thinks that I broke my wrist or something happened to
my wrist over the weekend, because we'll get to that later.
But I did spend like four and a half hours
in the er on Friday, but it wasn't my wrist.
Everybody thought, oh, he had a roller skating accident. That

was not It did not break my wrists. But we'll
get to that. But we got to get to this.
So Sally was telling us a story about like a
legendary rock star.

In nineteen ninety five starred in an ad campaign for.

Pizza Hut Okay. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
If you remember. He was supposed to be kind of
reuniting the Beatles, but then the Monkeys showed up, guys
from the Monkeys, and they all were eating pizza, except
for if you watch the commercials Ringo star never takes
a bite of the pizza and he's never had a
slice of peace in his life. Never even though he
started a pizza commercial.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Do you know anybody who's never had a slice of pizza?
I mean maybe, I mean, it's not a thing that
will come up in conversation. I don't think so you
might know people who haven't.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
And just never know that's crazy, never had pizza. And
he says it's because of food allergies. That makes sense,
he says, you know, no, he doesn't. He doesn't, but
he says, you know, you never know what's really in there,
so I just don't eat it.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
It never has well well, I mean, and now they
have all this special like the gluten free or the
cauliflower crust or whatever. I mean, so, but I guess
sees wow. Okay, so that's our question this morning. Anyone
listening who has never had a common food that you
would think everybody's had, Yeah, you know, like a cheeseburger

or whatever.

Pancakes, fries, anything that's very common, tacos, anything like that
that you've never had.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
I think something you'd find at a basic convenience. Stand.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Yeah, there you go, and don't go for something crazy
like oh I've never had tofu.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
No, no, no, no, nothing like that, or I've never
eaten oysters or no. No, we're talking like basic things
that you know, every day thing, right, Because I remember
years ago, didn't someone call the show and they said, well,
I've never had iced tea? Yeah, oh yeah, you've never
had ice. No, you've never had one sip of iced
tea in my entire life. So that's what we want
