going to be hot again today. So if you're working outside,
playing outside, drink lots of water and be safe.

So, Curtis, you were telling us that you found out
in a very weird way that your friend and his
lady friend are having a baby. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Uh, because this is a no y'all know, I got
friends all over the place. A friend he lives out
on the West Coast. I think it's Washington where I
don't even know.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
He has so many friends he can't keep up with
where they live a.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Lot of places. Yeah, okay, Uh, but you know, we
were checking in and we were texting, and he he
had he was going on a hike, and he was
texting me because that he had in his hike early
because his leg got infected. I guess he got bit
by some gnats or something and those sores got infected.

So he was like, oh, uh yeah, I've just been
in the hospital. They gave me all the good antibiotics,
all the stuff. And he's like, oh, do you want
to see, you know, my leg pictures? And I was like, well,
not really, but I kind of have to and I
kind of have to.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Oh, so he sent you pictures.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
He sent me pictures of his swollen, infected leg. He's
so we're doing all that. It was pretty bad, he says, painful,
more painful than when he broke his leg, and so
we're talking about that. So I'm concerned about that part
of his life where you know, his legs all jacked up.
And then he casually says, oh, yeah, you know how
you told me not to die when I went on

this hike. He was like, yeah, that was good advice,
because you know, I'd be in a lot of trouble
if I'm miss the baby shower next week. And I
was like, baby shower and he was like, oh, yeah,
having a baby. And I was like, oh, that's how
he told me. A picture of his wife, not wife,
but a girlfriend, you know, in the front seat, all pregnant.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
And I'm like, hold on a second, and now was
she showing? So she's that far along she's showing, but
he's just now telling you.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
I wasn't even like the forefront of the news. It
was just like, oh, my legs messed up.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
So his headline was I've been in the hospital, I
didn't die on my hike. And it's a good thing
because so and so is pregnant.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Yeah, baby shower, baby shower next week. I'm like, what
are you talking about?

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Okay, he should have led with that. I should have
been the headline. Hey, guess what so and so is
having a you know, we're having a baby.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Baby.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
No, he's up there talking about his hike and his
