Speaker 1 (00:00):
We have to give a shout out, yes Melody at
California Closets, a good morning, salute, Good morning Melody.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Yeah, she came to our house yesterday because our guest
bedroom closet we want to have redone, and so, you know,
we she came over and she took a look at it,
and she's got this really cool computer program that she
can put together, you know, our ideas for the closet,
and I mean she obviously takes our input as well,
and then a three D image of what the closet

(00:28):
will look like comes up.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Curtis, this thing is amazing because yeah, yeah, you can
see what the closet will look like, and she can
turn the image around, she can open the drawers with
her computer mouse. And I mean, well, first of all,
let me say Melody is a super nice person and
very smart and very good at what she does, very.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Creative because she came up with some ideas that I
would have never thought of.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
The cool thing about this, this California Closets program that
she uses on the computer is that when you add
you know, shelves and handles and stuff like that, you
can see, yeah we have a budget, you know, Yeah,
you can see the number go up or down or
down depending on what you're adding, and you know, in
real time, all in real time.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Yeah, because she was like her ideas were just fantastic,
and she's like, well, we can do this and then
that'll save you know this, and so the price goes down. So,
like most said, we do have a budget. We made
an agreement on our budget, and we have enough money
left in our budget to do a second closet.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Oh nice, yeah, so well, and what happened she was, but, yeah,
I had to oversee this a little bit because this
is a guest room closet. We don't have guests very
seldom do we have guests. But but I want the
closet to look nice.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Yes, and all will.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Yeah, but Sally was over here trying to save two
boxes to go in the closet.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
She was like, I want those boxes to fit on
the shelves. Are there boxes with stuff in them? Or
because I know sometimes y'all got empty.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Box their boxes with stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Yeah, it's like a blanket in one box and then
sheets in the other. But these boxes probably got them
for five dollars at TJ Max back in the day.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
They don't even look that good.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
And she's trying to work this program to where Sally
can put these damn boxes on the shelf, and I
had to step in and intervene.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
I'm like, look at it. You're killing the.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Budget over trying to keep damn five dollars boxes.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
I think Melody got a kick out of that budget. Yeah,
if we take the boxes out of the equation that
the price went, you know, it's just.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Not a lie. At one point, I excused myself. I
went back to that closet, I looked at the boxes
and I'm.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Like, oh, hella.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
I went back in there and I said, honey, stop
trying to save.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
These two boxes, because you're driving up the budget now.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
And then once we got it down, we were able
to should We're gonna be able to do something cool
in the man cave closet.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Where keeps all of his albums and CDs and forty
fives and stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
But Melody is so smart and very good, and she's
sitting there saying, if I were you, I would do this,
and I would paint the inside of the closet this
and do that.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
And you know, I mean very It was.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
It was a lot of fun, though it was a
lot of fun and she was really good, really and
she knows what she's doing California Closets, thank you, uh so,
but uh yeah, just to you know, if your wife's
trying to save two you know boxes, radio boxes from
TJ Max.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Yeah, sometimes you got to put your foot. That's your
one time of the year. That was my one time
