So ready for the weekend. We have guests coming this weekend. Curtis,
I forgot to ask you, don't you have Do you
have a family reunion this weekend? Because yesterday you were like,
I don't know if I do or not.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
I don't think so. I think it's uh, I think
it's later this month, but you don't know, not for certain.
So I don't know which activity I signed up to
go to. I know I signed up for something, and
I bought a T shirt for the family reunion, but
I don't exactly know which part I'm supposed to show
up for or where or when.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Well, it sounds like a plan.

Maybe you need to call someone in your family.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
And say, oh, that's not like too much word. You're
asking you a lot.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Text them maybe tell you, hey, when is that family reunion.
I would love it if they text back, yeah that
was like last week, two weeks ago. That would be great,
all right. So you know people collect.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Stuff, Yeah, you know you would know that.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
I would know that. Well, I don't collect stuff like this.
Celebrities collect some weird.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Stuff, a lot of them because they have a ton
of money.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Yeah, and we've got a list here of just the strange,
wildly expensive collections of some celebrities. Nicholas Cage, we've heard
about his collections before. He collects shrunken pigmy heads, not
surprising at all, and haunted properties. Didn't he buy? I

can't he spent so much money on.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Did he spend a lot of his money?

Speaker 4 (01:24):
I think so?

Speaker 1 (01:25):
But he Yeah, shrunken pigmy heads, that's just nasty. Johnny
Depp has an enormous Barbie collection, including limited editions like Beyonce,
Elvis and Lindsay lohand at all no right, but he
says he used them to improvise scenes with his kids.

See, I would expect him to be like a like
a kiss doll guy or something like that.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Yeah, or swords or I don't know, but Barbie dolls.
Rod Stewart he spent almost thirty years building a massive
mind train city in his home.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
I didn't know about that. Yes, I knew that that
he was into model trains.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
And when he was married to Rachel Hunter, I believe
she was a model much younger than him at the time.
And yeah, and she would want from what I understand,
she would like to go out and do stuff, and
he all all he wanted to do was sit in
his Palm Beach mansion with his model trains.

That was the rumor. Tom Hanks he owns more than
three hundred vintage typewriters from all over the world.

That's kind of cool.

Yeah, and he still types letters on some of these
and gives them as gifts.

Oh, I would love one of the life feel so special.

Oh my gosh, that is Tom Hanks sent you a
letter he typed on a vintage typewriter.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
I'd be like, I got a Tom Hanks letter. What
you got about this?

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Elton John he owns fifteen thousand pairs of sunglasses.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
That's like, you don't you got that many?

Speaker 1 (02:49):
No, not fifteen thousands, Okay, he's close fifteen hundred. No,
not even fifteen hundred.

I have and they're the chiefs son glass.

Well, I have some, you know, like ray Band. Now
he Jim, don't wear them. I mean I wear if
I'm just being honest. Look, grabbed another pair. I wear
them right out of the prize closet. Cheap sunglasses from
the station.

Soon John got the expensive stuff.

Oh yeah, sure are custom made.

Yeah, it's his collection is so big. He has an
entire room dedicated to storing sunglass. Wow, now this one, well, okay,
Steve Martin, he has like a serious fine art collection,
but he's also equally obsessed with rare banjos.

That's what my guest was gonna be.

Banjo's plays banjo and this one, this one just really
throws me off. Penelope Cruise, she's obsessed with coat hangers.
What and she collects different shapes, sizes and designs.

How many designs of a coat hanger?

I have no idea? I would I would love to
see her collection of.

Coat hangers, different types of coat hairs.

Didn't know that there were so many variations that you
could collect them.

How do you start obsessing about a code hanger?

Yeah, I feel like I do need something else to collect.
