Speaker 1 (00:01):
Michael, this is the US government.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Great.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
It's so much fun. They don't have to have a
real budget.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
And when they think they have been caught with their
pants down, well they just put more monopoly money.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Isn't this great? I loant it?

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Caution you were about to experience the taxpayer relief on
the situation with Michael Brown.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Something a minute. I really think that everybody, uh you know,
on the Friday before Christmas, really wants to hear more
debt ceiling and deafenitives spending and.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
As much time on it as you did.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
I I just want to help the goobers understand. But
sbody said, I'm one hundred percent right, but I'm wrong
on the tax line.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Uh huh.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
So I think we should just wave the taxpayer relief
shops today and discuss fiscal and monetary policy. C Yeah,
how about that? How do you think that would go.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Over more congressional vacation time?

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yes? How about how about we just called Mark? Hey?
Is Kelly back there?

Speaker 1 (01:13):
She is?

Speaker 2 (01:14):
But tell Kelly came in here and just do an
extra hour Martino right now, and I'll just go ahead
and start my vacation now.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
And Martino used to start at nine right at one
point in time.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
It did back in the day.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Yeah, just go huh yeah, just sleep.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
It's cool, okay, will you will you talk and fill in?

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
You and Dragon and talked about it whatever you want
to talk about.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
He did fill in earlier this week.

Speaker 5 (01:33):
I did.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Oh my god, that was in Nightmare You feeled in
for who Martino?

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Did you really?

Speaker 1 (01:38):
I did?

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Goll. I wish i'd listened to that.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Oh, the first segment on Monday or something.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, So Tom had some audio issues and
I had to like jump in there and take a call.
And thank god, it wasn't about a car or something
I know nothing about. It was just like a normal comment.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Yeah, just go to the shop and get some extra
blinker food.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Me my god, could you imagine Dragon.

Speaker 6 (02:03):
Car?

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Like a call about a car?

Speaker 2 (02:07):
So what was it call about?

Speaker 1 (02:09):
It was about Oh, I don't even remember.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
It's not just me. It's not just me.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
It's all of us.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
It is all of it. It's all of us. You know,
our brains are always moving forward, never looking backward. H right,
Just because I don't want to get murdered myself.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Leaving caution, you are about to experience the taxpayer relief
shot segment on the situation with Michael Brown. Caution, you
are about to experience the taxpayer relief shot segment on
the situation with Michael Brown. We do not necessarily relish
the death of any criminal, but we do celebrate our
god given and constitutional right to self defense in the

(02:51):
event that the criminal becomes d RT. The taxpayers spared
the cost of public defenders, court costs, incarceration, and continue
Pearl supervision. As the Sheriff of Santa Rosa County, Florida
says insert audio here, or Sheriff Grady of Polk County says,
insert audio here. You have been warned listen at your

(03:15):
own risks. Mike, Yeah, at your own risk. So let
me insert the audio here. Why do I call them
taxpayer relief shots.

Speaker 7 (03:23):
Somebody's breaking in your house here, more than welcome to
shoot them.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
In santaise accounting, we prefer that you do.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Actually, hopefully you'll save the taxpayers money. Yep, save taxpayers money. Now,
let's go down.

Speaker 8 (03:34):
I would highly suggest that if a loud breaks into
your home, comes.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Into your home while you're there.

Speaker 8 (03:40):
To steal stuff, that you take your gun and.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
You shoot him.

Speaker 8 (03:44):
You shoot him, so that he looks like grated cheese,
because you know what, that's one leader that won't break
into anyone else's home.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
I had some grated cheese this week, Dragon Hammer fixed
talking with your Luigi, Yeah, Luigi Manngioni or my favorite
one of all.

Speaker 9 (04:01):
I would tell them, if you value your life, you
probably shouldn't do that in Polk County because the people
of Polk County like guns.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
They have guns.

Speaker 9 (04:09):
I encourage them to own guns, and they're going to
be in their homes tonight with their guns loaded. And
if you try to break into their homes to steal
to set fires, I'm highly recommending they blow you back
out of the house with their guns.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
So leave the community alone. Yeah, just leave them alone.
All right, let's get started. Armed security guard shoots and
kills a man trying to rob something.

Speaker 10 (04:33):
He does something tonight on a security guard who stopped
at nothing to protect a pack to auto parts store
in Phoenix.

Speaker 11 (04:39):
The investigation still happening your twenty fourth Avenue in Van Buren,
after a suspected robber was shot and killed.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
ABC fatis to Vita Fragani joins.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Us now Live and Navida.

Speaker 10 (04:48):
This struggle started inside the store then spilled outside.

Speaker 12 (04:52):
Yes see, the suspect didn't factor in a possible takedown
when he came to Penny Pincher Auto Parts with the
intention to rob them. But just as fast as he
ran in, he was chased out and shot in the
parking lot. A busy stretch Van Buren shut down as
police capture each piece of evidence documenting bullet casings after
gunfire broke out and this parking lot shattering the window

(05:15):
of this truck.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Would they say they were robbing the store?

Speaker 12 (05:18):
Mario was inside when a man stormed in waving a gun,
demanding money from the employees. It was then a security
guard tackled the suspect.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
They were quieting officer and my guy who picked to
rupt the store.

Speaker 12 (05:32):
The security guard's efforts to stop the robber failed, so
he chased him outside, grabbing his own weapon.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
I just heard that gunchat that's round the wolf.

Speaker 12 (05:41):
Ron Flint pulled up right after hearing the shots, and
he was.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Locked in tight and he wasn't moving. He was focused
on that guy in the vehicle. He was calm. He
says up, you're okay, and he nodded he was okay.

Speaker 12 (05:53):
Police tell us the suspect got in his truck, then
turned around and pointed his gun at the security guard,
and that's when he fired back. Customers tonight now calling
that security guard a hero.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Thank god they had him here, they really do. I'm
shaking thinking about it.

Speaker 12 (06:10):
That police have not released the suspect's name and we
are still working on trying to get more information on
that security guard.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Steve, that's pretty good.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Best part of that one. What was the name that
Otto Park stored right?

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Pencer Auto Part.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Anty, Pincer Auto Parts. You know what that means. They
steal them out of junk yards and then they resell them,
that Penny Pincer autos. Hey, you know, I'm headed to Phoenix.
Maybe I'll go buy and take a selfie in front
of Penny Pincher. Oh, so, Big O' had a There
was a shooting from a Big O' somewhere in the
Denver area yesterday. That was on the news last night.

(06:45):
I think it was I think it was Denver Big
Ol' tires. We'll imagine that a car car owner uh
encounter as a carjacker.

Speaker 13 (06:55):
The Lee County Sheriff's Office confirming an active investigation on
Catless Avenue in Lee High Acres. LCSO says a homeowner
used their right to protect themselves on their property, but
it led to a death. Deputy say at three point
thirty am on Saturday, a man was shot laying and
a homeowner was in their car preparing to leave for
work when they were startled by a carjacker. They both

(07:17):
got into a fight when that homeowner shot the carjacker,
as LCSO says, in self defense. L CSO says this
person attempted to break into five cars prior deputy's work
to save his life, but he was pronounced dead at
the hospital.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
I like this reporter, you know why.

Speaker 13 (07:33):
L CSO says, a homeowner used their right to protect
themselves on their property, but it led to a death.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
They exercised their right to defend themselves. At least somebody
in the news media recognizes a ride of self defense.
Homeowner well, homeowner, home intruder. How do you think that
works out?

Speaker 5 (07:55):
New Mexico State Police are investigating after an apparent home
invasion suspect was killed by a homeowner and have been
Saturday night in La Loose, that's north of Alamagordo and
Otaro County. A couple and their three small children were
in the home. The homeowner told police the suspect, forty
five year old Lucas Moore, started banging on the door,
then broke it open and came inside. The homeowner reportedly

(08:17):
tried multiple times to get more to leave, and when
More tried to hit him, he shot and killed Moore.
The district attorney will decide if any charges should be
filed after the investigation is complete.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
I think I know the answer to that. I know
they should not be. No charges on that one intended
victim with a real gun. Just take a listen to
this one.

Speaker 14 (08:43):
Well, we are learning much more today about yesterday is
a deadly shooting in Upper Darby.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
We told you all about it.

Speaker 14 (08:49):
A victim fought back turning the tables on a would
be robber. The victim had a gun and used it,
shooting that would be Robert dead in Cobbs Creek Park.
I would just leave Cleve Brian is in Upper Darby
with some new information on the investigation.

Speaker 10 (09:04):
Clean that sixty seven year old victim is now gone
home from the hospital after suffering some chest pains from
the incident. Police tell us that he grew up on
the Philadelphia side of Cobbs Creek Park and all he
wanted to do yesterday was just go for a walk
and get some exercise.

Speaker 15 (09:21):
I mean, just a nice guy.

Speaker 10 (09:22):
Upper Darby Superintendent Michael Chitwood says in fifty years policing,
he's only seen victims turn the tables on their attackers
about a half dozen times. But yesterday, that's exactly what
happened in Cobbs Creek Park.

Speaker 15 (09:33):
Guy pulls what he thought was a real gun on him,
demanding his money, and it was his struggle fight for
the gun, and he pulled his gun out and shot
the guy.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Police say.

Speaker 10 (09:41):
The robbery suspect who ended up fatally shot in the
head his eighteen year old Tyler Williams from West Philadelphia.
He had no prior criminal history and was carrying a
metal pellet gun that looked like a semi automatic pistol.

Speaker 15 (09:52):
That was the family last night, and obviously this an
eighteen year old son's dead, but U.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Were very cooperative, police said.

Speaker 10 (10:01):
Williams family got a call after the incident from a
friend who may have been with the teenager because he
described what happened. The victim didn't want to talk to
us today, but Chitwood says he feels sad.

Speaker 15 (10:11):
He was very, very remorseful, and well, shit hadn't happened,
and you know, I think myself and other detectives told him,
you know, you did nothing wrong.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
People in the community.

Speaker 10 (10:21):
Agree it was self defense, so I can understand it.

Speaker 7 (10:23):
If I was it, order, guy Ap, I would do
the same thing, straight up.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
We tried to talk to Williams family. They didn't want
to talk to us.

Speaker 10 (10:32):
We do understand that police are trying to locate that
friend that may have been with Williams, but right now
they believe that Williams acted alone in the attempted robbery.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Live in Upper Darby. I'm Cleve Briant, CBS three. I
went this news queen, thank you proving that.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Your brain's not fully formed at the age of eighteen,
you use a fake gun and get killed by a
real gun. But then the cop says, or not the cop,
but one of the neighbors says.

Speaker 7 (10:57):
Wes the order guy AP I would do, saying straight.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Up, straight up, I did the same things, straight up.
These are pretty good today. Oh here we have an
international one. Uh do you remember where this is? Dragon?
Does it tell us you don't have a clue?

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Like I was even paying attention when I recorded the right.

Speaker 9 (11:19):
I wrought up.

Speaker 16 (11:19):
We attempt as a corns bought her in deadly early
Sunday morning when armed patrons confronted Cape.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Town, South can of South Africa.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Really want me to go look it up?

Speaker 2 (11:30):
No, I'm just I'm just trying to jog your memory
a little bit.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
You're not do anything. It is it is forty five
minutes until we are done. Do you really think I'm
gonna do?

Speaker 2 (11:39):
And you've been and you've been checked out since when's
before I got here?

Speaker 16 (11:42):
This morning Wednesday, tmust intruders, leaving one suspect dead and
another at large. The incident occurred around one thirty am

(12:16):
when two men brandishing guns stormed the establishment, demanding patrons
lie face down on the floor. Two licensed firearmholders, both
off duty law enforcement officials, were involved in the confrontation.
The deceased was identified as twenty year old Alex Draker,
who suffered a fatal gunshot wounds to the chest. But
owner Dennis Prior Louis Proprietor Prior's Place, describes the tense moments.

Speaker 7 (12:41):
They were like about what eight or seven of us
and I saw two young guys when I assume they
were young, because now I know they were young, because
I know what happened after that. They running to the
building asking everybody to lay down flat on their bellies.
I didn't lay on because the guy, he was very

(13:02):
close to me, and I.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Was in two.

Speaker 7 (13:06):
Minds whether I should take him on, but still thinking
of his other guy being around too, and I don't
know whether the guy was also, so I didn't go down.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
My other friend who was.

Speaker 7 (13:18):
There me didn't go down either, And then why that
was happening. I heard two short fires and the gun run.
The guy ran out, plus the other one that was
there with him, and then we found him on the
road dead.

Speaker 16 (13:30):
Louis, who ward recently returned to the island after a
ten month medical absence, was amongst.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Several patrons present during the incident.

Speaker 16 (13:37):
The incident has sparked discussion about business security in the community.

Speaker 7 (13:42):
The message is that I would want to send out
to the people out there is I would, you know,
urge the government to at least issue more fire license
to proprietors, you know, business of that such, you know,
because if the guys know, I'm oh for sure, they
wouldn't come back. By priors anymore, they would never take
a chance and come back there. So if they know that,

(14:03):
you know, the proprietors of other businesses such like what
I have, you know people are prepared to protect themselves
that way by having their fire license.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
I think that will keep them away.

Speaker 16 (14:14):
One local resident expressed frustration over youth turning to crime.

Speaker 17 (14:18):
Oh, them fathers have to stop them doing what not?
Because Christmas come in, they have to go on for
work to do their brother They are working in their country.
They have a lot to walk in the country right now.
And youty you say, I just go from buy a
new barrel?

Speaker 1 (14:33):
You sack it?

Speaker 2 (14:34):
You can them first come and do that for you.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
They want to do it.

Speaker 17 (14:36):
They want easy money. So what is yet you deserve it?
What when they come in up there? Oh my dad
does something? They have to one before what to do?
How somebody working and you have to let them pass it.
You are passing just like that, my boy. Everybody working
for a data right now and duty right now. I

(14:57):
have to go and buy a barrow. People dorave and
borrow people get in a jacket.

Speaker 16 (15:01):
So authorities are conducting approached into the shooting and chourage
anyone with information to contact the Grozily police station. The
second suspect premans on the loose, tracking the Glacy.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
It's the news forks, think.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
Lucia and we get another great quote on this one Toosa.
Not because Chrismas's coming. That were going on the floor
walks through.

Speaker 17 (15:23):
Rather ye're working up onto that lot to walking nuck
on tree right now. On you too, you say, just
go round by a new birol the jacond. You don't
never first come and do that for you.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
They want to do it.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
They want easy money. So what do you get?

Speaker 1 (15:35):
You deserve it. He deserves it. What he gets, he
deserves it, he deserved Yep. Oh these are pretty good today.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Let's see. Oh this one's non fatal.

Speaker 13 (15:47):
However, a crime alert tonight at eleven shots fired in
northwest Miami Dad.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
It happened early this morning, the homeowner saying he shot
someone who was breaking into his house.

Speaker 10 (15:57):
Couple of times.

Speaker 5 (15:58):
Cody Weddle is joining us a live Northwest Miami Dade
with the latest.

Speaker 18 (16:01):
Cody, so Syrah and Sanella neighbors here are telling us
they heard several shots very early this morning, and as
you said, their police now saying the homeowner at this
home behind me, says he was firing those shots at
somebody who was attempting.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
To break in.

Speaker 18 (16:20):
Shots ringing out early Sunday, around six in the morning
outside of this home in northwest Miami Dade.

Speaker 19 (16:27):
And I looked at her. I'm like, are they starting
fireworks so soon already? But it didn't really sound like
the fireways. And then we heard right after that, and
then one last shot.

Speaker 18 (16:37):
Miami Dade police responding to the home, located in the
eighteen thousand block of ninety first Court and finding a
man suffering from a gunshot wound. This man lives right
next door, describing what he heard immediately following those shots.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Here woman is screaming no no, no, no, no no no.

Speaker 18 (16:56):
Police saying the homeowner claims the open fire on a man.
The man attempted to break into his home. The next
four neighbors saying the potential intruder had attempted to climb
up the home to access the balcony or a window.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
My neighbor was in the balcony with a gun on
a lantern.

Speaker 18 (17:15):
Fullye say it was the homeowner who called nine to
one one after the incident. Police seem questioning several people
as their investigation got underway.

Speaker 19 (17:24):
It was shocking because nothing like that ever happens in
this community. Course, we're worried now. You know, we don't
know where that suspect came from, you know, who, what
was his intentions, you know, if he knew the person
or not. So we're still trying to figure that out.

Speaker 18 (17:39):
So that man suffering from the gunshot wound was transported
to a nearby hospital and stable condition and does continue
to recover. Meanwhile, police have not filed charges for anyone
involved in this incident, but they do say their investigation continues.
Poor Live in Northwest Miami day tonight. I'm Cody Weddell,
Local ten News Dragon.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Would you rather if you're a home intruder, you're going
to burglarize, rape, murder, whatever, and you get shot, but
you can take them to the hospital. Would you rather
just go hit and die or survive and end up
in jail for the rest of your life?

Speaker 1 (18:17):
Depending on red assume what the crime would.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Be a serious crime where you may face life.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
Listen, it's a tough question because if I choose life,
then I'm alive, but everything is done for me. Yeah,
I've got three medical cares oh, yes, right, prefood. But
you won't be able what you're eating, just lose weight.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
It's true, true, I'm not sure what i'd tax play
relief shots continue after this.

Speaker 18 (18:54):
Always excited to hear the taxpayer relief shots.

Speaker 6 (18:57):
I'm from Mansfield, Ohio, near Shelby, Ohio, and I'm hoping
to hear one that came from my neck of the
woods this week.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
Ragen, do we have any from Ohio?

Speaker 20 (19:09):
Do you know?

Speaker 3 (19:10):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (19:10):
I honestly, I don't think I couldn't remember where the
international one. Do you really think I'm gonna remember from Ohio?

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Well that's true, all right, let's get let's get going again.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
A woman brings a.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Knife to a gunfight.

Speaker 5 (19:22):
With that breaking news out of later Hill, where an
officer responding to an emergency call came face to face
with a woman armed with a knife.

Speaker 10 (19:30):
The officer was.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
Forced to fire, killing that woman.

Speaker 21 (19:33):
Arioddser is joining us live.

Speaker 15 (19:34):
Ari.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
What have you been able to.

Speaker 5 (19:35):
Find out about what happened moments before?

Speaker 22 (19:40):
Well, not much about what happened before. Police are still
investigating all that. Let me set the scene for you.
We're in this apartment complex here in lauder Hill. The
incident happened at around twelve twenty five this afternoon, and
the investigation is happening right behind me on the other
side of the unit, the building over here on this side,
So take a look over here. You can see some
of what's happening back there. Later Hill Police, he said

(20:00):
they received a nine to one one call with very
little information. The first officer arrived and they say he
was almost immediately confronted with a woman charging at him
with a large knife in her hand.

Speaker 23 (20:14):
But the way the scene is positioned, where his car
is positioned at the time, that's what it appears to be.
He arrived on scene, and upon arriving on scene, the
next thing you hear is the officer advising over the
radio that she has a knife, and the next transmission
after that is shots fired. By anytime an officer is
confronted and can justifiably determined that his life or others

(20:37):
are an imminent danger, uh, then he's authorized to use
deli force.

Speaker 3 (20:42):
And that is what occurred today.

Speaker 22 (20:44):
He was a woman and maybe a male, maybe a female.

Speaker 10 (20:48):
Not knowing the arguments though I heard and after that
I heard a loud noise that was a gunshot.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
One gunshot and that's about it.

Speaker 15 (20:56):
And do you hear people running in the hallway scare.

Speaker 22 (20:59):
Of they like go all crazy. She don't know the circumstances,
why why she was shot or anything like that.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
All that her was.

Speaker 15 (21:07):
Loud arguments, back and forth, back and forth.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
That's about it.

Speaker 20 (21:13):
Now.

Speaker 22 (21:13):
That witness told us he didn't even realize it was
a police officer who fired the shot. Police tell us
they still don't know the woman's name, They don't know
why she was at this building, they don't know the
circumstances that led up to the confrontation with the police officer.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
They tell us she died though, at the hospital and.

Speaker 22 (21:30):
They're still trying to figure out exactly what happened here.

Speaker 5 (21:34):
Guys, back to you and Ari, what happens to the officer?

Speaker 16 (21:37):
Now?

Speaker 22 (21:39):
Well, standard procedure that anytime there's a police involved shooting,
the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the state police agency,
takes over the investigation to determine whether or not deadly
force was justified or in any case, if the officer
was justified and firing their weapons. Even if someone doesn't
die in the incident, in this.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Case, obviously somebody did.

Speaker 22 (21:59):
It's a very serioious investigation is going to take some time.
We are told that the officer was wearing a body cam,
but we are also told that they're not sure the
bodycam was activated when it happened, because it happened so
fast after he got out.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
Of his car.

Speaker 22 (22:12):
He, by the way, is a three year veteran of
the lauder Hill Police Department.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
Was that the tell he was asking about, presuming that
I know, but it sounded like maybe the same time
that he mentioned let's see domestic violence.

Speaker 24 (22:30):
Here we go oping a manage that after the Profard
Kinty Sheriff says, the man raised the gun of deputies,
which forced them to shoot. It all happened early this
morning at a home on Egret Lake Way and Vieira
just east of I ninety five. You see a pair
west who's Paul al Trista and Ruda is there and
has been talking with neighbors.

Speaker 25 (22:49):
This deputy involved shooting as the result of what is
often referred to as suicide by cop, and in this case,
the subject was successful in getting exactly what he wanted.

Speaker 11 (22:59):
That's what the Vard County Sheriff's Office is calling. What
happened outside of this home on Egret Lake Way shortly
before three am on Tuesday. Deputy's responded after our family
ran into a neighbor's house, where they called nine to
one one. Deputies say they learned that a man had
threatened a woman with a gun and knife, so they
went to the suspect's house and tried to get him

(23:19):
to come outside and talk to them.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
He spoke with them by phone. At one point he
actually said something to.

Speaker 25 (23:26):
The effect of its game over, and then even shared
with one of our telecommunicators that they were going to
have to come inside and shooting.

Speaker 11 (23:35):
About an hour later, the sheriff says the man came
outside and ignored commands, instead pointing his gun at deputies
and forcing them to fire. Neighbors here say this is
typically a quiet area, so they were surprised when they
learned what happened, adding that this is a tragedy.

Speaker 26 (23:52):
People out here kind of leave each other along with
the close neighbors talk shrif food, chair holidays and tweak
it we all have.

Speaker 17 (24:00):
So this is a.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
Surprise and shot. We've lived here eleven twelve years.

Speaker 11 (24:04):
It's very safe, so we thought, I mean, things can
happen anywhere, but nothing like that has happened around here.
The sheriff says the man was taken to a nearby
hospital where he died. No deputies were injured, and the
deputy involved is on paid administrative leave covering Brevard County
in Vieira poelitrist nerda WESH two News.

Speaker 24 (24:24):
Now, the Bervard County Sheriff's office is not saying who
the deputies or the people involved at all are right now.
They will submit the findings of their investigation to the
State Attorney's.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
Offered domestic violence ever ends will oh the FB I
let's see what do they do.

Speaker 20 (24:47):
Dortheast, Ohio man was shot and killed by the FBI.
Police tried serving him a warrant when those shots were fired.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
Caitlin McCarthy has been combing through court records, and tonight
she has the latest these court records. So this all
played out in Alabama.

Speaker 27 (25:01):
The arrest ward for Alexander Randalls was for social media
threats to kidnap or injure someone. Records we found show
Randall's at one time lived in Summit County. This is
the scene in Golf Shores, Alabama, where FBI tried to
serve Alexander Randall's that warrant. They were charging him with
interstate transmission of a threat to kidnap or injure. The

(25:22):
FBI says Randalls was armed, so they opened fire, killing him.
According to court records, since twenty twenty, Randalls has reported
to multiple law enforcement agencies that he's a victim of
an unknown domestic terrorist group. He claims this group defamed
his name, harmed his business, and infected him with a
sexually transmitted disease. We found Randall's owned road Runners Tires,

(25:45):
a mobile tire business in Akron. We called the number
listed on the company's Facebook page.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
It went right to this voicemail message due.

Speaker 6 (25:53):
To the texts that we've been encountering in our community,
and we are going to keep our.

Speaker 14 (25:59):
Doors until we can get the authorities to enforce the laws.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
The court records say.

Speaker 27 (26:05):
In January, Randalls attempted to put his doctor under a
citizen's arrest. He believed his doctor falsified his medical documents
in an effort to conceal that the unknown domestic terrorist
group had infected him. When Randalls went into the office,
he was armed with a pistol in handcuffs. Then, court
documents say in late November, in this Facebook post, Randalls

(26:28):
called for an unorganized militia. He said he will quote
instruct the arrest of insurrected government officials, and he gave
the insurrectionists a deadline of December fifteenth to step down.
These documents also show Randalls was involuntarily committed for a
mental health evaluation earlier this year.

Speaker 21 (26:47):
Caitlin McCarthy nineteen News.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
I think the guy needed a malay healthy evaluation. An
unknown domestic terrorist organization is infecting me with a sexually
transmitted disease. Doctor's trying to govern it up. Oh my gosh,
sounds like some of the emails that I get. Yeah,
let's see here. We got a local one one.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
This is probably not shooting in Westminster.

Speaker 18 (27:12):
It just steps away from the Orchard Town Center shopping mall.

Speaker 11 (27:15):
That's right, Fox thirty one's a Shawl Turner has been
there for about an hour, so getting us information we're
expected to hear from officials at any moment.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
Let's go to our life now, shaw Well.

Speaker 28 (27:24):
I can confirm we have just learned and we have
just confirmed that one person has been killed and is
shooting here near the Arbor Commons apartment complex, which is
just to the east side of the Orchard Town Center.
Now I'm going to move aside and give you a
closer look at where this investigation is focused right now.
Now this is the first floor of the Arbor Commons
in one unit. Police are taking a look there where

(27:47):
this shooting occurred. Apparently, based on residents I've been speaking to,
at about eight twenty tonight, a gunshot was heard. Now,
what we can tell you right now this investigation is
continuing and we are waiting for more information. But we
have also learned that this area is now secured and
police say there is no imminent.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
Danger here to report.

Speaker 28 (28:07):
Although this street is cordoned off, there is no lockdown
and there is a strong police presence, but residents can
be reassured that there is no imminent danger. At the
same time, this investigation is continuing again right near one
hundred and forty fourth and I twenty five in this
very upscale area. Now, I'm waiting to hear in just

(28:28):
moments from the public Information officer with Westminster Police who
will be giving us more details. So we'll send it
back inside right now. Shaw Turner reporting live Fox thirty one.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
Oh, I remember that one. I'll take a dragon may
we take a break a little early?

Speaker 1 (28:42):
Well it's not really early, but so this would be
on time, on times want?

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Okay, we'll take a break on.

Speaker 26 (28:47):
Time, mister producer Dragon, Why do we always hear portions
of this program have been pre recorded? Why is that necessary?
I'm sure one of the listeners actually care, but I
figured maybe you'd know.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
Thanks, I do know.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
What what's that about? Because nothing is pre recorded?

Speaker 1 (29:11):
It's a legal thing.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
Is this about the news.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
It's a little bit of ever, everything shows a pre
recorded material US news that anything and everything to do
with it.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
It's not like they're trying to tell people that we ain't.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Really here, correct, It's just that we legally have to
put that in because there are pre recorded shows and
pre recorded segments on k how huh, okay, all right,
Virtually all the stations out there will play that three
times a day I think is the minimum.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
Oh yeah, not three times per show, three times three
times a day. Okay, I can find every be any
attention to it. We're really here, unfortunately.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
Yeah, last I checked. Three more minutes.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
We're physically here. Okay, let's see somebody's wearing body armor.

Speaker 27 (30:07):
Five on your sides, Andy crawl talked with witnesses and investigators,
of warning, some of the video is disturbing.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
Surprising onlookers.

Speaker 21 (30:15):
It was around eleven am when Festus Police got the
call for shots fired at the White Castle by the
A Highway.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
That's when a man in this truck took off.

Speaker 29 (30:24):
The vehicle made a right turn to head southbound onto
sixty seven, where durn had then struck a concrete median
barrier and flipped around and ended up in the northbound
lanes of sixty seven in front of.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
The Dollar Tree.

Speaker 21 (30:39):
Crystal City Police helped confront the suspect, who they say
stepped out in body armor flashing multiple guns.

Speaker 6 (30:45):
There were shots fired by the suspect at this time.
Our officers then engaged in returning fire in the incident,
and the incident was brought to a conclusion at that point.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
Well, okay, that's one way to end a text by relief.
Shot and body armor in a white castle? Sometimes why well,
exactly why not? Let's see here another armed suspect.

Speaker 20 (31:22):
Please continue to investigate A deadly officer involves shooting in Almonte.
Sky Fox over the scene on Main Street and Tyler
on Monday night. This all started inside a nearby Target store,
where a man allegedly showed a gun after shoplifting. Police
say the suspect drove off with a female accomplice, and
after a short chase, the man abandoned the vehicle and ran.

(31:43):
Officers confronted him on the street before shooting and killing him.
Police recovered a handgun at the scene, and.

Speaker 2 (31:50):
He abandoned his girlfriend and the car. What a dirt bag,
Let's see, do we have a short one here anywhere?
We be short ones dragon to do anymore. So let
me just say on behalf of dragging it myself, how
much we appreciate all of you tuning in.

Speaker 17 (32:05):
We are.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
We're going to take a couple of weeks off. We'll
be back after the first of the year. You're back, right, yeah,
the second second or something. Yeah. Yeah. In the meantime,
it is one of the few times I think it's
been one hundred years since both Hanikah and Christmas fall
on the same day. So everyone had a happy Honkah,
a merry Christmas, a happy and prosperous New Year, and

(32:27):
