Speaker 1 (00:00):
Drag and Dragon Dragon Dragon, you got this and don't
tell Michael, but uh yeah, I tuned in.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Today just to listen to you.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Haha. Have a good one. Bye, Are you kidding? Don't
tell Michael. Don't tell Michael that you're specifically listening to
hear me and not him.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Caution you were about to experience the taxpayer relief shots
segment on the situation with Michael Brown. We cannot necessarily
relish the death of the criminal, but we do celebrate
that God given and constitutional right to self defense and
saving the taxpayer the expense of the three hots and
a cot.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
So what all your punk's out there?

Speaker 5 (00:46):
If you're thinking about breaking into someone's home, that person
may have a forty four magnum, which is the most
powerful hanging in the world and will blow you clean
back out the door. Still thinking about breaking the law,
then you have to ask yourself this question, do I
feel lucky?

Speaker 6 (01:03):
Fuck?

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Do you? Well?

Speaker 7 (01:05):
Do you?

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Do you?

Speaker 8 (01:06):
If someone breaks in and that's a possibility that they
gotta acampt is somebody gonna be shooting him?

Speaker 3 (01:12):
So I will suggest not to break into homes. Seems
pretty simple when you just stop breaking the loser, Uh oh,
I forgot this one from the early the previous hour,
the Sheriff's PSA, HI everyone.

Speaker 9 (01:30):
Recently, lady called nine to one one here in Panell
County because someone was breaking into her house.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
There's some guy. He came to my door, but he
went into my neighbor's house.

Speaker 9 (01:40):
This dispatcher gave excellent advice. I'd like you to take
a moment and listen to it. He came into my garage.

Speaker 10 (01:45):
He's trying to get my back door.

Speaker 11 (01:46):
Okay, lock your doors, keep them all locked.

Speaker 5 (01:48):
Do you have a firearm with you?

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I do.

Speaker 12 (01:51):
He's in my garage.

Speaker 13 (01:52):
He's trying to get in.

Speaker 9 (01:53):
Go get that firearm.

Speaker 14 (01:54):
I have a don I'll heren't you Leah, he's.

Speaker 8 (01:59):
In the girl.

Speaker 9 (02:00):
While the incident was still going on, sergeant was monitoring
the radio traffic, and this is his direction that he gave.

Speaker 8 (02:07):
If I got RP, if it's effects training to get
in the house, they have the right to use force.

Speaker 15 (02:11):
I couldn't be.

Speaker 9 (02:12):
More in agreement with what the direction of my dispatcher
gave and what the sergeant gave over the radio. Remember,
if you want personal protection, buy a gun, learn how
to use it. Learn when you can use it. I'm
sure if Rossteple and I approve.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Of this message, buy a gun and learn how to
use it. Yep, Well that is a one sheriff. You're
in the States, Well here's a Canadian sheriff.

Speaker 16 (02:32):
In the unlikely event that you find yourself the victim
of a home invasion, we are urging citizens not to
take matters into their own hands.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
What we urge you to call nine one one and
do everything you can.

Speaker 16 (02:44):
To keep yourself and love one safe until police arrive,
and be the best witness possible.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Would that include shooting the bad guy?

Speaker 16 (02:52):
This could mean locking yourself in a room away from
the perpetrators.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
High, Nope, that's not shooting the bad guy. Hitting fleeing
the home.

Speaker 16 (02:59):
But don't engage unless absolutely necessary.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
It's necessary the bad guys in my home.

Speaker 16 (03:05):
As it stands, we know the best defense for most
people is to comply. As you've just heard, a number
of safety recommendations will allow for those that are victimizing
members in the community to leave and not harm anyone.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
I don't have the sound clip here, but you all
may know this one. How about no, your crazy Dutch bastard,
and my advice is.

Speaker 16 (03:36):
To rye on our place service called nine one one
immediately and let us take it from there. And we
see more often than not, when people comply.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
That that the bad guy lives, we want that to happen,
that the bad guy lives.

Speaker 16 (03:55):
You know, the injuries are are not happening, and people
are not victimized in terms of injury or see.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
He just can't say it. He wants the bad guy
to live. The bad guy that broke into your home,
he wants him to live.

Speaker 16 (04:09):
Or in this case, unfortunately, we've seen the loss of
life in some of these incidents.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Compare and contrast. Here's our very own Sheriff, Steve Reams.

Speaker 15 (04:18):
This is Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams, And I want
to encourage the people of Colorado to remember you still
have the right to defend yourself, no matter how much
of a mess this state has become. While the Democrats
and the legislature and the governor of the state have
created as many barriers as they can to make it
difficult for you to own and carry a gun for
your protection, you still have your Second Amendment rights. The
Democrat controlled legislature and Governor Polis also tell us that

(04:40):
crime isn't out of control, but we all know that's
not true in Weld County. I encourage every citizen to
have an investment in their own safety. You should own
a gun and know how to use it. If someone
wants to break into your home and threaten your family,
they should meet the serious end of a firearm. The
best way to end the spread of crime is to
ensure the criminal is no longer part of the equation.
As the Sheriff of Weald County, remember this. We love

(05:01):
our guns in World County and we don't like criminals.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
I want to give a shout out to Jeremy who
sent an email earlier saying he was ecstatic to hear
that I'm going to be hosting two full hours of
taxpayer relief shots and wanted to throw out the suggestion
the possibility of Sheriff Steve Reams filling in for Michael
when our bullpen is finally, you know, tapped out, considering
we normally would have Ryan and we would have Jimmy,
but Jimmy's filling in for Ryan because Ryan's on vacation,
so John filled in and Jolly can only hear a

(05:25):
little bit because he needed to take the sun to school.
So we did a thing in the past couple of
days and we know that, you know that, you know that,
we know we're sorry about it, but that's what had
to happen. So that made me fill in today, which
I'm absolutely fine doing and having fun, having a blast
doing so. But I think there's a little fine line
that needs to be walked when Sheriff Steve Reams fills

(05:45):
in outside of Dan's show. So we'll just stick with
the bullpen that we have. It's worked so far and
seems to be going pretty good. Also, on a side note,
just for me, I'm here in the building. Why am
I the only one wearing any kind of Broncos gear today?
The first game is in just a few days, it's

(06:07):
a home game here in power Field at Mile High,
and I'm the only one in the building that I
have seen so far wearing Broncos gear. It what's wrong
with people around here? I don't know. It's just okay,
all right, we'll get back to things over here. All
the scissors, that's right. Man brings skizzers to a gunfight
with police, that's right.

Speaker 11 (06:27):
So this is a deadly officer involved shooting. The suspect
was killed at the scene, and you can see behind
me that there are about a dozen evidence markers on
the ground on Chatham Avenue. You still see a lot
of patrol cars in the area as well, including an
evidence vab on the ground. Again, this is on Chatham
Avenue and Amelius Street. This is all taking place here
an the Luminary Green Public Park, which is surrounded by

(06:50):
apartments and student housing for UCF students here now. According
to Orlando Police officers, there were two officers already in
the area responding to a disturbance between roommates around three
forty am, and while talking to them, a white male
in his forties who was sleeping in the park and
not involved in the dispute, suddenly charged at officers.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
With a weapon.

Speaker 11 (07:11):
They say that weapon was a pair of scissors he
was carrying.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
There it is, there's the scissors. Almost a minute into it, thanks,
and he.

Speaker 11 (07:19):
Was coming at them in a slashing motion, refusing to
obey commands.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
Continue the wait.

Speaker 17 (07:24):
Wait.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Also, if I'm hearing this all correctly, this man coming
at the officers with the scissors has nothing to do
as to why those officers are there. The officers are
there for an incident at one of the apartments and
this guy is just on a park bench, decides to
go after the police and am I getting that right? Thanks?

Speaker 11 (07:43):
You move forward them in a threatening manner, and that's
when those two officers fired shots and killed the suspect.
Take a listen to what Orlando Police Deputy Chief Chad
o'choozo's had to say about that incident.

Speaker 10 (07:54):
It appears he was just sleeping in Luminary Green as
our officers were discussing the city.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
He's just they're mining his own business. Sees the officers
and goes, I must cut them up with these play
school scissors. Incident with the roommate there. He came charging
at those officers, unprovoked by any of our officers. And
that's what we know at this time. Gee, I wonder
if they're going to say mental health crisis.

Speaker 11 (08:19):
Those two officers are now unpaid administrative leave. Well duh,
just standard operating procedure. This is still considered an active
criminal investigation and officers are expected to be here on
the scene for the next couple of hours. But they
say they do not believe that this will interfere with
any of the morning activities for the UCF students now
back in class, reporting live in downtown Orlando. Amanda McKenzie

(08:41):
Fox thirty five News.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Motifiction, Yeah, I go back to school. Nothing to see here,
Nothing to see here. A man points gun deputies and winds.

Speaker 18 (08:49):
Up d hart Well Tonight the Richland County Corner identifying
the man killed and Tuesday's deputy involve shooting. And now
we're getting some more details about this story. We now

Chereff Leon lat says Tuesday morning, so yesterday.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Wait wait, wait, wait, his name is Tony Tony. Sorry bro.

Speaker 18 (09:11):

his home over on Avanza Road. Will Investigators say Tony
refuse commands, made threats, and also pointed a gun at
deputies from.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Inside the home.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Always smart.

Speaker 18 (09:29):
That's when Corporal Sean Sullivan fired his weapon, hitting Tony.
The Sheriff's department says no deputies were hurt.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Deputies, though, did provide.

Speaker 18 (09:37):
Medical aid before first responders took him to the hospital,
and that is where he later died. We also now
know no deputies were injured.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
Woo, no deputies are injured. That's fantastic. Love it when
that kind of thing happens. I do want to also
point out that me adding my own little commentary in
between all these things is no way, shape or form
celebrating the death of these morons deciding to go after
police or homeowners in their own home. But you gotta
have lighthearted about some of the stuff that you do.
Over here, police shoot and kill grandmother armed with a

(10:10):
canife after pepper spray mine. This is one tough grandma.

Speaker 19 (10:14):
You Tonight, the family of a woman in New Jersey

the shooting could have been prevented. Vivin Dolly Wall has
the story, and we do need to warn you the
video is disturbing.

Speaker 20 (10:33):
Inside this building on Nielsen Street in New Brunswick is
where sixty eight year old Debborterrell lived.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
She was a mother and a great grandmother.

Speaker 21 (10:40):
The house was always open to everyone, you know, shambias.
She offered a babysit her great nieces and nephews.

Speaker 20 (10:48):
Her family says she had long battled schizophrenia and say
that's why the morning of August eighth makes no sense.
Police got a call early that morning from neighbors about
Terrell holding a knife in the hallway. Cell Phone video
shared by family shows officers responding trying to engage with Terrell,
who was in her apartment behind a locked door.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Officials say, Torell, No, they just.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
Said cell phone videage. I wonder if there's any the
police cam footage that can coroborate any of this stuff
as well.

Speaker 20 (11:17):
Exited her apartment with a knife, and they say officers
try to subdue.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Her with pepper spray and a taser.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
And a taser. I didn't see the taser part in
the title here, thanks Jed. A pepper spray and a taser.
Grandma's still coming at the cops.

Speaker 20 (11:38):
Then you see an officer fall to the ground. Within seconds,
a shot is FIREDO please tell us it's the officer's
okay or not? And the bullet Killedterrell.

Speaker 21 (11:47):
You No, they didn't give her an opportunity to respond
to command.

Speaker 20 (11:52):
We reached out to the New Brunswick Police Department and had.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
I think the pepper spray and the taser probably a
good way to tell them that she's, you know, being uncooperative.
Just just throw that out there.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Haven't heard back yet.

Speaker 20 (12:06):
The New Jersey Attorney General's Office is investigating, but Terrell's
family wants the answer to this one question what happened?

Speaker 21 (12:13):
And no one seems to be able to answer that question.
We won't get it, honest.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
The night Grandma went crazy, I know whatever.

Speaker 21 (12:22):
Because they're evading accountability.

Speaker 20 (12:24):
It could take the Attorney General's office weeks even months
for them to release their findings.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
Meant, oh, that's why we haven't seen the police cam
footage yet.

Speaker 20 (12:32):
I'm The family says they will continue to push for
accountability and changes in how police respond to people in
crisis in New Brunswick, Navigian Dolliwall CBS News, New York.

Speaker 3 (12:44):

this button right there and do this. See it's not
a double click problem this time, because I actually just
did that little just got that spinning wheel of death.
So push this button, do that button. It looks like
it's back. Police shoot and kill a man who uh wait,

(13:26):

here we go, all right, there just comes back. Please
shoot and kill it. Man wanted for questioning Well.

Speaker 18 (13:35):
Tonight the Ershley County Corner identifying the man killed and
Tuesday's deputy involve shooting. And now we're getting some more
details about this story. We now know he is forty
two year old Antonio D. Tony cheerfully on lot.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Says, wait a minute here, Jeda, n Well, it could
be me. I don't know. It could be the program
too right now, just freaking out, good old Adobe audition.
What oh yep, we've got the original here. We're spare
no expense here at the iHeart Empire. I'm gonna try
a different one here. Say if that one works out,
Police shoot and kill man who tried to run them

(14:10):
over with his car.

Speaker 12 (14:13):
We now know the official cause of death of a
man killed by police in Springfield.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Vermont, last week.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Is it a car?

Speaker 2 (14:19):
The chief medical examiner says.

Speaker 12 (14:21):

to the head.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
His death has been ruled a homicide.

Speaker 12 (14:27):
Crairiy was shot Thursday night after police say that he
drove his vehicle towards two officers conducting an investment there.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
It is YEP instigation.

Speaker 12 (14:35):
On Valley Street, Springfield Officer Vincent Franchi and Windsor County
Deputy brand Brian Jalava open fire. Both officers are on
paid leave while the investigation continues.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Wait what the officers are on paid leave, which is
standard procedure. I am shocked. Oh, okay, one more here?
Did do you police shoot and kill wanted suspect who
fired them? Let's get a turnout, will.

Speaker 1 (15:02):

vehicle they believed was related to a criminal incident in
Ripley County.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
Ah, so that would also earn one of these stop

Speaker 23 (15:41):
They saw who they thought was a suspect in the
car and called in Greensburg Police to assist in a
traffic stop attempt.

Speaker 24 (15:47):
The suspect also had an unrelated warrant for his arrest.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
ISP Sergeant John One more time, Stop loser.

Speaker 23 (15:56):
On Parene says officers followed the suspect for a short
time before pulling over the car, where two men and
a woman sat inside. The passenger, who was identified as
the suspect, got out of the car and pointed a
handgun at officers.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
When they encountered the person that they were looking Wait wait, wait,
how'd that work out?

Speaker 20 (16:13):
Looking for?

Speaker 24 (16:15):
Shots were fired by three officers.

Speaker 23 (16:17):
Parin says two Decatur County Sheriff's deputies and one Greensburg
Police officer fired their weapons.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Oh.

Speaker 24 (16:24):
The officers immediately rendered aid to him.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Unfortunately he was What do you look at that too?
I mean, this guy got out of his car pointed
a firearm at the officers. The officers defended themselves, and
then once the happenstance was over, they ran up and
tried to save the guy. That's pretty cool. If you're
an officer, you just your life was on the line.

(16:47):
Somebody was about to try and murder your ass, and
then seconds later you're trying to save that guy who
just tried to kill you. God, I got hats off
the police officers.

Speaker 24 (16:58):
Man now's to seize a short time later.

Speaker 23 (17:01):
The deceased suspect has been identified as thirty nine year
old Travis Manleaf. Paran says neither the officers or other
passengers were hurt, but state police are now charged with
investigating the shooting.

Speaker 24 (17:11):
Still early for us to have a lot of the
details about exactly what unfolded, but he.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Told us the details. Dude got out of a car
and pointed a firearm at the cops. Pretty clear to me.

Speaker 24 (17:23):
We recognize our job's dangerous. These officers were in a dangerous.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Encounter and didn't I say that.

Speaker 24 (17:32):
We're thankful that they weren't injured.

Speaker 23 (17:34):
Me too, says all officers had on body cams and
their cars had dash cams. That video will now be
analyzed as part of the investigation. Reporting in Greensburg. Gabriella
Morando CBS for News.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
More taxpayer relief shuts coming up next.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Hey, Dragon, variety is the spice of live.

Speaker 25 (18:08):
Thank you for taking some time to bring your humor
and your method into the middle of the show.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
Thanks see you well. You're very welcome. And I got
this text message at three three one zero three Dragon.
Thanks for the bonus number nineteen sixty four. Who do
you think you are giving your own self your own
goober number? No, no, no, no no. Your goober number
is fifty six eleven. Learn it, know it, love it,
good money, goobas.

Speaker 5 (18:36):
This is doctor Anthony Fauci and it's time for your
booster shats.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
We got a few more award winners to get to here.
This one was labeled the Darwin Award Winner. Two men
take turns shooting each other.

Speaker 11 (18:54):
Yero.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
This next story hard to believe. The man is in
custody tonight the kids to shooting and wait, wait.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
Did he say it's hard to believe? Has he opened
up a window anywhere? Ever and saw how the world
is right now.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
Hard to believe killing his friend as both men took
turns shooting at each other while wearing a kevlar helmet.
Sean O'Donnell was arrested today.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
Nope, certainly wasn't a mistitle here by Agent Jeda Yep.
These two men, according to the reporter, were taking turns
shooting at each other.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
And charge with murder in the death of Aaron Prout.
The shooting happening at O'Donnell's home in Spring on August seventeenth.
The sheriff says the incident initially came in as a
suicide call, but investigators say that story did not add up,
which led to the murder charge.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
This may be a good question for the lawyer that
routinely does this show here, Michael Mikhael, Michael mckel Miguel
that guy who could probably discern a little bit more
as to is this really a murder if the two
had planned to do it together, or suicide because you're

(20:04):
having your friend do it, but you did it. I mean,
I guess the questions are is do these people even
really know each other? I mean, but still, if these
are the facts, these two morons were deciding to take
turn shooting each other because they had keV laren. We're like, hey,
you know what sounds really good, Let's start shooting at
each other. Well, I mean, I guess you could go

(20:25):
back to the back in the day when was the
first guy that created the quote bulletproof vest. The only
way he was able to test it was by testing
it on himself. So maybe that's that's kind of the
thing that was going on right here. Hey, we just
bought this whole new kevlar. We won't check it out. Well,
we can't just set it on a dummy and touch
it out. No, no, no, let us put it on ourselves
and the shoot. You shoot. Now, let's see how well

(20:47):
this works out. Dumb asses, all right? Award winner. Homeowner
shoots and kills intruder armed with a canife to.

Speaker 26 (20:57):
I've a monthly Also homeowner now jail. The arrest comes
one day after he called nine one one and told
dispatch he shot a knife wielding men in his home.
We told you about the fatal shooting yesterday's day. We
learned the homeowner, identified as thirty three year old host
se Lada, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.
His bond is set at fifty thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Wait, wait, wait, wait wait, I need this one all
over again because I was halfway distracted by Kelly laughing
the background about these two dumbasses that were shooting each
other with kevlar helmets. Okay, so this is the homeowner
in this one gets in trouble for killing the introdu
I'm gonna play this one all over again.

Speaker 26 (21:34):
I'm sorry, I've a monthly also homeowner now jailed. The
arrest comes one day after he called nine one one
and told dispatch he shot a knife wielding men in
his home. We told you about the fatal shooting yesterday's day.
We learned the homeowner, identified as thirty three year old
host se Lada, has been charged with possession of a
controlled substance. His bond is set at fifty thousand dollars.

Speaker 20 (21:57):
Got it.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
These are two completely separate incidences. The first incident was
the homeowner was getting invaded by a guy with a knife. Now,
this second incident was apparently this same homeowner who had
some drugs on him. Well that just wait wait, wait,
where's my button?

Speaker 19 (22:17):
Loser?

Speaker 3 (22:18):
All right? More homeowners killing more intruders.

Speaker 27 (22:22):
Those deputies are investigating after someone allegedly shot and killed
an intruder at a home in Auburn. That happened just
after seven am at a home off South three hundred
and sixty second place. King County Sheriff's deputies hel Fox
thirteen that someone called nine to one one to say
they had a shot a person who broke into their home,
but deputies say no one was arrested. The identity of
the person who was killed has not been released. The

(22:44):
Sheriff's office says their Major Crimes unit is now handling
the case.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
Careful. If that homeowner has drugs, maybe they'll come back
the next day and arrest him, but not for the
murder of a mad guy. You know. We'll get over
to number two's here. Are going to save a couple
of number one for later on. Barricaded suspect fires at
police and winds up. You guessed it.

Speaker 8 (23:06):
We're following breaking news tonight was Saint Paul Police a
officer shot and killed a man after a nearly eight
hour standoff. Officers evacuated other people out of a home
on Ottawa Avenue around eleven am. They say the man
refused to come out of the home and started shooting
at officers and swat vehicles. Police say today shot the
man after he pulled out a long gun.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
All righty, well, there you go. A driver of stolen
truck fleeing police shoots at deputies. Wait wait wait, wait
wait wait, where is it? Where's it? Uh? Here we go.

Speaker 28 (23:37):
Don't attack my deputies. Don't try to stab or shoot
my deputies, because if you do, we're gonna shoot you
a lot.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
I wonder if that's the case here.

Speaker 13 (23:51):
Investigators say it started with a stolen pickup truck and
ended with gunfire, and one man did.

Speaker 9 (23:57):
It normally pretty quick.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
We no no how many albums like this, and.

Speaker 29 (24:02):
Very rarely hear anything like this other than some sirens
going by every now and then.

Speaker 7 (24:07):
To a scene, but this was probably one of the top.

Speaker 30 (24:12):
According to a GBI news release, just after two am Wednesday,
Houston County deputy spotted a truck speeding through Centerville. The
truck had been reported stolen, and deputies chased after it.
Sheriff Mount Moulton says the driver turned onto Kemper Street,
where the truck came to a stomp. That's when a
man and a woman jumped out and ran.

Speaker 13 (24:31):
Deputies quickly took the woman into custody and saw the
man hiding nearby. According to Sheriff Moulton, deputies tried to
arrest him, but he shot at a deputy. Deputies returned fire,
hitting the man just yards from where the truck was abandoned.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
I was fast asleep.

Speaker 13 (24:46):
At two three o'clock somewhere between that hour when it happened,
and my.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
Wife heard the first shot and woke me up and said,
did you hear that?

Speaker 17 (24:56):
And I said, you know, and then I heard several
more shots for that.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
No deputies were injured.

Speaker 13 (25:03):
The man who was shot was taken to Emery Winner
Robins Medical Center, where.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
He later died.

Speaker 13 (25:08):
The GBI is leading the investigation.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
So far, they have not released the man's name.

Speaker 30 (25:12):
Meanwhile, thirty four year old Ashley Kilgore is facing obstruction charges.
Sheriff Moulton says she could face additional charges as well.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
I am partial to the international ones. This one here
man brings canife to a gunfight with police. Yeah. See,
it's not just here in the United States that we
have bad guys doing bad things and people wanting to
defend themselves. So international man brings a cannife to a gunfight.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Now as little news.

Speaker 31 (25:38):
French police shot down a man suspected of stabbing at
least five people in southern port city of mass Number
Ports day. The attacker was a Tunition national with legal
status in France who stabbed the manager of a hotel
that had just evicted him for non payment New Island,
who was reportably armed more an iron bar and two knives.

(25:59):
He had ignored police warnings to drop his weapons when intervened.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
Not one but two can you face?

Speaker 31 (26:07):
One of the victims is currently in a critical state.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
Pasu Stad and Moondan.

Speaker 17 (26:11):
At this stage we have five victims, one of whom
is in quite critical condition, and we have our perpetrator
who passed away at three twenty six pm. This person
was known to the police and justice services.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
For the police.

Speaker 31 (26:28):
The attack are targeted people near a known drug trafficking area,
including hotel manager's son, another guest and two passerbys on
the street. Witnesses describe hearing shots ring out in front
of a abab restaurant, which is not too far from
the Old Port and Mussel. Among the victims of the
stabbing was the owner of a hotel who had been

(26:48):
involved in an argument due to non payment. Interior Minister
Bruno ra Tailu is scheduled to travel to Maso to
inspect the situation. He will also pay a visit to cities.
We take quarters, please corned on off the area and
put up a forensic tent in front of a fast
food restaurant.

Speaker 3 (27:07):
Oh h huh wee wee wee uh. Some from international
to local police kill and shoot man.

Speaker 14 (27:14):
Than where a man is dead after a shooting involving
police Saturday night. Details are limited, but officials they it
all started when an officer was trying.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
To conduct a traffic stop.

Speaker 14 (27:22):
This happened near six and Billings, right off the I
two twenty five, around seven.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Point thirty last night. Now that shooting closed all.

Speaker 14 (27:29):
Lanes on sixth Avenue between the Highway and Sable Boulevard
four hours. According to Aurora Police, one of their officers
was trying to conduct a traffic stop when the suspect
crashed into a car before crossing over the.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Median and crashing into a second vehicle.

Speaker 14 (27:44):
When the officer approached the car and began giving demands,
the suspect didn't listen and a physical altercation occurred. Officials say,
this is when the officer.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Saw a firearm on the ground.

Speaker 10 (27:54):
Well, what we do all right now, at some point
it appears that a gun was seen by the officer
on the ground and the suspect appeared to be walking
towards that weapon. The officer attempted to deasculate the situation
a role.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
Police say.

Speaker 14 (28:08):
The suspect died as the scene and investigation is currently
underway and officials are offering anyone with any information and
award of up to two thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
All right, that's it for right now for the text, Bayer,
lease shots more. I think I'll try and get a
few award winners when we come back.

Speaker 32 (28:23):
Okay, Dragon, we've been waiting a long time for you
to take over running the show. You can give us
all the lowdown on Michael Danger Brown. We know he
will not go back and listen to this podcast, So
tell us what you want to tell us, speak freely.
We love you too.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
True, he will not go back and listen to this podcast.
But also, there is not enough time for me to
get into anything and everything about Michael Brown that I
would have to complain about. Let's get some more, some more.
I'm a radio professional, but doing this for almost twenty years,
if you believe it, not nearly as long as Tom Martino,
who's been doing it for forty almost fifty years. Yeah,

(29:04):
he's not even listening to yet either. Man brings a
BB gun to a gunfight with police who are using
real guns. And this all.

Speaker 25 (29:13):
Happened at the home you see back.

Speaker 33 (29:15):
Here, And with the exception of the lawn and tree service,
this is typically a very quiet neighborhood, and neighbors say
there are a variety of cops who live on this street,
all of it showing just why it's so surprising to
so many what happened here.

Speaker 3 (29:35):
I am surprised too. The man took a BB gun
to a gunfight with police who live on that street.
That's it's wait, wait, wait, where's my button? Loser, dumbasses.

Speaker 6 (29:49):
Crime scene tape, many uniformed officers and detectives, dozens of
police vehicles all at the scene of this shooting. But
one thing often at crime scenes like this are evidence
markers showing where bullet casings have landed. In this case,
there are none. The police commissioner explains why.

Speaker 13 (30:09):
After numerous commands to put the gun down.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
Our officer's shot.

Speaker 6 (30:14):
That individual was struck once and he died later.

Speaker 3 (30:17):
I went to a hospital.

Speaker 6 (30:19):
That's what happened to a thirty three year old man
identified as James Rossano. He lived here on Rushmore Avenue
in Carl Place with his parents. His mother called nine
to one one around twelve twenty am to say he
was violent, intoxicated and refusing to leave.

Speaker 29 (30:36):
He started taking his shirt off, taking his pockets and
beating his pockets out on the table and saying kiss
me and say goodbye. I'm going outside and the police's
gonna take my life.

Speaker 6 (30:47):
The first officer to arrive spoke with the mother at
the front door, then looked to his right and saw
her son, and.

Speaker 13 (30:55):
He was carrying what appeared to be a shotgun.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
Two more officers arrived.

Speaker 6 (30:59):
The third cop was in this driveway next door behind
his police vehicle, and police say the suspect Rossano was
holding this gun about seven feet away from the third
cop and pointing it at all the responding officers. The
closest one to him fired the one fatal shot at
the gun wielding man.

Speaker 3 (31:20):
Laida, and only Lada did we learned that that was
a beab gun when you.

Speaker 7 (31:26):
Look at it, and you tell me if you could see.

Speaker 3 (31:28):
Anything different in what that gun is.

Speaker 25 (31:33):
And police saying they had been called to this home
a variety of times on a number of different kinds
of calls, and that the suspect in this case had
a rap sheet.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
Take a look.

Speaker 25 (31:46):
They said that he had a variety of felonies on
his record.

Speaker 3 (31:51):
And okay, this makes my button even much more appropriate now.

Speaker 25 (31:56):
Loser including Burglary, Arson and DWI. Again, many neighbors just
shocked at what happened. We'll hear more from them coming
up later on pix eleven News. Right now, reporting live
from Carl Place on Long Island.

Speaker 3 (32:15):
I'm James Ford, pix eleven News. Thanks James. All right, Well,
see if I can get a couple of award winterers
and maybe I'll do my best here. Thug bleeds to
death after cutting his arm on the broken glass of
a window he smashed. Yep.

Speaker 34 (32:32):
Brianna Willis with ABC thirteen here on Saturday morning, August thirtieth.
Here's some stories we're following this morning. I know police say,
investigators or the homeowners don't know who that man was
that was found dead near a home.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
In a pool of blood.

Speaker 34 (32:46):
But investigators say this all started a little AFTERQ this
morning when they were responding to a burglary happening near
Bluebell Road in Sweetwater Lane. They say when they arrived,
they found that man dead near home with a lot
of blood around him. And police say others were hurt
while also responding.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
As officers were.

Speaker 7 (33:06):
En route to this scene, one of the unit, with
one of the two man HPD unit was involved in
a vigular crash.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
Both officers are okay.

Speaker 7 (33:15):
Both officers have been transported to a nearby area hospital
with minor injuries.

Speaker 34 (33:18):
And here's the update to that story. He's simply telling
me this morning that suspect who died actually tried to
break into the home, and they say the medical Examiner's
office determined he died after cutting his arm on the
glass after trying to break into that home. And we
are also following a very chaotic scene from yesterday that
actually ended here along the North Loop and Yell Street,

(33:41):
a very chaotic scene. Actually, it's got even more surveillance
video right now. Take a look.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
You can see the moment that home depot.

Speaker 34 (33:47):
Truck rams into the intersection and the suspect flees on
foot Mongomery County Sheriff's Office as it started over twenty
miles away in the Woodlands. We listen to this, They
say the suspects sold a large number of Louie What's hollndbags. Now,
this was a very chaotic scene just yesterday, three sinct
one telling us it ultimately sent four children and the

(34:08):
suspect to the hospital. Metro Police say the robbery suspect
was driving a home depot truck along the highway, running
red lights and again ultimately ending here along the North
Loop when he crashed into a Cadillac, causing a ripple effect,
crashing into.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
A SUV and a Metro bus.

Speaker 34 (34:26):
Bysander telling ABC thirteen they were shocked this happened.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
For it to be like this big crash.

Speaker 34 (34:33):
I was like, oh that's I'm like scary, that's like
really far and kandam right here, you know. I was
like wow, wow, it is definitely the word. The Harris
County Sheriff's Office also capturing that suspect from their helicopter
as he tried to flee this scene on the foot,
But again law enforcement confirming to us at that suspect

(34:54):
is now in custody.

Speaker 3 (34:55):
I think we're good enough right there. That is your
taxpayer release shots for today. Michael will be back on
I am your friendly neighborhood dragon, Red Duard filling in Don.
That's about it.
