Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ladies and gentlemen, Good morning and happy taxpayer Relief Shots Friday.
To the naysayers, I've heard, the United Kingdom welcomes you
with open arms, all the Kleenex and Jimmy Kimmel reruns
your cold, little dead heart can handle. To the rest
of us, God fearing Americans, sit back, relax, enjoy the program,

(00:20):
have a great weekend.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Caution, you are about to experience the tax payer relief
Shots segment on the situation with Michael Brown. Caution, you
are about to experience the tax payer relief shot segment
on the situation with Michael Brown.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
We do not.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Necessarily relish the death of any criminal, but we do
celebrate our God given and constitutional right to self defense
in the event that the criminal becomes DRT. The taxpayers
spared the cost of public defenders, court costs, incarceration, and
continued parole supervision. As the Sheriff of Santa Rosa County,

(00:55):
Florida says, insert audio here. L of Pope County says,
insert audio here.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
You have been.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Warned listen at your own risks.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Mike, Well, it is Friday, it is time for taxpayer
relief shots, and we do call them taxpayer relief shots,
primarily because somebody's breaking in your house here, more than
welcome to shoot them. In Santaise Accounting, we prefer that
you do.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Actually, hopefully you'll save the taxpayers money.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Or as he says, let's see, I've got so many
of these now, I told you. I know. There really
are a lot, aren't there. Yeah, here's the one I like.
I like this one too.

Speaker 5 (01:34):
I would tell them, if you value your life, you
probably shouldn't do that in Polk County because the people
of Polk County like guns.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
They have guns.

Speaker 5 (01:42):
I encourage them to own guns, and they're going to
be in their homes tonight with their guns loaded.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
And if you try to break into their homes.

Speaker 5 (01:48):
To steal to set fires, I'm highly.

Speaker 6 (01:51):
Recommending they blow you back out of the house with
their guns.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
So leave the community alone. Yeah, just leave us alone.

Speaker 7 (01:58):
I'm a fan of the Canadian sheriff. You got that one, handy,
just to compare and contrast.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Yes, this is what they say in Canada. I'd probably
be arrested for doing these in Canada.

Speaker 8 (02:11):
And the unlikely event that you find yourself the victim
of a home invasion, we are urging citizens not to
take matters into their own hands. We urge you to
call nine one one and do everything you can to
keep yourself and love one safe until police arrive, and
be the best witness possible. This could mean locking yourself
in a room away from the perpetrators, hiding, fleeing the home.

(02:32):
But don't engage unless absolutely necessary.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
As it stands, we know the.

Speaker 8 (02:38):
Best defense for most people is to comply.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
As you've just heard a number of.

Speaker 8 (02:43):
Safety recommendations, I will allow for those that are victimizing
members in the community to leave and not harm anyone.
And my advice is to rely on our play service
called nine one one immediately and let us take it

(03:04):
from there. And we see more often than not when
people comply.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
That you know, just stop that for a moment. He
tries so hard. We see more often than not when
you comply, which means that sometimes when you comply, you
still end up dead or injured or mortally wounded.

Speaker 7 (03:31):
What and that goes for the bad guy too, So
we see exactly that that bad guy can get shot
and possibly die if you intervene.

Speaker 9 (03:40):
Okay, you know, the injuries are not are not happening,
and people are not victimized in terms of injury or
in this case, unfortunately, we've seen the loss of life
in some of these incidents.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Whatn't idiot back to Sheriff Grady and then we'll do
some and then we'll we'll we'll ye your from some
more sheriffs in a minute or just again, thinking about that,
compared to Sheriff Brady, I.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Would highly suggest that if a looter breaks into your home,
comes into your home while you're there to steal stuff,
that you take your gun and you shoot him. You
shoot him so that he looks like grated cheese, because
you know what, that's one leader that won't break into
anyone else's.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Home being goo. Okay, let's get started. As I've told
you every week, I don't listen to these I hear
them just like you do. So let's get rolling. The
pope shoot a thug. You don't always need a gun.

Speaker 10 (04:41):
Manantha and Mark detectives still are out here collecting evidence
from the scene. This is right near Waller in Chicago.
The latest is that a suspect was killed by Chicago police.
Two Chicago police officers were also injured in all of this.
So this originally started as a call for or a
report of a car being broken into. This happened around

(05:03):
four in the morning, this near Thomas and Pine. Police
say the suspects left the area in a dark colored sedan.
Officers say they came across at Sadan near Waller in Chicago,
which is where we are currently standing at and at
one point during the investigation. In Chicago, police say the
driver hit two marked CPD vehicles, pinning an officer who
opened fire at one of the suspects. The officer, we're told,

(05:27):
has non life threatening injuries. One of the suspects was
shot and taken to the hospital and later died. A
second suspect was taken into custody, and police continued to
look for a third person connected to all of this.
Chicago police also say that they found two guns in
the area. The Civilian Office of Police Accountability was also

(05:48):
called to respond and they are investigating the use of force,
which is standard protocol. Once again, still a very active
scene near Chicago and Waller. We have seen officers walking away,
continued to collect evidence, and they are still surrounding that
black sedan that we have been talking about all morning long.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
I'd like to see some ring video of that incident.
What cops show up. Somebody's trying to steal a car.
They get in the car, they pain the cop down,
the cops firing if the thug get creep shit cogo
shit cagou suspect fleeing from the popo gets out of
the car. Do we need to play this one, because

(06:30):
let me just read you the title. Suspect fleeing from
the cops exits from his car with a gun in
his hand. Huh. I don't know. Maybe I wonder what happens.
I don't know that.

Speaker 11 (06:47):
Ricky News comes to us from Green County this afternoon.
We're learning more about a deadly officer involves shooting from
over the weekend. It happened near the town of Grand
Junction late Saturday night that the Department of Criminal Investigation
says care Stonehawker of Boone led three departments on a chase.
Investigators say the eighteen year old stopped on t Avenue
and got out of his vehicle with a weapon. Police

(07:10):
say the man was walking toward them. That's when a
police officer fired their gun. Stonehaker died at the scene.
The officers involved were not hurt and replaced on leave,
which is standard procedure.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Wow, they were placed on administrative leave. I could have
guessed that five one, two, three four, five armed thugs
attempt to rob a cash for Gold shop.

Speaker 12 (07:37):
I was just.

Speaker 13 (07:39):
Two suspects are dead and the three who survived are
facing murder charges. One employee was wounded in the gun battle.

Speaker 14 (07:45):
Now, this comes on the heels of a bloody weekend
at Oakland really with a number of deadly shootings. ABC
seventies report of Francis Wang has what investigators are saying
about this and how city leaders are reacting.

Speaker 6 (07:57):
Right now, we're still early in investigation. That's going to
take time to determine who you know, who shot first
in regards to who pulled out the guns first.

Speaker 15 (08:04):
Employees at Eddie Cash for Gold in East Oakland armed
and fed up on Wednesday night, shortly after they closed
up shop at seven point thirty here on International Boulevard,
Oakland police say a group of mass men, some armed,
tried to rob them.

Speaker 7 (08:17):
Five suspects entered the business and began to assault the
employees inside.

Speaker 15 (08:21):
That's when a gun battle began. One employee injured, two
of the suspects dead, three injured. The surviving suspects now
being charged with attempted robbery and even murder.

Speaker 7 (08:32):
We believe that their compatriots are there by responsible for
those deaths and therefore booked to homicide charges.

Speaker 15 (08:39):
Just hours before, videos showing a smash and grab robbery
attempt at this jewelry store in Milpitas. Someone inside this
store also opened fire as the suspects ran off. Oakland
police aren't sure if the two are connected, but they
know business owners are frustrated and frightened.

Speaker 6 (08:56):
Well, I don't want anyone to think that we're in
a place to where we want our community to become vigilantes.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
That's not what we're looking for.

Speaker 15 (09:06):
Here, police revealing the suspects were all from Stockton. Mayor
Barbara Lee telling ABC seven News in part quote, while
this tragic event highlights the broader regional challenges we face,
it also underscores our commitments of protecting Oakland's residents, workers,
and business owners who deserve to be safe and feel
safe in their own community. Police here also addressing the

(09:28):
other shootings from just over the weekend that left too dead.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
We continue to review evidence.

Speaker 15 (09:33):
But say, overall, violent crime is down in Oakland, and
you're going.

Speaker 6 (09:37):
To have these incidents that we've experienced over the last
couple of weeks. But when you look at it collectively
over the last eighteen months, almost two years, you're looking
at double digit reductions in violent crime across the city.

Speaker 15 (09:50):
In Oakland Francis Wang ABC seven News.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
And a double digit decline in violent crime is nothing
to sneeze that. That's good. But if that means you've
gone from you know, a double digit could be ten percent,
So you've gotten from one thousand violent crimes a month
to you know, nine hundred violent crimes a month. Well,
whoop wooped de doo, that's still too many. Uh, that

(10:15):
was a that was a very good one. Home wwner
calls nine one one to report a man trying to
break into his house. Well, now, let's think about this.
He dialed nine one one, So I hope that he
did what the Canadian sheriff says, and that was he
just called nine one one and then didn't. Doesn't the
Canadian sheriff.

Speaker 7 (10:35):
See you hide in the closet, be the best witness possible,
be the best comply possible.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
That's right. Just comply, Just comply. You know, that's how
I lived my life. Just comply.

Speaker 16 (10:51):
It definitely puts a stress on the neighborhood, makes me.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Are you awake, sweetheart? Puts a stress on them. Now
I'm really stressed out.

Speaker 16 (11:04):
It definitely puts a stress on the neighborhood, makes me worry.

Speaker 17 (11:10):
Concerns are rising after a scary encounter turned deadly. Has
anything like this happened before?

Speaker 3 (11:16):
A shooting?

Speaker 16 (11:16):
Hair?

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Now?

Speaker 17 (11:19):
Where?

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Shootings?

Speaker 18 (11:21):
Now?

Speaker 3 (11:21):
This is why I left. Shony's shot shootings? Oh shot,
she said, shonyes there's a shi somewhere.

Speaker 19 (11:32):
And then now I'm like, what the heck is going
on in the neighborhood.

Speaker 17 (11:37):
Around one forty five Sunday morning, deputies were called to
a home in this unincorporated Pierce County neighborhood. The homeowner
told nine one one he had shot an intruder. When
officers arrived, they found a thirty six year old man
on the back porch with a single gunshot wound. Despite
life saving efforts, he died at the scene.

Speaker 20 (11:56):
Everybody should be able to defend their home. If somebody
comes to my home, Oh you're gonna you don't.

Speaker 21 (12:01):
Yeah, I'm gonna say it on TV.

Speaker 16 (12:02):
Ifirearmed and somebody had a gun on my back door,
I don't know what I would do. I can't, can't
put the cant judge them through that.

Speaker 17 (12:11):
Investigators say the alleged intruder had been cut on several
neighbor's security cameras walking around homes before the shooting.

Speaker 21 (12:18):
People can act in self defense, and this is a
true self defense situation.

Speaker 17 (12:25):
A frightening situation that was also cut on camera.

Speaker 21 (12:28):
In the surveillance video, it does show that that suspect
had a gun in his hand and was actively banging
on that back door of that homeowner in a fully
fenced backyard.

Speaker 17 (12:39):
The Sheriff's office says the fifty one year old homeowner
has been cooperative and believe the shooting was self defense.

Speaker 21 (12:45):
Again, we're not making any arrests on this case. This
is a tragic incident for everybody involved. Nobody ever wants
to take somebody's life, but in this situation, we have
a homeowner who was protecting his family.

Speaker 17 (12:58):
In Pierce County, Brittywalky, Helma King five News.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
Well, that was unfortunately a very good one. The next
one when I remember, I remember when this one happened,
and it really bothered me because it shows just how
dangerous being a LEO is.

Speaker 5 (13:20):
I would highly suggest to double click there.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Michael, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 18 (13:26):
Police officers are killed and two are injured in a
shooting in York County. The gunman was killed by police.
Good evening, and thank you for joining us. I'm Yuki Washington.
It's one of the deadliest days for Pennsylvania police this century.
The shooting happened this afternoon in North Cordorus Township that's
about one hundred and fifteen miles west of Philadelphia. During

(13:48):
a news conference a short time ago, we learned the
officers who are at the scene to follow up on
a domestic related investigation that began yesterday. Your hospital says
it is treating two officers who are in serious condition.
The shooter has not been identified, nor has the police department.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
The officers worked for.

Speaker 18 (14:08):
Governor John Shapiro spoke to reporters earlier this evening.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
This is an absolutely tragic and devastating day for York
County and for the entire Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Grieve for
the loss of life for three precious souls who served
this county, served this Commonwealth, and served this country. And

(14:34):
we continue to pray for the full recovery of those.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
Who were dealing with their wounds.

Speaker 18 (14:41):
The governor also said he and other officials met with
the families of the slain officers, and who, while grieving,
took the time to say how proud they were of
their loved ones. Governor Shapiro has ordered flags of the
United States of America to be flown at half staff
in honor of the officers.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
Just trying to I shouldn't say, just trying try and
serve warrants. Trying to serve warrants and you end up dead. Unbelievable.
And if I recall the video from that particular story,
that was a I know it was one hundred and
fifteen miles from Philadelphia, but nonetheless it was a rural area.

(15:20):
Good griefous just armed man is violating a protection order.
That happened.

Speaker 22 (15:31):
And we're following more breaking news learning details about an
officer involved shooting that left one man dead in Wyoming.

Speaker 13 (15:37):
Thirten year signs. Aaron Sullivan joins us live from that
seeing and erin.

Speaker 23 (15:41):
What have police told us, Elena, Well, I can tell
you from being here all morning that police just wrapped
up this investigation about thirty minutes ago. It took that
caution tape down and did leave the area. But we
do want to put you in this direction over here.
We do have reason to believe this house right here
is where that shooting happened. There was a heavy police
presence here and this is not been confirmed by police

(16:01):
just yet, but in our video you can see the
investigation focused heavily on this area. However, police did confirm
a thirty one year old man did die in the shooting.
Please say they responded to a domestic disturbance around one
in the morning at the two hundred block of Lamira
Street here in Wyoming. On the weight of the scene,
police learned that the suspect possibly did fire shots inside
of the home here. When they did arrive, they found

(16:23):
a man inside with a handgun. Police say officers then
shot the suspect, who died at the scene. They also
said that man was in violation of a protective order
and they have not released any additional details about the
suspect now. Both officers involved have been placed on administrative leave,
and of course we are in constant communication with the
police department asking more questions about this investigation, and as

(16:45):
we learn more details, you can find those at thirteen
on your side dot com. But for a now reporting
live in Wyoming. I'm Aaron Sullivan, thirteen on your side.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
Yeah, protective orders not worth much. A fellow with a
gun engages in a gunfight with the cops.

Speaker 21 (17:03):
Trading out to another deputy involves shooting, this one also
turning deadly.

Speaker 4 (17:07):
This was in southwest Miami Dade.

Speaker 24 (17:08):
A man was killed after a shootout after or with
the Miami Dade Sheriff's Office.

Speaker 18 (17:12):
Sergeant, we do have.

Speaker 11 (17:13):
Local times A Lenny's too fall She's live at the
scene with new details, Lenny Good afternoon.

Speaker 19 (17:20):
From sunset to sunrise, detectives spent twelve hours combing through
the scene. This orange spray paint left behind shows where
the cars were located, but surveillance video will play a
key role in the case.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
Running falling.

Speaker 25 (17:33):
I mean I got a scrape fall on my knees
distant and then when he caught it and the police fired,
and he kept firing.

Speaker 12 (17:40):
It was just like World War Three.

Speaker 19 (17:44):
Erica Nelson's response is to this violent encounter captured on
home surveillance video, a shouting match between a man and
a sergeant responding to a call about that man waving
a gun and acting reckless. This shattered many bands left behind.
After the shootout, the sergeant says the man to fight,
orders to stand down, and that's when the shooting took place.

Speaker 25 (18:06):
I was scared for my life, Irene when he's caught
the appointed I'm first being in my mouth with one.

Speaker 19 (18:14):
More surveillance video from Davis Grocery across the street from
the shooting, offering a closer look at what happened. Minutes
before shots rang out into the air. You can see
the sergeant responding to the scene then running for cover.
One minute later, deputies arrived for backup.

Speaker 15 (18:29):
Inside my house, my moulla, my wife, my song.

Speaker 19 (18:32):
Neighbors reporting this situation started right after sunset Tuesday night
in the Golds community along Southwest one hundred and twentieth Avenue.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
My reaction is scary, you know, a.

Speaker 20 (18:46):
Nebus my heart my pression because in fighting the corner
at the time of the shooting, it was only the
sergeant and the subject that we're on seing.

Speaker 19 (18:55):
The Miami Dade Sheriff also responding to the shooting.

Speaker 20 (18:58):
There was an exchange multiple gunfire by both the subject
toward the sergeant, as well as my sergeant returning fire
at this time, I've been told that the subject does
have an extensive criminal past.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
I'm shocked more Tpos's next.

Speaker 26 (19:15):
Hey, Michael, I don't know what this talk is about, shownies,
but now I want to breakfast buffet.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
Interestingly, you know, we do these taxpayer relief shots because
we have a natural, god given right of self defense
the Second Amendment, which has nothing to do with that,
but the Second Amendment encapsulates that god given right. And
I do these stories, as I've said before, because I
don't think it gets enough attention, and this society is

(19:46):
so anti gun that I know for some people this
is like shocking to hear these stories. We have a
text message, and whether you're still listening or not, Bob,
I don't know, but I hope you are, because I
want you to want I have it about what I'm
about to say. Bob's writes that your Saturday's program is

(20:09):
the best analysis and facts of events I have heard.
But I stop listening to you Friday at nine o'clock.
This is one hour of violence, a failure of our society.
One drop in quotes, one drop of this failure is
all most people need. Question mark, it's a question. So

(20:31):
I'm Bob, I'm not sure what that less sentence means,
but this is one hour celebrating our god given right
of self defense. Bob, I hope you're never in a
position where you need to exercise the right of self defense.
I don't know whether you're a gun owner or not.
Doesn't make any difference to me. I mean, I hope

(20:52):
you are, and I hope you know how to use it.
But you're precisely the audience that I'm going for now.
I know the others that in this enjoy it because
it's like, yes, we need to cut through the smoke
of all of the anti gun rhetoric that we hear.
These are good people using, in most cases not always

(21:13):
firearms to defend themselves in their families, and we celebrate that.
We absolutely celebrate that. I don't know of any other
place in our society, in the entire country, for that matter,
if you know of some of the if you know
of another talk show host or another program that does this,
by all means, let me know, because I'd like to

(21:35):
see it or hear it. But we take one hour
out of twenty three hours of broadcasting to just say,
let's remind ourselves that we have a right of self defense,
and when we do, we ought to celebrate that. For example,
Sheriff Reames.

Speaker 27 (21:54):
Says, this is what County Sheriff Steve Reems, and I
want to encourage the people of Colorado to remember you
still have the right to defend yourself, no matter how
much of a mess this state has become. While the
Democrats and the legislature and the governor of the state
have created as many barriers as they can to make
it difficult for you to own and carry a gun
for your protection, you still have your Second Amendment rights.
The Democrat controlled legislature and Governor Polis also tell us

(22:17):
that crime isn't out of control, but we all know
that's not true. In Weld County, I encourage every citizen
to have an investment in their own safety. You should
own a gun and know how to use it. If
someone wants to break into your home and threaten your family,
they should meet the serious end of a firearm. The
best way to end the spread of crime is to
ensure the criminal is no longer part of the equation.
As the Sheriff of Weald County remember this. We love

(22:38):
our guns in Weld County and we don't like criminals.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
I'm not saying that. The next SoundBite I'm about to
play is Bob who doesn't like what we do at
nine o'clock. But Bob, this person is why we do
these at nine o'clock, is sister.

Speaker 14 (22:56):
Rochelle acknowledged his actions but criticized the employee's response, stating, yes,
he was robbing them, but that clerk shouldn't have shot him.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
They should have called the police. So a guy's robbing
your convenience store, if that's what it was, and he's
plenty a forty four magnum at you, and you're supposed
to do like the stupid Canadian sheriff and just dial
nine one one. What as the bullet's going through your temple? Yeah,
so that nine one one can send the ambulance to

(23:26):
govern number seventy two to fifty nine rights Mike Canadian here,
I can promise you that sheriff is giving lip service
for the media. I can't tell you how many cops
up there would love it to have a castle doctrine
put in place, and I'd bet that sheriff is no different.
Government binds their hands. Yeah, well, maybe he is giving
lip service, but he shouldn't be doing that. Let's get

(23:49):
back to these. A fella with a gun engages in
a gunfight with the poopo.

Speaker 28 (23:57):
Turning after another deputy involves shooting, this one also turning deadly.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
This was in southwest Miami Dade.

Speaker 18 (24:03):
A man was killed after a shootout after or with
the Miami Dade Sheriff's Office sergeant, we do have local
times at linna'sho falls.

Speaker 13 (24:09):
She's live at the scene with new details.

Speaker 11 (24:10):
Lenny Good Afternoon.

just men when he caught it, and the police fired

Speaker 12 (24:34):
It was just like World War Three?

Speaker 6 (24:36):
Right.
