The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
At the Monday the JV Show.
Speaker 3 (00:04):
I'm Selena and I'm Jess. Did you guys know that
crazy cash is back?
Speaker 2 (00:08):
It's bye bye your chance to one thousand dollars on standby.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
We got that keyword for you. So today a little
bit different. We each we actually each got a first
talk back. Oh nicely of the day or from over
the weekend. Graham, Let's start with yours.
Speaker 4 (00:24):
Good morning JV Show. This is Rob from Berkeley. This
messages for Graham. Graham, Buddy, all I know is Friday
you said you weren't too worried about the Jaguars defense.
Speaker 5 (00:36):
Monday morning.
Speaker 4 (00:38):
Are you worried now? I don't know, dude, just.
Speaker 5 (00:41):
Checking to answer your question. No, I'm not worried now.
They Yeah, the Niners lost the game. The Niners had
more first downs, total yards, passing yards, and averaged more
yards per play than the Jaguars. Niners shot themselves in
the foot jack. Jaguars defense played well, and they forced
a bunch of turnovers. The Niners had four of them
and gave up a punt return for a touchdown.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Sang it, but you're not scared at all.
Speaker 5 (01:04):
Of the Jaguars defense.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
No, just in general.
Speaker 6 (01:06):
Of like how the Niners are looking.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
No, okay, I'm not and our bad Just to recap,
you had said, was it eleven wins?
Speaker 5 (01:15):
Yes, for our JV show JV show Season Long Football
VET three and one. They lost their first game yesterday.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
All right, I think they're still on on pace though. Okay,
now to my talkback.
Speaker 7 (01:29):
Bran Wood Selena, you were generous and picking six games
that the Raiders are gonna win. They'll be lucky to
win four. As a Raiders fan, I think they're gonna
win three games all year long. It's tough being a
Raiders fan. It is very, very tough being the Raiders fans.
It's not for the week, that's for sure. Not for
the week. Hope you guys have a good rest of
(01:52):
your week and a good Monday.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Hey, thank you for that. Yeah, I'm getting a little nervous.
Speaker 5 (01:56):
What was your number?
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Six?
Speaker 3 (01:57):
I said, we just needed six wins.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
I am getting a little nervous.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Now there are some chugging throw in like a win somewhere,
you know, keep it on, BA season.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
It's a long season.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
Is it a long season? For seventeen games? You gotta
find six wins, and you're going to find them.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
I don't know if you're doing much better. No, I'm
feeling good today.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
Hey, good morning everybody.
Speaker 8 (02:29):
It's one fifteen on Sunday afternoon, and I know him
a little bit early for first talk back the day.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
But good win, Jess, go Giants, good job.
Speaker 5 (02:40):
All right, let's go for the rest of the day.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
By yeah, why are they saying good job to Jess
as if she played?
Speaker 5 (02:49):
So the New York Giants got their first win? Is
that their first win in the seasons?
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Win of the season, you guys. Rookie quarterback Jackson Dart, it's.
Speaker 6 (02:58):
I think he's gonna He's gonna be what really turns
everything around for the team. We might have lost neighbors,
which I know he according to my fiance, he was
very bummed about.
Speaker 5 (03:09):
That, as he should be the very emerging best wide
receivers in the league, like a very special talent. He's gone.
And your rookie QB not having that guy to throw too,
you think is going to be the savior of the franchise.
List The dude threw for one hundred and eleven yards yesterday,
one hundred and eleven everyone's like touting this dude is
the savior. He do it for one hundred and eleven
(03:31):
yards yesterday.
Speaker 6 (03:32):
Can you can you let us be a little hopeful
at least.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Through it.
Speaker 5 (03:38):
I'm just saying, you guys want to you might want
to temper your expectations for that team.
Speaker 6 (03:42):
I'm remaining hopeful, especially because I really didn't go into
the weeknd thinking that they were going to beat the Chargers,
and they did.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
How many wins do you need? Four ours? I need
the five total?
Speaker 6 (03:54):
You got one, five total, one hundred and eleven yards, yes.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
Lost them untally good.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
I'm running today. I'd be that.
Speaker 6 (04:04):
I don't get to wear it often.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Whoof the JV show on Wild ninety four to nine,
I'm four the four things you need a heads up
on to start your day?
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Did you guys do that?
Speaker 3 (04:16):
Bad Bunny has been named the net Have Time. He
made the announcement on social media yesterday and then they
played his announcement during halftime of the Cowboys Packers game
to make it official. We don't know about any other
performers that are gonna come out yet.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
We just have Bad Bunny.
Speaker 5 (04:33):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
But as you know, a Super Bowl February eighth, twenty
twenty six.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Here at Levis, we.
Speaker 5 (04:37):
Have to check the prediction journal because I think you
guys all said Taylor Swift.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
I don't remember that, all right.
Speaker 5 (04:42):
It was not a good weekend for Bay Area football fans,
and Niners lost that Levi's to the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars
twenty six to twenty one. Rock Perty made just his
second start of the season after missing the last two
games with injury, and it showed he looked rusty. He
was off with his receivers. He had two interceptions and
a loss fumble, and now fumble really sealed the loss. Ultimately,
the difference in the score was the Niners special teams
giving up a punt return for a touchdown that was brutal.
(05:05):
And the Las Vegas Raiders lost at home to the
Chicago Bears twenty five to twenty four.
Speaker 6 (05:12):
Muggy morning with some rain throughout the day. Today there
is a slight chance of thunderstorms across the North Bay.
Don't say I didn't warn you. His will be in
the upper sixties to low seventies.
Speaker 5 (05:21):
Hey, Harry's bussy, Hey unit, Today's going to.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
Be in eight.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
The future seems much more enticing than the present now.
But that doesn't mean you should just sit around daydreaming.
Get off your butt and get to work on something big.
Just remember it's likely not going to pay off for
quite a while.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Oh, I guess sing it.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
So there's a word that you've said that I've said,
that we've all said before, and Gram you're telling me
I've been saying it wrong.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
We all have the JV show on Wild ninety four
to nine.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
All right, Graham, Well, it turns out, you guys, we
have all been mispronouncing the name of the hotel chain.
Marriott had a recent Q and A session with the
chairman of the board from Marriott Hotels, David Marriott himself
says that we have all been saying the company's name
and his family's name the wrong way, and he's going
to let you know how it is actually pronounced. I'm
(06:12):
going to give you a little tutorial on the correct
way to say it. And I love this story. My
wife used to be a school teacher. She taught English.
She had a student named Elliott and he kept calling
her missus Marriott, and she finally sat Elliott down one
day and she said, Elliott, how do you pronounce your name,
he said Elliott.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
He said, that's right, it's not Elliott, it's Elliott.
Speaker 5 (06:36):
It's the same way with Marriott. So the correct way
to say it is actually Marriott, Marriott Marriott, because Ellie
Ott is not well you'd say, you'd say Elliott if Marriott.
If Elliott is not Ellie Yacht, then Mary Yachtt is
(06:57):
not Marriott. It's Marriott.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Oh my god, that's so true. Marriott.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
His name David Marriott, so he knows not Marriott, my god.
So from now on, show un'sforth be known as the
Marriott Hotel.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
I don't like I can't like that.
Speaker 6 (07:15):
Why are you telling us?
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Now?
Speaker 6 (07:17):
You've let us say it wrong for all?
Speaker 3 (07:19):
And you would think they would have like coached their
staff on this, Like how come no staff members ever
corrected anybody?
Speaker 5 (07:25):
And how come there's never been a commercial that because
if they had, I guarantee that we've all seen at
some point. I can't think of one in my mind,
but I guarantee I've seen a Marriott commercial before in
my life, and they weren't saying Mary it because all
of us would have been scratching our heads like, wait,
what did they just say? No, there would have been
some other indication, some clue that we'd all been saying
it the wrong way. So yeah, why now? But he
(07:48):
I mean, you can't really argue with that's the way
that it is, said Marriott.
Speaker 6 (07:52):
Yeah, I'll never look at the word the same anymore.
Speaker 9 (07:55):
Mary.
Speaker 5 (07:55):
I guess theres probably some people that said that my
mind is like twisted on this now. Any time I
say it, I'm like, which way do I normally say it?
But I would normally say Marriott.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
Yeah, I feel like it's one of those things where
it's too late. I can't change my ways Marriott. I can't.
Speaker 6 (08:09):
Like I wouldn't if you say, oh, I'm staying at
the Marriott, I wouldn't even know.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
Yes, do you mean?
Speaker 5 (08:16):
Yes? You would, but you would say, don't you mean
the Marriott? What do you don't know? How to say that?
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Amazon is going to pay out a historic two point
five billion dollars in settlements to customers. What did you
guys join Amazon? Do you guys remember it's been like forever.
Speaker 5 (08:38):
An anniversary date time?
Speaker 3 (08:40):
I mean year, because I guess in order to be
eligible for a settlement payment, you had to have signed
up for Amazon Prime between June of twenty nineteen or
June of twenty twenty five.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
It's like, who was barely getting Prime that late in
the game, right, younger than that?
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Or attempted to cancel your Prime subscription during that time,
but I've success that.
Speaker 6 (09:01):
I think I've attempted to cancel, but I think they
reeled me back in how can.
Speaker 5 (09:04):
We live without Prime?
Speaker 2 (09:06):
Yeah, why would you cancel in the first place?
Speaker 5 (09:07):
One day shipping, the two days whatever?
Speaker 10 (09:09):
It is?
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Like, what, so the reason they're having.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
To pay this money out is because they're saying that
like users would try to cancel, but they would make
it like impossible to cancel, or they make it really
difficult or make them jump through through hurdles, or they.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Would enroll people without their consent.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Interesting, so how much do we get you they're capping
it at fifty one dollars for eligible customer. You think
it'd be more at two point five billion dollars and
they're like historic settlement here, I don't.
Speaker 5 (09:40):
Get fifty bucks after the lawyers take their cut, which
is a big chunk of it, and then you realize
how many Prime members there are out there till then, yeah,
they have the best deals. Everyone knows that, and then
they split it all up and then that's what you get.
Am easily fifty bucks.
Speaker 6 (09:56):
But I thought if a lot of people don't claim it,
then you get more even now.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
But if they fail, they're saying they're capping it at that.
Speaker 5 (10:03):
Capt means if everybody signs up, you could get less
than that. You could get less than that. WHI should
be and what's the point.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
The JV Show On Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 8 (10:14):
Good Morning j V Show. My name is Stephanie, currently
living in Houston, Texas. And I say currently living because
I'm always going to be from the Bay. Anyway, I
was listening to yesterday's show and I realize that I'm
the one number one JV show listener from Texas. Spotify
told me that the JV Show is my number one
(10:37):
podcast and I've been listening to you, guys what since
middle school and I'm thirty seven.
Speaker 9 (10:41):
Have a good day, guys, Bye bye.
Speaker 5 (10:44):
The battle for top JV show Texas listener continues. She
just entered the chat there and it's yeah, I don't
even know how we're gonna sell.
Speaker 6 (10:51):
Yeah, that was a mic drop too.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
She gave us like how long she's been listening.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
Even Spotify's approve Yeah yeah, came with her set.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Well, thank you for that. It's Wildney for nine. We
are the Jab Show. I'm Selena and I'm Jess. Don't forget.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
We are getting closer to six forty five, and it's
your chance to win a four pack of tickets too.
Speaker 6 (11:09):
Taylor Swifts the official release party of a Showgirl.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
That's her like movie. You were doing a screening so
it's gonna be a lot of fun again. That's six
forty five. Will be opening up the phone lines for that,
all right. So something else from Friday's show. I told
you how my daughter, Callie, she's only three years old.
She picked up a really bad habit.
Speaker 5 (11:26):
What was that bad habit? Again?
Speaker 3 (11:28):
Waving her middle finger around at daycare. Sometimes she goes
both middle fingers, Oh my god. And it's very unexpected
because she's this cute little thing and she doesn't know
the like what it means.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
She just knows she's not supposed to.
Speaker 5 (11:42):
Kids are very perceptive. She just knows it's bad, got it.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
She just knows it's bad and she's not supposed to
do it. And that's why she thinks it's hilarious and
she keeps on. She keeps on doing it, and I
was like, how do I make this stop? Biggest fear is,
you know, she does this at daycare, continues to do it,
and then another kid picks up on that, and now
they're doing it at home, and those parents come to
the daycare and like, where is she getting this from?
Speaker 5 (12:02):
And they you know, it comes back to me and
there you are wearing your Tupac T shirt with the
middle fingers. Exactly.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
She's the mom right there that taught my kid is
so thank you to everyone who left talkbacks on Friday.
One of these suggestions that really stood out to me was,
you know, every time she does that, take one of
her toys and you put it into a basket that
she cannot have anymore. You that's a good way to
like discipline her. Tried that and didn't work.
Speaker 5 (12:29):
Oh, she just flipped through the burdens like I don't
care about that toy, mom, It's like take that.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
She's three.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
So she sees me say hey, you can't have this anymore.
I put it in the basket. She does her little
tantrum thing. Problem is, she still has a million other
things to play with.
Speaker 6 (12:43):
Take all of it.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
Away, right, So do I have to wait like a
million times for her for her to do this? I
don't know. Maybe, but we only got to do that
for like a day, you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
So maybe just if we just keep at it and
we're consistent and taking things away, maybe she'll get it.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
But it was not working.
Speaker 5 (12:59):
Yeah, I mean eventually, Yeah, all the toys will end up.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
You'll have to run out of toys in the box.
You're gonna need more baskets.
Speaker 5 (13:06):
She's just gonna keep throwing throwing up middle fingers left
and right. I mean, I mean, you remember I told
the story on the air my son Ford, I mean
years ago, a couple of years ago, he was getting
into some trouble at school and like misbehaving and whatever
and all stuff, and I made him load up his
his monster truck toys, his favorite toys, and we took
him down to the good Will and I made him
donate them. He right, And he still talks about that
(13:28):
to this day. He remembers that a lot of people
left talkbacks back. That's too mean, you're being too ard.
You're gonna scarp. No, no, sorry, there has to be consequences.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
But how old, how old?
Speaker 5 (13:41):
Was he at that at that time, I don't know,
four or five, he's pretty young.
Speaker 6 (13:47):
Load him up, selenam up.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
Take it's a good will. I feel so bad.
Speaker 5 (13:54):
Other than that, like to learn lesson there has to
be consequences because if you don't follow through as a parent.
All parents were all guilty of this, and I particularly
this generation of parents, we all say these posts, you
do this, I'm gonna do this, and then you don't
ever follow through and do it. Then they just know
it's an empty threat. You got to say a thing
and actually do it.
Speaker 3 (14:13):
What about instead of like a negative consequence, a reward
system for her not doing the middle finger?
Speaker 5 (14:19):
There's that because a lot of people would argue that's
the better system than it probably is.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
But you know, right, you go a whole day no
middle fingers. Hey, you're gonna get a treat at the
end of the day.
Speaker 6 (14:29):
You go, but you don't know if she's or not
at school still right, But I would be able to ask,
you know, the daycare, right, But she's probably like sneaking
some in and she's like, I'm still getting a reward
at the end of the day.
Speaker 5 (14:40):
Yeah, mom doesn't know. Watch this be And then she's
just slipping flipping other kids off.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
I wish you guys can see it though.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
She's like the cutest little thing, and it's like it's
so like it's so unexpected when she does it, but like,
and it's so funny, but it's so hard to.
Speaker 5 (14:56):
Like not react, not like, I know, I want to
see it. Yeah, you so cute?
Speaker 6 (15:01):
You get it on video? Next time.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
I will try. I will try for you guys.
Speaker 5 (15:05):
A lot of people, a lot of thank you ever
left talkbacks last week because there were lots lots and
lots of different suggestions about how to handle this. But
I think you have a very I mean, you have
a tough case on your hands.
Speaker 10 (15:17):
I know.
Speaker 5 (15:19):
This one's not gonna be easy.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
I know the hottest.
Speaker 11 (15:23):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the Bay.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
So was Taylor Swift at the Chiefs game yesterday? Did
you guys watch any of the Chiefs?
Speaker 12 (15:37):
No?
Speaker 5 (15:37):
No, no, mainly because the fun Yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
I feel that way too.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
Well again, if you miss it, you didn't miss anything
because Taylor was not shown on the broadcast. There was
no Taylor swift in sight and everyone wants to know
every week issue there at the game. So everyone thought
she wasn't there because it's not like there was even
video of her sneaking in behind a bulletproof screen this time.
But according to people, she did secretly attend the game.
(16:02):
She just made sure not to be seen by anybody.
And you know, she's like a master of sneaking into places,
so who knows how she did it this time. Her
dad and brother were also there. They were seen hanging
out with Travis's mom, but Taylor did not make an appearance.
Speaker 5 (16:17):
So Taylor is going in full disguise at these games
because the cameras. Cameras will find her if she was
in view, sitting in a luxury box suite or whatever
where she could have eyes on the field, which is
the reason you go to the game. You want to
watch your man play, right, So she has eyes on
the field somewhere a camera would have found her and
spotted her. So she's going in full, like full disguise,
(16:42):
like talking like elderly lady, where is she sitting?
Speaker 2 (16:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (16:46):
Makeup?
Speaker 2 (16:47):
Yeah, then where is she sitting?
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Because I mean she's not sitting with her family obviously,
because he'd be like, hey, who's the weird, weird elderly
old lady in their in their box suite.
Speaker 5 (16:57):
You know, she's probably just got I'm sure she's got
an money. She's probably rented out another one, or maybe
she's sitting with you know, the ownership group or whatever.
You know, like she yeah, she's there somewhere else. But yeah,
she probably has like a walker with the tennis balls
and everything, and that way. The cameras just don't even
don't find her on the bron she's the mascot.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
It could be wouldn't that be crazy?
Speaker 5 (17:19):
Or she's the bear from Happy Gilmore too, she's do
bear suits. Yeah, but whatever she's doing, it's working. I
think she might be one of those like those guys
that you know is shirtless with the big belly and
that's not like the letter and she's one of them,
you know, she's painted and she's one of the letters
with the beer drinking dudes and she's just throwing high
vibes and whatnot, and she's just got a prosthetic belly.
Speaker 6 (17:42):
Yeah, maybe she's not even in the box. She's like
down on the field like that.
Speaker 5 (17:46):
No one's looking there, you know, she's a RAF, she's
dressed up. This is this is getting good.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
Jimmy Kimmel is fully back.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
So just to put a wrap on everything that's been
going on with his show. On Friday, Sinclair announced that
they would go back to running Jimmy Kimmel Live. You know,
they own nearly forty ABC stations across the country. And
then hours after that, Next Star also announced they would
go back to running Jimmy Kimmel.
Speaker 5 (18:12):
So Jimmy Kimbole is.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
Fully back across the nation.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
They said that everything that was going on, it just
led to more discussions about and this was from viewers
and advertisers, and they said different community leaders, but it
was leading to discussions about keeping Jimmy Kimmel on the
air and how that would be key to fostering respectful
dialogue across differing voices, right, and so it would be
a good thing to have him back on the air.
Speaker 5 (18:38):
Yeah, and free speech, that whole thing.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
Yeah, And advertisers are probably starting to pool.
Speaker 6 (18:44):
Yeah, that's the money we really caching.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
Maybe money had something to do with it, Graham, what
do you have all right?
Speaker 5 (18:50):
Sam Bruno. Police we're out in full force over the
weekend for a DUI enforcement operation. While I'm sure they
nabbed some of you idiots for driving under the influence,
their most notable bust was a self driveing Weimo car.
Officers spotted this Weimo swerving all over the place, clearly
intoxicated and I'm kidding. They spotted a Weymo make an
illegal U turn. They say this was in the area
(19:11):
of San Mateo Avenue near the sam Bruno cowtrain station.
They said this is the first time responding officers had
ever pulled over a Weimo. I didn't know that that was.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
They do they know how to get pulled over?
Speaker 5 (19:23):
I guess they do, because they pulled over the Weimo.
But then when the officer walks up to the car
to discuss why they pulled over, I don't know. Does
the Weimo roll down its window and then there's nobody's
sitting there? Like how did that part? I want to
know how that went. But they in a post on
social media that sam Bruno PD said, quote, since there
was no human driver, a ticket couldn't be issued. Our
(19:45):
citation books don't have a box for robot and they say,
as of now, there's no law that allows officers to
issue citations to autonomous vehicle companies where they when their
vehicles violate traffic laws. So they don't even It's like
I can't write a ticke it to the driver because
there is none, so I should be able to write
a ticket to the company, right, And they say that's
(20:07):
not even an option yet, But there is legislation that's
in the works for officers to be able to eventually
issue these types of citations. And we know as more
and more autonomous cars are on the streets, they say
they want to figure out why programming made it make
an illegal U turn, like it shouldn't have done that,
and it shouldn't not that should not have been part
of its programming for it to even make that.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
Just getting smarterang were going to start bypassing all the
laws and all the rules.
Speaker 5 (20:36):
It's going to start driving just like the rest of us.
It's going to be like texting the whole time, getting
away like yeah, and then just smashing into stuff and
then yeah, the officers like do you know why I
pulled you over the way? Most just sitting there car, Yeah.
Speaker 12 (20:50):
No.
Speaker 6 (20:51):
Ration, hello, Like they can't show anything.
Speaker 5 (20:54):
Which is kind of bs. But I am also I
do think It's funny that it pulled over. You know,
thet puts the lights on behind it and then it
and it knew, it knew, Like, ah, damn it. I
shouldn't have done that. You turn busted.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
That is crazy.
Speaker 5 (21:08):
They should be able to write a ticket to the company. Yeah,
they show someone has to have something because the rest
of us would have gotten a ticket right.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 9 (21:17):

It looked amazing.
Speaker 14 (21:26):
Have a good day.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
Hi.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Yeah, we are going to talk about the wedding and
what that was like. Oh, we're gonna do that closer
to eight oh five. We have a lot of winning
and games we.
Speaker 3 (21:35):

about our weekend and how Crystal's wedding went.

you guys ready for today's clip.
Speaker 12 (21:50):
Yep. I was super excited for some but as soon
as I took it out, it softened up.
Speaker 5 (21:57):
Yeah. That sounds like you problem more than name the problem.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
Oh wow, what are we talking about?
Speaker 5 (22:04):
Well, I mean it could be, yeah, the problem. It
could but it as you are, you problem. Blame it
on them though, Well I know that, but let's just
say it might be your fault. All right, think about
what the bleeped out word could be. Then take your
guests over to the iHeartRadio app. We have a talkback mic.
That's how you that's the best way to engage with
the show, interact with us. You leave a little it's
(22:26):
like a voice memo to us and we'll get your guests.
Leave us your name and your city. Along with your guests,
you have to be the very first cruick Cans in
the morning to win the JV Show Chuck Mug.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.
Speaker 3 (22:37):
Before we get back to what the bleep crazy cash
is back on Wild, every hour you've a chanced to
win one thousand dollars grand.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Well, what is this hour's keyword?
Speaker 5 (22:44):
This hour's nationwide keyword is red. That's read all right,
take that keyword over to wild ninety four nine dot com.
Enter it there and that's all it takes. Sketchy and
the running for one thousand dollars in Crazy Cash. But
also you guys, because I was like, why is the
keyword read this? Doesn't you know? Cash is green red?
Because every one thousand dollars Crazy Cash winner enter to
(23:06):
win a trip to iHeartRadio's jingle Ball in New York City.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
Love that for you, So good luck into that word
right now. Back to what the bleep?
Speaker 3 (23:15):
Yes, more winning happening right now, your chance to win
a chug mug. You just have to be the first person.
A guest Today's leaped out word correctly. As always, when
you think you know what it is, leave your guest.
I'm the talk back mic on the iHeart Radio app.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
So here's today's clip in case you missed it.
Speaker 12 (23:28):
I was super excited for some but as soon as I.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Took it out, it softened up.
Speaker 4 (23:35):
For that.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
Yeah, yeah, anything I can do. Let's go to your guests.
I remember this is a family show.
Speaker 8 (23:41):
You girl, I gave you good morning JV show.
Speaker 9 (23:46):
This is Kristen out of Oakland.
Speaker 8 (23:48):
I'm gonna hope that it's cheese.
Speaker 4 (23:50):
Cheese, Jess.
Speaker 9 (23:51):
I'm hoping that it's cheese or breathe.
Speaker 8 (23:55):
Yeah, I hope that's what it is.
Speaker 5 (24:00):
You guys ever had some bree go too soft on you?
It's gross.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
I don't like you delicious, it is good. I don't know.
I don't think I've had it super soft.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
I don't like it when if it's like out on
a charcoterie board or something, or a cheese board or whatever,
and it's been out and it's warmed up too much,
it gets like it's too it's like too soft to handle.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Yeah, just been Morgan.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
My guess for a bleeped out word is ice cream.
Speaker 5 (24:26):
Thank you, ice cream. That's a very very popular guest
this morning. Oh that's right, husky. Two words. We're looking
for a one word.
Speaker 10 (24:35):
Er, good morning.
Speaker 5 (24:37):
My guess for the leaped out word is chocolate. All right,
this is Andrea from Albany. Have a good morning. Thanks
that there's a good guess. Particularly during summer. I don't
know that I keep my chocolate in the refridge, you know,
like keep it cold, but I probably should because yeah,
nothing worse than opening up some kind of candy bar.
(24:58):
Or something. It's all melty the insight.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
I hate that thing, all right, No one's gotten it yet.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
If you think you know what that bleeped out word is,
leave your guests right now and the talkback Mike on
the I Heart app.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
We are going to play more of your talkbacks coming up.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Playing what the bleep?
Speaker 3 (25:15):
Where all you have to do is be the first
person a guest today's leaped out word correctly, and we're
going to send you this JV Show chug mug. All right,
So here's today's clip in case you missed it.
Speaker 12 (25:22):
I was super excited for some but as soon as
I took it out, it softened up.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Sick Yeah time, wow, It's not on me A little bit,
a little bit of both. Anyways, this is a family show, go,
so let's go to your talkbacks.
Speaker 12 (25:40):
Hi.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
My name is Eddie, and I think the bleeped out
word for today is popsicle.
Speaker 5 (25:47):
Great, yes, Edie great? Yes, he earned from sam Ley Ango.
And I think the bleeped out word is gelato. I
have a good one to think, I guesses. Yeah, first
we had meat popsicle, then we had gelato. Yeah, what
do they say, MS guest is nacho.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Nacho cho?
Speaker 5 (26:16):
That was a pretty popular guest this morning, are you guys?
This may be an unpopular opinion. I don't care if
my nacho chip is soggy and flimsy or if it's crunchy,
and as long as the toppings are loaded on there.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
Gotta be cunchy.
Speaker 5 (26:32):
If I've got to use a fork to pick up
that week chip, I don't care. It's all the other
stuff that goes on top that makes nachos games.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
I'll still eat it, but I don't. I've got I
do too.
Speaker 5 (26:43):
But what about something like a chili killes or something
where your chips are inevitably generally have to get.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
Pretty soft, like that're expecting it.
Speaker 6 (26:50):
Yeah, when you're not expecting it, and then they're all
soggy at the bottom, I'd rather just eat the toppings.
Speaker 5 (26:55):
Then, I'm just saying, play the soggy nachos ain't gonna
phase me.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
I'm drunk, so I just want to eat them somnase.
Speaker 9 (27:06):
I want to think that the.
Speaker 7 (27:07):
Bleep Dot word for the day is mochi.
Speaker 15 (27:12):
Yeah, I hope it's the right word.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Have a wonderful Monday, but there is all right. So
here's today's club unbelief.
Speaker 12 (27:19):
I was super excited for some mochi, but as soon
as I took it out, it softened up.
Speaker 6 (27:26):
I hate it when when it softens up, but then
the outside is still like kind of hard, so you
don't know it's softened up until you grab it.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
And then it's also I'm not mochy person.
Speaker 5 (27:35):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (27:35):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (27:39):
That's Ruben my fiance too.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
I don't understand. I had it a couple of times.
It's okay, I mean it's not. I don't really care
for it. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (27:47):
I love that Trader Joe's the mango mochi. Oh it's
so good.
Speaker 6 (27:53):
It's it's like you get the perfect combination of different textures.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Yeah, it's the best. It's the best. I don't like it.
Speaker 6 (28:00):
And it's especially if you like aren't full on, like, Okay,
I'm gonna sit down and have some ice cream mode,
but you want a little taste.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Of ice cream.
Speaker 5 (28:07):
It's just like a nice little frozen tree.
Speaker 2 (28:08):
Yeah it's not for me.
Speaker 5 (28:09):
A little mochi ball or two not two balls? If
you want all right more, first, let's uh, well, let's
give some shout outs show we let's do it. Nelly
in San Jose, what's that? Kelly?
Speaker 2 (28:22):
What's up?
Speaker 5 (28:23):
She had the very first correct answer this morning, and
I'm gonna just flat out and say it. Competition was
not fierce this morning. I mean a lot of talkbacks,
a lot of guesses, but not a lot of correct
answers coming in. She was first, and you know, kind
of by a lot. Kelly in San Jose also came
with the correct answer this morning, So shout out to Kelly.
But Nelly not to be confused with Kelly, but they're
(28:45):
both from San Jose, Nelly and Kelly. I see how
this could get confusing.
Speaker 12 (28:48):
Nelly is the one that he first using a different
name Nelly and Kelly.
Speaker 5 (28:53):
Alias maybe you have. But Nelly in San Jose had
the first quest danser this morning, So Nellie will be
getting that JB show Chuck, Nice nice job everyone else?
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Also, nice job, King, Yeah, everyone else, thanks so much
for playing. We'll do it again tomorrow morning, same time.
You're on the JV show.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
Let's go to the phones Wild for nine. Hi, who's this?
Speaker 5 (29:13):
This is Lowell and Zain Lowell and Zaane or Dane
Zay with.
Speaker 2 (29:18):
The z Vaine with the z Okay. I had to
make sure because Jess told me it was Dane I did.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
And any chance to say that Jess screwed something up,
I will, I will take that, I said, Lowell and.
Speaker 5 (29:31):
Dane.
Speaker 3 (29:31):
Definitely glad to have you guys on this morning.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
How was the weekend? It was awesome?
Speaker 3 (29:38):
Thank you?
Speaker 2 (29:39):
Yeah, good, glad to hear that. Hopefully we can get
your week started off right. You were gonna be playing
the JV shows. Yep, nope, game es. What are they
playing for today?
Speaker 6 (29:46):
You guys are playing for two tickets to check out
Zara Larson.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
All right, So here's how it works.
Speaker 3 (29:51):
We're gonna ask you four random tribute questions, got to
get three correct, and the tickets are yours. Okay, all right,
all right, so here's question number one. A drum Graham,
Do you do this to me on purpose?
Speaker 5 (30:04):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (30:04):
A dromedary is the term used to describe a camel
that has how many humps?
Speaker 2 (30:16):
What was that you said, too?
Speaker 5 (30:21):
One the one camel, the old one hump camels? Yeah,
I like the two hump camels. Better me too, hump.
That's Monday guys, shut it all right. Question number two.
Eggs Benedict is a popular breakfast eem that features poached
eggs and Canadian bacon on an English muffin covered in
what kind of sauce?
Speaker 2 (30:41):
Egg bets? Gosh, I have no idea.
Speaker 5 (30:47):
I want to say cheese, but that sounds wrong. No,
it's not a cheese sauce. Do pick another kind of sauce, dum,
I don't know, tomatode. Eggs Benedict is covered in Hollandais sauce.
(31:09):
Hollandaise sauce. That's what makes it eggs ben.
Speaker 6 (31:14):
Do we like that?
Speaker 2 (31:14):
I've never had it either.
Speaker 5 (31:16):
It's good.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
What is the thought made out of?
Speaker 5 (31:18):
It's hollandaise sauce? I don't know. Okay, don't ask. Don't
ask the big mac what the secret sauce is made
out of?
Speaker 7 (31:25):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
It's just delicious, all right, you guys need well, let's
just go to question number three. A coven is the
word used for a group of what popular Halloween figures?
Speaker 5 (31:37):
Oven?
Speaker 4 (31:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (31:42):
Uh, witches? Yeah, coven is a group of witches.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
You got a bunch of them. They're a coven?
Speaker 5 (31:52):
Yeah? All right? Question number four, you guys need this
one to avoid me shouting holy horrible trivia and then
quitting the show.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
Or is the name of what type of animal from
Winnie the Pooh?
Speaker 2 (32:06):
Ye, least you go, at least you go. When you
guys still did not win our nope game. We enjoyed
having you guys on.
Speaker 3 (32:21):
Hopefully you had fun at least. But don't hang up though.
I'm gonna put you on hold and Jess is gonna
pick up in the next room. Okay, thank you, all right,
no problem, Hey on, dang it, I'm so well No,
not really.
Speaker 10 (32:35):
Good morning JV Show family. I'd like to give a
shout out to my nephew Jayden out of Santa Clara.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
Who the fat is a good point, honest.
Speaker 11 (34:52):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
and music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories.
Speaker 3 (35:01):
Kulina Gomez and Benny Blanco got married. So they got
married on Saturday, which was the rumored wedding date if
you recall, so everybody was right about that. The wedding
was in Santa Barbara Goga chows. Yeah, gocha's Selena wore
a Ralph Lauren wedding dress. Cauld I pause right there,
(35:21):
really quick, because remember when Taylor Swift got engaged, both
Taylor and Travis wearing Ralph Lauren outfits, and people thought
it was some kind of like endorsement deal. Does it
seem a little strange that now we have Selena Gomez
wearing a Ralph Lauren wedding dress.
Speaker 5 (35:35):
I find it very strange.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
It seems is this like a little sus right, Yeah,
maybe they paid her to wear it. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
By the way, Taylor was there at the wedding. She
did go without Travis Kelsey. He stayed behind because he
obviously had a game yesterday. She made it to the
game as well. But you know, it's a different little
it's a little different for her because she's not the
one playing.
Speaker 2 (35:54):
So she did go to the wedding.
Speaker 3 (35:56):
There are photos of Taylor arriving at the airport in
Santa Barbara, and she is being shielded from view by
like twenty black umbrellas, so.
Speaker 2 (36:03):
No one can see her. So still we know she
was there, but like no one has.
Speaker 3 (36:07):
Caught a glimpse of her, Like there's no pictures that
we know of, at least not yet. Back to the
ceremony though, so Selena Gomez was walked down the aisle
by her grandfather. There's reports that that caused a little
bit of drama with her mom because her mom was
hoping to be the one to walk her down the aisle,
but Selena had already chosen someone else.
Speaker 5 (36:27):
Others select the kidney.
Speaker 2 (36:30):
No, no, no, I don't even I don't even think
she was there.
Speaker 6 (36:33):
I don't think she was I don't think they're friends anymore.
Speaker 12 (36:35):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
Other celebrities in attendance aside from Taylor, Ed Sheeran was
there Paris Hilton, Paul Rudd, and her other co stars
Martin Short and Steve Martin.
Speaker 2 (36:46):
Both Taylor and Ed reportedly gave speeches at the reception.
Speaker 6 (36:49):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
The pictures that.
Speaker 6 (36:51):
Benny Blanco posted.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
She looks so good.
Speaker 6 (36:54):
I think she looks adorable.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
She did look really good.
Speaker 5 (36:56):
What about him?
Speaker 2 (36:58):
He's there too, he looks like him. He's in the picture.
Speaker 5 (37:00):
Says well, we need to talk. We just we need
to put a pin in this and talk about this
in a minute, because Selena, you and I were at
another wedding, a less important wedding in my mind, on Saturday,
just kiding our buddy Crystal got married. We're going to
talk about that coming up. But I have a funny
story involving Selena's wedding at Selena and Benny Bloco's wedding
(37:21):
also being on that same day, and something that I
blurted out, but I was really it was a misunderstanding.
But explain it.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
We'll do that next. Yeah, really quick.
Speaker 3 (37:32):
Just a couple more things regarding Selena's wedding day, because
a couple of our exes got dragged online for something
that they they did, so, the first person being Charlie Pooth.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
Charlie did a little run of performances.
Speaker 3 (37:46):
In New York City and on Saturday, the day Selena
got married, video started circulating of Charlie Pooth at his
show performing the song that he has with Selena Gomez.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
We don't talk anymore. It never was like you, I
didn't perform like any other song. It's like her wedding day, Like,
come on, what does that matter?
Speaker 5 (38:06):
That's a big song, right, well.
Speaker 6 (38:08):
But does he say this is Does he perform this
song any other times?
Speaker 2 (38:12):
Maybe he does?
Speaker 3 (38:13):
Oh so, I don't know, but people are pointing that
out a little, you know, interesting there Sunton's choice of song.
Maybe the other exo was getting dragged Justin Bieber because
an hour after Selena Gomez posted her wedding pictures, Justin
decided to post pictures of him playing some basketball.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
But the song he chose, oh God. He posted it
to his song called I Do on Selena's wedding day.
Speaker 5 (38:39):
I mean, other people can't live their lives on I guess.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
Not sure, but like, one, what does that? It's like,
what does that have to do with your basketball pictures?
Speaker 3 (38:47):
Like it looks like you are one not over her,
and two you want attention on her, Like you can't
stand everyone talking about Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, so
you have to do something.
Speaker 5 (38:55):
I guess yeah, probably, God, it.
Speaker 6 (38:58):
Must suck to be in Haley though, because they will forever,
like they're gonna have three, four or five children and
they'll still be like, oh my god, he did this
because Selena Gomez.
Speaker 2 (39:08):
Like, yeah, had always be comparisons.
Speaker 5 (39:10):
I know, how many years has it been since the
two of them broke up?
Speaker 4 (39:13):
Jeez, let it go.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
They got me. Justin and Haley got married in twenty eighteen.
Speaker 5 (39:16):
It's been No, they've been married that long and we're
still talking about that one before that. Wow.
Speaker 2 (39:22):
Yeah, oh my gosh.
Speaker 6 (39:24):
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez and they.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
Broke up in twenty seventeen. Twenty eight yeah, twenty eighteen. Sorry,
long time ago. All right, Grammy, what do you have?
Speaker 5 (39:33):
All right, take a moment saying goodbyes to that aggressive
squirrel that had been going nuts in Sarah Fell and
attacking people. Oh you see what I did there?
Speaker 12 (39:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (39:41):
Little much?
Speaker 2 (39:42):
He got him?
Speaker 5 (39:42):
Not, yeah, he did. We talked about the squirrel last
week after two different residents of a Lucas Valley neighborhood
were bitten by it. They had to go to the
hospital for treatment for their injuries. Officials are now saying
the squirrel is likely no longer with us, although they
have not been able to confirm it. They say there's
been no sightings over the past few days, and they
believe this squirrel was raised by humans likely doesn't have
(40:04):
these survival skills to live out in the wild on
its own. That's why they think it was attacking people.
It's getting frustrated lashing out when humans that encountered it
were not feeding it. Wildlife officials say they've seen this
behavior before, and it's generally a baby squirrel's fallen out
of a nest or something. People come along, Oh, I
want it, Let's take it home and raise it themselves,
and they say that that usually backfires because this is
(40:28):
a wild animal and while it may, you know, interact
with you and be its pet, in situations like this
then it can become very aggressive and frustrated easily and
then attack people. They say, even if he is still alive,
they're on the lookout for him. If they catch him,
he will be euthanized from all the chaos that he's caused.
They says, a unique caramel or caramel color if you will,
(40:52):
so if you run into him, protect your face, legs,
and nuts, because he is a vice. Yeah, yeah, I
mean it.
Speaker 2 (41:01):
What hap been a rehabilitation. I thought, that's what we're
all about here. Let's just get the squirrel the help
that it needs.
Speaker 5 (41:06):
That's what we should I mean, JV Show Squirrel weeks,
not for a while, but we would be, yeah, lobbying
for that. I guess. The other possible scenario is that
maybe its owner, if it was like a pet squirrel,
maybe they found it, you know, after all the reports
like there's nutty and they went and found him and
they brought him.
Speaker 3 (41:22):
Back to the case it could be and that the
squirrel is still live somewhere, all right, Well, thank.
Speaker 1 (41:28):
You, Grammy the JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 3 (41:31):
So Saturday, Graham and I we went to our buddy
Crystal's wedding. Graham, what did you what did you think?
Speaker 5 (41:38):
I thought it was a lovely day, lovely ceremony night.
Speaker 3 (41:41):
I will say we got lucky with the weather because
I mean, this was Saturday, it was a nice, sunny,
beautiful day, and then yesterday it was cloud cloud overcame
dark and depressing in today.
Speaker 2 (41:52):
Possible thunderstorm, And we got really lucky with the weather.
Speaker 5 (41:55):
Saturday we did, and thankfully it was in the backyard
of the groom's mother's house and it was a beautiful house,
and then we were in the backyard, and luckily it
also wasn't too too sweltering hot. I mean, it was
pretty hot during the ceremony, and I had a vicious
case of swamp ass, but it wasn't It wasn't as
bad as it could have been because I've been to
some wedding. I went to a wedding in Palm Springs
(42:17):
one time, and I was wearing a black suit. It
was like one hundred and ten. I mean I had
to ring out my socks later that day, you know
what I mean. So this one it was warrant. Yeah,
they got lucky. It was a perfect day and beautiful couple,
and we're obviously so so excited for both of them.
I'm glad that they included us, even though we were on.
Speaker 2 (42:34):
The B list for the in not make the cut
for the first the first round of we weren't a.
Speaker 5 (42:39):
List cuts out. I called Crystal out on that and
I basically got her to admit that we were Effectively
they had something. They got a few nose and we
squeaked in there. But I mean, I feel like they
were glad that we got in there. Right, Selena, I
mean her dad or mom so excited to see us say,
was that an act could have been? Could have been?
Speaker 2 (42:59):
Did you never know?
Speaker 9 (43:00):
All right?
Speaker 5 (43:00):
I mentioned this earlier that there I had one little
kind of little whoopsie, a little mix up at this
wedding because during the cocktail hour hours a lot of drinking,
I was, we were enjoying ourselves. We were sitting at
a table and that's when the news or the first
pictures broke of the Selena Gomez Bennie Blanco wedding, and
(43:22):
you guys were at our table holding up those pictures
or whatever. And look, I don't find Benny Blanco to
be the most handsome guy in the world. And so
I was like, they're like, oh, you guys are like, oh,
she looks so pretty, and and then I was like, yeah,
but did you see the groom not realizing that. Look,
we're at a wedding and the table next to us.
(43:43):
You should have seen the dagger eyes come in my
way because they think I'm talking about the groom. You know,
Crystal looks fantastic, but whoa if you've seen the groom,
me is not. And it was a table of I
think his family's sitting next to me, and they all
turn and looking at me, and they were all saying stuff,
and I couldn't. I wasn't about to be like, I'm
actually talking about Benny Blanco, and then it wouldn't have
(44:04):
made sense, you know. So I think I had a
couple of enemies there with a couple, but it was
just a bit of a misunderstanding. That was not my intent.
I was not insulting the groom. I wasn't trying to
make a joke about but they don't know that a
different group they don't and I'm trying to clear that
up now because the evil eyes.
Speaker 2 (44:22):
Everyone there were so great.
Speaker 3 (44:24):
So yeah, like you said, it was in the groom's
grandmother's backyard, which one very smart. You saved a ton
of money, you know, and it was we kind of
ripped like the garden formal dress code. But when you
get there, it makes sense because the backyard is just beautiful,
like yeah, it just flowers everywhere. It literally was like
fairy tale vibes.
Speaker 2 (44:46):
It was so cute.
Speaker 3 (44:47):
And then you did see some people were like, well
they didn't get the dress code memo because they were
wearing like you.
Speaker 5 (44:51):
Know, I'm glad you brought it up, because there look
garden formal. I had a suit on, a tie pocket square.
You know, I was dressed. I was dressed up garden
formal because formal. Even my wife was nervous. She's she
had like a floral dress on, but it wasn't full length.
And she's like, any if it says formal in the name,
the dress got to go all the way down and
(45:12):
hers was like three quarter or you know, whatever it was.
And she's like, I don't you know, I feel a
little uncomfortable. But she'd be all the way down. And
then when there were there and most people look, they
got the memo, they were dressed up. And then you
look over and there's dude with truck her hat on backwards. Yeah,
And I was just like, what part of garden formal
is backwards trucker hat?
Speaker 1 (45:32):
I mean, come on, what on?
Speaker 2 (45:34):
What like regular clothes?
Speaker 3 (45:36):
Like even if it wasn't garden formal dress code, I
wouldn't go and like my everyday jeene right, do you know?
Speaker 5 (45:42):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (45:43):
It's like a wedding.
Speaker 5 (45:45):
It was jeans and backwards tag. Guy. I guess I
only I only was very like wondering about that because
our buddy Crystal again, she used to if you are
new to the show, she used to be on this
very morning show with us, and we love her. But
she had even posted something on her story that day,
like a quote saying, if anybody comes underdressed to my wedding,
I'm sticking them at the table in the back and
the bubble. And it wasn't something she'd written, it was
(46:06):
something she'd reposted, but about taking the dress code at
her wedding very seriously. And then there's trucker backwards struck
her handcut And here I am sweating, just dripping sweat,
and the sun blaring on me, and I got a
suit buttoned up, but you.
Speaker 2 (46:19):
Stuck to the dress code.
Speaker 6 (46:21):
Yeah, you think that that happens more now that a
lot of people put all that information on websites that
people don't even look at.
Speaker 5 (46:27):
Sometimes I just I think you, I don't care what
you list on whatever wedding invitation making. Everybody has a
family member or something that's gonna wear whatever the hell
they want to ye to happen, and my wedding happens
at everybody. It just does. You just have to just
you have a you're engaged, you have a wedding, come home.
You you're gonna say black tie and you're gonna see
some somebody's gonna show up in overalls, you know what
(46:48):
I mean. It's just like people just don't care.
Speaker 3 (46:51):
But I think Christo had a really good attitude about everything.
I mean, weddings are stressful enough, and she she seems
like she was very just like go with the flowy,
like just enjoying, enjoying the day. And that was our
first time meeting her. Her now husband, Oh my god,
the greatest guy ever. Yeah, he's awesome, So happy for
Crystal and Robert Graham. You left a little earlier.
Speaker 5 (47:10):
Yeah, what time did I did? What time did you
make it too? Because it was we had to bail
out at some point because our kids were with the
end laws for the nights. We had a kid free
date night at their wedding, which was great, but we
have the dog at home and she was pushing almost
eight and a half or nine hours and we're like
we have to leave. We can't, like, you know, she's
gonna the carpet is about to be dixperienced one of these,
(47:32):
So we got to get out of there. But we
stayed till I don't know, almost ten, I can't remember.
It was late.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
So I was there till like ten thirty, okay, And
but you missed it like during the like actual like reception,
you know, dance dance part of it, Crystal surprise to
her husband with a performance she performed.
Speaker 2 (47:51):
She sang for him and it was so because she's
sang Edda James at last and it was so good.
Speaker 5 (47:58):
Really, yes, dang it, it's the Crystal Show. We iged
right before that. The old Irish could die. Got to
get out of here. We walked home in a ditch though,
was the only problem. We got out of there, and
there were shuttles taking people back to where the parking
area was, and the shuttle wasn't there yet, and we're
like we were stressing out because like we got to
get back the dog handbone has been home for almost
(48:18):
nine hours, like this is her, that's her limit. And
so the shuttle wasn't there, and I looked to see
how far we were from where everybody had parked, and
I was like, it says, it's like a seventeen minute walk.
And Kate's wearing heels, and Kate's like let's walk. I'm like,
are you sure we could call a car or something?
Get along walk? She said, no, let's walk.
Speaker 2 (48:38):
All right.
Speaker 5 (48:39):
I'm I'm not opposed to walking. You're the one that's
in heels. And then I was thinking, I don't think
I don't remember seeing too many sidewalks on the walk
that we took on the shuttle to get here. We
get out there, it's the darkest road with no sidewalk.
Cars are blazing down this thing at like forty five
fifty miles an hours, no street lights. Anytime a car
was coming, we had to climb down into the ditch
to avoid being Yeah, people are looking at us like
(49:01):
two people dressed up, you know what in the swingers party?
Gone wrong? Is going on here? And climbing in and
out of the ditch a couple of times like just
stay in the ditch, there's another car coming, Just stay in,
Just stay in, and then we'd climb out and then
but we did eventually make it back.
Speaker 2 (49:16):
I cannot believe your wife is going to do that.
Speaker 5 (49:18):
I'd be like, right when we got there, the shuttle
pulled up, so we could have just been on the
the whole time.
Speaker 3 (49:26):
We screwed up was any part of you like, no,
I'll walk, it's dangerous, you're in heels, and I'll bring.
Speaker 2 (49:31):
The car to you. Oh that's nice.
Speaker 5 (49:33):
Chivalry is dead. In twenty twenty five, I thought.
Speaker 2 (49:36):
Did not cast me dying Saturday at Crystal's wedding.
Speaker 5 (49:39):
No more, that was it. That was a less instance
of it.
Speaker 2 (49:43):
But congratulations to christ so much fun.
Speaker 1 (49:46):
On Saturday the JV Show on Wild ninety four.
Speaker 13 (49:49):
Nine, Glad you guys brought up that Bunny Jazz because
me and a couple of my friends were sitting around
after it was announced, thinking, wasn't he the one that
took his tour out of the country to protect his people,
and yet he's going to have it here now on
the biggest stage ever.
Speaker 3 (50:08):
I don't know.
Speaker 13 (50:09):
My friend was feeling like he was a little bit hypocritical,
but I don't know. I'm wondering what his fans in
the US are going to think now, the ones that
couldn't get at the show.
Speaker 2 (50:19):
Wow, that I didn't even consider that.
Speaker 5 (50:21):
I had thought about that because this up until this point, Yeah,
he avoided doing US any shows, right tour dates and
kept him out of the US, and then yeah, now
what a pivot? To the biggest, the absolute biggest possible stage,
which is the halftime show. It's a once in a
lifetime opportunity. It's tough to turn that one down, even
if you oh, right.
Speaker 3 (50:42):
But I don't blame his fans for feeling some type
of way if I mean, if they do, like, do
I feel like I should know this?
Speaker 2 (50:48):
I'm just blinking because it's a Monday. Do performers get
paid for the Super Bowl halftime show?
Speaker 5 (50:52):
I didn't think they did. Oh, but you're getting the
it's just the exposure TV.
Speaker 6 (50:58):
Events, is I feel like I couldn't expect him to
say no.
Speaker 5 (51:04):
Yes.
Speaker 6 (51:04):
I like that he has been you know that he
has spoke out about it, and I hope he continues
to do so. But I think this is an opportunity that.
Speaker 2 (51:11):
Is like, I mean, yeah, you can't say no unless
you're Cardi B.
Speaker 6 (51:16):
By the way, I went back to the prediction Journal,
which I still don't believe that Cardi B maybe was asked.
Speaker 2 (51:22):
I don't either, but go ahead.
Speaker 6 (51:23):
Back in June, you both said that jay Z was
gonna be the one to perform. You guys were like,
this is his year. Yeah, this is probably the last
time he would don't remember that.
Speaker 5 (51:33):
I actually, that's right. I still think he's I still
am shocked that he hasn't done it.
Speaker 2 (51:38):
Yeah, I think he.
Speaker 6 (51:39):
Will at some point, but I think given that he
has such a big part in it, it's kind of like,
I don't know if he ever will.
Speaker 3 (51:46):
I think he'll get a lot of backlash. Backlash, Yeah,
criticism maybe is a better word. If he picked picked
himself to be on that stage as well in the.
Speaker 5 (51:55):
Era of social media, yeah, people would have some thoughts,
but of somebody that's deserving, and how's it big enough
repertoire of hits to do it? He certainly checks that.
Speaker 2 (52:05):
Back's No, that's true, all right.
Speaker 3 (52:07):
So experts are warning that along with all the other
issues that come a standing around playing video games, like
increased anxiety, you know, it could lead to depression. Then
there's like physical things like ice train obesity from just
like sitting there.
Speaker 2 (52:21):
On top of all that.
Speaker 3 (52:24):
Experts are saying that it could lead to like a
gambling problem later in life. I guess like games like
Minecraft in Fortnits. I see, I've never played either of
these ams. I'm gonna read what this article says, and
it doesn't really make sense. To me, but maybe you listening,
it's gonna it'll make sense. It says that, you know,
in many ways these video games, many of which have
(52:45):
like loop boxes that can be won or you can
buy things in the game to allow the player to progress.
They're saying that's priming them for gambling at a very
young age by impacting their thought processes.
Speaker 5 (52:57):
But there's like, but like, how is this new. There's
been rewards in video games from the beginning of video games.
Like you're running a Sonics running around collecting gold coins.
Do you think I'm like now like, oh my god,
I gotta get more coins. I don't. There's been there's
been these rewards systems and video games forever. Although I
(53:22):
will say, having watched my son and become addicted to Roadblocks,
that to me is just one giant slot machine addiction
for kids. Those games are totally most of them are
completely pointless, and they're just like sitting there like ding
ding ding ding ding ding ding ing, and there's a
bunch of flashing lights in there, getting and they're actually
there's no it's optional. Yeah, there's no actual strategy skill
(53:46):
nine those games. And I'm just like, this is this now,
this is a problem this I can see leading to it.
It is just it's like a slot machine for toddlers. Yeah,
roadblocks is.
Speaker 2 (53:57):
I mean, well, I guess it's all of that.
Speaker 3 (53:59):
They're saying that young men, boys are more vulnerable because
they're prefrontal cortex. That's a part of the brain that's
responsible for decision making and risking and risk evaluation.
Speaker 5 (54:11):
It's really really part is still development.
Speaker 2 (54:13):
Yeah, it's small as it is. And then you write
a brain away on these video games, and what do
you have left?
Speaker 5 (54:18):
Right?
Speaker 6 (54:19):
Is there a certain age where you allow your kids
to start playing video games? Because I feel like, compared
to like a phone, you parents tend to allow allow
their kids to play video games a lot sooner.
Speaker 3 (54:31):
I think it's okay, but like in moderation, like I'm
struggling with my with my son, like addicted to roadblocks
to where I'm having to like set a timer, like hey,
when this goes off, we're putting it away.
Speaker 5 (54:41):
And I looked at there all day. Yeah, no, totally,
I hate it.
Speaker 2 (54:44):
It's so bad.
Speaker 3 (54:45):
And then he's asking for like he's asking me for
like real life money you just spend in the game.
Speaker 12 (54:49):
No.
Speaker 5 (54:49):
Yeah, And then they want yeah, and then they want
to spy your money, Like, dude, I need some roebucks
because then I can get a faster this. I'm like,
well what happens if you get a faster this? And like, well,
you get more stuck, you know, like you get again.
It's pointless. It's like they're just it's a it's a
loop of pointlessness. But they are getting over stimulated by
all the the flashing lights and all this stuff. I mean,
it legitimately reminds me of people sitting there in front
(55:11):
of a slot machine just hitting the button over and
over again. Because there's no skill. I'd have a lot
less trouble. Like you know, it wouldn't bother me if
my kid was playing a video game then involved strategy
and skill. I think Minecraft and some of those games
are different because it can be building stuff and using
their creativity. Roadblocks say, it is just trash. In my mind,
it's garbage.
Speaker 1 (55:31):
It is the JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.
Speaker 2 (55:35):
Hope he had a good weekend. Thanks for hanging out
with the JV Show.
Speaker 3 (55:37):
I'm Selena and I'm justsing before we get to what
some potential home buyers are doing.
Speaker 15 (55:44):
Good morning, guys, this is Marjorie calling from Richmond. I
wanted to talk about the Bud Bunny halftime show. He
came out saying that the only reason why he was
doing the super Bowl is because it's televised, unlike his
concerts that he said he will not do in the US.
Those are his fans coming in to see him, and
he didn't want to risk them being deport or anything
(56:06):
like that. So and he also wanted to bring the culture.
He's by the culture up at the halftime show.
Speaker 5 (56:11):
Got it, Thank you to everybody left us to talk back.
We had a lot a lot of people even to
talk about because we had played one earlier with a
woman questioning was just sort of not questioning, wondering about
whether or not fans were going to see as kind
of hypocritical that he did not do a US tour
and is now going to play the halftime show. And
(56:32):
we got a lot of talkbacks, all saying exactly what
was just said right.
Speaker 2 (56:35):
There for clarifying.
Speaker 5 (56:37):
Yes, all right, Graham, all right, So if you are
thinking about purchasing a home, here is a new trend
that buyers are asking sellers provide, and that is, let
us have a sleepover in the house.
Speaker 2 (56:50):
Yeah, that's weird.
Speaker 5 (56:52):
They're saying that this is the biggest purchase you are
going to make in your life. You test drive a
car before you buy it, and that car is a
teen C ten C tiny fraction of the price that
you are going to spend, particularly here in the Bay Area,
on a house. Why should you not get to try
it out before you buy it. You get inspections and
(57:13):
you do all this other stuff on the house. But really,
people want to know how do I feel in the house?
Am I going to be able to hear cars blazing
down the road at all hours of the night? What's
the traffic leg in the middle of the night, what's
my commute to work like in the morning, leaving at
particular times? Are the neighbors up fighting all night long?
You want to know what the feel and what the
(57:34):
sound of the house is going to be like? So
why not let us have a sleepover?
Speaker 7 (57:38):
Now?
Speaker 5 (57:38):
Look, a lot of sellers probably not very comfortable with this.
You don't own this house yet, and you're gonna I
got to move out for the night and let you
move on in here and stay. But many agents and
buyers agents are saying, look, they put down a deposit
kind of works. Just like an airbnb. You have make
sure that you have some temporary basically insurance that covers
if anything was to go wrong while they're staying, you know,
(58:00):
because you know they might want to try out the
stove and not know how to use it. The next
thing you know, your house is burned down. There are
some things that could go wrong, but you have insurance
for that, and they can basically set it up so
that it you know, it works kind of just like
an airbnb. Would you, guys, if you were wanting to
buy a house, would you like to have a one
night sleepover in there ahead of time?
Speaker 2 (58:20):
I would?
Speaker 9 (58:20):
I would.
Speaker 6 (58:21):
I want to know, like you said, Graham, how it
feels basically to be living there, how loud is it
at ten pm at night? But I will say if
I'm the if I'm the seller, hell no, I don't
want you sleeping in my bed unless you're bringing like
a sleeping bag and like sleeping in the living the
floor something.
Speaker 5 (58:38):
But they don't have to go in there and use
your toothbruss or anything. You could have them sleep, yeah,
someone in a different room or the guest room or
something like that.
Speaker 2 (58:46):
Monitor what they're doing.
Speaker 5 (58:48):
Well, that's like, you know, putting your house up on AIRBA.
Speaker 2 (58:51):
Yeah, and I would never do that either. I'm with Jess.
Speaker 5 (58:54):
But but do you want to make a sale. Let's
just say you don't have any other Let's just say
you don't have any other offers on the table. And
these people, look, they're interested at the price that you want,
and that number is a good number. And they said, look,
the one thing we want to do just to make
sure we really, really truly love this place, is spend
the night in there. Otherwise we're going to walk.
Speaker 6 (59:11):
What if you get scammed and they just use you
for Airbnb.
Speaker 3 (59:14):
For that night?
Speaker 5 (59:15):
Some I read in the article. I read some people
were charging money for that night.
Speaker 3 (59:20):
Dang, all right, So like what if it's one of
the houses that's it's like unfurnished, like nobody lives there,
it's a new house, Like do you you know what
I mean?
Speaker 5 (59:26):
Get your air mattress.
Speaker 6 (59:28):
Yeah, I would want to do this though I would
also you you want to know like vibes, you know
the vibes. The vibes are like what if it's haunted
and you hear a bunch of oh my god, Yeah,
and the doors are slamming all night and.
Speaker 2 (59:41):
Yeah in the corner.
Speaker 5 (59:43):
Yeah, I would want to know that stuff, right, Look
the amount of I mean, I encourage people, if you
are in the market to buy a house, to really
do your due diligence. Go drive over there in the morning,
try your commute from there. You know what I mean.
You can do everything you possibly can't. Spend time in
the neighborhood, drive by that night. You know, you can
really like do your homework on a on a piece
(01:00:04):
of property. And you should because it is the biggest
purchase you're ever going to make in your life. So
you should kick all the tires and do everything that
you can. And I would, if given the opportunity, I
would want to spend the night in the house. But
as a seller, I could see I'd have a few
a few different I'd have a few reservations.
Speaker 6 (01:00:21):
I'd want to have a couple of cameras, and they're
just in case take a look at what's going on.
Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
Maybe in the bathroom, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:00:30):
You thought the husband was hot. Camera, couple of showers,
A couple of shower cameras.
Speaker 2 (01:00:36):
All right, we are.
Speaker 3 (01:00:37):
Getting to today's hottest trending, Hottest.
Speaker 11 (01:00:42):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the Bay.
Speaker 3 (01:00:51):
So j Low just said divorce from Ben Affleck was
one of the greatest things to ever happen to her.
So she's out promoting her new movie Kiss of the
Spider Woman, Remember the one that she looks exactly like
when Stefanian.
Speaker 2 (01:01:04):
Yeah, it's a musical. By the way, I will not
be watching.
Speaker 3 (01:01:08):
But she was on CBS Sunday Morning yesterday and she
spoke on her divorce and she said, you know, while
shooting this movie, it was really hard for her because
this is.
Speaker 2 (01:01:15):
When her marriage was just going down the drain. She said,
it was really tough.
Speaker 3 (01:01:19):
It was the best and the worst of times in
a way, like every moment on set I was doing
this role, I was so happy, but then back home it.
Speaker 2 (01:01:27):
Was not great. But you just get through it.
Speaker 3 (01:01:29):
And then she said breaking up and the divorce was
the best thing that ever happened to her because it
changed her. It helped her grown away that she needed
to grow, to become more self aware and to just
live in the moment and to appreciate the present and
that she's a different person than she was prior to this, and.
Speaker 5 (01:01:45):
None of the other failed engagements or marriages or whatever
did this for her. Just this one, just this one,
this one. I remember when they got back together, and
you guys like, this is the greatest it's the greatest
love story. This ain't it.
Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
I had high hopes. I'm not gonna lie I made
today that I thought they were I was lost.
Speaker 5 (01:02:05):
I was pretty skeptical given both of their track records.
Speaker 3 (01:02:08):
Yeah, yeah, never mind, you were right, Graham, really quick,
honey booboo, she was in I hate.
Speaker 2 (01:02:16):
Calling her there. She's Alana, Yeah, Alana.
Speaker 3 (01:02:19):
But people know where it's honey booboo. Her mom shared
that she was in a really scary car accident. She
was leaving her house in Denver and she was tea boned,
and she said that she is a little banged up.
She's like, okay, but yeah, pulling out of her driveway,
she got right there on the driver's side. So I
cannot think of anything scarier. Yeah, but that she's okay.
(01:02:43):
But still, there's your honey boobooup date. Because anyone's wondering
what she's been up.
Speaker 2 (01:02:46):
To these days.
Speaker 5 (01:02:47):
I had not been.
Speaker 2 (01:02:48):
Wondering, Yeah, I don't think anyone has. Uh, Grammy, what
do you have right?
Speaker 5 (01:02:52):
Niners had a frustrating loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars that
Levi's yesterday. Things apparently boiled over after the game between
the two opposing coaching staffs as the two sides convened
on the field. That's usually where the pleasantries are exchanged.
A good game, good game, good game didn't go that way.
Jags coach Liam Cohne went up to Niners defensive ter
coordinator Robert saw and said, keep my name out of
(01:03:15):
your mouth. And this was I'm sure in reference to
Sala saying this week to the media that Cohen and
the Jaguars staff are among the best in the NFL
at stealing opponents signs and signals. Sawa said they do
it all legally, but I think this accusation ruffled some feathers.
Sala did not back down on the field, and if
you have seen Robert Sala, that dude is jacked. I
would never want to pick a fight with that guy.
(01:03:37):
He's a monster, he's huge, he got real hot, and
he had to be held back by some players, saying quote,
I will f your world up you don't want to
f with me, I will effing end your effing life.
A lot ex hurled there, and we don't know what
was said after that again, as the two sides were
restrained and then everybody retreated to their opposing locker rooms.
(01:03:59):
There didn't speak to the media after yesterday's game. Coach
Kyle Shanahan did and he was asked about it and
he said, quote, I didn't see what happened, so I'm
not sure. I don't think he talking about Cohen the
Jacks coach should be that sensitive about it. But that's
the way that it is. Oh so maybe another little
shot there about being sensitive. I understand why the Niners
(01:04:23):
tempers were probably little high. That was a frustrating game yesterday,
a sloppy one that they very easily could have and
should have won but didn't. And the Jaguars coaching staff,
I guess, not happy about being called out by that death.
Speaker 2 (01:04:36):
But we was drama.
Speaker 3 (01:04:41):
Better than reality TV since I know, all right, well,
thank you, Grammy. Next on the JV Show, we are
going to be talking about our photos from home.
Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
Plus we'll find out how Jess weekend was.
Speaker 1 (01:04:51):
It's all next the JV Show on Wild ninety four nine,
Good Morning.
Speaker 14 (01:04:56):
JV Show, the stay sift from Oh my god, I
totally loft my voice fall from yesterday. I did not
see you guys there. Hello, I'll see you guys. Photo
and videos of the weekend. Matt Daddy shout out to
you for winning that bowling thing and winning twenty five
hundred dollars.
Speaker 3 (01:05:15):
That was off the hook.
Speaker 14 (01:05:16):
He had to do specific things on the bullying lanes
and he nailed it. It was insane. Congratulations, Good for you, Daddy.
Speaker 5 (01:05:26):
Matt Daddy knows his balls, that is for sure. And
did you guys not attend fulls from Street first? Actually,
you know, I was busy that study said you didn't
see me. I was a guy wearing the leather leader
hosen with the open flap in the front and it
open flap in the back. I don't know how you
do flap. Maybe you didn't recognize me, but I was
there a great time.
Speaker 2 (01:05:45):
It is Walady for nine.
Speaker 3 (01:05:46):
We are the JB Show. I'm Selina program and I'm Jack.
You're a key word for your chance on a thousand
bucks that's on standby. Before we get to your weekend, Jess,
we were talking about people who are in the market
to buy a home, and there's a new trend where
they're asking for a in the house just to try it.
Speaker 9 (01:06:02):
Yeah, hey guys, it's cat audible and that creak.
Speaker 5 (01:06:05):
Oh wow.
Speaker 9 (01:06:06):
I never thought about how little time we spend in
person in a house before we buy it. Like, I
don't know why that never occurred to me. You just
get this one walk through during an open house, and
you kind of like, you feel like you're a rash,
like you can't spend too much time there at the
real time I come talk to you, we don't want that.
You just avoid eye contact and leave, and then you
(01:06:26):
put an offer in on it. And it's like all
this money, I definitely spent more time buying my latest
suitcase in person.
Speaker 5 (01:06:34):
It's so so true. You do. I mean, think about it.
You get that one walk through, and like whenever there's
particularly in a competitive market, when you're like other offers
coming in, we got to put our offering. Do you
want to put an offer? And we should put an offer,
and let's write our offer up. You have spent a
total of about thirty seconds inside a house and you
leave later that day you're like, was there a bathroom
(01:06:54):
in that bedroom. I can't remember, like you can't even
remember the details of the layout of the place. Whereas
when I'll sit and put something in my Amazon cart,
I don't know if that's the right one. And I'll
go back spend more time with all these other purchases
in your life, and they are the tiniest fraction of
what you're going to spend on a house, a house
purchase you'll ever make in your life. And we have
(01:07:15):
to do it rushed and with one little tour. You
want it, Okay, Yeah, you're in all right, make an
offer that's so sure. You start bidding against people and
you're like, I forget what I'm bidding on. I don't remember.
Speaker 2 (01:07:26):
Experience that because of the bay. Yeah about that, Jess.
How was the weekend?
Speaker 6 (01:07:32):
You guys?
Speaker 2 (01:07:33):
The weekend was so fun.
Speaker 6 (01:07:34):
So we were in Temecula for a wedding, but we
happened to stop by the casino before.
Speaker 5 (01:07:40):
Uh oh, naka Pajega Yet I've been there, You've been
there every casino in California.
Speaker 6 (01:07:49):
I figured that is now my favorite one because you guys,
I actually did some gambling over the weekend. Not very
like me, because I hate losing money, like even if
you have a gambling problem.
Speaker 2 (01:07:59):
If I put twenty.
Speaker 6 (01:07:59):
Dollars down and I lose those, I'm like, I'm out.
Speaker 2 (01:08:02):
That's enough for me for the day. Right, But I
don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:08:05):
I was feeling a little lucky, right. I was watching
my fiance Rubin and his buddies, like, you know, play
blackjack and do all that. I was kind of just
learning from the sidelines. But then I was like, you
know what, let's go to roulette like that for me
seems more fun, and so we get there.
Speaker 2 (01:08:23):
As soon as we get there.
Speaker 6 (01:08:24):
I'm like, you know what, you know, I'm all about
the vibes, right, I'm all about like what am I feeling.
I was like, m I'm feeling twenty nine, So but
I should have trusted my go right, But I was like,
I'm feeling twenty nine.
Speaker 5 (01:08:35):
But you know how you're able to split Like if
filling twenty nine years old or the number twenty nine
numbers twenty nine, I got it, yeahcause you're thirty day. Well,
I'm just saying I thought you're, you know, filing twenty
nine to that day, so.
Speaker 6 (01:08:47):
I it was a fifteen dollars entry. I don't know,
I don't know the terminology for gambling, So forgive me there,
but you're able to split it into three. So I
was feeling twenty nine, so I went for twenty nine
five dollars there and then and I picked two other ones. Right, okay,
what does it land on twenty nine?
Speaker 14 (01:09:05):
You say?
Speaker 5 (01:09:06):
WHOA?
Speaker 6 (01:09:07):
I wish I had like a video of my reaction
because I was very loud, very obnoxious at that moment.
Speaker 2 (01:09:13):
But I had one are you kidding me?
Speaker 6 (01:09:16):
Like I need to go play the lottery, because what
do you mean that I guessed twenty nine? I even
said it out loud, and that was the number that
it came down to.
Speaker 5 (01:09:24):
Lottery roughly one in three hundred and two millions power
ball were not roughly one thirty seven.
Speaker 2 (01:09:33):
It was a little different.
Speaker 5 (01:09:34):
Just just to put it in perspective that it feels
good when you hit the number that you picked.
Speaker 2 (01:09:40):
So I from five.
Speaker 6 (01:09:41):
Dollars, I got like one hundred and eighty something, I think.
So I was like, all right, Like I only played
one more time and then I lost there, so I.
Speaker 3 (01:09:51):
That was it.
Speaker 5 (01:09:52):
Yeah, and then you walked out with some actually cashing
your probably did. So now you're a gambling.
Speaker 6 (01:09:57):
Enthusiast you could sell I am, I really am. I
like the thrill of it, and Graham, I gotta say,
I gotta apologize, I think to you.
Speaker 5 (01:10:07):
Let me turn my headphones up.
Speaker 6 (01:10:08):
Even I just didn't really understand what what the thrill
of it was maybe so fun, you know, I think
I was just I was like, but why, but why?
Speaker 2 (01:10:18):
But now I get it. I understood. It's still just
a lot of risk. But the reward I don't like. Reward.
That's what gets That's what gets people.
Speaker 5 (01:10:29):
Yeah, I'll just say, you know, you have to go
into it knowing that you know, whatever money you bring
you're likely going to lose it all or whatever. You've
go in with that mindset going, I'm paying for the entertainment,
and it's fun at through lett Will and people are
high fiving each other. It's a social thing and everybody's
celebrating a lot of times. There's free drinks involved.
Speaker 2 (01:10:47):
In you know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (01:10:48):
It's just that it's your it's your entertainment, and you
know what.
Speaker 6 (01:10:52):
I guess what made me a little bit more brave
is that I wasn't using my money. I was using
my fiance.
Speaker 5 (01:11:00):
It's just a little easier.
Speaker 2 (01:11:02):
Let's go to our photos from home jab Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (01:11:06):
I swiped and swaped, Jess, your photo is not from
uh the casino, No, we were.
Speaker 6 (01:11:11):
At a wedding, so this is from the wedding. So
shout out to Alyssa and Arturo. They had a beautiful wedding.
It inspired me to start planning mine because I haven't
really been.
Speaker 2 (01:11:21):
Going finally much.
Speaker 6 (01:11:23):
But oh my god, their wedding was so beautiful. But
now I'm like, dang, they had some really good ideas,
Like how did they come up with these things?
Speaker 2 (01:11:31):
Like what what was what was the best idea they had?
Speaker 6 (01:11:33):
Oh my god. You know how at the end of
the night usually they have like some extra food for
the guests to indulge in.
Speaker 2 (01:11:39):
They had an in and out truck.
Speaker 5 (01:11:41):
I love that, guys.
Speaker 6 (01:11:42):
I was like, mind blown, that's a great.
Speaker 5 (01:11:45):
Yeah, I get a double double late night after you've
been dancing and drinking.
Speaker 2 (01:11:49):
Form WHI how much that costs? How much does it
cost to get an in an out truck? I looked
it up.
Speaker 6 (01:11:52):
I think for for two hours for around two hundred people.
It's like three thousand, two hundred something.
Speaker 5 (01:11:58):
Money will spat you can win don't roulette and get
that back.
Speaker 1 (01:12:01):
Yeah, wedding.
Speaker 5 (01:12:03):
So this is a great photo of you and Ruben.
What was the theme of this wedding Halloween funeral. No,
it was like guys are in all black.
Speaker 6 (01:12:10):
Yeah, so all the guests had to be wearing like
all black, got it it. It actually looked really beautiful. Yeah,
I'm sure their pictures came out.
Speaker 2 (01:12:17):
Very like classy.
Speaker 5 (01:12:19):
Yeah, I think.
Speaker 3 (01:12:20):
And then I'm swapping back over my picture because we
were also at a wedding, a lot of weddings over
the weekend. Crystal got married, So my photo is me
and my daughter at the reception.
Speaker 5 (01:12:31):
I thought, no, kids were a lot at this wedding.
Speaker 2 (01:12:33):
Uh, yeah, they're not.
Speaker 3 (01:12:34):
But I asked Crystal in advance and she says, yes,
su Wow, you got like a special exemption.
Speaker 5 (01:12:38):
I did. Look at you, Look at you. Mine is
a picture also from Crystal's wedding, also has Selena in
my picture and Selena's sisters in my picture as well,
and then we're posing with the gorgeous couple there. So
we had a blast at their wedding. Congrats to Crystal
