so great meeting everybody. Do we still have like five
thousand Chuck mugs left because we're trying to get rid
of them.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
We gave a lot. That was one of the big
draws last night. A lot of people got their brand
new JV Show Chuck mug. People had been camping out
in lining all hugs for the Chuck mus and to
meet Fred Warner. Fred Warner, who is an incredibly nice
guy and incredibly handsome and also like He's listed at
six three and look, I'm six two and three quarters.
But like he just looks he's like two of me

(02:01):
put together. Like that guy is just solid muscle. And
even though he's injured, man, you just the guy's beast.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
The one thing everyone said about him was like, man,
he is so nice.

Speaker 3 (02:11):

man crush.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
You do, yeah, don't you.

Speaker 6 (02:16):
That's why Graham stood right next to him and take
a picture.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Yeah, he was like out of the way.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Me first, I didn't know if they suld like put
my hands on his shoulder because he had to be.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Sitting down on the chest. You should have put your
hands on his chest. He's recovering from ankle surgery.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
But I thought about like giving that behind, you should
wrap around, hug from behind.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
And then I just I just put my hands in
my pockets.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Bread scared, chickens out.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
I did chicken out. But super nice guy.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
And again, thank you to everybody that came out to
support that event and that all benefit benefited the contracost
in Salona County food banks, and I know they really
We met some people from the food bank.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
They appreciated all the donations. They got a lot was
just so awesome. That was awesome.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
We've been talking about Thanksgiving songs a lot here on
the JV Show.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Our favorite, obviously is the green Bean Cat. I got
a DM.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Somebody wants to throw this song into the ring. Okay,
let me know what you guys think. It's not like
a like an actual, like recorded record from an artist
or anything like that. This is clearly somebody just making
something fun on social media. But let me know what
you guys think about this song.

Speaker 7 (03:21):
Okay, I bet you never heard a Thanksgiving song like
this before. Mean a side chick, but I'm a side bitch.
Mashed potato, sexu gravy, I'm a play get dick.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Thanksgiving.

Speaker 5 (03:32):
It's my favorite holiday.

Speaker 8 (03:36):
Creamed corn, oh whit savory? Will the turkey be a
little dry?

Speaker 9 (03:40):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Maybe?

Speaker 8 (03:41):
Granny Granny getting hurt never had a dinner role on
this day That wasn't for all the family. They line
up outside fighting for the first position.

Speaker 10 (03:48):
It's a cat.

Speaker 8 (03:49):
By then on my left shoulder, I feel attacked. My
favorite cousin with green in a plastic bag.

Speaker 6 (03:54):
Hell yeah, ten baby blaize.

Speaker 8 (03:56):
When is family born than forgetting holiday?

Speaker 7 (04:02):
I ain't a side chick, but I'm a side bitch.
Meshed potatoes, sextra gravy, I'm a plate gifting. Thanksgiving is
my favorite holiday.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
What do you think?

Speaker 6 (04:13):
I love it.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
It's got some elements of uh. I mean it's no
green bean cast roles.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Well it's bad.

Speaker 6 (04:21):
I like it.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
It's fun, it's catchy. Move your head a little bit.
It's funny.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
But there's nothing like that green bean, you know.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
Yeah, And I do.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Want to issue an apology.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Yeah, we haven't been playing this much as we should
have been leading up to Thanksgiving, and I feel like
that's on me.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
I really dropped the ball. So from here on out,
I mean, we're once every hour.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Every time you win Meghan.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Trainer tickets, We're gonna play it. That's what Megan Trainer
would have wanted. Yes, she loves thanks.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Why are you act to that?

Speaker 3 (05:02):
She died like still wish? Those are her wishes? You
got it all right? Next her last her wishes? Thank
you for clarifying.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Next, it's our cool or not list the JV Show
on Wild ninety four nine Time four The four things
you need a heads up on to start your day.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
So the twenty seven year old man who shot and
killed Coach Beam from Laney College, Cedric Irving. He was
in short, he was in court yesterday for his first
appearance there.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
He is being charged with murder.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
He did not enter or please You'll have another court
date December sixteenth where he will enter his plea. Then,
Marshaun Lynch was there in the courtroom yesterday along with
Coach Beams family.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Yep, all right.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
The Warriors in Orlando last night, taking on the Magic
in the fifth game of their six game road trip,
and unfortunately, after winning three of the first four games
of this trip, luck was not on their side last night.
They lost to the Magic thirteen. Steph Curse scored thirty
four points in the game. Jimmy Butler added thirty four.
That wasn't enough. Now, going to make a short trip
over to Miami for a game against the Heat tonight
before they finally get to come back home.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Warriors. Heat tips off this afternoon at four thirty.

Speaker 6 (06:09):
Oh mass mostly cloudy skies today. Highs will be in
the upper fifties to lose sixties. There may be a
sprinkle or two early in the day, but most of
the rain will hold off until after your evening. Come
youute and then on an off showers overnight.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Hey Jim and I Besty.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Heyday, Today's going to be a seven.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
There is an important conversation that finally needs to be
had today. Keep in mind that as much as you
need to get off of your chest, the other person
needs to get their two cents in two. Make sure
you're listening at least as much as you're talking, and
everybody should leave happy.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
Oh I don't like that.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
No, it's more fun to rant like Yeah, people.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
You listen to me?

Speaker 3 (06:44):
Ye say, I thought this is the perfect job for us.
Have you realized that? Yeah, it's great.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 11 (06:53):
Good Morning JV Show, Tracy, one question I have to
ask Graham.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
We need a trainer update.

Speaker 12 (07:03):
What's going on?

Speaker 13 (07:04):
Bro?

Speaker 12 (07:06):
Inquiring minds want to know.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Oh, hear about that, Jose from Tracy. You already know
the answer. Still my property, of course it is. You
guys have got dropped off. He goes to me, And
now it's been pouring rain. That just getting pounded by
rain the other right now it's a muddy mess. I
now owe this thing.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
I've turned over a new Let me just throw out
my new idea and maybe this can be a cool
or not Because cool or not, I've now begun pitching
my wife on the idea idea that we should take
this thing off his hands, make him an offer, and
then start renovating it and have it as a thing
to rent out, like an Airbnb type situation, Like you

(07:46):
could come big, stay in the thing.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
It's an RV.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
What do you mean you can stay in it?

Speaker 14 (07:50):
But you said, oh, I guess you'll if you renovate it.
You'll fix that giant hole you said with you.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
You know, I mean it's a piece of junk right now,
but like I can, I.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Could fix it.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
You made it sound like it was so just like dilapidated.
Like then, no, don't know. Did you see the house
that I just did. Did you want had holes and
was keeping it on itself?

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Did your wife say no, she's not on board.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Just think about it.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
It could be cool. Doesn't require me to get any
permits that all that. Then just buy a new one.
I think I can do it cheaper and I can
just customize the thing, make it cool the way that
I want to do it, and I rents it out
pretty soon the thing pays for itself. Do you know
how to rebuild an RV?

Speaker 1 (08:33):
I don't, but I can figure it out.

Speaker 14 (08:36):
I think you're only doing how to build stuff. Your
first mistake, which was agreeing to have them drop.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
It off again.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
Yeah, agreed, But now that it's back, I feel like, dude,
I damn near own this thing. I could just take
it off his hands for a freaking song, like it's
practically mine. I probably don't even have to pay anything
for it, and then I just start building this.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Right, and yeah, don't make him an offer. If you
do want to keep it, don't make him an offer.
Just ask him, hey, do you want me to keep it?

Speaker 3 (08:59):
You don't want it? Do you want me to keep it?

Speaker 2 (09:00):
And he'll say yeah, he clearly doesn't want it.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
He'll give it to you for free. So you're coming
around on mic No, no, not cool. Cool, But if
you were going to you don't pay for it.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
Anyways. I'm starting to plant those seats because I have
a feeling this thing's gonna be there for a long time.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
It is okay, so I might as well start working
on it.

Speaker 14 (09:18):
No, Graham, I think you need a text him and
you need to be like, hey.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
I'm over that song and dance. I've moved on to
a new chapter. Okay, well, then keep it. It's yours,
but build some.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Stuff with light it on fire and be done with it.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
It's mostly metal. I don't think it'll burn. I've looked
into that. How do you get rid of this thing? Exactly?

Speaker 15 (09:40):
All right?

Speaker 3 (09:41):
Our official cool or Not list starts now with Graham.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
All right, what do you guys think cool or not?
Forehead kisses?

Speaker 6 (09:48):
Now?

Speaker 4 (09:48):
Look, I'm going to ask this because both of you
ladies on this show, we've talked about four head kisses before.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Love getting forehead kisses from your man.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
Oh I love it when he does it so sweet
it makes me know that he's caring about me or whatever.
There is a growing sentiment online and we may have
even talked about this before, but this is only getting
louder in the echo chamber that is social media. But
more and more women are posting about how the forehead
kiss is the kiss of doom that the in a

(10:16):
new relationship or a you know, a relationship that's you know,
fairly established. I'm not saying in your guys' case, because
you're in long term relationships, but in sort of that
growing relationship the second year man lays a forehead kiss
on you. All these women are like two weeks later
they were gone ghosted me.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
I've never experienced so that was the sign.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Even an early on forehead kiss that was just like,
I mean.

Speaker 6 (10:38):
I mean me too.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
It's never ended two weeks later anytime after that?

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Do you think forehead kisses are a little like do
you not kiss your wife? No, because she's taller.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
She is tall, and I'd have to get on a
little step ladder to kiss her forehead. I just to me,
it's too like I forehead kissed my kids, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
It's sort of this. It's very parental in my mind.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
But I think that it's I'm going to.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Kiss my wife. I'm going to kiss my wife.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yeah, but I think part of it is like comfort. Yeah,
not like a not like a romance thing. It's more
like a care protect thing. And that's what it feels like.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
I'll kiss her cheek, kiss maybe even the side of
her hair, you know whatever, And while you know we
got a big hug going, Okay, well.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
I mean that's the same, that's like the same thing
as a forehead kiss.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
It's not because I don't forehead kiss.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
Okay, but I'm saying that that feels the same ya kisses.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
Like you know, you wake up in the morning before school,
you don't feel that good. Your mom drops a forehead
kiss on you, Like, that's not the bottom.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
I'm going for fore head kisses from my parents. Really? Wow,
do you need some sad music to talk about how
you're neglected? It's gonna be a really short story. Yeah.
I didn't get any fore head kisses from my parents.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
Oh and that's why.

Speaker 14 (11:58):
Now you create that from a party the trauma. Now
that I think about it, I guess I didn't either.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
I crave it now this is I'm glad we've had
this therapy session.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
Now we've figured out are the only ones that like
for it? Kids? Why you guys are dating your dad?

Speaker 2 (12:13):
I do have daddy.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Yeah, see that's part of it.

Speaker 6 (12:18):
No, but we can't be the only one.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
Sleek that issues.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Of course, not.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
Issues. I probably dwell a minute seeing there's something about
that forehead kiss, like you you're it's your guys dynamic.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
It's different comfort, but it's different. It's like different than
a mouth kiss.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
I know it is.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
It's like getting a kiss from your parents.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
No, it's like it's like a I care about you.
It's like this this ultimate.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
Sweetest, which is the one that's been missing because your
dad didn't show you that affection when you were younger.

Speaker 15 (12:54):
Music.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
I think you have to try it on your wife, no,
her parents, But doesn't it.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Come down to how it makes her feel?

Speaker 14 (13:01):
And you know what it is too, It's that I
know he's not It's not like he's making out with me,
like with the intent of it leading somewhere else.

Speaker 6 (13:09):
I just know that it's him being like I like you.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Yeah, it's like a sweet thing.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Oh, here's some more daddy. I love hearing you guys
work out your daddy. She's in real time? Is this
so sweet? At least you guys have each other. You
have a little think you have to try it, Graham,
you have a little support. You have to try it.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Just get her reaction and maybe there's some women who
don't like it. If she doesn't, then I'm fine, that's
clearly you're signed to not do it. But what if
she's like, oh, swoon, melt, what if melt?

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Yeah, thanks for filling that piece of my heart.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
What's your wife's sign?

Speaker 1 (13:39):
My dad?

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Yeah, what's your sign. She's a Taurus.

Speaker 6 (13:42):
Taurus interesting, let me look at up.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
Oh, you can google Google weather like forehead dances.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Jes get out of here.

Speaker 6 (13:50):
You look that up.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
Next, we're going to talk about this survey that says
seventy two percent of Americans struggle with this one certain thing.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
Chances are chances are it's you. Oh do you have
the answer now?

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (14:02):
Tauruses they like.

Speaker 14 (14:04):
They generally like four head kisses, see proof cuts.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
Full.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Also a Wild Wednesday, which means next we're going to
open up the phone lines for your chance to win
these Megan Trainer tickets.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Go Rammy, what.

Speaker 6 (14:22):
Do you have?

Speaker 5 (14:22):
All right?

Speaker 3 (14:23):
According to a new survey, seventy two percent of Americans
struggled daily with sleepiness. What how is this new?

Speaker 4 (14:32):
I was like, who are the remaining twenty eight percent?
Like I did to talk to you? Maybe they're asleep
right now. Maybe they were asleep during the survey, so
they weren't struggling with sleepiness at the time, because who
doesn't struggle daily with sleepiness? But according to the American
Academy of Sleep Medicine, they're the ones that did this survey.
They found again, seventy two percent say sleepiness sometimes oftener

(14:52):
always gets in the way of their everyday activities, and
it affects things like their mood, stress and anxiety levels,
and their work PRODUCTI again, who are the remaining twenty
eight percent of people that sleepiness does not impact their
day to day life.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
I don't understand what that's your secret. I don't get that.

Speaker 6 (15:12):
Maybe maybe the other like babies, because all they do
is sleep. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
It doesn't say American adults or just American just yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
I mean yeah, I guess babies and Golden retrievers that
sleep all day.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
I don't know cats.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
Yeah, literally all to sleep.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
Women more likely than men thirty six percent to twenty
five percent to say sleepiness affects how they manage their household.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Oh my god, one hundred percent.

Speaker 10 (15:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Does it say anything about how women are just naturally
more sleepy than men. I've been trying to explain this
to my husband. I'm like, look, it's not my fault.
It's like literally in my genes from generation to generation sleepiness.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Jeans are sleepy.

Speaker 6 (15:58):
Because I did.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
See something on Instagram and I can't tell if it's
one of those like accounts that just posts like fake studies.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
But I did say that, like.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
Women need more sleep than men because of just how
our brains are. And that's what I'm trying to explain
to my husband.

Speaker 16 (16:12):
Thinks, so I need more sleep, I'm more tired, like
and the mental load that you carry each day, you
know you ladies.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
And that household one right there where they said thirty
six to twenty five percent say sleepiness affects how they
manage their household.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
That's men versus women.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
Yeah, no, duh, because women tend to do more in
the household than the mental load that they carry is
so much greater.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
So yes, sleepiness will impact that more.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
Whether or not there is a differential between the amount
of sleep needed between different genders.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
It didn't say in this, but I you know, something
like that wouldn't surprise me. It says fifty six percent
of adults try caffeine each day.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
Only fifty six percent.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Oh my god, how are you guys surviving number no caffeine?

Speaker 4 (16:56):
That it should be a lot higher. Now, this number
is pretty high, FI ask me. Six percent of people
try a nap each day to be able to push
through their day without the sleepiness. You mean to tell
me that half of adults are out there napping every day?

Speaker 3 (17:09):
Yeah, I look, you guys take a nap every day.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
I'm not surprised, but like everybody.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
Else, Oh, I guess I don't know too many other
adults take you work like a nine to five and
eight to five and eight to six or whatever, where
are you getting that nap in?

Speaker 4 (17:25):
Because if you take a nap six o'clock in the evening,
that's just called sleep. And if you're taking a nap
before you go to work in the morning, that's just
called sleep.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Also lunch light. Yeah, nobody's going out.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
To RB's that on their lunch break and then powering
down with the table for a nap. Like my husband's
old job.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
This was he used to work at Facebook. Uh yeah,
and they used to like like it was required every
day you take an hour of like wellness.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
And he's like, okay, it's nap time.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
People bringing their like PlayStations and like for him, it
was like I'm just gonna appromye.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
He just brought us blanky. He just brought us blanky.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Yeah. You just go into a room and like that's
your room for your your wellness break.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
And it's nap time.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
I mean, they do have nap pods at some of
these fancy tech work campuses, but your average you know,
they got your steel worker in Pennsylvania is like, hey, hey, hey.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Guys, I'm going to go to nap. I'm gonna go
get a thermos of milk and power down for a
nap right now, Like, get out of.

Speaker 6 (18:26):
Here, Grandma's the last time you took a nap?

Speaker 3 (18:29):
You know I took a nap yesterday?

Speaker 1 (18:33):
Well, yes, your horse over here.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
Yes, it was different because I knew we had that
event last night, and I skipped going to the gym
and and.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
And then I took a nap.

Speaker 5 (18:43):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (18:45):
Sometimes it feels nice and then other times.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
But mind nap.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
Your guys' naps are asleep.

Speaker 4 (18:49):
You sleep for three hours, that's not a nap, that's
sleep at that point, Like my nap is twenty five minutes.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
What does that do for you?

Speaker 4 (18:55):
Ten minutes of that is the falling asleep. It's a
power nap because you don't wake.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Up films, you don't do anything, just awake the entire time,
tossing and turning, trying to get comfortable, trying to fall asleep.

Speaker 4 (19:03):
No, I fell asleep, but if you sleep, if I
slept the three hours, I'd be sleepwalking the rest of
the day.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
Like, I feel so groggy if I don't sleep three hours.
When I get like after this show, I'm yelling at
everybody all I am so cranky. Three hour naps, Yeah,
and it doesn't happen a lot because because we have,
you know, small kids at home. But every once in
a while I can get them to just you know,
I'll tell them, can you just watch me when I
sleep and protect me so the monsters don't get me

(19:28):
and they're like okay, and they let me sleep sometimes.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
All I gotta say is add up all your guys's
three hour naps that you took over the last two years.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
And I built a damn house in that amount of time.
I use so and I built an every house.

Speaker 6 (19:41):
We need an entire sleep.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
We're women.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
Yeah, I'm in a study.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
You's a biological and our giants are remember.

Speaker 4 (19:49):
Yes, passed down for generation and generation. My genes are sleepy.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
The JV Show on Wild ninety.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
Four nine, The JV Show, I'm Selena.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
Before we get to today's had it's trending, we were
just talking about naps because seventy two percent of American
struggle with sleepiness.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
How is it that a hundred? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Yeah, what's the percentage of Americans that are adults that
do take naps during day?

Speaker 17 (20:12):
Like Good Morning Jav's show, Happy Home Day. I had
a coworker who used to take an hour lunch every
day and she would go sit in her car in
the parking lot, eat her lunch, and take a nap.

Speaker 18 (20:29):
She said an alarm and she'd come back get refreshed
after having her little afternoons yesta. So it can happen,
all right, have a great day, guys.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
Bye.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
That sounds nice. Nice?

Speaker 1 (20:44):
Could you do that though?

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Every day? Go to Nice, Go get into your car
and power down, eat a little Wendy's, and then power
down for an hour?

Speaker 14 (20:53):
Yeah, I could, especially because after eating, Oh my god,
the naps are the best after eating.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
I probably could. I could fall asleep anywhere. I can
do that now, Good.

Speaker 19 (21:03):
Morning JV Show. Just wanted to chime in on Graham's
question about those that work eight to fours and nine
to five. I work eight to four at a high
school and then I coached here right after that, so
I work about ten hour days, maybe sometimes eleven, so
I get no naps in I just rely purely on.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Coffee, coffee and more coffee, have a great day.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
See, I think a lot.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
Of people do that. I guess my question. I think
she misunderstood me there. My question was people that work
normal hours or hours like that, because if nearly half
of adults take a nap during the day, and I
would assume that most people don't work hour hours, most
people work regular hours like she was just mentioned, and
they talk about when do you When is everybody napping?

Speaker 3 (21:47):
Was my question.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
If half of people out there, basically half of everybody's
taking a nap every day, when do you do it?
Because if you take a nap when you get home
from that long day at six or seven o'clock at night,
that's just sleep to me, just get, just go to
What do you take an hour n app to wake up
and get and make dinner?

Speaker 3 (22:02):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
That seems weird, So I think the answer is if
they are taking apt that's during lunch. I guess that'd
be my guess.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Yep, goes.

Speaker 20 (22:11):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the face.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
So it sounds like Ariana Grande's next tour might be
her last. So you know, she's kicking off her Eternal
Sunshine tour next year right here in Oakland actually June sixth,
and she was on Amy Poehler's podcast.

Speaker 3 (22:34):
You know, Amy Pole, I didn't even know you.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
Polar has a podcast, but it's called Good Hang with
Amy Polar. If anybody gives a fart, Ariana Grande's on there.

Speaker 21 (22:41):
And she said, the last you know, ten or fifteen
years will look very different to the ones that are
coming up. And I don't want to say any definitive
things like I do know that I'm very excited to
do this small tour, but I think it might not
happen again for a long, long, long long time. Sure,
I think that's why I'm doing it, mm hmm, because
I'm like one last Hurrah.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
Perfect now for now.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
So I think she's just saying for now in case
she changes her mind. She did say that like stepping
away from something and then going back to what make
you appreciate.

Speaker 3 (23:12):
It a lot more.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
But she said, you know, she's just getting older and
she's kind of figuring out what she wants and there's
so many other things that she wants to explore creatively,
and whenever she does like the pop music stuff, that
just kind of takes over her life and really limits
to her to what she can do essentially. So right
now she's doing like the acting obviously with Wicked, and
maybe she'll explore more of that. Maybe she wants to

(23:33):
get into directing or producing. I don't know, but it's
not going to be music after this next tour. I
can see that for her, like just sticking to acting
for a little while. She's I mean, she stopped music
for a while, and that's why when she dropped this
last album, remember it was such a big deal and
she said it's because doing the first Wicked really got
her back into music and she's feeling creative and so

(23:54):
now it's weird that it's doing the opposite for her, but.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
It's because she's stuck in character. And yeah, maybe that
that's what it is.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
I can't do that. Does it bum you out to
hear that? You know, after this tour you may never
see her on tour again.

Speaker 14 (24:09):
A little bit because I don't want to because I
would want to see her on tour. But I feel
like a lot of artists are kind of headed that
way now because a lot of tours are flopping.

Speaker 4 (24:18):
But don't you think there are some artists, like you know,
bands or stuff that I have grown up loving. In
the second that they announced that they're not long on
a tour again and maybe I've never seen them live,
I'm like, oh, I'm so I wish i'd gone that
one time to see them, or you know, do you
have that same feeling with her or you're just like, eah.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
Not so much.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
And maybe it is because she's still leaving the door
open a little bit later down the road.

Speaker 6 (24:39):
And because she still does have another tour lined up.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Right, Yeah, so they're still still could see her next year.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
Everyone want this is just a ploy to increase ticket sales.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
Probably the last time you get to see.

Speaker 4 (24:50):
Her on the little Miss Sunshine tour or whatever. And
you're like, I got to get out there.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
And see her asside Eternal Sunshine, That's what I said, Yeah,
backed on her name, all right, Grammy, what do you have?

Speaker 1 (25:02):
All right?

Speaker 4 (25:02):
Lebron made his twenty twenty five NBA season debut last
night for the Lakers. He missed our first fourteen games
with some sciatica issues, you know, because he's really old.
He's like an old man father times catching up, but
him stepping on the court. Last night, he became the
first player in NBA history to play in twenty three
consecutive NBA seasons. That's a pretty big milestone. Vince Carter

(25:23):
previously held that record in twenty two seasons. Lebron had
eleven points, twelve assists, and three rebounds in thirty minutes
of play last night. They beat the Utah Jazz last night.
Twenty three consecutive NBA seasons. That is pretty remarkable. As
cornball as Lebron is oft times, that's a pretty just.

Speaker 3 (25:41):
Can't stand the guy. It's a pretty big achievement.

Speaker 6 (25:44):
Like what's his net worth?

Speaker 1 (25:46):
A lot?

Speaker 4 (25:48):
You're looking it up, Jess, huge money. There was also
somebody else I can't remember. It was Austin Reeves who's
also on the Lakers. He was like, I think I'm
the only person in NBA history to have thrown an
ALU to both a father and a son, you know,
both playing in the NBA. Because he threw one to
Browny in a game this season, and he's obviously thrown
one two before.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
I wonder if that's a true stat or not. It
probably is.

Speaker 14 (26:13):
Uh So Lebron James's net worth one point three billion billion?

Speaker 2 (26:18):
Yep, what that's.

Speaker 6 (26:20):
What it says. He you're twenty twenty five one point
three billion.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
That dude was I mean he's right out of high school.

Speaker 4 (26:25):
He signed like a hundred million dollar dude, thank you
or whatever. I can't it was a big number. So
that's no surprise. That was twenty three years ago. The
money's grown quite a bit since said wow. And he
doesn't exactly turn down endorsements, No, not at all. He's
made a lot of money.

Speaker 1 (26:38):

Speaker 6 (27:42):
Who are these people that would let a stranger touch there?
You'd have to get to know me pretty well before
I let you do that.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Jess I'm with you, but well, yeah, I'm with you
for the most part.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
Sometimes you have a drink or two, you get at more.
One thing leads to another.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
It's not accident, you know.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
Okay, I guess what happened? All right?

Speaker 2 (28:05):
If you think you know what that word is, it
is something clean. Leave your guys on the talk back
Michael iHeart Radio Applet's run through some of your guesses.

Speaker 10 (28:11):
Now, what's it's Vince and Olivia from Dublin.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
We're gonna get Today's word is belly, like the pregnant belly? Alright, belly.

Speaker 4 (28:21):
That's one of the most popular guesses this morning, if
not the most popular. Selena, You've been pregnant a handful
of times, maybe more.

Speaker 3 (28:29):
Why do you say like this or something? It's not
just saying you have some experience being pregnant. Did you
ever let any strangers touch your belly?

Speaker 2 (28:37):
No, they would just do it really yes, yeah, no lady,
in safe way?

Speaker 3 (28:44):
Why are you touching me? I also, like, I've never
understood what do people get out of that?

Speaker 18 (28:48):
Right?

Speaker 6 (28:48):
What's the fascination?

Speaker 3 (28:49):
I don't know, like I'm gonna feel like skin, do
you know what I mean?

Speaker 6 (28:54):
I think it's just.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
Something supposed to be like endearing, Like like, no, I
get that. Like a friend, I'd be like, oh, you
know you like cradle the belly and you touch it
and stuff, but like you don't do that to a stranger.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
The only time you like are really like, oh the
baby's kicking, put your hand over here and then you
can feel a baby moving.

Speaker 3 (29:09):
That's a trip. But just to touch skin, what's.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
The point, right, what it's like, why do you give
someone a hug? That's you know, that's difficulty.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
A hug is an embrace of warp love? Okay, but
that's like what touching the belly is.

Speaker 22 (29:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 14 (29:25):
See I get it though, but I get it for
people that you know, because.

Speaker 6 (29:28):
Then you're like, oh my god, can I touch your belly?
And then it is like a like a wow mo yes.
But for a stranger, I just think that that's like
that there's a line that you don't cross.

Speaker 5 (29:38):
Okay, Good morning JVS Show.

Speaker 3 (29:40):
This is Christie from Blows and Hill.

Speaker 13 (29:41):
How do.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
I believe the bleeped out word might be hair? Have
a good one hair.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
There's the other most popular guests this morning. So we've
eliminated belly and we've eliminated hair, that's hair.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
Do strangers try to touch your hair? Not mine?

Speaker 6 (29:59):
I I think, well not for me, but I know
that people it's happen.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
It's happened to my daughter like, oh my god, her curls.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
Like, Okay, stranger in safe Way, why are you touching
my daughter's hair? Happened to you and say, yeah, it's
one of a few places I actually go.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
Do you want to talk about that?

Speaker 2 (30:16):
No, there's just always a lady in Safe Way. Oh,
different ones.

Speaker 19 (30:22):
Good morning JV Show to one of them, San Leandro.
My guest form the bleeped out word is phone. Those
turners should be touching my phone by happy humpting.

Speaker 6 (30:33):
Another good one.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
Yep, no one's got it yet.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
If you think you know what that bleeped out word is,
leave it on the talk back on the iHeartRadio app
right now, because we are gonna we are gonna play
more of your guesses coming up.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
The JV show on Wild nine.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Happy Wednesday, Happy. This is our what the bleep game
where all you have to do is be the first
person the guest today's bleep out word correctly, and we
are going to send you this JV show Chegy Muggy
as always when you think you know what the word is,
you gotta leave your guest talk back on my heart
radio app. All right, so here's today's clip in case
you missed it.

Speaker 6 (31:03):
Who are these people that would let a stranger touch there?
You'd have to get to know me pretty well before
I let you do that.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
Now, remember this is a family show, so that word
is always something clean. That's the talk back. See if
anybody got.

Speaker 21 (31:17):
It right, Hi, JV show, this is later for any
of And I think the booped out would is kids
get ready by kids.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
That's great guy, yep, Good morning JV's show.

Speaker 22 (31:32):
This is Jackie from Pittsburgh, and I think the bleeped
out word is a dog.

Speaker 4 (31:39):
Dog is a very popular guest this morning, as was
a few people guessing cat because just has a cat?

Speaker 3 (31:44):
Can I ask about the touching of the dog. Yeah,
where do you land on that? I don't mind that,
So any old stranger can come up and.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
Just like, yeah, it's weird that, like I that most
people don't mind when it's their dog, but like you
don't touch somebody's kid, no catchy, right, but dogs go
ahead because dogs like like.

Speaker 6 (32:06):
The pets, you know, they want to get they want.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
To get Do you mind that, Graham?

Speaker 4 (32:09):
I don't look. My dog loves it, Like she almost
laid down. You're taking her for a walk and somebody's
walking the other Sometimes she almost lay down in front
of them because she wants them to pet her so badly,
you know, And it's really cute and it's sweet.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
So I love it when people are like, oh my god,
can I pet her? That's great.

Speaker 4 (32:26):
It's the long linger that that part, like we're talking
to a quick hello, quick scratch.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
Oh she's cute, and then you keep going. It's the
people that sit there for like.

Speaker 4 (32:36):
You don't want to talk to you, the time is
passing for too long, and they're really like, you know,
having this deep conversation with your dog.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
It's like I have somewhere to be, like can I start?

Speaker 4 (32:44):
Can I can we continue walking like we got a
walk to And then I did want to ask you
this one because I've encountered this before. How would you
feel if somebody gave your dog a kiss? Because I've
had people do that, this stranger that will plant a
kiss on their nose, and I'm kind of like that's
weird as a scar crossing the line, like right, you
know what I mean, Like that's the spot that I

(33:04):
kissed my dog, So like you don't you're a stranger,
you don't know like that and I.

Speaker 3 (33:08):
Just kissed you. I guess that wouldn't really bother me.
So mild pet your own dog, yeah, they need I don't.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
I don't like the kissing stuff. That's what I that's
what I don't do. But if somebody else wants to
do it, by all means. But like I wouldn't go
to a stranger's dog and like kiss that dog.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
Wait, let me get you don't kiss your dog? Is
that what you're saying?

Speaker 3 (33:27):
I don't like dog kisses?

Speaker 4 (33:29):
What about kissing them on the top of their nose,
like not the wet part, just like the top of
their nose, like I kissed my dog there like probably
one hundred times a day.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
You do, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
I don't. I don't. I don't like kissing you hate
your dog? I forgot, But okay, would you kiss a
stranger's dog?

Speaker 2 (33:42):
Though?

Speaker 1 (33:42):
That's no, I wouldn't.

Speaker 4 (33:43):
Do that, And so that part makes me feel like
it just a little that pig is that's a little
bit of a violation, Like Jess, would you let somebody
kiss your cat.

Speaker 6 (33:51):
Nope, that's that's only for me and my fiance. He
can kiss my cat. What are they about?

Speaker 17 (33:59):
Good Morning jab show.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
This Slavia from San Ramon and my guess for the
bleeped out word today is face fa that's one of
the most popular guests is this morning face. I forgot
what your original clip is now too, we know, I
just kind of remember to go back and grab that clip.

Speaker 9 (34:18):
Hey, this is Barry from Union City, and I believe
the bleepout word.

Speaker 12 (34:22):
Is baby, baby, baby.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
All right, so you're is today's clip and bleeps?

Speaker 6 (34:31):
Who are these people that would let a stranger touch
their baby? You'd have to get to know me pretty
well before I let you do that.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
Yeah, Like, you know.

Speaker 14 (34:40):
You're walking down the street with your baby and if
a stranger is like, oh my god.

Speaker 6 (34:44):
They're so cute and then they start just like grabbing
their little arms.

Speaker 3 (34:47):
Absolutely not, but people do it. And people also can
I hold them? Can I hold them?

Speaker 18 (34:53):
Like?

Speaker 4 (34:53):
I don't know you although first kid, you're very protective,
don't know, you don't even look at me.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
I don't want you even breathing anywhere nearby.

Speaker 5 (35:00):
Baby.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
It's like second kid, whatever, Third kid, Slenna, aren't you
a little more like you?

Speaker 2 (35:04):
No?

Speaker 3 (35:05):
Not for a stranger. No, I'll just take this thing
off my hands for a minute.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
You last night, Selena, were about to take a picture
and you had your daughter there and you said, can
someone hold this?

Speaker 5 (35:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (35:16):
But I didn't pass it off to his stranger, I know.
But okay. Also it was very funny.

Speaker 6 (35:20):
Someone did offer her cookies and they were like, can
I take her to get cookies?

Speaker 3 (35:27):
Yeah, they're in my van right now. Hitting kidding.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
All right, let's give some shouts. First, Barry in Union City,
what's up? What's up? Happy hum? The very first Cruick.

Speaker 4 (35:40):
Answer this morning, and hence he will get a brand
new a chug a muggeth. It will be delivereth Sooneth,
I think from Jesseth, she'll send any.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
One look out for an email from her.

Speaker 2 (35:49):
All right.

Speaker 1 (35:50):
A few other people, quite a few other people came
to Craik.

Speaker 3 (35:52):
Answer this morning. Everybody.

Speaker 1 (35:53):
Josh and Gilroy had it. So did Adriana and San Jose.
Lachelle also in San Jose, what's up the shell?

Speaker 3 (35:58):
What's up? Kelly and San Jose had so, Jason and
Naddie and Valleo, A, Linda and stocked and had the
correct answer. Again, not as fast as Barry and Nancy
and Heyward had it, so to Melly in San Jose,
Nancy and Modesta had it, so did.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
Julie and bay Point and anybody else.

Speaker 3 (36:12):
I'm missing there, just because a lot of guesses were
flown in this morning, Holy tied a way with talkbacks.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
I think that was it all right.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
Well, if you came with the correct answer and we
didn't shout you art there, I blame Jess. It is
just as fault, just like everyone.

Speaker 6 (36:24):
Or maybe just be faster.

Speaker 3 (36:27):
Yeah, wow, just just be faster. It's your fault playing yourself.

Speaker 1 (36:31):

Speaker 4 (37:48):

they came up and met us. One told me that
he was that I was his favorite on the show,
and then Guyles, well, yeah, you're my favorite two on
the show. So Emma, she didn't really she didn't talk much.
She didn't weigh on who her favorite was, but she
gave me a look like you're also my favorite.

Speaker 3 (38:09):
And I took that, you know, to heart. So shout
out to you guys coming through and everybody that came
out here.

Speaker 2 (38:14):

Speaker 3 (39:10):

We lost Jamie. We lost Jamie.

Speaker 2 (39:22):
We lost Jamie.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
Jamie one for one start and then flustered on.

Speaker 3 (39:27):
That question and just was like, I'm out, what.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Are we supposed to do. We're gonna we're gonna put

Hot Mom in your DMS. Wow, welcome in. My two
kids and I listened to the JV show every morning
for years now. My daughter Madison officially a teenager. Today,
she would want nothing more to hear a happy thirteenth
birthday shout out after we dominate the yep, nope game.

(40:54):
Happy thirteenth birthday, beautiful girl, Love you forever, Mommy, Daddy, Matt,
Mia and Money. Yes, Happy birthday, Madison. I'm gonna need
to go back to check that DM. Hot mom in
the DM, Jamie, what happened?

Speaker 17 (41:07):
I got disconnected?

Speaker 3 (41:08):
I didn't quit, I promise, Oh no, okay. Questions are
too hard?

Speaker 2 (41:12):
What what city or what county is Santo?

Speaker 3 (41:15):
Then she panicked, but she got that one right.

Speaker 5 (41:18):
One point.

Speaker 3 (41:18):
We're going to get back to the game here. I
think this is the first the TV show you. One point,
We're back into the game. Lock in Jamie lock In. Yeah,
do you want to repeat question number two?

Speaker 18 (41:30):
Here?

Speaker 1 (41:31):
I will, all right?

Speaker 2 (41:32):
Question was my guest?

Speaker 1 (41:33):
All right, well, let's just move on right there. Yep,
that's you point.

Speaker 3 (41:37):
It's the beer brand that traces this reachs back to
seventeen fifty nine.

Speaker 6 (41:41):
It's a question number three.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
Jamie's spider typically has eight legs and also eight what.

Speaker 18 (41:48):
Shoot?

Speaker 17 (41:49):
I yeah?

Speaker 3 (41:54):
Is the is the answer?

Speaker 4 (41:56):
You guys are three for three. You don't even need
this one to win the game. We're gonna do it
for funzies because we got you back on the phone.

Speaker 1 (42:01):
Question number four.

Speaker 3 (42:03):
On its first move, the pawn on a chessboard can
move up to how many spaces? Oh, I've never played chess?

Speaker 1 (42:14):
Free three and one both and cracks on its first move.

Speaker 4 (42:22):
A pond can move two spaces should it so choose,
it can move one or two on its first.

Speaker 6 (42:31):
Congratulations, you just got more tickets to the Safeway Holiday
Ice Dream. Congrats. Yeah, thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (42:39):
That was so fun.

Speaker 3 (42:40):
You're welcome, Jamie. Hang on there for those tickets. It's
a good little strategy.

Speaker 4 (42:45):
Just freak out when you don't know the answer, then disconnect,
then look up the answer, then get back on the phone.
Gather yourself, get back on the phone and deliver the
correct answer. Get us, I'm kidding.

Speaker 3 (42:54):
Do we have more shout out? Yes?

Speaker 12 (42:56):
We do.

Speaker 1 (42:56):
Another one here, Good morning, Graham.

Speaker 4 (42:57):
Can we give a special shout out Tory, my son
on his birthday. Happy tenth birthday to our boy Carson
aka Carsonian. That's from Mom, Dad, a big sister, Lilian
and Pebble Roe. Carson. Your thoughtful, smart interject and full love.
We're so proud of you, especially for making the travel
ball team. You worked so hard for all those early
mornings and weekend workouts paid off.

Speaker 1 (43:16):
We love you.

Speaker 4 (43:16):
Can't wait to celebrate you double digits. Happy tenth birthday, Carsonian. Yes,
happy birthday? There, oh the fart. Another one here, Hey Graham.
Can you say happy birthday to Ruth? Today is her
birthday and that's for Melody. Yes, Happy birthday, Ruth the fart.

Speaker 1 (43:28):
Hey Graham.

Speaker 4 (43:28):
Hoping you can give a shout out to my daughter
Aila as she turns eleven today. As you celebrate this
special day, may you always remember just how strong, amazing,

loved and truly one of a kind. Here's to wishing

an amazing day.

Speaker 2 (44:00):
He's a fucking point the hosts.

Speaker 20 (44:04):
It's all the stuff you need to know, what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the Breaking News People.

Speaker 3 (44:13):
Breaking Breaking NEWSOO.

Speaker 2 (44:17):
David is finally considered a suspect in the death of
fifteen year old Celeste Reevas. Now remember this is the
guy that had a dismembered body in his abandoned tesla.
That body ended up being Celested, who was reported missing
by her family last year. And now despite photos of
them together, and despite her family saying she had a

(44:38):
boyfriend named Dave, and and despite them having missed, I'm
sorry matching tattoos, and despite him having a song titled Celeste,
they took months for a law enforcement to finally say
he is a suspect in the case. They also revealed
that they're looking at this case as a homicide, but
they haven't been able yet to determine the manner of death.

Speaker 3 (44:57):
They're still waiting on some toxicology reports.

Speaker 2 (45:00):
And apparently investigators are eyeing a spring trip that David
took earlier this year to a really remote area of
Santa Barbara County. They're thinking that trip because I guess
he was there for several hours in the middle of nowhere.
They're thinking either that's where it happened, the homicide happened,
or that's where the dismembering happened. And they also said

(45:23):
in the manner that the dismembering part occurred. I'm sorry,
this is really dark people, but they're saying. They're saying
that it's it's very likely that he had some help.
They didn't say whether or not there are other suspects
in this case yet, but that's that's all the latest
information that we have for now.

Speaker 3 (45:41):
I mean, and he's not being cooperative anymore. Oh, there's
that isn't that interesting.

Speaker 4 (45:46):
Well, the hell of a crack case detectives you, guys,
we've been on this topic. We named him as we
named him as a suspect within the first forty eight hours.
I know you're probably not supposed to do that unless
all the evidence points to a suspect, but this one
seemed like all the evidence was pointing towards this one.

Speaker 3 (46:03):
It's the easiest case ever.

Speaker 4 (46:04):
I'm glad he will now be under more intense scrutiny
because the family needs some answers. Yes, and hopefully they'll
actually be able to compile some compelling evidence to get And.

Speaker 2 (46:13):
It sounds like that's it sounds like that's what they're doing.
So finally, it is about time. Ariana Grande is defending
being all touchy Philly with Cynthia Erivo. So I told
you she was on Amy Polar's podcast. You played a
little snippet of it earlier this morning. I want to
play this part where Amy Pohlar was talking about how
they're always touching and hugging and they're holding each other.

Speaker 21 (46:36):
I channel a lot of energy through my hands. Yeah,
and so yeah, I'm always holding a hand. I'm always
like squeezing as something as you've learned. I like to
channel support and energy like whatever. I didn't even notice
that it was a thing about me until that thing happened.

Speaker 2 (46:51):
And she's referring to a video where in one of
the interviews she reaches over and she grabs Cynthia's finger.

Speaker 6 (46:57):
Oh, the famous holding the space.

Speaker 2 (47:00):
So she was like, I didn't even know that this
is the thing we did until I saw you know
that video, and we're so sweet, and I felt sweet,
And again a great example of in an awkward.

Speaker 3 (47:12):
Or confusing moment, you guys kept turning towards each other. Yes,
I did the thing that bugs me.

Speaker 4 (47:19):
I channel a lot of energy through my hands, and
this is the channel a lot of I'd like to
channel a lot of support.

Speaker 3 (47:27):
You need, you need, thank you. It's a comfort thing
for me, and I say that I find myself not
doing it. But the fact that, like her explanation, because
she's so much better than all of us mere mortals,
is that she's actually channeling some healing energy through her
hands that it was like.

Speaker 2 (47:40):
Shut up, I just say, you didn't notice until you
saw the video, so you had no idea this was
going on.

Speaker 3 (47:46):
I like to channel a lot of support through my hands.

Speaker 2 (47:48):
Shut up.

Speaker 3 (47:50):
God, we're so negative about stuff. It didn't bother me.

Speaker 2 (47:55):
So much the first press run for the first wiked,
I think because I didn't watch a lot of the videos.
But now that I am, I see why people were
so annoyed. Well, and I'm gonna end that in the
nicest possible way, because I do like Ariana and Cynthia.

Speaker 3 (48:07):
They're both great.

Speaker 2 (48:08):
But I don't think we're gonna this isn't gonna stop
anytime soon because barely coming out again support.

Speaker 14 (48:15):
And we still haven't seen Ariana do anything with SpongeBob
right No, Like he's still like hiding somewhere right now.

Speaker 2 (48:24):
I mean he's been at events and people he's been
at events. I saw him at some of the premieres
and people were talking because one in particular, I have
only paid attention to one premiere and there's been several,
but they were pointing out how they weren't standing next
to each other and taking photos.

Speaker 3 (48:38):
He's over here, Like, can you channel some of that.

Speaker 2 (48:44):
They're trying to like de escalate the situation. They're claiming
they're not broken up and that you know, they're just
being professional and they want their relationship to be really private.
So after premieres is when they go and spend their
time together while they're working. They're working, Arion is Anthia.
I don't know if I buy that, because even before
this press one there was reports that this is what's

(49:05):
going to happen. They're going to act like they're together,
but then they're going to break up after Yeah, Sikes,
I don't know, all right, Graham, what do you.

Speaker 10 (49:13):
Have a right?

Speaker 4 (49:13):
Well, despite months and months of the President railing against
the release of the Epstein files, it finally appears that
he's not gonna have much of a choice but to
do so. Yesterday, both houses of Congress almost unanimously voted
to approve their release, with the only dissenting vote coming
in the House.

Speaker 3 (49:27):
That vote was four hundred and twenty seven to one.

Speaker 4 (49:30):
This bill will now get sent to the President's desk,
where he said that he intends to sign, and only
one person in all the House and Senate voted against us,
so they lost. However, there's a lot of uncertainty, uncertainty
regarding what exactly will get released, because now it's up
to the Department of Justice and loyalists to the president.
Attorney General Pam BONDI to decide kind of it's supposed

(49:52):
to be everything that gets released, But the one caveat
is that if any of the information in the files
is deemed part of it ongoing investigation.

Speaker 3 (50:01):
So the theory is that they will say, oh, well, these.

Speaker 4 (50:05):
Likely high ranking Democrats are involved in this, so now
we're investigating them, so we can't release all this stuff.
So any if any of it is deemed to be
part of an ongoing investigation, they won't release that part
of it. So I'd be highly suspect about what we
end up getting to see from the public standpoint, But
I guess we'll have to wait and see. But this
bill is supposed to compel a thirty day window in

(50:28):
which all of this stuff is all files and communications
related Depstein is supposed to be released. But again, unless
it's part of an ongoing investigation, which get ready.

Speaker 3 (50:38):
For that word to be conveniently conveniently used.

Speaker 1 (50:41):
We'll see, all right, and then after this, hopefully the members.

Speaker 3 (50:44):
Of Congress get back to making working for the American people.
That'd be nice, that would be nice, you know.

Speaker 1 (50:49):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine, Hey.

Speaker 23 (50:52):
Good morning, JV Show This is Tany're from Bernardi Serrata.
I just wanted to reach out and thank you guys
for coming last night. Thenardis out a team in the community.
Truly appreciate your support and we're looking forward to partnering.

Speaker 3 (51:06):
Again in the future.

Speaker 23 (51:08):
Graham, I just received an additional request from one of
your top fans, so I.

Speaker 3 (51:14):
Have to share it with you now.

Speaker 17 (51:15):
Hi, I didn't get a picture of Graham and I
would love one.

Speaker 2 (51:19):
Please have a good one.

Speaker 3 (51:20):
You guys that ten daughter and I met her.

Speaker 4 (51:25):
I met her last night and we were like, oh,
we got to take a picture later, and then we
didn't take that picture because everybody was taking.

Speaker 1 (51:30):
Pictures with Fred Warner. Oh, give me a picture with
Fred Warner. He's the greatest.

Speaker 3 (51:34):
He is the greatest. I have a major man crush
on Fred Warner. Here's there last night. He's awesome.

Speaker 2 (51:40):
Yeah, thank you everybody that came out to That was
a really, really fun event. Before we get to Valeo
topping a list, you guys and Graham you said it's
not good. Yeah, we're gonna get to that in just
a second. I just read a report that this Thanksgiving
is going to be one of the priciest like ever.
According to this, the average American is going to spend
almost a thousand dollars and they break it down here.

(52:03):
So the average person this is, according to you know,
the few thousand that were polled, going to spend about
one hundred and seventy five dollars on food and like
one hundred and ten on drinks.

Speaker 3 (52:12):
Okay, that's not about.

Speaker 1 (52:13):
Right, Yeah, I mean, I guess it depends if you're never.

Speaker 3 (52:15):
Hosted in my family is not letting me, so I
don't know if.

Speaker 4 (52:18):
You're hosting an American skyrocket. If you're just attending, then
obviously it's much smaller, much cheaper. Bring something eighty three
dollars on decor for the holiday, and then two hundred
and ninety one.

Speaker 2 (52:30):
On miscellany miscellaneous items like fixing a broken appliance or
buying a new outfit, things like that just for the holiday.

Speaker 3 (52:38):
On the outfit, I believe you got to get that
new Thanksgiving sweater, right, you have to wear a sweater
car giving, Yeah, you gotta get your car to get on.

Speaker 2 (52:45):
And then although one third of people don't plan to
spend anything on travel, those who do are going to
spend an average of two hundred and ninety three dollars.
That's bringing your Thanksgiving total to about nine hundred and
fifty two right there.

Speaker 4 (52:58):
Yeah, there's a lot of a lot of people travel
for things Thanksgiving. That's got to be one of the
biggest expenses outside of unless you're you're flat out hosting
and you're cooking the turkey and most of the stuff.

Speaker 3 (53:07):
I imagine that gets that adds up really quick.

Speaker 4 (53:09):
The eighty three bucks on Thanksgiving decor Will you ladies
be decorating for Thanksgiving?

Speaker 2 (53:14):
No?

Speaker 3 (53:15):
I mean if it was at my place, like you
would have to buy something.

Speaker 4 (53:18):
Yeah, so you just go out into the yard, pick
up some dry leaves and sprinkle across the table and
putting it.

Speaker 2 (53:23):
Put two candlesticks out table runner that has like I
don't know, thankful on it or something that match.

Speaker 3 (53:31):
Yeah, like place Matt for the for the douglry. Yep.

Speaker 4 (53:34):
Oh, you guys, we need a plates because yeah, no
more no paper plates plates.

Speaker 3 (53:39):
Yeah, you gotta use Thanksgiving real plates and real forks.

Speaker 6 (53:42):
Nice centerpiece, yep.

Speaker 3 (53:44):
Just sprinkle some dry leaves on there and you're done.
Two candles and some fall leaves. That's the perfect table
setting and it's free maybe minus the candles. Yeah, let's
talk about Layo. What happened? All right?

Speaker 4 (53:56):
This is not good for my birth town, the nine
four five, the True Yeah, shout out to the magazine
street where I was born. The Metropolitan Transportation Commissions Annual
Pavement Report. You guys, I know you've been probably on
the edge of your seat waiting for this report to
come out, like I have. I obviously subscribe to their
monthly new newsletter. But the according to the new report,

(54:17):
for the fifth year, and for the fifth year in
a row, Valeo in the bottom five of the worst roads.
In this year, they found that Valeo has the worst
roads in all of the Bay Area. Too many potholes.
Do you guys remember a couple of years ago, the
Valeo pothole vigilantes. They were out there because like, if
the city's not going to do this, we're going to
fix these potholes ourselves, and they were filling them. Then

(54:39):
they got in trouble because you're like, yeah, you're not
supposed to do that, and there was it was a
whole thing. Yeah, they got shut down, and so with
nobody fixing the potholes, Valeo streets have fallen into a
state of disrepair.

Speaker 3 (54:51):
How are the streets near you?

Speaker 4 (54:53):
Selena and Heyward adjusts and Sam Mateo, because this is
not a problem that's unique to Valeo Bay area roads.
I've seen better days, but some areas likely on worse
than others.

Speaker 3 (55:04):
Yeah, I don't really have an issue, not that I've seen,
uh in Hayward that's where I live.

Speaker 2 (55:09):
But I but I did hit a really big pothole
going to Hayward in Oakland actually getting off the bridge.
You guys, it was so scary that I almost lost
control and like got into the.

Speaker 3 (55:19):
Biggest wreck ever.

Speaker 2 (55:21):
WHOA, if you're getting off the bridge and getting on
five eighty, do not drive in that left lane right there,
the furthest left lane because and hopefully they fixed it.
I wouldn't know because I just avoid that lane now.
But I hit this pothole that I didn't see so hard.
Obviously I was speeding a little bit.

Speaker 13 (55:35):
But.

Speaker 10 (55:37):
If the car and I almost hit the truck next
to me, and I couldn't like I couldn't steer it,
and so I overcompensated and like tried to swerve the
other way, almost hit like the guard rail center diviight.

Speaker 3 (55:50):
Thing on that side it was.

Speaker 2 (55:52):
It was so scary, and after that I was going
like fifty five, I'm.

Speaker 3 (55:56):
Like all the way home. After that you put the
car in granny mud and drove home very slowly? Is
the worst? Yes, the streets of San Mateo, what are
they looking like these days?

Speaker 6 (56:07):
They're looking pretty nice? I think from oh must be
nice from the areas that I've driven into, I guess
I have.

Speaker 14 (56:15):
I don't think there's anything that stands out that I
really like have a complaint about. Okay, yep, maybe I
need to drive.

Speaker 6 (56:21):
Around a little bit more.

Speaker 2 (56:22):
There used to be some bad ones in Heyward, but
I think they've they've fixed most of them over the years. Grammy,
what about in uh Napa?

Speaker 4 (56:28):
The streets of Napa have been under a major road
construction project. I feel like for the last year there's
just been constant paving going on, and so things are
getting that things are getting much more now, things are
getting much better. A lot of you know, delays as
you're waiting, uh while they're working on all the roads.
But I don't know if they got some state or
federal dollars that came in all of a sudden, because

(56:49):
all it was like every road project all happened all
at once, but again traffic snarl, but then now some
nice smooth roads.

Speaker 3 (56:57):
The pothole that I hit every day and every day
I'm waiting on look.

Speaker 4 (57:00):
Out for it is on twenty nine going through American
Canyon and there's one pothole.

Speaker 3 (57:04):
It sneaks up on me every single day.

Speaker 4 (57:06):
It's very large until you can't really do a full
swerve because it'll the car next to you thinks you're
gonna swerve into it, or you're gonna go up the
road to avoid it. But every day I try to
avoid this thing, but it hides in front of the car.
It hides under the car in front of you, you know,
so you don't fully see it until late. I hit
this thing every day and I'm so mad. It's in
the left lane on twenty nine. It's a big law.
It's one of those big long potholes. I hate that thing.

Speaker 3 (57:28):
I get it. It gets me every day.

Speaker 6 (57:30):
I know it's coming too, and that's the worst because
then you get mad at yourself, like I should remember
this yep for next time.

Speaker 3 (57:38):
Shout out to that part. Tomorrow is going to be
the day shram You're not going to do yea.

Speaker 1 (57:42):
Days my day the JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 8 (57:47):
Hi, guys, hope your day is going good.

Speaker 13 (57:49):
This is Jasmine from Napa.

Speaker 3 (57:51):
I just wanted to say it's my birthday today.

Speaker 11 (57:54):
But also regarding that pothole on Highway twenty nine, I
travel from Valeo to Napa every day and I also
hit that pop hole every single time in American Canyon
on the twenty nine, and I just want.

Speaker 13 (58:08):
To say, Graham, I feel your pain.

Speaker 3 (58:10):
Have a great day, guys, by first of all, happy birthday.

Speaker 4 (58:15):
Secondly, yeah, shout out to that pothole on twenty nine.
I'm telling you that thing. It comes out of nowhere
and it's monstrous, and I hit it almost every single day.
I'm glad somebody else.

Speaker 6 (58:22):
Is like me.

Speaker 3 (58:23):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (58:24):
Cars already old as hell. She probably drives like a
much nicer ones. I feel worse for her, you know, right?

Speaker 13 (58:28):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (58:28):
Is there any truth?

Speaker 3 (58:29):
Have you guys heard that you can if you get
a flat tire from a pothole on a Bay Area road,
that you can like bill it to like they're on
the hook to pay for your tire. Pal. I've heard
that before. I think there's something I think there's some
truth to that. Can somebody on the talkbacks way in
because I think that you can. Yeah, I think you
can get that expense.

Speaker 2 (58:48):
Covered some good information.

Speaker 5 (58:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (58:50):
I like that you got to charge it to this
specific pothole, though I don't know how you document that
or verify that.

Speaker 1 (58:55):
But they have names or I think it's a thing.

Speaker 6 (58:59):
Oh, leave us a talk back, But I want to
talk about this new app you guys.

Speaker 14 (59:04):
It's called two Way. I don't know if you've heard
about it, but picture this. Imagine being able to tell
your grandmother who is no longer here, about your new baby,
about some new family experiences, or sharing a story with
a friend who passed away.

Speaker 6 (59:21):
Well, that is apparently the purpose of this new app.
It's called two Way. You can actually check out a
little snippet on our Instagram story jav Morning Show of
how it works. But apparently what you do is you
upload a three minute video of the person who is
no longer here with us. You can put some audio
in there, you can put some text input in there

(59:43):
about what this person was like, and then you get
a hollow avatar of the person that you are able
to I don't communicate with, what do you think.

Speaker 3 (59:54):
I don't like it. I hate everything, Thank you, I
don't like it. I just I feel like this shouldn't
be allowed.

Speaker 6 (01:00:00):
It crosses the line.

Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
I feel like it does too, And I get maybe
for some people they might it might bring them comfort
being able to have, you know, air quotes here at
conversation with the loved one that's passed on. But even
watching like the video that's on our Instagram story, and
this is the video they put out.

Speaker 3 (01:00:17):
It shows the.

Speaker 2 (01:00:17):
Woman who's pregnant. She's talking to her mom who's no
longer here, you know, about the pregnancy, and then the
baby's born, and she's showing the baby off to her,
you know, the avatar of her mother.

Speaker 3 (01:00:27):
And then it goes a little further down the road.
That baby grows up.

Speaker 2 (01:00:30):
He's now older, and we have this young man talking
to his grandmother who he never met because she passed
away before he was even born. I feel like it's
just creating, like you said before, Graham, these like false memories.

Speaker 3 (01:00:43):
That's something that's weird. That's exactly what I was thinking.

Speaker 2 (01:00:45):
So he's gonna live his whole life thinking he's been
having conversations with like this is.

Speaker 10 (01:00:49):
This is my grandma.

Speaker 4 (01:00:50):
Well yeah, and like this is this is you know
who she is, and I know exactly what you know
she would say and do, and these instances like no,
you don't you you didn't meet this person.

Speaker 3 (01:00:59):
And while look, I get it.

Speaker 4 (01:01:00):
People, you know, I have friends that you know have
lost a parent or whatever, and they'll go back and
listen to voicemails from them and stuff and just any
just to hear just to hear their voice, you know,
and that and I get that, and watch the videos
that they have of them and look at the pictures.

Speaker 3 (01:01:12):
But that's where it should stop.

Speaker 4 (01:01:14):
I just I feel like it's gonna co create a
memory in your mind and it's gonna change your actual
memory of that person.

Speaker 3 (01:01:21):
Yeah, because it's not that. Now your memory is gonna
be something. It's fake.

Speaker 4 (01:01:24):
That's a You're gonna have a memory of this person
saying something to you and talking to you and interacting
with you.

Speaker 3 (01:01:29):
That's fake. It's not really, that's it.

Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
And I also feel like it'd be really hard to
nail like how they actually were, so it would che
you know what I mean, So it wouldn't I feel
like if I were to do that, like the chances
of this two way app actually nailing this person's personality
and the way they would joke around and how they
would respond to things, like it's impossible for you to
to get that accurately.

Speaker 3 (01:01:51):
Right, I think they can get to the look and
the sound the voice.

Speaker 4 (01:01:55):
Yep, like they're gonna be able to get that with
Like that's thems indistinguishable, you know, from real to fake.
But the the inside jokes, the stuff that they would
say the same, the way that they the things that
they call you, stuff like that, they'll you know, you
could obviously teach it and get it closer and closer
and closer, but again.

Speaker 3 (01:02:13):
It's fake, fake, fake, fake, fakeate it.

Speaker 14 (01:02:16):
It's so scary because it really feels like we are
living in an episode of the show Back Mirror and Netflix,
and I think people have already become so dependent on
things like Chad GPT and talking to them as if
they were real people.

Speaker 6 (01:02:30):
Now imagine you know, having.

Speaker 14 (01:02:32):
This and thinking that this is really like who you're
talking to, is you know, your grandma or an old
friend or something.

Speaker 6 (01:02:38):
And then something happens to the app. That's another heartbreak again,
Like you lost them once and now you're losing them.

Speaker 3 (01:02:44):
A random imagine other.

Speaker 4 (01:02:45):
Cloud Cloy's gone r ip Nana again all over again,
and then you've got to go to a virtual funeral.

Speaker 3 (01:02:54):
Oh my god, and there's just a hologram of her
in the casket. H I just I don't know. I
don't like I don't like this at all. I don't
like it.

Speaker 15 (01:03:03):
I hate it.

Speaker 6 (01:03:04):
I don't either. But go check it out JB Morning Show.
If you want to see an example.

Speaker 1 (01:03:08):
Why in that video?

Speaker 3 (01:03:09):
I mean, go watch the video, but why in the
video is the loved one in front of a white background?
Like can't you put her like sitting in a chair
or something. Make it look like, you know, that's what
heaven looks like. It's all good light and bright and sunny.

Speaker 4 (01:03:20):
We'll make it look all clown fluffy cloud or something.
It looks like she's on a sound stage stuff, you
know what I mean. Like make it Maybe you can
change the back.

Speaker 1 (01:03:27):
Make that part look a little more. The JV Show
on Wild ninety four nine Wild.

Speaker 2 (01:03:32):
For nine of the Bays number one hit music station,
The JV Show. Here, I'm Selena and I'm just happy Wednesday.
Happy home.

Speaker 5 (01:03:40):
Graham.

Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
You were telling us earlier how Valeo has topped the
list of the worst roads in the Bay Area.

Speaker 4 (01:03:46):
Lot lots and lots of potholes, and I detailed the
one pothole that I hit almost daily on twenty nine
in American Canyon, and some other people have waited so
and they know.

Speaker 1 (01:03:54):
That particular pot hole got very facous. That's vicious. But
I brought up the like rumor that I have.

Speaker 3 (01:04:00):
I've always heard that you could file a claim should
like your tire get popped or your car stuff for
some kind of damage hitting a pothole on a Bay
Area road, you can file some sort of claim and
they could potentially cover the cost for it.

Speaker 9 (01:04:10):
Good morning, guys, this is day for hurcanes.

Speaker 10 (01:04:14):
Yeah, it's true.

Speaker 16 (01:04:15):
You can get paid.

Speaker 9 (01:04:16):
It's a process. You have to go to the city
hall or something like that and file PaperWorks. I used
to work parts department with this man came in and
bought four and fifty dollars m and I spoke to
him and he told me that the city payper. But yeah,
he said, we ran over a pophole and get to
the screen A van got a you tire out, so

(01:04:37):
that's fine, but thanks see.

Speaker 3 (01:04:39):
Yeah, okay, so there you go. It's true. Process. Yeah, well,
that's anything.

Speaker 2 (01:04:45):
I don't like that.

Speaker 24 (01:04:47):
Good Morning JV show. It's Marie calling from the North Bay.
I used to handle pothole claims for the county, and
you can submit a claim and try to collect from
the county, but most of the time and they say
that you should have seen the pothole, or they'll say
they weren't aware of the pothole, so they can't be
held libel. They do have some kind of immunity for

(01:05:09):
that also, so in theory it would be nice, but
you can't collect from them.

Speaker 16 (01:05:16):
Well, but it shouldn't be there in the first place, right,
And don't tell me you're not aware of the pothole.

Speaker 3 (01:05:20):
You have four hundred cars a day crashing in day and.

Speaker 2 (01:05:23):
Graham, you said sometimes it hides under the car in
front of you so that you don't see it.

Speaker 3 (01:05:27):
I'm not giving enough, right, it would be unsafe for
me to swerve to avoid this. Yes, yeah, I like
that the pothole on.

Speaker 13 (01:05:35):
The twenty nine. My family has dubbed SUSIEQ after Rocky
Marciano's infamous Susieq punch, because that thing gives my car
so many gut punches it's not even fair.

Speaker 3 (01:05:49):
Anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:05:50):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (01:05:50):
I didn't know it had a name, So shout out
to susie que the pothole on twenty.

Speaker 3 (01:05:54):
Nine American Canyons. Am I supposed to get the reference?
I'll be honest, it seems a little obscure about it,
I'm sure. Laugh So clearly you understand it explained.

Speaker 6 (01:06:02):
When she explained it, she said, because it's like a it.

Speaker 4 (01:06:05):
Was a rocky gut punch. I didn't know that he
had named Susiqia. It's been a long time regardless, it's
got a name.

Speaker 3 (01:06:13):
Yeah, hilarious. Yeah, I love that all right.

Speaker 4 (01:06:15):
And just to put a wrap on this, I looked
it up and on coltrans on I think you have
to go through Caltrans. It's if it's on a Bay
Area freeway and they have a section there where you
can file a claim. Wow, they're damage now. I also
went down a bit of a rabbit hole down a
Reddit thread and most people and they were saying their
claims all got denied for similar reasons, like you should

(01:06:36):
have avoided that pothole, or we don't know about it whatever.
So it sounds like there is a chance, but maybe
an outside chance, and it's probably a headache, But I
don't know, it's kind of worth giving it a shot
if you're out six hundred bucks or whatever. Yeah, getting
you know, worked one on your car because of a pothole.
So I think it is a thing. It just probably
a lot of hoops to jumping.

Speaker 3 (01:06:55):
Interesting, all right, Well, thank you Grahamy you give a
shout out before we move.

Speaker 4 (01:06:58):
I do one quick d it says, hey, Graham, it's
my birthday today and I would appreciate a shout out.
And that is from our buddy Maria Mendez. Maria, I
hope you have a great, fantastic and very happy birthday.

Speaker 11 (01:07:12):
US.

Speaker 2 (01:07:13):
Today's hottest trending is coming up next, major eye.

Speaker 3 (01:07:17):
Roll, major iroll alert. After finding out who is putting
on the met.

Speaker 1 (01:07:24):
Gala the JV show on Wild ninety four nine, Happy Wednesday.

Speaker 22 (01:07:30):
Good morning JV shows, Amy and Marlow the Wonder Dog
Calling from sany Andre. Just want to thank you guys
so much for being out last night and for Graham
taking the time to have the little conversation about dogs
and introducing himself to me. And I was really surprised
that Jess recognized Marlow the Wonder Dog. Hope you guys
have a great day. We're halfway through it. Happy home Day.

Speaker 3 (01:07:52):
Yeah, so much fun last night.

Speaker 2 (01:07:54):
Thank you for stopping by.

Speaker 3 (01:07:56):
Yeah, it was great.

Speaker 4 (01:07:57):
It was great to finally put a face to the
name and meet you know, Marvel the wonder a lot
about him.

Speaker 3 (01:08:02):
Is very one famous dog, I think in the whole
Bay area.

Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
Yeah, the hottest.

Speaker 20 (01:08:08):
It's all the stuff you need to know, what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today.

Speaker 4 (01:08:17):
We asked our boss if he knew any of our
pet names last night at the event, and he went like,
oh for four no.

Speaker 2 (01:08:22):
Yeah, yeah, major eye roll at who was putting on
next year's men major eyroller? Don't too many guesses because
this this is someone who's financially backing it, like their
primary sponsor.

Speaker 3 (01:08:35):
Do you guys want to guess?

Speaker 4 (01:08:36):
Don't tell me it's the Kardashians, because I was gonna say,
doesn't the met galap put on the met Gala?

Speaker 2 (01:08:41):
Doesn't thet it's at the Met, Yeah, it's out there,
the museum, the financial sponsors, people who put on the
production beyond that Lady Gaga.

Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
Then I said, I roll not people who we would like.
That'd be cool. They know, Oh that would be an
eye roll. Selena, I'm gonn just tell you Cardi b No,
I'd love that, but no offset.

Speaker 1 (01:09:03):
Can I just tell you.

Speaker 2 (01:09:07):
Out Bethos the Bezos, Yes shock. The Metropolitan Museum announced
that next year's fashion Extravaganza is going to be made
possible by Jeff and Lauren Bezos.

Speaker 3 (01:09:23):
They were named as the lead.

Speaker 2 (01:09:25):
Sponsors, alongside secondary donors who those secondary donors actually have
something to do with fashion or like big fashion brands
or you know, companies or whatever.

Speaker 3 (01:09:33):
This change here.

Speaker 2 (01:09:35):
Having Bezos be the main sponsor breaks the tradition of
having a legacy fashion house as a primary sponsor. Like
last year, for example, it was Louis Vuitton, So you
saw a lot of celebrities walk that carpet dressed in
Louis Vuitton, like Pharrell although he's like one of the
main people there for the brand, but Sabrina Carpenters and
Data they were all dressed in Louis Vuitton.

Speaker 3 (01:09:55):
So it just seems weird and it bothers random. It
does a lot of people like they're just not here
for it.

Speaker 4 (01:10:02):
It does not seem weird or out of character for
this event. This is a costume party. This is a
dress up party for the ultra wealthy.

Speaker 3 (01:10:09):
That's what it is.

Speaker 4 (01:10:09):
This is the most out of touch tone death fundraiser.
It is a fundraiser for costumes.

Speaker 3 (01:10:15):
We have all these problems in this world, and we're
raising money for costumes.

Speaker 2 (01:10:19):
It is but for people who take fashion seriously and
this is like their chance to like create something and
have it shown.

Speaker 5 (01:10:27):
They're like.

Speaker 2 (01:10:29):
To do with this.

Speaker 3 (01:10:29):
I have a four hundred thousand dollars in dilace.

Speaker 14 (01:10:34):
But now it sucks even more because everybody that's going
to be invited, it's just everybody that was at their wedding,
probably like Sydney Sweeney is going to be present, Kardashians,
like I mean, all the people that we've kind of already.

Speaker 6 (01:10:45):
Seen at the met But I think it's going to
be even more annoying.

Speaker 3 (01:10:47):
This there's no bigger of a who event in the
history of events for us norms. If you want to
be a who's who in the.

Speaker 4 (01:10:54):
Fashion world, then you want to rub welbows with the
ultra wealthy go to this thing. Your average person can't
say what this event is for.

Speaker 2 (01:11:03):
I honestly, I don't even know the specific just a red.

Speaker 3 (01:11:09):
Carpet really, and that's all.

Speaker 6 (01:11:11):
And of course the annual meme of Jason Derulo followed.

Speaker 3 (01:11:14):
Down the stair.

Speaker 4 (01:11:15):
That partly good thing that's ever come out of this event.
Otherwise it's stupid.

Speaker 3 (01:11:19):
I love that meme. It's my favorite picture ever. All Right, Graham, what.

Speaker 25 (01:11:24):
Do you have?

Speaker 4 (01:11:24):
All right, it's time to ask our very own Selena,
did you feel it? This is an almost daily segment
now because we've had so many earthquakes lately, and yesterday
we had another. A three point zero earthquake rattled the
South Bay. This one, the epicenter was near an unincorporated
area of San Jose. It said it struck right around
five forty eight in the evening. Selena, did you feel it?

Speaker 3 (01:11:47):
Of course not? Why not? I was in traffic driving
to Walnut Creek. Okay, yes, sorry, I have an actual
excuse to say again this time.

Speaker 4 (01:11:56):
You Normally you're at home and you're Jammy's. Yeah, house
starts shaking and you don't feel a thing.

Speaker 3 (01:12:01):
Of course, one night earlier we had a three point
three that that one centered near San Ramon.

Speaker 4 (01:12:07):
I mean, I can't say it enough times. Every single
day we have a three point whatever earthquake. Again, these
ones aren't scary. What is this pointing towards.

Speaker 3 (01:12:16):
I personally think this is a good sign that it's
relieving that tension. I sure hope. So that's what I think.
I sure hope.

Speaker 4 (01:12:23):
So we're overdue for the big one and hopefully, yes,
this is releasing enough tension on these fault lines so
that we don't get a seven or an eight or
some just massive earthquake.

Speaker 3 (01:12:31):
I know that would be very scary.

Speaker 4 (01:12:33):
One cool thing I did want to throw in and
mention here in the sports world this was cool. Yesterday Curisou,
the smallest nation in World Cup history, just shocked the
entire soccer world by qualifying for the World Cup. They
did it by ending bringing a game to a draw
against Jamaica zero to zero.

Speaker 3 (01:12:53):
But that was enough. Apparently.

Speaker 4 (01:12:54):
I don't know how the World Cup rankings and seedings go,
and I'll fall it that closely, but Curasau, a nation
of just around a one hundred and fifty five thousand people,
has got a team into the World Cup. Super cool story.
Cool so they don't just get squashed in the work up.
Hopefully they can make a little noise. But very cool
to see only one hundred.

Speaker 1 (01:13:13):
And five thousand people.

Speaker 3 (01:13:14):
Yeah, it's interesting.

Speaker 1 (01:13:15):
All right, thank you Graham The JV Show on Wild
ninety four nine.

Speaker 6 (01:13:19):
Let's go back to our cool or not list?

Speaker 3 (01:13:22):
Who would like to throw something else?

Speaker 6 (01:13:31):
Let me go for myself?

Speaker 3 (01:13:33):
Just kidding, let's go adjuss.

Speaker 6 (01:13:35):
Yeah, all right, cool or not?

Speaker 14 (01:13:38):
The new Starbucks and Target collab drink the first ever.

Speaker 3 (01:13:43):
I should say it is a taste like the inside
of a Target.

Speaker 6 (01:13:46):
No, I don't know what that would taste like, but
Targets has it?

Speaker 2 (01:13:49):
Not good because the bathrooms are always there with the entrance,
and sometimes those things be stinking.

Speaker 1 (01:13:53):
They do, but it doesn't.

Speaker 4 (01:13:54):
Target has a smell. I feel like you could stick
me inside a Target store and I would know I'm
in a Target.

Speaker 6 (01:13:58):
I think it used to have a popcorn smell.

Speaker 3 (01:14:00):
Yes, more, yes, not all of them had the popcorn though.

Speaker 6 (01:14:05):
That's a good point.

Speaker 3 (01:14:06):
I'm not aware of the Target popcorn.

Speaker 2 (01:14:08):
Really.

Speaker 3 (01:14:09):
Where was it? They just had like a popcorn machine
up front, like they had like Starby's. Uh huh.

Speaker 6 (01:14:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:14:15):
There was like a like a whole dog some food
at some location. O old are you guys? Geez It
sounds like it's something from the nineteen hundred stars when.

Speaker 2 (01:14:27):
I wonder if any of them still do that. I
don't think so that's a good question.

Speaker 3 (01:14:31):
We even had like a sitting area, you like sitting
at your food. What did you take a wagon too?

Speaker 1 (01:14:35):
These places? A horse straw and buggy?

Speaker 11 (01:14:37):
Like?

Speaker 1 (01:14:38):
How this is the very first target?

Speaker 6 (01:14:41):
Continue anyways, the drink.

Speaker 14 (01:14:43):
Let me know if you would try this frozen peppermint
hot chocolate.

Speaker 3 (01:14:48):
That sounds delicious. It does sound good. How is it
frozen and hot? I'm confused. I guess the same way
that that high ice cream. Yeah, yeah, hot ice doing
that tire banks? Yeah, so is it? It's a old drink.

Speaker 6 (01:15:00):
It's a cold drink, but it has the hot chocolate taste,
so it should just be chocolate.

Speaker 2 (01:15:04):
That's a good point.

Speaker 3 (01:15:05):
Frozen peppermint chocolate.

Speaker 4 (01:15:07):
It does sound pretty good because I kind of want
it hot, but I don't want a hot ice cream.

Speaker 2 (01:15:13):
So you'd want a hot peppermint chocolate, So it's like
a frappuccino kind of.

Speaker 6 (01:15:19):
That's I want the frozen one.

Speaker 2 (01:15:21):
Although frappuccinos and we're not gonna turn this into a
big debate. I feel like they're mostly for Oh god,
here we go with the judgment.

Speaker 1 (01:15:28):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:15:28):
I just feel like adults.

Speaker 3 (01:15:30):
I mean, they're not really I feel like they're you
know what, never mind forget I open my ba I.

Speaker 14 (01:15:34):
Think you're just judging baked because of the cup and
the way it looks, because I feel like what's inside
a frappuccino is very close to what's in your eyes.
Shaken espresso with twenty million shots of things.

Speaker 2 (01:15:45):
But some of them, a lot of them don't even
have espresso. It's just like a nice frozen strawberries and
cream treat for a toddler.

Speaker 4 (01:15:50):
Quad shot things would send a seven year old to
the hospital. Heart is the only one that's built up
enough community to be able to handle all that caffeine.
I guess I'm going cool. I did want to ask,
so are you guys? Are you guys starting to get
in your hot drink era?

Speaker 3 (01:16:05):
Like summer's over? It was cold last night, it was freezing.
I think I'm I've switched over to hot drinks now.
Sometimes sometimes I still get an iced drink.

Speaker 6 (01:16:14):
I really have been wanting to try. I was talking
to Selene off the air about this.

Speaker 14 (01:16:17):
The sugar cookie cold foam, but I can't find it
anywhere I see it all over TikTok.

Speaker 6 (01:16:21):
People are like, add this to your drink, add this
to your eyes. Shaken espresso?

Speaker 2 (01:16:25):
Is that one of those things where it's not on
the menu you have to just order and piss off
the baristas.

Speaker 3 (01:16:29):
I want the sugar cookie made by an elf, double
shot shaken out. We should have the barisas dressed up
as elves, like, can we stop it?

Speaker 12 (01:16:39):
Just get.

Speaker 3 (01:16:43):
And then there's like a little reindeer hoof prints in
their cold foam on the top.

Speaker 6 (01:16:47):
Oh my god, yeah, little bells on their shoesake snow
all over the little window that it's sprinkles, some fake
snow on your drinks.

Speaker 2 (01:16:55):
But it's like shaved eye. You guys, you just cracked
the code.

Speaker 4 (01:17:00):
That's how Starbucks will bring the business back and have
a guy dressed as Santa anytime they handle your drink
and you rub his belly and he.

Speaker 3 (01:17:08):
Oh oh that's question. Not cool. I'm going not cool,
not cool. We have time for one more on Grammy.

Speaker 4 (01:17:16):
What do you guys saying cool or not? I applied
for a new credit card this week and I got denied.

Speaker 6 (01:17:21):
Wait, how you have perfect credit?

Speaker 5 (01:17:24):
Don't?

Speaker 1 (01:17:25):
Don't.

Speaker 4 (01:17:26):
I'm as stumped as anybody, And now I know what
it feels like to be a regular credit.

Speaker 6 (01:17:31):
Norm Wait, wait, has your credit gone down?

Speaker 1 (01:17:34):
It hasn't.

Speaker 4 (01:17:34):
I just looked at my thing on my City card,
at my other I'm a City bank a credit card,
the Costco card card, and he's like, here's your fight
Go score and it was eight sixty six.

Speaker 2 (01:17:44):
Maybe this week maybe.

Speaker 3 (01:17:45):
Your credit was like two perfect. Like this guy's not real.
It's a scam. We can't issue this fake person a
credit card.

Speaker 1 (01:17:51):
I don't get it.

Speaker 3 (01:17:52):
But now what do I do?

Speaker 1 (01:17:53):
My brother called me.

Speaker 4 (01:17:54):
He's like, dude, you got to get this credit card
great rewards, and I'm getting mine and then I'll get
a referral bone and say you do yours and then like, okay,
I'll apply right now. He's like yeah, it takes like
less than two minutes. They give you an answer right away.
And he's like, I just got approve of mine, and
then I applied for mine and it was like, we
cannot issue this card at this time.

Speaker 3 (01:18:09):
Oh wow, I'm going cool?

Speaker 11 (01:18:11):
Cool?

Speaker 6 (01:18:12):
No, cool?

Speaker 1 (01:18:13):
Are going not cool?

Speaker 2 (01:18:14):
You don't need another credit Yeah, it's Corapo was bragging
about your perfect credit.

Speaker 1 (01:18:18):
Yeah, it is perfect.

Speaker 3 (01:18:20):
Do I understand although can I say this about credit scores?

Speaker 4 (01:18:24):
We recently refinanced our mortgage or whatever, and then they
pull your credit there.

Speaker 3 (01:18:29):
That's like the serious credit pooll.

Speaker 4 (01:18:31):
That number is nowhere near the number that all your
apps and banking apps are showing you.

Speaker 2 (01:18:35):
I never explain that car and your credit score is
like one hundred points lower than what your phone says.

Speaker 3 (01:18:41):
Well, that's what I'm saying. So why do they do that?

Speaker 4 (01:18:42):
Why would you lie to me and say, my my
fight go scores eight sixty six and they're like, here's
your credit score seven twenty and like, wait, explain that.

Speaker 3 (01:18:52):
Like that's a pretty big number gap. I don't remember
what it was, but it was substantially. I think it's
just one of those mysteries of life where we'll never
know why. It's just thing. It's just a way to
keep us norms. Show it's the thing. Yeah I got
then not cool.

Speaker 1 (01:19:06):
Very cool, not cool The JV Show on Wild ninety
four nine.

Speaker 25 (01:19:10):
Good Morning JV Show. This is Elena from Chico. And
actually the Santa Clair Target actually has the food area
with the popcorn, hot dogs, pizzas and such, and then
just on the other side of that wall is the Starbucks.

Speaker 3 (01:19:22):
That's in target as well. Oh it got bold. Interesting.

Speaker 2 (01:19:26):
I like, you've never been to a target with food.

Speaker 4 (01:19:29):
Well, I've been to that target because remember we had
that event at Great America. I was driving my son
there and he in his pants all the way there,
and I stopped at that target. I didn't have time
to browse the popcorn and snacks. I had to buy
him some new underwear. True stories.

Speaker 26 (01:19:43):
Hey Graham, I'm a mortgage broker. There are it's my understanding,
eight different methods of scoring. FCO is one and vantage
is another. That's what credit cards shows you, so vantage
is different, and even in mortgage company es ficos scores.
But you can google the types of credit scoring methods,
and for a mortgage there's much more cross checks than

(01:20:05):
for a credit card or a car loan.

Speaker 3 (01:20:07):
So that's why it's lower. Okay. A lot of talkbacks
came in on this topic, and lot of thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:20:11):
Everybody's explaining to me why that there's such a wide
variant in credit scores. Anybody's ever like seen your bank
show your credit score and then you go to pull
a car loan or a mortgage or something and they're like,
here's your credit score. Those two numbers sometimes not in
the same ballpark.

Speaker 3 (01:20:25):
They weren't for me.

Speaker 4 (01:20:27):
I still don't understand why we all can't get on
the same page and just have one unifying credits s nice, Like,
shouldn't that be a thing? Why do all these different
companies analyze it differently and then they go, well, we're
gonna not use your lowest, We're not gonna use your highest,
We're gonna use the middle.

Speaker 3 (01:20:41):
I don't know, but either way, I got toned for
a credit card, but I was playing for one, and.

Speaker 4 (01:20:45):
My fight Go score according to my Fighto scores eight
sixty six, so I will assume that it would have
been a slammed brag. I'm not bragging because I got
to night for a simple Measley credit card.

Speaker 3 (01:20:55):
That makes me feel good.

Speaker 6 (01:20:56):
Yeah, it's clearly much lower than that ground

Speaker 1 (01:20:58):
