New Segments Alert, new segment alerts. What we want to start doing when
we sign on every morning is playingthe very first talkback that comes in that
morning. It could be anything, anything you want to get off your chest,
a shout out, a question forus. Yeah, he's got to
be the first one leave the firsttalkback and we'll play it. I guarantee

(00:44):
it. So here is the firsttalkback of this morning. Hey guys,
it's Carol talkbacking from Ogden, Utah, trying to make your first talkback of
the day. I have a request, can you not play Signing next to
You by John Cook? Because whogives the fart? So yeah, have
a good weekend and I will seenext Friday at the Comedy Jam. Love

(01:08):
you, Carol. I love thatthat was a good first talkback. That
was a good first talkback. Yes, finally, it wasn't someone requesting young
cook now, it was opposite. And I love that she's coming all the
way from Utah to go to comedyjam next week. That is awesome.
One more talkback here before we getto Cheety's tweets, which is something that

(01:29):
we do every Friday morning, GoodMorning TV Show. Oh my goodness,
I am podcasting to the part whereJess did not get proposed to and Grandma's
talking about his proposal, and Ijust can't stop laughing. Oh my gosh,
Jess, you're contagious. You're whatWe're all gonna start saying that eventually.

(01:53):
What Wait, So this was Tuesdaymorning, Selena, you had a
were slept and that morning, Yeah, that was a great you gotta extra
sleep that day. And uh so, yeah, I was describing my proposal
to my wife and I was sayingI didn't have anybody there to capture the

(02:13):
video and pictures of it, becausewho cares. And Jess was absolutely flabbergasted
above that. So I found thatpiece of audio again, this was from
from from Tuesday show if you missedit, But I don't have a picture
of it actually in the moment happening, because I like how the tea comes

(02:35):
way after the It sounded a lotless dramatic in my head. No,
we have the gas and then wehave the W and then we have the

(02:59):
O so bad. I can't allright. Something that we do every morning.
It's tweets. I know, Iknow it's shocking. Yes, Cheety
our buddy. Here she tweets alot. So Friday Morning's Graham does a
dramatic reading. Skip Marley is sofeo. It's a pom well. I

(03:34):
don't know how to say f In like that. It looks like fio
o MG, who's Skip Marley?Okay? So I watched the bar Bar
Bob Marley movie. You did?I did? I want to go see
it so bad. I see ita lot, But I went to those

(03:55):
like rabbit hole, like who ishis family and all that stuff? And
then I found his grandson. SkipMarley is grandson. He's good looking.
He's really good looking. I'm saying, twenty seven, how old are you?
Fat? Have you slid into hisd ms yet? How? Why
not yet? Carlo? Who literallyno, I still love Jack? Jack

(04:19):
is like always there. This guy'sway better looking than Jack Harlow, like
by like ten x. Yeah,so I found I found him, Cheaty
Marley. Write it down. It'sgood, Cheaty Harlow, Cheaty Marley.
Have you stalked him enough to dowe know? Is he married? Is

(04:39):
he single? What kind of researchhave you done? I think he's single.
I don't know. Also, howwas the movie? Oh? It
was really good. I liked it. I definitely recommend it. It's shared
like his not his whole story, but just his message across the board.
So I liked it. It wasa good a good film. That's cool.

(04:59):
I want to to see it again. There was a woman we talked
about it. I mean it's beena long time, so I can't remember
all the steps, but she wassaying, how to shoot your shot at
a celebrity on Instagram? And sheremember I Step one was go way way
back, find one of their old, old old posts, and then like
that one. That was step one? Do you remember step two? And
so I don't remember, Well, chet start with step two? Yeah?

(05:20):
Care who likes their posts? Yeah? But you stand out if you like
one of their old older posts.Whoa somebody like that one? Okay,
I don't know step two or stepthree, but you start with step one.
I keep forgetting it's lent and Ican't eat meat on Fridays. Also

(05:40):
gave up eating out. So whatam I supposed to do? You gave
up all that for Lent? Yeah, I thought you just picked one thing.
Well, the eating meat on Fridays, that's just that just comes that.
Oh that's a package deal with.Yeah it sucks. But then I
give up like eating out because Ieat out a lot. And I was
like, you know what, maybethere's you're gonna wither away? And how

(06:02):
long does that go? For?Like four? I think learn's like forty
days. Yeah, there's not achance you can make it that far.
She's beening good. She's been doingit's been a week all week. I
tested it yesterday because I was like, oh, you want to get the
subway and she said, I loveher. Girl, Like she's doing great.
It's been three days. Remember whenChey started the seventy five hard challenge,

(06:25):
she made it to day one anda half. I don't even know
if you made it through one day, Like, looks like stop and plotting
people, you guys rip on mefor dry January. Yeah, I made
it. I made it ninety eightpercent of the month without drinking, and
you guys, doesn't come Chi makesit three days without ordering food. You're
like, wow, she's good itgirl, do that. It's a week

(06:47):
and a half and that's pretty good. Okay again, pretty good. I
get ripped for pretty good. Iremember working at a movie theater and people
would sneak like five boxes of pizzaor like wingstop, and I still wonder

(07:11):
how they snuck that in, Likethere was sneaking stuff. They look okay,
So usually we don't care. Oh, we don't care if you have
like stuff in your purse or whatever. That's not our business. But there's
one time I was cleaning and itwas like five six boxes of like big
pizzas, and I'm like, howdid you get that in? I don't
know. We like there's somebody inthe front that usually checks people's tickets,

(07:33):
and clearly you can't bring in food, but I don't know how they got
them. Maybe like in a stroller. Oh that smart. I've never done
that. That's how parents sneak alcoholeverywhere everywhere. I know, it's Disneyland,
you name it, America paid off. Finally, Oh my god.
One time I always got caught aGreat America. It was really scary.

(07:54):
When you have a stroller, theyhave you go in like a separate line
because they want to like check everything. So I have the stroller and he's
like, ma'am, come to thisline over here, and it's like me
the kids in a bottle of Hennessy, and I'm like, oh my god,
what am I gonna get arrested?Didn't find anything? God? Oh,
where was it hidden? It wasat the bottom, bottom of the

(08:15):
diaper bag. I thought you justhad to just pour it into like a
reusable water bottle. Yeah, andthen once it's in there, well,
we didn't think this through. Okay, all right, Sorry. It seemed
like, you know, just likean obvious ticket. Take it one more
step. That's what everybody says aboutDisneyland. Just put it in a water
bottle. I can't tell you. They're not like tasting every water bottle that

(08:37):
goes through there. So you justput your boos in there and then put
it in the bottom of the stroller. And then you like when you dump
all your mom stuff, you know, like that the diaper bag and all
this stuff. The person gets overwhelmedthat has to look through it. All
the just just go take the kidsthrough and get out of here. Go
right a ride. Let's do onemore talk back here before we move on

(09:00):
to other things. Happy Friday,JV Show. Just want to call in.
Let you guys know how much you'reappreciated every morning. I can't believe
it's been a whole year since we'veheard JV. I really miss his singing
and his jokes and his laughter, all the weird sounds. Thank you guys
for keeping his name alive. Soso today is the one year anniversary of

(09:24):
our last show with JV. It'sgoing to be really hard for me to
talk about. I can already feelmyself getting like, no, I've been
kind of dreading this all right, like weird read it, but you know
what I mean, Yeah, Ijust Gramm and I are very emotional people,
and if you remember a year ago, the messages that we were on
air. I'm going to try tolike not be that much of a wreck
over this, but we are goingto talk about JV next break. Gramma,

(09:46):
do you want to It's been awhile since we checked in and you
know, talked about how you're doing, how I'm doing, And of course
we'll talk more about, you know, JV and what we're doing to honor
him. So that's all next yearon Wild Wow, The JV Show on
Wild JV. How do you feelabout it being Friday? Jam loved his

(10:07):
Fridays the week it is Wildy fornine to Base number one hit music station.
We are the JV Show. I'mSelena, I'm Jess, I'm Cheaty.
It is one year since our lastshow with JV, so it's I'm
gonna apologize ahead of time for Grahamand I try to hold it together.
We're going to try to hold ittogether because I don't want this to be

(10:30):
like a complete downer, although weare very saddened by by everything, as
you can imagine, but a yearlater, I want the memories of him
to be happy. I want thisto be more of like a celebration of
him, yep, more than anything. But I mean, I know it's
still gonna be really hard to dobecause it's just not an easy thing to
talk about and we haven't talked aboutit for it's a long time. And

(10:54):
thank you to everyone who has beenuh sending the talkbacks all morning Already Morning
JV Show. Loopy from the EastBay. I want to take a moment
Seline and Graham and say thank youfor this past year. Thank you to
your spouse is for the support thatthey've given you. Today is a year
from the last time that we heardJV on the airways. We missed him
so much. He was the greatestto ever do it. Yesterday I listened

(11:18):
to his last show and I justsmiled and I laughed, and we missed
him, and I think it's verytake a moment to be thankful for what
we had. We miss you.Have you done that, Graham? Have
you gone back and listened to thatshow? I can do it? You
have? I have? Oh?I can do it? No, it
was less. It kind of madeall the sadness, honestly go away,

(11:41):
because when we were with JV,it was just so fun and everything that
came out of his mouth was justso funny, and so it just takes
you back to that place and youalmost forget why you're even listening to.
At least that was the case forme. Like I said, it's been
a long time since we kind ofchecked in with each other and Graham,
how are you you doing? Ayear later? I wondering if I can
even talk right now? I'm feeling. I know, I feel the same

(12:03):
way I do. I feel thesame way. I think. I think
a lot about that week, youknow you're talking about excuse me listening to
the last show. I can't doit. That last week was so and
Selene, I know you and Italked about it like that. That week
of shows was so damn funny. We were having so much fun, you

(12:24):
know, and so that, youknow, almost made it hurt even more,
if that's even believable. You know, it's like, you know,
we really had something special and JVwas a really special person. So I
can't I hate that again. Ihate the sound of my own voice,
but I can't talk, so Iapologize for that. You go back and
listen to those last shows, andit was some of the best. Like

(12:46):
even that last show I mentioned howI'm just like dying of laughter the entire
time I'm listening to it. Butwhat you guys didn't see off the air
was the struggle that he was continuouslyfacing and the pain that he was in
in between breaks and during commercials andwhen you come in and after the show.
So it was really hard on him. Yeah, does it make it
any easier? A year A yearlater, I'm still in the same same

(13:09):
place. I feel like I feellike part of me just kind of like
pushed everything away because I have tolike continue being a mom and there's still,
like, you know, life happens, and I had a wedding and
I still come into work every day, and so I feel like I haven't
even really I probably have like issues. I thought about that a lot.
I've thought about that a lot too, that I don't think I've really dealt
with it, you know, becausethere's no time, you know, it's

(13:31):
like you don't. We talked aboutthat when we first came back on the
air and we're trying to kind ofjust put on a smile and to the
show and have some lives, andwe were both saying and then like you're
kind of just compartmentalizing it, andlike, Okay, I'll deal with that
later, but I have, youknow, I have yet to deal with
it. I don't think, youknow, you go home and there's kids

(13:52):
and you're building a house. Lifeis just crazy. The one thing that
I don't know bugs me, isthe right word, is that something I
think about a lot is after thatlast show, at the end of that
show, off the air. Youknow, he really broke down, and
we talked about that a little bit, but it's something that I don't think
we've really touched on that, AndI think about that all the time because

(14:16):
I's it's a lot of what ifsfor meat that you know, I don't
know if I'll ever be able toshake that. But can we talk about
that? I don't know if Idon't. I mean, I'd rather keep
most of that private, but Ijust you know, he really broke down,
and you know, it was tough. It was really it was a
real, raw, real real moment, and and you know, you know,

(14:39):
it's one of those things I'll forever, you know, wonder like if
I had stepped in, if Ihad maybe walked over and gave him a
hug, or if I had donethis, I feel the exact same way.
Yeah, but we can't believe ourselves. No, I am, I
can't believe it's been a year.I don't know. I take me back

(15:01):
to that place. I can't believeit's been a year. And I feel
exactly the same as I did then, where I am like speechless, I
can't find the right words to say, and I didn't want this to be
like a sad thing, you know. I want us to celebrate him.
I want us to honor him,and we're gonna do that at comedy Jam
next week, to talk about that. In a second, A year has
flown by so fast that day thefault. So this is the one your

(15:24):
anniversary if you're just tuning in ofour last show with JB that following day
when he wasn't there, I feellike I could I remember everything about that
morning we do coming in to work, the emotions and like we didn't know
at that time, like what wasgoing on, you know what I mean.
We just thought that he wasn't feelingwell, which was a common thing
with him, and he often neededtime to like just stay home and you

(15:48):
know, try to get better. And that's what we thought it was.
We come in, his car's gone, I mean, it's not in the
usual parking spot or doing the show. But then like during the show,
we kind of get tipped off thatsomething something, something was wrong. We
still don't know what, and likeI just I remember everything about that morning
and leaving here just like in tears, so worried, and the silence of

(16:11):
that long, creepy hallway we havehere was like the silence was so loud,
like it was such a crazy thingthat we experienced, and that was
a traumatic morning. I mean,I don't think I don't know that we've
ever really talked fully about that either, but Selena, I mean we had
to. We pre recorded some ofthis. I left mid show. People

(16:32):
don't you know, people don't knowthat part. You know, it's just
there was I think I'll forever replaythat those forty eight hours in my mind.
So I know we're going to begetting a lot of talkbacks throughout the
morning about JV. Thank you inadvance. We are going to be playing
those throughout the morning. Again. We want to honor JV, want to
celebrate him. We don't want to, at least for me, I don't

(16:55):
want to constantly think about the painthat he was in. I want to
remember him for like the goofy, silly, loud, fun guy that he
was. Let me play one thingbecause I've already had talked back saying,
do you remember when JV always usedto play this one sound? And I
just found it, and you know, he used to drop he had a
year, he had a year ortwo or that got dropped to a thing

(17:15):
so that's the JV I want toAnd so we're gonna circle back to Comedy
Jam really quick, which is nextweek. Now, this is our big
event to honor JV. I know, it's been a year and everyone throughout
the entire year has been asking, well, what are you guys gonna do,
Like, how can we get together? What can we do for JV?
This is it. He was therefrom the he gave birth to comedy

(17:36):
Jam. Okay, so we're bringingit back in his honor. There are
tickets still available ticketmaster dot com.I know we have a really nice JV
tribute that Wild for nine is puttogether that we're gonna be playing there at
the show. A ton of theold Dog Out Dog House is gonna be
gonna be there. It's gonna bethat's it's gonna be awesome. It's gonna
be very therapeutic, and it's gonnabe hilarious obviously because it's just such a

(17:57):
great night of comedy. But also, I mean, the bigger picture for
me is that it's benefiting a causethat was very near and dear to JV's
heart. Bay Area Alignment's right, and that's like to me, that's the
goal let's raise as much money aswe can for them. The JV Show
on Wild ninety four nine, GoodMorning guys moved from the East Bay longtime

(18:18):
listener, doghouse listener Swarna know youguys are doing an amazing job and keep
the memory of JV alive. YouI know, he was a dear friend,
a close friend. You guys lovedhim very much. But you know
JV was always transparent with the fansand always let us know how radio works.
I just want to shout out toManxman too, I mean Mark and
anyone that had to do with him, keeping the name of the show and
just keeping his memory alive. Imean the fans are also seeing that,

(18:44):
and it doesn't go unnoticed. Yeah, I think that was really important to
just the station as a whole. It's we're gonna stay the JV Show.
Yep. Graham and I wouldn't havelet them do anything else. No,
I'm glad everyone everybody was on thesame page about that. How do you
know where us his name's Stucker?Oh my god, who are you well?
I mean it for you know, last year year ago, Mark had

(19:06):
to pop in and make some announcementson there. I think he said,
said his name. But no,I mean, you know, to peel
back the curtain a little bit.Yeah, I mean major thanks to Mark,
our boss, because again he wason the same page with us about
everything and has been really supportive, you know, through after all this.
So again we're talking about JV alot this morning because today is the one

(19:26):
year anniversary of our last show withJV. This was, you know,
the anniversary of the last time hewas on air here at Wild Thy four
nine. So excuse us if weget a little emotional here and there.
I do want to have some laughsthough, Graham, what do you hear
something that JV would have loved? The Naked Man Festival in Japan. Well,
unfortunately, you guys, I havesome bad news. I'm an accuse

(19:48):
of the sad song because take amoment say your goodbyes to the Naked Man
Festival. What it sounds gross. It's been going for one thousand years.
That's a one thousand year old traditionin Japan. They do it, I
think on the seventh day of LunarNew Year. I got to check that,

(20:11):
but it's part of the celebration.I don't know exactly what happens so
forgive me. At the Naked ManFestival, I just know it's a lot
of naked guys that I'll get together. Guys they're wearing like sort of like
a loincloth looking thing that's covering.By the pictures I've seen, they're all
like jam packed in close next toeach other. Oh, it sounds sweaty.

(20:32):
It looks very it looks very sweaty. But they're saying basically the declining
male population there, there's not asmany young up and coming guys that want
to be naked. And for theNaked Man Festival, and so they there's
a winner each year, and Idon't know how they crown the winner.
Maybe they all wrestle or something Idon't know, and then somebody comes out
of winter at the end. Thisyear's winner was forty nine years old,

(20:52):
clearly showing that you know, we'reprogressing up in age of winners here at
the Naked Man Festival. Question,do you think it's more about people not
wanting to be naked or is itpeople not wanting to go to a festival
to be around other people. Icould be an element of all those people
don't like being around people, especiallythe youngers. Yeah, especially around other
naked naked people. Yeah, butthey say it was a tough decision due

(21:18):
to the aging of individuals involved inthe festival and a shortage of successors.
They say this was the final year. You think some thousand years, we'll
eventually bring it back. They should. I think the guy that's doing the
fire Festival too, bring back NakedMan's Festival. Also, have we heard
anything about Firefest too, other thanthat's going to be huge and awesome.

(21:41):
I don't know that it's going tobe great. It's not Graham. Shouldn't
we know more details? By no, when Ha Sai's supposed to happen.
All we know is that every tierof tickets they put out, which hasn't
been many that they've sold allegedly,But we still don't have a lineup.
We don't have an exact location,Like, there is no information out about
this thing. It's going to bedope. Just did you get your ticket?
Year? Just you watch? Ishould buy tickets so that I can

(22:03):
resell them for even more when thisstay. Don't we do that? And
this thing is massive because they've beenselling out so fast. Would you rather
back to the Naked Man Festival?Just quick question. Yeah, would you
rather watch football or the Naked ManFestival. Let's say it's a televised event,
Naked Man Festival. Yeah, metoo, it'd be funnier. It's
just so interesting. You know.I think you're right. The JV Show

(22:23):
on Wild ninety four nine. Allday we are celebrating JV. Today's the
one year anniversary of his last showhere on Wild and four nine. I
want a JV show, big outof Frisco, JV doghouse. What I
just want to say, Buddy,we miss you so much. JV show.

(22:44):
He'd be so proud of y'all,y'all doing it big every day.
He's looking down at y'all, lovingy'all. Good work, crowd. He
was sky Daddy big kimming up there. You feel me, love y'all.
You had the comedy jam Yeah, and he's definitely big pimp and with guy
Daddy looks like exactly but Jamie's doingit okay. The hottest it's all the

(23:11):
stuff you need to know what's hotin music, movies, shows and the
most talked about stories happening today inthe Bay. So Taylor Swift and Travis
Kelcey. You know they're finally together. In Australia, Taylor's on tour and
she's got a series of shows therein Sydney. She had one yesterday.
Travis was there in this footage ofhim like walking through and he's high fiving

(23:33):
all the slifties and they show himwatching the show and he has a risk
full of friendship bracelets, and thenof course Taylor changes the lyrics to fit
you know, the chiefs player thatshe is currently dating. Do you remember
I told you when Travis first toucheddown in Australia they went on a zoo
date. Guess who's mad? Who? Uh? Some of the chimpanzees.

(23:56):
No, Peta, Oh, Ishould have known. While we understand all
too well the appeal of seeing Australia'swildlife, Peta hopes that next time Taylor
and Travis want to see wild animals, they'll spend their time anti money at
a true sanctuary. Oh my god. They say it's a better choice because
they're not allowed to feed and touchthe animals at a sanctuary. They're actually

(24:19):
required to keep a safe distance fromthem all together. The zoo, on
the other hand, you can goup to them touch the animals like they
were doing with some of the wildlifethere, and Peter didn't like it.
Yeah, but they don't like anything. They don't. I mean, I
kind you know, and they're rightnow. Look, I agree with the
majority of what Peta says. Youknow, their anger level, I'm usually

(24:41):
not I'm not matching that. Butyou know what, a lot of stuff
they're right now, the way theygo about it, and some of the
stuff they're outraged about, you're justlike, okay, stuff too, general
messaging of it all. Yeah,I mean, for the most part,
you'd rather have your animals living ina not some time enclosure. Oh absolutely,
But can Taylor and Travis live justone time? We've all been to

(25:04):
a zoo. Yeah, you know, well we've all done it. Okay,
Now back to my question I posedmaybe yesterday the day before. Does
is Travis? Is he required togo to every single one of her shows
because they're long? It's a longshow. He goes on any high fives
of Swifties and he's got his braceletson and yeah it's cute. She changes
the lyric and she pointed at himin the crowd. You know at this

(25:26):
one. Does he go to everysingle one? He better? I think
he will because he traveled so farfor her. Why is he going to
go off and spend the time thathe's there seeing another country that you've never
seen before, Australia. I meanon the reason enough, like, hey,
I'll be on the beach next show. He wasn't at every single one
I shows brutal. Yeah, wellso you signed up for you're dating the

(25:48):
biggest pop star in the world.Sorry, it's not like she went to
the game and left halfway through.Yeah, but his are once a week.
She's got five shows at a row. You're false, all right.
So John Cena has joined OnlyFans.Yesterday he posted to all his fans to
go subscribe to his new OnlyFans account, and when they went, instead of
the account belonging to John Cena,it belonged to Ricky Stanicky. Who's that

(26:15):
I'm glad you asked. Ricky Staneckyis the character that John Zena plays in
his upcoming movie. It's an Rrated dramedy titled Ricky Stanicky. I guess
he plays this like X rated rockand roll impersonator or something like that.
I think sat Gefron is in thismovie as well. But so this character,
which I mean, I guess it'sit's still John Cena, but it's
the character's only fans account. Yesterdaythere were only two posts. One of

(26:38):
them he was dressed up as BritneySpears in her iconic Baby One More Time
Schoolgirl outfit, licking the ground andthe caption read anyone want to hit this
one more Time? And there wasanother post where I guess he was like,
Hella sweaty. Look, I haven'tseen these because I'm not subscribing to

(26:59):
this only fans account. It sayshe was Hella sweaty and he had a
wallet in his mouth random by tryingto get as much of it in there
as you can. So it's justone big publicity stuff. It's one big
publicity summer. You're all see it. Don't need that only fans money that.
Yeah, by the way, thatmovie does drop March seventh, But
I think this is really clever, yeah, to promote the movie. I'm

(27:19):
here for it, Graham, Whatdo you have? All right? Major
League Baseball has a see through pantsproblem. I don't know if they had
that on your twenty twenty Bingo card, but this is the first season that
the uniforms are being manufactured by fanatics. I guess in some sort of partnership
with Nike, and apparently whatever fabricthey're using U is not good. It's
too thin. Nike has what theycall their Nike Vapor Premiere Jersey fabric.

(27:44):
They say it's breathable, lightweight, high performance, and you know, twenty
five percent more stretch ability. Butwhat it doesn't have is coverability, apparently
because I don't know if you guyshave seen some of these pictures coming out
of spring training and some of theofficial team photos you can see so what
what you see in a lot ofguys team pictures, they're standing there and
they have their jersey shirt tucked in. You can clearly see the tucked in

(28:06):
shirt, which makes it look likeyou're looking at their underwear, or it
makes it look like you can seetheir boxers, or like some guys look
like they're wearing a diaper under there. The pictures are hysterical, especially there's
a couple where guys are bent overto like, you know, tie their
cleats or something, and you're seeingway too much. These are not family

(28:26):
it's not family friendly. But theplayers are upset about it. The players'
union's upset about it. They saythey look horrible. Now not not only
that. Okay, so you haveto see through pants, the actual jersey
parts. I guess Finax decided theywere going to move the MLB logo and
then that pinched some of the jerseywriting and lettering, so the lettering got
smaller. And it's just a qualitycontrol thing too, because they're side by

(28:48):
side team pictures of guys wearing thesame one and there's a stripe on one
and it's missing on another. It'slike they're like hodgepodge put together. They're
completely clueless whoever's manufacturing so bad theylook terrible. They also say that in
addition to them being see through, and you know, you don't want to
be seeing the guys little baseball matswhen they're going up, you know,
when there's kids watching the games. They're saying there's also an availability problem.

(29:11):
Guys are having to go to DickSporting Goods to buy extra pairs of pants
because they're just not enough. Usually, you know, you go into the
locker room, you've got extra pantsand shirts and belts and everything. They
say, there's not enough of thisstuff. They don't have them, So
guys are buying their own extra extragear. It's just a complete disaster.
It's a major, major disaster. But if you see some of these pictures,

(29:33):
it's hilarious. Looks like they're wearingdiapers. You can see it'll all
looks like they're wearing diapers or somethingso breatheability and stretchability. It sounds nice,
but they're going to need to addan extra laracy. You can't see
everybody's junk. Good job, MajorLeague Baseballs. Guy's got some some Nike
shorts on under his diaper. Ican see right now. A lot of

(29:55):
guys wear those compression shorts and youcan clearly see those things through because a
lot of them are like black. We're a dark color. Yes, that's
what it is. You can clearlysee those That's hilarious. All right,

and be like, yeah, I'mgonna that thing? All right? Whoa
easy? Get to line the guns. Wait for some of these guesses.
Let's get two of them. MorningJV Show Family. This is Joey from
Sanose. My guess is shave shave. That's a very popular guest coming in

(33:13):
with shape. But I agree withthat one. Who is the first person
that's like, you know what, let's get the wool off of that thing.
Let's shave that. Yeah. GoodMorning JV Show. This is Sophia
from NAPA, and I think thebleeped out word is I'm gonna wear that
thing. Have a great day.He question would Peter be Man about using

(33:36):
wool from a sheep? I mean, you're not harming the animal, right,
You're just hey you let me,let me have some of that,
give that off or else a sandwich. Good morning, JV Show. This
is Aaron from Samose. My guessis ride. You have to be to
write a sheep? No? No, they're big and strong. So I

(33:57):
had ten sheep as a kid.Don't remember this. We raised one in
the house until it got too big. The thing got very, very big
and strong. His name was Smokeyrip Sploh. Good morning. This is
Tiffany from Santo's Day. My guessis brush, Missy JV. I'm not
buzzing the part of ye brush brushbrush. You can't brush the sheep.

(34:20):
It's too thick and coarsely hickory.Thatchet it is. It's thick old bush
bush ol of f wool it isit not? It's not for its woolf's
wool. Yeah, wool all right, So continue to leave your guesses.
No one has gotten it yet.Go to the talkback mic now on the
iHeartRadio apple Play. Some more ofyour guess is next here on Wildity for
night the JV Show on Wild ninetyfour nine, we're playing our game What

(34:45):
Love this part of the morning,So it really starts at seven oh five
that's where we give you the firstlisten to the clip of the day,
which contains a bleeped outward. Now, the whole point of the game is
for you to guess what that bleepedout word is. Leave your guesses using
the talk back on the free iHeartRadioapp. First person to gets the word
correctly wins, in this case, tickets for Comedy Jam, which is going

(35:07):
down next week. Now, incase you missed the clip, here,
it is I wonder who was thefirst guy ever in history to just look
at a sheep and be like,yeah, I'm gonna okay, it's a
good question. I've wondered it.Remember this is a family show, so
it is a clean word. Allyour guesses gotta be clean. Let's get

(35:27):
to the talkbacks. Good Morning JAVShow. This is Angelic from Shelly Andrew
and is it. I'm gonna dreamabout that thing sheep. Have a great
day, y'alls. Such a goodcouple people had that guys count about counting
the sheep. That was a goodgues Wow. Any who'sy's next talkbacks?

(35:52):
Good morning Y'all's Charlie be from Concer. Let me just check my fax machine,
so I looks like today, theanswer is gonna be dressed. Dress
the sheep, Dress the sheep.Love y'all, my respect, rip JV,
the living legend, Selena Graham,Jeff, thank y'all for holding it

(36:13):
up. Cheaty right on, thankyou, thank you so much. And
by the way, today is theone year anniversary of JV's last show on
air here at Waladney. For nights, we're gonna be talking about him all
morning, more so at eight ofive. But you're gonna be hearing a
lot of talkbacks here and there mentioningJV. So that is why. All

(36:34):
right, back to what the bleepmore guesses, Good morning the show.
Let's just joy from point more like, eat the sheep. That's a good
guest. I've never had sheep. You've never eaten lamb before ever, he
not even in a euro or something. Maybe you didn't know it's there.
Nope, Jesse, I don't.I maybe have. I want to say

(36:59):
my family might have made it oncewhen I was small, but I don't
remember if it was exactly that.I don't remember if I decided to try
it too. It's shocked. Ifeel like most people have had lamb at
some point. I think you're right, but I look my house. We've
we've given it up. I feeltoo bad for the little guys. I
know I can't do it. HiJV Show. This is Kiro from Windsor

(37:20):
and I'm driving with my kiddos,Max and Stella, and we think the
bleeped out word is milk. Havea good day, JV Show, Miss
JV. Yes the winner. Allright, go here is today's clip,
unbleeped. I wonder who was thefirst guy ever in history to just look
at a sheep and be like, yeah, I'm gonna milk that thing.

(37:43):
You need the sheep cheep's milk tomake when they make feta out of that
and some other stuff, people drinkit. It's a thing. But yeah,
it's a good question, right,It's a very good question. Did
other people guess that? There weresome other no corluct guesses this morning and
some correct guesses, but you gotto be the very first one, like
Caira from Windsor or kids Max andStill I think what the names? They

(38:04):
were the very first correct answer. So they're gonna be going to comedy jam.
But Randy from San Jose at thecorrect answer, Sody Dandy be out
of San Francisco's up, Danty bGina from San Francisco, Marabel from Mendesto,
Sophia from Napa, Janelle from Sanlandro Luis from Pacifica, what's up?
Rachel from Oakland? How you doing? And several other people also came
up with the correct answer. Ican't shout out everybody, but a few

(38:27):
shoutouts then yes, but you gottabe the first person it's been all right.
That's how you win. Remember whenyou win with the bleep check your
email. That's how we're going toreach out to you to get you your
prize in Okay, we'll play againMonday morning, seven o five, Yes
we will, Graham, what doyou have here? All right? I
do want to also mention another popularguest there was Clone. A lot of
people guess Clone the show. Ohthat's a good guest. She'd be getting
cloned, all right. Have youguys heard of the Ryan Rodeo? It's

(38:49):
this weekend? No? Well, the Ryan Rodeo is a gathering that's attempting
to break the Guinness World Record forthe largest same name gathering. Now this
is in Texas, unfortunately, Soif your name is Ryan and you're listening.
You better get on a flight quickif you want to get to the
Ryan Rodeo. And basically they're tryingto break a record. This was set
in twenty seventeen, two three andtwenty five people named Ivan all came together

(39:14):
Bosnia. Now they hold the worldrecord the most Ivans. That it is
a very popular name there. Well, Ryan is a very popular name here,
and so the Great Ryan Rodeo,it's a Ryan. You have to
like, are they checking to makesure your name is actually Ryan? How
do we know for sure? Selena, I'm glad you asked that. There
is a very strict requirement to showa official identification to prove that your name

(39:35):
is Ryan. They're looking for peopleRyan r ya n. So if it's
another spelling, sorry, and theyare especially they are especially laying down the
law for Brian's b r ya nsbecause, as they say, Brian's are
just b list Ryan's and I agreewith that hard though. I agree with
that wholeheartedly. So if you're aBrian, don't even think about trying to

(39:59):
get in there. And there's gonnabe live music and food and all sorts
of things. Now you may rememberin the city of Kyle, Texas.
They attempted to break that record withthe most number of Kyle's. Kyle's couldn't
get there, you know what together, and they fell short of the goal.
So let's see if Ryan Brian don'teven think about it, they're going

(40:24):
to be screening you from entry. So I'm assuming we'll have an update next
week to see how We'll have anofficial count from the Ryan Rodeo The JV
Show on wild ninety four nine allday celebrating JV. Today is the one
year anniversary of his last show hereon these airwaves at Wilding for nine,
so it's a very emotional day forus. Appreciate everyone leaving talkbacks. Good

(40:47):
morning guys, Andy Luna here,I just want to say one thing.
I'm so happy that JV had suchan influence and a big impact to the
Bay Area, especially for the eighties, nineties, early two thousands listeners and
even this new generation now because Iknew who JV was and I never really
listened to the show until January twentytwenty, and he changed my life.

(41:09):
He made my commutes to work somuch happier, very uplifting, and for
that, I'm really thankful for JV. Yes, thank you for bringing that
up. That's that's how I wanteveryone to remember him. Yeah, not
the struggle that he faced, youknow, those last couple of years,
but that part. It's something toaspire to. Everybody that's listening. Now,

(41:30):
think about in your own life, you know, what about your legacy
and how many people's lives you impacted. I mean, a few people are
gonna have be so lucky to impactso many lives as JV did. But
think, just do in your ownlife, affect as many lives as you
can in a positive way. That'sjust all we can aspire to be.
Right, We are going to talkmore about JV how we're doing with everything.

(41:52):
A year later. We'll talk aboutthat more eight o five. Right
now, we got to get tothe phone. What's welthening for nine?
Hi? Who is this? Goodmorning? Hi Angie, good morning.
You are on to play the JVShow. Yep, nope, game,
no pressure, okay, but yougotta get at least three questions right,
three out of four? Two wintickets for Jennifer Lopez Yep. These tickets

(42:15):
are on the line for you tocheck her out at Chase Center. Yeah,
she's coming this summer, so we'recrossing her fingers and know you can
do it. Are you ready?I think? All right? Here's question
number one. How many sides doesa trapezoid shape have? Oh no,

(42:36):
that would be four? Six?Is a hexagon? Trapezoid is just like
a square that's kind of leaning right, Yeah, the sides are kind of
tilted in or tilted out. Yeah, yeah, all right. Question number
two, A wattle is a termthat can be used to describe a group
of what type of flightless bird awattle? Yeah, there you go.

(43:00):
There's some cute around everywhere. Ourquestion number three Maybe because it makes him
look smarter. Doc is the onlyone of the seven dwarfs that wears what
anybody looks smarter they do. Theyhave like an incredible effect. I don't
know why that is. Shouldn't weshouldn't that be a sign that, like,

(43:22):
you have an inferior you're really goodat that. Shouldn't it be a
sign that, like, hey, your eyes aren't as good as mine?
But instead we're like, wow,if I have a question about trigonometry,
I'm gonna bring it to you first. It's weird phenomenon. All right,
Question number four, You need thisone to win the game. The Grizzlies
are an NBA team that plays theirhome games in what city the Grizzlies?

(43:50):
Oh, gee, San Francisco.I don't know San Francisco. It's Memphis,
the Memphis Grizzly. Dang it,I'm not about Sorry all good.
That was kind of a it's kindof a tricky one if you don't there's
a couple of franchise pro sports franchises. You're like, what what what?

(44:15):
Where do they I was thinking, yeah, it's all it's all so Angie.
Oh, I hate when this happened. You didn't win a show.
You have no game. I knowyou were so close to getting these j
Loo tickets. Like, I'll tellyou what, I'm gonna put you on
hold, Cheaty, Now you canwear something out, okay, sweet talker,

(44:37):
Okay, all right, you're welcome, Angie. Have a good weekend.
Okay you too at the anniversary goodday. Yeah, thank you so
much for that. Oh man,I hate when that happens so close.
No, my god, I justwow, she lost, Like, okay,

(44:57):
maybe talk to Cheaty. You couldget those tickets and then you just
slam the phone writer. That wasan accident. Weekend click I don't know.
I'm so out of it. Thismorning the JV Show on Wild ninety
four nine, it is the oneyear anniversary of JV's last show here on
Wild, so we're talking about himall morning. Thank you to everyone who
has taken the time out to sendus these talkbacks. Good morning, JBS

(45:20):
show. This is one from Oakland. JB used to know me as titof
I want to know and it hasbeen very hard to hear and to remember
back that year ago and the lastshow. But every single day I try
to be positive and try to bea better person because I know that's what

(45:42):
JB wanted all of us to be. So cheers to JV. Cheers to
JV. Thank you so much forsaying that. Yeah, I think that's
the one takeaway from all of thisis and Grammy touching this a little bit
earlier, is just try to bebetter. Yep. Not that you're doing
horrible or anything that came save methe tone of that, but like I
think I speak for all of uswhen it's like you see the type of

(46:02):
person JB was who was just soloving, so welcoming, Like I think
we can all just strive to belike that. In our data hottest Things.
It's all the stuff you need toknow what's hot in music, movies,
shows, and the most talked aboutstories happening today in the Bay.

(46:22):
What the heck is with Joe Exoticthirsting for machine Gun Kelly? Honestly,
after I saw like the picture ofmachine Gun Kelly and Joe Exotic reposting the
blackout tattoo, like you know,I can kind of see it the mullet
type of situation. So apparently JoeExotic guess he's still in prison. He

(46:46):
saw the pictures the mg MG casegives me shared of the torso blackout tattoo.
If you haven't seen it yet,go to the jvshow dot com and
check out these photos. So JoeExotic got a little excited. He reposted
those pictures and wrote a tiger anda bit of meth I can make MGK

(47:07):
gay. But that's funny because it'strue. He also wrote in another post,
once you go tiger king, you'llforget about the fox. Oh I
see what you get there? Yeah, also true, I'm here for this
new relationships at too much free timeon his hands on it's not managing funked

(47:30):
Zoo. Yes, he thirsts mostlyafter people that he thinks can help him
get out of prison. I'm soglad you said that, Graham, because
in another post he said something alongthe lines of, well, now that
you and I are an item,MGK, maybe you can help me get
out of here. Oh here wego. Yeah. Yeah, I was
gonna say, there's there's an ulteriormotive with everything that jokes ontic does.

(47:51):
I think they would look cute together. Though he have for parole many times,
you know what I mean, he'sgot pretty lengthy sentence in there,
right, I don't. I haven'theard anything about parole. I mean,
he's so twenty two years that's whatI mean. This just started in twenty
nineteen, so he's got a longwaist to go, all right. Wendy
Williams Guardian just filed a lawsuit againstLifetime's parent company Just a Recap. This
weekend, Lifetime is airing a twopart documentary called Where Is Wendy Williams and

(48:15):
shows her family who have they saythey lost contact with Wendy. She's currently
in some type of facility to helpwith cognitive issues, and her family says
they're unable to reach her. Theonly person who knows where she is and
can like have contact with her onthe regular. Is her court appointed guardian.
And apparently that some woman named SabrinaMorrissey who just filed a lawsuit against

(48:37):
any television networks. But the lawsuitis sealed, meaning we don't know any
of the details about it. Wedo know that she is seeking a temporary
restraining order, which is typically whatsomebody does when they want a judge to
step in and stop the release ofa movie or a show. So it's
clearly about this documentary that's about tocome out. Is a judge going to
stop it in time? No,the hearing date for this isn't set in

(49:00):
till next week, so but youwould think there'd be some sort of emergency
injunction thing. They could file somekind of motion to stop it, to
speed it up from coming out,and then yeah, I either get get
a hearing prior to the release date, because what's the point. I'm sure
she would love that, but itdoesn't look like that's I mean, that's
going to happen. So it reallyis just that one person and Black China
who have gotten the chance to talkto her, because that now, that

(49:22):
makes it even weirder of how BlackChina got the chance done see honestly,
and we're gonna have to watch thedocumentary this weekend, but it leads me
to believe that Wendy probably doesn't wantto talk to her family. That's what
I think. She doesn't have aclose relationship with them after all these years.
Maybe she's been separated from them, and maybe she personally reached out to
Black China. They are friends. And we're bringing up China because there's a

(49:42):
snippet from the documentary where they havea sit down together. So yeah,
you wonder if like a lot offractured relationships and her family or about the
people trying to get money from herand stuff, you know, and maybe
she's like, no, I don'tever want to see those people. By
the way, in case you missedthe big news yesterday, Wendy's care team
revealed, uh what, Wendy's beendiagnosed with frontote and poral dementia and primary

(50:02):
progressive aphasia. Not good. Yeah, so that's what she's currently dealing with,
grem What do you have in today'shotest, trending, exciting news you
guys, Yeah, we did itfor the first time ever. We landed
on the Moon. Yeah, alittle typo there. For the first time

(50:25):
in more than fifty years, anAmerican spacecraft has successfully landed on the Moon.
No people on this one, likethe last time either, where the
astronauts of the seventies were out likeplaying golf and driving ATVs and bar hopping
and whatnot up there. This wasjust a lunar lander, unmanned, you
know, lunar lander carrying mass. That would have been iconic. You we're

(50:45):
not doing that no more. We'renot doing that for a couple more years,
Slida. Getting back to the Moonwith all of today's technology has proven
to be very difficult. We've seena lot of these attempts fail. There
have been a couple of successful onesby other countries. Uh. It was
just a lot easier in simpler timespre internet to land something up there.
Anyway, Yesterday a private company,Intuitive Machines, they successfully landed their Odysseus

(51:08):
lunar lander. It landed near thesouth pole of the Moon. Very tense
moments as there is a delay inthe signal coming back from this thing back
to you know, the command center, and it actually lost signal for about
fifteen minutes. So the crowded engineershad to hold their breath for quite some
time before this thing confirmed started sendingsingles again that it had touchdown safely.

(51:29):
Then everybody, all the nerds, just erupted into massive cheers. It was
actually a really really cool, exciting, very exciting moment. But like,
doesn't party you want to be likedudes, act like we've been there before,
right, Why is everyone so excitedthis time? We've done this before,
it should be like a lot easier. Look like this thing was using
some sort of laser guided landing system, they said before a lot of the

(51:51):
sensors would get confused by the dustcoming off the moon before, so they
were using lasers this time, stuffthat we didn't really have. I mean
we had lasers back then, notthe same like that laser guidance system before.
This is exciting. This is anexciting day, you guys. Thank
you Graham the JV Show on Wildninety four nine. So today is the
one year anniversary of the last showthat Graham that we did with with JV

(52:16):
right here on wildney four nine.So it's a really emotional day for us.
Very We're gonna try not to makethis something sad. We want to
celebrate him. We want to honorhim. And also thank you to everyone
who's been leaving talkbacks and Graham,I just can't believe myself. It's been
a year since JV's been gone. But I was just wondering how Natasha's doing.

(52:43):
If you can kind of give usan update. I think about her
too and what she must be goingthrough. Thanks guys. Yeah, we
actually reached out to Natasha. Graham. You had the great idea of us
trying to get her on for today'sshow. I reached out to her,
and it's she took her a really, really long time to respond. I
just wanted to know if she wantedto come on the air, not to

(53:07):
you know, make this sadder thanit already is. Let's just hear from
you. You know a lot ofpeople ask all the time about that question
how she's doing, and I,you know, I just don't feel comfortable
speaking on her for her, youknow, I feel like certain things should
come from her, and that's whywe've been kind of, you know,
quiet about how she's doing. ButI did reach out to her yesterday.

(53:28):
It took her a long long timeto respond, and she said that she
didn't want to come on here andbe a total downer, because that's just
kind of where she is at thisweek and this week understand, it has
been very hard on her, andshe's not looking forward to this weekend,
which, as you know, isgoing to be even harder. And she
says, you know, maybe ifshe's in a better space later on,
it's something that she, yeah, would be willing to do. She knows

(53:51):
it's an open door anytime that absolutelywants to come on with us. And
I look, I figured she probablywouldn't. I don't think I would.
If I was in her shoes,I'd be able to, you know,
come on the air and talk aboutit. It's particularly this week, you
know, I've I've had this daykind of you know, looming on the

(54:12):
calendar for some time, like I'vethought about it, like I don't even
feel like I can go through itbecause it's gonna it just seems still Yes,
it's been a year, but itstill seems very fresh and raw,
and it's very emotional, particularly youknow, for Selena and I and well,
I knew today was going to bea tough one, you know,
I knew that that was the thingI was thinking before I went to bed
last night, like, oh man, I think, yeah, it's Friday,

(54:36):
but this is not the Friday, you know, right, and I
want to look for it. Thankeveryone for still listening to the JV Show,
for hanging out with us. Imean, it's not just Graham and
I's loss, it's the entire Bayarea. I said earlier that I can
literally put myself back in that spotwhen like you get that text, you
get that call that something's not right. And I think everyone can think back
to a year ago and you knowexactly where you were when you heard,

(54:58):
you know, either on the JVShow or maybe a friend texted you like,
oh my god, did you doyou know what's happening with JV?
Like everyone has a memory of that, and it's really patiful to have to
relive. And so I'm just gladthat we have the community that we have
built here on the JV Show. We're all here for one another. I'm
thank you to everyone who's reached out, who's you know, even especially the

(55:19):
people who, like, on arandom Tuesday, will leave a talk bag
like JB be so proud of you, Like, yeah, that means so
much. I just have to justpile on and say the exact same thing.
I just want to thank everybody.I mean, Selena and I both
know that these shoes that we aretrying to fill are so damn big.
They cover the entire Bay area. These are the biggest shoes that were attempting

(55:42):
to fill and can't even come clutterdream of filling one one thousandth off And
we get it. But you know, like JV would have wanted us to
keep having laughs and having fun anddoing the thing that he loved more than
anything was radio. Like I mean, he absolutely fell in love with radio
and that love never went away. And so you know, we're trying our

(56:07):
best to carry the torch, youknow, but I just can't thank everyone
enough that's that stuck with us.And there's a lot of Look, there
are a lot of people that startedlistening to us over last year that don't,
you know, that maybe don't understandthe full history of this show.
And I'm glad that you know, they've gotten to hear pieces of his voice
and you know, have laughs andGraham, do you do a lot of

(56:28):
times if I'm looking for something totalk about here on the JV Show,
or after we finished talking about something, if I'm like, oh my god,
that was so stupid. JV wouldhave thought that was stupid, or
or Jam would have thought that washilarious. I'm constantly thinking like what would
JV do? Yeah no, butyou always have to frame everything do in
this situation through the lens and Iflashed back to it, you know,
a year ago or some time whenwe were first back on the air,

(56:51):
and I that was the way Iframed everything every time I opened my mouth.
And still do I think about what, you know, like, what
did this make Jake? Make JVlaugh? Because if not shut up?
Yeah, Jad would love a nicebut Jean every time. Maybe we should
throw those in some more. Yeah, we know, we've got plenty,
We've got plenty of those, Jam, but you know what I mean,
it's just that's that's just kind ofthe overarching feel that I think I will

(57:15):
always have about this. And again, thank you to everybody. Yeah,
just appreciate it. And everybody that'sleft to talk back this morning spent the
world to us. And there werepeople leaving talkbacks in the weeks up.
You know, we didn't play manyof them, but a lot of people
were had this day marked, youknow, and we appreciate that, you
know, right, And I don'twant this whole thing to like circle back

(57:36):
as if it's just like promover aComedy Jam. That's not what it is.
But over the past year a lotof people have been asking, like,
when are we going to do somethingfor JV. Yeah, and Comedy
Jam is it? It's coming upnext week. I know that Wild and
Furnas put together like a really reallynice tribute for him. They've gathered things
not just from the JV show, but from the doghouse, Like the entire
doghouse is going to be there. This is our time to for the Bay

(58:00):
Area to unite, you know,as friends of JV. Because he did
consider you a friend, whether youyou know, friend and family believe that
or not, he really really did. So this is our time to really
get together and to celebrate him.And he always wanted for Comedy Jam to
come back, yes, and soto be able to finally do this for
him, it just I know itwould really mean a lot to him.

(58:22):
So we really hope that you canmake it. There are still tickets available,
just go to take it mastery dotcom. I know this week and
they're having a sale ten dollars offthat starts at ten am this morning,
So it's gonna be I've said thismany times to the entire area. We
need this. I can't wait forit. And no better way to honor,
you know, one of the funniestpeople ever with a night full of

(58:43):
laughs. And you know, I'msure there will be I'm gonna fog up,
as I like to say, myeyes, I know, gonna missed
up heavily. But to have ahave a night where we all laugh together,
it's going to be exactly. Imean, Oh my god, I
just called your TV. Oh mygod, I'm gonna cry. Why did
I just do that? It's topof mind. I can't I'm amazed I

(59:05):
made it through this part. Ifyou want to hear me cry, go
podcast. Earlier part of the show. I was going to ask you try
to hold it together. Do youremember that thing that we played a year
ago. We were playing it,you know, throughout the day on Wild
any for nine and it had canwe can we play that here? I
don't know if you guys remember thispromo that we would run and it was
just to remember JB and it wouldjust be really nice to hear his voice

(59:28):
right, I can play it.I'm I'm gonna warn everybody that you will,
indeed one hundred percent cry here.So if you're not ready for that,
you know, so sorry. Warning, we're going to play this promo.
Graham and I are going to needa few minutes after that to just
cry our eyeballs out. So weare going to go straight into commercials after

(59:49):
that, but don't go anywhere.Just please stick with us and rejoin us
after anytime. Now, well, you know you know what. I hit
the wrong button. Okay, sueme at World ninety four nine. We
will always remember JV. Every morninghe made us laugh. Honestly kn'd this

(01:00:12):
has happened to everyone thought in alaughing fit. So still so dumb,
I believe everybody. Don't look atItwhere are you going? This show?
Tell you he was always full oflove. We're gonna bring my mom on
here go morning morning, Love youbunches, love you more. That is

(01:00:35):
not true. I love you more. And throughout all his struggles, he
still cared enough to share his painand his hope with all of us.
I believe, as human beings,we are all going to fall or be
fragile at some point or we mightcompletely break and I did then. As
strong as I've been in my lifeand as much as I've accomplished, I'm

(01:00:55):
still human. But when I'm better, I need to go back to helping
others that are broken or hurt.If anyone else is struggling like right now
today, I just want you toknow you're not alone. And there's a
lot of people going through stuff. You know, I think about what other
people are going through, and there'sso many people hurting that need the rest
of us to get around them andhelp them and love them. Thank you

(01:01:17):
for everything, JB. To learnmore about the battle against lime disease,
please visit Bayarea lime dot org.The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Good Morning JVS Show. This ismel Tanaday, sending so much love
to you all, especially Graham andSelena. You guys have just been killing

(01:01:39):
it. JB would be so proudof you, and I just appreciate you
guys for just keeping the show going, and you guys are in my thoughts
and my prayers. Big hugs toyou and so much love to Natasha.
If you guys have a great day, well, thank you so much for
saying that. Can I do itcan we get a big Bay Area hug
and everyone squeeze ever the entire BayArea, San Jose, you get in

(01:02:01):
here, Walnut Creek, you getin here, Pacifica get in here.
Coffee breath coming on? Oh yeah, someone's taking Oh heyword, excuse me,
that would be a Milbray. Don'tlie. You know it's sank a
little bit when you drive through there. It does not milbray Milpitas. Sorry,
sorry, I didn't mean to dispirchthe name of Milbury. You take
that back. Talked about that.By the way, today we're talking about

(01:02:22):
JB. Heavily because it's the oneyear anniversary of his last show here on
Wow. Thank you so much everyonewho has left to talk back. Let's
talk about the AT and T outagethough, and the hell it cause for
one woman in particular. Yes,so we talked about how everyone was just
going through it yesterday because they hadno phone service. Everything was down for
EIGHTE and T users. Well, this one girl posted a video to TikTok

(01:02:45):
as she is crying. She isgoing through the drive through of Jack in
the Box and she is just tryingto get some help. She's literally sobbing
and she's recording all of this,of course, because you know gen Z,
doesn't you love when they record themselvescrying? So she is asking like
is anybody there? Like can Iget some help? I'm not trying to

(01:03:05):
order anything, but can you please? Like do you have a phone?
Like my phone has no service?I'm lost, I don't know where to
go, like I'm trying to justget home. So the guy from the
drive through is just like, oh, you have AT and T, Like,
yeah, everything's down right now.I don't like I have AT and
T too, Like I have noservice. She's like, well, do
you have a phone that I canuse in there? And he's just like
no, sorry. So she's justlike wandering off right. She was able.

(01:03:30):
She did reply to a comment sayingshe wasn't able to make it home
eventually, but she was just indistress, like not knowing what to do.
So she was like three blocks fromher house. I couldn't get there
without the navigation. Everybody with thenavigation no, just know how to get
home. What if you were outof town yesterday, What if you were
on a work trip, You're inan unknown city and you're like on your
way somewhere and your phone goes outand you're like, what do I do

(01:03:52):
now? Yeah, stop and askfor Directionsn't nobody's done that? And like
forever, honestly, I would beafraid to you don't do that. You
don't mesh we fit in the middleof the night because there's a lot of
places like stores that are closed. So who are you going to go up
to and ask? So obviously peoplein the comments are very concerned for this
generation because they're saying, we wouldnot be able to survive without phones.

(01:04:14):
We wouldn't, I honestly think aboutthat all the time before cell phones?
How did people go anywhere? Howdid anybody? How did you go anywhere?
Kid? Get picked up on time? You know what I mean?
Like, how did you? Idon't know? How do we do to
survive? Omars? Tell us?How did you survive? Like the serious
question. Other people were literally likeI'm going to go buy a map and

(01:04:34):
just keep it in my car incase this happens to me. Ever,
because I just what do you do? I mean, you think about it?
You know. Here there was speculationrunning rampant yesterday about what caused this
thing, and a lot of people, you know, one of the prevailing
theories at the start was it wasa solar flare. Oh my god.
Now look that doesn't appear to bewhat it was. But not to mean

(01:04:54):
that can't knock out self service.A big enough solar flare, of course,
can can wreak havoc with all kindsof communication technology. So you better
prepared, be prepared to yeah, know how to put a map in your
car? I guess for the solarflare moment. I love at and T's
explanation about what caused it. Here'swhat they said yesterday. Based on our

(01:05:14):
initial review, we believe that today'soutage was caused by the application and execution
of it incorrect process used as we'reexpanding our network, not a cyber attack.
We're continuing our assessment of the outageto ensure we're delivering the service that
our customers deserve. That was wordsalid. That meant nothing the application of
a process of an expanding network. What get out of here? One,
you're expanding your network every single day, at least you should be. If

(01:05:36):
you're a good cell phone company, right, you should be putting up towers
every single day in areas that don'thave service. That's your job and getting
the service better, but that oneday everybody, hundreds of thousands of customers
all go down once. I'm notbuying that it's meat. People were comparing
it to Leave the World Behind onNetflix movie that I told you about with

(01:05:56):
Ethan Hawk and Julia Roberts. Uhhuh. They we cannot right without our
phone. But there is one livehack in cases ever does happen. People
were sharing in the comments that thereis an office line, but you know
you do that. No, thereis an offline version of Google and Apple
Maps that you can download on yourphone ahead of time. In cases ever
happens to you. You can downlike certain sections of the map. That

(01:06:18):
way you can use it offline. You can get the nearest Starbucks back to
your house. Ye to talk aboutget here? I can't remember. I
only looked four minutes away? DidI get here? All right? The
JV Show on Wild ninety four nine, Graham, what do you got all
right? Florida lawmakers? You guyslisten to this Florida being at the forefront

(01:06:41):
of somewhat reasonable thinking. If younever happen, If you ask me,
this might be the first time I'veever agreed with something Florida's pushing forward,
but they have a bill on theFlorida Senate that has passed bipartisan lee,
which is shocking in today's world. This would ban social media sites from allowing
anyone under the age of sixteen onthere. So you got to be you

(01:07:05):
have to be sixteen years old toembark on your social media journey. Now,
this still has some hoops to jumpthrough before it hits the governor's desk,
and the governor there is questioning whetheror not it sounds like he's a
proponent of it, but whether ornot it will hold up in court,
as it will inevitably get challenged likeany new law that gets passed here.

(01:07:25):
Other there have been a couple otherstates that have tried to pass something similar
and all those things, all thosebills have been locked up in the courts.
But let's just say that this somethinglike this does go through or happened
here in California. Are you herefor this? You got to be at
least sixteen to use social media?Of course I'm here for it, but
I just think there's not really away to prevent them from getting on.

(01:07:48):
Yeah, to really, what's theword I'm looking for? Graham to really
uh what I said, Yeah, prevent Yeah, I was looking for a
different word, but that makes sensetoo. Yeah, you can't really control
that the younger teens from getting onthere, making fake profiles, using fake
birth dates, Like it's so easyto bypass that. Yeah, I mean
you could say that kind of aboutanything. You're never gonna be but you

(01:08:09):
can make something illegal, you know, using certain substances. People will still
figure out a way to do it, and I'll still do it, but
I think you can drastically reduce it, right, I mean, you're never
gonna be able to completely wa people. There's workarounds, and of course people
will figure it out, but willevery kid figure it out? Somebody might
be like, Okay, no,I'm gonna wait till then and study that

(01:08:31):
I don't study after a study showshow detrimental it is to a developing brain
of thirteen year olds, fourteen yearolds and stuff like that. So the
science backs it up. You bigtech companies, that big social media companies,
they don't want to back it up, even though they've known it,
their own studies have shown it.And I mean I gotta say I'm here
for it. If that was ateam though, and I'm only ten years

(01:08:53):
removed. I'm only twenty six anda half. Y right, yeah,
so you're taking TikTok away. Hright, but what if it's one of
those things I mean for parents, what a great way to be Like,
I was gonna let you get onthere, get your TikTok account next year
at thirteen or sorry, new law, You'm going to jail. Yeah,

(01:09:14):
gotta wait till sixteen. Now,there's a lot of parents saying I want
to be the one. Don't tellme, o parent. If my fifteen
year old I think they're mature enoughto be on there, I'll be the
one to decide that. So you'regonna be fighting against those people. But
I don't know. I don't know. Very interesting. Well, thank you,
Graham. We do have to moveforward. Coming up inside today's had
his trending at the fifty fives,Brandy Glanville is accusing Andy Cohen of sexual

(01:09:38):
harassment. I have those details,Yeah, got those details coming up.
Also, thank you to everyone who'sreached out today. It is the one
year anniversary of JV's last show hereon Wild Thy four nine. Good morning,
JV's show. I'm sure you're gettinga lot of messages just like this,
but I want to add my voiceto say that I can't believe it's

(01:10:00):
been a year and you guys havebeen just amazing in carrying on and honoring
JVS legacy and continuing the show andcontinuing to touch all of us and make
our days better. Thank you somuch for saying that. Talgics like that

(01:10:20):
really do mean a lot. Andthen a reminder a lot of people wanting
to get together to celebrate JV.Comedy Jam. That's where we're gonna do
it, Comedy Jam is. Imean, we've only put this together to
really honor JV and it's gonna benefitBay Area Line, which is a foundation
very near to JV's heart. Makesure to get those tickets sigimaster dot com.

(01:10:44):
It's all the stuff you need toknow what's hot and music, movies,
shows, and the most talked aboutstories happening today in the Bay Been.
Its all sponsored by Jeanine's bridell joinedme at their San Francisco location this
weekend. I'll be there this Sunday. They're having this huge wedding expos from
noon to four. Make sure youRSVP okay, like go now to Jeaninsbridle
dot Com, slash Expo. Allright, so really quick. I thought

(01:11:08):
this was pretty cool. Dolly Parton, the Queen of Country, is showing
love and support to Beyonce. Beyonce'scountry single Text Them, Hold Them Texas
Hold Them debuted at number one,and Dolly posted about it. She said
quotes, I'm a big fan ofBeyonce and very excited that she's done a
country album. So congratulations on yourBillboard Hot Country number one single. Cannot

(01:11:30):
wait to hear the full album.Wow. I think it's just cool that
she's kind of leading the charge andwelcoming Beyonce to the genre. Is not
everybody's happy about it, yeah, but it's nice, you know, women
supporting women. Yeah. Whereas likeanytime there's a new like rap album that
drops, Nicki Minaj, is thereto hate on it or Cardib's there to
hate on it, or somebody's thereto hate on it. It's like true

(01:11:53):
or Making the Stallion's there to hateon it. It's like, can you
guys just be happy for one another? For ones? You know? Random?
But you know who wants to doa collab with Dolly Parton? I
saw that Snoop Dog wants to pleasedo that. Oh my god, I
would love that. That would behilarious. Right now, it's Brandy Glanville
accusing Andy Cohen of sexual harassment. So she had her attorneys fire off this

(01:12:18):
letter to Bravo because she's threatened tosue Bravo too. She's claiming that she's
been subject to a vicious media campaignbased on false allegations, and there's all
this stuff. I want to focuson the Andy Cohen thing, Okay.
So in this letter, she claimsthat back in twenty twenty two, drunk
Andy sent her a video where hequote boasted that he wanted to sleep with

(01:12:39):
another Bravo star while thinking of her, And she says that Andy invited her
Brandy to watch over FaceTime. WhatAndy responded to this entire thing? He
tweeted, the video shows Kate Chastainand I are very clearly joking to Brandy.
It was absolutely meant in jest, and Brandy's response clearly communicated that she

(01:13:03):
was in on the joke that saidit was totally inappropriate and I apologize.
But according to Brandy's attorney, he'snot trying to make it seem like Brandy
had to laugh along because Andy Cohenwas her boss and he was in complete
control over her career. Look,Brandy's not a very likable person. Was
it an inappropriate workplace joke? Ifyou're considering that to be I guess the

(01:13:27):
lines on reality TV are probably blurredwinter when you're not in the workplace.
And yes, that's a coworker technically, But some drama just follows some people,
right, And this one, tome, I'm just not buying it.
Brandy Lanville makes some awful off colorremarks and jokes, like if we're
suing Andy for this, then peopleline up to file the lawsuits against her

(01:13:50):
because she says some outlandish stuff andhas I've watched a lot of these real
house web shows she no, Iremember, she's going to be the moral
authority on what jokes should pass getout of here? And also Andy Cohen,
I don't know if you've noticed hedon't want you. Yeah, he's
gay, trust me, right,I'm not part of the Doesn't that give

(01:14:12):
him a pass to make that joke? Like, you clearly know he's joking,
But then again, you can't ifthey felt a certain way, they
felt uncomfortable, like you can't tellthem otherwise I get you know what I
mean, that may be her truth. So I guess we'll have to just
give her the benefit of the doubt. By the way, Brandy Glanville,
fun fact, do you know whereshe's from? She's from like Sacramento or
something. Selenas, Oh, Selenaswhat what ess? Boy? You're so

(01:14:39):
extra? Questions like that just likerocked her world. Like, dude,
I don't know. My life willforever be changed after getting that information.
All right, Graham, what doyou all right? A couple of quick
things to mention this morning, fromthis week that I don't want to fall
to, you know, I don'twant to fall through the cracks. First,
Berlin Game, come on down. You're the next city to get a

(01:15:00):
Top Golf. That's right. TopGolf getting set to open just their second
Bay Area location. There's currently onlyone in San Jose, but the company
estimates that towards the end of thisyear they'll have a location open at I
already said Burling Game, come ondown, so I will reiterate that it
is Burling Game that is the locationtwo fifty ands of Boulevard. That is

(01:15:21):
just ton. That's cool, allright? And speaking of things, opening
up. Here there is one ofthose very rare corpse flowers that is getting
set to open up and bloom. It's at the California Academy of Sciences here
in San Francisco, the Titan aramflower. If you're not familiar with it,
it's the world's largest flower, butit's also the world's stinkiest, hence

(01:15:41):
the name the corpse flower. Theythink this thing is going to go into
bloom sometime between February twenty fifth andtwenty ninth. This you know, people
are going to want to be therefor that because the smelliness of it.
It only lasts one to three days, and it draws really big crowds.
People want to line up. Iwant to see it, but they want
to get a whiff of it.And what makes them all the much more

(01:16:05):
of a spectacle is that the onlybloom once every five to seven years or
so. This particular plant gifted theCalifornia Academy of Science says this is its
first bloom. They got it backin twenty seventeen, and they say there's
a chance these flowers they bloom onceand they never bloom again. So it's
a very rare thing to be ableto see this. I'm thinking about going

(01:16:26):
because Lenny, if you remember, and I think it might have been all
the way back twenty seven to twentyeighteen, the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers,
they had one going to bloom again. This is how rare it is.
It only happens, you know, once every several years. And I
went on like day three and Imissed the stink. Oh that's right,
there was no I mean I putmy nose right up to it. And
they say, when it's in fullbloom, you can smell this thing from

(01:16:48):
like four or five blocks away. That's how bad it is. When I
got there, zero stink. Sothis one I might try to time out.
So with the twenty fifth, that'sSunday, right, yes, so
twenty fifth, twenty six, Somaybe either Sunday or Monday. Do you
think you could maybe bring some ofthe stink in to the studio. Well,

(01:17:08):
that's what we were thinking about doinglast time, is cap bringing something
to capture some of it, andthen we could open it on the air
Monday. The jets or cheaty whatevercould smell, because I will have smelled
it in person. They say thesmell sticks to your clothes. By the
way, I already smelt it thelast time. Brought some some smelling and
none. Yeah, but it waslike so faint you couldn't it was hardly
smelling. Maybe you could go Primeblue. That's what I'm saying. I

(01:17:30):
want to get their Prime Blue.I'm gonna ring a couple of jars,
will capture it. I'll one forjust one for cheaty. If I can
get two jars and we'll have themopen it on the air. Sounds good,
Graham. That'll be Monday morning hereon the JV Show. The JV
