Now we're back at work.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
Out to work. Everybody going back today? What am I doing?
Speaker 4 (00:11):
We feel your pain? The JV Show is back live.
It's Waldeney for nine to Base number one hit music station.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
I'm Selena Room and I'm Jess.
Speaker 4 (00:19):
Let's get to the first talkback of the day. Look,
I forgot how to do my job. But what do
we do now?
Speaker 3 (00:23):
First talkback maybe of twenty twenty six?
Speaker 5 (00:26):
Oh yeah, hey, it was soyes, Good morning, it's a
lessus from Antica hoping it's the first talk back of
twenty twenty six.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
I hope you guys had a good break.
Speaker 5 (00:35):
Welcome back there, it is, thank you, first talk back
at twenty twenty six.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Whoa love it?
Speaker 5 (00:40):
Well, unless somebody of course left one, you know, right,
because like today's the fifth, so somebody may left to
talk about yesterday.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Before, like on the actual first I'll get.
Speaker 5 (00:49):
Back to You'll let you know what number of talk
pack that is. It's definitely not the first.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Let's do a second talk back of the day.
Speaker 6 (00:54):
Good morning, guys, it's without the haircut.
Speaker 7 (00:56):
Welcome back, from vacation. You were truly missed.
Speaker 6 (01:00):
But you know I gotta start this Monday off with
the rains. Oh Graham, I'm really sorry about your Niners,
but you can't win them all. But what I'm really
looking forward to is next Monday, when all you Niner
fans are gonna be telling us, well, at least we
made the playoffs after them Eagles smack that at.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
Okay, first thing, guess what you suck.
Speaker 5 (01:25):
It is better to make the playoffs than not make
the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
It is having a winning season and a winning team.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
I'm sorry, it is better, much better.
Speaker 5 (01:33):
Forty nine ers have a tough draw, and look, they
might lose, they might, they might they might also win,
and I think they have a pretty good shout of that.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
We shall see.
Speaker 5 (01:43):
But that brings us to this because look, the NFL
regular season wrapped up, and we have some bets to
settle you guys. Perhaps you remember our season long win
total projection bet. I represented the Niners, Selena the Raiders,
Jess for New York Giants of Salinas.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
Shall we take account of that?
Speaker 5 (02:04):
Yeah, each picked a win total that the team that
we were representing was going to have and how many
we were off by that more or less is the
number of times we were going to spin the chug
wheel and chug. Were they full chugs or were they
just shots?
Speaker 4 (02:18):
Just shots, I think little more than shots and not
full chugs abbreviated chugs.
Speaker 5 (02:23):
Ye, yes, okay, I'll go first because I projected that
the forty nine ers would have eleven wins this season,
and you guys, they finished with twelve wins this season.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
So that little loss to Seattle the other night, I
don't know.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
That would have resulted in me chugging again. So I
will be doling out my own punishment, which is one
spin of the wheel and one chug. Nice job, look
at you. Next?
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Can I go to.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
Sure, Jess? You New York giantsown.
Speaker 8 (02:55):
Team, the New York Giants, and I selected five wins.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
We beat the.
Speaker 8 (03:00):
Cowboys yesterday, you guys, and oh my god, the smile
on my face because we got.
Speaker 9 (03:05):
Four wins total.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
What you guys?
Speaker 5 (03:09):
The Giants finished four and thirteen on the year. And
I saw that final score yesterday and I was like,
oh man, Jess is happy the Giants finish with two
straight wins. That really dug you out of the chugging
so jess only one chuck. Wow, you guys.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
First, this not even a Raider person.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Know what, you didn't get forced into it. You're part
of the show. You needed to be part of the poll.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
It was like, like, who's your football team, that's who
you're gonna you know, represent the Raiders. I do not,
but whatever, But because I'm a team player, I agreed
after my hands forced.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Okay, and we have three wins.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
And how many did you pick?
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Six?
Speaker 5 (03:53):
Oh and look and look they squeaked out of wind
yesterday squeaked out a win. Uh and the Raiders finished
at three and fourteen. Hell of the season, Raiders, Hell
the season. Get the number one overall pick though. All right,
so three chugs for you in place of doing our
normal chug wheel game on Fridays at eight twenty, should
(04:14):
this Friday we just hour spin that way yeah and
get this other way.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
Yes, and it'll be guaranteed chugging spend three times.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
My god, this is this is the worst. This is
the worst news ever, the worst news.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
I have the whole week to prepare, true, to get
my stomach ready and primed for whatever it's going to land.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
On a couple other football related becks.
Speaker 5 (04:36):
We had, well, I should say I had a bet
a Niner win total versus Raiders win total with our
buddy Ruben Tito from Sacktown. That was a foregone conclusion
a long long time ago. Loser was gonna have to
take a shoey, So we're gonna have to line up
Rubensito to come in here and take a shoeye. So
that one's easily settled. But we already knew the outcome
of that one now. But one that gets a little
(04:56):
cloudy and a little murky, you guys, because there were
people that were like, we're on board this bet, but
I don't know if we ever settled on what the
consequence was for losing. The bet was a New York
Giants versus Raiders bet, right, and the Giants won that game,
and I was on the Giant side right with Jess.
And then we had some listeners that were on the
(05:16):
Raiders side obviously, and they were like, well, I'll do anything,
I'll chug all does it. But did we ever officially
settle that one because we won the bet?
Speaker 4 (05:27):
Yes, yes, I thought he said he was going to
run in his thong around the block.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
No, I'm going to need thats got to do something,
and then there's somebody else.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
So they wanted to spin the chuggle. I feel like
they wanted to they wanted to.
Speaker 5 (05:40):
Chug whatever it was. There were three listeners, and we
need they're going to reach back out. We're going to
figure out what it was because they lost.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
All right.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
Next on the JV Show, let's talk about our New
Year's resolutions.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine Time four.
The four things you need a heads up on to
start your day.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
All right, don't forget that.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
Bridge tolls went up January first, So if it's your
first day back to work and you forgot that, the
bridge toll.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
Is now eight fifties BS, here's your heads up.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
And that's for all Bay Area bridges except for the
Golden Gates.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
Yeah, that one's already more expensive.
Speaker 7 (06:17):
I think.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
All right, the NFL regular seasons come to a close
and the playoff picture is set. The forty nine ers
had a chance to snag the number one overall seat
and get a bye for this weekend, but they lost
to the Seahawks on Saturday. They're now and they excuse me,
are now the number one seed. So the twelve and
five nine ers now have to hit the road to
play the eleven and six Philadelphia Eagles. Kickoff in this
one from Philly is on Sunday at one thirty.
Speaker 9 (06:43):
We start to your week.
Speaker 8 (06:44):
We'll get most of the rain today with heavy showers
all across the Bay. Highs will be in the low
to mid fifties.
Speaker 5 (06:49):
Hey, five seas, Besty, your day, Today's going to be
at nine. If you've got kids, your good energy is
right on their wavelength. If not, you might be thinking
about parenthood or just eager to spend some time with
some fresh young minds.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Get out there and play.
Speaker 8 (07:05):
Oh little you know, I do want to adopt them,
you cat so.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
No, that's how this was about.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Do you want some fresh young minds?
Speaker 3 (07:12):
Yeah? No, hang out at your local park. You trying
to meet.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
Them the nice school down the street.
Speaker 5 (07:18):
Stuff sounds a little molested, little bit.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four.
Speaker 10 (07:26):
JV show, This is Happy New Year, guys. I hope
you guys had a great holiday. Miss Juke listen to
the podcast Wild Thoughts while you guys were out. Anyways,
Happy New Year. I hope twenty six bring you guys
lots of good things. Missed you.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Okay, bye bye that Yeah, Happy new Year? Listening to
Wild Thoughts, What's wrong.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
Though your entire holiday season of grossness?
Speaker 4 (07:59):
We are back live JV show Wild for nine. I'm
Selena and I'm just.
Speaker 8 (08:03):
And now that we've started a new year, you guys,
obviously we have to talk about.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
New Year's resolutions. Oh boy, yep, I saw.
Speaker 8 (08:10):
According to this new survey, millennials are the most likely
to make New Year's resolutions.
Speaker 9 (08:15):
You two in here, millennials, so let's hear them.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
I that doesn't shock me the millennials. Actually no, that
does shock me because I feel like millennials are most
likely to not follow through.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
With them, but continue me.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
I think both things can be true.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Okay, yeah, sure.
Speaker 9 (08:31):
So are you guys?
Speaker 8 (08:33):
Do you guys make actual resolutions or do you just
kind of have some goals here and there that you
want to call I just.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
Have more general goals, And every year it's the same thing. Oh,
you want to save more money, you want to be healthier,
be healthier, be more organized. I have a new one
this year, do tell And it's going to be really
really hard to accomplish. I'm going to try to or
I want my goal is to not block out.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Oh see, that's a hard one.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
What do you mean to black when she goes out?
That's that difficult.
Speaker 8 (09:09):
Yeah, we're talking about Selena here.
Speaker 5 (09:12):
Yeah, you're a seasoned drinker, like I'm a season drinker.
By the way, that this time off we just had.
I think I drank every single day except yesterday. And
yesterday I was like, I think I just need to
have a beer just so I can feel normal. But Selena,
by now, don't you know your general.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
Limits and things? I mean you're general.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
Yes, but there's still are times where I think, like,
like a lot of people, I can get carried away
if I'm having too much fun, if I'm and because
I don't go out a lot, I don't even really
drink like a lot got anymore.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
So, but if I can go a whole year without
blacking out, like come on, just do you think come on?
Speaker 5 (09:49):
Selena is the only person on this planet that made
that year's resolution. I had never heard that. When you
said this is new, I was like, all right, buck
Love told you, and you weren't lying. It was new,
one hundred percent new, all right, And how do we
hold you accountable for this? We just check in on
Mondays and see, yeah I did Selena block out?
Speaker 3 (10:13):
I guess so yeah, got it?
Speaker 5 (10:14):
Not really sure about that is that your number was
a top of the list. You know, they get in shape,
get healthy thing.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
I want to do more and this is boring, that's
why who cares?
Speaker 4 (10:24):
But I just want to do more things for myself too,
you know as a parent and Graham, you you know,
put your kids before yourself and you don't really do anything.
So I want to just do more stuff.
Speaker 5 (10:34):
Wow, it's weird because I sort of went the opposite
because my goal this year and probably last night and
four was like be a better parent, you know, but
you're just you want to do more stuff for you.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
I'm the one opposite. I want to just do more.
Speaker 5 (10:46):
For the kids, yes, because the time with them when
they're little is very limited.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
It goes by quick.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
So I want I want to get away from them
sometimes and just do things for me because that would
make me a happier person and I can be.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
A better parent.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
Got it? More mean time? Yes?
Speaker 5 (10:57):
Less blocking out? And is the splits is still on there?
Because you've wanted the last several years, probably since I've
known you, maybe the past decade. Or more you've wanted
to accomplish doing the splits. Do we just wipe that off?
Speaker 4 (11:12):
It's more wiped off now because I would have to
start now, like to be able to do it in like,
I don't know how long it takes the months, so
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
So we're just we can finally put that one to bed.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
I guess so for now, and I might we could
come back twenty twenty seven.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
My goal is to do the splits when there are
all these other great things, like not blocking out anymore,
if there's all these other lofty things you can put
forth into the universe.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
If I hear that one again, I quit.
Speaker 8 (11:39):
Now that you're focusing more on yourself, you're going to
have more time to practice your splits.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
Oh damn it good, I want to spend my time.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
All right, it's back and it's back in. She's doing
the splits, Jess. Your new Year's resolution top of the list.
Speaker 9 (11:51):
Uh, pretty boring ones as well.
Speaker 8 (11:53):
But I want to be like more intentional with the
things that I buy because I'm a shopper. I love
to shop. I love a good deal, love a good coupon.
So I'm only going to buy the things that I
really really need like starting like not out like in
a few weeks, because I still have some more shopping
to do before I really start. But that's what I
want to do, and I want to scroll less. Squirrel Squirrel,
(12:16):
I heard squirrel. I heard squirrel.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
Maybe Year's resolution should be to speak better because you guys, squirrel,
I have a squirrel story.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
When is it squirrel weekend? No, dude, I have the
most nuts squirrel story of all time?
Speaker 3 (12:29):
Can I tell it?
Speaker 4 (12:30):
Wait?
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Let's do it next? Yeah, but really quick? Do you
have an New Year's resolution?
Speaker 3 (12:33):
I did not. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (12:35):
I said sort of the same, the same general goals
I do every year. I think I would like less
time on my phone. I'm not a huge you guys know.
I don't sit there and like scroll a ton, but
I do more than i'd like. I don't want to
be doing it when my kids are around, because we
all do that. As a parent, you get caught up
and you're like, your kids are like, hey do that,
and you're like, hang on a second, I guess play.
Speaker 9 (12:55):
Catch with my dad.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
I got to see all this video ends of this,
you know whatever, I want less to that and then
you know, be healthier and.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
You know, yeah, stuff all right, Graham's epic squirrels are
not gonna believe it.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Next the JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
Don't even wait for me to take good morning and
welcome back hell.
Speaker 7 (13:13):
To the No.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
Three Mother Nations.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
A week off?
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Are you guys serious?
Speaker 2 (13:19):
You know what I did. I went to listen to the.
Speaker 9 (13:21):
Radio station whose sand flowers to know the people, and
I like them.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
They were for real.
Speaker 11 (13:27):
Okay, So I'm just gonna stay here today to hear
how people destroy you today because three weeks off, that's
not good.
Speaker 5 (13:37):
Goodbye, Wow, just a little vacation time. The JV Show
needed just a little bit of time off. It been
a long year and we just needed a couple of
days to ketch up on some sleep.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
At night the angry and he said he already.
Speaker 5 (13:49):
Jumped over and was listening to another show that sends
fake flowers during a fake bit. What I too was,
I was driving around some of the mornings of the
day off popped over there.
Speaker 12 (13:57):
If you get your ears checked, people, if you for
one moment, one middle school moment, believe that any piece
of that is even remotely true or real.
Speaker 5 (14:08):
I'm gonna set up a hearing tests today at City
Hall though at one pm for everyone because it's so bad.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
Who would answer their phone for a number they don't know?
Speaker 2 (14:14):
The Other thing we were talking about in New Year's Resolutions.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Good morning, Davy shows study said from Winner Creek.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
Oh my god, you guys are back. No regirts.
Speaker 11 (14:25):
So Matt, Daddy and I we adopted Gram's damped January.
But this time what we're going to do is going
to do damp Year and that it's going to be
our resolution. And also we're going to be working out
a lot bunch because we have a cruise coming up
in February, so prepared.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
Why is he always on a cruise?
Speaker 3 (14:48):
Said, Happy New Year? Said?
Speaker 5 (14:50):
He said, what about that for a resolution or just
just for January? Guys here with me on my damp
January journey that I do every year, Like are we
doing it?
Speaker 3 (14:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (15:00):
I think Selena already does it. Damn January for me
is just no drinking during week days.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Oh yeah, I don't try.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Niner games are exempt, and there.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
Are a few other exemptions, but for the most part,
no weekday drinks.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Uh joy, I can do that.
Speaker 9 (15:15):
Damn January.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
Yeah, yeah, I'm doing damn January for sright by the way. Yes,
we're back live.
Speaker 4 (15:20):
I'm Selena Groom and I'm Jess And you said you
have a nuts squirrel store.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
You guys.
Speaker 5 (15:25):
I know it's not squirrel Week twenty twenty six here
on the JV Show yet, but this one is the
best squirrel story of all time because last night I
took my dog Handbone, she's a Golden Retriever. I took
her out, uh one last time to go to the
bathroom before it's time to go to bed. And I
was trying to go to bed early last night because
it's gonna be tough to get back used to this
waking up early schedule.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
And I let her.
Speaker 5 (15:46):
Out to go to the bathroom and then she didn't
come back inside, and I couldn't see her out the
Oh my god, I don't want to go out there.
It was kind of rainy, and I don't want to
go outside and go find her. But normally she turns
around and comes right back. She's ready to go to bed,
and so I wal finally, I put my shoes on,
I go outside. She's standing next to my car in
the driveway and her she's like sniffing around and kind
of his tail's wagging, and I was like, this is
(16:08):
this is kind of strange, Like, what's she doing? She
never has any interest in my car? And then I thought, oh, no,
there might be something alive in there.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Oh no.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
I popped the hood of the car and the squirrel.
Speaker 5 (16:24):
A squirrel is sitting right there in the engine. He's
just sitting there like hello, and he's just, I mean,
practically excited to.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
See me, I think.
Speaker 5 (16:35):
And I figured, Okay, as I lift the hood up,
you know he's going to take off. No, no, no,
the squirrel just he just kind of curled up into
a corner in there. I was like, oh, this is
my house. Now, turn the light on my phone. I
start shining around in the engine. The nuts, you guys,
Oh my god. The nuts. So there's a couple of
(16:57):
big pecan trees next to our house, and this little
m effort decided to grab every single nut off that
tree and bring them. Yes, he did a lot of them,
and bring them right into the inside of my engine. There,
you guys, it's the winter. Yes, he was stacking up his.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Nuts and he got a knot. Yeah, that's what I said.
Speaker 5 (17:18):
A lot of them and he had him just stacked
up all corners of my engine, just piles of pecans,
you guys, just nuts everywhere. As far as I can see,
it's just nuts. He was swimming in nuts in there. Okay, now,
this is the last thing I want to deal with
right before one.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
I want to go to bed, but also I've got
to now drive.
Speaker 5 (17:38):
I guess I wasn't driving as much over the vacation
because this guy had time to set up an entire
squirrel encampment in there. I just didn't want to deal
with this right before I needed to go to bed.
And then now I'm wondering what else did he chew through?
And there's my car even gonna drive this morning?
Speaker 2 (17:53):
Oh yeah, I didn't think about that.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
So I did what every husband does. You ask your
wife for help. Somebody help me with this.
Speaker 5 (18:01):
It's there's nuts everywhere. So Kate comes down and I
was like, okay, you. She's like, where's the squirrel. I'm like,
he's right there. So I'm shining the light on the
squirrel and she's like, get out of there, squirrel, get
out of here. Like it doesn't work. I tried that.
He doesn't want to leave, So I'm like, well, I'm
gonna start taking all his nuts because I got I
(18:21):
first got to get rid of all his nuts out
of my car. So I start digging on one side,
the opposite side of the engine from him. I'm he's
he's stored nuts all over. So I'm scooping the nuts out.
I'm grabbing the nuts. I'm getting big handfuls of nuts.
The nuts just keep on coming, you guys, They just
there's so many. So I keep and I'm filling up
a bucket with nuts. There's that many nuts. I was
(18:42):
thinking about maybe I should keep on gifts cause I
did all the worst. Yeah, everyone loves pecans, They're great.
And then I was like, I need something. I need
something more to get the nuts out of here. So
I got the big shop vacuum out and I gave
that to Kate, and I was like, if you, Kate,
if you could just start sucking the nuts, that would
be great.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
Just suck up all.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
The nuts that many again he got.
Speaker 5 (19:02):
She started sucking the nuts up with the vacuum, and.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
The squirrel still didn't move.
Speaker 5 (19:07):
This thing's love he is. He was breathing pretty fast
because I think he's a little nervous at this point.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
There's two humans. Squirrel of heart, yes, and he's like,
you guys are stealing all my nuts.
Speaker 5 (19:17):
So Kate keeps going on sucking the nuts up with
the vacuum and they're just clunk clungk clunk clunk, you know,
down the cu cun just going and going. Finally, she
takes the part of the you know, the end of
the vacuum and like starts kind of going proaden near
the squirrel.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
At this point, I'm picturing you guys never seen Christmas vacation.
Speaker 5 (19:35):
But the squirrel, I'm thinking he's gonna pop up and
jump and like latch onto one of us, and it's
gonna be the scene.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
Yeah, he does. He does. He pops up.
Speaker 5 (19:42):
And like instead of going away from us, he like
starts to come towards us for a second and.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
There's a lot of screaming, mostly.
Speaker 5 (19:49):
By me and you know, and then he turned and
then dove down deeper into the engine somewhere. I don't
know where he went. I assume he jumped out the
bottom of the car. And then we spent the next
twenty minutes emptying his entire nut sack stash nutstash.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
Yes, got all the nuts.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
Out and Can you imagine if you had never found
the squirrely in there and all its nuts, and you
had driven to work this morning.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
With him in there, he would have got would have
brought you. I would have brought him into the parking
garage here at work.
Speaker 5 (20:19):
He would have still been in there, and I would
have heard all this clunking and thunking as all these
nuts come running ringing out of the bottom of my car.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
The entire drive nuts from NAPA.
Speaker 5 (20:28):
Yes, I would have left the nuts nut trail you
guys like he got a knot a couple of thousand.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Girl, have you even survived that? Or would he just
be like a barbecue squirrel? What the time you got here?
Speaker 5 (20:39):
I think he probably could have survived, But yeah, he
could have got it, would have gotten a little hot
under there.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Oh my god?
Speaker 8 (20:43):
Why am I so sad that the poor little squirrel
now has nothing for nuns in.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
The cold now shelter, don't make a home in my
cars storming all that hard work and now it's traumatized.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
Oh, very you'll never trust a human again. Yeah, oh god, I.
Speaker 5 (21:02):
Feel like we were relatively gentle when we handle this vacuum. Well,
that was the I didn't want to be grabbing them
with my hands. I don't know them like that.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
I would love to grab them with my hands, you do. Yeah,
a squirrel I've always wanted.
Speaker 4 (21:14):
Like we talk about this all We talk about squirrels
more than we should on the JV Show.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
But we all want a pet squirrel.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
Yeah, they're pretty cute.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
They're so cute.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
He was pretty cute.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
All right, Carstle story or now.
Speaker 4 (21:30):
Coming up next, it's today's hot is trending you guys?
Speaker 2 (21:33):
BTS.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
They're making a comeback, like soon those details coming up
the hottest thing.
Speaker 13 (21:39):
It's all the stuff you need to know, what's hot
in music, movies, shows and the most talked about stories
happening today in the bay.
Speaker 4 (21:48):
All right, Army BTS has announced their major comeback. So
you know how they had to go do uh South
Korea's mandatory military service.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
So they did that for a minute. After that, they
all collectively took a break.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
Many of them went off and did like some solo things.
But now twenty twenty six, this is their year. They've
reunited and they announced March twentie if they are dropping
their first album in six years.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
Last album came out in twenty twenty, but they are back.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
They're also teasing a world tour that is set to
kick off this year. At some point they said they're
gonna give more details. They's been that long. Yeah, they
did not go very fast.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
WHOA, that's cool. A lot of people are gonna be
really really excited. That's huge.
Speaker 3 (22:31):
It is.
Speaker 5 (22:32):
It is a big deal. I guess my question is
has their I don't know, like hause there are the
fans over it, not over it, but there are so
many other huge now K pop groups that have risen
up and sort of like filled that void and then
and and and then some there are so many now,
is their like fan base sort of fractured now? I
(22:55):
don't know if that's the right. I don't know how
to phrase that question. I my brain's not working here
on January fifth, But do you.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
Know what I mean? I know what you mean.
Speaker 5 (23:02):
But they were the only show in town, it felt
like for a whek, right, and now they're not.
Speaker 9 (23:06):
I don't think.
Speaker 8 (23:06):
I don't think that matters, especially because there were some
that had like there, like we heard of jim In
and we heard of Junk Cook and we did yeah
we did, right, joke, we did so I feel like
they've been they've still been there and time has just
gone by.
Speaker 4 (23:22):
So fast, waiting, just patiently waiting for their comeback. Got it,
And it's happening.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
March twentieth.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
In case you're just twin really quick, did you guys
hear about Tommy Lee Jones's daughter?
Speaker 3 (23:32):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (23:33):
Pretty crazy.
Speaker 4 (23:33):
Yeah, his daughter, Victoria, thirty four years old, was found
unresponsive New Year's Day. This is like almost three o'clock
in the morning here at the Fairmont in the city,
and they get there, they you know, assess the situation.
They pronounced her dead at the scene. It is a
suspected overdose. They haven't really come out yet with an
official cause of death.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
But yeah, pretty crazy that happened here.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
People did say they, and I don't know if this
is true, they saw her doing some drug prior to that.
But again I don't that that's not like from a
legitimate source.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
Right, but it sounded like that was. It sounds an
element to what happened. Just do you know who Tommy
Lee Jones is?
Speaker 9 (24:13):
Uh, he was with Pamela Anderson, different.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
Tommy Lee, but you would know who he was. Maybe,
I don't know if and then Victoria she was in
one tree hill. If anybody ever you know, watched that back.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
In the day, oh, I didn't know so that she had.
I did not know that.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
All right, Grammy, what do you have?
Speaker 5 (24:34):
All right to take a moment and say your goodbyes
to Sea Biscuit.
Speaker 9 (24:39):
Sea Biscuit.
Speaker 5 (24:40):
A Sea Biscuit was a family in Saratoga's beloved mini
horse that unfortunately killed by a mountain lion.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
Oh my god.
Speaker 5 (24:48):
Family reported him missing right before Christmas. A Sea Biscuit
weighed about two hundred pounds, and initially they thought he'd
been stolen because his little corral was all properly locked up.
All the gates were closed so he couldn't escaped and
just wandered out. But about a week later, the family
says they saw some vultures circling in the area. Their
daughter went to look down by a creek near their
(25:08):
house and that's where.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
She discovered, Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
Poor sea Biscuit. He had been mauled by a mountain line.
Speaker 5 (25:15):
There's been a lot of mountain lion sightings in the
Los Gatos area all the way up through New Year's Day,
and I'm assuming in days after a lot of residents
home cameras captured. You know, mountain lions could be the same.
Mountain lion could be one kind of cruising through some
populated areas. So if you were in these areas, make
sure your pets are locked up.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
But rip to Sea Biscuit.
Speaker 5 (25:38):
The family said they'd had Sea Biscuit for fourteen years
and they're shocked and saddened by this mountain lion attack.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
Do you guys understand the sea biscuit reference?
Speaker 2 (25:50):
No, are you gon it?
Speaker 7 (25:53):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (25:53):
Sea Biscuit was a very famous racehorse back in like
I don't know, the nineteen forties, sort of one of
the most famous racehorses of all time. There's a lot
of movies and things made about seabiscuits.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
That's why to say, yeah, that's so cute.
Speaker 3 (26:06):
Yeah, all right, if you see this sad.
Speaker 4 (26:08):
Story, all right, thank you Grammy. Coming up next here,
it's our what the Bleep Game where you can win
it ran you twenty twenty four edition.
Speaker 5 (26:16):

Speaker 2 (26:20):

Speaker 10 (27:23):

Speaker 3 (27:25):

Speaker 4 (27:27):
Just why did I like actively root like you'd like
rejoice when the Niners lose? Like it's not the other
way around, you know what I mean? Like you're not
celebrating the Raiders losing every week?
Speaker 3 (27:39):
No, because it's just expected.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Yeah, it's just normal, I guess.
Speaker 3 (27:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (27:42):
And then they beat the Chiefs backups yesterday. Yeah, good
for you guys. Finish the season with the win three
on the year, by the way, go back and podcast
this morning show because when we first signed on, we
have a lot of football bets and football related bets
to set on the show, so we sort of laid
out what's gonna happen been there, but Friday, I think
is when we.
Speaker 3 (28:02):

Mostly who was representing.
Speaker 2 (28:07):

Speaker 3 (28:14):
But otherwise, yeah, good luck.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
Yeah, can you say no if they pick you? Can
you be like no? Thanks?
Speaker 3 (28:19):
It has happened really sort of.
Speaker 5 (28:22):
There have been instances Eli Manning being one of them
where they're like, no, if you guys draft him, he's
not going to play for you, and blah blah blah,
and they've forced their way to get drafted.
Speaker 3 (28:31):

your guesses.
Speaker 9 (32:33):
My name is.
Speaker 17 (32:34):

word is alcohol.
Speaker 3 (32:41):
Jackson, what do you know about alcohol?
Speaker 17 (32:43):
Sun?
Speaker 5 (32:44):
That's a good guys. That was probably the most popular
guest this morning. Alcohol or drinks? Jess Your alcohol consumption
over the vacation kit?
Speaker 2 (32:52):
A bit of alcohol was consumed?
Speaker 5 (32:53):
Substantial, Selena, substantial consumption?
Speaker 2 (32:56):
Act surprisingly No?
Speaker 3 (32:58):
What yeah?
Speaker 2 (33:00):
Until not until this past Saturday?
Speaker 3 (33:03):
Then who are you?
Speaker 2 (33:04):
I made up for all day broke and.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
Nice.
Speaker 7 (33:09):
Hi.
Speaker 8 (33:09):
This is Adriana from San Jose and I think the
bleep that word is the Malie just had lots of
malice back in Salina.
Speaker 3 (33:17):
Have a great Monday.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
Bye.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
How many did you eat?
Speaker 9 (33:22):
I can't even count them?
Speaker 2 (33:24):
It was a lot, and it was like.
Speaker 3 (33:26):
Every day, Clina multiple. How was your Tamali consumption.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
More than alcohol? Probably so many?
Speaker 3 (33:36):
By weight?
Speaker 5 (33:37):
Yeah, alcohol and graham you I had zero. I would
have loved somebody had made me some.
Speaker 3 (33:45):
That would have been great.
Speaker 10 (33:47):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (33:47):
I'm sure it's already said, but I'm gonna.
Speaker 10 (33:49):
Go with egg dogs.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
What was your egg dog consumption?
Speaker 7 (33:53):
Like?
Speaker 2 (33:54):
Zero? Really?
Speaker 3 (33:55):
You didn't have any?
Speaker 7 (33:56):
Did you have?
Speaker 2 (33:57):
I had a little bit Christmas Eve, I had quite
a bit.
Speaker 5 (34:00):
I mean I make clip ones, I put bourbon in it,
you know, I make that bourbon nog and I sit
down there. You had one all it's like dessert, and
then you get a buzz going. Then you have another
and now I'm ten. Yeah, it's not good if you're
trying to be on a diet.
Speaker 10 (34:14):
Good morning, JV Show, Happy Monday.
Speaker 15 (34:17):
My name is Kayla from Livermore and my guess is coffee.
Speaker 10 (34:22):
You didn't expect to have that.
Speaker 4 (34:23):
Much coffee on vacation to keep you up to do
all your activities.
Speaker 10 (34:28):
Bye guy, Thank you.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
There it is one Kris Today's clip unbleeped.
Speaker 16 (34:33):
I didn't think I was gonna have so much coffee
during vacation, but it was almost every day. Because usually
I only drink it when I come to work because
it's free here and at home.
Speaker 4 (34:45):
It just doesn't come to my mind to be like,
let me pour myself a cup of coffee. But it
was every single day. So now I'm gonna cut myself back.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
Well, now you need it. I know what I'm app
You actually.
Speaker 5 (34:57):
Need to know of all the things that we should
probably cut back on from our time off, you know,
not coffee, the eggnog, the sweets, the alcohol.
Speaker 3 (35:05):
Coffee that's the least harmful of them.
Speaker 8 (35:07):
You've seen our teeth, you guys.
Speaker 3 (35:11):
I said that old break. I'm like, wow, we're on break.
Speaker 5 (35:13):
I'm gonna use some of these white strips in this
righting thing that I've got and I didn't do it once.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
Now l we're back here, I'll have to start the teeth.
Speaker 5 (35:21):
I have to start January first, twenty twenty seven. At
this point, keep on yellowing.
Speaker 3 (35:27):
All right, let's give some shout outs. Kline Livermore, the
very worst.
Speaker 5 (35:32):
The youngest lug of the twenty twenty six.
Speaker 3 (35:35):
The new year, a jug munk jumpy bequeathed to you.
Speaker 5 (35:38):
I don't know why I turned into like an old
time you know, yeah whatever, all right, she had the
very first correct answer this morning. If you didn't win
this morning, we're gonna play again tomorrow. Other shout outs
to give Daniel and San Francisco came with correct answer.
Speaker 3 (35:51):
But that was about it.
Speaker 5 (35:52):
Most people were guessing alcohol related things and rightly so
that was a good that was a great guest, But
that wasn't it.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
So tomorrow get what's a second chug? Mug of twenty
twenty six.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
The same time, you're on the.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
JV show, The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

I hope you had wonderful holidays.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
We were very missed on my drives. And by the way,
Bang bang, and how.
Speaker 17 (36:25):
Exciting that the Chiefs lost to the Raiders on mister
Swift's final game.
Speaker 2 (36:30):
I think that's wonderful.
Speaker 10 (36:32):
Anyways, have a happy new Year, or I guess it's
a Happy New Year by.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
Yeah, Happy, Happy New Year.
Speaker 5 (36:38):
Do you guys think it was mister Swift's final game?
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (36:42):
I think so you do. I think you want to
lock that into the prediction journal.
Speaker 2 (36:46):
Let's do it. I don't know if they know.
Speaker 5 (36:48):
I don't know if mister Swift aka Travis Kelce can
walk away from his career on a dismal Chief season
where they missed the playoffs and then lose in his
final game, loose to the Lowly Raiders. I don't think
he can end it on that note. I think he goes.
I think he goes one more.
Speaker 2 (37:06):
I'm still saying, yes, well, you have to stick to it.
Speaker 4 (37:08):
Now starts all right, let's go to the phones. Hi,
good morning, Hi, ty. So this is our first day back.
We've missed a lot. How is your guys' holidays? How
is your New Year?
Speaker 2 (37:21):
It was exciting?
Speaker 14 (37:22):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (37:22):
Well, god, I mean what made it exciting?
Speaker 2 (37:28):
Christmas and stranger things?
Speaker 5 (37:30):
Oh, don't spoil it, don't spoil it.
Speaker 3 (37:32):
I still have seasons two through five to one.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
Oh God, by the way, we're talking about stranger things
coming up and trending. I'm seven fifty five, but in
the meantime, Ariana and Amanda, you guys are going to
be playing our yep nope game on the line today.
Speaker 8 (37:46):
Yes, we have tickets for Angela Johnson Rays.
Speaker 2 (37:48):
Okay, thank you. Guys know how this works.
Speaker 4 (37:50):
But for those of you who are maybe new to
the JV Show, we are going to ask for trivia questions.
You guys just got to get three correct and if
you can do that, the tickets aren't yours.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
Okay, okay, we're so nerving, don't mean.
Speaker 1 (38:03):
Here we go.
Speaker 4 (38:03):
Question number one, Acorns are produced on what type of tree?
Speaker 2 (38:12):
A pine tree?
Speaker 3 (38:13):
Oh? No, those are pine cones. Yeah, a pine tree.
Speaker 4 (38:18):
Acorns come from oak trees, oak tree, those acorns?
Speaker 2 (38:26):
One? Okay, all right.
Speaker 5 (38:27):
Question number two, little bit of local geography, semi local.
Which California city is Furthest North, Stockton or Sacramento?
Speaker 2 (38:38):
Sacramento?
Speaker 4 (38:40):
Yeah, there it is there, it is all right, here's uh,
we're gonna say something green.
Speaker 2 (38:44):
Nope, okay, here we go.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
Question number three and soccer, how many yellow cards must
have player receive?
Speaker 2 (38:51):
Must have player received in order? Yeah? Can I just
start that whole sentence over?
Speaker 3 (38:54):
Sure?
Speaker 2 (38:55):
In soccer?
Speaker 4 (38:55):
How many yellow cards must have player receive in order
to be ejected from the game.
Speaker 5 (39:01):
Uh three, two, Yeah, you get that pesky second yellow card,
you're out of there. It turns into a red card,
you're out, all right? Question should know that she should
big soccer player.
Speaker 4 (39:19):
He's a big soccer player for Union City Premiere And.
Speaker 3 (39:24):
How did you guys miss that question? Yeah, I'm confused.
Speaker 2 (39:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 18 (39:27):
She gets a lot of yellow cards too.
Speaker 5 (39:28):
So interesting, all right, question number four, let's try to
finish strong hair.
Speaker 3 (39:33):
Question four.
Speaker 5 (39:34):
Finish Tony the Tiger's slogan for frosted Flakes Cereal.
Speaker 2 (39:39):
They're yeah, sorry we filed this one. I don't know
that one.
Speaker 3 (39:48):
They're great.
Speaker 2 (39:51):
Oh my god, it should have been sorry on it.
Speaker 3 (39:54):
I know they're great.
Speaker 5 (39:56):
That's what Tony the Tiger says about frosted Flake Cereal.
I don't want to sugar owed it like the cereal,
but you guys, it's just not good.
Speaker 2 (40:03):
Oh yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (40:08):
I got one correct. That was almost a holy horrible
trivia to start during I.
Speaker 4 (40:13):
Did not win these tickets to check out Angela Johnson
rays ding it.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
But thank you guys so much for playing. We hope
you at least had fun.
Speaker 4 (40:20):
Don't hang up I'm gonna put you on hold really quick, there, Graham.
Speaker 3 (40:24):
Do we have a couple of shout out? You know,
we do a couple of dms.
Speaker 7 (40:26):
Here.
Speaker 5 (40:27):
First one, Hey, Graham, wanted to give my son Juan
but Alasco aka ch huge birthday shout out. He turned

Hope you had a great day. The Far's a good point.
And one more here, Good morning Graham. Please wish Jordan
a happy lady birthday. He went from six.
Speaker 3 (40:59):
To seven yesterday.
Speaker 5 (41:01):
He is a rambunctious little ninja warrior who is kind
and loves to make people laugh. His brothers love playing
with him, and we all can't imagine life without this guy.
We love you, Jordan. Happy birthday, Love Mom. Yes, happy birthday.
That's far six to seven.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
Looking at head, Graham, you said you have a bit
of a six seven rant. You want to go on?
I do eight thirty five this morning, next thut.
Speaker 1 (41:24):
Today's hot is trending The JV Show on Wild ninety
four nine.
Speaker 2 (41:28):
Hi JV Show.
Speaker 8 (41:30):
I would like to wish my husband Jay a happy
birthday today.
Speaker 18 (41:35):
He's aging like fine wine and I'm loving.
Speaker 6 (41:38):
Taking a sip.
Speaker 19 (41:39):
We love you so much, baby, Daddy, Love Reese, Lily,
Micah and me.
Speaker 3 (41:44):
Bye Yes, happy birthday, Birthday Asian like fine wine.
Speaker 5 (41:49):
I'd like to take you sip the wine.
Speaker 3 (41:52):
You guys, I'm going to Dawls.
Speaker 5 (41:54):
I was drinking a lot over the break Goddess.
Speaker 3 (41:59):
It's all stuff you need to know.
Speaker 13 (42:01):
What was hot in music, movies, shows, and the most
talked about stories happening today in the base.
Speaker 4 (42:07):
So Netflix has announced one final project for Stranger Things. So,
after ten years, the Stranger Thing series came to an
end on New Years.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
I know it was so sad.
Speaker 4 (42:19):
I was one of those nerds watching it in theaters
New Year's Eve?
Speaker 2 (42:23):
Oh really yea in theaters?
Speaker 3 (42:24):
Yeah, I heard that they were gonna do that. What
was the crowd like? Was it pack?
Speaker 5 (42:29):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (42:30):
There were so many showings and I honestly wanted because
it didn't drop until five o'clock. That's when I dropped
on Netflix. That's when they were allowed to start showing
it in theaters as I wanted to be, like at
one of the earlier ones, it's tea Year's Eve, Like
no one wants to be there at like nine o'clock
at night, you know, But like they were, they were
sold out, like there.
Speaker 2 (42:45):
Was a lot of people.
Speaker 5 (42:47):
What do you think about that concept for like a
series finale like this. Do you think other streaming platforms
should do this and then put it in the theater?
Speaker 2 (42:56):
I think they should for something that's such a big
event like this. I mean, it only made sense. Yeah,
I think it is kind of It was really fun.
Speaker 5 (43:03):
I think it was kind of a cool idea. And
what was your takeaway? Of course?
Speaker 4 (43:08):
Yeah, I don't want to obviously, I don't want to
spoil it. Out of ten loved it, But I'm just
I'm still very confused. You know, my entire algorithm right
now is stranger thing because you read one theory when
about the ending, and now all I get is theories
and posts and stuff.
Speaker 2 (43:26):
Yeah, I've heard.
Speaker 9 (43:27):
Of mixed reviews. Some people say they love the ending,
some people will say they were.
Speaker 2 (43:32):
Maybe because it was a little unclear. We don't.
Speaker 4 (43:34):
We don't still really know exactly what happened, but that's
what the creators, I think wanted is for you know,
it's up for interpretation.
Speaker 5 (43:40):
And that goes with every series finale, for every show ever.
I feel like there's been very few universally that people
are like.
Speaker 3 (43:46):
Oh, that was just the way it should have ended.
Speaker 5 (43:49):
Yeah, there's always people like, what, No, they did that
way they're gonna end.
Speaker 2 (43:52):
It like that is going to be divided anyway.
Speaker 4 (43:55):
So for those of you who can't get enough of
Stranger Things, Netflix this morning just a documentary titled One
Last Adventure The Making of Stranger Things five and that
it's going to be out a week from today, so
January twelfth, that is dropping on the platform. And if
you haven't heard, we do have a couple of spinoffs
to look forward to. Stranger Things Tales from eighty five
is an animated series the part that takes place between
(44:18):
seasons two and three that's going to be out later
this year. And the Duffer brothers also did confirm they're
working on a live action spinoff that's going to take
place in a new Town New characters like clean Slate.
Speaker 3 (44:28):
Are you here for that? Like? Does that keep your
interest here?
Speaker 2 (44:32):
It does, I'm here for it.
Speaker 3 (44:34):
So you're excited about the spinoff?
Speaker 2 (44:35):
Yeah, I don't know if I could.
Speaker 4 (44:36):
An animated series, like, I'll give it a try, but
I just I don't know if I can get mine
that one.
Speaker 3 (44:40):
I'm going to pass on that one.
Speaker 5 (44:41):
I'm surprised that you because look, you're TV watching sometimes
like mine, where we're way behind on seeing all the
episodes of the series. Going into this finale, you had
seen every single episode Stranger Things.
Speaker 3 (44:52):
I didn't realize you were that die hard.
Speaker 4 (44:54):
Yeah, well you had a lot of time. I mean,
it's been True ten years.
Speaker 5 (44:57):
And I've had that same amount of time, and I've
been watch True seasons.
Speaker 4 (45:00):
I don't know, And yeah, it helps that my daughter's
also obsessed. So it's something that we would like do together.
You bond We bonded over. It's very cool, Grammy. What
do you have all right?
Speaker 5 (45:11):
In just over one hour, Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro set
to enter a New York courthouse to make his first
appearance since being captured in a US assault over the weekend.
A Maduro accused of numerous narco terrorism charges. A legend
he facilitated drug cartels to ship thousands of tons of
cocaine into the United States. Maduro could face life in
(45:32):
prison if convicted on all these charges. His wife also
expected to be a reigned in a peer in court
as well. Maduro's lawyers they're going to likely contest the
legality of his arrest. That was probably one of the
biggest takeaways as people have debated what we saw and
we don't. We are not a political show by any means.
Speaker 2 (45:51):
Was that allowed?
Speaker 5 (45:52):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (45:53):
Generally no.
Speaker 5 (45:54):
By generally mean definitely no. I followed the story very closely.
My parents I probably shared before, but they more or
less lived in Venezuela for about four or five years.
I've been there numerous times, so it's kind of like
I've always kept an eye on the situation in Venezuela
and Venezuela. I feel for the people of Venezuela because
of the situation there had just over the past several
(46:16):
years had just devolved so much. I mean, we had
close friends that we still keep in contact with. Their
takeaway from what happened was they were more or less
happy to see Maduro Go as there are a lot
of people in Venezuela are because he was an awful guy,
but they're very nervous about what happens next.
Speaker 3 (46:35):
And I think that's understandable.
Speaker 5 (46:38):
Our president said we're going to run that country, which
I don't really you know, there's a lot of game. Again,
we'll stay away from that. But just from a human
element of it, I don't know how. I have very
mixed feelings about this, and I share kind of their
sentiment on it. But I mean, what they've gone through
over the past few years is just you forget how
(46:59):
lucky we are here in the United States.
Speaker 3 (47:01):
I mean, we talked to him.
Speaker 5 (47:03):
I mean, this was I think I even told you
guys this story a few years ago there some of
our friends, our friends there talked about how they have
to wait in line at a gas station to get
gas for four days.
Speaker 3 (47:13):
Can you imagine, like we're annoyed if there's one person.
Speaker 5 (47:15):
At the pump in front of you, there was a
time where they had to sit and sit in their
cars and wait for four days to get a tank
of gas. Like you just forget how put things in
perspective a little bit? But yeah, I have a lot
of like I particularly have a lot of interest in this,
and I've been to Venezuela, like I said many times,
a beautiful country. I'm hoping for the best here, but
(47:37):
this is a very like you touched on interesting situation
regarding how this all plays out.
Speaker 2 (47:43):
Yes, very all right, Well, thank you Grammy.
Speaker 1 (47:46):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (47:48):
We were just talking about Stranger Things.
Speaker 20 (47:50):
What's some guys did your boy hand to Luna Spars
that Stranger Things finale went?
Speaker 14 (47:54):
It was all right, it could have been better, Like.
Speaker 20 (47:56):
They could have brought Eddie back and played Metallica for
Run the Bells Holes and he was all the kids
and all that stuff, and you know, it was all right,
but it could have been way better, especially if it
had a theater release. You know, one last thing before I.
Speaker 6 (48:09):
Go, right, I mean, I know we still suck, but
we beat the Chiefs.
Speaker 5 (48:15):
Let's go God, there's that to beat the Chiefs.
Speaker 3 (48:20):
The third win.
Speaker 4 (48:20):
You guys will never not bring that up, probably for
the rest of your lives. Right, Let's talk about the holidays, girl, Grammy.
We had this conversation every single year. It's always a
very interesting conversation. What did you get your wife, because
in previous years it's been batteries.
Speaker 3 (48:37):
Smostat supplies, rolling pine, robot vack.
Speaker 5 (48:44):
You know, there's been a lot of good stuff on there,
you guys, and I don't And every year, thank you
to all the listeners that come to my defense for
all those gifts. Because my gift giving strategy, and I've
laid this out before and guys you should too. I
just have a notes, you know, you know thing on
my phone and when my wife says she needs something
or wants something, I just listened and I write it
in there. And then birthdays come around or you know,
(49:05):
anniversaries or whatever, and there your.
Speaker 3 (49:07):
Gift list is right there.
Speaker 5 (49:08):
Now, look, you guys written me because a lot of
things my wife says she needs her things around the house.
Speaker 3 (49:12):
And then I give those his gifts.
Speaker 5 (49:13):
And I was like, you should just give those just
because you don't need to wait for a birthday to
give her a new spatula. Well, I'll have you know,
she uses that spatula like every day, and this year
the one stalking stuff or she wanted a new spatula,
a different one. She wanted like a square edge one,
and I had asked her I was like, hey, do
you want me to get that for your stocking? And
(49:34):
she had preemptively ordered it herself, so I didn't get
to put a spatula on her stock in she sort
of took the.
Speaker 3 (49:40):
Wind own of my sales.
Speaker 5 (49:41):
So this year, you guys know household why items were
given on Christmas. There weren't a lot of gifts given
on Christmas. But I'll tell you what I got her.
I got her perfume that she mentioned that was her apps.
She said it was her favorite one and she was
out of it and she worked for years and she
wanted it and I was listening, and so I got
that perfume.
Speaker 9 (49:59):
Is it.
Speaker 3 (50:03):
Risco Rodrigue? Something? I don't know. I can't remember what
it's called. Can I look it up?
Speaker 5 (50:08):
I can't remember that it's in a black bottle. I
don't know that's Is that a thing?
Speaker 2 (50:14):
I mean, I believe you, but I just.
Speaker 3 (50:21):
Can you google that? See? Yeah, that's a thing.
Speaker 2 (50:26):
Narcissisco Narcisco Rodriga. Yes, all right, you got her that.
Speaker 3 (50:30):
I swear that's her. Okay, Anyways, I got her that.
Speaker 5 (50:33):
I also got her, uh whatever that thing is for
rub your face, training your face? I remember jest, saying
that that was something she wanted this year, and I
had no idea that that was something my wife mentioned.
So I got her, I guess, a nice one of those.
Speaker 3 (50:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (50:52):
I don't think that they're different, but whatever, one of those.
And then some sort of special face oil from some
I don't know that she said she wanted that goes
with it, that you use with it.
Speaker 3 (51:03):
I don't.
Speaker 5 (51:03):
Again, I'm not familiar with what the hell of guasha is.
I still am not. But there, I got her that,
and then I also in her stocking because I couldn't
put this spatuel in there because she'd already got it herself.
Speaker 3 (51:16):
I got her.
Speaker 5 (51:16):
A she goes to get a spray tan from time
to time. I reloaded her, you know, I called the
place some butter, and then I had the kids make
a card for that.
Speaker 2 (51:27):
I love these gifts.
Speaker 4 (51:31):
It wasn't it wasn't a lot of stuff, but right.
Speaker 3 (51:36):
They are always thoughtful.
Speaker 2 (51:37):
But these are things for her to enjoy, right, it's cute.
It's for her.
Speaker 9 (51:41):
It's not for like the whole family to.
Speaker 2 (51:45):
Want to make a meal.
Speaker 5 (51:46):
Let's turn the tables around here, because Selena, well, first
of all, Selena, you just had a birthday on New
Year's Eve. Part that's the most important. So there was
some I want to know what you got for your birthday.
This is tough for whoever dates you and who's married
to you because you've got back to back events Christmas
and then Birthday.
Speaker 3 (52:06):
So let's uh on.
Speaker 5 (52:08):
Your high and mighty horse here, let's hear what you
got for Christmas and for your birthday.
Speaker 2 (52:13):
We don't do a ton of gifts.
Speaker 4 (52:16):
But for Christmas, my husband got me and my daughter
matching charms for our Pandora bracelets.
Speaker 3 (52:21):
Okay, so we got those ones.
Speaker 4 (52:23):
In they're like mom daughter ones and he knows that
I love to add to my bracelets. So that was
that was Christmas. Like I said, we don't do a
ton for Christmas, okay, but then for my birthday we didn't.
We went out to dinner the night before because New
Year's Eve everything's booked up, so I was like, let's
just celebrate that night. So yeah, he took us out
to our as a family and not just me and him,
but we went to our favorite, one of our favorite restaurants.
Speaker 2 (52:44):
We always go to Magiano's on Santana Ro.
Speaker 4 (52:46):
Because that was where we had one of our first
dates nice when we met a few years ago. So
we did dinner and then apparently he was trying to
plan like a little get together, but literally nobody could
come New Year's Eve because it was well when it
was storming, so a lot of people didn't want to
come from out of town and other people had plans
the like, sorry, can't make it.
Speaker 3 (53:06):
He's like, but I didn't get my Uh just did
you get a text about for the gathering?
Speaker 4 (53:12):
Because I didn't make the cut for the guest list.
Speaker 2 (53:16):
I would have come.
Speaker 4 (53:19):
We didn't do anything on New Year's Eve, but he
did surprise me with a spa day first for this
past Saturday. So we went together for a couple's like
hot tub and then couple's massage and that was nice,
a two hour massage.
Speaker 3 (53:39):
Don't they run out of places to rub?
Speaker 12 (53:41):
Right?
Speaker 10 (53:42):
No?
Speaker 2 (53:42):
It felt so good.
Speaker 9 (53:44):
Were you sore the next day?
Speaker 3 (53:45):
No?
Speaker 2 (53:45):
It wasn't like one of those hard aggressive ones. I
like those. I don't. I don't like that. So we
did just a lot of soft Yeah.
Speaker 3 (53:53):
Interesting.
Speaker 4 (53:54):
My favorite part was the head Oh so too?
Speaker 5 (54:00):
U is it the same person that's having to rub
you for two straight hours? And they like sub somebody
else in when their hands get tired, it's the same person.
Speaker 3 (54:07):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (54:07):
So you like really get to know them, like all
the hair on their knuckles and everything like starts to
flake off on.
Speaker 2 (54:13):
I did for a little bit.
Speaker 4 (54:14):
I did for a little bit, and I didn't even
realize I did until I had like jolted awake. But
my husband said, I I was snoring a little bit.
Speaker 3 (54:21):
I was so nervous.
Speaker 9 (54:22):
I was so embarrassed.
Speaker 5 (54:24):
Do you think the massage therapist is offended when people
fall asleep like wow, or that they're like, oh, I'm
doing such great work.
Speaker 2 (54:32):
Look, I think it's a complimentse Okay, they definitely.
Speaker 3 (54:35):
Know I've never had a massage.
Speaker 4 (54:36):
So we do the massage, and then we and then
my sister was there watching the kids while we were
when we were out doing that get back home. And
then they had surprised me with like a little get
together with you know, some family and a couple of
friends there.
Speaker 3 (54:49):
I didn't.
Speaker 2 (54:51):
I guess you guys didn't make the cut for the guests.
Speaker 3 (54:54):
Yeah, I mean, yeah, that's what we did. It's probably
problems with the wife mouse.
Speaker 8 (54:58):
So what'd you say that the gifts this year were
better than him giving you money last year.
Speaker 5 (55:04):
Thank you for asking this, because that was about to
ask the same thing.
Speaker 4 (55:07):
Yeah, oh yeah, because even though like it obviously didn't
cost as much as all the money he gave me
last year, it was something that he took the time
to go out and and get. And he did the
same thing.
Speaker 2 (55:18):
For my daughter too.
Speaker 5 (55:18):
So yeah, And do you think it was because of
the feedback? Was there any feedback given from last year?
Or did he hear you know me, because I had
to roast him a little bit because you guys roast my.
Speaker 3 (55:28):
Gift giving and last year all you got was an.
Speaker 5 (55:30):
Envelope full of money, which, look, we all like money,
but that wasn't the most thoughtful husband gift in the world.
Speaker 2 (55:34):
I don't know if he's hurt any of the feedback.
Speaker 5 (55:36):
Okay, so you think this year he just sure, no
prompting and he was just like, I got to do
better than last.
Speaker 2 (55:41):
Year, I think.
Speaker 3 (55:42):
So okay, good for.
Speaker 2 (55:43):
Agent, good for him and then Jess, So for me.
Speaker 8 (55:46):
We decided this year, me and my fiance Rubin, that
we weren't going.
Speaker 9 (55:49):
To do gifts because.
Speaker 8 (55:52):
I feel like it gets so stressful during the holiday.
So we were like, instead, why don't we turn it
into like an activity and we just go shopping together, Like,
we'll still buy each other the things that we want.
Speaker 9 (56:01):
But it'll be a little bit more intentional.
Speaker 8 (56:03):
Because again, like I need to stop filling up my
house with just a bunch of random things that I
don't need.
Speaker 2 (56:07):
So that's all we did.
Speaker 9 (56:09):
So we ended up going.
Speaker 3 (56:10):
Shopping to got your cat and new collar.
Speaker 8 (56:14):
Like, we got like some knee shoes, like new clothes,
stuff like that. I'm still not done with because we
gave each other a budget, so I'm still not done
with my budget because again, I'm trying to be intentional,
so I'm like, what do I really want?
Speaker 7 (56:24):
We love.
Speaker 9 (56:27):
Two hundred?
Speaker 4 (56:28):
Okay, yeah, it wasn't anything like crazy crazy.
Speaker 3 (56:31):
That's about right for Christmas?
Speaker 9 (56:33):
Right, yeah, I think so. But he did still surprise
me with two I know.
Speaker 8 (56:37):
You guys are gonna make fun of me for this boat,
anyone care because I was so happy two new stuffed animals.
Speaker 4 (56:42):
Oh my god, and they're on your bed right now?
Speaker 2 (56:46):
Do you see what there?
Speaker 9 (56:47):
They are?
Speaker 5 (56:49):
Okay, So I wish people listening could see the look
on Selena's face and my face right now.
Speaker 9 (56:55):
It was sweet because.
Speaker 4 (56:59):
Stuff one but two listen for a whole We've been
dating for five years.
Speaker 8 (57:04):
Now, we've been together for five years and this is
the first time that he's gotten me stuffed animals, so
it was very special for me. So uh, he got
me the insight out character Sadness, which I and I
dressed up as for Halloween. And he got me another
one of the Valkyrie's mascot, Violet, because you guys know.
Speaker 2 (57:23):
I love her. I love Violet.
Speaker 3 (57:24):
She. I don't want to rip on the Valkyries, but.
Speaker 5 (57:27):
Suena, your I just feel you run down to the
living room on Christmas morning and see what your man
got you. And then you got you two stuffed animals,
one from a major motion picture.
Speaker 9 (57:38):
I love them.
Speaker 8 (57:39):
I love them because again, again, were we weren't doing
gifts at all, and that was so special for him
to even especially because I know I get made fun
of it, so you would, so you would think that
he'd be like, I don't want her to get made
fun of, or like I don't but.
Speaker 2 (57:53):
He wants you to.
Speaker 3 (57:54):
Yeah, you didn't have to mention it.
Speaker 9 (57:56):
But you know what, I still want to share. I
still want to share it.
Speaker 3 (57:58):
I appreciate you but I would open that.
Speaker 2 (58:01):
I've been like, what am I supposed to do with this?
Speaker 3 (58:04):
There are a piece of jewelry wrapped around the neck
of the new things.
Speaker 4 (58:06):
I have to like take the stuffing out of the inside,
and they like diamond there.
Speaker 9 (58:10):
So are you kidding me? I was so happy?
Speaker 2 (58:12):
Where are they now?
Speaker 7 (58:13):
Well?
Speaker 9 (58:13):
I so haven't unpacked them because I just got home yesterday.
Speaker 5 (58:16):
So there's a will live on your bed next to
your SpongeBob, next.
Speaker 2 (58:20):
To my SpongeBob.
Speaker 8 (58:21):
So, oh my god, my collection is growing anxiety.
Speaker 3 (58:24):
Just thinking about it was.
Speaker 2 (58:28):
Like its tall room. But it's Jess.
Speaker 3 (58:31):
There's Jess thrown woman.
Speaker 1 (58:35):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four.
Speaker 7 (58:38):
Nine JV Show, what's going on this? I either got ready? No.
First of all, welcome back, Happy holidays, Happy New Year's.
I'm glad y'all are back. I hope you all enjoyed
your very well deserved break over the holidays. Listening to
the best us while you were gone was great. Yeah. No,
(59:03):
welcome back, love y'all. Bang bang, thank you.
Speaker 3 (59:07):
Bang bang.
Speaker 4 (59:10):
Yes the JV Show, we are back live. I'm Selena.
Speaker 2 (59:14):
Uh we got our first.
Speaker 3 (59:17):
Complaint, the first complaint?
Speaker 5 (59:20):
Yeah, oh no, here Why are you letting people go
on your show and do spoilers for Stranger Things? Care
to address that, Selena, We I think we played a
talk back from our buddy Andy Luna a little bit ago.
Speaker 3 (59:33):
We mentioned that he thought the Stranger.
Speaker 5 (59:36):
Things finale was just okay, and he said a couple
of things about it, but I'm not up to speed.
Speaker 3 (59:42):
Was did he spoil something?
Speaker 2 (59:43):
I think anything he said spoiled anything. I'm actually really
confused by that complaint.
Speaker 5 (59:47):
You are Stranger Things experts, Yes, and nothing.
Speaker 4 (59:52):
He did say, Oh they you know, they could have
brought back so and so and did and did this,
But that's not spoiling anything.
Speaker 2 (59:59):
The character he said that is from a previous season.
Speaker 5 (01:00:02):
But maybe people thought maybe that person was going to
come back and then he spoiled it.
Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
Oh he's dead, so now.
Speaker 5 (01:00:09):
We know she has spoiled it again.
Speaker 2 (01:00:14):
No, that's from my previous season.
Speaker 5 (01:00:16):
Seen her, right, And now I know that this one
person who died in a previous season will not be
back in the finale.
Speaker 2 (01:00:23):
He doesn't spoil anything they.
Speaker 3 (01:00:25):
Have they did they bring back anybody else that was dead?
Speaker 7 (01:00:29):
Or is that?
Speaker 1 (01:00:30):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (01:00:31):
Like that be out of out of character to bring
somebody back that had already died, because now that you've
spoiled it really for everybody.
Speaker 4 (01:00:38):
Usually how it goes like, if somebody dies, then they're
usually done with the show.
Speaker 5 (01:00:43):
That's what I thought, But I'm not again, I've only
watched seasons one in two, but the first complaints of
twenty twenty six.
Speaker 4 (01:00:49):
Yes, all right, really quick, this new kind of disturbing
way people are getting bbls.
Speaker 2 (01:00:56):
Okay, they're getting their bbls with donor fat from dead.
Speaker 3 (01:01:05):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:01:07):
Yes, doctors say, there's some people they want to, you know,
get a BBO, but they don't have because it's a
fat transfer, that's what it is. But there's a lot
of people that don't have enough fat on their bodies
to take from you know.
Speaker 5 (01:01:21):
The rest of us donate some like, hey, I've got
I've got a few extra pounds from the holidays.
Speaker 3 (01:01:26):
Can I donate that to somebody's BBL.
Speaker 2 (01:01:28):
I guess you can.
Speaker 4 (01:01:29):
But to be a fat pass away and they are
so they can like just harvest fat from them, from them,
and then they put it through this multi stef cleansing
and sure they do purification process. Allegedly, they inject it
into you know, the next person.
Speaker 8 (01:01:51):
I don't know how I feel about this because I'm
a donor. Take my organs, you know, save a life exactly.
Speaker 4 (01:01:57):
But you don't want to be you don't want to
contribute to somebody's be I mean, I guess, like, you know,
if a big booty is what you want, like if
I'm able to help, then I guess.
Speaker 9 (01:02:07):
But like, I don't know, it just feels wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:02:10):
It just feels weird.
Speaker 3 (01:02:11):
Can't there be living?
Speaker 5 (01:02:13):
I'm sure there are a lot of people that be like, Okay, yeah,
come take some of that out of me. If that
person wants it, they you know, have to pay for
it or whatever. But some people would like a little
LiPo or whatever and take that and send it into
somebody else.
Speaker 3 (01:02:25):
Oh well, you got to pay for my light boat.
Speaker 4 (01:02:27):
I wonder if they do do that? People get LiPo
every day? And what are they doing with that? Like,
why can't they just use.
Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
That one cooking oils and sprays with it? I think,
isn't that what Crisco is? Never stop? That's lard? Okay,
from animals.
Speaker 2 (01:02:42):
Yeah, that's it, that's fine, But not from people.
Speaker 5 (01:02:44):
Sure, keep telling yourself that it's so gross. Does does
your does the fat need to be alive? Is fat alive?
Speaker 1 (01:02:54):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (01:02:55):
It's not?
Speaker 2 (01:02:55):
Yeah, but I feel like if they get it the
same thing with like organs, you get it when it's.
Speaker 5 (01:02:59):
Early enough, so they're like, there's somebody there that like
races in, gets the fat out, puts it in a cooler,
helicopters it into somebody's BBL.
Speaker 3 (01:03:07):
But it's fat. It's not living. It's fat.
Speaker 4 (01:03:09):
Oh yeah, so maybe yeah, maybe they got to throw
it in a cooler. Yeah, and then until somebody needs it.
Speaker 2 (01:03:16):
I don't know. The whole thing just bothers me just
a little.
Speaker 5 (01:03:18):
And then you guys would believe let's just say that
you received some a transfer of that. Do you believe
that there're some sort of spirit attached? Yeah, to that,
and then your butt is now haunted.
Speaker 4 (01:03:30):
Yeah, because you're gonna start turning into that person, slowly
but surely, you take on the characteristic that person is
probably a psycho who knows, and then now it's you.
Speaker 9 (01:03:39):
It gets transferred into your body.
Speaker 5 (01:03:41):
Yeah, literally, and like you're just like t working uncontrollably,
like I can't step.
Speaker 3 (01:03:45):
My butt is haunted. You guys, that would be funny.
Speaker 4 (01:03:49):
All right, Next on the JV Show, Graham's first rant
of twenty twenty six, just a little one has to
do with can we say what it.
Speaker 12 (01:03:58):
Has to do with?
Speaker 7 (01:03:59):
Six?
Speaker 3 (01:03:59):
Seven?
Speaker 2 (01:03:59):
All right?
Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
Oh god, that's next The JV Show on Wild ninety
four nine.
Speaker 9 (01:04:05):
Good mon JV Show recaw from San Jose.
Speaker 2 (01:04:10):
Happy first Monday of twenty twenty six. I hope you
guys had a great holiday.
Speaker 3 (01:04:17):
But it's so great to hear your guys' voice back.
Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
On the radio.
Speaker 7 (01:04:22):
It was not fun listening to reruns of you guys.
Speaker 2 (01:04:26):
But glad you guys are back. Hope you guys have
a great week. Bye bye, thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
Yes, thank you. Raquel always so positive.
Speaker 5 (01:04:34):
But do we mark that down as the second complaint
of twenty twenty six because she said it's not fun listening.
Speaker 3 (01:04:39):
To reruns of you Guys.
Speaker 2 (01:04:41):
So that was a complaint, real little complaining.
Speaker 3 (01:04:43):
Yeah, yeah, second complaint of twenty twenty six.
Speaker 5 (01:04:46):
Go back and podcast the show if you missed the
first one.
Speaker 3 (01:04:49):
It came in a little bit, came a little bit ago.
Speaker 2 (01:04:51):
I hope that's the last of it.
Speaker 3 (01:04:52):
And now, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:04:53):
Graham's first rant of twenty twenty six, Just.
Speaker 5 (01:04:56):
A little bit of a rant, you guys, but something
that was building in of me all of our vacation
time off, because look, we got together with a lot
of family over the holidays. My kids are six and eight,
and they're still on kind of the younger, but they
were hanging out with a lot of their cousins who
are a little bit older, eleven, twelve years old, stuff
(01:05:17):
like that. And I got, I just got a rant
about the six seven six seven can twenty twenty six.
We're starting now, be when we are done with this,
because to tell you that my kids the most excited
I saw them, you know, and I'm I'm you know,
(01:05:37):
counting the time that they were unwrapping gifts on Christmas
Day and doing all sorts of fun stuff. The most
excited that I see them just light up it with
sheer joy was when we were playing war and cards
and we would get a six and a seven that
would face each other six.
Speaker 3 (01:05:55):
It was as if Selenna, you had won the lottery.
Speaker 5 (01:05:58):
A picture reaction that the excitement level in my household
when any sort of a six or a seven pops
up at all and six seven and can I just say,
and I don't want to sound like the old guy
get off my lawn, and your our slang was better
than yours.
Speaker 3 (01:06:11):
Whatever this is not. This is the dumbest thing ever.
Speaker 5 (01:06:15):
It's gotten, it's run its course, it's no longer the
novelty has worn off.
Speaker 3 (01:06:20):
Can we all just drop it and get rid of it.
Speaker 5 (01:06:23):
It's stupid, it was stupid to be but whatever it had,
we had a little fun with it.
Speaker 3 (01:06:28):
Can we all drop it now? I took my son.
Speaker 5 (01:06:30):
He's doing like a basketball clinic thing, you know, and
there's hundreds of kids there and they all got to
pick their own jersey number. And the amount of sixty
sevens that are out there in the court, these just
it looks and these are these are third grade and under,
and the amount of sixty sevens that are out running
around on there, I just wanted to slap every single
one of them, like, can we just be done with it?
Speaker 3 (01:06:51):
It's like the amount of it that the.
Speaker 5 (01:06:55):
Amount of six seven that I had to take over
the break was too much. I'm sick of it. I'm
done with it. It's twenty twenty six, not six seven.
Twenty twenty six, twenty twenty seven, yeah, six seven, I'm
done with it. Can we stop searching for a six
seven and everything.
Speaker 4 (01:07:10):
In our life I've done with it too, But it's
already It's one of those things where it's like it's
already happened and it's here now.
Speaker 9 (01:07:17):
Well, I embrace now.
Speaker 2 (01:07:17):
Whenever a six seven comes.
Speaker 4 (01:07:18):
Up, me and my daughter do like a little look
at each other like flight giggle like we don't yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:07:23):
I know, but why I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:07:24):
It's run, it works, We're all doing it, but it's yeah.
But by the time they we're all doing it the
older generator. That means it should for sure be done
with the younger generation, except that it's not.
Speaker 3 (01:07:35):
It's still here everything.
Speaker 5 (01:07:37):
And guess what, guys, there are a lot of six
and sevens in the world around us because they're just
numbers that are very incredibly common.
Speaker 3 (01:07:44):
You see them all the time.
Speaker 5 (01:07:45):
Anytime a football player on TV, Oh, that guy has
a six and there's a seven, I have to hear
about it. It's talk to me about something that's actually funny,
or actually cool or actually matters.
Speaker 8 (01:07:57):
That's probably what older people felt like when you growing up,
had your own things that you were saying.
Speaker 5 (01:08:02):
I've examined it from that angle, and I agree there
is an element of that, as there is. Every generation
thinks the generation aftter comes after them. Music is worse,
their slang is worse or whatever. Yeah, but on this
particular I'll let you have all the other slang words,
but on this particular one, all of the previous generations
are right.
Speaker 2 (01:08:23):
Yes it doesn't, but it does, you know, not really.
Speaker 3 (01:08:26):
But it doesn't.
Speaker 2 (01:08:27):
But it does.
Speaker 8 (01:08:27):
Because like if somebody doesn't mean, well, it doesn't mean anything,
but like it the moment, it's the moment. It's that's
what it is. It's like, I get that it's annoying.
I just don't think I hear it as much as
you guys, because I don't have.
Speaker 5 (01:08:38):
Oh my god, that's all that was. That was ninety
percent of the conversation. The entire time we were off.
I couldn't wait to get back here so I could
one rant about this, but to talk about something else
that didn't think there's just not the numbers six and seven.
And you know how often when you are playing the
game War that a six and a seven will get down.
Speaker 3 (01:08:57):
It happens all the time.
Speaker 5 (01:09:00):
But the excitement surrounding it, you guys, oh my god,
you would think is Christmas morning every day.
Speaker 9 (01:09:04):
Join in, Graham, A part of it is not happening.
Speaker 3 (01:09:08):
No, I'm out. I just I tried. I joined in
for a while. I'm done. Can we all be done?
We're done collectively.
Speaker 4 (01:09:14):
We are gonna not talk about six seven. Next, we're
gonna get to today's hot.
Speaker 2 (01:09:17):
Frending. We're gonna get today's hot.
Speaker 4 (01:09:19):
Is trying to remember that rumor that we've been kind
of following that Timothy shallow May is actually a rapper
named a.
Speaker 2 (01:09:26):
Did you guys see the update from over the holiday break?
Speaker 3 (01:09:29):
So a little bit of it.
Speaker 2 (01:09:30):
We have an update and I'm gonna share it with you.
Speaker 1 (01:09:33):
Coming up next The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 4 (01:09:36):
Before we get to today's hot is trendy and Gram
you were just ranting about how we need to be
done with six seven.
Speaker 3 (01:09:40):
Yeah, it's done.
Speaker 2 (01:09:41):
Let's give it up. Welcome back, JAVY Show.
Speaker 17 (01:09:45):
It's Julie from Valley Springs.
Speaker 20 (01:09:46):
Graham.
Speaker 17 (01:09:47):
I'm so with you about the six to seventh thing.
I can't stand it. I squashed it right away. My
daughter doesn't even watch YouTube or TikTok or anything. But
when I when I coach soccer, I mean those kids
run to the defensive base six seven and they stop
it right away. Hersh just said why, and then I
just said, run to the fence.
Speaker 3 (01:10:05):
I don't want to hear it.
Speaker 7 (01:10:06):
That's it, I am.
Speaker 13 (01:10:07):
That's all you gotta do.
Speaker 17 (01:10:08):
Run to the fence.
Speaker 10 (01:10:09):
Have great day, guys.
Speaker 3 (01:10:11):
I'm definitely gonna do that.
Speaker 5 (01:10:12):
When I coached my son's baseball team upcoming, I'll probably
send the kids, I don't know, maybe six or seven
laps each time.
Speaker 3 (01:10:20):
It got me again.
Speaker 13 (01:10:24):
The hottest It's all the stuff you need to know,
what's hot in music, movies, shows, and the most talked
about stories happening today in the Bay.
Speaker 4 (01:10:35):
So Travis Barker got his daughter Alabama lingerie for Christmas.
Speaker 18 (01:10:41):
So Alabama, she was doing she was doing a Christmas
hall and one of the first things she says is, okay,
so my dad went a little crazy agent provocats for
which apparently is some expensive lingerie place.
Speaker 2 (01:10:56):
And then.
Speaker 4 (01:10:59):
And then she needs to pull out all of these
super sexy corsets, and oh my god, the backlash like
why is your dad so creepy?
Speaker 2 (01:11:09):
Like this is just inappropriate.
Speaker 4 (01:11:11):
Here's Alabama's follow up video defending the lingerie gifts.
Speaker 15 (01:11:15):
Why they are you guys, trying to make this lingerie
thing a thing. Courtney picked out the lingerie. You think
my dad's like, oh, I'm gonna go pick up my
daughter Landerette. No, it was on my Christmas list and
he wanted to make it happen for me, so he
let Courtney go.
Speaker 2 (01:11:27):
Pick out the lingerie.
Speaker 15 (01:11:28):
God forbid of girl want to cute panties and bras, Like, literally,
leave me alone. I'm literally never going to do another
Christmas Hall.
Speaker 2 (01:11:36):
I hate you guys. I hate you guys. I don't
know the dynamic between them. It's like always been weird.
Speaker 4 (01:11:41):
Like we always hear about, Oh, Travis Barker like liking
his daughter's thirst traps on Instagram, but that was like,
it's just kind of creepy.
Speaker 5 (01:11:48):
And now this, when I saw this headline, I thought
it was a repeat story because you're right, we've had
there's been so many other headlines about borderline creepy daughter.
Speaker 4 (01:11:58):
Yeah heard that maybe Corney picked out the things, but
even for her dad to be like, this is what
I want her to have from agent promot, go buy
her things that she's got to look grat in.
Speaker 5 (01:12:10):
Make sure my daughter gets as many bras and panties
as she wants for Christmas.
Speaker 8 (01:12:16):
There, But does it make it any better that it
was on her Christmas list and they have enough money
to be like, yeah, just get everything, get everything on
her list?
Speaker 2 (01:12:23):
Sure?
Speaker 9 (01:12:24):
Why not?
Speaker 5 (01:12:24):
I don't think you got bras and underwear on your
Christmas list from mommy and daddy, right.
Speaker 4 (01:12:29):
Because even if no, that's that's what I'm saying. It
could be on her Christmas list, but it I don't
know it'd be.
Speaker 9 (01:12:36):
It's weird.
Speaker 4 (01:12:36):
It weird me out of my dad was like, out
of everything you had on your list, this is what
I want you to have.
Speaker 5 (01:12:41):
Like even I think if your mom got it for
you and your opening presents in front of the family
on Christmas Day and you're lifting up these like skimpy
you know, thongs and things things more than you.
Speaker 3 (01:12:51):
This is just what I wanted. I can't wait to
wear these my boyfriend, Like I just it seems uncomfortable.
Speaker 5 (01:12:57):
Also, she's rich, Go buy things yourself and put other more.
I don't know other things on your Christmas list that
you want to actually open with your parents in the room.
Speaker 3 (01:13:07):
Yeah, it's weird.
Speaker 4 (01:13:11):
Now let's talk about Timothy Shallow may He and Kylie
Rat the Critics Choice Awards last night. He won Best
Actor for his role in Marty Supreme. But who cares
about that? I have an update about whether or not
he is sd kid now, in case you haven't been
following this, people online have been convinced that sd Kidd,
who was a rapper out of the UK, is Timothy
shallow May in disguise. And if you feel like going
(01:13:33):
down the rabbit hole at some other time, the evidence
is pretty convincing.
Speaker 2 (01:13:37):
You can go ahead and look that up. Well, while
we were on vacation, Timothy dropped a music video with
SD kid. So Timmy, who used to rap when he
was younger, jumped on his four raws remix.
Speaker 3 (01:13:49):
Oh, but does this mean he's.
Speaker 2 (01:13:50):
Not SD kid.
Speaker 4 (01:13:53):
SD kid is in the video with him, but st
kid still has a face covering.
Speaker 3 (01:13:56):
That could be anybody, yea body double, That's what.
Speaker 4 (01:13:59):
I'm It could be anybody as SD kid, and then
Timothy shallow May is obviously himself because it can't be
both at the same time.
Speaker 9 (01:14:05):
Can you see asd kids eyes in the music video?
Speaker 7 (01:14:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:14:08):
See I need a side by side of the eyes. Yes,
we did like do a deep dog bile the eyebrowns.
Speaker 2 (01:14:13):
I guess not good enough in the video because they're
like moving around and stuff like that.
Speaker 4 (01:14:17):
But you can just get somebody with similar eyes, you know,
to play him, so Timmy can be himself for this
one time.
Speaker 3 (01:14:23):
I don't know, Well, what do you think? I mean,
what's your what's your theory?
Speaker 5 (01:14:26):
Because I thought we originally thought, yes, it's totally im
and then we thought, no, it's not. Are we back
that it still could be or not.
Speaker 4 (01:14:33):
I think it's an interesting theory and I still want
to run with it, but I don't. I don't think
it's him.
Speaker 2 (01:14:38):
Graham. Do you want to throw something into that.
Speaker 3 (01:14:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:14:39):
Today is Black Monday, the monday after the end of
the regular season.
Speaker 3 (01:14:43):
In the NFL.
Speaker 5 (01:14:44):
It's called black Monday because today's the day that all
the underperforming coaches get fired. The Falcons actually said hold
my beard. They didn't even want to wait for Monday.
Last night they fired their head coach Rahie Morris and
their GM But today the Cleveland Browns have already announced
that they're firing their head coach Kevin Stefanski after the
Browns went five to twelve this season. That was disappointing.
He was the head coach there for the past six seasons.
(01:15:06):
But the biggest firing news so far, particularly for Bay
Area football fans, The Raiders just announced they're firing their
head coach Pete Carroll. This was his first season with
the team. He led the Raiders to a dismal three
and fourteen season. It was awful, it was bad. Am
I surprised by his firing? No, not really, but also
(01:15:27):
how many head coaches have the Raiders gone through in
the last I think.
Speaker 3 (01:15:31):
That's three and three years. Maybe someone might have to
look that up.
Speaker 5 (01:15:34):
I feel like they are currently paying multiple head coaches
that are not currently employed, Pete Carroll now being one
of them, because he has two years left on his
contract and they don't just tear those up, so they'll
be paying him and the guy before him, and I
think the guy before him is probably still making some money.
So Raiders will be on the hunt for a new
(01:15:55):
head coach this offseason.
Speaker 8 (01:15:56):
In the past five years, they've had four primary head coach.
Speaker 2 (01:16:00):
There you go. Interesting, all right? Well, thank you, Grammy.
Speaker 1 (01:16:06):

Speaker 5 (01:16:22):
Any of those earthquakes?
Speaker 10 (01:16:24):
Okay, bye bye.
Speaker 3 (01:16:26):
Wait, that's a good question.
Speaker 5 (01:16:27):
There was a lot of seismic activity over the past
a few weeks, a lot of shaking, particularly in the
East Bay. Most event was right right before we left
to go out on vacation. But in the segment that
we like to do a new segment here on the
JV Show, we like to ask, did Selena feel it?
I know, any shaking?
Speaker 2 (01:16:43):
You not while we were out? Okay, No, I didn't
even know that there were more earthquakes.
Speaker 3 (01:16:48):
I wasn't paying attention.
Speaker 2 (01:16:49):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:16:50):
I kind of unplugged a bit.
Speaker 2 (01:16:52):
Yeah, I think we were out three weeks, not too
but who cares.
Speaker 3 (01:16:56):
No, I think it was like two and some change.
Speaker 19 (01:16:58):
Yeah, like money JV Show. Welcome back, Welcome back, Welcome beck.

I want to like call and leave a talk back,

Speaker 4 (01:18:03):
We each brought a photo from over the break while
we were out. I told you guys, earlier, how New
Year's Eve. I go to the movie theater with my
daughter and we watched The Stranger Things finale. I don't
know if they so my photo was us in the
concessions line, longest line ever because I don't know if
they did this at every theater. But our ticket, like
each ticket came with a twenty dollars concession.
Speaker 2 (01:18:27):
Oh so you got credit. Yeah, we're twenty bucks.
Speaker 5 (01:18:31):
Worths of popcorn person or person.
Speaker 4 (01:18:36):
Yeah, every ticket twenty dollars free for the concession.
Speaker 9 (01:18:39):
That's a good incentive.
Speaker 4 (01:18:40):
Yeah, and I had already snuck in a bunch of
stuff anyway, so we just used the twenty dollars.
Speaker 5 (01:18:45):
We already had played, a sushi, a couple of burritos.
Speaker 2 (01:18:50):
Hot cheetos.
Speaker 4 (01:18:51):
Yeah, so really all I had to do, all we
really had to get was Nacho's and some ICs.
Speaker 5 (01:18:56):
Is this did you look into it to see? Is
that like something that now Flicks did to promote the
one night thing?
Speaker 3 (01:19:04):
But that's cool. Don't you wish every movie.
Speaker 5 (01:19:05):
Taken it came with a freebe at the concession stand.
Speaker 3 (01:19:09):
That'd be nice.
Speaker 2 (01:19:09):
And was like to the back, like almost to the door,
Like it was so long.
Speaker 5 (01:19:13):
This is a great picture of you and your daughter.
I feel like I was babysitting her just a couple
of years ago. She's all grown up then, all right.
My picture is from New Year's Eve as well. I
did a little gambling on New Year's Eve. We had
a one of our close friends and their kids come
stay with us for a New Year's Eve, sort of
a tradition we do every year.
Speaker 3 (01:19:33):
We either go to their house or they come to ours.
Speaker 5 (01:19:36):
And the ladies, the wives sent my buddy Sean and
I out to pick up the dinner that they had ordered,
and we just got sidetracked into a little place called
Ason Vine and Napa, my favorite spot by the way,
shout out Taste and Vine, and they have us black
chat going on there, and so we stopped in there
because you know, all we had to text back.
Speaker 3 (01:19:54):
Was like the food orders taken.
Speaker 5 (01:19:55):
A little longer than I thought, and we dragged our
feet on that. So we popped in there. Play some
hands of blackjack. Now this picture here, you guys. These
Uh that was a pretty large bat. I threw on
one hand and I it didn't go well.
Speaker 2 (01:20:09):
Oh I thought you couldn't take pictures.
Speaker 9 (01:20:12):
You can sneak them no, you can't, right, I always
get I.
Speaker 5 (01:20:16):
Always get yelled at different places have different rules. They
don't usually want you using your phone mid like game.
But I think I don't know anybody's showing snapped this picture.
Speaker 3 (01:20:25):
There was no scolding.
Speaker 5 (01:20:27):
Everybody's very friendly at as of mine. Well, they were
friendly until they took that giant stack of chip so
I stood on one hand. I think I got a
sixteen on that hand, and it just did not go well.
That was one where I was like, this is going
to be the best New Year's ever. Slid that giant
stack of chips out there, and then they just never mind.
But we still had a great time.
Speaker 8 (01:20:46):
Yes, and then mine a picture of me and Ruben
at the Giants Raiders game Agile No Alegion at Allegian Stadium.
Speaker 9 (01:20:58):
It was so fun.
Speaker 8 (01:20:59):
You guys were wrong. Raiders fans were super nice.
Speaker 2 (01:21:02):
Probably we never.
Speaker 3 (01:21:03):
Said, I said, Raider fans of Assaults of the Earth
the nicest people ever.
Speaker 8 (01:21:07):
You said they were going to be mean and throw
things at us because we were wearing the other Well.
Speaker 2 (01:21:11):
They should have.
Speaker 3 (01:21:11):
Yeah, that's what they're supposed to be.
Speaker 8 (01:21:12):
When they did him and I also did a little
bit of gambling gram and I lost.
Speaker 3 (01:21:18):
Okay, I put twenty playing.
Speaker 8 (01:21:21):
I put Roulette Relett's my favorite. I put twenty five
on seventeen.
Speaker 9 (01:21:25):
Yeah, and I was so like, it's gonna hit.
Speaker 3 (01:21:28):
It has that's the significance behind the number seventeen.
Speaker 9 (01:21:30):
I don't know. It just came to me, Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:21:33):
I figured it was like the day you guys got engaged.
Speaker 9 (01:21:35):
Wedding date.
Speaker 8 (01:21:36):
And I was so mad because it landed on thirty four,
which was the number right next to seventeen.
Speaker 2 (01:21:44):
I was my one number.
Speaker 9 (01:21:46):
I would have taken home like nine hundred something dollars.
Speaker 3 (01:21:49):
Yeah, that would have been a big payday thirty one.
Speaker 9 (01:21:51):
After that, I was like, okay, no more gambling for me.
Speaker 2 (01:21:54):
That's that's enough of a loss.
Speaker 4 (01:21:56):
Were you I love the picture, Well, you're scared to
wear all wine a little.
Speaker 8 (01:22:01):
Bit, especially because I was drinking like amitada the whole
time and I was getting it all mustard from the
hot dive.
Speaker 2 (01:22:06):
They to spill something, you sit on something, some.
Speaker 3 (01:22:09):
Fans throw something at you.
Speaker 5 (01:22:10):
Yeah, nobody heckled you Giants fans walking through the House
of the Raiders.
Speaker 8 (01:22:15):
There was a lot of Giants fans there and no,
no Raiders fans. In fact, I got a compliment from
a Raider fan in the bathroom.
Speaker 3 (01:22:23):
Wow, they've gone thought game on you. Raders fans. Shame
on you.
Speaker 5 (01:22:26):
They always tell us they're the best fans. Ever, apparently not,
they've said wow. All right.
