Nine Wild Andy for nine to base number one hit
music station, The JV Show on a Monday. Oh my god,
how's it Monday?

Speaker 3 (00:07):
I'm ready?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Why all right? I'm Selena, I'm a head. I'm Jess.
First talkback of the day. By the way, we have
your crazy Cash your chance on a thousand bucks. That's
on standby first the first talkback. Hey, JV Show.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
I hope you had a great weekend, Selena. I can't
wait to hear about the Sphere. I went to the
Dead and Company show and it was unbelievably amazing. At
the airport on my way for a work trip and
a couple of things. One people were stopped in front
of me, so I'm assuming they're swampy and Graham, did
do your wife's Taylor Swift raw ever? Correct her hunch?

Speaker 5 (00:42):
Because I got one?

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Thanks? Oh wow, Okay, so much to unpack?

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Yeah, quite a few things. Where do you want to
begin your time in Vegas at the Sphere? Because she
says she saw Dead and Company there and it was amazing,
And Selenna, you saw the Backstreet Boys?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Was it? Was it amazing?

Speaker 2 (00:58):
It was everything? I do want to talk about my
vague his trip next, so I'll unpack all of that next.
The other thing she mentioned she was at the airport.
People were stopped in front of her. We talked last
week about swamp crotch. Could you know set off?

Speaker 3 (01:11):
They can set off? That's that one scanner if you
are swampy enough.

Speaker 5 (01:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
And then she also asked if my wife's Taylor Swift
bra corrected her posture or not because it's not Taylor
Swift Bra. I can't remember the name of the brand,
but Taylor Swift either wore one or whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
If you google Taylor Swift posture or raw, it'll find
you the one that I got my wife for Christmas.

Speaker 6 (01:31):
And I couldn't tell you if my wife's been wearing
hers or not.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
In that talk back, she says, I've got one, meaning
does she have a hunch or she got that same bra.

Speaker 6 (01:40):
I couldn't tell what she meant.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
There, but that like Bra braw. Yeah, I took it
that she hadn't think she would admit to having a hunch. Well,
if you haven't noticed anything with your wife, I guess
that means it doesn't it doesn't work. Then she's so
much back.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
No, my wife never Wow shots fine, I mean my
wife never had one.

Speaker 6 (01:57):
My wife never had a hunch back.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
She does not have a but she was concerned about
her posture because she worked. In a moment, She's like, I
just sit in a chair all day long, and I
feel like my posture is terrible, right, and I think
that the posture braw. I remember initially she's saying, like,
you know, it's not the most comfortable thing in the
world because it is kind of pulling your shoulders back.
But I think it probably helped, if not, if nothing else,
served as a reminder.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
To sit up straight, sit up straight. Everybody needs to
do that, hunty, right now, let me just sit up straight.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
I just look for people walking around, I'm like, just
stand I know, oh you got to do a stand
up straighter.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Like, I know, if you're said than done, it is.

Speaker 6 (02:34):
Easier said than done.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
But if you want the easiest quick fix to make
you look more confident, look better, look happier, look everything,
just stand up straight.

Speaker 6 (02:43):
I'm telling you. It does wonders.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Yeah, but then you don't think about it. You just
un you like justice right now?

Speaker 6 (02:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Thanks doom scrolling all hunched over the JV Show on
Wild ninety four to nine.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Now it's time four.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
The four things you need a heads up on to
start your day.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Okay, if you are flying Alaska Airlines today, listen up.
There was an IT outage last night that causes system
wide ground stop. So every plane was grounded for like
three hours. So because of that, a lot of delays.
If your flight is not canceled at all, to just know,
things going to be a mess with Alaska Airlines today.

Speaker 6 (03:19):
Not fun.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Horrible start to the second half of the baseball season
for the Giants. They were swept over the weekend in Toronto,
losing all three of their games with the Blue Jays. Luckily,
they didn't lose too much ground on the Dodgers in
their division because the Dodgers also swept over the weekend
by the Brewers.

Speaker 6 (03:34):
Giants road trip continues today.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
They start a series with the Braves' first pitch at
four fifteen.

Speaker 5 (03:40):
Oh man, nice, it feels like we're back to mayweather.
Today's some fog. Hazel is out this morning. We will
have some afternoon sunshine with highs in the low to
mid seventies, and you can expect a very windy afternoon
with gus up to twenty five miles power, Happy summer everybody.

Speaker 6 (03:55):
Hey, Pisce's best. Ye, Hey, your day Today's going to
be a seven.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
The moon is causing you some confusion to start this week.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Interesting.

Speaker 6 (04:04):
I don't know what that means.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
If you aren't sure if someone or something, wait until
you are before taking the next step. This is particularly
true for new romantic relationships. Jumping in too quickly could
get very sticky.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Oh oh you don't want the stickiness.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
Yeah, I don't have any of those neo romantic relationships.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
IM good, all right, next to the Yeah, that's a
good question.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
The JV show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
You guys, Vegas was so fun. Oh, it was like
so mine it looked fun. I am very struggling this morning, though.

Speaker 7 (04:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
When'd you get back yesterday? Like midday? Yeah, it was
a really quick trip, by the way, where the JV show,
I'm Selena Graham, and I'm just really quick trip to
Vegas over the weekend. I didn't get there till Friday
night because that's when I could we could get a babysitter,
you know. So we left late, left early yesterday. So
I got back maybe around like two o'clock. But I
am so hungover right now. It's like one of those

(04:58):
like two day vegas. Hey over, So I am struggling.
But listen, the Battory Boys concert literally the best concert
I've ever been to in my life, and I've been
to a lot of concerts. You guys, it looked insane.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Was it was the best concert ever because of the venue,
because it was at the Sphere, or because the Backstreet
Boys can like still really throw down some sweet dance moves.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
It was you know, it really wasn't about the dance
moves because yeah, the dance moves are super slow because
they're so old. But it was it was a combination
of like nostalgia alert and like the Sphere doalgia alert.
It's likely twenty six and a half. But when I
was like, you know, younger listening to the Backtory Boys,
I couldn't go to them and you were barely born,

(05:40):
That's what I'm saying, Like I can just go to
a concert and go see them, so it's to like
it's like a it was a full circle moment.

Speaker 5 (05:46):
Okay, So but the Sphere though, like at a TENERI
it's crazy at a ten did you think.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
I got a little sphere of.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
Judge there Se because it's full circle.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Ten out of ten, wow, ten out of ten. The
graphics were crazy. Even in your seat is like it's
like moving, it's like vibrating a little bit. It's like
it was crazy. Whoa, you guys have to go? I
will not go see why.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
I'm waiting for someone that I want to see there,
and then I am just dying to go see his show.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
It was it was so cool. So so a few
weeks ago, I saw a video of the backshe Boys
on TikTok and thank god I saw this because they
were like we want this is the Millennium Tour or
for whatever it's called. He's like, we want everybody to
wear all white. And like, if I hadn't seen that
video and like I would have worn something else, I
would have been the only person they're not wearing white. No,

(06:37):
there was a couple of people there that were wearing
like just like whatever. They stood out. I was like,
what's some bearrassing?

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Wait?

Speaker 2 (06:43):
So then how did other people found out? Find out?
Just literally on TikTok? I think so you just kuldn't know?

Speaker 6 (06:49):
And why was it one big diddy white party.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
I don't get it because because that's like their uh
their millennium album cover, they were all white and so
they asked for white outfits. It's like metallic blue like
accents or whatever.

Speaker 6 (07:02):
Did you have any metallic blue accidents?

Speaker 2 (07:04):
I couldn't find any. No, No, I would have been
so cool. I got to reuse my bachelorette dress, which
I would have never worn again, so I just wore that.

Speaker 6 (07:11):
Okay, that's good.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
And did you guys after the show venture out to
do any gambling or anything?

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Club in really? Yeah? Way, which one did you go to?

Speaker 5 (07:22):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Are you familiar with the Vegas drift clubs?

Speaker 8 (07:24):
Grow?

Speaker 6 (07:24):
No, maybe it is.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
We went to a spearmit right now? Okay, that was
my first time there.

Speaker 6 (07:30):
Yeah, and and tell us more.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Ten out of ten? Rest why I'm so hungover? We
were there like literally the other people that we were with,
with my cousin, her husband, and my friend, like they
were like, okay, well, we're just gonna go, and me
and my husband okay, bye, and we were just like
whoa to like four o'clock in the morning, like it
was an adventure?

Speaker 6 (07:50):
How many times did you have to hit the ATM?

Speaker 2 (07:53):
My husband went back a few times, so it's the worst.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
When you go back that third time, it's like you're
over your daily liment. You're not allowed to withdraw anymore.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
You're saying. He was saying that, like the ATM charged
you one hundred dollars just to withdraw money. So it's
like they just took all of our money. Oh yeah,
that's robbery.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Literally, you see people making it rain and stripp like
you're that's what you're doing.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
You're just giving away all just giving it to them.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Here you go and just flurry and then charges after charges,
and the drinks are expensive, you know, it's like everything there.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Wearded so many drinks.

Speaker 6 (08:25):
They're charging it every turn.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
I'm too cheap for the strip club. I just couldn't. Yeah,
it's like really really fun.

Speaker 5 (08:33):
Wait, okay, I have a question because I saw one
of your videos and in it it looked like the
stage was like I don't know if this was just
a sphere like floating.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Yeah, it was. That was just like an effect right
now at one point, like they did have this like
they were on like a floating stage and like with
the graphics in the background, it looks crazy.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
WHOA, I thought that was just like an effect.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
They were really up there like it was. It was insane.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
How drunk were you going into the show, Because I
was like, I imagine some people almost get not almost like
motion sick in there because they do a lot of
things that make it feel like you're flying through space
and stuff.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
I was scared that was gonna be me, but I wasn't.
I wasn't very drunk. I didn't get really drunk till after.
But I was also drunk before but it kind of
went away.

Speaker 6 (09:16):
Well it's Vegas.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Yeah, No, I'm not definitely not judging that.

Speaker 5 (09:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (09:19):
And were you just like screaming like, yeah, I have.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Like no voice after that? Yes, I was in there
going crazy. It was so much. Oh my god, Brian,
though I don't do you know who which one Brian
is gram Nope, Uh, he's a little he was a
little struggling with the vocals. Apparently he has a vocal
tension dysphonia, and so he can't like project his voice
and he doesn't really have a lot of control over it.
But I mean, so does he Just he was live

(09:45):
and that's why you can hear like this struggleness in
his voice. But I just think I just found this out,
but I assumed, like maybe other fans like just kind
of new and that's why they still like supported him,
you know, going on there singing live, but yeah, he
was not good. Well they're older now.

Speaker 6 (10:00):
I'm shocked that they're actually singing.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Yeah, it was all live, it was goodly to a track.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
And then they're there with their walkers with the tennis
balls on. I'm like trying to do some dance mood
like they're pretty gold anyway.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
So if that's why I run out of the studio
at some point to go throw up, it's because it
just got back from Vegas. You're gonna have to excuse me.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
Okay, the JV show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Happy Monday, where the JV Show. I'm Selena and I'm Jess.
And when do you guys typically start your back to
school shopping? Oh Graham, you don't do any of it.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
I got I've gone along for the I'm not the
one that I'm not the guy that plans it, let's
put it that way. But I'm gone on the you know,
trip to Old Navy to buy all the things, to
buy everything because they just ruined every single article of
clothing that they ever wear to school and or I
have grown out of everything that they go that they've
ever had.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Plus any new op at slate flex.

Speaker 6 (10:53):
Yeah the dream.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Okay, I was curious about that.

Speaker 5 (10:57):
I was gonna ask if you guys were the type
of parents to us do like supplies with back to
school shopping or you buy supplies and new clothes and
everything year every year.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Yeah, I thought out they're buying like pencils and stuff.
They gets clothes, they need socks, they need underwear, they
need shorts, they need shirts.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
So apparently Americans are starting their back to school shopping
a lot earlier this year, so you guys might want
to actually like jump in on that as well.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Two thirds of families are stalking up already.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
And a lot of it is because there are new
tariffs that are going to set in place or are
going to be in effect in August. So if you
wait till then things might get a little more expensive.
So for any parents listening out there.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Well, there's you might want to there's always tariffs on
the horizon. Yeah, this is a new tariff for another
tariff here.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
But I assume that a lot of that stuff that
I'm going to be shopping for is already here and
hopefully skirt it under the tariffs.

Speaker 6 (11:52):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (11:52):
Yeah, I mean you would hope for it, but I
think if you can save a little money here and there,
you might just want to get it and literally, Now, do.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
You guys go in you guys still do in person shopping?
Or do you online shop everything?

Speaker 3 (12:05):
We usually take the kids in person, okay, and then
they can help pick out a few of the shirt
like I like this shirt, I like that, you know whatever.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Yeah, I'd rather do online, but my daughter likes to
go in. I feel like you have to go in.

Speaker 5 (12:17):
Person because that's part of the experience. Yeah, at least
that's how I remember.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
It me too, Yeah, I know. I haven't started yet though.

Speaker 6 (12:23):
We just go to Old Navy and buy one of everything.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
It's such a good deal. You cannot beat the deal there.
I'm telling you, stuff is so cheap. My daughter would
never let me buy or anything. Maybe should be like, no,
we're not doing that. Well, my kids are fine and
it's great, nice everything they've got.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
Well, just you wait, Graham, enjoy it right now, because
that's probably gonna change.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
So they get older, they get pickier. Yeah, and then
you know they want what they want, I'll.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
Let them pick it out, then you go, then you
do your shopping.

Speaker 5 (12:51):
Yeah, and then they no longer want like the fake
looking converse, They want the real Breadang.

Speaker 6 (12:56):
Well, they better go get a job and earn that
real money then pay for it.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
All right, Graham, what do you have here?

Speaker 3 (13:02):
If you guys are hoping to go see Christopher Nolan's
upcoming movie, The Odyssey. Now, look, this doesn't come out
until July of next year, but he wanted to see
it on opening weekend here in the Bay Area on
an Imax screen. And I guess this movie, look, it
sounds like it's going to be a really big, huge
blockbuster next year, and big, big time cast and Hathaway,

(13:25):
Charlie's Therons and Dea, Robert Pattinson. Wow, all kinds of
names are in this thing. But he was shot on
some special kind of Imax film, seventy millimeter Imax. It's
one of the only movies, if not the only one
to ever have been shot entirely in this format, so
that you need to see it in a special Imax
theater that can show it, and there are only nineteen

(13:45):
of those theaters in the country.

Speaker 6 (13:46):
One of them here in San Francisco, and I think
there's one in Dublin.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
But if you want to go opening weekend to see
this again next July Christopher Nolans movie The Odyssey, it's
already sold out.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
They put the two Are you kidding me?

Speaker 3 (13:58):
They put tickets on sale at the end of this
past week on Thursday, and it immediately basically sold out.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
People are buying movie tickets a year in advance. One
year demand is that great?

Speaker 3 (14:11):
Have you guys ever bought movie tickets more than one
day out because I've never always like it's same day.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Yeah, it's always like on my way there, let me
just buy the tickets really quickly. Right, I've gotten them,
maybe like a week out.

Speaker 5 (14:23):
If I knew, I was, yeah, like movies, what movie?

Speaker 6 (14:27):
I need to know?

Speaker 2 (14:28):
But it's mainly not because of me.

Speaker 5 (14:29):
It's because of my fiance just because he's such a planner.
He's like, Okay, if we're going to go this day, Okay,
I'll get the movie tickets.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Sure.

Speaker 6 (14:36):
Did they even sell them that far?

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Maybe not a week, but definitely a few days they do.
I think they sell them. Yeah, but what movie? I
don't know.

Speaker 5 (14:47):
He's just a planner, so it makes him feel better
if we already have I'm kind.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Of judging weird.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
I also feel like anytime we went to the movies
on Friday, anytime I've gone to the movies, even if
it's the weekend that the movie comes out, I've never
had trouble getting a ticket.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
There's always tickets available.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
I don't like, I've never been like, ah, I wanted
to see this one, but the theater sold out.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
I haven't had that happen. And I don't know how muchy.
I mean, there's been times where I didn't like my seats.
All the good seats are are picked already and I'm
like in the front or something like that. But yeah,
it's never been sold out, yeah, I don't think. And
then any movies, there's always so many movie times, you know.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
Yeah, but the tickets for The Odyssey.

Speaker 6 (15:28):
We don't even know really anything about this movie other
than it and the thing.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
I don't know, but it's gonna be big, you guys,
The Odyssey the opening weekend. Sorry, if you wanted to
see that at the Metreon here in San Francisco.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Sorry, it's already sold out.

Speaker 6 (15:43):
That's again crazy July twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
All right, coming up inside today's hat is trending. We
have to go back to talking about the cold play
a fair scandal because there's just so much that happens
over the weekends. We're gonna unpack all of that.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Coming up next the JV Show on Wild ninety four
to nine.

Speaker 9 (15:58):
Good morning JV.

Speaker 10 (16:00):
Oh, it's your boy, Jesus your sack.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
Happy Monday. Hope y'all had to be a weekend.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
Uh, Elena sounds sick already, but anyway, so y'all like
to break the rules.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
I just wanted to shoot my shot.

Speaker 11 (16:13):
See if I.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Can maybe get a chug mugs sends to me. I've
already checked ten plus good wills, can't see to find it,
so yeah.

Speaker 10 (16:21):
I would appreciate it.

Speaker 12 (16:23):
But yeah, I have a good day.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
Ooh asking for a chug mug. We love Jesus in
sackcause one of our one of our favorite listeners.

Speaker 6 (16:30):
He say checked ten good wills.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
That's, of course, in reference to the fact that I
accidentally donated a boss.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
I still cannot believe you did that.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
You can sure chug mugs local Goodwill. When I was
dropping off a bunch of other stuff. It just got
unloaded out of the back of my car. Whoops. Still
no sign of those I don't know where they worked
there for a surface or the goodwill just put.

Speaker 6 (16:47):
Them in the incinerator.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
Hey, well, the good news is coming up seven oh five.
You have a chance to win one, and said, what
the play? You do that every morning? Right your own
wild go.

Speaker 12 (16:56):
It's all the stuff you need to know, what's hot
and music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
The All right, let's go back to the cold play
A fair scandal because so much you couldn't even like
open social media over the weekend without seeing like a
meme or a video or just something. All right, So Saturday,
the guy who was cheating on his wife, he he resigned.
Did you see that?

Speaker 6 (17:23):
I did?

Speaker 2 (17:24):
He resigned from astronomer, a company helped build.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
I kept wondering if that was true because the statement
that he supposedly put out last week, we learned that
was fake. So I kept like, any news that came
out about this, I'm like, but yeah, but is it real?

Speaker 2 (17:39):
That's how I This one is seems to be very
this one is.

Speaker 5 (17:43):
Did you guys see because This might have also been fake,
but there was a supposed statement that was put out
by one of the spouses of the cheating I didn't
see that the cheating couple. But I think again it
might be fake because it also referenced like the.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
Oh and you ended your letter with the song.

Speaker 13 (17:59):
Well, all I have to say is blah blah blah
blahh okay, definitely fa No, but people do think that
they are headed for divorce because, like immediately after this
whole story broke Andy Byron's wife, Megan, she.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
She went and changed her last name on social media
back to her maiden back to her maiden name.

Speaker 3 (18:18):
I mean, that's an instant divorce in my mind. Can
you imagine the humiliation of waking up that firestorm. The
most viral thing of twenty twenty five so far is
your spouse cheating on you very public and getting busted
very publicly and then going viral like see ya, You're
never gonna hear from me again.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
And would you like to know how much money she
could get in this divorce? Yes, because Massachusetts they have
you know, fifty to fifty marital laws, where like if
you're married for more than seven years, which they were like,
you do. You just have to split any assets you
built together fifty to fifty. Yeah, she can get anywhere
between twenty and seventy million dollars.

Speaker 6 (18:53):
Get your bag, queen, get your bag. You are bad.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
And then did you see Morgan Wallin. He's on stage
age at steven Marina and Glendale on Friday night, and
he was He even referenced this entire thing, and he
joked about how like side chicks are safe at his shows.
Show that's nice for anybody in here with the sidehicks,
you know, I think you're safe here. But then he said,
I don't condone cheating or whatever whatever. Okay, but this

(19:21):
story is just like taking over the world, insane. I know.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
I have loved some of the memes, some of the
memes and some of the videos, and then some of
the spoofs have been really good.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Pretty Yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:30):
A lot of the mascots are like joining in and
doing it at like baseball games and everything.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
Yeah, it's so funny.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
I saw the Philly fanatics their mascots.

Speaker 6 (19:38):
They have a male and female mascot. I think they're married.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
Wait, that's hilarious.

Speaker 6 (19:42):
They did it the two.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
Mascot the kiss cam they did a regular kiss cam
around the stadium and then when it went to them,
they re enacted you know exactly what the Oh my god.

Speaker 6 (19:50):
So well done.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Also just really quick. Selena Gomez celebrated her thirty third
birthday and she threw a seventies themed party Saturday Night Fever.
Benny Blanco was there. Obviously, Taylor Swift showed up. People
were like fangirling over the besties being back together, but
no sign of Travis Kelce not. Yeah, I wouldn't there.
I wouldn't expect to see it. I think he's probably
I think he's probably back at camp. Start of the

(20:14):
NFL training camps are getting ready to start. Okay, that
makes sense.

Speaker 6 (20:18):
Well who knows?

Speaker 2 (20:19):
Yeah, I don't know, but he wasn't there. Taylor Swift
was Graham.

Speaker 6 (20:22):
What do you have for all?

Speaker 2 (20:22):
Right?

Speaker 6 (20:22):
A couple of quick things.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
First, Starbucks, Pumpkins Spice lovers, it's time to rejoice because
Pumpkin spice season is probably a lot closer than you thought.
The company announced today that Pumpkin Spice lattes returning to
their stores venues starting August twenty sixth, So mark your
calendars and just for reference, the first day of fall
isn't until September.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Twenty second, So August twenty six. How do you guys
feel about that? We say this every year. It always
seems so soon, but at that point we're already back
in school, you know. So I guess it does feel
a little more.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
Fall, except that we're gonna be smack in the middle
of summer if it arrives here in the Bay Area.

Speaker 6 (20:58):
It may not. We have not that summer yet.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
We always get late summers.

Speaker 6 (21:02):
Yeah, but August twenty six sounds crazy.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
I'm not ready.

Speaker 5 (21:05):
Yeah, I'm not ready for Halloween stuff. I love Halloween,
but I'm not ready for all of it, for seeing
all that in stores, and then fall is going to
get here in no time.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
And I feel like I haven't even like.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Enjoyed summer yet because we haven't gotten it yet, hasn't started.
I'm going to talk about that coming up at seven
to fifty five. There's actually some historical data to show
that this is just a crazy anomally what we're seeing
this year. Okay, right, and then really quick, some good
news for lots of Bay Area residents affected by that
garbage workers strike. On Friday, tentative agreement was reached between
Republic Services and the Workers Union. That meant that That

(21:37):
meant that garbage service finally restored in about twenty five
northern California cities, most of those right here in the
Bay Area. Residents had watched their trash pile up since
July eighth.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
That was a oh my god.

Speaker 6 (21:49):
Bags of garbage.

Speaker 3 (21:51):
It was either piling up at your house or you
were taking it to one of those drop off sites.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Either way, that was piling up.

Speaker 6 (21:56):
That was not fun.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
I guess stinky.

Speaker 6 (21:58):
So that's good news.

Speaker 7 (21:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
All right, now, so what the bleep is? Where you
can win a Chuck Mug. You just have to be
the first person a guest today's leeped out word correctly.
Now when you think you know what it is, leave
your guests on the talkback mic on the iHeart or
radio app. Are you guys ready for today's clip? Yep.

Speaker 8 (22:13):
So my son is obsessed with Giant His dream is.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
To ride one one day.

Speaker 6 (22:19):
Yeah, yeah, dream big.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
And as a parent you have to support this. You
have one hundred percent. I think it's cute.

Speaker 6 (22:25):
AJ A little uncomfortable about it.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
Though, No, not really. Oh he supports too.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
That's great.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
Yeah, okay, that's a very new age of those. All right,
think about what that bleeped out word could be. And remember,
look there's people that slide into my dms all the time, like,
how do I leave a talkback? It's very very simple,
but you do have to have the iHeartRadio app, So
start there, download that. Then you got that, then you're
streaming Wild ninety four nine. Then there's the microphone button.
You just hit that and record your guests. That's how

(22:49):
easy it is to play along. And you want to
win a JV show, Chuckmunk, So you can't win one
if you're not playing along with the game. All right,
leave us your name and your city along with that
guest that you've recorded. Just remember keep your guests is
PG because this is a family friends show, so the
winning guests will be something clean.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Yep. The JV show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
We are trying to give you this chug mug, but
you gotta be the first person to guest today's beeped
out word correctly. Now if you missed today's clip here
it is so.

Speaker 8 (23:14):
My son is obsessed with a giant. His dream is
to ride one one day.

Speaker 6 (23:21):
Yes, it is bigger the better too. Yeah, get one
of those giant ones.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
Yeah, let's go to your guesses.

Speaker 13 (23:30):
Hey, TV show, It's Alana from San Leandro, and I
think today's bleeped out word is horses.

Speaker 6 (23:36):
Thank you, have a good day, like big horses.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
He loves horses. Yeah really, I mean what kid doesn't
they get so excited when they see animals.

Speaker 6 (23:45):
Yeah, that's a good point.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
I don't know if my kids have dreamed of ride
in a giant horse or not, but you know, maybe
think might have.

Speaker 6 (23:52):
Okay, Morning JV Show.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Victor Day.

Speaker 7 (23:56):
So I'm gonna say monster truck.

Speaker 10 (23:58):
Thanks guys.

Speaker 6 (24:01):
Yeah, I have a big monster truck.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Yeah, that's too. He wants to write a lot of things.
I think that still is my my son's dream. I
thought you were gonna say yours.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
Well mine too. I mean it would be fun to
ride drive a monster truck. But I think that was
sta Again.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
If you asked my son what he wants to be
when he grows up, it still is probably Oh that's cute.

Speaker 10 (24:19):
Yeah, Good Morning j V Show.

Speaker 14 (24:21):
Dallas from Benicia.

Speaker 10 (24:22):
The bleep that word fire.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
Truck another thing he's obsessed with these are all such
good guesses. He likes a lot of things. Yeah, yeah,
he really wants to ride some stuff. Right, but just
remember monster trucks, fire trucks is those are two words.
We try to keep these to one word. It's fire truck,
two words. I don't know that's a good one. I
think I thought so. I think I get everything Monday,

(24:46):
all right, continue to leave your guesses on the talk
back and her app. What do you think today's sleep
dot word is? Why are you doing that? We are
going to switch gears just really quick. We have your
chance to win a thousand bucks in crazy cash. Graham,
what's this hour's keyword?

Speaker 3 (24:58):
I still need to know a fire truck, August, I know,
I feel like it's two words, right, it's too I
think it's one.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
We saw right now the JV Show on Wild ninety nine.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
We are playing what the Bleep, where all you have
to do is be the first person to guest today's
leaped out word. If you can do that correctly, like
you're the first one to get it right, We're going
to send you a JV show Chuck mug. It always
takes a little while to get it because Jess is
you know, it just sends them out a little late,
but you know, exactly on the way to see patient.

Speaker 6 (25:30):
Well, it's kind of snail mail, you know. That's all right.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
So if you missed today's clip, here it is. So.

Speaker 8 (25:36):
My son is obsessed with Giant. His dream is to
ride one one day.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
Yep, it is to get so excited when he sees one.
It's the cutest thing. All right, let's go to your guesses.
Remember this is a family show. You Good morning JV show,
Happy Monday.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
I am not feeling it, but I think the sleep
outward is rollercoasterday.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
Bye, great guess, great guests, very popular guests this morning.

Speaker 6 (26:04):
A lot of people guessing that roller coaster one word.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Or too young? Oh, roller coaster one word. But he
don't start this. He's still a little too young for really. Yeah,
he's only four.

Speaker 6 (26:14):
Good morning JV Show.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
This is Daniel from val My guess for the sleep
That word is motorcycle. Motorcycle.

Speaker 6 (26:21):
Guess there's another popular guess. Are there giant motorcycles out there?

Speaker 3 (26:25):
No?

Speaker 2 (26:25):
I think they're just like one size, oh, pretty standard giant.
If they're a small true a four year old? Yep?

Speaker 10 (26:32):
Good, already know I'm going to guess dinosaur love'll have
a good.

Speaker 6 (26:39):
Time dinosaur one of the most popular guesses.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
But like his dream is to ride something that's not Sorry,
it happen missed by about fifty million.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
Yeah, hi, JV Show family. This is one from half
Moon Bay. I think the bleeped out word is dragon.
He wants to ride a giant dragon love.

Speaker 10 (26:57):
You guys have a great week.

Speaker 6 (27:00):
Those have gone extinct. I can't ride those.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
Sorry, Dang, It's all right? So did nobody get the
word today? We're not starting off to swing? You know,
we all have a case of the mondays. Yeah, I suppose,
all right, So here is today's clip, unbleeped.

Speaker 8 (27:13):
So my son is obsessed with giant excavators.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
His dream is to ride one one day.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
Yeah, how did nobody guess that all kids love excavators.
It's the most popular tractor of all the kinds. You
don't want to be the loader of the bulldozer, the steamer,
You want to.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
Be the excavator driver, right man.

Speaker 5 (27:33):
Some people did go to the general route and they
said tractors.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
But that's not attractors.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
Trains, rockets, crane your mom, Giraffes and elephants are the
other most popular guest.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Is this morning someone said turtles. All right, all good
guesses and thank you everyone for playing. Oh dang it
so close, but it's all good, Doug.

Speaker 6 (27:56):
Mugs shall be given.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
Yeah, we are going to do it again tomorrow. Those
seven oh five right here on the JV Show.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
Happy Monday. Let's go to the phones. Hi is this Joseph? Hello?

Speaker 6 (28:07):
Good morning?

Speaker 8 (28:08):

Speaker 2 (28:08):
Oh my good Joseph there. How's the weekend?

Speaker 6 (28:12):
Oh man, how was the weekend? What do we do?
It's just oh.

Speaker 7 (28:17):
It, it's a blur. I'm just I'm just so I'm
excited right now for the game.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
All right, let's let's just get to the game then,
because jess what do we have on the line today?

Speaker 5 (28:27):
We have two tickets to see k Trenada and Justice

Speaker 2 (28:31):

All right, Adrian, thanks for bell and good Selena can

Speaker 6 (29:40):

Speaker 2 (29:41):
You're gonna hate me. I have it. Oh my, I'm
so much a life references.

Speaker 6 (29:47):
You just don't understand.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
You know, I haven't watched anything I know, but that one.

Speaker 6 (29:50):
I mean you have at least the first Anchor man,
I know.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
All right, So you guys got one point. Here's question
number three. B flow. It's the combination of a how
and what other kind of animal? Yep?

Speaker 6 (30:08):
Uh cow in the buffalo?

Speaker 3 (30:11):
Yeah, I mean technically technically it's a bison.

Speaker 6 (30:15):
But yeah, all right.

Speaker 3 (30:17):
Question number four Bourbon Street is an iconic party street
in what city?

Speaker 2 (30:27):
Yeah? There we go.

Speaker 5 (30:29):
Okay, they were still deliberating, but we'll take it.

Speaker 2 (30:37):

are expecting.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
That's awesome.

Speaker 6 (31:05):
We're so excited.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
But more importantly, I don't really care. We do care,
We do care.

Speaker 5 (31:13):
Love.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
She didn't want you to share, and you're sharing. Oh
that's a good point. All right, we'll put you on hold.
You guys can find it out. Okay, thank you. All right, guys, they're.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
Just got they got a little bundle of joy on
the way.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
They just want some tickets.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
Some key Truda Truda. What I said, it's a wonderful
drug according to the commercials that I've seen, Key Trudah.

Speaker 6 (31:37):
I think it's for cancer anyways.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
All right, one shout out to give one DM slide
right now, I got one, says Graham. Happy Monday, hoping
for a birthday shout out for my daughter Lily. She
turned eleven over the weekend. She loves listening to your show. Lily,
you shine inside out and we love you so much. Thanks,
And that's from Mom Ashley. So Lily, hope you have
an amazing, amazing birthday weekend.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
That's that's a great point before we get to today's
hottest trending Graham. You went to the movies over the weekend.

Speaker 6 (32:02):
I did.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
On Friday night, took the family to see the new
Smurfs movie.

Speaker 14 (32:07):
Was this?

Speaker 2 (32:08):
This was opening weekend for the stuff? Right, just came out?
Then why were there only eight people in my theater
at Theory?

Speaker 3 (32:15):
We went for the seven thirty five show, like you
would think that would be the time, right, And when
I went on line to book the tickets about an
hour ahead of time, I was like, oh man, we're
probably not even gonna get, you know, any decent seats.
We'll be sitting in front row. Oh they were all available,
all of them Mix five.

Speaker 2 (32:33):
They were doing so much promo. It's like the week
leading up all all I saw was Smurf stuff, Smurf
Rihanna on the red carpet, and this premiere and this
and that, Like they were doing so much promo.

Speaker 6 (32:45):
I give my honest movie review.

Speaker 2 (32:48):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (32:49):
Now, look you have to take this with a bit
of a grain of salt because I fell.

Speaker 6 (32:52):
Asleep during part of it, just because, oh my god.

Speaker 3 (32:55):
Selena, you know, a Friday night movie is tough to
stay awake the entire thing for your crazy hours.

Speaker 6 (33:00):
I didn't take a nap that day.

Speaker 3 (33:01):
I was exhausted and had a couple of drinking drinks
at dinner beforehand. So like, look, I dozed off in
a couple of parts.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
That's like a perfect nap time.

Speaker 6 (33:09):
Okay, it was great.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
What did you think?

Speaker 3 (33:10):
Here's my honest Murph's review. Well, particularly here's my here's
here are my takeaways. Like the movie was fun. My
kids had fun. Like if you have a you know,
if you have young kids in your family, they're gonna
have a good time. It's like any of these animated movies,
they like them. I was like, I asked, my kids,
did you.

Speaker 6 (33:25):
Love that movie?

Speaker 5 (33:26):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (33:26):
Yeah, it was great. You're gonna get that reaction right.
It's fun.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
And then you know, the songs and stuff are great.
The Rihanna casting, Can I be honest about that? You
didn't like it?

Speaker 6 (33:38):
I don't really get it, Like, why why is Rihanna
s Murfat. I don't know, I don't know. I mean,
there's so many great voice actors in it.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
One of those things that like, as you're watching it,
you just couldn't get over the fact that it was
her because her voice is very distinct.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
It is, but it almost doesn't sound like her a
lot of times, and I don't know, it just I
was underwhelmed by that, and I kind of questioned that
choice a little bit. I get that, you know, probably
they wanted her on some of the music and stuff
like that, and she has a.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
Lot of voice acting. I actually like, I haven't seen
the Smurf movies, but I mean I've seen some of
the other stuff she's done. What are the other things
home It was a long time ago, so it's a
it's an older movie, but I really like that one. Okay,
well she was just she was just she was okay,
a smurf fat like just okay.

Speaker 3 (34:21):
Now, the one casting that bugged me in this movie.
And it's interesting because James Corden is in it, and
I love James Corden's voice, you know, like the Trolls
movies and stuff.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
James Corden's all over that.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
But that's all I can think about he's voicing a
character in this and I'm like, wait, this is the
guy you're thinking of, like the character he doesn't troll
and in the Trolls movie is also an animated movie
with little characters, and here's these little Smurf characters and
then there's the little Trolls characters and here's James Corden's voice.

Speaker 6 (34:47):
Again.

Speaker 3 (34:47):
It's like, his voice is great, it's awesome. He's so good.
But why he shouldn't have been in this one? It's
too too much? Like it threw me off because I'm like,
am I watching Trolls? Am I watching Smurfs? What am
I watching here?

Speaker 6 (35:00):
I don't know?

Speaker 2 (35:01):
And as a as a whole movie is just I
guess the problem is do you do you remember watching
the Smurfs cartoon as a kid? Nope?

Speaker 6 (35:09):
Me neither.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
And I just kind of feel like, what did they
do to almost like re educate you almost have to
re educate the audience, Like what are the Smurfs?

Speaker 2 (35:18):
I don't even know? I know what they are, but like,
but I never.

Speaker 3 (35:23):
Watched the show, but I just don't feel like they
did a good enough job of like because here you
have a new audience young kids, they have no clue
who the Smurfs are, and maybe their parents do because
maybe their parents watched it when they were a kid.

Speaker 6 (35:35):
But I just feel like they missed.

Speaker 3 (35:36):
It's almost like my wife said, she's like they should
have made this movie about ten years ago, because then
all the parents there with young kids definitely would have
remembered watching the Smurfs. Now you're getting to parents with
young kids like me, like, I'm sure I watched the
Smurfs maybe as a kid.

Speaker 2 (35:49):
I have very honest, zero desire to move.

Speaker 6 (35:52):
I don't have much memory of them. And then they didn't.

Speaker 3 (35:55):
I feel like in the movie you really had to
educate people, like what are the Smurfs?

Speaker 2 (35:59):
You know?

Speaker 3 (36:00):
So what I had to give the backs? You know, No,
they just went straight into the story and all that,
you know, the Smurfs. A's smurfing, you know, And it
was just kind of like I needed you almost need
to bring the audience along a little.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
Bit because kids wouldn't really care. They're just there to
like to watch, just to watch it. They don't care
about the back story.

Speaker 3 (36:16):
I'll say that if you have young kids, it's kind
of like, here's just your other anny old animated movie.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
They're going to have fun. Yeah, they're going to enjoy it.
So they take away us. Did we have a great
time in the movies?

Speaker 3 (36:25):
Sure we did, but I just say I had some
questions about some of it looking at it with through
a critical lens, like down, but also even I like, again,
I know who the Smurfs are, but I could have
used a little like re education myself, like I don't
know see that.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
I can see that, and so the movie is going
to do really bad. I just you missed it, Jess.
You were on the phones with our with Joseph our
winner for Yep Nope game. He said, there was like
eight people in the theater.

Speaker 6 (36:53):
I went to the.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
Society that's opening day, right, and the theater almost and.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
Adam, out of ten, what do you give it six?
I feel like that's generous. That's a very generous.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine, Good Morning
jav Show.

Speaker 14 (37:12):
We are we're talking.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
We're just talking way too long about the Smarts.

Speaker 4 (37:18):
We're talking way too long about these smurfs.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
Graham, let it go.

Speaker 7 (37:25):
Let it go.

Speaker 6 (37:27):
Well, excuse me and me.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
I guess we can just play more sabraina carpenter Instead,
I thought talking about one of the most anticipated movies
that was hyped up for the summer, starring none other
than Rihanna, kind of fit with what we talked about
talking tonight.

Speaker 2 (37:39):
We're talking too long. Stop let it go.

Speaker 14 (37:42):
Marie jv show, The Small Super Roman City. I just
wanted to say thank you guys again. Put the tickets
to Katy Perry on Friday. Shout out to the other
winners that we're sitting with up in the rafters. It
was actually a really good show. My daughter had a blast,
and I'm actually a Katy Perry fan.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
Again.

Speaker 14 (37:59):
I think I didn't dislike her, but I never would
have went to that if I had not won the tickets.
She put on a really great show. Poor thing almost
fell off of the butterfly in the guy.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
Oh yeah, let's talk about that mishap next. I mean, now,
you know, you need.

Speaker 12 (38:17):
To know what's hot in music, movies, shows, and the
most talked about stories happening today in the Bay.

Speaker 5 (38:24):
And Trending is sponsored by the New Thought Provoking Exhibition
at the Exploratorium Adventures in Ai now through September fourteenth.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
Yeah, so Katie Perry almost fell off her flying prop
at Chase Center. You can see this video if you
weren't there at the concert. It's on our Instagram story
jab Morning Show. So she performed Friday night at Chase.
During her song rore, she rides this mechanical like butterfly
thing that floats above the audience. So she's like up there,
up there, and then all of a sudden, it kind
of dropped a little bit. And I know, I know

(38:52):
she's all hooked up to chords and stuff, so I
don't think she would have actually have fallen, but you
could still fall off the butterfly and you would have
been like just dangly loading around. I guess. Yeah. It
scared her because she stopped singing for a minute and
you can see like how tense she got, and then
she had to regain her composure before continuing the song.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
Well did look a little scary, mostly for the people
sitting below it, because that thing crowd like you're going
to injure a bunch of people, yes, And when that
thing like lurches, I mean, I'm you know, like you said,
she's got a separate safety wire going, but you don't.

Speaker 2 (39:23):
In that moment you're thinking everything is snapping, you know,
like everything is about to drop. That would be so scary.

Speaker 3 (39:29):
It does look like she from all the video that
we've seen and you know, of her tour so far
and this stop here at Chasinger, it does look like
she puts on a really incredible show, Like there is
just a lot going on big and like the production
of it is huge. You wonder like, would people's take
away from the concert be the same without all that,
you know, if it was a little more like stripped

(39:51):
down and not like so many effects and stuff like that.
I don't mean they've done a good job.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
Whatever they're doing, Yeah, because people take away or like, wow,
it's a really good show. Yeah, I don't think they'd
have the same take away if it wasn't for everything.

Speaker 5 (40:03):
It is very elaborate, and I think it is It
has always been her brand to go as extra as
she has, so I think people would.

Speaker 2 (40:09):
Be really surprised if she didn't do that. All right,
did you guys hear about the Stampede after one of
Beyonce's shows.

Speaker 6 (40:15):
Nope?

Speaker 2 (40:16):
So last week she was performing in Atlanta. She did
a few shows there. Well, just after midnight Tuesday morning,
everybody is still like making their way out, you know,
trying to get home. They have you know, they have
like their version of bart there, so the stations are
filled up. Well, a ten year old girl saw a
bug summer, saying she saw like a cockroach. I don't
know exactly, but she sees this bug scares the heck

(40:38):
out of her. She let out this huge scream, and
that scream startled everyone that it caused a stampede injuring
at least eleven people because this was you know, at
the train station, and so you're having to go, like
you use an escalator, so everyone's like running and stampeding
and piling onto this escalator, which caused the escalator to malfunction,
like it sped up and then just stop suddenly. So

(41:00):
people were like falling all over each other, and one
person broke their ankle. Seven people had to be transported
to the hospital with various you know cuts and scrapes,
and two people one person declined transport to a hospital,
but then two more people made it home and then
reached out for medical help. Yeah, that's it's all the
type of a bug. A little girl saw a bug,

(41:22):
isn't that crazy? But the thing is, once one person
starts panicking. You join. You don't know why, scared, right,
I get it, especially late at night. I would have
ran too.

Speaker 6 (41:33):
I would find out later. It's like it was an ant.

Speaker 2 (41:38):
All right, Graham, do you have all right?

Speaker 6 (41:39):
Will Bay Area summer ever arrive?

Speaker 3 (41:42):
It just seems to continue to have cool and mild
weather here week after week, all while the majority of
the rest of the country has had just crazy weather.
And now they're bracing to be baked under yet another
scorching heat dome event. I've been wondering what the science
says about this. It has it, in fact been a
wake cooler summer than previous summers, And the answer is yes.

(42:04):
SFO has recorded an average maximum temperature of just sixty
seven degrees between June first and July fifteenth, making it
the coldest start to a summer since nineteen sixty five.
In the city of San Francisco, not much different, they say,
the marine layer fog has just kept everything so so cool.
The city has only had one day where the temperature
has reached seventy degrees since late May.

Speaker 6 (42:26):
That's pretty crazy.

Speaker 3 (42:27):
Elsewhere San Jose, thirty eight out of the first forty
five days of summer, we're cooler than the same dates
in twenty twenty four, and as we look ahead in
the extended forecast this morning, the cool weather just continues.
I looked at Napa where I live, and the highest
forecasted temperature I see is seventy nine degrees and that's
next Monday.

Speaker 6 (42:47):
We're talking low seventies all the way through a Napa very.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
Characteristically is always you know, it's a little more inland,
and it's the valley, and it's just I mean for July.
You're telling me July, and the highest temperature I see
in a ten day forecast is seventy nine degrees. What
in the world is happening? We're gonna make it all
the way through July. I mean that pushes us right
into the end of July without seeing any sort of
like major heat wave or anything like that.

Speaker 6 (43:14):
Is August gonna be the same?

Speaker 2 (43:15):
Or are we gonna wait all the way till September?

Speaker 6 (43:17):
October?

Speaker 3 (43:18):
I mean, we do see really hot weather in the
fall here, and that's our most dangerous fire season, but like,
is it gonna arrive like then?

Speaker 2 (43:26):
And then September we're like, oh man, remember when it was.

Speaker 6 (43:29):
Nice and cool?

Speaker 2 (43:30):
This sucks? It's one hundred and it's been so windy too.
It's been windy, it's cold. I haven't even been able
to go use my hotel pool, like your hotel pool,
the one that you sneak into. Yeah, it's been very
fall vibe so far.

Speaker 3 (43:45):
And like we talked about earlier, Pumpkin spice s lattes
coming back to Starbucks August twenty six. I think we're
gonna be bundled up wearing scarves by then. It's gonna
be freezing and we'll be ready for pumpkin spies.

Speaker 2 (43:54):
Interesting. All right, I'm next on the JV Show. I
gotta tell you guys about this scary thing that happen
to me when I was at Target the other day.
I think somebody was following me, But I'll tell you
about it next.

Speaker 1 (44:05):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four.

Speaker 2 (44:07):
Nine, Wild thinty four nine. We are the JV Show.
I'm Selena Groom and I'm Jess. Before it get to
this super scary thing that happened to me at Target, Jess,
would you mind telling everyone how they can win tickets
for the Giant?

Speaker 5 (44:17):
Oh my gosh, super easy. Just leave us a talk
back right now. On the free a Heart radio app
letting us know who you would take with you to
the game. They're gonna be taking on the Pirates on
July twenty ninth at Oracle Park and that will.

Speaker 2 (44:28):
Enter you to win four tickets.

Speaker 5 (44:29):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (44:30):
Sorry, so good luck. Okay. So the other day, I
am at Target and we're just, you know, walking through
a couple of aisles and I'm trying to like, I
have all my kids with me. My oldest is thirteen,
I have two toddlers, and so you know, we're trying
to like control them and wrangle them, and they're obviously
like walking off and doing all this stuff. And then
my daughter goes, why is that guy following us? And immediately,

(44:51):
you guys, my heart just like dropped. I'm like, what guy?
Because literally, like that morning, I had seen a video
of a woman. I don't know what part of the
country this was in, but it was a woman at
Target and she was like recording a guy that was
following her. And she said she was like every aisle
that we went in, that guy was there, not buying anything,

(45:12):
just like pretending to browse, but he was like tailing us, like,
and we went to different sections on purpose to see
if he would follow us there, and like he'd go
to like the toy.

Speaker 6 (45:20):
Section, mustache with a fake nose.

Speaker 2 (45:23):
I don't know what this guy was wearing. I don't remember,
but she was like everywhere we went around the store,
like he would follow us there, and just like, you know,
look in the same aisle that we were at, and
she said, then all of a sudden, he disappeared, and
she's like she started freaking out because she was like,
is he waiting for me outside? Like men will target
women that I buy themselves with kids, and I had
just seen this video and like that woman. She ended

(45:44):
up calling her husband to go to the Target store
and like walk her to her car. And so I'm
thinking all this man as my daughter is like, Mom,
there's a guy following us here, and I'm like, what guy.
I didn't even notice anybody else because I'm my focus
is on my kids, keeping them, you know, with me.
She's like, there's a guy. He's wearing like a like

(46:04):
a face mask, like one of those COVID masks. Yeah,
he's wearing a mask. And I'm like, what the hell.
So we walked to a different section. Sure enough, that
guy is there, and now that I'm aware that this
guy has been following us for who knows how long,
and maybe he wasn't. I don't, I don't know, but
you're following him. No, no, But my daughter's saying that

(46:26):
was enough for me, Like, I'm glad she noticed because
I wasn't. But now that I was onto him when
he walked by, I was like, that guy, that's the guy.
Stared him down, never saw him. I didn't touch him,
but I never saw him again. Oh my gosh, does
this scary? Sary that you weren't like I guess because
you were.

Speaker 5 (46:46):
You're obviously alert, but you're more alert on like trying
to trying to make sure that your kids are right
there with you. But then it's like it's you have
so much to I guess control.

Speaker 2 (46:54):
You have to think.

Speaker 5 (46:55):
About your kids, but then you also have to think
about like you're.

Speaker 2 (46:57):
Not arounding him everyone else exactly, And it's really scary.
A lot of times I'll let my daughter go off
to a different section to go grab whatever she wants
and that, and that day I was like, I put
the kids in the car. I was like, no, everyone needs.

Speaker 3 (47:07):
To, like hang on your daughter who's thirteen, you set
them all in the car together.

Speaker 6 (47:11):
Everyone's staying in this car.

Speaker 2 (47:13):
I was like, you are not walking off anywhere, And
part of me was afraid. After he disappeared and I
didn't see him again, all because of that video I saw.
I'm like, oh my god, is he waiting outside for me?

Speaker 8 (47:21):
Now?

Speaker 2 (47:22):
I was. I was like so spooked.

Speaker 6 (47:25):
Haven't you ever had this situation though?

Speaker 3 (47:27):
Like it happens to me every time I go to Costco,
because everybody goes up and down almost every aisle. It's
just sort of their routine, you like, just so you
don't miss something, you know, sometimes they move stuff in
different places, and I'll be circling the aisle and each
time I come around the corner down at the other
end of the aisle as the same person, and then
we cross each other's pass, and then we go to
the next aisle, we cross each other's pass again, and
so on and so forth, and we just keep doing

(47:49):
that throughout the store. I'm not stalking that person and
they're not stalking me. Our shopping paths just keep overlapping.
Could it have been a scenario like that or do
you think it wasn't Getting full creepy vibes from this guy, I.

Speaker 2 (48:02):
Was getting full creepy vibes. He was there by himself.
He was wearing this.

Speaker 6 (48:04):
Mask during COVID. I was wearing the mask.

Speaker 2 (48:07):
I wasn't going in in every aisle. I was there
just getting things that I specifically needed. And then the
last time I saw him, it was like in the
baby section. May I think you can tell that, but yeah,
and then you just get the vibes like I just
got weird. But now he's thinking, like, oh my god.

Speaker 5 (48:23):
This creepy lady who was was looking at me coming
to my aisle, now he thinks you were stop.

Speaker 2 (48:28):
That's fine because he left me alone after that.

Speaker 3 (48:31):
And here's my here's also my next question, because what if,
for example, this guy was interested in you, not for
trafficking purposes, but he wanted to ask you out or something.

Speaker 6 (48:40):
He's like, Wow, there's a really cute.

Speaker 3 (48:43):
You know, he's hoping single mom there and maybe he
has some kids and a single dad and he wants to,
you know, engage a conversation with you and hopes that
he's going to bump into you and you guys could
both be reaching for the pampers at the same time.
There's something and he could strike up a conversation. Is
it possible that maybe, you know, someone's allowed to be
interested in somebody in that way in the store. I mean,
albeit it probably comes off that was.

Speaker 2 (49:04):
Definitely not the case with this, but I'm sure that
does happen. But so my advice to anyone just don't
be creepy.

Speaker 3 (49:12):
But here's my next question then, because on the don't
be creepy if this gentleman was incredibly handsome, because we
know that the line for ladies between creep and and
not creepy is just how good they look.

Speaker 2 (49:24):
Because the creepy if it was Michael B. Jordan following
me in Target, like, I would not have been scared. Okay,
there you go. That's I'm just I just like, let's
just call it. What but this but this wasn't. This
was actually really scary.

Speaker 3 (49:35):
For me because creepy guy at the gym, if he
was incredibly handsome, is not creepy guy at the gym.
He's hawk eye at the gym. If he's not attractive,
he's creepy guy at the gym. Stn't don't look at me.

Speaker 2 (49:44):
Start.

Speaker 5 (49:44):
There is a double standard, and it's scary because nowadays,
although you know, we wouldn't want it to be this way.
Anybody who is like kind of staring a little too long,
you start to worry.

Speaker 3 (49:56):
I think, no, I agree, the stuff you see on
social media, I'd be terrified to be a woman out
by myself at dark or even well even in broad
daylight in some instances like it's very I don't know,
we've all been just from the stuff, from stuff we
see in the news and stuff like that. I mean,
you do have to be you have to have your
head on a swivel as a woman like you need
to be alert and aware of your surroundings, right, I

(50:17):
mean that, yes, more than ever.

Speaker 2 (50:19):
Right, So all right, but I'm here. I scared that
guy off. Okay, good, All is good.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine, Happy Monday.

Speaker 2 (50:28):
Thanks so much for hanging out with us. I'm Selina
Groom and I'm just a JV's show.

Speaker 9 (50:31):
Is Here's a freemont Selena. It's funny you say that
story because I met you at Walmart like five years ago.
I remember our spasdoo asking for a picture, and then
after that we're walking the same aisle like two or
three times, and I just remember just saying Damn, this
is embarrassing. I should just never have said anything. Okay,

(50:53):
everybody is.

Speaker 3 (50:56):
Selena, As you shared your tale from what you thought
was somebody very creepy kind of stalking and lurking around
you at the store and target. Could have been that
it was just a JV show listener wanting to too
maybe too shy to come up and say hi.

Speaker 6 (51:10):
But they were just kind of observing you in the store.

Speaker 2 (51:13):
Of course, of course it could be. But I think
it's all about the vibes. If it even like weirded
out my daughter, and she's used to people coming up
and like hi, like wanting to talk or like take
a picture or whatever. But even she got weirded out,
which like weirded out me even more. I don't know,
it's just the vibes that you get from somebody you
gotta trust.

Speaker 11 (51:30):
The Yeah Hi, JV Show Sarah from Hayward. You guys
are just talking about the weather. I haven't seen rain
in a while, and I know, like oftentimes it gets
kind of missy over here in Hayward. But the fact
that it's sprinkling right now, I'm going I'm going from
I'm passing Castro Valley trailing east And yeah, I took

(51:54):
me by surprise, right.

Speaker 2 (51:55):
Now, How we're not kidding a summer? We're not.

Speaker 6 (51:58):
It has been canceled this year.

Speaker 3 (51:59):
Do you think she's experiencing sprinkles or do you think
that's fag gizzle?

Speaker 2 (52:02):
I think it's fall gizzle. Yeah, I think it's what
I experienced a lot of fall gizzle. All right, So, oh,
I have bad news you guys.

Speaker 5 (52:10):
What not that you guys really care about what gen
zers think because you guys are millennials. But gen zers
think that you are old once you reached this specific
age and that is thirty five years old.

Speaker 13 (52:27):
Wow old, thirty five years old.

Speaker 2 (52:31):
I know, we still got a ways to go. Wow,
So you guys still feel pretty young then. I mean
I remember I remember being like turning twenty one, and
I was like, oh my god, anybody who's over the
age of like twenty six, twenty seven, you're still in clubs,
Like come on, like too old for that. Like you
always think that when you're.

Speaker 3 (52:49):
Younger, you always push the goalpost, always just keeps getting
pushed back and back and back. And I mean, yeah,
you tell somebody when I think about back when you
were a kid and you're like, by the time mom,
twenty three, I'm gonna be married.

Speaker 6 (53:01):
I'm gonna have it, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (53:03):
You get to twenty three, You're like, I don't even
I barely even know how to pay my own cell
phone bill.

Speaker 5 (53:07):
I know, honestly, in your mid twenties, I'm like, I
should have started saving when I was in fifth grade,
and then I would have had a.

Speaker 2 (53:14):
House right now. But I clearly did not do that.

Speaker 5 (53:16):
But it's funny you mentioned twenty seven, Selena, because twenty
seven is another significant age where some gen z ors
do think, like, once you reach that age, it's kind
of like an old age marker is twenty seven something,
thirty five somethin forty is the true marker of elderliness.

Speaker 2 (53:34):
Oh my goliness thing.

Speaker 5 (53:38):
So I mean, when I was younger, I also didn't
think that when I got to my cause I'm thirty
right now and I'm thirty show.

Speaker 2 (53:48):
I'll admit it. I'll admit it. That's fine. I still
feel young. I feel younger than thirty.

Speaker 5 (53:52):
But when I was younger, I didn't think that in
my thirties I would be seeing like my friends get
gray hair already, and like people starting to get gray
hair for some reason. When I was young, I was like, oh,
you don't get great hair though, you're like the elderly.

Speaker 2 (54:07):
No, thirty is elderly now according to Jen b.

Speaker 5 (54:11):
So I am scared because I still have not found
any knock on wood everybody. But you know, I know
it's gonna come eventually, and I'm likedy to give.

Speaker 6 (54:19):
Justice has like a fool like like we're looking for life,
just like Coleman.

Speaker 2 (54:23):
Head over here, Jesse.

Speaker 6 (54:24):
Yeah, and then we'll see. I bet we can find one.

Speaker 14 (54:26):
Now.

Speaker 2 (54:27):
Stop, I'm not ready for that. I'm not ready for
the elderliness. This is depressing. I know this is depressing now.
I mean I'm only twenty six and a half gram
you're twenty seven. But now to know what people think
of us when we're out at like wild events. Yeah,
and I got I got hell of gray hair. Now
it's fluent, you know, having kid stress of having kids,
and I blame in the house, Oh god, and I

(54:48):
blame I blame work and work stress.

Speaker 5 (54:51):
There you go cause me to go grend Graham, you
won't ever consider like dyeing your hair.

Speaker 2 (54:55):
No, I've already I asked him that, like every month
he'll never do it.

Speaker 6 (54:59):
I'm gonna age graceful, get distinguished.

Speaker 2 (55:01):
Well, you try it once it temporary, We can do
it temporary, die that way, come out, just to see
what you look like like the powder? Can we do that?
Just like it?

Speaker 3 (55:09):
Then it's something else to have to maintain. I don't
need more things in my life that need upkeep.

Speaker 2 (55:14):
But you don't have anything else to maintain. What do
guys do?

Speaker 3 (55:17):
I'm just talking about life in general, Like I'm just
busy and being a dad and all the stuff that
you know, And it's like, I don't need one more thing.
And I'm like, oh and today's a Sunday, I gotta
redye my hair, so don't Why don't.

Speaker 2 (55:29):
We just do the one that comes out after a
few washes. You don't have to do it again, just
to kind of test it out, see what you think?

Speaker 6 (55:36):
I'm not Ryan Seacrest, I just don't care.

Speaker 2 (55:37):
Gram please shots fired at Ryan.

Speaker 3 (55:40):
Well, he looks incredibly young, he's he's done a great job,
very beautiful.

Speaker 2 (55:43):
Can we just try it once, mean Gram? And we
can do it before and after? Yeah? Before, I just like,
don't you do you sometimes judge men that when clearly
their hair has dyed. No, you don't know. I feel
like it probably gives them a whole new level of confidence.
That's what it does for me.

Speaker 3 (56:04):
I just think there's a very fine line. Like women,
it's tough to tell that your hair is colored, right,
I can't.

Speaker 2 (56:08):
Say for men, No, it's not. It's so easy to spot.
It's very easy to say, well, we should try it
on you and see if people can spot it.

Speaker 3 (56:16):
They will be able to let's us try it. Yes,
she doesn't want to try it.

Speaker 6 (56:19):
This guy k.

Speaker 2 (56:20):
Here, all right, just at least think about it.

Speaker 1 (56:24):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.

Speaker 2 (56:27):
We have the JV Show. We were just talking about
aging because gen Z thinks what was the age thirty five?
Thirty five was on your officially old. Some even have
said twenty seven. Yeah, yeah, yeah, doesn't make us feel great.
We're here, Good morning, JV Show.

Speaker 14 (56:41):
It's Bronte fer Martinez. I missed you guys so much.

Speaker 2 (56:45):
I was in a bachelorette party this weekend in San Diego.
I'm thirty three years old.

Speaker 4 (56:49):
No shame in that.

Speaker 5 (56:50):
And oh my gosh, a girl cannot drop it on
the dance floor like she did when she was twenty one.

Speaker 2 (56:56):
My thighs were tired, my knees were hurting.

Speaker 5 (56:58):
By midnight, I was ready to turn back into whatever
pumpkin and just be.

Speaker 4 (57:04):
Done with it.

Speaker 2 (57:05):
So, yeah, I get it. Fair is fair, that's one
of them. That's you can't party like it used to it.
I'm still hurting now from Saturday.

Speaker 6 (57:16):
Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (57:17):
Oh, I can't take it. We were trying to convince
Graham to uh dye his.

Speaker 7 (57:22):
Hair JD's show, Happy Monday. I hope you guys had
a wonderful weekend.

Speaker 14 (57:29):
Graham.

Speaker 7 (57:29):
There's no need to dye your hair. Men look so
handsome with their with their grace, like you said, they're
very distinguished. I refuse to die my hair simply because
I'm too lazy to maintain it. So I too will
age gracefully. Have a great day, guys.

Speaker 2 (57:50):
Bye, Hey, thank you for that. Yeah, it is it's
not fair, men can it's it's more acceptable.

Speaker 3 (57:57):
I had I just like like she said, she said,
she'll never die your hair because she's too lazy to
maintain it. My thing is, you guys know my shower
and like getting ready routine. It's one bar of soap
and then I brushed my teeth and that's it, you know.

Speaker 2 (58:12):
What I mean, moisturizer at all.

Speaker 3 (58:14):
No, I don't need to add anything to the routine.
You know, two swipes of the deodor and stick and
I'm out. You know, I don't want to be in there,
like let me touch up my roots, Like I don't
have time for that.

Speaker 10 (58:25):
Hey, JV show. This is Angel from Hayward. I used
to do hair for a long time and I had
a lot of male clients for getting color. The one
thing that I recommended for clients who were nervous about
dyeing their hair was to do a demi permanent because
it washes out as you obviously wash it, and then

(58:46):
by the time you washed it a few times and
you need to touch up, it's kind of faded. So
there's not such a harsh line.

Speaker 2 (58:53):
That's what I said, get one of these. How does
that sound, Graham, I mean, obviously sounds better.

Speaker 3 (59:00):
I just think like when you see men that have
dyed their hair, particularly in the sunlight, it's just so unmistakable.

Speaker 2 (59:08):
You're just like, oh, I know what's happening there. And
also why are all these guys, like you know, these
NFL announcers and stuff they're like seventy years old than
they have not a single grade.

Speaker 3 (59:17):
It's like, what are you doing? Like make it look nat?
Can't you blend it a little bit? Make it look
somewhat natural? These guys like it looks ridiculous. I know
you're not seventy without gray hair, like.

Speaker 6 (59:26):
It just good.

Speaker 2 (59:27):
It looks stupid, like the solid color block of hair.
I'm just like, it looks so fake, Like what are
we doing? I don't mind that. I don't like when
the dyeing the beard is so obvious. I feel like
it's way more obvious.

Speaker 6 (59:40):
I will not be doing that.

Speaker 2 (59:41):
I just try it. You can do it.

Speaker 3 (59:42):
Demian word semini.

Speaker 2 (59:48):
That's the there's a difference, got it. I've never heard
the just how was the weekend? Guys?

Speaker 5 (59:55):
Another successful rodeo weekend in Salinas?

Speaker 6 (01:00:00):
What the hell is out again?

Speaker 5 (01:00:01):
The California Wheredale Selenas comes once a year in July.
It starts on Wednesday, ends on Sunday. So it's like
a full on week of just partying, drinking and taking
out some rodeo events.

Speaker 3 (01:00:12):
But it is actually centered around there's like live rodeo events.

Speaker 5 (01:00:17):
Right, So on Wednesday they have PBR Professional Ball Writing,
and then every single day they have different types of
events for entertainment purposes, and then there are different tents
that you can go into for drinking purposes. Where I
was in that's the when I was in this year,
tamar and vodka was my go to.

Speaker 2 (01:00:38):
You guys have tried it, right, that sounds delicious. Wait.
I don't like vodka though.

Speaker 5 (01:00:42):
But no, okay, I'm the same way. I'm at the
Killa Girl. But the Smirnoff tamar In vodka, Oh my gosh.
You pair that with pineapple juice the best, so it
doesn't it doesn't taste like you're drinking any alcohol. It
literally just tastes like you're If you like Mexican candy,
you'll that, So try it if you haven't already. I
didn't throw up, which was a win in my book.

Speaker 3 (01:01:05):
Really yeah, oh yeah, like it happen any minute though. Yeah,
it's probably bottled up. It's gotta it's gotta come out suthing.

Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
It's going to be awful for me.

Speaker 5 (01:01:14):
No, But I had told myself I was only going
to do two drinks because it really doesn't.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
Take much for me to feel the alcohol. Ian lightly
to drinks. No, I did it, that's right. But I
didn't throw up because I was like, yeah. I literally
before going I told my fiance, I was like, you
know what, I think, I'm only going to do two drinks.

Speaker 5 (01:01:30):
I really I don't want to spend that much money
and I really don't need that much.

Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
And then yeah, I did it. Yeah, I do the
same thing, like I just need to have two drinks.
I don't need to wake up feeling hungover tomorrow. And
every time it's like you get around a group of
people and it's like show and then after two it's
like it might as well be nothing because you don't.

Speaker 3 (01:01:48):
Feel it, and then you go to fourteen and then
I say, you know, death Machine.

Speaker 5 (01:01:53):
We also had the Mountain Dew Baha Blost Blost Baha,
Blast Blast Blast.

Speaker 2 (01:02:03):
Blast, Seltzer's have you guys tried those? Also really good?
Really but again doesn't take that can wheel like, oh yeah,
that'd be cool. I will get some.

Speaker 5 (01:02:19):
But we definitely went a little too hard on Friday,
so for Saturday, we didn't get up to like one pm.
Still made it though late, but we still made it
to Saturday. Dal I will say on Friday mainly I did.

Speaker 13 (01:02:31):
Feel a lot of judgment walking around because my outfit,
I guess was a little revealing.

Speaker 5 (01:02:37):
It was a little cold that day, so I don't
know if people were with a hedge on me because
of that. No, but I was wearing I was wearing
like short leather shorts and halter top.

Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
That was I guess. It showed my whole back, So
I was a little revealing.

Speaker 5 (01:02:51):
So I was I actually felt a little self conscious
for a babe, because.

Speaker 6 (01:02:56):
What else is wearing a jacket?

Speaker 2 (01:02:59):
When I thought there, I was like, oh my god,
is nobody like did we not? Did I not get
the same memo? Like hello, this is like our Selena's
Mechala we always dress up for, you know, like like
nobody else was well not at first, so I was like,
I think it's.

Speaker 5 (01:03:19):
You know, they'd like to enter like our red carpets
moving here like I'm standing there like, oh my gosh,
did I did I not make the right choice?

Speaker 3 (01:03:27):
Are we?

Speaker 11 (01:03:27):
Like?

Speaker 5 (01:03:27):
Did I? Are we not doing the same thing that
we have done every single other People were like staring
at you. I felt like the older people were like
they were looking at me like Okay, this girl like
thinks she's all that or like thinks she can wear
like something revealing on a cold day while all of
us are like bundled up.

Speaker 3 (01:03:45):
The judgment comes from the ladies, to be fair, it's
not the guys. The guys for different that's.

Speaker 5 (01:03:50):
Okay, Yeah, yeah, that's that's a good point though.

Speaker 2 (01:03:53):
Yeah, it was a lot of a little older. Okay,
are we gonna see the outfit? Oh yeah, we'll post
that with our photos from home. Okay.

Speaker 5 (01:04:00):
But they also did the kiss camp and the Rodeo
mascot because we do have a mascot obviously what is it?

Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
It's a giant hat.

Speaker 3 (01:04:13):
Mascot's name they did?

Speaker 1 (01:04:17):
I don't know if he has a name.

Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
Yeah, they recreated the cold Play kiss cam it. Yeah,
so that was fun too. It was just all around
good weekend, you guys. But I love that.

Speaker 13 (01:04:30):
I love that they recreated that everybody everybody is Selena.

Speaker 2 (01:04:33):
You were invited to the Selena's michel. Wow this weekend
for boys? That sheets back, all right. I still can't
get over that the rodeo is a rodeo, Like, make
it makes sense?

Speaker 3 (01:04:48):
Why how because it's a rodeo.

Speaker 6 (01:04:52):
But we're like, we're not going to call it a rodeo.

Speaker 5 (01:04:54):
We're going to call it a rodeo, right because it's
the California rode I know, but it's just I don't
get it.

Speaker 2 (01:05:01):
It's it's not for you to get Graham. I Knowalla
hottest thing.

Speaker 12 (01:05:08):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the Bay.

Speaker 2 (01:05:16):
A couple of things on Kylie Jenner. Okay, so, first,
people are slamming her latest fashion campaign. They're calling it
her worst photo shoot ever. She posts for Mumu's latest campaign.
You can check out you know, uh one of the
photos on our Instagram story. Go to Jamie Morning Show.
Yeah pokemon, I hope I'm saying that right. It sounds
like a pokemon. Maybe it is, No, but this is

(01:05:36):
some I don't know fashion brand. Fans are looking at
these pictures and they're calling out her dead eyes, and
I have to agree, Kylie Jenner has dead eyes at
least in this photo shoot. Like, no, did know those
are different ice? Oh? Got it? Yeah, you can't say yet.
These are dead eyes, like there's nothing behind it. She's

(01:05:58):
just looking. She's just there and they're like, what's with
the board face like really on, Yeah, it's kind of I'm.

Speaker 6 (01:06:07):
Completely locking a soul.

Speaker 2 (01:06:09):
You're right, Yeah, she has dead eyes. I feel like
she's looked like this before.

Speaker 8 (01:06:13):
Though.

Speaker 2 (01:06:13):
I thought this was just fashion. I thought's how you're
supposed to lie.

Speaker 3 (01:06:16):
Yeah, I thought you always when you're a high fashion model.
I thought you were always supposed to look like very
annoyed and like that.

Speaker 6 (01:06:24):
Smiling.

Speaker 2 (01:06:26):
Sometimes you do have to smile though, smiling. But she's
not smising here, right, He's just this is like, Hi,
I'm way too rich for you to even look at me. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:06:36):
Also, there's nothing going on inside my brain.

Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
I don't know. That's what it looks like, though, if
you want to go check out the photo Jamie Morning Show.
The other thing really quick, Kylie was in Greece and
she went to this restaurant called Tasia. I don't know,
I'm probably pronouncing it wrong, but she took a picture
with the family that owns it, and the owner was
online just gushing about Kylie going to the restaurant. He said,
quote an iconic entrepreneur and global trendsetter. She experienced a

(01:06:59):
taste of our Greek hospitality in cuisine and calls it.
He calls it a true pleasure to host such a
remarkable guest and it was an honor and now he
really was gushing. Yeah, and now people are calling for
a boycott that restaurant on No because because she's showing
such special treatment to her and like, FANGI like, uh,
do you treat every guest like this? Oh?

Speaker 6 (01:07:20):
But we know celebrities get different treatments.

Speaker 2 (01:07:21):
They do.

Speaker 5 (01:07:22):
And if I was a restaurant owner, I'm sorry, but yeah,
if a celebrity comes out reaction.

Speaker 3 (01:07:27):
It still always bugs me that the richest people, the rich,
famous people, don't pay for their meals. Yeah, when they
are the ones that can actually afford it. The rest
of us norms never get called meal because they're.

Speaker 2 (01:07:38):
Just trying to survive. Right anyways, Yeah, but fans did
not like that. They're calling for a boycott, Graham. Let's
get to this whale count, all right. Get your San
Francisco Bay dead whale tracking scorecards out if you are
scoring at home, and I think you are. Unfortunately, a
week or so ago, we had yet another gray whale
wash up here in the Bay, this one in Richmond

(01:07:59):
near the Richmond Sarah Bridge, and it died from what
looks like in apparent ship strike. So got probably didn't
hit the crosswalk button and then a boat does mashed
right into it.

Speaker 3 (01:08:10):
Well, sadly that brains are doing. Don't make me laugh, Lena,
this is a sad story. Well sadly. That brings our
current total to twenty one dead gray whales. That's the
most we've seen here in the Bay area since the
year two thousand. This is not a good sign, especially
because the gray whale population as a whole has continued
to decline. They estimate that they're only around thirteen thousand

(01:08:32):
left in the wild, which is the lowest number counted
since the nineteen seventies.

Speaker 6 (01:08:37):
So we have a population already in decline. We have
twenty one, oh my, dead wales.

Speaker 3 (01:08:43):
I'll say this, hopefully there won't be any more, because
it's very late in the migration season now and most
of the there's not many gray whale sightings at all
anymore anywhere near the bay. So hopefully you know the
pod of wales about to say, I was about to say,
heard pods of whales have moved.

Speaker 2 (01:09:02):
On and so we won't be seeing anymore.

Speaker 11 (01:09:05):
But we know.

Speaker 3 (01:09:06):
The one thing we do know is that yes, we've
had twenty one dead gray wales, but there's also been
a couple of other types of whale that have washed
up here this season. So I'm not sure what our
total dead whale tracker is, but it's up over twenty one.

Speaker 6 (01:09:18):
I know that.

Speaker 2 (01:09:19):
Oh my god, that's so much.

Speaker 6 (01:09:20):
Is not good you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Hopefully this will be the end of it, because what
is happening.

Speaker 1 (01:09:25):
The JV show on Wild ninety four to nine.

Speaker 6 (01:09:28):
Hey, Hey, hey, good morning, team, what's going on?

Speaker 11 (01:09:30):
How y'all doing today?

Speaker 6 (01:09:31):
Happy Monday? This is ing for battle.

Speaker 2 (01:09:33):
I just had a quick, quick little comment. You know
what I've noticed every time, and I'm gonna say Selena,
but I'm not trying to point any fingers, but I'm gonna.

Speaker 8 (01:09:41):
Say Selena every time she says, go mets after you
talk about the giants, especially the giants, we lose, So
stop doing that's.

Speaker 2 (01:09:51):
That's like, no, it's not helping. Okay, we're trying to
make it make a w this time. Okay, stop saying that.

Speaker 7 (01:09:55):
It's time.

Speaker 2 (01:09:56):
I think I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:09:57):
Bye, all right.

Speaker 3 (01:09:58):
So yeah, oftentimes when we do talk about the giants,
I talked about them unfortunately getting swept by the Blue
Jays over the weekend in Toronto. I said they start
a new series today against the Braves. First pitch four fifteen,
and then slain a blurred go Mets, and it's just
become sort of a thing. But yes, Slena, do you
think you're jinxing the team by shouting out I.

Speaker 2 (01:10:17):
Thing to know is I'm not actually saying that. Graham
has a recording that he just throws in throughout the
morning whenever you want, so every time. So really it's
Graham because you're pushing the button your drinking.

Speaker 1 (01:10:29):
Mets.

Speaker 2 (01:10:29):
You just said it right now.

Speaker 6 (01:10:31):
You just did it again.

Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
No I didn't right there, No I didn't. Oh okay
you how am I? How am I overlapping myself? How
am I talking over that?

Speaker 3 (01:10:39):
You were?

Speaker 2 (01:10:39):
Yes? I was. What you're saying right now is a
recording And no, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:10:46):
Again, stop drinking.

Speaker 3 (01:10:49):
I mean, I think the giants biggest problem lately is
that they've just been it's not even us because we
didn't drink them all week and long, Like you got
to get at least one of those games from the
Blue Jays and they couldn't do that.

Speaker 6 (01:10:59):
They've been waiting lately.

Speaker 5 (01:11:00):
Brand No, but the Giants are going to be playing
the Mets soon. Are you gonna say it?

Speaker 14 (01:11:05):
Then?

Speaker 2 (01:11:06):
Selena against the saying it morning?

Speaker 3 (01:11:12):
Yeah, next Friday, August first, Giants we've taken on the
Mets and you're gonna be really in a bind there.

Speaker 2 (01:11:19):
Well, I'm not going to actually say that. Who are
you rooting for? The Giants? Obviously?

Speaker 6 (01:11:23):
Got it.

Speaker 2 (01:11:25):
Again?

Speaker 4 (01:11:28):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:11:28):
You guys Photos from home. Every Monday we bring a
picture from our weekend. You can check them out now
JV Morning Show. That's our Instagram. Make sure you guys
give us a follow. So my photo is from inside
the Sphere in Vegas. This is after the show. It
was so cool, you guys. It looks futuristic.

Speaker 13 (01:11:45):
It does.

Speaker 3 (01:11:45):
It was.

Speaker 2 (01:11:46):
It was the best concert that I have ever been to,
so much fun. God, I wish you could see more.
It's just hard. You can't get everything in a single picture,
you know. But that's just a little bit of it.

Speaker 3 (01:11:57):
How are your seats, because I've heard it can your
experience in the sphere can vary based on where you're
where you're sitting.

Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
Really, we had no we were in the middle section.
We had good seats. I heard it doesn't matter where
you sit. Every seat is a good seat.

Speaker 3 (01:12:11):
I thought if you're too far up then you can't
really get the full effect of like so everything that's
happening and wrapping around you.

Speaker 2 (01:12:19):
Maybe that's true. Yeah, I haven't heard that. I could.
I could see that maybe, but like when you go
out and buy your tickets, it lets you know, like, hey,
part of the view is obstructed here, so you just
don't want to sit like on the outside jab or
the front front front.

Speaker 3 (01:12:31):
Yeah, got it cool, but we were good. Mine's a
picture of my kids and I. This is Friday night.
We went to see the Smurfs movie. We always it's
become a tradition. I don't know why, and our kids
make us do it. They want to take a picture
with the movie poster every time. Always a picture we
take with the movie poster. If you zoom in on
my son you can see he's missing both of his.

Speaker 2 (01:12:49):
Front teeth right now.

Speaker 6 (01:12:51):
Oh my funny. Look he lost his other front two.

Speaker 2 (01:12:54):
Recent until he got twenty dollars. You said ground five
hit him with the five spot means thank you tooth
fairy for a front.

Speaker 6 (01:13:03):
The tooth Fairy had a sliding scale for the different teeth.

Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
What's a moar worth well the front ones are are
they're worth a lot?

Speaker 5 (01:13:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:13:08):
If the molars are big back there, shouldn't that be
notices those? Yeah, I didn't know there was a different scale.

Speaker 2 (01:13:15):
You guarantee at least fifteen each.

Speaker 6 (01:13:20):
Didn't do anything to do with twenty twott.

Speaker 2 (01:13:25):
More expensive these days? What is your right?

Speaker 5 (01:13:28):
All the you should hire a new tooth fairy gram,
I guess so. And then my picture is at the
California Roadeo. So, Lena's what you see in the background
is supposed to be fireworks. We tried to get a
cute picture with the fireworks.

Speaker 6 (01:13:39):
Is my fires at the stage car fireworks? Mouthun what
it looks like.

Speaker 5 (01:13:45):
But yeah, I guess I also did get some videos
of the fireworks, so I guess I'm back on.

Speaker 2 (01:13:51):
Of course that what four? Because they're so pretty?

Speaker 6 (01:13:55):
How many times you've gone back to watch them?

Speaker 5 (01:13:58):
No, I'm going to write now, got to be one
time for sure, sure, but I just can't resist.

Speaker 2 (01:14:03):
Grab. I love it. You guys look great. Let me
give back a thing. Oh you still like?

Speaker 5 (01:14:08):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:14:08):
I actually unliked it. Let me look it again. There
we go, all right, I'll make sure you check out
all of our photos. JV Morning Show on Instagram
