I think I am too.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
I've kind of been telling you guys a low key psychic.
Speaker 6 (01:04):
Anything any other predictions or things that because like in
the JV Show prediction Journal, you have zero wins.
Speaker 7 (01:10):
You just never get everything wrong.
Speaker 6 (01:12):
Any other things you got a feeling about, Maybe not
like an exact prediction about something we don't need to
know when Taylor and Travis are getting married or what
we don't care about the wedding date, but just like
a vibe you're getting about something like good news is coming,
or earthquakes about to happen, anything, just enlighten us.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
I feel like, oh no, no, this is actually good.
I feel like good news. I think that we're going
to have two four packs of Disneyland tickets to give
away every day this week.
Speaker 8 (01:37):
You're not going to believe this.
Speaker 7 (01:38):
Write that down on the prediction journal.
Speaker 9 (01:40):
You guys are not gonna believe what what we actually.
Speaker 8 (01:43):
Are giving a way shut up?

here at work, and she just predicted that.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Oh my god, it's getting.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Crazy like this is like actually scary.
Speaker 7 (02:04):

hot day? Oh the hot weather?
Speaker 6 (02:08):
What wow?
Speaker 7 (02:09):
Selena? Good for you?
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Just do you want to explain how we're giving away Disney.
Speaker 9 (02:13):
So there's actually two ways, but we'll start with the
one that is already at play. Basically, leave us a
talkback right now, letting us know why you want to
go to Disney, what you love about Disney, and this
is your chance to win four to day, one park
per day Disneyland resort tickets.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
You guys, here's the thing. This is only for like
our early listeners. We appreciate you waking up at six
am and hanging out with us, so this is only
for like our six am listeners, So leave us to
talk back, and then like six fifty we're going to
be playing the winning talkback. Do you got a four pack?
Speaker 7 (02:43):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Well yeah, because then may have another four pack at
seven thirty and said do you have nope? Game gotcha?
Speaker 10 (02:47):
And this is.
Speaker 8 (02:48):
Perfect because it's for their Halloween time.
Speaker 9 (02:50):
You guys, that's the best time of year to go
to Disney.
Speaker 6 (02:52):
Did you just predict all that stuff? The details you
just told me, Selena, because you don't know anything about Yes, that's.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
A galious guest, am I right?
Speaker 8 (02:59):
So the prediction?
Speaker 7 (02:59):
Yeah, you're right, actually right about that.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
Okay, you guys, I'm not psychic this is crazy.
Speaker 6 (03:05):
Any feelings about the Niner season, because you know, the
NFL gets underwear Thursday.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
I'm not gonna go there because I'm not going you
want to No, no, no, I didn't say that, but
I don't want to give you know, a positive prediction
and then I'm the Jinks.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Okay, but something doesn't happen.
Speaker 8 (03:22):
No, I didn't say that.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
I didn't say that.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
The JV show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 6 (03:27):
Time four the four things you need a heads up
on to start your day.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Did you guys happen to win the power Ball over
the weekend.
Speaker 7 (03:37):
Yeah, so it looks like.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
I did. Actually got tickets, Graham, Oh, I actually did
get some tickets. And yeah, nobody won that jackpot. Ten
people did win a million dollars. Two people did win.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Two million dollars.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
But now that jackpot has jumped to one point three billion.
Next drawing is on Wednesday.
Speaker 7 (03:54):
Oh, I can't wait till I win that one.
Speaker 6 (03:56):
The Giants got their serious in Colorado off to a
good start yesterday by totally power the Rockies eight to two.
Giants have been one of the hottest teams in baseball.
They won eight of their last ten games They're currently
five games out of the lost wild card spots, so
they got to keep winning if they want to catch up.
Game two of this series is tonight at five forty
Comett Nice.
Speaker 8 (04:14):
So the weather will drop a bit from what we saw.
Speaker 9 (04:17):
This weekend because it was hot, still pretty warm. Today
is going to be in the upper seventies to upper eighties.
Speaker 7 (04:23):
Paypergo, bestie, your day.
Speaker 6 (04:25):
Today is going to be an eight You're gonna find
that someone at work or maybe at school, will still
be lingering on your mind tonight. There's a reason for that,
and it is likely romance. Don't ignore these thoughts.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Those loins are a Lameman virgos good for.
Speaker 7 (04:42):
You, good for you Virgo season right now, isn't it?
Speaker 2 (04:44):
It is?
Speaker 10 (04:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Wow, I'm shocked to you that. Graham very impressed. We
were at Herbert Camp on the weekend with the family.
Let's talk about that next.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
The JV show on Wild ninety four to nine.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
A lot of talk backs, Oh, lot of talk coming
coming through. Apparently that's what be it to get people
to do, to interact with that. Disneyland tickets.
Speaker 7 (05:05):
Oh yeah, that they show up.
Speaker 8 (05:06):
Yeah, I'm like, so people are there, They're.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Just not they just don't talk to us any other time.
Speaker 6 (05:11):
Interesting hitting, but keep leaving your talkbacks if you would
like to win it.
Speaker 7 (05:15):
It's a four pack of tickets to Disneyland.
Speaker 8 (05:17):
It's a four two day, one part per day.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Heck wow, yeah, So leave those talkbacks and just why
you want to go to Disney, who you would take
with you, anything about Disney.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
So you know you're trying to win Disney.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
And then coming up six fifty, we're gonna be playing
the winning talkback here on the JMI Show. By the way,
I'm Selina and I'm just how is Herbert Camp?
Speaker 7 (05:35):
You guys? Herbert Camp was fantastic.
Speaker 11 (05:38):
Now.
Speaker 6 (05:38):
I talk about this place called Herbert Camp, and people,
I think think it's like a real resort that they
can like, Hey, I'm on I'm looking on Airbnb, and
I don't see Herbert fail anywhere. I think people think
it's a real thing. It's a it's like a best
way to describe it would be very rustic lamping, like
very rustic. And it's a place that's been in my
family for a long time. So we took the kids
up there. I talk a lot on the show when
(06:00):
I do my annual boys trip up there and we
drink like seven hundred beers and claws and a bunch
of cocktails, medicals and some other things like that. At
this trip, much different speed because this is the family trip,
and my brother and his wife came with their two kids,
and then my wife and I brought our two kids
and our dog, and so this was sort of the
you know, more family focused, fun, you know, family fun,
(06:22):
wholesome Herbert Camp trip, which was great. But this is
also the Labor Day weekend marks the end of the
Herbert Camp season, and so I had to spend most
of the you know a lot of my time out
there boarding everything up and packing it all away for
the winter.
Speaker 7 (06:35):
Because now it's good Herbert.
Speaker 6 (06:37):
Camp sits dormant until next summer, until all the way
till next summer. So that this in my mind marks
the official Despite that incredibly hot weather yesterday, it's now
summer is over.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
I feel like summer is just getting started.
Speaker 7 (06:48):
Nope, not see end for me.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
Wait, no, no, I'm not. No, I'm just getting ready.
Speaker 6 (06:52):
As soon as you board up Herbert Camp, that's it.
It's done for me. I've moved on. I'm going full fall.
The one very interesting thing to happen and at Herbert
Camp over the weekend was that I got recognized by
some listeners there no way really site well again there are.
We are not the only family that has one of
(07:13):
these sites there. There's probably I don't know fifty of
them around there, you know, so there's a whole bunch
of them. So you're you see a lot of other
people up there. And we were at the beach swimming.
It's on it's on a beautiful river, and so we
were out swimming and uh, I get out of the
water of course, and let me just tell you that
the water was very cold. It was extremely cold water.
(07:35):
So that you know the listeners they're judging. I didn't
know they were listeners. And then this woman's like, here
are you Graham, And I was like what and she's like, yeah, oh,
I listened to you guys all the time. I thought
that was you, Like, this is new. And let me
just let you know, lady, that the water is really
cold that water.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
Tell you there's freezing.
Speaker 6 (07:55):
Oh, freezing cold maysure shrinkage going on. Anyways, they're really sweet.
Megan and I think Anika for their names. Anyways, from
Livermore in Union city, so shout out to them. That
was a that was a first for me of an
Herbert camp. And then you guys, the big, big controversy
was Bogelo Joe strikes again.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Oh no, if.
Speaker 6 (08:16):
You don't know Boglo Joe, he's a mythical well some people,
I probably think he's real. He's a bit of a
legend up there at camp because the bathrooms there are
old school outhouses. I mean, like picture wooden shack over
a very deep hole.
Speaker 7 (08:31):
In the ground.
Speaker 6 (08:32):
That's what they are. They're a little rickety, and as
legend has it up there, Bogelo Joe is a guy
that lives down there in the outhouse and when you're
sitting down on the toilet, he'll reach up and grab you.
Speaker 7 (08:43):
And something.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Is Bogelo Joe a legend with just your family or
is this like know all the camp sites, all the families,
they all know about bogelog It's a good question.
Speaker 6 (08:54):
I should have asked Megan and our friends if they
know about bogalow Joe. I mean, the lore is definitely
maybe larger in our family, but I would assume other
people have had run ins with Bogelo Joe. Well, you know,
we had. My brother has two young boys, and then
I have my kids and they're young, and my son
Ford and one of my brother's kids, they didn't go
(09:16):
Number two the entire weekend?
Speaker 3 (09:19):
Are you because they were afraid of Bogelo Joe.
Speaker 6 (09:21):
They didn't want to admit they didn't want to admit it,
but we know that was why.
Speaker 7 (09:27):
And oh my god.
Speaker 6 (09:29):
That happened to my brother when we were kids and
he didn't go for an entire week. We used to
go up there for a long time during the summers
when we were kids, and he didn't go for an
entire week and he had to go to the doctor.
Speaker 7 (09:38):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
So maybe you guy should stop with the Bogelo show stuff.
Speaker 7 (09:43):
It's too good. It's too good.
Speaker 6 (09:46):
But yeah, that was the topic of conversation on the
drive back with my son Ford.
Speaker 7 (09:50):
You mean to tell me you didn't.
Speaker 6 (09:51):
Go the entire weekend? He's like, no, I didn't have to.
Oh my, that's a lot.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Didn't you guys go home and he just destroyed your
bathroom that you just built.
Speaker 6 (09:58):
Yes, yes he did. It was quite the same. You know,
it's bad when you're eight year old.
Speaker 7 (10:06):
It's like, Dad, I get.
Speaker 6 (10:08):
Some help in here, but love for dude, Like, bro,
you're eight, that did not happen. Like I've been wiping
your butt my entire life, like you're eight? Sorry, Oh
what aged?
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Can boys do that by themselves?
Speaker 2 (10:18):
I mean I only have one son, He's my first
son ever, he's only four, So I mean, how long
does this last?
Speaker 7 (10:25):
Apparently it keeps going.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
No, I can't deal.
Speaker 7 (10:27):
Yeah, I'm still in the right. I'm still in the
in the midst of.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
How hot was it up there?
Speaker 6 (10:32):
It was like probably ninety it was perfect ninety. Oh,
it's great.
Speaker 9 (10:37):
Well, it was kind of like that over here too, right,
it felt hotter in my apartment because I don't have
air conditioned.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
You don't have a C.
Speaker 9 (10:44):
I don't have AC you guys, And I was cooking
this weekend, so I'm hoping.
Speaker 6 (10:48):
Semthal is so much cooler nap. I had to have
been over one hundred yesterday. Yeah, brutal hot.
Speaker 9 (10:54):
So I'm glad that this week it's kind of like
trickling down. But the thing is, like we're just starting
with the summer weather. So I'm like gonna be over.
Speaker 7 (11:02):
I just told you I board yesterday.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
I had a pumpkin.
Speaker 8 (11:07):
You haven't. I can't.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
It was one hundred degrees.
Speaker 8 (11:10):
I went to Starbucks.
Speaker 7 (11:11):
Yeah, I got a hot one.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Yesterday, Path Behavior.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
Good Morning jav Show, Happy Tesday. How was your weekend?
You guys? Hey, I'm not mad with you, and I'm
mad at all, But the first time in history you
guys say we are not here. Literally, this is recorder,
we're not here that we see you tomorrow.
Speaker 8 (11:38):
I was nice.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
I appreciate that because you always lie. You got such
a liars and be like, oh wait here, no you're
not there.
Speaker 8 (11:46):
Come on, I'll be a good day.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Well, yesterday wasn't a full show.
Speaker 6 (11:50):
Yesterday was Labor Day, and we may be here like
everyone else take the holidays like fourth of July Labor Day,
no one else is working.
Speaker 7 (12:00):
Neither are we. And the other days when we.
Speaker 6 (12:02):
Happen to be out and we record an entire show
to their that morning. I don't know that we're actively
lying about it. We're just trying to give you a
little entertainment. Well, yes, in our app that.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
She said Graham, all right, Tuesday mornings, we turn it
over to Jest and we talked TV.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
Jess, So I watched.
Speaker 9 (12:20):
Ann Number the High School Catfish on Netflix. I am
gonna need a spoiler alert for You're gonna need like
four spoiler alerts because during that last.
Speaker 6 (12:28):
Song she spoiled it for me. She's like, how can
I say this without spoiling this?
Speaker 7 (12:33):
And then she spoiled it.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
Were you ever gonna watch it?
Speaker 2 (12:36):
No?
Speaker 7 (12:36):
Probably?
Speaker 8 (12:36):
Oh okay, there we go.
Speaker 9 (12:38):
And I'm glad you watched it, Selena, because then I'll
be able to like get your your thoughts about it.
But Graham and everybody listening, this is a documentary where
multiple high school students were being bullied through text messages
from an unknown number okay, specifically two students that were
boyfriend girlfriend.
Speaker 6 (12:57):
This is a true story, yes, okay documentary.
Speaker 9 (13:00):
And it seemed that whoever was that was sending these
text messages happened to have some sort of infatuation for
the boyfriend because the text messages that they would send
to this couple, specifically to the woman or the young girl,
were degrading, telling her that her boyfriend didn't like her,
that he would soon be breaking up with her, that
(13:20):
he was out cheating on her, like bashing her appearance.
Speaker 8 (13:25):
And we're talking about thirty to fifty text messages a day, jeez.
Speaker 3 (13:28):
So they some of them very vulgar, like he did
this to me like.
Speaker 8 (13:33):
So as time went on, they became more and more.
Speaker 9 (13:35):
Vicious, some were threatening. And I do want to pause
there though, to ask you guys, as parents, what would
be the first thing that you would do if your
child came to you and was like, hey, look at
the text messages that I'm receiving. And this is so
early on. Let's say it's only been about a week
or so that they've been receiving these text messages. The
(13:56):
messages clearly indicate that it's somebody in their life that
has that knows their every move. They know when they're
in school, they know what they're wearing. What do you
do because as a parent that seems tough.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
The first thing I'm doing is going to the school.
I don't know what they can do. Usually it's nothing,
But you still do that and you give it a try.
I mean, honestly, I will. We would be changing phone numbers, right.
Speaker 6 (14:17):
Yeah, wouldn't you be blowed? I mean, the first thing
you do be blocking the number change.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
But there's no number, it's from an unknown number, so
you can't block them. But I mean, I if my
kids they're getting mult phone number, then that's what we're doing.
Speaker 7 (14:27):
You can't block sex messages you're getting.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Uh maybe I don't know if you can if there's
if it's from an unknown number.
Speaker 8 (14:33):
But the thing is if they're coming from an unknown number,
and and.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
Like there was no phone number, it said like unknown
got it.
Speaker 9 (14:38):
And this person was also using multiple sources, like multiple
apps that block the number, so they weren't just using one, right.
Speaker 12 (14:46):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (14:47):
But I found it odd that a lot of the
parents were trying to put a stop to it, but
they weren't changing the child's number, or they weren't like
I don't know, removing them from the school once they
got so bad, because you know, the this went on
for quite some time, like over a year.
Speaker 7 (15:03):
I'm throwing their cell phone away, So.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
That happened if you didn't beg me for a cell phone.
Speaker 7 (15:10):
Right, garbage?
Speaker 9 (15:12):
At what point do you contact the authorities when it
gets threatening anything? Okay, because the messages did get so
bad to where there were threats of violence there.
Speaker 8 (15:23):
Yes, it is unknown unknown number.
Speaker 9 (15:29):
The high school catfish got it on Netflix, by the way,
So they contact the authorities.
Speaker 8 (15:34):
They're trying to work things out with the school.
Speaker 9 (15:36):
They want them to do something, but again they're not
changing the kid's numbers. At this point, all of the
parents are basically involved. They're trying to put the clues together.
They're reading all the text messages, and some of the
text messages get so bad that they are even like
encouraging harm, like self harm. And at this point, you know,
(15:56):
everyone is a suspect to the friends, the teachers, the
mean classmates, the quiet once to everyone is getting accused
and blame.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Them too.
Speaker 7 (16:04):
Everything.
Speaker 9 (16:06):
But eventually, you guys, the FBI gets called in. They're
able to trace everything down. Are we gonna say who
it was?
Speaker 8 (16:15):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
I don't know, but I feel like for the sake
of conversation, it's like, you need.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
To know this, damn it.
Speaker 7 (16:22):
Now I want to know, But now I also want
to watch this. So I'm gonna spoiler alert myself. You've
been warned, You've.
Speaker 8 (16:29):
Been worn, Graham.
Speaker 9 (16:30):
But let me so, let me go back and say,
this was one couple, right, I was going through this
and both of their parents trying what.
Speaker 8 (16:37):
They could to figure out who this was.
Speaker 9 (16:40):
Well once the once, then.
Speaker 7 (16:44):
It once the flaw.
Speaker 9 (16:48):
And they traced the IP address back to the young
girl's own mother.
Speaker 10 (16:55):
What.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
I can't believe you just spoiled so many people were
gonna go home and watch this because it sounds so crazy,
just for the entire day, guys.
Speaker 8 (17:11):
Her own mother was sending her.
Speaker 6 (17:13):
I'm shook right now, not about what happened, about that
you just spoiled it.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
I actually because.
Speaker 7 (17:22):
I'm like, no, I'm not gonna watch that another one.
But then you really sold it, and now I was, actually.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
You're not going to go watch it? Your wife would
be like, no, let's watch them.
Speaker 7 (17:30):
No, what I want everybody there still shooting.
Speaker 9 (17:35):
I spoiled it, But I still want everybody to go
watch it because there is actual police footage, and there's
the video of when they confront the mother and she yeah,
but all.
Speaker 6 (17:44):
The suspense, that's sort I want the show, the build up,
but I want the different theories, like who do you
think it is? And I think it's this person, and
we'd be going back and forth and then instead, mind.
Speaker 9 (17:57):
You, the mother is still not taking any account nobility
for this really, like she's she's almost comparing it to like, well,
you know what, because she's being interviewed throughout the documentary,
and even after.
Speaker 8 (18:08):
They reveal that it was her, she's still getting you.
Speaker 9 (18:10):
Know, questioned throughout the documentary. I'm surprised she even agreed
to do a show like that. Why would she sign
up for this? Knowing you're the one that did. But
she's over here like, well, you know, everybody has committed
not everybody's perfect.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
Everyone makes mistakes. You bullied your own daughter, wanting her.
Speaker 3 (18:27):
To like harm herself?
Speaker 7 (18:30):
What why would she agree to? Now?
Speaker 6 (18:32):
The backlash, like the public backlash, Right, it's going to
be pretty brutal for her, isn't it.
Speaker 7 (18:36):
Who would sign up for this?
Speaker 9 (18:37):
I have no clue, but apparently maybe she was getting
some money off of this.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
I mean she must have, right, Would you still want
a relationship with mom after that? Because the daughter and
the show? She's like, yeah, I still want to fix
things and I hope we can still be close and
work on our relationship and because I love her so much,
Like yeah, And if you can go back and read
some of the things she's said about her, you know,
her daughter's boyfriend, So.
Speaker 6 (19:03):
Did she really have their shou the mom really wanted
the boyfriend for herself.
Speaker 8 (19:06):
That's what I didn't like that.
Speaker 9 (19:08):
They didn't really press her on they didn't ask that
many questions regarding the fact that she was sending all
of these, you know, very like sexual messages having to
do with the girl's boyfriend.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
How are you not in prison right now?
Speaker 9 (19:22):
A lot of people given the response from the daughter
when the daughter found out that it was her own
mother sending these text messages, because she didn't.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
React that much.
Speaker 9 (19:33):
People were like, maybe, like the viewers are like, maybe
she was in on it as well, because how.
Speaker 8 (19:39):
Did the mom know so much about the daughter? I mean,
the mom was the basketball coach also.
Speaker 7 (19:44):
Grabs it's always the basketball coach.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
Yeah, it was insane.
Speaker 8 (19:56):
It was insane.
Speaker 9 (19:57):
I mean she lost her job while she was in
the in the midst of all this. She she lost
her job, obviously, lost her family because of this, and
her whole reputation crazy.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
I still don't watch it because there's so much that
we we can't even cover here.
Speaker 7 (20:13):
I am just so shook right now. That just spoiled that.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
What was it called again?
Speaker 8 (20:20):
Just unknown number? The high School cap and that's on Netflix.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Watch Today's Hottest trending is coming up? Did you guys
hear about this? Conspiracy theory that Travis and Taylor's engagement
was one big Ralph Lauren ad what.
Speaker 6 (20:36):
Coming up the JV Show on Wild ninety four nine
The JV Show.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
All right, if you submitted your talk back for these
Disney tickets, Just what is it?
Speaker 3 (20:44):
It's a four pack of.
Speaker 9 (20:46):
A four pack of to day one park per day
ticket tickets.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Okay, there you go. If you'll have to talk back,
here is the winning one. It could be yours.
Speaker 13 (20:55):
Hey, Javisha, I was calling and helped to win those
Disney tickets. I haven't been able to war to go
in a year, so it'd be nice to gather some
family to be able to get out there for the
Halloween movie season right before my birthday. Anyways, have a
great day. This is Niam.
Speaker 7 (21:16):
Lations.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
All right, listen up because we have a lot more
Disney to give away this week. We have another chance
coming up seven thirty and said, are yup? Nope, game,
that's a really fun trivia game. But then all this week,
starting right at six am, we're going to be doing
the talkback contest for your chance to win a four packs, So.
Speaker 7 (21:30):
Make sure you have chances.
Speaker 5 (21:35):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
So there is a conspiracy theory that Taylor in Travis's
engagement was one big Ralph Lauren ad. So chickity check
this out, you guys. You know, for their engagement yourself,
they both wore Ralph Ralph Lauren outfits.
Speaker 7 (21:56):
Right, people still wearing Ralph Lauren. No okay, well.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
Now we are got up, but you know, no big deal.
They each decided to wear Ralph Lauren. Plenty of couples
like to be all matchy matchie. But then of course
there is a tailor effect, so anything that Taylor puts on,
it's gonna sell out, like that dress that she had
on when she got proposed to. So that's what happened.
We also know the proposal most likely happened right after
they recorded the New Heights podcast. Right, Well, something you
(22:22):
may not have noticed behind them on the podcast. You know,
Travis has all those shelves and he has books and
awards and things directly behind them, Ralph Lauren's biography. So
now people are wondering. And then there was all these articles,
you know, talking about what was behind them on the
podcast so people are wondering if this is all part
of some like advertisement. Also, on Thursday, they went to
a football game. Taylor wore a Ralph Lauren sweater vest thing,
(22:45):
so maybe she has like some deal with them, you know,
and the engagement was like maybe she didn't know it
was gonna be the engagement, but like, yeah, but it
was all part of you know, we're gonna get these
outfits out there. Do you think there's there could be
anything there? We don't really know exactly what, but it
seems like something.
Speaker 8 (23:05):
I think there could be something there.
Speaker 9 (23:06):
I mean that obviously doesn't mean that their engagement was fake,
but there could still be something there that they're collaborating
on something.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
I think so too. I mean, Taylor, I don't believe
Taylor knew about the proposal, but she did think that
they were just gonna go out to dinner. So let's
put on our matching Ralph Lauren outfits because we're going
to be seen.
Speaker 6 (23:24):
Yeah, but are people still wearing Ralph Laurence. That seems
like a pretty big coincidence.
Speaker 9 (23:29):
Right, yeah, I think because nobody's wearing it and she
just so happened to wear it.
Speaker 6 (23:35):
But like, let's just put on our matching outfits from
a brand that like really ain't that popular anymore?
Speaker 2 (23:40):
Right, maybe there's some money involved.
Speaker 6 (23:42):
Look, don't listen to me when it comes to fashion.
I have no idea. I buy most of my clothes
at Costco. But like, is Ralph Lauren like I just
didn't know, is Ralph Laurence still alive?
Speaker 7 (23:48):
By the way, Oh it's gonna be pretty I don't know, pretty.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Old right, curiously typing away?
Speaker 7 (23:57):
Let me know it is Ralp Laurence still love He's
got to be.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
I see what you get out there. I think there
is some some something because why else would they be read?
Speaker 6 (24:03):
But it does seem like a big coincidence. But also
like that, but also that seems like kind of beneath them.
Speaker 8 (24:08):
You know, he's years old, damn all.
Speaker 6 (24:11):
Right, still taking good for you, Rol Warren. But also
like do they need that endorsement? Umm, there's another thing.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
No, But I mean, I mean Travis's he has a
lot of endorsements.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
That's true, That's just what he does. All right, Graham,
what do you have?
Speaker 7 (24:24):
All Right?
Speaker 6 (24:24):
We got to talk about a little Burning Man recap
because a couple of really crazy things happened that I
think we should discuss first.
Speaker 7 (24:32):
Sadly, we had a burning Man murder, you guys. This
incident took place this past Saturday evening.
Speaker 6 (24:38):
Police were alerted by another burner or festival goer, whatever
you want to call him. They found a man lying
on the ground covered in blood, obviously deceased, they said,
at a campsite. Prior to this year, there's never been
a homicide at burning Man. We've had recorded deak before,
but they were all accidents, medical emergencies, substance related things.
So this is a burning Man first, an actual murder. Please,
(25:01):
still investigating. I don't believe they've identified any suspect or suspects.
They're still continuing to interview people that might have been
witnessed to it.
Speaker 7 (25:09):
We also had a birth, you guys. Now, I'm a
journing man at Bernie Man.
Speaker 6 (25:14):
I'm assuming that has probably happened before, but I Jvshow
Research Department maybe looking at that. But Utah resident Kayla
Thompson and her husband they went to Bernie Man for
the very first time, and she gave birth right there
in their RV. She's thirty seven years old. She did
not know she was pregnant. They were calling.
Speaker 7 (25:33):
Any pregnancy or whatever. She had no symptoms.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
I was gonna say, I feel like that's no place
for someone who's that close to having a baby.
Speaker 6 (25:40):
She went back to the RV, was having a bunch
of abdominal pain and cramping, and next thing you know,
a baby arrived. Now, this baby's thirty five weeks old,
three pounds nine point six ounces. That baby was airlifted
to a hospital in Renos and the neonatal intensive care unit,
by by all accounts, is doing fine. Wow, and mom
is doing fine as well as and has since been
(26:02):
released from the hospital.
Speaker 7 (26:03):
So congrats to them. Again.
Speaker 6 (26:05):
They say that they never would have attended Bernie Man
in the first place hadn'ty known she was pregnant.
Speaker 7 (26:10):
But here we are.
Speaker 6 (26:11):
So we had a murder, and then we had a
surprise birth at Bernie Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
And then how many conceptions.
Speaker 6 (26:18):
Well I haven't gotten the updated stats from the Dome,
the orgy Dome, yes, to find out how many we've
had there, but probably quite a few.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
Are you counting? What are you counting?
Speaker 8 (26:29):
Just how do you dune babies?
Speaker 7 (26:31):
Or maybe oh, you're going nine months.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
When they oh when that baby was Yeah, and see
you's got it.
Speaker 7 (26:36):
Got it.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
I thought you were counting, counting how many conceptions in
the Dome office.
Speaker 7 (26:42):
Site.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
How do they know so quickly?
Speaker 7 (26:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (26:45):
All right, thank you Graham. Next on the JV show,
it's your chance toe when a chug mug inside? Are
what the bleak game?
Speaker 1 (26:50):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four.
Speaker 14 (26:53):
Nine, I know you're going to get Bernie Man back,
so I decided to leave one. I just wanted to
encourage all the listeners and even you guys, if you
haven't dabbled yourself from what Berning Men's really about and
only know what the media reports, look at the ten Principles,
look at Bernie Mean dot org, and educate yourself. I
can't confirm, however, there's two things did happen, unfortunately, the
(27:13):
one on the birth. Yes, lots of births happened at
burning Man. Unfortunately. People liked to go out there to
have their babies because it's a temporary city. Bye.
Speaker 6 (27:22):
That's interesting that that is our one and only burning
Man talked back this morning.
Speaker 7 (27:26):
We won't be getting a slew of them, I don't believe.
Speaker 6 (27:28):
But we were talking earlier in a trending about how
there was a well, there was a murder the first
time ever at burning Man there was a murder, and
then there was also a woman that gave birth there.
But she had no idea that what made this one
note where it was? She had no idea she was
pregnant and I gave birth right there. In the RV
she had said and said she had no pregnancy symptoms whatsoever.
Speaker 7 (27:50):
It was a big, big.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
But people wanted to give birth on perfect That's interesting.
Speaker 7 (27:55):
I had not. I had not heard that. Jess Selena
any interest ever in burning Man?
Speaker 2 (28:01):
Never? No, zero?
Speaker 8 (28:02):
How come not voluntary?
Speaker 7 (28:04):
She's saying, don't believe what you see in the media.
Speaker 6 (28:06):
Go on Burningman dot org or whatever and learn about
the principles and then maybe you'll.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Yeah, I'm sure the principles and all that are great.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
I'm just not a big, you know, outdoorsy, camping right
shower type of person.
Speaker 8 (28:17):
I don't even think I would camp out at Coachella.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
I know I wouldn't, got it. I can't. So that's
that's my reason for not being interested.
Speaker 7 (28:25):
Well, I think I.
Speaker 6 (28:26):
Would have been interested in in my younger years. I also,
and again, I've never been so I can't make a
full on judgment. But I feel like burning Man has
evolved into something a little different and overa and hows
and stuff now, like I think the older ones would
have been, like, Oh man, I wish I'd gone to
one of those.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Yeah, I could see that. All right, it's time for
what the bleep? I got your chance to win a
chug mug right here. You just have to be the
first person. I guess today is bleeped out word. As always,
when you think you know what it is, you got
to run on over to the talkbacks on the iHeartRadio
app and then leave your guests right there.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Are you guys ready for today's clip?
Speaker 7 (29:01):
Sure?
Speaker 6 (29:02):
There was this girl in college that we nicknamed smelly
Brook because one of our buddies hung out with her
and he came home smelling like her. Meracy story. Yeah
that's the thing, all right, Think about what that bleeped
out word. Two bleeps in there, but it's the same
word that was bleeped there, epic double bleep. Think about
(29:25):
what it is. Leave us a talkback on the talkback mic.
It's super easy. So again, I got a DM the
other day. I don't know how to leave a talkback,
So I took a screenshot of the iHeartRadio and then
I just circled and drew a bunch of arrows to
the red microphone button.
Speaker 7 (29:38):
I thought it's that easy. It's right there.
Speaker 6 (29:41):
It is as simple and it's fun, and we want
you to play along with the show, and then you
can win a JV show. Chukblut, leave us your name
and your city along with what you think that bleeped
out word could be. And keep in mind this is
a family show, so yes, keep those guesses.
Speaker 1 (29:52):
PG, please please. The JV show on Wild ninety four
nine are the JV show.
Speaker 2 (29:57):
I'm Selena and I'm and we're playing to what the
where you can win a JV show chugmuh just got
to be the first person a guest today is a
bleeped out word correctly if you miss today's clip here
it is.
Speaker 6 (30:06):
There was this girl in college that we nicknamed smelly
Brook because one of our buddies hung out with her
and he came home smelling like her. That is so
just was very strong.
Speaker 7 (30:18):
Oh my god, you knew right when he walked in.
You were like you were with Brooke.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
Were you ever with Brooke? Did you ever smell like her?
Speaker 7 (30:29):
Oh? I mean not that I or maybe Oh my god,
I'm not I can't really remember.
Speaker 2 (30:35):
But like, also you were probably nose blind, so like
you wouldn't know if you smelled like it.
Speaker 6 (30:38):
True.
Speaker 7 (30:39):
Yeah, also really drunk.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
Oh all right, let's go to your talkbacks, your guesses.
Speaker 7 (30:45):
Good morning, Jamie Show, Happy Tuesday.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
This is Rebecca from Conquered.
Speaker 10 (30:49):
My guess for the bleep dot word is breath.
Speaker 7 (30:52):
Have a great day, smelly breath, broke. I like that.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
Yeah, but coming home smelling like someone else's breath like
that must.
Speaker 7 (30:59):
Have been bad. Did you guys used to have nicknames
for everybody like we did? Everybody had a nickname everybody?
Speaker 2 (31:06):
Yeah, probably not like everybody though, most people the ones
that we're deserving of a nickname, right, Yeah.
Speaker 7 (31:11):
Good morning JV Show. This is Tanya from San Jose
and I think the bleep dot word is pitts.
Speaker 8 (31:17):
Thanks.
Speaker 6 (31:20):
Yeah, there's a brook out there listening and they're like,
oh no, I love these guesses. What's up JV Show.
Speaker 7 (31:29):
It's Vince and Olivia from Dublin.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
We're gonna get.
Speaker 12 (31:31):
Today's bleeped out word is dorm.
Speaker 15 (31:34):
Smelly dorm.
Speaker 16 (31:35):
All right, have a great day.
Speaker 7 (31:36):
Smelly dorm. Brook. No, it's transcended past the dorm.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
Oh god, it was that bad.
Speaker 7 (31:42):
All right.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
If you think you know what today's bleeped out word is,
get on they talk Back Mike on the iHeartRadio app.
Leave those guests now, we're going to play more of them.
Speaker 1 (31:50):
Coming up the JV show on Wild ninety four nine,

today's bleeped out word correctly, And if you can do that,
we're going to send you this JV Show Chuck mugs.
So here's face clip in case she missed it.
Speaker 6 (32:02):
There was this girl in college that we nicknamed smelly
Brook because one of our buddies hung out with her
and he came home smelling like her.
Speaker 7 (32:11):
The smell would just stick to you.
Speaker 6 (32:14):
I think I hung out with her one time too,
and it just the smell, it's just stuck to you.
Speaker 2 (32:18):
Remember this is a family show, so your guess has
got to be clevel. Let's go to the talkbacks and
see if anyone got it right.
Speaker 14 (32:24):
Hey, j V Sam, I don't know how old Graham is,
but my name is Brooke and I went to UCSB.
So if you're talking about me, oh my god.
Speaker 7 (32:36):
Oh I got the Brook Well, I don't know. She
didn't say which it didn't sound like I can't rule.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Oh my god.
Speaker 7 (32:45):
It would have been.
Speaker 6 (32:46):
Helpful had she left to talk back there saying and yes,
my whatever does stink really bad?
Speaker 7 (32:50):
And then I could have been like, no that is
you or.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
No that isn't okay, Brook, leave us another talkback, either
describing your stinky or or what years you went to
see Santa Barbara, because Graham, we all know it was
only twenty and a half, right, yeah, yeah, newly graduated.
Speaker 13 (33:09):
This is Jillian and Lincoln from Sunny Vale.
Speaker 15 (33:11):
And we think the blanked out word.
Speaker 7 (33:13):
Is cat cat. Yes, in some ways it could.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
I think there's a smelly on.
Speaker 7 (33:23):

Speaker 9 (33:28):
Yeah, let me get the smelly kat something like that.
Speaker 7 (33:31):
Right, smelly cat smell ahead? Are they friends?
Speaker 5 (33:36):

Speaker 2 (33:37):

Speaker 4 (33:38):

Speaker 13 (34:01):
Hair all right.
Speaker 3 (34:04):
So here's today's clip.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
Unbelieve.
Speaker 6 (34:07):
There was this girl in college that we nicknamed Smelly
Hair Brook because one of our buddies hung out with
her and he came home smelling like her hair.
Speaker 7 (34:15):
WHOA, Okay, now, let me explain the stink.
Speaker 6 (34:20):
It was not a bad like you haven't washed your
hair stink she has like she had well, she had
a lot of hair, and she had like blonde curly hair,
like a ton of it, and whatever kind of hair
spray or product she'd use. Man, she must have used
the entire bottle every single time because her hair had
and it probably was a good smell in a small dose, right,
(34:42):
But we used the entire It's like a guy that
uses the entire can of axe. It's like, whoa, that's
too much. That's what she did to her hair every
single day. And I've told this story to you before,
Slena one time and maybe even on this show. We
were driving in a car, windows up and I was like,
I smell Brook, and we come around the corner and
there she is riding her bike towards us. I smell
(35:05):
move on a block away in a car, windows up.
I swear on everything that is a true story, and
I called it. There are multiple witnesses in the car
with me. I was like, I smell, she has to
be close. We were just down we were just downwind
of her.
Speaker 8 (35:18):
That's a life hack because she can't go missing.
Speaker 7 (35:21):
Ever, that's a good time.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
Every day and you're good. I guess we could save lives.
Speaker 6 (35:26):
But if you ever heard about it, make out with
her at a hot tub in Vegas, like you're gonna
smell like it for a long time.
Speaker 3 (35:31):
Was that you or your friend that did that?
Speaker 7 (35:33):
I don't know that we're shot.
Speaker 6 (35:40):
Yeah, I mean she's a good looking girl, but like
this momentever, all right, let's get some shout outs.
Speaker 7 (35:46):

Speaker 7 (38:48):

Speaker 6 (38:49):
Question number two, popcorn was the very first food to
be intentionally cooked using what piece of.
Speaker 7 (38:56):
Culinary technology in nineteen forty five?
Speaker 1 (39:00):
Oil?
Speaker 6 (39:04):
The microwave is what we're looking for, the very fruit
first food potentially microwave?
Speaker 3 (39:11):
Yeah, all right.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
Here's question number three. You can find Lake Titty Cocca
high up in the mountains on what continent? What did
you say, coca?
Speaker 6 (39:24):
Excuse me, careful, Lake Titty Cocca. Put some respect on
my cocca.
Speaker 2 (39:31):
Do you know what continent that lake is on?
Speaker 6 (39:44):
I don't take a guest, for the love of God,
take a guess.
Speaker 12 (39:54):
The toilet.
Speaker 2 (39:58):
We're looking for South America.
Speaker 6 (40:00):
South America, Selena, I have seen. I have been to
Lake Didny talk. Yes, what's very it. It's way high
up at high elevation, the order of Bolivia and Peru.
I believe it's gorgeous, gorgeous area. Cheap beers there on
the shore there. I drank a lot of them, all right.

(40:21):

Speaker 7 (42:00):
I just really want to talk back. Yes, you got

I'm worried she didn't know any of the continents now
or and or in the stay.
Speaker 2 (42:19):
She knows some states. You know what you get on
to play the game, and it's pressure. You feel pressured,
then you forget everything.
Speaker 7 (42:25):
Shout out in state, like can you not okay? Never mind?
Oh she did say she was a Raiders fan, I'm
keddying Raiders fans all right.
Speaker 6 (42:31):

use the part and second ofl if you caught three
balls at a Giant's game and I've never caught one
(44:04):
in my entire life, despite trying so desperately hard.
Speaker 7 (44:07):
I don't think you're gonna have a lucky year. The
the luck is all run out.
Speaker 3 (44:11):
That's it, all on one Giants game.
Speaker 16 (44:13):
Wow.
Speaker 7 (44:13):
Hope you had a great birthday, Yes, and.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
Have a great rest of your day. All righty, Today's
hottest trending is coming up.
Speaker 6 (44:19):
Hottest.
Speaker 5 (44:21):
It's all the stuff you need to know, what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today.
Speaker 8 (44:29):
In the Bay.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
Oh my god, Dwayne Johnson's weight loss. He looks so different.
If you have not seen these new photos of him
when he was at the Venice Film Festival, go to
JB Morning Show on our Instagram.
Speaker 3 (44:41):
We've got him up right there.
Speaker 2 (44:42):
On our Instagram story. So if you don't know, he
is starring in this new movie called The Smashing Machine
where he plays enemy.
Speaker 6 (44:50):
Wait, what's this movie? What's it called? Because I think
I've I watched that. Yeah, it was this guy he
somehow gets access to this cheerleaders locker room and he
goes in.
Speaker 7 (44:59):
There and it's it's a smashing Machine.
Speaker 3 (45:01):
Oh, that's a little different.
Speaker 2 (45:02):
The Smashing Machine. He plays MM a legend, Mark Kerr,
Are you sure.
Speaker 7 (45:07):
There is this other smashing Machine that I saw?
Speaker 6 (45:09):
And it actually was a sophisticated human cyborg robot sent
back in time to change the lives of one hundred
women and the smashing Machine went to war?
Speaker 7 (45:17):
Is that what it is?
Speaker 2 (45:18):
This is different. This is about the MMA fighter. So
that's pressuring, bro. They're saying he lost like sixty pounds
for this role. WHOA like you're used to seeing him
just like hell above all that is gone. He is
slimmed down so much so.
Speaker 6 (45:35):
It's the shirt that he's wearing, because he's wearing some
kind of it's not a Hawaiian shirt, it's not the
right word, but it's something that kind of looks like that,
and it's kind of baggy on him, so you can't
really tell if.
Speaker 8 (45:46):
He's right from the face and neck.
Speaker 2 (45:49):
You can totally tell in his face and if you
were to see another picture of him, like the way
we're used the scene, we.
Speaker 6 (45:53):
Have a side by side of Java and the difference
is drastic.
Speaker 7 (45:57):
Yes, he's a totally different wax figure person.
Speaker 3 (46:01):
A lot of people thought it was Ai, but like, no,
this is actually him.
Speaker 6 (46:03):
It kind of gives me the creeps, like the Big
the Big Buff version.
Speaker 2 (46:09):
By the way, this movie got a fifteen minute standing
ovation at the Venice Film I feel like all movies, okay,
get standing ovations.
Speaker 6 (46:17):
That's the thing. Film festival culture is this standing ovation thing.
And yeah, the longer the standing ovation you get, the
better the movie. But I we've heard other movies like
this got a nine minute standing ovation, which I don't,
and then the movie ends up being trash. You know,
it's something that we don't you know, doesn't do well
in the box office. So like you can't totally base
things on that because there's something about this film festival.
Speaker 7 (46:38):
People get stumped up in that.
Speaker 6 (46:40):
But do you mean to tell me I got a
clap for nine minutes, fifteen minutes, for fifteen minutes?
Speaker 7 (46:45):
Yeah, you know what I mean, Like, you can't do that.
Speaker 2 (46:47):
Your hands will get it, but you can probably stop
for a little bit and let the other people do it.
Speaker 3 (46:51):
Like if everybody stopped at different times take turns.
Speaker 2 (46:53):
Yeah, then you don't really notice that someone stopped clapping.
Speaker 7 (46:56):
But do you know how long that would feel?
Speaker 6 (46:59):
A thirty second and standing ovation would feel like it
is endless.
Speaker 7 (47:03):
I gotta do that for.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
Fifteen fifteen minutes, and it brought jan Johns into tears.
Speaker 6 (47:08):
I'm gonna go to the bath and go get a snack,
come back and people are still.
Speaker 2 (47:13):
That might be a good time to go do it
because the lines are really short because everyone's.
Speaker 3 (47:16):
In there clapping.
Speaker 6 (47:17):
That sounds miserable, Graham, what do you have in trending?
Talk about the holy lightning show this morning? If you
guys were out this morning driving in the dark, you
may have been treated to a bit of a electric
sky spectacle because there were lots of lightning strikes reported
this morning all across the Bay Area, reported as far
south as Gilroy, a little more Valleo, Napa. All sorts
(47:40):
of places saw lots and lots of lightning this this morning. Unfortunately,
the National Weather Service reports several fires were even started
by all these lightning strikes, some in Monterey and Fresno County.
They said there were at least five thousand lightning strikes
that the National Weather surf Service, excuse me, documented this
morning up until five point thirty this morning, are probably
(48:00):
some that happened after that. They say it's caused by
the tropical monsooner moisture that's in the air, which can
be pretty common right now, but also we know, very terrifying.
A few years back, we had just a litany of
fires that were started by a big lightning storm. But uh, Selena,
and you mentioned earlier that you thought you maybe you
saw some of it.
Speaker 2 (48:19):
Yeah, driving in this morning, you know, just after five am,
I thought I saw. I mean, look, you're still half
asleep when you're driving that early. So I thought either
lightning or someone took a picture of me. I was
very confused.
Speaker 7 (48:31):
My flash on. It's pretty dark.
Speaker 2 (48:34):
I was so confused.
Speaker 7 (48:35):
I thought the paparazzi was waiting outside.
Speaker 6 (48:37):
Your house this morning storm. That makes a lot more
major lightning storm. I imagine that I probably drove you
guys know, I leave, I get in here really really
early in the morning, and I drive with my eyes
closed the entire way to catch some extra sleep, extra
hour sleep.
Speaker 7 (48:51):
I have a long commute, So like, I probably missed it.
Speaker 2 (48:53):
Because I was sleep, didn't catch any Yeah, well I
can vouch that it.
Speaker 6 (49:00):
Mure's online. Pretty spectacular looking lightning strikes too. Wow.
Speaker 3 (49:04):
Crazy All right, Thank you Graham The.
Speaker 1 (49:06):

Speaker 7 (49:22):

winning on the JV show.
Speaker 6 (49:24):
Get your pencils out of everybody listening, because in the
six o'clock hour and set your alarms. You got to
wake up with us. We've got your chance to win
a four pack of Disneyland tickets. And then it's seven
thirty five and Saturay, ye have nope, game we do
Disneyland tickets again. And now you're telling me step twenty
some Ariana Grandy on top of that.
Speaker 3 (49:40):
Yep, I hate that you say Grandy.
Speaker 7 (49:41):
That's how she said an interview. That's how I know
I don't like it.
Speaker 2 (49:45):
I refuse to say her name correctly, got it, Just
like how I don't say Rihanna's name is Rihanna? Like
no one says that.
Speaker 8 (49:51):
I refuse Rihanna.
Speaker 2 (49:53):
Thank you?
Speaker 9 (49:54):
Anyways, you guys, Okay, I found something weird on my body?
Speaker 8 (50:00):
What Yeah, that sounded really weird. What I found a weird.
Speaker 7 (50:05):

Speaker 6 (50:37):
No it was there was a big red bump on
your velvet purse.
Speaker 8 (50:42):

Speaker 6 (50:43):
Oh, I've heard sometimes you can find something weird on
your meat sleeve.
Speaker 2 (50:48):
Okay, okay, No I found it was on.
Speaker 7 (50:51):
Your pecker record. You found a bump. You found a
bump on your pink slot machine.
Speaker 9 (51:00):
No, are you done?
Speaker 15 (51:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (51:04):
I found I found a bump on your sandtrap.
Speaker 7 (51:07):
No he was on your velcrow patch.
Speaker 8 (51:11):
No you b okay, none of those I heard.
Speaker 7 (51:14):
You can get some bumps on your furry canyon nine

Speaker 8 (51:17):
That of those are so weird. Okay. Anyways heard.
Speaker 7 (51:25):
Made me laugh.
Speaker 8 (51:29):
Wait, is Selena he's a pickle pouch.
Speaker 2 (51:32):
We're not.
Speaker 3 (51:33):
We don't have to go back and move on.
Speaker 9 (51:36):
Anyways, I found a pump on the biscuit factory.
Speaker 6 (51:41):
Okay, seriously, So you found a bump on your Okay,
tell us more about it.
Speaker 7 (51:47):
Not take a picture of it and uploaded GPT and
they'd be.
Speaker 2 (51:53):
Like, why none of our pictures are private?
Speaker 6 (51:55):
By the way, do not do that, right, don't do
is gonna be like, oh, that looks contagious on your
party pals, yes.
Speaker 9 (52:01):
Yeah, and then when Chad GBT takes over, your pictures
will be everywhere.
Speaker 6 (52:06):
Yeah, you're the pictures of your nutcrackers den are going
to be all over the internet.
Speaker 9 (52:10):
You none of that, okay, But now I can't keep
a straight face to actually say.
Speaker 2 (52:20):
That, Yeah, you don't pictures on your log cabin getting out?
Speaker 7 (52:24):
Yeah, no disturbing.
Speaker 9 (52:27):
No, seriously, though, I found a bump on the side
of my head.
Speaker 12 (52:34):
You just say that, yeahtus factory, all these other things,
and you could have just said that, like, no, it's
not on my low two pey, it's actually on my
head some gray.
Speaker 9 (52:49):
No, really, though I found a bump on the side
of my head and now I don't know what it is.
Speaker 2 (52:52):
What do you mean It's like it's like so it's
like I went to medical school.
Speaker 3 (52:56):
Okay, yeah, your bumps.
Speaker 9 (52:59):
I don't know if you'll be able to see it
as much as I can feel it.
Speaker 7 (53:03):
But oh, it's under the flap dragon.
Speaker 2 (53:07):
Um. Yeah, oh you know what it looks like a
swollen lymph node.
Speaker 7 (53:12):
Oh.
Speaker 8 (53:18):
I did some googling that.
Speaker 9 (53:19):
Some people did say that that's what they had when
they had a lump back.
Speaker 7 (53:23):
There on your pink fortress.
Speaker 9 (53:26):
No, on the side of their head. But then other
people were like, oh, it actually was assistant. I had
to go and get it removed. Or some people were like,
oh it was this other thing and doesn't feel.
Speaker 2 (53:37):
Like liquidity inside.
Speaker 8 (53:38):
No it doesn't.
Speaker 2 (53:38):
Then it's a swollen lymph node.
Speaker 8 (53:40):
Really it hurts.
Speaker 7 (53:43):
Drain it?
Speaker 3 (53:43):
Yeah, I can drain it for you, trusting you know.
Speaker 10 (53:50):
So.
Speaker 7 (53:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (53:51):
So I don't know if I should make an appointment if.
Speaker 2 (53:53):
It doesn't go away. This is my medical give it
two to three days. If it doesn't go away or
gets worse, medical attention.
Speaker 7 (54:01):
Yeah, take advil, put some heat on it than some ice. Ice,
but yes, and make sure.
Speaker 3 (54:08):
Hot compress.
Speaker 6 (54:09):
Yes, hot compress was great, then a cold one may
keep it elevated.
Speaker 7 (54:13):
For four to six hours. None of it. Swelling has
reduced in four to six days.
Speaker 8 (54:17):
Can I take time off of work?
Speaker 7 (54:18):
See you doctor? Reading schedule? Why would we?
Speaker 2 (54:21):
Oh, Katie Perry an apology you guys.
Speaker 6 (54:24):
Katie Perry's tour despite all the haters and naysayers, like
the two of you up here that cackled when she
first announced this tour, Well she's getting the last laugh
right now because she has already sold one point one
million tickets and grows more than eighty million dollars in
sales on her tour. And look, we haven't even gotten
to the overseas stops in Latin America, Europe and China.
(54:46):
There's a lot more tour dates coming, and she is
just stacking, stacking.
Speaker 3 (54:50):
Why don't I apologize for that?
Speaker 7 (54:52):
Because you guys cackled at her when she took that ten.
Speaker 2 (54:54):
Minute we're leading that cackling.
Speaker 7 (54:58):
I don't remember that I do, And you.
Speaker 6 (55:01):
Guys mocked her one of the pictures we saw and
a lot of people were like, people are actually paying
to see this because her choreography and those space suits
and outfits and stuff she was wearing on stage. A
lot of people on social media, and you guys, I'm sure,
posted stuff about it, like whoa, what is this? I mean, yeah,
now we're getting some numbers on this tour and she's
crushing it.
Speaker 2 (55:19):
So take that, okay, But I think you guys, I
have to apologize.
Speaker 7 (55:23):
I think you should.
Speaker 6 (55:23):
I think you should take a moment and apologize to
all the kitty cats out there.
Speaker 2 (55:27):
Katie cats, So you should apologize cats now the same thing.
Speaker 9 (55:31):
Nobody that's right, because I was the only one that
said I actually felt bad that people were bad.
Speaker 2 (55:35):
Yeah, you were saying that she was an awful person
and she was like tone deaf. For the spaceflight, I
never said that because it was destroying the I remember
the planning that was bad for the environment.
Speaker 6 (55:45):
And she never looked up the window one. It was
that the Yeah, she was stared at the space camera
the entire time. Go ahead, Graham, I'm just saying, you
guys should just the mics are yours? Just issue Katie
Perry an apology because she is laughing all the way to
the bank. Selena does eighty million dollars in sales, seem
like that number doesn't impress me.
Speaker 8 (56:06):
Are we just so?
Speaker 7 (56:07):
Are we just so jaded by Taylor Swift?
Speaker 2 (56:09):
That's all I was gonna say. Uless, it's like in
like the hundreds, which I feel like that's.
Speaker 7 (56:13):
Taylor Like one point one million tickets.
Speaker 2 (56:16):
Honest, I mean that's still a lot of money. It's
more than I thought. But in my defense, it's not
like I just made up these reports, like they were
actually reports of poor ticket sales and people not wanted
to go and these sections that were, you know, basically
empty at her show. I didn't just make that stuff up.
Maybe they you know, tickets sold last minute, and good
for her that it did.
Speaker 6 (56:38):
But because like by my mouth, like you know, if
you did eighty million dollars in gross revenue from ticket
sales and you sold one point one million tickets, like
we're under eighty bucks a ticket that you're grossing here?
Speaker 7 (56:49):
So like is that are we?
Speaker 6 (56:50):
But the numbers are still there at one point one
million people went out to see her. The Taylor Swift
thing is like people were paying two thousand dollars plus
their liver, you know, just set tickets in.
Speaker 9 (57:00):
We compare, I guess Katy Perry to like justin Timberlake
or yeah.
Speaker 7 (57:04):
I would like to see those numbers.
Speaker 2 (57:05):
I think we gotta take Taylor out of the equation
because she grows two point two billion, right.
Speaker 6 (57:11):
It just kind of jaded us when we look at
like tour numbers and stuff.
Speaker 7 (57:14):
I'm like, only eighty million.
Speaker 6 (57:16):
Yeah, but you guys still, oh Katie Perry, No, I
don't know.
Speaker 8 (57:19):
No, I was I stuck beside her.
Speaker 2 (57:21):
You guys know you didn't.
Speaker 9 (57:22):
I said, I feel bad for her, and you guys
were like, I feel.
Speaker 7 (57:27):
All right.
Speaker 1 (57:28):
The JV show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 17 (57:31):
I just so I had a bump behind my ear
to it, like, I just felt behind my ear one
day and I was like, oh, I have a bump here.
Speaker 7 (57:37):
So then I went to get it checked out.
Speaker 2 (57:39):
My doctor thought it was assists.
Speaker 17 (57:41):
They drained it came back right away and it was
super painful, and then they told me I had to
have surgery to remove it, and it actually ended up
being a tumor. Thankfully it was non cancerous and benign.
Has it come back, So please please please get it
checked out. Better safe than sorry.
Speaker 8 (57:58):
Take care.
Speaker 6 (57:59):
Are you going to listen to that random talkback or
just Selena?
Speaker 7 (58:02):
Selena went to medical school.
Speaker 2 (58:03):
For a week and a half, six months, six months?
Speaker 7 (58:06):
Was it actual medical school?
Speaker 2 (58:08):
Yeah, I went to Healed.
Speaker 7 (58:09):
That's not like that medical.
Speaker 2 (58:11):
School, but like that was to get what medical assisting na.
I mean I only did like the general education stuff
when I was it gets to the actual medical.
Speaker 7 (58:20):
Park obtaining the classes. So there was that.
Speaker 2 (58:23):
Okay, I still trust.
Speaker 8 (58:27):
Three business day? Is there something like that?
Speaker 7 (58:29):
Yeah, you'll be fine.
Speaker 1 (58:29):
Ok The JV show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 16 (58:34):
Good Morning JV want to show family. This is doctor
Buddy Lee. So I was wanting to find out. Did
yesterday Labor Day feel like another Sunday but a little
bit more quieter than normal? I mean, there was hardly
anybody out on the road, and she just seems like
everyone is taking a long, extended nap and did not
want to get out or do anything.
Speaker 7 (58:56):
Is it just me or did anyone else feel like that?
Speaker 2 (58:59):
Have a great Is he talking about yesterday specifically, not
like the weekend as a whole.
Speaker 3 (59:05):
I guess I don't even think I left my house.
Speaker 7 (59:08):
But there's a lot of people are in that.
Speaker 6 (59:10):
You know, you're like, you have ultimate Sunday scaries because
it's returning from a three day weekend moping around the house.
Oh by three day weekend went by so quick it's over.
No doctor Buddy Lee, he's one of her favorite listeners.
He listens from Nashville every morning. So what was happening
in Nashville may not have been happening here because he's
saying the road's empty. Holy, holy traffic jam that I
sat in trying to come home from camping down like
(59:33):
Highway four and Highway twelve and stuff. We were in
a line of cars like like I had never been
in before driving back. I always go camping up there,
never had set in a longer line of cars.
Speaker 7 (59:42):
It was brutal.
Speaker 2 (59:43):
Now, I mentioned that I have a question about power
Ball because I actually did get my tickets over the weekend.
Speaker 7 (59:48):
Thank you for participating in the TV show for somebody else.
Speaker 2 (59:52):
But I was hanging out with my sister over the
weekend and she said that when she was buying her tickets,
the person that was working at that store. Are said
to never buy lottery tickets with a credit card because
if you win, the credit card company can come in
and say technically they paid for the ticket, so the
winning is theirs.
Speaker 3 (01:00:10):
Like, is that true?
Speaker 6 (01:00:13):
Have you ever heard that I've never ever heard of
that that would be some weird.
Speaker 2 (01:00:18):
Legal and it seems like very unlikely that they would
even do that.
Speaker 6 (01:00:21):
But well, it's more unlikely that you'll win the lottery, right,
and then more unlikely that city bank comes in and
was like, ah, we're actually gonna win that. Like, I
think the public outcry would be so so so deafening
that there's just no way you could let that happen,
particularly because credit card companies, oh, they already got more
money than they know what to do with, right, So
(01:00:41):
that would just be shocking to me. I've never heard
that before though me either, I was was always under
the impression, at least growing up that like you had
to pay for lottery tickets with cash. And there's a
lot of a lot of like corner stores and stuff
when I lived in San Francisco, like they wouldn't like
they wouldn't let you pay with the credit card.
Speaker 7 (01:00:58):
You had to pay with cash.
Speaker 6 (01:00:59):
Really, I'm sure some stores, you know, let you, but
there was a long period of time where like they
would be like, you can't buy lottery tickets or scratchers
with your credit card, Get out of here.
Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
What about like a debit card. It was just cash.
Speaker 7 (01:01:10):
It was just cash. Had to be actual.
Speaker 8 (01:01:12):
Bills and how much tickets back.
Speaker 7 (01:01:14):
Then seventeen cents.
Speaker 6 (01:01:16):
And I took a horse horse drawn buggy down to
the corner market to get them. And at night you
had a little kerosene lantern so I could see where
to see who would.
Speaker 8 (01:01:28):
You find out the winner?
Speaker 7 (01:01:29):
They had to go, yeah, sit and wait like.
Speaker 6 (01:01:38):
Slid.
Speaker 7 (01:01:38):
Do you buy your Powerball tickets on your credit card?
Speaker 10 (01:01:42):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
I used a debit card though, but okay, no, yeah,
I'm just curious. I don't know, like I felt, it
felt like there's a lot of judgment in that, like
what if I.
Speaker 6 (01:01:50):
Did, Like I was asking you because I still feel like,
you know, I'll scrounge up a buck or two and
I want to go buy like you know, actual bucks.
Speaker 7 (01:01:58):
Okay, And then I just sit there waiting by my telegram.
Speaker 8 (01:02:02):
I didn't get any ticket.
Speaker 7 (01:02:03):
Oh thanks for a part of the JV show.
Speaker 14 (01:02:05):
Pool.
Speaker 9 (01:02:05):
Well, because you guys say you're gonna share with each other,
so I'm.
Speaker 6 (01:02:08):
Kind of like, ah, dang, all right, well you could
get you could be a part of the revenue sharing,
but you have to buy a ticket.
Speaker 8 (01:02:14):
Right get in. I'll buy one. It's still going right.
Speaker 3 (01:02:16):
I'll buy one next drawings on Wednesday one.
Speaker 7 (01:02:19):
That's tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (01:02:20):
Oh oh my.
Speaker 7 (01:02:21):
God, is sorry.
Speaker 2 (01:02:22):
I don't know why I felt like today was a Monday.
Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
I'm so sorry.
Speaker 2 (01:02:24):
Yes tomorrow, go get one twenty three billion dollars.
Speaker 7 (01:02:27):
When you win, which you won't. Don't forget about your
favorite local morning radio.
Speaker 3 (01:02:31):
Great advice, We have money, great advice.
Speaker 1 (01:02:33):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 3 (01:02:35):
We were just talking about Powerball.
Speaker 2 (01:02:37):
Good Morning JV Show.
Speaker 15 (01:02:39):
This is April from Beautiful Applegate, and I just wanted
to comment on the lottery ticket of buying was a
credit card? Anytime I've ever bought one, I've always had
to pay with cash. They wouldn't take card, even if
it was a debit card. So I've never paid for
a ticket with a credit card. I don't know if
that's true or not, but I don't think you can
(01:03:02):
do it as a credit card. Has to be with cash,
all right, have a good.
Speaker 2 (01:03:07):
This is the first time I'm hearing that it has.
Speaker 3 (01:03:09):
To be cash.
Speaker 6 (01:03:10):
Really, See, I just have always I'm a long time
lottery player lover. I love scratchers, you do, I love
all things like that and I've been scolded many, many
times over the year by store or owners and clerks
like you can't, no, you can't do that.
Speaker 7 (01:03:23):
That part has to be you know, if I was.
Speaker 6 (01:03:24):
Buying other things that I wanted to put in my card,
but the lottery ticket was always a separate transaction that
you had to pay in cash. And this came up
because Slena, you said your sister was told by somebody
that worked at a store, don't buy your powerball tickets
with a credit card because the credit card company could
swoop in and be like, uh, actually we own that
ticket and take your jackpoton.
Speaker 2 (01:03:46):
But I've never paid cash for a ticket.
Speaker 7 (01:03:48):
I've never been I've never not paid cash.
Speaker 2 (01:03:52):
Hey guys, Happy Tuesday. I hope you had a great
Labor Day.
Speaker 18 (01:03:57):
Traffic was super slammed yesterday. I gotta agree with with you, guys.
I'm calling about the lotto tickets. I tried to buy
a lotto or whatever power ball on a credit card
before at a gas station and they they wouldn't let me.
Speaker 3 (01:04:13):
They say, we.
Speaker 18 (01:04:14):
Can't buy it with a credit card, so I don't
think it's allowed.
Speaker 8 (01:04:17):
By Why this is so weird.
Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
I went to two different places and use the debit
card for both really interesting.
Speaker 6 (01:04:24):
Yeah, I've never done that or attempt to that. Like
I said, I was always taught that I had to
be cash, and so I've always made sure I've bought
tickets with cash. Cash, just any lottery ticket buying experience.
Speaker 8 (01:04:37):
Yeah, I don't think it's ever been with a debit card.
Speaker 7 (01:04:39):
Have you ever bought a lottery ticket before?
Speaker 8 (01:04:41):
I think I've only bought bought it twice.
Speaker 6 (01:04:44):
Sounds like zero, you know, sound very sure about that,
because that would not testimony would not hold up because.
Speaker 9 (01:04:52):
One of them I went with my brother and he paid,
So I don't know if that one counts.
Speaker 7 (01:04:56):
It doesn't, Okay, I know cash.
Speaker 9 (01:05:00):
Yeah, so this is crazy, but I'd want to at
least hit the five numbers and get like a million.
Speaker 8 (01:05:06):
That'd be kind of nice.
Speaker 6 (01:05:07):
We'll get your ticket, we take. Yeah, I'd like to
match any of the numbers. Yeah, that would be nice
in this run up.
Speaker 2 (01:05:15):
All right, Graham, what do you have?
Speaker 7 (01:05:16):
All Right?
Speaker 6 (01:05:16):
More drama at the US Open Women's tennis tournament. We
talked about a bunch of it last week, and now
listen to this one. Number thirteen in the world check
player Carolina Mukova. She broke down in tears during a match,
had to halt play briefly because she looked over and
guess who walked in and sat down opposite her bench
to watch her match Her ex boyfriend, And apparently this
(01:05:39):
had her completely shook again. She had to grab a
towel and wipe away the tears from her face. She
was so shaken by this, and she had to apologize
to the chair umpire for the delay in the match
and then resumed playing. And she was able, I believe,
to end up winning that match and overcome those emotions.
This one strikes me is strange, and she was asked
(01:06:01):
about it afterwards. She says that quote he sometimes shows
up at places where he shouldn't, and that startled me
a bit. I told him to leave. He didn't, but
later he did go. It was hard to focus in
that moment.
Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
What the hell? Why do you not have a restraining order?
Speaker 7 (01:06:17):
What do you guys make of this?
Speaker 6 (01:06:18):
And they even said that players are allowed to basically
have a list of people they want banned from their matches,
but she has not and didn't going forward put his
name on this list.
Speaker 8 (01:06:32):
Secretly wanted him to show up.
Speaker 6 (01:06:34):
Maybe it did not look like it, given the look
on her face and the tears that instantly started rolling
out of her eyes. Let me ask you, ladies, this,
would it derail your focus? I mean, think about what
focus it takes to be playing in a sport like tennis,
where it's just you against another person. Would it completely
derail you if a particular X of yours just sat
(01:06:55):
down in the crowd and started watching.
Speaker 8 (01:06:57):
Yes, especially if it was recent. If it's the person
you were just dating and you broke up, yeah, don't
show up.
Speaker 7 (01:07:04):
Okay, But what about now in your life? Now?
Speaker 6 (01:07:07):
Think about maybe an ex that you had or somebody
you dated it one time, they sit down and you
see them and they see you.
Speaker 7 (01:07:13):
Would you be able to go on plane? Or would
it just bring I don't think it would.
Speaker 2 (01:07:16):
It would completely derail me a remant. It's tears, but
I think it would be a major distraction because I'm like,
what are they doing here? What reason do you have
to be here?
Speaker 7 (01:07:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:07:26):
Yeah, what are you plotting? What are you thinking?
Speaker 7 (01:07:28):
It would be? It would be.
Speaker 6 (01:07:30):
Strange, But I'd be like, watch this and then you
just double fault.
Speaker 7 (01:07:35):
I don't know what that means when it sounds bad.
It is it is?
Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
Yeah, what does that mean?
Speaker 8 (01:07:40):
It's bad? Pretty sure?
Speaker 3 (01:07:42):
It's when you you don't know, just.
Speaker 2 (01:07:43):
That you don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:07:46):
Okay, that would be me, That would.
Speaker 7 (01:07:48):
Be me like that.
Speaker 6 (01:07:50):
Yeah, I mean I can't understand how you be rattled,
but like I want to know the backstory, don't you
worre She's instantly crying the second.
Speaker 3 (01:07:56):
That's how you know it's bad?
Speaker 7 (01:07:58):
How is he not on.
Speaker 6 (01:07:58):
The put him on the left. Don't let this guy
in if you like she said, he sometimes shows up
to places where he shouldn't be. Yeah, make sure he
can't go to those places then, right.
Speaker 2 (01:08:08):
I didn't know tennis was this juicy, Like I'm not
really here so much for the sport, but I love
all like the reality like TV stuff going on.
Speaker 7 (01:08:15):
Very interesting, im that I like it.
Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
Yeah, all the juicy stuff.
Speaker 8 (01:08:20):
I know you're going to be watching.
Speaker 2 (01:08:21):
No, no, no, no, I'm busy that day.
Speaker 7 (01:08:23):
Yeah, I can't watching tennis.
Speaker 2 (01:08:24):
Yeah, I think why Today's how is trenday in coming up?
Speaker 1 (01:08:28):
The JV show on Wild ninety four nine, y.
Speaker 7 (01:08:31):
You showshit boy and a nice especial.
Speaker 11 (01:08:33):
Okay, Steve, I don't wish my daughter Harper a happy
first day of seventh grade. Oh my gosh, junior high man,
I guess you started starting mo to school last year,
but then, you know, junior high whatever, But seventh grade
is crazy.
Speaker 14 (01:08:47):
Time is flying.
Speaker 11 (01:08:49):
I hope you have a wonderful days on Flower. I
love you and can't wait to hear about all about
your first day.
Speaker 7 (01:08:54):
Hope you' all have a good day too.
Speaker 6 (01:08:56):
All right, right, oh, first day of seventh grade all.
And second of all, you know that first to seventh
grade that's a scary one gonna make or break, you know. Yeah,
you slip and fall or get stuffed into a locker.
After that, you're a social titanic and nobody will want
to hang out with you.
Speaker 7 (01:09:14):
But your life going forward is absolutely ruined.
Speaker 6 (01:09:16):
Scaring her, I'm kidding, she's gonna have a great first day.
Speaker 7 (01:09:19):
Can I ask one other question?
Speaker 6 (01:09:20):
Yeah, somebody's going back to school on September second?
Speaker 7 (01:09:24):
What year is it? Nineteen eighty five? Like we haven't
we gone back to school this late?
Speaker 6 (01:09:29):
Like forever everybody started mid August?
Speaker 7 (01:09:32):
Did they miss the first couple of weeks of school? Honest?
Speaker 5 (01:09:38):
It's all the stuff you need to know.
Speaker 7 (01:09:40):
What's hot in.
Speaker 5 (01:09:41):
Music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories happening
today in the Bay.
Speaker 2 (01:09:46):
The Fifth Harmony reunited over the weekends.
Speaker 3 (01:09:50):
The ladies they all got together for a surprise.
Speaker 2 (01:09:52):
Performance at the Jonahs Brothers Concert in Dallas. This is
on Sunday. They performed their biggest hits, but one person
was missing.
Speaker 6 (01:10:01):
It doesn't sound very Fifth Harmony to me. It sounds
like Fourth Harmony.
Speaker 2 (01:10:05):
Camilik Abeo was not there. It's unclear if she was
even invited to be a part of this reunion or
if she was and there were some scheduling conflicts. I
saw that she performed somewhere like the previous day. But
I mean, it doesn't seem that there's any bad blood
because she did leave a comment like she reacted to
the reunion. She left to comment on a post and
she just left like heart emojis, So.
Speaker 6 (01:10:26):
I don't know, but those could be sarcastic heart emojis.
Speaker 1 (01:10:28):
We don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:10:29):
But there was a big clue earlier in the day
that something was going to happen because they're a Twitter
account posted for the first time in seven years.
Speaker 3 (01:10:36):
It's been seven years since they broke up.
Speaker 7 (01:10:38):
Oh man, that long.
Speaker 6 (01:10:39):
Yeah, And when they came out to perform their biggest hits?
Did anyone remember any of their biggest hits? Because like,
jes how many of their biggest hits?
Speaker 9 (01:10:45):
Can you name the one that's like you don't got
to go to work, work, work.
Speaker 2 (01:10:49):
See work from home?
Speaker 6 (01:10:51):
Yeah that she couldn't even name them for the song,
and I was on a total of zero that I
could name. Well, I'm just wondering because like when you
go away on the spotlight for some minutes, like we've
moved on, we have new we have new pop stars
that we're all fans of, you know, like that's a
long that's a long layoff. And plus they were always
so jealous of Camilla Cobeo's success, and she just left
(01:11:13):
a couple of salty heart emojis like ha ha, look
at your little show.
Speaker 2 (01:11:18):
I know I only know two songs when being honest
worth it?
Speaker 8 (01:11:22):
Oh oh yeah, oh yeah yeah, let me.
Speaker 2 (01:11:27):
Yeah see that one? Graham, what do you have in trendy?
Speaker 17 (01:11:32):
All right?
Speaker 6 (01:11:32):
Really quick, big headline this morning, federal judge just ruled
the President's use of National Guard troops during those LA
immigration enforcement protests was in fact illegal. But of course
we also know that the White House will be appealing
that ruling, but very big headline this morning. All right,
in the era of everything getting more expensive, McDonald's has
just decided to take things in the opposite direction. Starting
(01:11:52):
September eighth, McDonald's is going to offer extra extra value
meals with select andres like a big mac egg McMuffin
or a mccrispy sandwich with meatium fries, hash browns are
a drink. Prices are going to vary by location, but
they say they're gonna cost fifteen percent less.
Speaker 3 (01:12:08):
Than there is that enough to really make a difference.
Speaker 6 (01:12:11):
Well, they say to kick off the promotion, they're gonna
do an eight dollars big mac meal or a five
dollars sausage McMuffin meal for a limited time, although customers
in California, Alaska, and Hawaii are gonna.
Speaker 7 (01:12:22):
Have to pay one dollar more for those meals.
Speaker 6 (01:12:23):
So here in California, a nine dollars big mac meal
or a five dollars sausage McMuffin meal.
Speaker 2 (01:12:29):
And it still sounds really expensive.
Speaker 6 (01:12:30):
In response to McDonald's seen declining sales amongst just everybody
as things have gotten more and more expensive, is this
enough to draw you back in and a nine dollars
big mac meal, so no, I'm still not in.
Speaker 9 (01:12:44):
I looked it up in a big Mac meal in
twenty ten cost around four dollars and nineteen cents.
Speaker 7 (01:12:50):
Right. My grandparents used to tell me I was in
diapers at the time. Probably yea, but yeah, soh yeah this.
Speaker 2 (01:12:57):
Is still double but we were paying fifteen years ago,
ten years ago.
Speaker 8 (01:13:01):
I'm still going though, for the big Mac.
Speaker 2 (01:13:02):
I've never had a big Mac, so I can't.
Speaker 3 (01:13:05):
Conversation.
Speaker 7 (01:13:06):
It's too much.
Speaker 6 (01:13:07):
She wouldn't like it because it has cheese on it,
and it has special sauce, and we know Selena doesn't
like sauces and cheeses.
Speaker 2 (01:13:12):
And stuff, so it just too much of everything.
Speaker 8 (01:13:14):
I guess I'd rather you not have it, because then
you would bash it.
Speaker 6 (01:13:17):
Right now, I don't want to. Yeah, you can't besmirch
the great name right of the big Man.
Speaker 2 (01:13:21):
Now I'm going to try it, and I will besmirch
the good name of the Big Mac no tomorrow morning.
Speaker 6 (01:13:25):
But to just this point, and that's what a lot
of people don't realize about the prices of everything these days.
Speaker 7 (01:13:31):
Real estate, you name it, fast food prices whatever.
Speaker 6 (01:13:34):
Look at what minimum wage and just average wages have
done over that same time period. If the price of
the big mac meal has doubled over the last you know,
ten plus years, your salary has doubled in the last
ten years. And when they talk about things like inflation
and stuff like that, meaning, oh, inflation is only three percent,
that means everything's getting three percent more expensive every year.
Did your job give you at least a three percent
(01:13:56):
raise every single year just to keep up with that?
Some companies do, most of them don't. So you're spending
in buying power gets less and less and less with
every minute that passes. Meanwhile, billionaires, we're about to see trillionaires,
you know, like, but you know, let's just all sit
back and have fun on our Instagram.
Speaker 8 (01:14:13):
Yeah, and I guess buy more lottery tickets.
Speaker 6 (01:14:15):
And we'll buy and we'll buy lottery tickets so we
could dream about being Well, you wouldn't even be a billionaire,
sorry to say, because they takes a bunch in Texas.
If you want billion you won't be a billionaire. But
you do have a lot of money. But I mean,
all right, anyways.
Speaker 1 (01:14:29):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.
Speaker 2 (01:14:31):
Thanks hanging out with the JV show. We had a
great long holiday weekend. I'm Selena Graham and I'm Jess.
All right, so every Monday except today's a Tuesday, but
every day we come back from a weekend, we bring
our photos from home. They are posted now on JV
Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (01:14:44):
