before at seven o'clock and the head of trust in
safety for TikTok, Susie Loftus, was in Cincinnati yesterday talking
about safety data underage users of TikTok.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
TikTok is safe. I mean, we have spent two billion
dollars this year to build out our trust and safety efforts.
If you are between thirteen and fifteen, your account is
automatically private. Only your friends can comment on your videos,
and for under eighteen's you can't go live.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
You know, we had talked about it on the show
when the news broke that they were banning TikTok from
the US unless the Chinese parent company Byte Dance could
sell it. And here's the status on that.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
We're challenging in the courts. It's unconstitutional.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Like I said, when that happened, I didn't think TikTok
was just gonna boom disappear from your app. But I
know a lot of small business users use the platform
to you know, sell This is huge, but I don't
think it's really stopped a lot of people. At least
an hour. Demographic from using the app courtesy a wowt

announced earlier this year, they just signed a deal with
Amazon that their podcast will be worth one hundred million dollars.
That story broke yesterday, and according to this report, they'll
have the rights to all the video and audio connected
to The New Heights with Jason and Travis, so they

can cash in on everything that they've done in the
past as well, including when Jason and Travis We're at
u SEE doing New Heights Live and then we had
that Travis Kelsey graduation.

Who I love that. I think it's I think it
makes total sense. The podcast has done really well, It's
very very entertaining, and everyone loves it. It most certainly
got the Taylor Swift lift in the beginning. But I
think that anyone that consumes the podcast now doesn't just

do it because of Taylor. It's because the content and
the conversation.
