Speaker 1 (00:00):
Because you're waking up with five in the morning, don't
forget coming up in a few minutes. I have your
chance to win Lotto tickets. She's coming Friday, November one,
but you'll need the keyword flight mayor to win them.
I'll take flight nightmare or flight mayre combined. Really, whatever
you want, it's up to you. I had mentioned this
(00:24):
earlier this week that I was flying back to Massachusetts
to help my dad and my family with some stuff.
If you listened to yesterday's show, We're going to clean
out the house. We're going to clean out the hoarder house.
And because it was so last minute, I had to
book a budget airline, which I've had great experiences with,
(00:44):
but every time you hit that purchase button, you're like,
let me hold my breath. And it's a financial thing one,
but two, it's the only airline that's flying non stop
to my destination. And I'm at the point where I
would rather fly NonStop, like regardless, I don't care if
I to sit on the wing to get there.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
If it's NonStop, we'll go with it. But I'm taking an.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Airline that I've never heard of in my life. In
my life, it's called Breeze Airways. Sounds a lot like
for Breeze Airlines, for Breeze Airways. Who knows I could
be flying in a for Breeze air canister back to Providence, Massachusetts.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Well, let's hope I get there. You know.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
The reason why we're talking about it this morning, though,
is because the news always does this.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
They're like, it's the busiest travel day.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Of the air and I'm like, really, today is for
the holiday weekend. Anyone that's planning on going anywhere for
laborden is, it's typically like today that you fly out.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
So I'm like, oh God, here we go.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
Not to fear monger before we all start to travel around, driving, flying,
whatever the case may be. But I got this talk back,
and I've been kind of saving it until this point
in the week.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
But this scirl.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Had so many problems with the airline that she was
flying that someone recommended that she'd go public with it,
which is what's something I've heard before, Right, if you
have problems flying, you post about.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
It on social media. If you can't get.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Any representatives to help you, right, if you just kind
of keep getting the airline run around.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
But it ended up in her getting scammed.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
I don't know if that was the best response, because
I got like all these scammers that were pretending to
be representatives and wasted an.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Hour and a half on the phone of my.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Kid free night arguing with them. And then he was
like trying to make me download all these apps, and
I was like, this is like weird. I'm like, just
send me a check like a normal company. I'm not
downloading any apps or any of this, and he's like,
just fill out this form. I did fill out the form,
but it didn't really have any personal information, like no
bank account or anything.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
But I was like, why.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Do I need to download these apps and approve it
to link it to my bank? And I was like,
this is so sketchy. I was like, you're a And
then I spent an additional two hours on the phone
and they just kept transferring me, transferring me, giving me
the run around, and then they're like, well, you know
it's related to weather, and I said that's fine, but
(03:15):
also people's time is precious. The time the days that
I've had to miss work on top of the fact
I didn't get a meal voucher, I didn't get a
hotel voucher, nothing, and on the website. It says that
you know, they're supposed to compensate you for so many
delays in so many hours, and I've gotten absolutely zero.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
This is making me nervous about flying for Breezy Wheezy
Airways tonight to go see my dad. Oh my god,
send me well wishous.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
So flight mare is.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
The keyword for the lotto tickets in a few minutes.
That's the first time I've heard of that scam though.
That's a new level of scamming where you post something
about an airline on social media, then you have people
calling you to give you a refund, but they want
your bank account information.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
We talk about it so that no one falls, you know,
victim to this. But if something has happened with you,
if you've had even maybe just a flight knit and
flight near recently five one three seven, four nine, one
oh seven one.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Now, good morning.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
You know how convenient that airplanes just played and that's
what we're in the midst of talking about on the
show this morning. My friend Ben messaged me and said
Breeze Airwaves was actually a decent experience newer planes. I said, okay, great,
we've got We've got something on our side for tonight.
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
The keyword is flight mare.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
If you're just joining us and you want to win
the Lotto tickets, you have a chance to win those.
In just a few minutes we were talking about the
just plane and flight and air stories and thanks for
putting my mind at ease, Ben, I really appreciate that.
I got a talk back from someone that said they
had some problem with a different airline and so they
posted about it on social media and scammers ended up
(05:06):
hitting her up on Facebook and lucky, lucky enough, she
was good to catch it. But hopefully wish me lock
on easy breezy tonight. Hopefully there's people not like this,
you know, so people just.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Wake up and be drunk and going to the airport
like this is embarrassing, first of all. Second of all,
how about two seats on the plane?
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Oh pac Man Jones, Sorry, your chance to win the
Lotto tickets.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Let's do it right now. Five win three seven four
nine one oh seven one.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
If you have the keyword I mentioned earlier in the show,
five win three seven four nine one o seven one,
good luck,
