Speaker 1 (00:01):
Glenn. You need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tif On.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
A shooter is in custody. His name is Cot That's
Colt Gray. He is a fourteen year old student here
at the high school. He will be charged with murder
and he will be tried as an adult.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Well, first of all, good morning, and that is not
the way I wanted to start off our Thursday morning.
But by now you've seen the headline out of Atlanta yesterday.
It's really out of winder Georgia, which is about an
hour or so outside of Atlanta, at Appalachi High School,
where now two students are dead, to fourteen year old

(00:44):
students and two teachers. We just got back to school
and we're reporting, or I'm reporting, rather another mass shooting
out of school. And I don't know if they're similar
to the Midwest like us, where they went back to
school a couple of weeks ago, or maybe they're more
like the coastal New England cities where they go back

(01:05):
really today and early, you know, late last week. Whatever
the case may be. School is just back in session.
One thing I can tell you though, is I'm reading
headlines that the boy and his father were both apprehended
by authorities about a year ago on something similar. I
don't know the types of investigations that are done in

(01:27):
these scenarios, but nothing ever came from it until yesterday.
You heard him there talking about how he's fourteen years
old and he's going to be tried as an adult,
and I just have mixed feelings. I'm sure I have
mixed feelings on the whole situation every time I have
to report one of these. I'll tell you this, though,

(01:49):
thoughts are with the community and really anyone that fears
going to school in general. Like I don't have any words.
I hope you can hear by the sincerity in my voice,
but I don't have the actual words to tell you
on how to manage something like that. When there's more
on that one, I'll have it for you. Second and
three things you need to know this morning. A situation

(02:12):
I said I would not talk about, but it just
keeps haunting us, and I'm just gonna play it. But
here's the latest update on Jamar Chase, coming from Joe Burrow.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Our relationship hasn't changed. I'm not getting involved in his business.
I'm going about mine and trying to get better every
day and going out and getting ready to play for Sunday.
So I saw him out there today. You know, he
looks fast, strong, like he always does.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
No, I know he's been doing what he needs to
do to stay ready if he needs to be ready.
So I'm confident that if he does go out there
on Sunday, then he'll be the Jamar we all know.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
I don't know Jamar anymore. I don't know. I feel
like I haven't really seen the man, so I don't
know what type of Jamar we have anymore. Listen, I'm
sure the people that are in charge of whatever is
going on at pay Court Stadium know what they're doing.
I simply do not. I don't understand it. I thought
you had the contract for another year or two, but
yet we're fighting for like more of a contract. Again.

(03:17):
Sports contracts not my thing. However, parties are my things.
So let's talk about that. Going outside of pay Court Stadium,
lots and gates and everything open four hours early. John
Jones Jungle Zone. It kicks off outside of Philson. You'll
see him as you saunter into the stadium. By now
you've already heard it. But we're opening an orange I
talked about it at length yesterday that Joey chess numb

(03:40):
is our halftime performer. I guess is the best way
that you could say what that is? And then what
was the other thing I wanted to mention it? Oh? Yeah,
Dan Hurley is our ruler of the jungle. NOI chest
nutt They tried to cancel the Hot Doug contest on him.
He wouldn't let it happen. This guy, Joey Chesnut, the

(04:01):
most American Americans ever lived. I don't care who does.
He took down Kobayashi Japan. I don't care if it's isis.
I don't give the Taliban.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
I'll give Putin if we have a problem America sticking
Joey chessnat.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
All right? Uh Dare I say that Joe looks good
right now? The blonde hair has grown out and it's
a little less jarring with those darker roots. Okay, like
a guy's version of a boliage. All right, Lastly, in
three things you need to know this morning, let's talk
about Jamie Fox. Do you remember was this a year ago?
Time blends At this point I talked about how he

(04:34):
had this medical scare, but nothing was really coming out
of it. But it seemed really scary, Like our thoughts
were with Jamie and his family. We weren't sure if
it was gonna go that way or not. Then he
was outspotted playing like pickleball a week later. Well, now
we're finally gonna get some answers, and it's coming in
the form of a live show. It's called What had

(04:56):
Happened was an evening with Jamie fox Let me read
some the caption for you. Join us for an unforgettable
one man show as Jamie Foxx takes the stage to
share his journey through a serious health scare, filled with humor,
heart and inspiration. This is happening in next month, I
believe in October in Atlanta. All right, that is three
