Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
It's three things with tiff On Kiss when I was
seven one.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
All right, good morning, we're just before seven o'clock.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
We have so much to unpack, including the Bengals, Shannon Sharp,
the VMA Awards, and more. So let's let's just start
with the Bengals. This Sunday, we play the Chiefs. It's
away in the four o'clock hour. The Bengals announced yesterday
that they're holding a watch party. It's up to you
to decide whether or not this is a value to
(00:35):
you to go this weekend for this.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
I like the idea watch parties.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
The doors open at three point thirty for twenty five
kickoff tickets are ninety nine dollars.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
For the watch party.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Okay, within that ninety nine, though, twenty five of it
is included for discounted concessions and a twenty five dollars
Pro Shop gift card. So you're doing the math here,
because I'm not FIFTYUS ninety nine, all right, So it's
about forty nine bucks to go into pay Court Stadium
(01:10):
to watch the game on the JumboTron.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
I just don't know if that's of value to you.
I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
I like energy, excitement and crowds and a good time.
I could see myself doing this. I don't know if
I would in the second game of the season after
what happened with our loss against the Patriots. Definitely would
have done it for a playoff game. Absolutely, I think
that would have been a good deal for a playoff
game second Sunday of the season. Not quite sure if
that would have been a good fit for me, especially
(01:39):
if you have family. So if you've got a family
of four, it's going to cost you four hundred dollars
to go watch the game on a JumboTron in pay
Corse Stadium. I could see how that wouldn't work out
for someone.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
I can't see that.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
But just know that that's available to you and tickets
are on sale on their website.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Second and three things you need to.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Know this morning, Let's talk about the VMA's last night.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Taylor didn't sweep, but she won a lot.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
Now, you have to remember that this is a fan
voted award, so if you love an artist, you have
to go to MTV's website and vote for them. Taylor
picked up Artist, Best Collab, Best Pop, Best direction and
best editing for Fortnite, which is a song to me
that kind of came and went. There were so many
other good ones, in fact, something I didn't agree with.
(02:25):
Taylor also won Song of the Summer, But again you
have to remember that this is fan voted. She had
several different opportunities for acceptance speeches, but the one that's
trending the most this morning is this one.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
And we'd be done with that take. I would always
just hear like someone like cheering, and like that one
person was my boyfriend, Travis. Everything this man touches turns
to happiness and fun and magic.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
So I want to thank him for adding that to
our shoot. Really, she feels like the people's Princess to
me these days.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
And I love when people show public affection for the
people that they're in love with.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
So love it. Love that for you.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
If that's what you want to do, it's your award, right,
it's your opportunity. Can you imagine, though, winning so many
awards that every time you go up on stage you
get to address a different thing. This is why I
called her the People's Princess.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Waking up this morning in New York on September eleventh.
I've just been thinking about what happened twenty three years ago,
everyone who lost a loved one and everyone.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
That we lost, and.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
That is the most important thing about today, and everything
that happens tonight falls behind now.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Other notable moments that I loved outside of the winners,
Sabrina Carpenter. By the way, one Best Song for Espresso
du Alipa picked up an award, Eminem picked up an award.
Megan the Stallion hosted, Eminem performed it opened up the
show Chapel Ron one Best New Artist.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
I'm not surprised about that one.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
I'll have more in her later on, but I want
to chit chat about Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom. Orlando
Bloom was the one that gifted her the Video Vanguard Award.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
Here's his intro.
Speaker 5 (04:05):
I know her as a mother, as a partner. He
brings that same love and joy to our family in
moments when we most needed a music and the remarkable
world she creates it brought a sense of joy and laughter,
inspiring generations of people from all over the world.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
She loves with.
Speaker 5 (04:27):
Her whole heart and it's kind of irresistible. I see
her reflected everywhere in our home, in her love for
her work, but especially in her love for her fans.
Congratulations on this on a baby, I'm so proud of you.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
One four threes so sweet. I just think that that's
so sweet.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
And then she of course performed a bunch of her
hits that everyone loves, and here's her acceptance.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Thank you to MySpace, Warped Tour.
Speaker 5 (04:52):
And all the bygone places where I found a voice, identity.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
And a community so early on.
Speaker 5 (04:58):
Thank you to the friends that we there when my
Jetta was repossessed.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
We'll have more and her later on the show.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
Katy Perry gets so much hate on the internet, and
I just I don't buy into it.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
I love her. I love Katie. Her album one four
three does come out next weekend. All right.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
Lastly, Shannon Sharp, we cannot play the audio on the
air because it is inappropriate. I'm just confused on how
one goes live on Instagram.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
You can tell that. And I even said this.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
When I was talking to my friend Sarah, I said this,
this is out of pocket for Shannon Sharp to like
pull up publicity sun. I genuinely think this man accidentally
went live. And then he came on to social and
addressed it. He got in front of it right away.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
Here he is the entire world to hear. I'm embarrassed
for a lumber of reasons. People count on Shannon to
be professionally at all times, and I always try to
be professional with all times, even when I'm behind closed doors.
I'm very disappointed to myself. Not for the act. I
think there are millions of billions of people of consenting
age that engage in activities, but but to have your
(06:04):
most intimate detail on the audio to be heard, I'm
disappointed to myself. I little called them, I called my sister,
my friends. Obviously my friends reached out, but god, this
was not staged. Came in, I threw my phone on
the bed, gauged in an activity. I did not know
ig lib. I've never been on IGI Live.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
I just I.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
Felt bad for the man because he had said it himself.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
You know, it's an embarrassing moment.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
It's a vulnerable bonut between you know, and it's have
been acted with someone and then it just went out
on social media and you can never ever ever take
it back. I'm glad he got in a front ahead
of it. His team, though, did post on social media
saying that he got hacked and I think that's just
because they were trying to do pr and he said, no,
let's just be honest about this, all right. That's three
(06:51):
things you need to know for the twelfth of September
coming up at seven twenty. Is there a food that
you could eat over and over and over again every
single day of your life and I get sick of it?
Speaker 1 (07:01):
If so talk backwards.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
If on iHeart Radio, you'll see the microphone next to
the play button, because we're gonna get into what meal,
what restaurant this one person went to for like an
entire year,
