Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with Tip. Good morning. We're just before eight o'clock.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
And this Jon bon jovie scene feels as if it's
like something out of a movie. While filming a music
video in Nashville this week, I guess the music videos
for the song People's House, he saved a woman from
(00:32):
trying to jump off of a bridge. Now this feels
like very cinematic to me, as far as this would
be a scene from a movie, like you would think
it was a scene from the music video maybe, but
this was a real life thing. And the video of
it is kind of far away. You can tell that
fans kind of captured it from like a butt like
maybe behind the bridge.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
So there's no audio.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
I have no audio for you from him of him
talking about the scene or anything like that. You can
know what, I'll just take the workout and the effort
out of it for you and put it in our stories.
At Kiss one oh seven, but you can see him
kind of walk up to this woman who looks like,
you know, like she's gonna jump off this bridge, and
he consoles her, has a conversation with her. The chief
(01:16):
of police, his name is John Drake down to Nashville's.
You know, didn't really he had no idea what she had,
what he had said to her. But essentially John bon
Jovi saved this woman's life and saved her from making
a mistake that you can never take back. And listen,
if you know somebody that's struggling with mental health and
is going through a mental health crisis of their own,
(01:38):
it's definitely not something to joke about or laugh about.
And you just know how much pain, of course is
in their heart to make a decision like that. But
imagine is that not a sign from the universe when
if you were going to do something like that and
then the next thing you know, John bon Jovi is
walking up to you, and.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
I mean, come on, whew new leaf on life. All right.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Second, and three things you need to know this morning.
Let's run through the VMA's last night some of the
major category winners. You have to remember, because I was
annoyed at this, you have to remember that this is
a fan voted award. Okay, so you have to literally
go to MTV's website and vote for your favorites. Taylor
won Best Video, Best Artist, Best Collaboration for Fortnite with
(02:42):
post Malone.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
That's also the one that won her for.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Best Video, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Editing, and one
I highly disagree with, but again it's fan voted. She
won Song of Summer. Okay, this is what it's like
to be Taylor Swift. When you win so many awards,
you get to go up there and talk about so
many different things every time you go up And this
is the one that's getting a lot of attention this morning.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
And we'd be done with that take.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
I would always just hear someone like cheering, and like that.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
One person was my boyfriend, Travis.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
So I want to thank him for adding that to.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Katy Perry was presented with the Video Vanguard Awards. She
performed some of her favorite hits I had played in
Our Last Hour Orlando Bloom presenting her with the award,
and I love that her album one four three comes
out next weekend and I'm looking.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
Forward to it.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Katie gets a lot of hate on the internet and
I don't buy into it. And then another notable moment,
let's see Sabrina Carpenter also won the Song of the
year for Espresso. I think that was the right choice.
Chapel Roone won Best New Artist. But before I play
her acceptance speech, she had a little moment, a little
tiff on the red carpet ahead of time, where she
(03:56):
essentially told the paparazzi to go f off.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
They can be a little rressive at those shows.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
And for all the queer kids in the Midwest watching
right now, I see you. I understand you because I'm
one of you, and don't ever let anyone tell you
that you can't be exactly who you want to be.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Chapel Roan came out of nowhere. It feels like that
this year. But of course success is not built overnight.
She's had years in the industry and the business. It's
just stuff that we, if you're not a diehard fan,
didn't know about.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
But congratulations to her.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Best New Artist is one of my favorites that I
look out for in award shows. All right, lastly, in
three things you need to know this morning, this is
up to you. You have to decide whether or not
if this fits into your budget, in your lifestyle, if
you're interested in it. But the Bengals are hosting a
watch party this weekend against the Chiefs at pay Course Stadium.
The cost is ninety nine dollars. Like I said, decisions
(04:59):
need to be made by you. With that in the
ninety nine dollars does include twenty five bucks for discounted
concessions and twenty five dollars towards the pro shop, So
forty nine dollars to go into pay Court to watch
the game. If you have a family of four, I'm
assuming the math on that is close to four hundred dollars.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
Again, decisions need to be made by you, all right.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
That is three things you need to know for the
twelfth of September coming up in the beginning of our
eight o'clock hour, I'm always commercial free. And if you're
like this girl is a little crazy, but I like her.
You can always hear our content, our conversation and our
music by searching Kiss one oh seven one on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Good morning,
