Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with in the morning kiss on seven one.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
We're talking about stupid reasons for being late or missing work.
I was late once, luckily not that late, but I
woke up an hour after my alarm went off to
find out that my cat was laying on top of
my phone muffling the alarm, so I didn't hear it. Luckily,

(00:28):
my boss is nice and she just laughed at me.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
First of all, thank you for the talk back with Tim.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
When you search kiss on iHeartRadio, it's an alternative way
to contribute to the show, especially if you just don't
have it in you today to call. I get that,
especially after a Bengals loss. We're trying our best to
giggle through it. And that's why I figured Monday's a
good day to revisit some of the excuses that we've used,
whether they are true or false, as to why you're

(00:54):
running late this morning. You might you might even need
to borrow a few of these if you're speeding down
seventy one one right now.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
There was a time at my last job where I
had to work a Sunday for a few hours, and
the night before I had gone out for my best
friend's birthday and obviously drank quite a bit, so I
still went in on Sunday, but I was throwing up
like every five minutes. I was throwing up in the
bathroom in a trash can, so to the point where
the supervisor who was there with me was just like, honestly,

(01:23):
just go.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Home being that violently hungover and having to function, even
if it has nothing to do with work, and you
just have to live a life. Maybe it's a parent. Oh,
it's brutal. I feel for you. We got time for
at least one more. Also, the Nelly tickets are a
few minutes away, and you will need the keyword late

(01:44):
to win them. And of course you can understand why.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
I was in high school my best friend called her
boss and told her that she had explosive diarrhea and
couldn't come to work. And of course it worked like
a charm because it's her boss. Can this day prove it.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Because you're waking up with Tiff in the morning on
kiss one oh seven to one, Hi.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Good morning, I'm hoping you have a keyword for me.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
It's late.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Congratulations you're going to Nelly. Oh my gosh, thank you
so much.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
You're welcome it's our final, like, hoorah, Great American Ballpark,
last post game concert. I'm gonna be doing Split the
Pot that night, so I hope to see you.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Oh, I'm so excited. What's your name with neighborhood? You
waking up with me in this morning?

Speaker 5 (02:24):
I'm for it.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Well, Casey, thanks so much for listening to the show.
We're gonna have ourselves in time. If you took an
L on these tickets, we'll have them every day this
week at eight thirty.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
If you want to set a reminder coming up next.
