Speaker 1 (00:01):
Because you're waking up with fourth in the morning.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Well, every weekend this happens, where it goes so quick,
and we arrived back here early on a Monday morning.
This one hurts just a little bit. Though, this one
hurts a little bit. I'm such a boomer when it
comes to cable and streaming. I don't know how it

(00:25):
is I make it through the life that I do.
But I did not watch yesterday's game, or at least
the second half of it, because I just don't know
what channel to watch football on anymore. It feels like
it changes weekly, so I don't know which service to
even free trial to watch the game. And let me
tell you, yesterday was a game well spent at home.

(00:46):
If you know, you know, we're waking up losers two
weeks in a row.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Monday's hurt a little differently because of that.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
But I had to check the score on Google like
to lose her because I didn't. I didn't know how
to watch it, and I came home at the second half.
I had listened to the first half of it while
driving home on WEBN because you can, you know, obviously
hear the game there. And then I got home, went

(01:16):
to go put it on. I was like, I'm not
doing this, I'm not paying for this.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
I hope you had a good weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Despite the fact there were weekend up losers this morning.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
At least Taylor Swift was there.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tif on kiss when I was seven.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
One in the bushes where this guy was is an
eight K forty seventh style rifle with a scope.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Two backpacks which.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Were hung on the fifths that had a ceramic tile
at them, had a go pro which he was going
to take pictures of.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
That part was confusing to me. We'll get to that
in a second. High Good morning, it's Monday. Actually, all
major reports for three at this hour are all from
me yesterday, Ryan Wesley Ralph from North Carolina who currently
lived in Hawaii, waking up in custy this morning after
an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at his
West Palm Beach golf course, reportedly convicted in two of

(02:19):
possession of a weapon of mass destruction after a three
hour standoff with police. The part that confused me is well, one,
how does one get that close? But again, we'll have
more on that a second two. The ceramic tile and
the GoPro. What I'm confused about the ceramic tile. I

(02:39):
don't understand that part, but the GoPro leads me to
believe that there was some sort of like content opportunity there,
which is just bizarre.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
The Secret Service agent that was on the course did
a fantastic job. What they do is they have an
agent that jumps one hole ahead of time toward a
president was out and he was able to spot this
rifle barrel sticking out of the fence and immediately engage
that individual, at which time the individual took off.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
So the suspect took off and it was like a
pedestrian that caught him. There's some fire over the Secret
Service right now for not being able to catch this sooner.
And I guess just secret Service is limited for the
running mate, or not the running mate, but the.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Candidates.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
So you would think that there'd be around the clock
protection of them, but there is, but there isn't is
the vibe that I'm getting this morning from.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
The Secret Service.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
When there's more on that one, I'll have it for you.
Second and three things you need to know this morning.
We are waking up a loser to the Kansas City
Chiefs yesterday. You guys have to give me your full
input on it. I didn't watch the game. That's a
story for our seven o'clock hour. But here is Joe
Burrow on it being probably one of the tougher losses

(03:57):
of his career.

Speaker 5 (03:58):
It was frustrating as I've had.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Yeah, it's nice being back playing ball, but.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Didn't seem too happy, which I understand. Coach Zach Taylor
here on how we're moving forward.

Speaker 6 (04:11):
We keep growing, you know, that's what we do. You know,
it's we don't We're not a team right now that
takes pride in our losses. You know, we expect to win.
That's that's where we're at as a team. But there's
a lot of things to continue to build off of
that are going to lead towards a really good season.
We got to come back on Monday night football in
front of what I assume is going to be a
tremendous crowd, give us great energy and come back and

(04:32):
start pointing this thing in the right direction.

Speaker 7 (04:33):
You know.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
I like how we were able to keep up with
the Chiefs and we were leading that game from what
I saw, you know on social and checking the scores
and such throughout it, but.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
I feel like we just really needed that win.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
We come back and play the Commanders Monday night football,
all right, sports wise, since he didn't do so well
this weekend, the Reds ended up taking v L against
the Minnesota Twins n to Yesterday, they played the Braves
at six p forty. We're winding down our season. We
have a few home games less left this weekend, and

(05:08):
that's about it. And then I guess a congratulations to
FC Cincy for clinching a spot in the playoffs after
tying those zero to zero against Columbus on Saturday night,
the Energy n TQL Stadium was electric.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
I was there and I love that place. All right.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Finally, in three things you need to know this morning,
let's talk about the Emmys. A good chance you didn't
get to catch any of it on TV last night,
No surprise at the Morning Show picked up some awards.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
The Bear picked up quite a bit.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Showgun, which is a Hulu show, picked up quite a bit.
In fact, picked up the best like the Lead Actor
in the in the Drama Series. The Outstanding Drama Series
Overall Outstanding Comedy Series went to Hacks Jeremy Alan White
won Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, and The Baby

(05:58):
Reindeer Netflix movie also picked up.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
A few awards.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Eugene and Dan Levy the first father son duo to
ever host.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Here's a clip of their monologue. We're very, very excited
to be here tonight. I think most of you know
we are not stand up comedian.

Speaker 7 (06:15):
No.

Speaker 8 (06:15):
In fact, I wouldn't even really call us hosts. We're
more like, like what like actors acting like hosts, which
is a huge gamble for us. But if it goes
well tonight, my name is pronounced Levy, not.

Speaker 9 (06:27):
Levy, and if things go south, my name is pronounced Martin.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Short.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
All right, that is three things you need to know
for the sixteenth of September. Hey, if you had a
chance to catch some of my Instagram over the weekend,
you might have seen that I'm in the house hunting process.
If not, If you didn't, I'll explain a little bit
more coming up at seven twenty. I'm curious to know
how much is too much with your realtor, and I'm

(06:59):
wondering if I have gone too far. So hopefully you
can either rain me in or support me. The best
way to keep listening to Tiff in the Morning is
by searching Kiss one of seven one on iHeartRadio. I'm
sending you good vibes on this Monday.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
You're waking up with Tiff in the Morning on Kiss
one oh seven one. It is unsettling how quickly this
Monday morning came knocking.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
It's not anything new. We do the same thing every
single week.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
But I don't know something about this One man waking
up on a Monday after losing to the Chiefs not
always nice either.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
That's making it a little tough.

Speaker 7 (07:34):
You know.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
I didn't watch a single second of yesterday's game, and
I felt a little bit of like a little bit
of a remorse for that, not for lack of trying.
I just feel like football has gotten so challenging to
watch at home.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Hi.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
My friend Allison said to me yesterday, do you want
to take advantage of one last day and summer with me?

Speaker 3 (07:55):
And I said yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
So we went out on her boat, and so I
listened to the Bengals game when we were driving home
on WEBN.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
If you didn't know that, there you go. Just in case.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
You can always listen to the game on the radio.
But as soon as I got home, in the second half.
I went to go try to find it on whatever
channel I could and put it on. Now I don't
have cable, so I feel like such a boomer when
it comes to cable and streaming. There are certain ones
I buy into, certain ones I don't. I'm sorry, I
just don't want to buy. I think CBS is Paramount Plus.

(08:25):
I don't want to buy a Paramount Plus just to
watch the Bengals Chiefs game for the second half of it,
or even start a free trial, cause I don't necessarily
think I'm going to spend a lot of time on
Paramount and it felt like it would have been a
waste and we ended up taking the loss. So a
little bit of remorse from man.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Maybe I'm the bad jujo. Oh no, am I the
reason why we lost? Oh god, please don't put that
on me. Oh my god. We're in this together. Hopefully
you're off to a decent start. If not, we're commercial free.
I'd love to have you search kiss on iHeartRadio coming
up in two songs.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
How much is too much to ask of your real litter?

Speaker 1 (09:03):
You're waking up fifth in the morning time, kiss on.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Hi, good morning.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
I find that realtors are one of the hardest working
professions in Cincinnati, and I'm just curious how far is
too far to push your real litter or what you
put them through. Because I'm feeling a little bit guilty
this morning.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
If you didn't know this, and maybe.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
You didn't get a chance to catch some of my
stories over the weekend, if we're not connected by the way,
I'm at the TIF two f's Potter like the Wizard.
I'm in the house hunting process, first time for me,
and I've been in this for several months now, but
on a very slow, relaxed is the best way I

(09:47):
can put it search. It took me a while to
figure out what my budget was and then you know,
what does really owning a home mean? And once I
kind of got a grasp of that, I started exploring
a different neighborhood and it took me a little while
to kind of get acclimated with what are some of
the areas that I want to live in?

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Wait, bites, this isn't new to the show.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
We've talked about this before, but I felt really bad
at the end of last week because my real ator,
her name is Michelle. Michelle Sloane Sloan sells homes with Remax.
She has been so kind and helpful in answering my questions,
and in the first part of our journey together, we
would ride to the different homes together and then talk

(10:29):
through a lot of things, and I found that helpful.
There was this one property that had been in my
saved list on something that's called the MLS.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Maybe you've already bought a home, and you know what
I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Maybe your ears are perking up because you're like, ooh,
I'm thinking about buying a home.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
I'm thirty four. For reference.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
This time around, we've started driving ourselves separately, and there
is this one house that I just could not get
out of my brain. But I knew in the back
of my mind that it was too far from what
my daily life is that I most likely wasn't gonna
want to live there, but I really really wanted to

(11:08):
see the house. And so, of course Michelle is the
kindest hardworking realtor.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
On the planet.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
She's like, yeah, no problem, I'll set it up, let's
go see it, let's go do it. And I was like, Okay,
this is in Green Township, which I didn't know where
that was really Hello to the West Side. Thank you
for welcoming me, thank you for opening up your arms
to me, because it was new. You know, I had
to go down seventy five, which is a nightmare. Oh
my god, if you get stuck in seventy five every day.

(11:35):
I I'm sending good vibes now that I know what
the actual experience is like, because I did that in
the afternoon, so.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
I had the actary rushower. So it's this beautiful home, all.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
Brick, It's got everything that I feel like I want
in it, and I.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
Just really really wanted to go see it.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
And we as I'm driving out there, I knew, I
knew I'm not gonna go I'm not I'm not gonna
buy this house. There's no way, but I just kept
us going there anyways. So I wish the stories have
come and gone, but you know, maybe I'll repost them
for you in a reel or something so you can
get it like this house was just perfect you if
you've ever house hunted, cause there's times where you wish

(12:14):
that you could just pick the house up and put
it in the neighborhood that you want. I know, I
have a lot to learn in this process. But is
that my like one big hey, we can do this,
but you know you're not going to buy the house.
We can't do this anymore? Like how far is too
far to push your realtor? Because I felt bad and

(12:37):
I'm like new to this, so I don't know if it.
Can you go see whatever you want whenever you want
or is that rude? Like what is house buying etiquette?
Realtors hit me up? Five one three, seven, four nine,
one oh seven one. Because of course she was super nice.
She's like, no, you had to go, you had to
see it, you had to get it out of your brain.
But meanwhile, I'm like, well, like I you're you know,
you're working really hard, and I feel bad for pushing you.

(12:57):
Luckily it wasn't on a weekend, so it was like
in the middle of the afternoon on like a Thursday
or Friday. If you've ever purchased a home and you're
and you've had a similar experience to what I'm going
through right now, love to hear from you as well.
Five one three, seven, four nine one seven one House
Buying Etiquette and Cincy, please send Helen.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time Kiss
one O seven one.

Speaker 7 (13:24):
We're talking about stupid reasons for being late or missing work.
I was late once, luckily not that late, but I
woke up an hour after my alarm went off to
find out that my cat was laying on top of
my phone muffling the alarm, so I didn't hear it. Luckily,

(13:47):
my boss is nice and she just laughed at me.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
First of all, thank you for the talk back with Tim.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
When you search Kiss on iHeartRadio, it's an alternative way
to contribute to the show, especially if you just don't
have it in.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
You today to call. I get that, especially after a
Bengals loss. We're trying our best to giggle through it.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
And that's why I figured Monday's a good day to
revisit some of the excuses that we've used, whether they
are true or false, as to why you're running late
this morning. You might you might even need to borrow
a few of these if you're speeding down seventy one
right now.

Speaker 9 (14:19):
There was a time at my last job where I
had to work a Sunday for a few hours, and
the night before I had gone out for my best
friend's birthday and obviously drank quite a bit. So I
still went in on Sunday, but I was throwing up
like every five minutes. I was throwing up in the
bathroom in a trash can, so to the point where
the supervisor who was there with me was just like, honestly,

(14:42):
just go home.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Being that violently hungover and having to function, even if
it's it has nothing to do with work, and you
just have to live a life.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
Maybe it's a parent ooh, it's brutal. I feel for you.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
We got time for at least one more. Also, the
Nelly tickets are are a few minutes away, and you
will need the keyword late to win them. And of
course you can understand why.

Speaker 10 (15:05):
I was in high school my best friend called her
boss and told her that she had explosive diarrhea and
couldn't come to work. And of course it worked like
a charm, because what's her boss gonna day prove it.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
You're waking up with Siff in the morning on kiss one.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
O seven one, Hi, good morning, I'm hoping you have
a keyword for me.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
It's late. Congratulations you're going to Nellie. Oh my gosh,
thank you so much. You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
It's our final like hoorah, great American Ballpark, last postgame concert.
I'm gonna be doing Split the Pot that night, so
I hope to see you.

Speaker 9 (15:39):
Oh, I'm so excited.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
What's your name? What neighborhood? You waking up with me
in this morning.

Speaker 7 (15:45):
For it?

Speaker 3 (15:45):
Well, Casey, thanks so much for listening to the show.
We're going to have ourselves in time.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
If you took an l on these tickets, we'll have
them every day this week at eight thirty. If you
want to set a reminder coming up next, three things
you need to know.

Speaker 7 (15:57):
I.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Need to know She's got you. It's three things with
TIF on good morning.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
We're just before nine o'clock on this Monday. Blue skis
and sunshine are really the deal for the rest of
the week, starting off more fall fields and then summer
by the afternoon. That's typical for us at this time
with temperatures in the eighties. All right, Unfortunately, we're gonna
start off with yesterday's loss, a real tough win against
the Chiefs. Here's Joe Burrow on some of the criticisms
that he's been getting.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
Yeah, of course you missed that. I just missed playing
football and miss being out there with the guys. So
it's a luxury right now to be criticized by all
you guys about how we played on Sunday because I was,
you know, sending the wings for seven weeks last year.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
So I'm just excited to be out there.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
And then coach zt on Burrow's performance.

Speaker 6 (16:43):
So a chance to get a rhythm. We've got a
lot more points, you know, and so just again the
first drive getting points on the board just changes everything
for your team. And they're you know, when you're not
able to score until the second half last game, we
don't get a chance to get into a rhythm. So
this is back to the team that we know we're
gonna have.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
Yeah, I was the one that I wish we came
out the game with last week. Right, we can't go backwards,
we can only go forwards. But just it felt better,
at least at least some of the social stuff. Mike
addressed him in rick Owens. I wasn't surprised to see
Taylor Swift there.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
That was an obvious.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
She was dressed in a Chief's jersey dress, her mom
was there, she brought home. It kind of just seems
like Taylor's social circle is the one that goes to
all the NFL games.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
I mean, why not.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
That's what we do, right, We all gather with our
friends for the game. There's one other thing I wanted
to mention.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Oh yeah, yeah. Although we have this big.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Rivalry, but there's also this like love hate with the
Kelsey's because they graduated as Bearcats.

Speaker 3 (17:35):
I noticed that.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
Travis did show up to the game in a Bearcats hat.
There's a little scuffle, a little scuffy on the fields
between Jamar and Joe. From what I'm hearing, I had
to do with the refs. But you see Joe Burrow
just like shove Jamar Chase back. We're gonna play Monday
night football against the Commander's next. Congratulations to FC Cincy
for clinching the playoffs. Unfortuate didn't beat Columbus crew for

(18:02):
in hell Is Reel on Saturday night. They tied nothing,
but at least they clinched a spot. We love that
for them. And then unfortunately the Reds took the l yesterday.
They'll play again tonight at six forty. As we get
ready to wind down baseball for the year. Crazy how
quickly time passes. Nellie will be at Great American Ballpark
this Friday night, and I have tickets for you every
day at eight thirty on my show.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
I'm doing Split the Pot that night, all right.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
Second in three things you need to know this morning,
speaking of football and such, Usher has been kind of
torn around since he was the last Super Bowl halftime performer.
He's getting ready to pass the crown off to Kendrick Lamar,
and he was asked this question on Mark and Kelly
last week.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Do you think he'll bring out Drake Wow?

Speaker 10 (18:46):
Man?

Speaker 3 (18:50):
You shows you shows violence this morning? Huh? Is that
what we're doing here? Nice? Get together?

Speaker 8 (18:59):
Yeah, you should broke it like you should be there.

Speaker 6 (19:02):
Because I want no part of that, all right.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
His one piece of advice though, for Kendrick Lamar play
the hits and I agree.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
All right.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
So finally, rather than three things you need so this morning.
John Oliver was on stage at the Emmy's last night
and had this He was like, they tried to play
the music to get him off here he is it is.

Speaker 11 (19:25):
I feel I feel like Sarah mccachlan right now.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
Uh this she.

Speaker 11 (19:31):
Was she was an amazing dog and uh ouch I
would I would guess I want to This isn't just
for her. This for all dogs, all dogs. You're all
very good girls. You're very good boys. You all are treats.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
His dog had passed away, so he was paying tribute
to it. That was probably one of the funnier moments.
Dan and Eugene Levy were the.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
Hosts for the night. Some of the big winners Showgun
walked Away with a Lot. That's the show on.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Hulu for Best for Outstanding Drama Series. Also for Lead
Actor and Lead Actress, Hacks one for Best Comedy Series.
You know what I find odd is that they categorize
The Bear as a comedy and I would have thought
that that fit more into the drama category. But Jeremy
Allen White did pick up Outstanding Lead Actor for that one.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
I highly agree on that one, and.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
Jeane Smart picked up Lead Actress for hacks show I
have never watched Baby Reindeer. That Weird one on Netflix
also picked up a few as well. All Right, that
is three things you need to know for the sixteenth
of September. Best way to keep listening to TIF in
the morning is by searching kiss one O seven one
on iHeartRadio. Good Morning and Happy Monday.
