Well, every weekend this happens, where it goes so quick,
and we arrived back here early on a Monday morning.
This one hurts just a little bit. Though, this one
hurts a little bit. I'm such a boomer when it
comes to cable and streaming. I don't know how it

is I make it through the life that I do.
But I did not watch yesterday's game, or at least
the second half of it, because I just don't know
what channel to watch football on anymore. It feels like
it changes weekly, so I don't know which service to
even free trial to watch the game. And let me
tell you, yesterday was a game well spent at home.

If you know, you know, we're waking up losers two
weeks in a row.

Monday's hurt a little differently because of that.

But I had to check the score on Google like
to lose her because I didn't. I didn't know how
to watch it, and I came home at the second half.
I had listened to the first half of it while
driving home on WEBN because you can, you know, obviously
hear the game there. And then I got home, went

to go put it on. I was like, I'm not
doing this, I'm not paying for this.

me yesterday, Ryan Wesley Ralph from North Carolina who currently
lived in Hawaii, waking up in custy this morning after
an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at his
West Palm Beach golf course, reportedly convicted in two of

possession of a weapon of mass destruction after a three
hour standoff with police. The part that confused me is well, one,
how does one get that close? But again, we'll have
more on that a second two. The ceramic tile and
the GoPro. What I'm confused about the ceramic tile. I

don't understand that part, but the GoPro leads me to
believe that there was some sort of like content opportunity there,
which is just bizarre.

The Secret Service agent that was on the course did
a fantastic job. What they do is they have an
agent that jumps one hole ahead of time toward a
president was out and he was able to spot this
rifle barrel sticking out of the fence and immediately engage
that individual, at which time the individual took off.

So the suspect took off and it was like a
pedestrian that caught him. There's some fire over the Secret
Service right now for not being able to catch this sooner.
And I guess just secret Service is limited for the
running mate, or not the running mate, but the.

So you would think that there'd be around the clock
protection of them, but there is, but there isn't is
the vibe that I'm getting this morning from.

We are waking up a loser to the Kansas City
Chiefs yesterday. You guys have to give me your full
input on it. I didn't watch the game. That's a

this weekend, the Reds ended up taking v L against

have a few home games less left this weekend, and

that's about it. And then I guess a congratulations to
FC Cincy for clinching a spot in the playoffs after
tying those zero to zero against Columbus on Saturday night,
the Energy n TQL Stadium was electric.

Finally, in three things you need to know this morning,
let's talk about the Emmys. A good chance you didn't
get to catch any of it on TV last night,
No surprise at the Morning Show picked up some awards.

The Bear picked up quite a bit.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Showgun, which is a Hulu show, picked up quite a bit.
In fact, picked up the best like the Lead Actor
in the in the Drama Series. The Outstanding Drama Series
Overall Outstanding Comedy Series went to Hacks Jeremy Alan White
won Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, and The Baby

Reindeer Netflix movie also picked up.

You can always listen to the game on the radio.
But as soon as I got home, in the second half.
I went to go try to find it on whatever
channel I could and put it on. Now I don't
have cable, so I feel like such a boomer when
it comes to cable and streaming. There are certain ones
I buy into, certain ones I don't. I'm sorry, I
just don't want to buy. I think CBS is Paramount Plus.

I don't want to buy a Paramount Plus just to
watch the Bengals Chiefs game for the second half of it,
or even start a free trial, cause I don't necessarily
think I'm going to spend a lot of time on
Paramount and it felt like it would have been a
waste and we ended up taking the loss. So a
little bit of remorse from man.

I find that realtors are one of the hardest working
professions in Cincinnati, and I'm just curious how far is
too far to push your real litter or what you
put them through. Because I'm feeling a little bit guilty
this morning.

I'm in the house hunting process, first time for me,
and I've been in this for several months now, but
on a very slow, relaxed is the best way I

can put it search. It took me a while to
figure out what my budget was and then you know,
what does really owning a home mean? And once I
kind of got a grasp of that, I started exploring
a different neighborhood and it took me a little while
to kind of get acclimated with what are some of
the areas that I want to live in?

We've talked about this before, but I felt really bad
at the end of last week because my real ator,
her name is Michelle. Michelle Sloane Sloan sells homes with Remax.
She has been so kind and helpful in answering my questions,
and in the first part of our journey together, we
would ride to the different homes together and then talk

through a lot of things, and I found that helpful.
There was this one property that had been in my
saved list on something that's called the MLS.

Maybe you've already bought a home, and you know what
I'm talking about.

Maybe your ears are perking up because you're like, ooh,
I'm thinking about buying a home.

I'm thirty four. For reference.

This time around, we've started driving ourselves separately, and there
is this one house that I just could not get
out of my brain. But I knew in the back
of my mind that it was too far from what
my daily life is that I most likely wasn't gonna
want to live there, but I really really wanted to

see the house. And so, of course Michelle is the
kindest hardworking realtor.

On the planet.

She's like, yeah, no problem, I'll set it up, let's
go see it, let's go do it. And I was like, Okay,
this is in Green Township, which I didn't know where
that was really Hello to the West Side. Thank you
for welcoming me, thank you for opening up your arms
to me, because it was new. You know, I had
to go down seventy five, which is a nightmare. Oh
my god, if you get stuck in seventy five every day.

I I'm sending good vibes now that I know what
the actual experience is like, because I did that in
the afternoon, so.

I had the actary rushower. So it's this beautiful home, all.

Brick, It's got everything that I feel like I want
in it, and I.

Just really really wanted to go see it.

And we as I'm driving out there, I knew, I
knew I'm not gonna go I'm not I'm not gonna
buy this house. There's no way, but I just kept
us going there anyways. So I wish the stories have
come and gone, but you know, maybe I'll repost them
for you in a reel or something so you can
get it like this house was just perfect you if
you've ever house hunted, cause there's times where you wish

that you could just pick the house up and put
it in the neighborhood that you want. I know, I
have a lot to learn in this process. But is
that my like one big hey, we can do this,
but you know you're not going to buy the house.
We can't do this anymore? Like how far is too
far to push your realtor? Because I felt bad and

I'm like new to this, so I don't know if it.
Can you go see whatever you want whenever you want
or is that rude? Like what is house buying etiquette?
Realtors hit me up? Five one three, seven, four nine,
one oh seven one. Because of course she was super nice.
She's like, no, you had to go, you had to
see it, you had to get it out of your brain.
But meanwhile, I'm like, well, like I you're you know,
you're working really hard, and I feel bad for pushing you.

Luckily it wasn't on a weekend, so it was like
in the middle of the afternoon on like a Thursday

the night before I had gone out for my best
friend's birthday and obviously drank quite a bit. So I
still went in on Sunday, but I was throwing up
like every five minutes. I was throwing up in the
bathroom in a trash can, so to the point where
the supervisor who was there with me was just like, honestly,

just go home.

Being that violently hungover and having to function, even if
it's it has nothing to do with work, and you
just have to live a life.

Maybe it's a parent ooh, it's brutal. I feel for you.

Nelly tickets are are a few minutes away, and you

I was in high school my best friend called her
boss and told her that she had explosive diarrhea and

start off with yesterday's loss, a real tough win against
the Chiefs. Here's Joe Burrow on some of the criticisms
that he's been getting.

Yeah, of course you missed that. I just missed playing
football and miss being out there with the guys. So
it's a luxury right now to be criticized by all
you guys about how we played on Sunday because I was,
you know, sending the wings for seven weeks last year.

So I'm just excited to be out there.

And then coach zt on Burrow's performance.

So a chance to get a rhythm. We've got a
lot more points, you know, and so just again the
first drive getting points on the board just changes everything

able to score until the second half last game, we
don't get a chance to get into a rhythm. So
this is back to the team that we know we're
gonna have.

Yeah, I was the one that I wish we came
out the game with last week. Right, we can't go backwards,

was there, she brought home. It kind of just seems

between Jamar and Joe. From what I'm hearing, I had
to do with the refs. But you see Joe Burrow
just like shove Jamar Chase back. We're gonna play Monday
night football against the Commander's next. Congratulations to FC Cincy
for clinching the playoffs. Unfortuate didn't beat Columbus crew for

in hell Is Reel on Saturday night. They tied nothing,
but at least they clinched a spot. We love that
for them. And then unfortunately the Reds took the l yesterday.
They'll play again tonight at six forty. As we get
ready to wind down baseball for the year. Crazy how
quickly time passes. Nellie will be at Great American Ballpark
this Friday night, and I have tickets for you every
day at eight thirty on my show.

The Bear as a comedy and I would have thought

have never watched Baby Reindeer. That Weird one on Netflix
