Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning. H kiss one.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Mother Nature and her best friend Miss Universe are Carull.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
Cruel.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
First of all, I feel like such a boomer saying
this because we really did need the rain, like need
it so bad. I don't own a lawn in which
I'm trying to water. I don't live Do we have
well water here in Ohio? Is well water a thing here?
My life is not dependent on the rain, is what
(00:36):
I'm getting at. But we really needed it, and I
knew that I could tell that we really really needed
the rain. But waking up on a rainy Tuesday, after
going to bed well beyond midnight watching whatever happened on
television last night is cruel and unusual. Oh my god,
it's so surprising to me that the Bengals last night
(00:57):
last night.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
And I don't know why I'm surprised.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Maybe it's just like this is a good This is
a good explanation on why expectations are so bad. And
that's like across the board with everything, having expectations of
your partner, of your friends, of your life, of your
(01:23):
favorite sports teams. Maybe I'll talk to Lorie Sharpage about
expectations because she's coming on the show later on today
from Make a Date or Break it's our relationship segment
and she's our show's licensed clinical counselor maybe we'll just
ask her about her thoughts on expectations. Sabrina Carpenter opened
up her tour. Let's talk about some good news. Rina
Carpenter opened up her tour last night in Columbus, and
(01:45):
I took the trip up there, so I didn't watch
a shred of the Bengals game, and boy am I
glad I didn't, But that tour was so good.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
I'm gonna break it down for you in.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Three things you need to know later on in the
hour around six point fifty if you happen to be
traveling for the tour and you get a chance. I know,
she didn't come here. She she didn't come to she's
not coming here. And it sold out like crazy crazy,
But I'll have some of the visuals, some of the insight.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
Oh yeah, we're gonna do a whole thing on it
in six fifty. Okay. The best way to keep listening.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
To Tip in the morning's on I hear radio when
you search kiss one oh seven one, Nothing but joy
and good news Today we have your chance to win
Ohio Renfest tickets at eight thirty.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
If you want to set a reminder.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
When you need to know She's got you, it's three
things with tip on kiss.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
All right. Sorry, by that good morning, Good morning, I
was organizing my thoughts on one final thing. It is
just before seven o'clock on this rainy Tuesday, and mother
Nature and whoever controls the good juju for the Bengals,
decided to sit down, have a glass of wine, smoke
a cig.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
And torture us this morning.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
It is dumping rain, which is I feel like such
a boomer, but it's definitely something that we needed. And
we're waking up losers zero to three on the season.
You know, throughout the show we'll hear from a coach,
Zach Taylor.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
And Joe Burrow.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
I don't want to add any negativity to the show today.
It's not like we still can't come back and win games.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
I just think that expectations.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Were so high that I realize coming down from an
expectation highs as a challenge. So taking the l against
the Commanders in Monday Night Football.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
The good news is.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
That Joe Burrow did get his one hundredth touchdown, Burrow under.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Center, play action faith five step drop Chase.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
About it at the firm touchdown, Bugles show, floating up
beautifultball downfield, Tamar Chase doing the gritty have a Bengals
Store touchdown.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
It looked like it was back and forth and t
Higgins back on the field from the injury. Just couldn't
pull it off. Taking to L thirty eight to thirty three.
We'll play the Panthers on Sunday away at one o'clock.
The thing that I did I did not know about
this is that both quarterbacks, Joe Burrow and the Commander's
quarterback are Heisman Trophy winners out of LSU. All right,
(04:32):
second and three things you need to know this morning.
The reason why I sound a little awful stumbling about
the Bengals game last night is because I didn't watch
a single second of it, because I was at the
debut show for the Short and Sweet Tour of Sabrina Carpenter.
She opened up this US leg of her tour in
Columbus last night, and dare I say, one of the
(04:54):
best I've ever seen. And I go to a good
amount of shows to cover for the station and the show,
et cetera. Here and I everyone's got their own style
and everything's everyone's got their own uniqueness. There was something
so special about Sabrina Carpenter show Last Name. It was theatrical.
It was like beauty school dropout from Greece. It was
(05:16):
everything that she's kind of been putting out. All the energy,
all the like the style of the video from Please
Please Please and Espresso, all of that was brought to
life and what felt like musical theater on this stage
last night. And she stuck mostly to the short and
Sweet album. She did sing of Course, Nonsense and Feather
some of her bigger hits, but it was interactive with
(05:39):
the fans mostly at the end of the show.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
Up front, it was just it was like I was
watching Broadway can see I love you, thank you for
being here.
Speaker 6 (05:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (05:51):
I grew up lower here and Colomus has been such
a weirdly special place to me.
Speaker 8 (05:56):
And I remember that last night when I loved the
arena for rehearse. So I passed the first venue I
ever played here because it's the music carts a screen. Yeah,
I was about eight years ago and when I was sixteen,
and it just made.
Speaker 7 (06:13):
Me realize how special life is and howprful I am
to be here to have sold out Rob was.
Speaker 9 (06:22):
Now.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Sabrina Carpenter was an artist that we brought here. Our
former program director in Afternoon Guy, Josh Martinez, brought Sabrina
Carpenter to like a mall. She did mall tours and
small small venue tours.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
I've seen Sabrina a million times.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
It is just so cool to see an artist get
to this point where they're selling out arena tours on
their own, not supporting anyone else, and it looks like
she just kind of came into her own. I feel
like Sabrina is also this girl right now where she
has this sexy sense of humor mixed with you know, talent.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
It was feminine.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
It was so good and I hope you have a
chance to experience it. If you're like, oh my god,
I'm obsessed. I want to know more about these visuals,
tap through either my stories or Kiss one oh seven.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Okay, we got to move on.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Lastly, in Three Things, it's the Forbes thirty under thirty
in Sinci right now. I mean, as if this weekend
couldn't have gotten any busier. Forbes kicked off at Brady
on Thursday afternoon. Joe Buck actually spoke yesterday morning and
he called the game.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Last night against the Commanders.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Talked a little bit about, you know, storytelling and how
he came into his career. Metro Boomin also performed and
talked to the crowd and said, you know twenty his
twenties were the most pivotal part of his life. Don't
waste too much time parting and instead investing in themselves.
Stay down, stay patient. Look at it like you're a
(07:44):
piggy bank. If you keep depositing in it, you'll be
able to see something. And I thought that might have
been inspiring this morning. Metro Booman is credited with tons
of hits. All right, that is three things you need
to know for the twenty fourth of September, coming up
at seven twenty. What's going on in Columbus? Why did
it smell so bad? We're gonna talk.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
About that next morning.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
You're waking up with TIF in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one, a commercial free and I'm sure
we could use a little pick me up, A pick
me up in the sense that we need some joy
in our lives, but also a relaxer because you're at
this point running on five hours of sleep with downpouring
rain on the highway, so we'll do a little mix
of both. Come on in, hang out, sit down, relax,
(08:26):
get a cup of coffee, dry off, chill out, search
kiss one oh seven one on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Like I had mentioned earlier, we're commercial free for the
rest of the hour.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
So I didn't watch a shred of last night's game
because I had the privilege to go watch Sabrina Carpenter.
She opened up her Short and Sweet tour in Columbus
last night. I'm gonna save some of the juicier details
until three Things at seven p fifty because we just
went over a bunch, So lock in if that's the
case for you and you're interested in on it. But
on my way home from Columbus, I experienced something I
(09:03):
I don't think I could stomach again.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
It was so bad.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
If you've driven there at night, you might have experienced this.
Maybe you already know what I'm talking about. We're gonna
table this and talk about it in two songs because
there's a chance, no matter, it could be. It could
be Taylor Swift inviting me for an intimate dinner in
Columbus and I might say, no, that's how bad this was.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
We'll talk about it after this.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time kiss one.
I was seven one.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
Hell is most certainly real and I drove right through
it last night coming.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
Home from Columbus. Oh my god, it was so bad.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
You guys know my thoughts on Columbus in general. I'm like,
sincey Ryder die, I think since he, if we were
to rank the top three c's in Ohio, it would
go since y. I've only gone to Cleveland one time,
and that was to I threw it to move here,
and I might even rank that higher than Columbus. So
(10:05):
Sabena Carpenter performed her her Short and Sweet Tour at Nationwide,
and it was the first stop on the tour.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
Guys, you have to check out some of these visuals.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
There's a reason why this is being called the best
tour of the fall. I'll have more. We'll table it
for three things coming up at seven to fifty. Because
it's not the point of the story. But who if
you're not driving in the rain, check it out. Show ended.
I left a little earlier so I didn't hit traffic.
I'm driving through seventy one at probably ten something last night,
(10:38):
and I'm with my best friend Ali Martin. You might
even remember her voice because she used to be on WEBN,
so you might have heard her on my show in
the past.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
And we nearly passed out.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
It smelled so bad on seventy one South, and you
might be saying to yourself, oh my god, TIF, how
did you not know about this? If you frequent Columbus
or maybe you're from there, it's what's going on. And
it wasn't like, oh, you know, you drive through it
and the passenger and driver don't really talk about it.
Because there's something about when something smells bad that makes
(11:12):
me so lethally uncomfortable that I get secondhand embarrassment and I.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
Just don't bring it up. I just don't say it.
I won't say anything. I won't say anything.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Is something smells bad, I I will just suffer and
I will just keep it to myself.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
I can't do it. I can't.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
But the smell lasted for so long that my Alley
and I looked at each other.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
And we died. We were like, what is this?
Speaker 2 (11:36):
And it wasn't for like a small stretch of time.
It was for a solid ten minutes, and then it
was one of those smells that stuck in my nose
until we got to like Mason, we were passing King's Island,
being like fresh air, Please, what is this? I don't
know what's going on in Columbus. But when they say
hell is real, I don't think they mean the Columbus
(11:57):
crew in FC Sincy. I think whatever's happening at night
on the side of that highway you're waking up.
Speaker 7 (12:05):
Here we go. It's a hard, it's a hard.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
We have Annie updates.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
It's funny that coming out of Sabrina Carpenter. I got
the text message for Annie on my way home from
the show last night. And we're going to table the
Sabrina breakdown for three things you need to know. We'll
do that at seven fifty because right now we get
to chitchat about our girl Annie. If you've been following along,
then you know where we stand with the scenario. If not,
(12:37):
come over to fantasy Land for a little while.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
Come hang out on this side of.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
The tracks, because regular life is a little hellish right
now with the rain and the Bengals loss and such.
Let me catch you up to speed for the last
couple of months, I've been getting a text message. Now,
who knows I could be getting scammed at this point,
I don't know for a girl named Annie. We have
come to the conclusion as a show oh, that it's
(13:01):
her mother that's texting her, because it's an eight six
to Oho number. So we googled what that was. We
put that together. That's a Connecticut number. Every text message
says love mom at the end. So the last that
we left it, if you remember, Annie was supposed to
meet the family for brunch Thursday at eleven fifteen. Annie
obviously doesn't have a grueling job, or maybe she took
(13:24):
the day off, because who can do brunch at eleven fifteen.
I love a good midday mimosa during a weekday. So
the Monday message I read you guys last week said Annie,
I just got a message, and they say to be
down in the dining room by eleven fifteen on Thursday
for the brunch. Hope Paul is well with everyone, Love Mom.
We've been in the midst of figuring out whether or
not Annie's made it to its brunch.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
I've been concerned.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Text message I got on the way home last night
from Columbus says Annie, I was calling you and for
some reason I thought you were talking to Gail. I
was calling to see how you weren't helping you feel
better than what you sounded the other day at the brunch.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
I'll try again to tomorrow. Love you, Mom.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
We have a new character in this scenario, and that
is Gail.
Speaker 3 (14:08):
It's a hard no.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
I'm curious on whether or not Gail sounds like an aunt.
Gail is giving cool aunt vibes, and I'm wondering if
Gail is maybe her ex husband's sister.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
And Gail is.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
Still cool with everyone, like the divorce is settled by now,
but not. Gail is pretty chill. She hangs out with
Annie every once in a while. Mom was just genuinely
concerned about, you know, how Gail is doing. And Annie
was on the phone with Gail, so Mom couldn't get in.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
Touch with her.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
We're all still a little confused as to why Annie
has Annie's mom is not concerned for her daughter's welfare
since her daughter has never once returned to text message.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
Since the text are coming from me, so you know
what to do? Five one three.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Seven, four nine one oh seven one should I respond
to these? So far the answer has been no, who
do you think Gail is? Let's continue our detective work.
Speaker 10 (14:58):
It's a hard.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
When you need to know she's got you.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
It's three things with tit on man.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
We were just talking about Annie. I feel like Annie
way can. I'm a loser this morning.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
It's the hard, all right.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
So we took the l against the commanders were owned three.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
They said in the press.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Conference last night, Dude, what are the vibes in the
locker room?
Speaker 3 (15:25):
What are we going to do here?
Speaker 9 (15:26):
We just come back to work on Wednesday. Come in
tomorrow and watch the tape, improve the things that we
can improve. Come back on Wednesday and have a great practice,
bring great energy, and try to get better. That's all
you can do. On three obviously not very good, not
where we want to be. So we just got to
come back on Wednesday, try to get better.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
I do commend him for coming in positive, being like guys,
no big deal. Really, it's no big deal because this
is how I feel this morning.
Speaker 7 (15:52):
It's a hard.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
Alrighty.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
I wasn't watching a single second of that game last
night because I was at the Sabrina Carr show. Guy
Short and Sweet kicked off in Columbus, where the debut
tour or debut stopped for her. The Door the Door
started and we were there, And there's a reason why
this is being dubbed the best tour of the Fall.
The theatrics of it were just beautiful. The production was great.
(16:16):
If you're a visuals person at the TIF two f's
Potter like the Wizard. You can tap through my stories
right now. It's very old Hollywood glam. It's on theme
of what she's been kind of promoting in the last
couple of months, and here she is.
Speaker 7 (16:31):
Columbus has been such a weirdly special place to me
and I I remember that last time when I left
the arena for a rehearsal, I passed the first.
Speaker 8 (16:39):
Venue I ever played here and there it's a music
bar passa.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
The crowd was so loud that she popped her ear
pieces out and just took it in.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
I mean, I think that that.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Was the first time that she's ever experienced a show
sold out like that that was specifically there for her.
I mean it was, it's her first sold out arena tour.
The visuals are very cool. Highly recommend checking out the
social on it all right, and then lastly, in three things,
the divorce between Jen and Ben I'm trying to come
(17:14):
up with.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
Oh, they call her the diso Queen.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
Laura Wasser is their mediator, okay, and she was actually
the mediator for Ben and Jen Gardner's divorce back in
twenty eighteen. They're looking to be as amical about this
as possible, That's what sorcers are saying. But the one problem,
the one hang up here is Artist Equity, which is
the production company that Ben and Matt Damon started after
(17:37):
j Loo and Ben got married, and there was no
prenup on it. So in the midst of working that
one out, that's the rumor this morning. All right, that's
three things. So the twenty fourth of September coming up next,
your chance to win Ohio Renaissance Festival tickets. Good morning,
good morning. Although I know it doesn't necessarily feel like that.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
You know, we'll get through it.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Although waking up a bengalspan this morning definitely feels like this.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
It's a hard not, it's a hard not.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
You know, I was just providing Annie updates, if you know,
you know, we just talked about that in our seven
o'clock hour, Our girl Annie. The story continues, you know what,
I think we're gonna go with Annie as the keyword.
Actually coming up at eight thirty, I've got Ohio Renfest passes.
And I originally thought this has become such a thing
(18:33):
on my show. I originally thought that when I was
going to give these away, not one person would call,
not one person would call.
Speaker 3 (18:41):
Not only did they call, they you guys have.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
Been calling like crazy for these Ohio Renfest passes. I
got to get myself out there and experience what the
magic is about the Rennie about the ren Fest. So
I've got a four pack of tickets for you at
eight thirty ish this morning, and you'll need that keyword.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
You already know. It's a hard not all right coming
up two songs from now while I have you. We
do this every Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
It's where relationships and therapy bey kind of intersect on
my show. And no question has really been too out
of pocket for Lori sharp Page. She's our licensed clinical counselor.
She gets it, she sees it all. I'm asking her
today about expectations on so many levels. You know, if
you thought the Bengals were gonna win, that's an expectation.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
Right, It's a hard.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Not if you have expectations of your partner in the
dating world, What does expectation?
Speaker 3 (19:34):
What do they mean?
Speaker 2 (19:36):
Are they good? Are they bad? How do you navigate that?
We'll get to that two songs from now. You're waking
up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss and we're
commercial free.
Speaker 7 (19:44):
It's a hard.
Speaker 6 (19:47):
It's a hard.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
It's time to make a date or break on Tiff
in the morning. Yeah, we do it on Tuesdays. It's
where relationships and therapy right down at our studio table
together with microphones and all. And no question has ever
been too out of pocket for Lori sharp Page, except
I don't know how you're gonna get us through this
one this morning, because we're waking up losers as Bengals fans.
(20:22):
First of all, well, miss update on you you gout.
Speaker 10 (20:25):
Yeah, I'm hanging in there, but I'm definitely feeling my
feelings this morning.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
Okay, let's talk about expectations. First of all, I'm let's
just lead off with the Bengals, because I think the
majority of us thought that not only were we gonna
win last night's game, but we were gonna win at
least the first game. And now we're zero and three,
And I feel like expectations actually come up a lot
in life outside of the Bengals, relationships, friendships, all of
(20:50):
that thoughts on it.
Speaker 10 (20:52):
Absolutely they do. And the thing about expectations is it's
our way, our brain's weigh of preparing for uncertainty, right,
And so there was a sense of like, wow, it's
a Monday, but like we're going to have a great
game today, and unfortunately it didn't play out like that,
and it's hard to reconcile our expectations with the reality
(21:14):
and this.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
Okay, So I mean, is the advice that you would
give for someone feeling the loss today for Bangles with
the expectations the same advice that you would give someone
who has expectations in a relationship.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
Are they different?
Speaker 10 (21:32):
Yeah, Actually it is the same. Because the thing about
expectations is our brain trying to craft what will happen,
and we never really know what's going to happen, and
so when something that is unexpected or disappointing happens, it's
really important to work to accept it and then feel
whatever the feeling is. And this does play out a
(21:53):
lot in our relationships, particularly in long term committed relationships.
I see this a lot where people almost think that
their significant other is in their mind and thinks and
acts exactly how they're going to so they don't think
to run the expectation by them until the expectation has
been broken. And so it's really really important when an
expectation has been broken to recognize that an expectation is
(22:15):
just an imagination that we have. There's nothing guaranteed about
an expectation. But the more that we check those expectations
before we head into a situation, the better we can
take care of ourselves, because it's tough when you're doing
the whole expectation versus reality thing that I think we're
all doing across Cincinnati this morning.
Speaker 6 (22:34):
Yeah, So is it okay to have expectations of your
partner or is it best to just never have any
expectations of them?
Speaker 10 (22:47):
I think that we can't ever not have expectations. Expectations
are part of the normal human experience. I think we
do have to keep those expectations in check. If you
are always being someone or across a lot of your
relationships for not meeting your expectations, then it is time
for you to check your expectations. But the thing about
(23:07):
expectations is we just need to be reasonable about them,
and we need to be flexible and understanding the fact
that oftentimes our reality asked us to flex what that
expectation was.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
Okay, So you're also saying, too, before you arrive at
the expectation, you have to communicate that with someone.
Speaker 10 (23:24):
Absolutely. Absolutely, expectations that just live in our head tend
to the ones that really can break us down.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
Okay, So let me just send this text message to
Joe Burrow really quick. Hey, Joe, my expectations were that
we were going to win.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
That didn't happen. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Are you available to go out sometimes?
Speaker 3 (23:50):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (23:51):
Man?
Speaker 7 (23:51):
No.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
One more thing I want to add, though, is that
you had said that you have to arrive at acceptance.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
How does one do that?
Speaker 10 (24:00):
Yes, So arriving and acceptance happens when we stop wishing
things for different which I know is a hard thing
to hear on Tuesday morning. But they did lose. It's
been as upstart this season and we have to learn
how to accept what is and support our team moving forward.
And it's the same nots in our relationships. Things happen.
(24:20):
We have to learn to accept what is and decide
whether or not we're going to continue to invest in
this relationship and move forward, or if we're gonna, you know,

Speaker 7 (26:09):
I think.
Speaker 10 (26:11):
All the way up.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
Yeah, this is us. Hey, don't say that, but this
is us.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
It's hard.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
Well, thank you so much for listening to TIF in
the morning every day.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
I appreciate you.
Speaker 9 (26:24):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
You're welcome the Ohio Renaissance Festival. I didn't realize it
was like such an exciting big deal.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
So have you ever gone? Nope, this might be my
first time.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
Okay, you're gonna have to report back then because I
haven't gone either.
Speaker 3 (26:38):
I'm gonna put you on hold.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
If you took a loss on these tickets, Listen, we're
not stacking up losses on this show.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
Just sat a reminder. I've got you tomorrow morning at
eight thirty.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Okay, in the meantime, we're still commercial free, and we're
two songs out from the three Things you need to
Know to get your day started in.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
Cincy, Lynn, you need to know She's got you.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
It's three Things with tip.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
We've led off with the Bengals, and every one of
our three things reports this morning. We're gonna let off
the Bengals, all right, take a little break, pump the
brakes on them, and start off with Sabrina Carpenter. I
am so excited for her. It was the first stop
on her Short and Sweet tour. And the production, the visuals,
(27:26):
her voice, the band.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
It was ten out of ten.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
It was more of a theatrical Broadway experience than it
was a concert. And there's a little I've got some clips,
of course, here's one of a video that plays when
everyone's leaving the stadium.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
I'll be great, should I say thanks for coming to
my tour.
Speaker 7 (27:49):
I love singing.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
I hope we liked hearing you say for that long?
Speaker 7 (27:55):
Thanke you to have the merch take them.
Speaker 8 (27:56):
On your way out.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
There's a lot of merch, or maybe there is it
sold out, I don't.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
Know, but the months ago, I just think that the
Sabrina Carpenter's sense of humor right now just embodies.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Like the girly spirit and the girly mentality.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
It was also the first time that she performed in
front enough a sold out arena crowd that was solely
there for her. So Sabrina's done different. I don't know,
VMAs and things of that nature, She's done different. iHeart
shows where there are a bunch of other artists on
the bill. Everyone in that building, that sold out crowd
was there for Sabrina, and it pretty much like hit
(28:34):
her in the face with the screams.
Speaker 7 (28:36):
Columbus has been such a weirdly special place to me,
and I remember last time when I left the arena
for rehearsal, I passed the first venue I ever played here.
Speaker 8 (28:45):
I think it's a music farm and pass the screen.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
So cool, such an experience. You know, she was in
Cincinnati like a mall parking lot right before I moved here,
So what a cool growth experience, Very old Hollywood glam.
If you're a visual person, you have to check these out.
On my story at the TIF two f's Potter.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
Like the Wizard. They're also on our station pages.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
Well, all right, second, and three things you need to
Know this morning. Unfortunately the Bengals took an l.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
And we're owing three.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
You know, Joe Burrow was asked about vibes in the
locker room and just what's going on?
Speaker 3 (29:25):
What do we do?
Speaker 9 (29:26):
We just come back to work on Wednesday, come in
tomorrow and watch the tape, improve the things that we
can improve. Come back on Wednesday and have a great practice,
curing great energy.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
And I commend him for being so positive in that
really challenging moment. I bet that was a challenge for
him as well.
Speaker 3 (29:43):
It was a very positive conversation.
Speaker 9 (29:46):
We're not happy with where we're at, but by no
means is the season over or zero three.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
It's fourteen left.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
To play now, so we have to go with there's
fourteen left to play. Talked about expectations on the show
earlier today and boy that was a reality check.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
All right.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
Lastly, and three things you need to know this morning,
Let's do a drive by Diddy update. You know, now
that the indictment's been unsealed for what a week, at
this point, everything is surfacing and it feels like the
internet is trying to make something out of everything. Everything
that Diddy has done will be under a microscope, and
there is years worth of video footage and interviews and such.
Speaker 3 (30:26):
This is actually about his white parties.
Speaker 11 (30:28):
They won't even give me a permit for the parties. Man,
they don't want me to throw the parties no more.
But we ain't gonna stop. We gonna keep on having fun,
bringing people together from all walks of life. You're gonna
hear about my party. They're gonna be shutting them down.
They're gonna probably be arrested me.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
Well, that ended up being the case.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
I do think that Diddy's parties were larger than life
in the sense that anyone and everyone could come to them.
So you could be like just starting out in the
industry like Justin Bieber was, you know, and come to
a party where you would meet Jay Z and other
major producers.
Speaker 3 (30:59):
Diddy was always really known for that. You know.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
It was the behind the scenes stuff at the freak
offs that we had no idea about, or we had
some inkling, but never to the point of a three
count indictment. There's been a lot of trending information about
Justin Bieber and you know, there's been you just we
don't know. There's an I meant to pull this song,
there's an a there's a song that someone put together
using AI and Justin Bieber's voice. Damn, I forgot to
(31:24):
pull it and it sounded like Justin talking about Titty.
Speaker 3 (31:28):
It was fake. But there's something going on there too.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
He stayed silent obviously with the new baby and Hayley Bieber.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
But everyone is worried.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
I think everyone that's gone to a ditty party is
all is thinking at this point, will I be caught
up in this legal mess.
Speaker 3 (31:44):
At one point or another.
Speaker 2 (31:45):
I think people like Jennifer Lopez are luring up, lawyering
up talking to you know, just making sure they have representation.
I don't know if we've ever or will ever experience
a lawsuit and just a fall like this. Well, we
won't know until we get to the you know, the
bottom of it. All right, that's three things you need
to know for the twenty fourth of September coming up Tuesday.
(32:06):
Tips So that be from everything since at nine twenty
