Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning. Hi, kiss Hi,
good morning.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
I won't even joke and add in happy and Monday
in the same sentence, although I do try to usually
inject the first break of the show with some positive energy.
This morning, however, yesterday's loss was a little bummer.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
It does the Bengals.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Whatever happens to the Bengals definitely tends to sway the
mood of a Monday morning.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
Are we gonna rest our entire show on it? No
or not? So don't worry about it. Don't worry about that.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
How was your weekend last I left you on Friday?
I had said, I am dead set on doing a
fall activity this weekend. Whatever the most fall thing I
can do in Ohio, I want.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
To do it.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
It was not the Ohio Renaissance Festival, if that's what
you're thinking. Did not get there, but I did get
to a place called Hidden Valley Orchard. Now, if you're
a visual person at the tif t f's potter like
the Wizard, there's already a video up there. I'll post
the weekend recap at some point during the show today Vibe.
I highly recommend it is in Lebanon, so solid fortyish
(01:06):
minutes from downtown. It was a nice little break to
get out of the city. We found parking fairly easy.
I don't know if that's just because the universe was
on our side. But they had a barbecue, foods, they
had ice cream. We waited in line and got apples.
I had an apple side or donut that was so frush.
I'm thinking about it this morning. Whatever donut you're gonna
(01:26):
pop into and get and bring it to your office,
it's not going to do this apple side or donut.
I had Justice, and they had asked, you only want one,
and I said, yeah, like, I'm just gonna have it
here and enjoy it.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Do I regret that? Probably? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:40):
If I had gotten a dozen, would I have eaten
all of them yesterday on the couch?
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Most likely?
Speaker 2 (01:44):
So probably was a smart I did only get one,
but I had this like glaze on top of it,
and that it was the standard like cake donut dipped
in sugar.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
So good, so good, so good.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
They had all sorts of loafs and fritters, and then
the outside you could bring your own chairs and blankets
because they had acoustic music. And then there were something
I love about a facility that understands there needs to
be several bars, so everywhere, like there were more bars
at this Hidden Valley or So there had to have
(02:16):
been at least two or three bars. Then there was
anything else that I had noticed. But I love that
they had frozen slushies like apple cider. Obviously you could
have made them alcoholic or non, but they had bourbon slushies.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
I had a pumpkin beer.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
I mean, we were really just seeping in fall this weekend,
so Hidden Valley, Orchard.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
And then outside of that.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
On Sunday, I watched TV from nine am to when
the Bengals started. At one o'clock in the afternoon, my
friend said, hey, you need to leave your house. You
always had to have that one friend that's like, hey,
it's time for you to get out.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Of your house. All right, it's six fifty. We'll dive
into the three things you need to know to get
your day started. In Sincy. Good morning,
