Jobs with Highest Relationship Red Flags

On seven one, Hi, good morning. Has your job ever
gotten you in trouble in your relationship? There's a list
of jobs that came out that are actually red flags
in relationships. And I'm curious if you have ever dated
somebody in this industry or in these industries rather or
if you're in it, cause some of them I would

(00:27):
have looked at as oh, wow, that's a good career.
That's a great career, turns out their red flags. I
don't think we're all going to agree on this list.
I most certainly don't, as I mean, my job does
my job doesn't come up on this list, but it's
most certainly a problem in it can.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Be in relationships.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
You know, I went on a first date with a
guy a year ago, or it feels like a year
ago at this point.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
It was probably six seven months ago.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
And the first thing that he said to me when
we sat down for drinks and such was, oh, I
just don't want any of this to end up on
the radio.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
And I'm like, well, don't know what to tell you there.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
It's what I do for a living, right, And I
don't always believe that our life needs to be our job,
and our job needs to be our life, but they
definitely intertwine. So coming in at number one, real estate agents.
Real estate agents are constantly on your phone, so when
you go out to lunch and such with them, even
in the middle of the day, they're constantly on their phone,

and they always have random people calling and texting them
at random times of the day too, like even into
the night. I'm in the house hunting process myself, and
I try to be really respectful of reaching out to
my real li or via text, but I know that
people who are like, like, hey, I need to buy
a house now now, Now you have to be on
it like that.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Coming in at.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Number two as the career path that causes the most
red flags and relationships if you're just walking into this conversation, chefs.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Chefs have the worst hours and work.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
So many of them sixty five you have eighty hours
a week, You never see them, and plus you never
get to reap the benefits of their career because.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
When they come home, they don't want to cook for you.
I get it.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Coming in at number three, anyone that pedals an MLM,
it totally not only does it get in the way
of your social presence.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
But you know that your friends and.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Now it's got to be your husband or your significant
others friends, they're like, Oh, God, here comes so and so,
I'm gonna sell us whatever product surgeons. Surgeons fall within
the same category as chefs as far.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
As timing goes. You know, you're constantly on the clock.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
You're constantly working late hours, constantly working weekends, et cetera.
But you'll have to confirm or deny this if you
work in a hospital. I hear the rumor is sure
surgeons talk a lot of ish while they're doing surgery.
You get a lot of behind the scenes of what's
going on in your family as you're like locked into
the six hour surgery.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
You'd have to tell me if that's true or not.
We've got one more than I might add in a
bonus one. Entrepreneurs with eight different side hustles tend to
be red flags and relationships. One commitment. Why again, this
is just off a list. I'm reading commitment. I'm assuming
it's just like kind of you always got one thing,
you always got so many irons in the fire, it's
hard to keep up, there's never any relaxing. And then lastly,

I'm gonna adding this bonus one anything that has to
do with the word influencer, And I can see, depending
on which generation you're in, how it could be tough
to date an influencer because they are also constantly on
their phone everything. It's not necessarily an act, but there's
definitely a magic to entertainment. I get that those are
the top career choices that tend to be red flags

and relationships agree, no, yes, are you in any one
of these? Has your job ever gotten you in trouble?
