Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning. Hi, kiss.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Hi, good morning. I won't even joke and add in
happy and Monday in the same sentence, although I do
try to usually inject the first break of the show
with some positive energy. This morning, however, yesterday's loss was
a little bummer. It does the Bengals. Whatever happens to
the Bengals definitely tends to sway the mood of a

(00:28):
Monday morning. Are we gonna rest our entire show on it?

Speaker 3 (00:31):
No or not?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
So don't worry about it. Don't worry about that. How
was your weekend last I left you on Friday? I
had said, I am dead set on doing a fall
activity this weekend. Whatever the most fall thing I can
do in Ohio, I want to do it. It was
not the Ohio Renaissance Festival, if that's what you're thinking.
Did not get there, but I did get to a
place called Hidden Valley Orchard. Now, if you're a visual

(00:53):
person at the tif t f's potter like the Wizard,
there's already a video up there. I'll post the weekend
recap at some point during the show today Vibe. I
highly recommend it is in Lebanon, so solid fortyish minutes
from downtown. It was a nice little break to get
out of the city. We found parking fairly easy. I
don't know if that's just because the universe was on
our side. But they had a barbecue, foods, they had

(01:15):
ice cream. We waited in line and got apples. I
had an apple side or donut that was so frush.
I'm thinking about it this morning. Whatever donut you're gonna
pop into and get and bring it to your office,
it's not going to do this apple side or donut.
I had Justice, and they had asked, you only want one,
and I said, yeah, like, I'm just gonna have it

(01:36):
here and enjoy it. Do I regret that? Probably? Yeah?
If I had gotten a dozen, would I have eaten
all of them yesterday on the couch? Most likely? So
probably was a smart I did only get one, but
I had this like glaze on top of it, and
that it was the standard like cake donut dipped in sugar.
So good, so good, so good. They had all sorts

(01:57):
of loafs and fritters, and then the outside you could
bring your own chairs and blankets because they had acoustic music.
And then there were something I love about a facility
that understands there needs to be several bars, so everywhere,
like there were more bars at this Hidden Valley or
so there had to have been at least two or

(02:17):
three bars. Then there was anything else that I had noticed.
But I love that they had frozen slushies like apple cider.
Obviously you could have made them alcoholic or non, but
they had bourbon slushies. I had a pumpkin beer. I mean,
we were really just seeping in fall this weekend, so
Hidden Valley, Orchard, and then outside of that. On Sunday,

(02:38):
I watched TV from nine am to when the Bengals started.
At one o'clock in the afternoon, my friend said, hey,
you need to leave your house. You always had to
have that one friend that's like, hey, it's time for
you to get out of your house. All right, it's
six fifty. We'll dive into the three things you need
to know to get your day started in Sincy.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Good morning, when you need to know she's got you, it's.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Three things with tip on Well, good.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Morning, good morning. We're just before seven o'clock on this Monday.
It's gonna be gorgeous yet again, Temperatures are in the
low seventies with bright blue skies and sunshine. I love it.
We're obviously coming off a really sad, tough loss yesterday
against the Baltimore Ravens. The Bengals now sit one in
four and by the way, the other team that's one

(03:28):
in four is the New England Patriots. You know where
they got there, one from us. Here's Joe Burrow on
some tough conversations that are going to be had. There's
been tough conversations had, you know.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
I think our coaches are handling it the right way.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
And you know, whenever you're one in four and whenever
you're in this situation, there's gonna be tough conversations to
be had. The guys aren't gonna like and those conversations
have been had. So I'm happy with how we're going
about it. We obviously have to win more, that's no secret,
but I think people we're handling it rightway. I don't
want to say.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Here's Ted Carris as well. I love this.

Speaker 6 (04:07):
We're sitting at one and four having to dig our
way out of football hell.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
That's what it does feel like. It feels like we're
in football hell. The teams did well. It was a
very high scoring game, and Joe Burrow, you know, had
a bunch of stats and I'm not going to ramble
off for you, but it wasn't like that we couldn't
win the game. We just didn't win it. Final score
forty one to thirty eight. We play in the Sunday
night game against the Giants at eight twenty in New York.

(04:36):
So we're sending good luck to the Bengals. All right, Second,
and three things you need to know this morning. This
kind of came out of nowhere. Alex Cooper posted a
clip on her Color Daddy podcast yesterday saying that she
was going to be interviewing Vice President Kamala Harris. Now,
of course the comments are ripping her to shreds. I
haven't had a chance to watch the full podcast in full.

(04:59):
It's only forty five minutes long, which I'm assuming you
know she was highly vetted. The questions were vetted, and
she said in her own video leading into the podcast,
like listen, I speak about women's issues, and I speak
to the call her Daddy audience, which is primarily gen
Z and millennials. And so here's a clip of a
question that.

Speaker 7 (05:19):
Was asked for gen Z and millennials say they don't
want to have kids because it's too damn expensive. How
are you going to help young people not feel left behind?

Speaker 8 (05:32):
First of all, it's a very real issue and we
need to take it seriously. And I do take it
very seriously. So there are a number of issues that
contribute to that feeling. One is housing is too expensive,
and we need to increase the housing supply. So part
of my plan is to work with home builders in
the private sector.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
You can go ahead and watch the full interview if
you want. At one point today but that kind of
came out of nowhere. She did ask for President former
President Donald Trump to interview as well, and he hasn't responded.
Kamala will also be on the Howard Stern Show, all right,
and then lastly, in three Things You Need to Know
This Morning, We love Sabrina Carpenter. She hit back at
some rumors that she doesn't write her own music.

Speaker 9 (06:14):
I think a misperception is that I don't write my music.
I think a lot of people think, because I have,
you know, a producer and co writers that I love,
that I'm sitting in the room on my phone not
writing songs.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
She was on CBS Sunday morning. Okay, coming up at
seven twenty. We do it every Monday, Chit Chat Roulette.
We will break down our official reviews on The Joker.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
You're Wicked, Chis let us up and one.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
You know, I actually don't mind Mondays because Sarah and
I Good morning, Sarah, thank you, good morning. We break
down the biggest things that happened, let's say, in the
last seventy two hours across your phone in Cincinnati. Maybe
things that happens that you didn't get a chance to
see because you were wrapped up in whatever it is
that was going on in your own social life or
your own family life. I am telling you right now,
the lead story in Chit Chat Roulette will have spoiler alerts.

Speaker 10 (07:03):
Yeah, if you're planning on seeing Joker, maybe two now
for a minute or two, give us.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Like ninety seconds to talk about this movie. Who am
I Kidding's probably gonna take up the next three or
four minutes. But where's our bed for this?

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Here it is. Are you ready? I'm so ready? Five
minutes going on the clock.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Just because I like spinning the wheel, let's just spin it.
I already know what we're leading with Okay, the Joker
was a joke. That movie sucked so bad. I had
a chance to see it over a week ago. So
I've been stewing on this information until you saw it. Okay,

(07:42):
go ahead. The Joker is not a joke. It's a joke.
Here's the thing. It sucks if.

Speaker 10 (07:48):
You've not seen the original because it relates to the
first one so much that if you go just to
see Lady Gaga like that was gonna be my mom,
She's like, I want to go see Gaga, Mom, you
gotta watch the first one before going. Otherwise a lot
of it's not gonna make sense. There are so many
characters from the first one in this one, especially in

(08:10):
the court scene, very heavily on the characters, that nothing
would make sense. You don't even know why the Joker
is called the Joker if he don't see the first one.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Okay.

Speaker 10 (08:20):
So the whole movie is about Arthur who is the Joker,
and he's going back and forth in his own head
about am I the Joker or am I just Arthur?
And then we meet Harley Quinn, which in the movie
her name is Lee played by Lady Gaga, and she's
not who you think she is.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
She's more of a villain.

Speaker 10 (08:42):
She's very manipulative, yes, and she wants Arthur to be
the Joker so bad. So that kind of is the
entire plot and everything leading into what his sentencing is
going to be.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
And it's just completely wild.

Speaker 10 (08:55):
It's Arthur going back and forth in his own head
about what makes more sense for him.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
I like the way that you explained it. Yes, regardless
the first one. Regardless if I've seen the first one
or not, it wasn't about a plot connectivity issue for me.
I understood what the story was trying to go for.
Even if I didn't see Joker one. The plot line sucked.
It was boring. I will tell you this, The two

(09:22):
are not alike at all.

Speaker 10 (09:23):
The first one is so dark and the storyline is
so much heavier and there's so much more to it,
whereas with this one it is a musical.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
It's a little bit slower. I have to tell me.
There was too much music. It's a little too much
towards the end. Did you look at JD and you
were like, another song, here we go.

Speaker 10 (09:42):
We never thought that, but there were a few moments
where it got dark and I kind of wanted it
to stay dark, to be more like the first one,
and then you get back into Arthur's head, and anytime
you get into his head is where they break out
into songs. And I'm like, oh, I kind of wanted
it just to be dark for a little bit longer.
The plot line was boring. It was boring.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
It does not follow any typical like Superhero Villain DCC.
It does not follow down. The climax of the movie
happens within the last maybe fifteen minutes of the movie,
and at that point you're like, this isn't even the
climax I was looking for. I will say the acting
is phenomenal, absolutely, the singing, the acting.

Speaker 10 (10:22):
I mean, Jaquin, Phoenix and Lady Gaga are so brilliant
and they're so smart, and they're so.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Good at what they do. It's good to see it
for that.

Speaker 10 (10:30):
But if you want to fully enjoy this film and understand.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
It, don't got to see the first one first. Don't
even waste your is.

Speaker 10 (10:38):
It is phenomenal. You will love this movie. If you
have seen the first one.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
That doesn't No, it does literally nothing for you. If
you've seen the first one, and I get I haven't
seen the first one, but it wasn't a plot connectivity issue.
The plot sucked. It just was bad. It was a disappointment.
I don't think that it was a disappointment. I think
you can't have you were disappointed by it. I was
not disappointed.

Speaker 10 (11:01):
And the ending is so cool because it leads into
something else.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
It was a snooze fest. No, they spent you know
what was happening at the end. Yes, they must have
spent so much money on Lady Gaga that they didn't
have the rest of the money to know. And the
ending is the entire plot takes place in two places.
The entire movie takes place in one place. And there's
nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 10 (11:26):
That's not even the problem because you're you know, it
starts off with Arthur like being in his cell because
that's where he's been for the past couple of years
after the six murders, and then it's mostly there, and
then you're going into the courtroom and you're kind of
like going back and.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Forth, Sarah, you're trying to get me to like something
that I think sucked.

Speaker 10 (11:44):
So I just believe in this film. I give it
an eight out of ten. It's not nearly as good.
There is a lot of music. Remember as a musical,
don't go sere just because a lady.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
God, kay, you typically tend you tend to find the
positive in any negative situation. I love that about you,
thank you, but you don't need to do that. I
saw it. I don't like it. I'm giving it to
stand on the mountain.

Speaker 10 (12:04):
This is an amazing movie, I promise you.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
But I'm telling how Walking Phoenix's number uses Daddy. Not
in that movie, not in Tooker, okay, but in IRL.
What do you do you want to add anything? I
don't want to talk about the Bangs. Please don't bring
up the Bengals. What I do want to talk about
quickly is Vanderbilt. Can we talk about that, absolutely, because
it was awesome. What I'm confused if you can rip
a goal post down? Oh, and they managed to do

(12:29):
so and carry it into a river. Yes, they carried
it for miles.

Speaker 10 (12:34):
By the way, thousands of people flooding the streets and
carrying this goal post to celebrate the victory over Alabama.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
Because it never happens. I'm confused on why the school
was like, yeah, no big deal, rip the goal post
down and put it into the river.

Speaker 10 (12:49):
Oh, they're not going to stop them. Even the police
officers were taking photos.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
I mean it was great. It's kind of like if
they need to play this weekend or the other games,
can't find another goal post, they'll figure it out.

Speaker 10 (12:59):
Oh, they just have those on They're gonna go on Amazon.
I need this in the next seventy two hours. Police.
This would be equivalent to the UC Bearcats beating the
Ohio State buck Eyes. That's how big of a win
this was for Vanderbilt. It was a very exciting time
for them.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Okay, Hey, coming up in about an hour from now,
we're gonna talk about Ruggate. Have you heard anything about that?
What's going on in Ohio and Columbus? Rather speaking of osure,
what is it called ruggate? They're rug gate now finding
bodies in the rugs in Columbus. And we'll have updates
for you in about an hour. Thank you, Sarah. I'm
all fired enough with Harley Quinn.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time Kiss
one seven one.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
Hi, good morning. Has your job ever gotten you in
trouble in your relationship? There's a list of jobs that
came out that are actually red flags and relationships, and
I'm curious if you have ever dated somebody in this
industry or in these industries rather, or if you're in it,
because some of them I would have looked at as

(14:04):
oh wow, that's a good career, that's a great career,
turns out their red flags. I don't think we're all
going to agree on this list. I most certainly don't,
as I mean, my job does my job doesn't come
up on this list, but it's most certainly a problem,
and it can be in relationships. You know, I went
on a first date with a guy a year ago,

(14:25):
or it feels like a year ago at this point,
it was probably six seven months ago, and the first
thing that he said to me when we sat down
for drinks and such was, oh, I just don't want
any of this to end up on the radio. And
I'm like, well, don't know what to tell you there.
It's what I do for a living, right, And I
don't always believe that our life needs to be our
job and our job needs to be our life, but

(14:46):
they definitely intertwine. So coming in at number one, real
estate agents. Real estate agents are constantly on your phone,
so when you go out to lunch and such with them,
even in the middle of the day. They're constantly on
their phone, and they always have random people calling and
texting them at random times of the day too, even

(15:07):
into the night. I'm in the house hunting process myself,
and I try to be really respectful of reaching out
to my real liter via text. But I know that
people who are like, like, hey, I need to buy
a house now. Now, now you have to be on
it like that. Coming in at number two as the
career path that causes the most red flags and relationships
if you're just walking into this conversation, chefs. Chefs have

(15:30):
the worst hours and work so many of them sixty
five seventy. You have eighty hours a week. You never
see them, and plus you never get to reap the
benefits of their career because when they come home, the
don't want to cook for you. I get it. Coming
in at number three, anyone that pedals an MLM, it

(15:51):
totally not only does it get in the way of
your social presence, but you know that your friends and
now it's got to be your husband or your significant
others friends, they're like, Oh, God, here comes so and
so I'm gonna sell us whatever product. Surgeons. Surgeons fall
within the same category as chefs. As far as timing goes,

(16:14):
you know, you're constantly on the clock, You're constantly working
late hours, constantly working weekends, et cetera. But you'll have
to confirm or deny this if you work in a hospital.
I hear the rumor is sure surgeons talk a lot
of ish while they're doing surgery. You get a lot
of behind the scenes of what's going on in your
family as you're like locked into this six hour surgery.

(16:35):
I don't know. I don't know. You'd have to tell
me if that's true or not. We've got one more
than I might add in a bonus. One entrepreneurs with
eight different side hustles tend to be red flags and relationships.
One commitment. Why again, this is just off a list.
I'm reading commitment. I'm assuming it's just like kind of
you always got one thing, You always got so many
irons in the fire, it's hard to keep up. There's

(16:56):
never any relaxing. And then, lastly, I'm gonna add this
bonus anything that has to do with the word influencer.
And I can see, depending on which generation you're in,
how it could be tough to date an influencer because
they are also constantly on their phone everything. It's not
necessarily an act, but there's definitely a magic to entertainment.
I get that those are the top career choices that

(17:20):
tend to be red flags and relationships agree, no, yes,
are you in any one of these? Has your job
ever gotten you in trouble?

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Five?

Speaker 2 (17:28):
One, three, seven, four nine, one oh seven one, or
if you're like I just can't do it? On this
Monday Talk Back with Tiff, you'll see the microphone right
next to the play about when you search kiss on iHeartRadio.
That just gives you thirty seconds to get on the.

Speaker 4 (17:38):
Radio when you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
It's three Things with Tiff on Kiss.

Speaker 11 (17:48):
So some it's week five of the season. So it's
disappointing that we just lost a great football team in
a big game for us. But you're not going to
see a lot of guys sitting in here just feeling
sorry for ourselves. We still believe in each other and
we have a tremendous opportunity to show what we're about
going forward, and so people can write us off if
they really want to. I'm not dumb enough to do that.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
Well, I like the way that he put that. I
think he addressed our concerns and our emotions this morning,
but also say we got to keep moving. Taking the
elegance the Ravens yesterday. We're on to play the Giants
at eight twenty away in New York this coming Sunday.
It's a night game. A Sunday night game. We'll hear
from Mss Carrie Underwood, I'm sure. Second, and three things
you need to know this morning SNL this weekend with

(18:32):
the guest Hostnaborgatzi, hilarious musical guest Coldplay, and of course
weekend Update addressed Ditty.

Speaker 12 (18:40):
It was reported that Ditty once invited Prince Harry and
Prince William to one of his parties, but they did
not go, although before Ditty could even finish writing the invite,
Prince Andrew was there.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
And then lastly, An Halfaway confirmed on social media that
Prince's Diaries three is in the work. Speaking of Ann Hathaway,
I watched the Devil Wears prad of this weekend when
I was chilling on the couch. All right, that is
three things you need to know for the seventh of October. Hey,

(19:14):
if you have Pete rose merch signed or you just
have it? What is that worth? Is it worth any money?
I have an expert coming on here around eight thirty
this morning, and so if you've got stuff, don't go far.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
You're waking up with tip in the morning.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
Kiss one O seven one.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
My friend Ben brought up rug Gate to me this
weekend and we were both like, what is going on? Hi,
good morning, you're on the air. Sometimes my phone you'll
have to let me know if my phone lines are
working for you or not, because I've gotten mixed reviews
on the show this morning. Hi, you've at least made
it onto the show. Have you been following this?

Speaker 12 (19:49):
Okay?

Speaker 8 (19:50):
Yeah, I have a little bit, but like as far
as I thought, they didn't find anything of what I heard.
But I'm not for certain so I didn't see it
on like any news or anything.

Speaker 12 (19:58):
So I can't say.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Remind me what neighborhood you're in this morning, and what
your name is. My name's Alicia, and I'm calling them wilder. Alicia,
thank you so much for the call. I appreciate you. Okay,
so it's mixed reviews on whether or not you've seen it. Essentially,
we talked about this on Friday where this woman had
gone so viral on TikTok. We're talking nine million views
per video because she found a six foot rug in

(20:22):
her backyard when she was trying to dig holes for
a fence. The police had come, the media of course,
had come, and they brought cadiver dogs or cadaver dogs,
and the cadaver dogs did sit down on the hole,
and everyone on the inner was like.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Like a cadaver dog is someone that can smell a
body and or something that has died inside of something.
There was maybe someone killed on that surface. I guess
that's what their expertises are. I don't do we have
any cadaver dogs here in Cincy. Would love to talk
to them as well or the owners. This is where
we stand this morning, because they were supposed to dig

(21:00):
the rug out of the backyard this weekend and then
get it tested.

Speaker 6 (21:04):
Columbus police tell NBC four officers remained stationed at Santri's
home overnight, but they added there were quote no conclusive findings.
Please tell us. They may have an update today. Santri's
video on the buried rug, have it raked up millions
of views?

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Yeah, she's not lying. Katie Santry I believe is her name.
If you want to look up this whole scenario. It's
kind of giving like Resa Tisa vibes, where you have
to lock into this entire series. But as of this morning,
I don't have any updates for you. If you've been
entrenched in this story throughout the weekend, definitely talk back
with Tiff, because I'd love to get your take on it.

(21:42):
All right, two songs from now. If I'm so excited
for you guys to hear this conversation. If you have
any Pete Rose merch memorabilia, signed or not, baseball cards,
if you find something in your parents' dusty basement, how
much is it worth? We'll get that next.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Week in the morning. Kiss.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
How much is your Pete Rose merch signed or not
trading cards? How much is that stuff worth? If you're
cleaning out your parents' basement and you come across a
Pete Rose card, how much does that worth? Chris Costa
owns and is the co founder of card Vault, which
is primarily based in New England. But I texted him,

(22:26):
I said, oh my god, you have to tell me
what some of the stats are on some of this
Pete Rose stuff. Good morning, Chris.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
He Rose cards are certainly up since his passing. A
couple of examples that I think are important to call
out that there's there's probably four or five what you
would consider he Row's most important cards if we're talking
just specifically baseball cards. Okay, His nineteen sixty four Tops
in a PSA nine, which is a grade condition, right,

(22:53):
it goes from one to ten in a PFA nine.
His nineteen sixty four Tops just sold for sixty thousand dollars.
Who and that is up from twenty two thousand dollars
in April, so almost three x his market.

Speaker 8 (23:09):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
Now his nineteen sixty three Tops, which is widely considered
his true rookie card, in a PSA nine, that just
sold for one hundred thousand dollars, and that is up
from seventy thousand. Now, keep in mind there's only thirty
of a PSA nine in his true rookie card, and

(23:32):
there's only one PSA ten, which is perfect condition. That
PSA ten, if it's surfaced at market, I would suspect
that card would do a million dollars or more.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
That's crazy from a baseball card, Okay, Now does this
mean that he's what if he signed it, does sign
memorabili have is Is there any value to anything it's
signed or would you rather not signed?

Speaker 3 (23:55):
No, there is two different markets, right his license trading
cards from top over his playing career, and his rookie
cards and his second year cards.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Those don't have.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
To be signed, and in his case, none of them
are signed when they come out of the packs back
in the sixties seventies, or if you find a pack
now and open it up, it's not physically signed by Pete. Now,
Pete is notorious for signing a lot of stuff. He's
always at card shows and trade shows and public signings,
so he's always been a big signer and he's always

(24:27):
been out there in the community. However, his stuff's still valuable,
So sign jerseys, signed eight x ten, signed hats, signed
gloves still carry value a couple hundred bucks, a few
thousand bucks, depending on the item. Now, if you had
a game warn Pete Rose uniform, we're talking you know,
six figures, seven figures. So it all depends on what

(24:47):
the item is. But when it comes to sports cards,
there's always an active market, and it's one that you
can really easily tracked, and that's the market that's going
to tell us where Pete Rose values are, and they're
certainly up three x two x in most cases.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
Okay, So you have mentioned mostly just like cards, cards, cards, cards,
but if there was a signed baseball or something, there's
definitely value in it. But the cards are where there's
a lot of value.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
Well, yeah, inherently the cards carry a whole another level
of a nostalgia Americana and rarity, right because the condition
of these cards is so important. You know, most people
that might be listening to this, if they have Pete
Rose cards in their parents' basement, they're probably in a
bin somewhere and they might be dinged up and shoot up.
And that's okay. But the real big numbers that we're

(25:38):
seeing come with, you know, really high grade condition cards
that have been meticulously kept. With that said, you know
a PSA five nineteen sixty three Pete Rose Rookie, which
is probably the condition of a card that might be
sitting in somebody's closet that's still a two thousand dollars card.
So cards, yeah, the values there, but no baseball's are

(26:02):
absolutely value. Signed Pete Rose baseball signed Pete Rose game,
used Baseball's sign jersey, signed eight x ten signed hats.
All that stuff still has value, but the cards are where.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
The big numbers lie.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
Okay, this is super helpful. So if I am cleaning
out my dad's basement and I find a Pete Rose card,
what would be the first step? What would you want
me to do with that thing?

Speaker 1 (26:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (26:24):
Great question. So you can do a couple of different things.
Number One, you can go on PSA's website psacard dot com.
They're one of the major grading and authenticating services, Okay,
and you can look up their dealer directory and you
can look for any dealers in the Ohio area in
the Cincinnati area, and you can decide who you want
to bring your cards to to then send out to

(26:46):
get graded. PSA will look at your card under a microscope,
they will encapsulate it, and they will certify it with
a condition grade, and then they will.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
Send it back to you.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
Once you get it back, then you have a few
different options as far as where you can sell it
if you want to sell it. One is eBay. eBay
has always been and still is the largest marketplace for
trading cards and collectibles. So you can sell it yourself
on eBay, or you can use what they call eBay
auction houses who will take your card for you. They'll

(27:19):
list it for you, they'll take images of it, and
they'll market it for you.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
A great example of one.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Of those is MC sports Cards that the letters MC
Sports Cards. He's a great eBay consigner. Or final option
is you can use a private auction house like a
Golden Auctions, who most people might know from the Netflix
series King of Collectibles, or the private auction house Fanatics
collect So those are really your main options.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
Would you recommend someone selling it like right now or
is this something that you pass on generation and generation
and generation and hang on to it forever.

Speaker 3 (27:56):
Well, that comes down to the human, right, what are
you trying to do with your items and your collectibles?
You know, certainly the Pete Rose market is as hot
as it's ever been. I just mentioned a couple of
his cards just sold for all time highs. Pete Rose
arguably the greatest hitter of all time. His stuff will
always have value, but right now it's certainly hot.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
And it's top of mind.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
So if you're trying to use those collectibles or use
those items that you found or use those items that
you've been holding on to to pay for something in
particular or save some money. There's nothing wrong with selling
those items now. But if you find the nostalgia or
the sentimental value in an item or you want to
pass it down, there's nothing better. And I wouldn't fault

(28:39):
you for choosing a Pete Rose card or collectible to
be that item.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Well, thank you, Chris. That was so helpful. Oh my god.
Card vault card vault on Instagram if you want to
hit them up or if you're if you're curious about cards,
et cetera. I thought. I just was like, this is
like what happens if you're cleaning out your grandfather's basement
and you find a Pete Rose card. You supposed to
do that thing, all right, full conversation because there's more
to it. It's gonna get podcasted. Free to catch up

(29:05):
even if you came in at the end of that,
just search TIF t Iff in the Morning on iHeartRadio.
We got to get to the three things you need
to know. We'll do that next.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
Lynn.

Speaker 4 (29:15):
You need to know She's got you.

Speaker 1 (29:18):
It's three things with Ti.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
Hi, good morning. We're just before nine o'clock and at
nine oh five ish, ivy your chance to pick up
that grand I'm gonna pay your bills on Kiss shortle
come in handy if you spent too much money yesterday.
Plus it also is coupled with a free trip to
our iHeartRadio jingle Ball this December starring Katy Perry, So
don't go far. I've played various cuts from the Bengals

(29:42):
after the Bengals lost yesterday, from various people like Joe
Burrow and Ted Carris, but I think it's this one
from coach ZT that speaks best to directly to fans
on how we're feeling this morning.

Speaker 11 (29:56):
Listen, it's week five the season, so it's disappointing that
we just lost a great football team in a big
game for us. But you're not going to see a
lot of guys sitting in here just feeling sorry for ourselves. Like,
we still believe in each other and we have a
tremendous opportunity to show what we're about going forward, and
so people can write us off if they really want to.

(30:16):
I'm not dumb enough to do that.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
Okay, all right, our fearless leader, I will follow.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
I've just watched them play foot play, foot play. So
many years of disappointment, but they finally stepped up.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
We love to keep from crying. We'll take on the
Giants Sunday night at eight ten away. What was the
story that broke with a different football team. I just
walked away from my TV and started streaming after that,
so I didn't watch. But what was the There was
a team that won in like because of the rain,

(30:55):
the rain, the rain. There was a rain. There was rain,
the Cowboys, That's what it was. The Cowboys ended up
defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers after like a ninety minute thunderstorm delay,
I guess, and the game wrapped up at like two
in the morning. Prescott, Yeah, the Cowboys took a sad

(31:22):
l kind of like we did it or it was
like just a field goal there at twenty to seventeen.
All right, we gotta move on. Do you guys want
to talk about the Menendez brothers because I find this
story really interesting, but not one that I followed very closely.
So the Monsters documentary show is streaming and it's out right.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
Then.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
I had played some audio on Friday of how the
District Attorney of LA was essentially going to decide whether
or not they were gonna hear new evidence on the
Menendez brothers. By the way, the Menendez brothers have been
in prison for decades now for the murder of their parents,
but since they were sexually abused, which is getting a

(32:04):
lot of press at the moment right now because of
the Joker Too movie as well. We'll see if that
ends up happening now. Netflix has released as of today,
a new documentary on the brothers. And here's a quick
clip this emotional letter.

Speaker 13 (32:19):
When I was in the county jail, Lyle couldn't express
what he did in that letter in person. It was
easier for him to put it on paper. He felt
that telling the six secrets of the family would be

(32:42):
like killing my parents.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
Again. Wow, I don't typically do true crime. I have
best friends though that can only fall asleep if they're
listening and watching true crime crime. And I'm like, girl,
you're christy all right. And then lastly, in three things
you need to know this morning, we're not far off. Actually,
about an hour from now, the Reds are gonna introduce
our new manager, Terry Frankcona for the first time here.

(33:06):
That is three things you need to know for the
seventh of October, coming up at nine oh five has
promised your chance at that thousand bucks plus a free
trip to our iHeartRadio jingle Ball starring Katie Perry. Best
way to lock in is on iHeartRadio, So you don't
miss that search Kiss one oh seven to one, and
we will also dive into our movie Sunday review. What

(33:26):
did you watch this weekend? Which should you watch this week?
What was the biggest thing on TV in the theater?
Of course it was Joker. We'll talk about that in more.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
Next you're waking up with fifth in the morning.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
Kiss on Hey, good morning. What did you watch this weekend?
Did you end up making it out to see The Joker?
And what are your opinions on it? You can talk
back with Tiff. I don't like to gate keep stuff
that we're watching because I honestly think that's one of
the biggest things that you can give someone, Give them

(34:03):
the gift of what you're watching so they don't have
to scroll trailers and such, and Plus, when you love something,
it's easy to talk to someone about it too. So
The Joker, you know my reviews on it. If you
hadn't had a chance. I'm not gonna drawna I didn't
like it. I did not like the second one. Have
I seen the first?

Speaker 3 (34:18):
No?

Speaker 2 (34:18):
Did I not like it because of the plot connectivity? No,
it was boring to me. However, if you go back
and listen to Chit Chat Roulette from earlier this morning,
once it gets podcasted, Sarah from WEBN came in and
we were going at it because she loved it. She
thought it was great. So as of Friday, the Rotten

(34:40):
Tomatoes review on it was not good either. I think
that people got caught up in the idea that it
was a musical and they didn't know that because they
didn't really market it as a musical. But the acting
was phenomenal, and Sarah says, if you didn't watch the
second the first one, then don't go see the second one.
I broke her rules and I saw it and I

(35:01):
just didn't love it. Some other stuff that I got
caught up on TV. I love Apple TV. I started
or it was cruising through a show called Bad Monkey,
which is starring Vince Vaughn, one of my favorite comedic
actors of all time. That's a like a funny comedy
drama crime series. So I highly recommend that one and

(35:22):
an older movie that I watched, The Devil Wears Prada,
as I was falling asleep on Saturday night. And I
think the reason why Hulu recommended that one to me
is because Anne Hathaway announced on her social that The
Princess Diaries three is in the works. What an iconic
movie series from growing up. What she wore as the
Princess of Genovia is what I wanted to look like

(35:45):
during prom. I really really wanted to be I wanted
to be that. I wanted to be her during prom.
You know, miracles happen every once in a while. What else?
What else did you get into television wise? Outside of

(36:07):
the Bangles the Menendez Brothers. I just covered that in
Three Things. There's a new documentary on Netflix that came
out as of today. We're entering Fall TV season where
lots of things get released. So don't gate keep talkback
with Tiff on iHeartRadio. Once you search kiss, you'll see
the microphone right next to the play button, So let
me know what it is that you're into. If you

(36:28):
can hang out at nine point forty, we'll do the
daily debrief. I choose one big thing that we had
to talk about on my show every day, and we
run it back into some of the talkbacksit we didn't
have a chance to play in the moment. In this
time around, we're gonna revisit Ruggate, that viral TikTok story
out of Columbus,
