Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
It's three things with tip on kiss. When I was
seven one, Hi, good.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Morning, Good morning, Sorry about that. We're just before seven o'clock.
Temperatures are going to be in the sixties yet again
today coming off such a beautiful Sunday. Oh my god,
I was not expecting that. It was so nice. And
then we'll hang out in this department for the next
couple of days until cooler temperatures in rain moves in
on midway.
Speaker 4 (00:41):
Through the week and we drop into the forties.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Welcome to the land of nightmares, the land of nightmares
and Cincinnati, where things just keep getting worse for us.
We'll get to the Bengals here in a hot second.
But I guess this is good news. Let's start off
with the bridge. Although I don't have a timeline update
for you. Riverside Drive is a fish which will hopefully
alleviate some of the draft.
Speaker 5 (01:03):
Big news coming Saturday afternoon regarding the Big Mac Bridge repairs.
The inspections of the bridge approach have been completed. O
DOT team is now reviewing those findings to determine how
much of the damage to area needs to be removed
and replaced. Crews were able to remove the damage sign
Trusts on Saturday, and in addition, Pete Rose Way and
Riverside Drive, as well as the sidewalk on each side
of the street, has been reopened.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Unfortunately, the parking lot will still remain closed, but maybe.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
That'll alleviate stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
Speaking of traffic nightmares, you heard about the via doct
the Sixth Street Viaduct over this weekend. That was avoided.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
Thank god.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
We can't handle much more here. I don't have a
timeline update for you, but you know when I do,
you will be the first to know. All right, second
and three things you need to know this morning. As
we continue through our lend of nightmares of Cincinnati Bengals,
unfortunately taking yet again another l last night, we are
four and seven. Joe Burrow was asked, is this pretty
(01:57):
much your living nightmare?
Speaker 6 (01:59):
Yeah? What pretty self explanatory.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
I'm not a stats person. You know, You're not gonna
come here and get the stats, etc. You're gonna get
the vibes. And overall it looks and I'm hearing like
Joe Burrow is absolutely killing it, and the rest of
the team we're just kind of not like gelling and
getting our act together. I do feel like from observation,
locker room, or morale might have been a little bit
jumbled from the Jamar Chase thing earlier this season. We
(02:26):
almost have the same record as the Patriots, and the
Patriots we gave them one of their only wins earlier
this season. There's an online sports betting platform that says
the Bengals have pretty much a ninety five percent chance
of not making the playoffs, but vibes are still high
in the city.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
We're gonna give them the best.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
We're gonna give them the benefit of the doubt always,
always all right. And then lastly, and three things you
need to know this morning. Possibly the coolest thing that
I'll talk about on the show this morning is that
Beyonce was just announced to do the Christmas Day halftime
show in Houston. Now here's the thing that I just
learned about this myself. The NFL Netflix is the global
(03:08):
home of the NFL's two Christmas Day games against Kansas
City and the Baltimore Sorry, am I okay, I'm a
little neurodivergent, so things are just getting jumbled in my brain.
This morning, Kansas City will take on the Steelers at
one o'clock. By the way, Chiefs took their first l
of the season and everyone is just rejoicing about it.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
I mean, I love Josh Allen, so I'm glad that
they took the win.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
Then at four thirty, the Ravens will take on the Texans.
Here's how this is gonna work, and keeping with the
NFL's long standing holiday tradition, the Netflix Christmas Day games
will be on air broadcast TV in the competing team
cities and then be available on US mobile devices with
the NFL Plus. So unless you live in Baltimore, we're
(03:54):
pretty much going to be watching it on Netflix. And
I know what you're thinking, We're going to table the
Tyson Jake Paul conversation with Netflix and the buffering until
later on in the show. But I'm with you on
that they're gonna have to get their act together with it.
Absolutely Beyonce up for several Grammys. I'm wondering how much
time do you think they're gonna give her, you know,
(04:19):
it's so good. I don't I don't think that they'll
give her Super Bowl halftime time, but I think they'll
give her something. By the way, speaking of what her
history with the NFL IS. She was in her own
Super Bowl halftime show in twenty thirteen in New Orleans.
That's when she brought up Destiny's Child, and then she
joined Coldplay and Bruno Mars in twenty sixteen and had
(04:41):
one of the most watched Super Bowl halftime shows of
all time, with one hundred and fifteen point five million
households tuning in. Who All right, that is three things
you need to know for the eighteenth of November.
Speaker 6 (04:51):
Good morning, you're waking up in the morning, by.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
Good morning, good morning. We'll take the biggest topics. We
do it every Monday at this I'm with Sarah Lee's
good morning.
Speaker 7 (05:02):
Are you good morning? You know I still love my Bengals.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
But we'll get there. Would take the biggest things that
you're probably gonna either see or talk about in your
office or school settings or with your group dms, and
we'll put them into five minutes. So we have this
wheel to keep us on track because.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
We tend to chat. Okay, you ready, here we go.
You're gonna lead us off per usual.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
D O, m im go.
Speaker 8 (05:35):
You can take it.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
Take if you go ahead, you leave it.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
It's yours.
Speaker 9 (05:41):
Yeah, Charlie XCX on Saturday Night Live and four weeks
later after Domingo was introduced with Arianna Grande, Well he's back.
We're a little sequel with the parody Hot to Go
it is.
Speaker 8 (06:01):
You kn't, oh.
Speaker 7 (06:12):
My god, the pregnant nude.
Speaker 9 (06:15):
So now she's not sure if it's her hubbies baby
or Domingos.
Speaker 8 (06:20):
You know what.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
She's out here living her truth though.
Speaker 7 (06:24):
Yeah, it's amazing it. Definitely check it out. It's already
gone viral.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Did you see I opened my eyes this morning and
checked Twitter that Domingo was that Sabrina Carpenter show.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
No, yeah, I don't have the audio.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Damn. I should have pulled it and see it.
Speaker 8 (06:37):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
Do you know how Sabrina calls out different people at
the show every time that she does it. I'm sure
you've seen that on social Domingo was one of the people.
He was there, The guy from SNL was there.
Speaker 7 (06:47):
Like, what's his real name? Nobody even knows.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
No, it's well, it's Domingo for life. But it's like
it's like Marcus or something like that. And just because
I know you've come to expect it from me, and
I know you're waiting for it. Here here's the og.
Speaker 8 (06:58):
Okaye god something secular location.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Maybe he's fine still dancing.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
With to Mingo. Hear location, bully straight, bully touching him, Mingo.
Speaker 6 (07:13):
I can't wait to be his life.
Speaker 7 (07:15):
She's binding the town Mingo.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
I just can't.
Speaker 7 (07:18):
It doesn't get any better than that.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
All right, let's talk about Wicked minute. It's Wicked.
Speaker 7 (07:25):
We finally here.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
For those that don't know, and you haven't scrolled Instagram yet,
at Kiss one o seven, wep sir at Kiss one
o seven and at my page, you can come see
the sneak peek advanced screening with Sarah and I on
Wednesday at showcased in Springdale, which I'm that's my second home.
I love going there.
Speaker 7 (07:45):
And a reminder that this movie is part one.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
Oh it is?
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Yes, Why didn't I know that?
Speaker 7 (07:52):
I feel like a lot.
Speaker 9 (07:53):
Of people don't know that, and we all know that
in the Broadway musical they end at Define Gravity. Do
we think that that's where it ends in the movie?
Speaker 10 (08:03):
I do.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
How do you feel about the press, because it is
there's so much press, so much Are you over it?
Are you still engaged in it?
Speaker 9 (08:10):
I was really excited a couple of weeks ago and
now I feel like my whole for you page on
Twitter X and TikTok. That's all it is, and it's
like oversaturated.
Speaker 7 (08:21):
By the way, Sarah.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
Bought green bottoms, I did from Forever twenty one. Yeah,
that's Alpha BA costume. On Wednesday, I'm gonna.
Speaker 9 (08:28):
Be fully sad because I can't walk in these siletos.
They're definitely sitting tooo but super cute. Okay, okay, real quick,
because I know that we're all aware by now. The
Bengals did lose last night to the LA Chargers. They
had a nice little comeback in the second half, but
couldn't get it done.
Speaker 7 (08:45):
They're now four and seven. The Steelers are in first.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Sorry, let's talk about Beyonce with the Netflix halftime show.
Speaker 7 (08:53):
Oh my gosh, I'm so excited.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Deep do you think that they're gonna give her a
lot of time?
Speaker 7 (09:00):
Absolutely?
Speaker 3 (09:01):
The same screen be Yeah, but it's the Christmas Day
halftime show. They can't give her the Super Bowl amount,
all right, I would assume.
Speaker 9 (09:08):
I guess she'll get what ten fifteen minutes, whatever it is,
you'll feels like a lot.
Speaker 7 (09:12):
I feel like she can cram in a lot in
that time.
Speaker 9 (09:15):
But yeah, We saw her post on social media looking
absolutely fabulous wearing all red, white and blue. This will
be the Ravens Texans game four point thirty kickoff. Hopefully
Netflix can work out all the key. Dude, I better
not see it still on my girl, Beyonce.
Speaker 11 (09:31):
I will lose.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
It in the same vein as Netflix. Can you tell
me how many times you saw Mike Tyson's ass?
Speaker 7 (09:41):
You know what?
Speaker 9 (09:42):
My TV on Friday night paused on his little sheet? Yeah,
there was like a ninety five percent loading And I'm like,
you know what, God works in the serious ways?
Speaker 3 (09:53):
That was the most unhinged thing on the Internet this weekend.
Is Mike Tyson totally normal? Waste up kissing his son?
Thanks for the interview, pans Away. Whoever was in the
editing booth knew absolutely new.
Speaker 7 (10:09):
It was definitely a record breaking night or Netflix.
Speaker 9 (10:12):
On Friday, sixty five million households tuned into the fight
between Jake Paul and Mike so quickly.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
Who did you have on it?
Speaker 9 (10:20):
Jake Paul and he could have totally killed Mike Tyson.
Mike is almost sixty years old. I think he took
it easy on him.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
Are you one of those girlies that saw the tiktoks
and you were like, sad that Mike Mike Tyson was
your grandfather, Like they felt bad for him.
Speaker 9 (10:33):
I don't feel bad for him, but I think that
that's the last fight, that's the last time he'll be
getting in the ring.
Speaker 7 (10:38):
He looked pretty beat up at the end of it.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
I know I'm probably your most naive friend on the planet,
but I thought Tyson was going to take the win.
I was like, there's no way he doesn't take the win.
Speaker 9 (10:51):
Dude, Jake Paul is half his age and he's so
much tougher. Jake definitely went easy on Grandpa Grandpa Booty.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Do you think next person we see in the ring is.
Speaker 6 (11:05):
Something you're waking up in the morning?
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Ki, Hi, good morning, Good morning. Have you ever gotten
text messages from a random number? I'm sure you have, right,
something that you don't have saved in your phone.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
How does this even happen?
Speaker 3 (11:23):
Maybe you picked up someone else's old number if you
changed yours. But for those that are like me, I
haven't changed my phone number since my Nokia flip phone,
so I don't know how this keeps happening. But it
is time for what I call Annie updates.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
It's a hard cop. It's a hard not.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
I never know when we're gonna get the Annie updates,
and they just come in hot and fast and random,
that's for sure. If you have no idea what I'm
talking about, come on in and hang out. There's still
plenty of time to catch up. We've started this thing
on my show because months ago I started getting text
messages for a girl named Annie from this one number.
I haven't responded to a single one, but I keep
(12:13):
getting the text messages, and I'm with you. For a while,
I thought maybe this was a scam, so I did
not respond to the scalm text messages. But then the
more I got, the more I'm like, wait a minute,
this is legit. So because I like to take a
break from the regular reality that we live in CINCYA
every morning, come on over to this Annie relationship that
(12:36):
we are fully invested in. We've come up with so
many timelines and storylines for this. Just to give you
some back history, this text message chain comes from what
I believe is Annie's mom. Annie is always trying to
get Annie's mom is always trying to get in touch
with her. Okay, it's an eight six Zhero area code.
(12:58):
At one point, don't you remember this? They were supposed
to meet for brunch in the dining room. I mean,
she was asking me all these things. Here's an example
from September sixteen. Annie, I just got a message that
they say to be down in the dining room by
eleven fifteen on Thursday for the brunch.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
Hope all is hope, all is well?
Speaker 3 (13:17):
Love Mom? Okay, Annie, I was calling you for some reason.
I thought you were talking to Gail. I was calling
to see how you are and hope you're feeling better
than you sounded the other day.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
I'll try again tomorrow. I love you, Mom.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
In the meantime, I'm sitting here wondering what's the strained
relationship with Annie and her mom from Connecticut. Clearly she's
not concerned because Annie hasn't responded to a single one
of her text messages, and in this case, I'm Annie, so.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
The latest one that I got for you.
Speaker 3 (13:47):
Because we could go on and on about this reality,
but so far we've created that Annie's mom lives in
Connecticut because that's where I searched the area code from.
She's got somewhat of a strained relationship with her daughter,
but she's really.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
Trying to make contain something right.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
Gail must be like the crazy aunt from somewhere, and
they have these designated brunches from time to time to
catch up. Trying to be very cordial, but there's a
broken relationship there that needs to be repaired. Here we go,
we're getting ready for Christmas. Annie, this is the one
I got on Saturday at ten forty seven, Am, Annie,
I would like to get Jacqueline a message for Christmas
(14:23):
because she can use Oh no, I'm sorry, we start over. Annie.
I would like to get Jacqueline a massage for Christmas
because she can use it after the baby, and maybe
Matt can babysit. Okay, let me know where I can
get one near Jacqueline. Guys, guys, who is Jacqueline? And
(14:45):
who is Matt? Is he gonna babysit? She texted me
again yesterday at four forty seven, Annie, did you get
my message?
Speaker 12 (14:54):
No?
Speaker 3 (14:54):
Annie, didn't get your message because you're texting the wrong number,
not your daughter.
Speaker 7 (14:58):
He's Oh my god, it's a hard.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
What is going on with this family? Now we've got
another character entering the chat. I'm curious to know who
Jacqueline is maybe Jacqueline's a cousin and Matt is her
like deadbeat husband that never co parents, just kind of
like trickles in from time to time. Meanwhile, Jacqueline's struggling
with her first baby, looking to get a massage. Meanwhile,
(15:26):
Matt's out on the golf course on his sixty fifth
beer of the Day's hard. Oh, take a break from reality.
It's tip in the morning. Feel free to come and
I'd love to hear your voice five when three seven
nine one o seven to one. Hi, Good morning, Beyonce.
It made a major announcement with Netflix. You've probably seen it,
(15:49):
but if not, I'll have that for you in three
things you need to know coming up in a song
or so from now. We're in the midst of talking
about the any updates. I don't have time to fill
you in completely. You can get caught up on the podcast,
but I got more text messages from Annie as we
continue to develop this fake relationship on my show. Hi,
you're on the air.
Speaker 11 (16:08):
Hi, good morning, how are you.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
I'm well, Thanks for joining my silly little conversation this morning.
You have any ideas for me?
Speaker 11 (16:14):
Yeah, so I didn't really have any ideas, but I
had a possible second thought. Okay, maybe Annie and her
mom doesn't have a great relationship right, and Annie decided
to cut her mom off. So that's why she and
her mom doesn't speak very much.
Speaker 3 (16:32):
That's what I was thinking too. Thank you very much
for the call. All I know right now is not
only is it a hard knock life for Annie, it's
a hard knock life for Bengals fans as well.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
When you need to know she's got you.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
It's three on this update on Bengals fans this morning.
Maybe not well the land of nightmares, the land of nightmares,
and Cincinnati with the traffic and the loss. I'm glad
you chose me to give you a little break and
reprieve this morning. I do three things every day at
this time. First of all, temperature is gonna be in
the sixties again today, so I'm going to look forward
to Yesterday was stunning, and then we'll hit the forties
(17:20):
with some rain midway through the week and towards the
back half.
Speaker 4 (17:23):
Let's start off with the loss. Let's just get it
out the way.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
Here's Jamar Chase in the locker room.
Speaker 4 (17:29):
I'll play football in phil I don't call it play four.
Speaker 3 (17:32):
You know, so I can't really do nothing.
Speaker 6 (17:34):
You think that's part of the finishing factory's place.
Speaker 12 (17:37):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
I just don't know if they know what to say.
It's like the Spider Man meme, Like you just pointed me.
I'm like, what do we say? What should I say?
What do you want to say? I don't want to
be coach Zach Taylor this morning. I'll tell you that.
I mean a lot of people to answer to. You know,
you're not gonna get stats from me. You're gonna get
the vibes, though, and I felt like the vibes for
the Bengals have been off ever since, speaking of Jamar Chase,
(18:00):
the whole contract negotiation, etc. I don't know, that's just
optics for me. Joe Burrow was asked, is this your
living nightmare?
Speaker 6 (18:10):
Yeah? What pretty self explanatory.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
Rough football wise, though, Josh Allen to take home the
win with the Buffalo Bills against the Chiefs, and I
think the internet's excited about that. I also feel like
people are excited about the Detroit Lions. I wish we
were in that conversation this year.
Speaker 4 (18:28):
I really do.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
We'll go into this bye week four and seven and
then we come back on December one against the Steelers
at home at one o'clock. I'm ready for them to
be home. I want to go down to the banks
and have myself adra cup and celebrate, hopefully our next win.
Speaker 7 (18:46):
I got all right.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
Speaking of the Bengals. In line with the same theme here,
former Bengal pac Man Jones was arrested after the Jake
paul In Mike Tyson fight. Authority are saying that pac
Man was arrested and booked for alleged public intoxication, resisting arrest,
evading arrest, an assault on a police officer. This is
(19:10):
not his first time and with the run in with
the law, we know him very well from this incident.
Speaker 4 (19:17):
So people just wake up and be drunk and going
to the airport.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
You remember that with the whole plug, the whole like
outlet situation on the airplane like.
Speaker 7 (19:27):
This is embarrassing, first of all. Second of all, how
about two seats.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
On the plane?
Speaker 7 (19:33):
Hey, look, the plug is not working for.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
I'm gonna leave that one there for now. I think
we're at second, maybe third similar vein. I already chatted
about it in our six o'clock hour, but I will
just remind you that Beyonce was just announced to be
the Christmas Day halftime performer against who is it the
Ravens versus the Texans.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
Of course, this will take place in Texas.
Speaker 3 (19:57):
This is not Beyonce's first time with the NFL, although
jay Z is not producing this one. If you were
wondering that jay Z and Apple Music produced the halftime
show for the Super Bowl, this is produced by someone else.
But she has made her appearances with the halftime show
as well, if we're going through her stats. Twenty thirteen,
she did her own show with Destiny's Child, appearing right
in the Louisiana and then on top of that, she
(20:20):
jumped in on Coldplay and Bruto Mars's halftime show, which
had millions one of the most viewed halftime shows of
all time. But Netflix has got to get their act together, right.
I think everyone's thinking the same thing. If you are
a part of the Jake Paul Mike Tyson fight, you
might be failing. Similar that will happen at four point thirty.
The game will air on Netflix. However, in competing team
(20:41):
cities you'll be able to watch it on broadcast television.
For us, we'll have to watch it on Netflix, so
just count on me coming to your house on Christmas Day. Lastly,
let's touch base on the Mike Tyson Jake Paul fight.
If you're interested in some audio this morning. Here's a
quick clip of the defeat.
Speaker 12 (20:58):
Just David yaf tests eighty to seventy two, while Justice
Lawrence Pole and Chessa Ray I see seventy.
Speaker 6 (21:05):
Nine to seventy three. Declare your winner by your DNA.
This decision.
Speaker 8 (21:14):
Good pool.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
I think that Netflix has to just do a little
bit better if they're gonna have Beyonce. Like I had mentioned,
it reached sixty five million stream making it a major
achievement achievement for the platform. In addition to that fight,
which I think is very important to note, fifty million
households watched the Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, making it
(21:40):
the most watched professional women's sporting event in US history.
All Right, that is three things you need to know
for the eighteenth of November. Your chance to win Wicked
Advanced Screening passes with me for Wednesday, coming up at
eight thirty. Good morning.
Speaker 6 (21:54):
You're waking up in the morning. Kiss what Hi?
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Good morning?
Speaker 4 (21:58):
Good morning?
Speaker 3 (22:00):
Do you charge your adult children rent to live at
your house if they're still.
Speaker 4 (22:04):
Living at home. That's what we're getting into right now.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
You will need the keyword rents to win the Ariana
Grande and Cynthia Arrivo Wicked advanced screening passes to come
see the movie with me early at Showcase Cinema and
Springdale Wednesday night at seven o'clock. If you didn't hear
me mention it, the keyword was rent. So I got
this talk back with Tiff. I'll play it and then
we'll get into it.
Speaker 12 (22:26):
And he lives here.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
Oops, that was the middle of it. Here's the beginning
of it.
Speaker 12 (22:30):
So I have an adult child twenty four who just
started kind of a real job, and the big question
is do I charge him rent? He and he lives here.
I charge him a small amount of rent. But what's
the right thing to do. Some people say charge him
rent and then give it back to him when he
(22:50):
buys his house, but.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
Unpopular opinion, charge job, charge it.
Speaker 12 (22:57):
No.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
I could just be kind of reflecting on my own
early twenties journey. I paid for everything. In fact, I
haven't asked my dad for or my mother. No, my god, never,
I haven't asked my parents for money in a nah,
maybe right in the beginning of high school. Maybe as
soon as I was able to afford having car insurance,
(23:21):
a cell phone, et cetera.
Speaker 4 (23:23):
I was on my own as far as finances go.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
So you're not going to get much sympathy from me
if you're looking for that on this show with that
department there. I still have friends that are in their
thirties that are on their parents' family plan for their phone.
Speaker 4 (23:42):
And I know you're screaming at me right now saying.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
Tiff, we were grandfathered in to whatever like unlimited plan
that existed twenty years ago, So it's like forty dollars
for me to have unlimited talk, text and data. I
get that sometimes you're going to run into experiences like that,
But everything else car insurance, rent bills, etc. I feel
(24:06):
like you should be paying for that on your own
because if you're not, you're not building.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
You're not building for yourself.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
But I know I have friends right now that are
living at home and live in large baby, live in
large laundry, food, Netflix, and listen. This is coming from
the girl that password shares with any person on the
planet that will if I don't know you, and you'll
give me your Netflix password so I can watch the
(24:33):
Beyonce halftime show on Christmas Day.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
Let's do it.
Speaker 10 (24:38):
Well.
Speaker 4 (24:38):
What are your thoughts?
Speaker 6 (24:39):
Yes or no?
Speaker 3 (24:41):
Do you charge your adult children rent if they live
at home with you? How old are they? What's the
age groups here? What's the certain scenario? What's the vibe
if you live at home and you're living large and
your parents charge you rent?
Speaker 4 (24:54):
I want to hear from you too.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
You can use that talk back with Tiff modality when
you search Kiss on iHeartRadio, or or you can call
me because I'd love to hear your voice this morning
five one three seven seven one. Hi, good morning. You're
waking up with Tip in the morning on Kiss one
oh seven one with your chance to see Wicked in
in advance with me at Showcase Cinema in Springdale on
(25:16):
Wednesday night at seven o'clock with the keyword rent? Parents?
Do you charge your kid's rent if they live at
home with you?
Speaker 4 (25:24):
This was a talkback that I had just gotten.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
If you're walking into this conversation, we're in the midst
of chit chatting about that right now. Hi, You're on
the air, so right.
Speaker 10 (25:32):
Now, me and my fiance are living with my parents.
We're saving up to buy a house because the housing market's.
Speaker 6 (25:38):
Just crazy right now.
Speaker 4 (25:39):
Yes, namer.
Speaker 10 (25:40):
So my parents' agreement with us is, like, my fiance
pays a little bit, I don't pay anything, but we
have to have proof that we're saving up and putting
money away.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
Okay.
Speaker 10 (25:52):
Also, I'm also getting a master's degree as well, so
during all that, it's also the process of me still
being it partially in college. So my parents are like,
there's no point in you strain your bank account while
you're still in school when only one of you is
really having a full time job right now.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
Okay, So you definitely I probably came off a little
harsh because you're right, there's a lot of things that
you have to pay for and say for with a
master's degree, et cetera, and all those things.
Speaker 4 (26:20):
So I can see where you're coming from.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
I like that you and your parents have worked out
a deal, though, as far as you have to show
proof and whatnot. What's it like to live at home.
I'm just more curious about that now that we're talking
about it.
Speaker 10 (26:33):
So I'm a little lucky. My parents built the house
that I grew up in and the house in front
of them was where my father grew up, and my
grandmother willed that to me and my siblings, and she
passed away due to COVID. So my dad is in housing,
so he helped refurbish the house. So we don't live
(26:54):
directly in the house with them, but I do live
five hundred feet in front of them.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
A lot a lot of houses in the family there.
You know, I get it. Thank you for the call.
Speaker 4 (27:04):
I really appreciate you.
Speaker 7 (27:05):
Gal.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
It is it's a hard knock life for those trying
to come up and pay for college and get master's
degrees and et cetera, et cetera. It's yeah, but they gotta.
You gotta pay for something, all right. If you want
to join me at the advanced screening for Wicket on
(27:26):
Wednesday night in Springdale at Showcase Cinema five one three
seven nine one seven one, good luck, because you're waking up.
Speaker 6 (27:34):
It's if in the morning on chis one O seven
to one, so good.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Christina Aguilera joined Sabrina Carpenter during her tour. I'm gonna
have that in three Things you need to Know two
songs from now. Hi, good morning. You're on the air.
Speaker 4 (27:47):
I'm hoping you have a keyword for me.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
Congratulations, Gal, you have the keyword your collar ten and
you're coming to the movies with me all right Wednesday
at seven o'clock Showcase Cinema and Spraindale. Those are my people.
They're gonna set it up for us. We're gonna have.
Speaker 4 (28:05):
Ourselves a little wicked party.
Speaker 3 (28:06):
And this is I mean the movie hasn't even it
won't come out until Friday, so we'll have the inside track.
Speaker 11 (28:11):
Oh, this is great.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
You guys know how much I love them. What is
your name of what neighborho are you waking up with
me in this morning?
Speaker 6 (28:17):
Linda?
Speaker 3 (28:19):
Linda, you're near my neighborhood. Thank you for listening to
Tiff in the morning every day. Okay, it sounds like
you have a little gal or a little kid in
your background. There are they coming with?
Speaker 6 (28:31):
What she could come with?
Speaker 12 (28:34):
Well?
Speaker 3 (28:34):
Thank you for making us a part of your morning
routine with the drop off. I appreciate you.
Speaker 6 (28:38):
You bet your every morning with you.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
I love it if you took an l on these
bonus chants on our social page right now at Kiss
one oh seven, it's pinned to the top.
Speaker 4 (28:49):
Okay, and speaking of Wicked.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
I will have I have some things, I have some
Wicked details that we need to go over. And three
things you need to know two songs from now good.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
Morning, when you need to know She's got you.
Speaker 6 (29:05):
It's three things with tip good Morning.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
We're just before nine o'clock on this Monday, and we're
going to start off with Wicked and some of the
things happening. So with the launch of Wicked this Friday,
it is also the launch of the movie three hundred.
Speaker 4 (29:23):
It's coming out with its sequel after like years.
Speaker 3 (29:26):
I'll get to that in a hot second, but all
the press for Wicked continues. Here's a clip of Ariana
Grande and Cynthia Arrivo singing a new Wicked song.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
I'm a Witch and I'm a Witch, Witch is Witch?
Speaker 6 (29:39):
Well, here's a switch.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
We were roommates back at school. Elfie's awkward, Glinda's cool.
We were strangers that snowline, but now our bestie is.
Speaker 7 (29:47):
The school we go to gets cool.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
Chizz I study hot every quiz well, Glinda chases boys
with quiz One day will both meet you? Hey, hey stop,
This song's good kind of the.
Speaker 3 (29:58):
Bop Green Hey holes.
Speaker 4 (30:02):
And all of us I'm looking forward to it.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
I just gave away away a pair of tickets to
the advanced screening with me. We're doing a little party
at Showcase Cinema in Springdale at seven o'clock on Wednesday.
If you want to enter to win that, you can
jump on our Instagram right now at Kiss one oh
seven for bonus chances. It's pinned right up at the top. Okay,
speaking of Ariana Grande and Cynthia Reeva.
Speaker 4 (30:24):
Oh wait, wait, wait, wait, hold on, hold on hold.
Speaker 3 (30:26):
I had mentioned that three hundred sequel comes out this
Friday as well. We're getting a little Barbie Oppenheimer vibes here.
Airbnb teamed up with the movie to do this special
promotion where, for the first time in nearly two thousand years,
the Coliseum in Rome is returning to its original purpose
as a venue for performances. We're inviting daring warriors to
(30:48):
step foot inside the historic arena to forge their own
paths and shape their destinies. If you happen to be
in Rome this Friday, you'll have to check that out. Second,
in three things you need to know this morning, let's
talk about out snl Over the weekend, there was a
skit for Wicked.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
I'm sure you'll come across on your socials.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
There was also a remake of the infamous Domingo song.
I'll play that in a second, But Sabrina Carpenter was
doing her La tour and Marcelo Hernandez, who plays Domingo
in the SNL skit, was brought out on stage or
in the crowd. Sabrina Carpenter usually calls one person out
every time she does a show, and.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
It happened to be him. Here's a clip him.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
Where are you from?
Speaker 8 (31:35):
Miami? Miami?
Speaker 3 (31:41):
I was he were from my bedroom?
Speaker 7 (31:44):
What are you doing tonight?
Speaker 5 (31:48):
I'm the keut boy with the blue jack kan and
the big accent. Well you sure are gorgeous.
Speaker 4 (31:56):
I'm getting so bustered and overwhelmed, like, Hi.
Speaker 3 (32:01):
Is there anything you want to say?
Speaker 5 (32:02):
Before I arrescue to Mingo?
Speaker 6 (32:06):
How to experience?
Speaker 4 (32:10):
And of course here's the OG skit.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
God, it's still iconic. They remade it as well with
Charlie XCX this weekend. It's the baby shower version. So funny.
You'll just come across those clips, all right. I believe
that is three things you need to know to get
your day started. Here in Cincy for the eighteenth of November.
(32:37):
Coming up next, more music on Kiss Hi the weekend
on Tiff in the Morning. God, I wish we were
still back at the weekend. You're waking up with Kiss
one oh seven one. I hope you're off to a
good start on this Monday morning. If you're curious on
what it's like to be a neuro divergent radio host,
come on into my world for a few I just
(32:57):
spent minute hearing three things you need to Know talking
about the release of Wicked on Friday, and also the
release of the movie three hundred, which is nowhere near
being correct. But somehow my brain has told me that
instead of Gladiator coming out with its sequel for the
first time many years and years, I had said the
(33:19):
movie three hundred, which is so wrong. It is also
the launch of the movie three hundred. It's coming out
with its sequel after like years.
Speaker 4 (33:29):
I'll get the reva. Oh wait, wait, wait, wait, hold on,
hold on hold.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
I had mentioned that three hundred, the sequel comes out
this Friday as well. Bring a little Barbie Oppenheimer vibes here.
What is wrong with me?
Speaker 1 (33:42):
God?
Speaker 3 (33:42):
You know, this is just proof that those that are neurodivergent.
You can still live your career dreams even though you
might come off as an idiot.
Speaker 8 (33:50):
Why am not at the time?
Speaker 5 (33:52):
Why are you not at the time?
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Yeah, so Gladiator comes out this weekend. Okay, I gotta
move on from that. Sorry, guys, I'm misspoke. It is
not three hundred coming up after espresso, Let's actually talk
about movies and television. What did you watch this weekend?
What's what's big? What do we need to chat about?
You can talk back with tiff on iHeartRadio to get
a jump on the convo. We'll get to that right after.
Sabrina bend El.
Speaker 6 (34:15):
Why are you not at the time?
Speaker 12 (34:17):
Why are you not at the time?
Speaker 6 (34:20):
You're waking up fifth in the morning?
Speaker 3 (34:22):
Kiss one hy, good morning, Good morning. You know I
had just talked about how Gladiator is coming out with
its second movie this Friday, and I haven't seen a
single ounce of press on Gladiator two here in the US.
Isn't that bizarre? No wonder why I called the movie
three hundred. Hate myself for that. I loved the original Gladiator.
(34:46):
Oh my god, it was so good. Mmm it makes
me cry every time. It's been years, like the early
two thousands and they remade it and there's been like
I said, nothing on it. We're in the midst of
talking about what's big in the theaters, what you're watching
at home. I usually do this on Fridays and Mondays,
because you know how I feel, TV has become a
part of a huge part of pop culture conversation. If
(35:07):
you run out of things to talk about with somebody,
just ask them what they're watching on TV. There will
always be an answer for that. And it's that time
of year with the darkness at night where you might
find yourself watching things maybe a little earlier in the
night than you used to when the daylight was out.
But that's called season all depression and we fight it
right here on this show. So gladiat Or two coming
(35:29):
out on Friday, seen no Press. I will see the
movie at one point, but obviously the big one in
theaters is Wicked, and we're doing an advanced screening with
Tiff in the morning Wednesday at Showcase Cinema. If you
want to enter, just go to our Instagram at Kiss
one oh seven.
Speaker 4 (35:43):
Okay, what else is big? It's gonna be a big theater.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
Push over the next couple of months, because outside of
those two, Moana is coming out with its sequel right
around Thanksgiving, and I think.
Speaker 4 (35:54):
A few others.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
Maybe I'll get Mark from Showcase Cinema to jump on
the show and give us the lowdown on that stuff.
What are you watching home? I am a big fan
of Apple TV. You guys know this, and Silo just
dropped its second season on Friday. If you haven't seen it.
Chris and I have been going back and forth. Chris
is just a friend of mine from Twitter. I'd been
recommending this one for quite a bit of time, and
(36:17):
he's like, oh my god, I just started it. It's good.
I'm gonna wait for it to bank a few episodes
so that I can really sit down and pay attention
to it. But they just dropped the first episodes of
season two of Silo on Apple. Highly recommend it. And
then I'm in the midst of bouncing between Veep, which
is one of my favorites, the other two another favorite
(36:37):
of mine, and Hacks. I'm a first timer with Hacks.
That one's good. Those are all on HBO. I have
to go back and forth between shows depending on my
mood because I also started tell Me Lies and I
have a hard time with that one. Have you ever
gotten into a relationship with a show where you are
invested and you want to get to the end, but
you hate everyone in it, so you're like, I need
(36:58):
a break. I can watch it episode and then I
need a break. That's me with this damn show. There's
so much swid struggling with inner demons, and we try
to fight the swid on this show. Don't gatekeep If
there's something that you're watching you want to make note
of the ones I just mentioned. You can get caught
up on the podcast. You can talk back with Tiff
on what it is that you love? Search Kiss on iHeartRadio.
(37:19):
You'll see the microphone next to the play button. Coming
up at nine forty, we're gonna do the daily debrief.
Have you ever gotten a text message from a random
number even though you've had your phone number for years
and years, but they think you're someone else.
Speaker 4 (37:30):
You'll never believe the text that I got. We'll get
to that next
