Speaker 1 (00:00):
Just one O seven one, it's time for Tuesday tips
on TIF in the morning. I hate doing research. I
hate it.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
No, I love Abby though. Abby does all the research
so that we don't have to. She is everything since
he comes once a week to kind of give us
the things that you can, you know, sprinkle into your life.
If you want to get out of your house, maybe
you do a lot of stuff solo like I do.
These are good activities to do by yourself. These are
good to do if you've got friends coming in from
out of town and you don't know how to entertain
(00:29):
them for the holidays or family.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Hello, Hi, Abby, good morning. Where are we starting?
Speaker 3 (00:34):
Hi? What a welcome. Thank you for so much on
the kind words.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
But you are right.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
We are your go to for all the things and
it's we're our full swing holiday mode. So, starting this Friday,
November twenty second, Surviving since Natti Chlis Kettle Market at
Morelin Loggerhouse has its opening night. So this is going
to start at seven. Actually they're going to be starting
step at six thirty pm with Santa Claus Grinch and
(01:01):
Sandy lu. They've got a new ice.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Rink down there this year.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
All kinds of shops and all kinds of foods and
it's godn't be a really really fun time. They Greg
always does such great events and he's really amps it
up this year.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
An ice skating rink. I feel like that's new.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
Yeah, we had this slide last year. Now there's an
ice skating rink with like a little ice skating trail
Coral And this is a free event. So the entire
event will be free and it goes through too.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Okay, yes, ebody, Oh that'll be fun.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
Okay, so you said it's free, I interrupted you. Free
is for me?
Speaker 3 (01:46):
Yes, free, free and always a great place to go
down and just mingle and meet new people and have
a nice little cocktail and maybe shop some local vendors.
And speaking of shopping, Ryan Geist and Art on Vine
have the second weekend. They're doing like a five weekend
holiday market. And so we're on the second weekend and
this is the shop small weekend. We're gonna have over
(02:09):
eighty local vendors joining down there this Saturday. I'm sorry,
it's gonna be this Sunday from twelve to six.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Okay, And that's easy to hop the street car or walk.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Yeah, right there, the street car dropped off literally right
in front of there, so in the parking. You know,
it's not great around there, but there's parking down in
the city. And then get on the street cars. It's
a little adventure.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Be like a city girl, be a little Carrie Bradshaw.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
You know, you park and you take the street car
and go walking around and shopping.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
So cute.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
Yeah, and then you walk back with your bags from
the street car. You're just living city life. I cannot
believe that Thanksgiving is already next weekend, so shopping time
is here, So get started early so you are not stressed.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
Yeah, says who. I'm not doing that. I'm going out
to dinner. I love that you do that every year.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
I think that's really cool because I'm hosting that year.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
I'm already stressing. Oh, I wish you luck. Do you
have any tips for that? Is that what you're talking about?
Speaker 3 (03:11):
No, I was just talking about shopping. You know. Black
Friday Saturday falls right after Thanksgiving, so people always like
feel like, oh, now we can start shopping, and I'm like, no, start.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Now, start right now, get it done. Yeah, small business.
I forget that. There's not only there's Black Friday, which
people have kind of met on a small business Saturday.
People still love. Then you've got cyber Monday. Now you
get travel Tuesday to worry about.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Yeah, it's incrazy, That's what I mean. We're like full
swing ahead. Once next week happens, everyone's going to be
checked out of work because you would have a full holiday.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Notes, you would best be served to not close your eyes.
Do not blink if you can keep your I know
you'll get dry eye, but do not blink because you'll
wake up and it will be twenty twenty five.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
Right right. But if there was one other thing you
wanted to do with the fairly this is new. They're
doing movie mornings at the rink at Mountain Square and
so you can go and ice skate or just go
and hang out and watch a movie. And that's from
ten am to twelve pm. And this Sunday they're sharing
ice age. Cute.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
I like the idea that it's in the morning.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
Yeah, I know you're on morning goal.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
I am okay. These are great activities abby from everything.
Sincy does the research every week so you don't have
to put effort into that. You can also check her
out on social or everythingsinc dot com.

it's time. What's going on here? Sorry?
Speaker 2 (04:36):

We were talking about engagement stories on the show earlier
this morning. There are two major things that people would
change about their proposal if they could.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
We'll run through that.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
And maybe some of your stories coming up at nine
point forty and the daily debrief. The best way to
keep listening to TIF in the morning is on iHeartRadio
when you search Kiss one oh seven one and if
you want to get a jump on what you what
your proposal was like.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
