Speaker 1 (00:00):
Baby, check you out, tough, Pete Small.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Hi, kiss Hi, good morning. I'm hearing that seventy five
on both directions right now is just a nightmare. A nightmare.
We can catch a break out on these streets today,
really though, It's just it looks like twenty five or

(00:39):
thirty minutes. The scenery of the dump truck that I've
seen on some of our news pages doesn't look good.
So I'm sending you good vibes and hopefully good juju.
If there's any way to abort the mission, go back
home to it, do wit. I can call your boss
for you. I'll write the email. I'll walk you through.

(01:00):
What would I say? Dear so and so, so and
so is trapped in what we like to call Cincinnati's
nightmare on the roads. It's been continuing now for several weeks.
Every day it feels as if there's something new to
report on how challenging it is to get around the city.
All right, how are you outside of that? I'm in

(01:21):
the midst of googling questions to ask my doctor as
a thirty four year old woman going on thirty five.
I've got my annual physical today this afternoon.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
And.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
I'm I'm aware now just how much money medical things cost.
And I'm cheap. Even though I have a health savings account,
I don't feel like paying any time I want to
ask a question. So isn't it wild? It's just wild
to me how insurance works. I mean, we don't have
to get into it in depths, but I'm only going

(01:57):
to be able to see my doctor one time a year.
I have to get all the questions that I might
need to ask her within three hundred and sixty five
days into one visit. I'm like, what, what?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Like?

Speaker 3 (02:06):
What's important? What should I be asking this woman? Pray
for me, Pray that all is well. Everything seems to
be okay. Though coming up around no I should remind
you if you want to go see Wicket at tomorrow
night at our advanced screening at Showcase Cinema. I have
one final pair of tickets to give you around eight
thirty this morning. I always recommend listening on the iHeartRadio app.

(02:29):
That way, you can go from one place to another
and listen to music and be a part of content
and conversation, et cetera. All right, six point fifty, we'll
dive into the three things you need to know to
get your day started in sincey including what is the
latest on this bridge? Like you're not gonna believe the
things that this that O dot is saying about the bridge.
I'll have that in more next.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
When you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
It's three things with tip.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Hi, good morning, good morning. Quickly, Chuck is going to
provide you with updates on seventy five in just like
two minutes once I'm lying too more than that, once
I get through three things you need to know. So
if you're sitting in stop traffic, stand by doesn't get
any better, especially if you're traveling home for seventy one
south these days. Here's the latest from O DOT on

(03:21):
the bridge repairs.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
This isn't off the shelf. Go to the big box
store or look in a catalog and order your your materials.
This is going to be custom fabrication for these so
completely different scenario here than what we anticipated. But also
they're a significant amount of damage, more damage than what
we could see before.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
So what's the latest on the timeline. Because I'd been
promising you that by like last night. I'm sorry last
Friday early, like yesterday today, we were going to hopefully
get a timeline. Well here's the report that came out
yesterday on that.

Speaker 6 (03:55):
My hope is that maybe next week we can say
something about the schedule book. We'll let you know we
do have that locked down, but there's a lot that's
going to be happening in the next in the next
several days.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
All I have to say is I am with you
so hard on that commute because I live one in
the neighborhoods that surround the Taylor, Southgate, et cetera, and
just like the day to day commute, doing this and
that is annoying. But then of course everyone that's on
their way home is also super annoyed as well. I
was talking to John John the other day. It said

(04:29):
took them like over an hour to get to Alexandria.
So I am rooting. I'm rooting for the rooting for
the repairs, rooting for the repairs here on the show.
And there's more. I'll have that for you all right. Second,
in three things you need to know, let's talk about
Diddy has been I dare I say maybe a month
since I've covered something with Ditty as of a day

(04:49):
or so ago, or at some point, you know, behind
the wall, things are different than here. Ditty's jail cell
was rated and they had found a cell phone. They
took the cell phone from what But I've watched of
like documentaries, prison documentaries. Having a cell phone in prison
isn't that big of a deal. I mean, you scroll
TikTok every once in a while, and they're going live
from in there. So that's not really what the lawyer

(05:12):
was concerned about. Concerned about the letters? Did he had
been writing and writing and writing and writing letters, I'm
assuming over the last month two months, and those were seized,
given to the US Attorney's Office and the prosecutors with
no warning, and we don't really know what else was taken.

Speaker 7 (05:29):
Now.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
I don't think that jail gives anyone a warning as
to what they're going to do. However, I'm curious how
this violates attorney client privilege if he was writing down
all of the things, right, you know, you think of
one thing, you write it down, You think of another thing,
you write it down. I don't know how that plays
into it. When there's more on that one, I'll have

(05:50):
it for you. And then lastly, in three things you
need to know this morning, Sabrina Carpenter. Two things. I
wanted to pull the audio for this. How did I
forget that Sabrina has been performing in Los Angeles and
so many celebrities had pulled up to her show. We're
talking Katie Perry, Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Blue Ivy No, Beyonce,

(06:13):
John Mayer, and Moore. Like just La has been packed
with Sabrina celebs. But Netflix is giving us more details
on Sabrina Carpenter's Christmas Special, which I believe comes out
on December sixth, starring Chapel Roone well starring Sabrina Carpenter,
but performances by Chapel Rone, Kyle Uchis, Shanaya Twain, Tyla

(06:35):
special guest Quinta Brunson. You'll know her from Abbott Elementary,
Kara Delavine, Kyle Mooney, and a few others. Now, I'm
second guessing myself as to when this comes out. Let
me pull it up in my head. I'm pretty sure
it's December six Netflix. Stay with me for a second. Yeah, yeah,

(07:00):
did I say it right? Sorry, guys, my brain? No,
December all right, December seventh, That's all I have to
say for you this morning. That is three things you
need to know for the nineteenth of November. One more
thing I wanted to mention, Oh, the weather. So temperatures

(07:20):
are going to be in the sixties today with these
off and on rain showers, and then we'll start to
decline in temperatures. Tomorrow will be in the fifties and
then we could see a rain snow mix on Thursday.
That's it for you, Okay. Coming up next, we're commercial
free around seven oh five. Make a Date or Break
is where relationships in therapy come together on my show

(07:43):
and you can get a jump on some of the questions. Now,
if you want to talk about your relationship with a professional,
you're more than welcome to either remain anonymous or come
forward as you are. We'll take you either way. Good morning.
You're waking up with Tip in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one Rihanna talking about relationships.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
There.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Of course, Tuesdays are our day to talk about relationships
on at Tiff in the morning. Before I get to that,
I just have to quickly correct myself in three things
you need to know. A couple of minutes ago, I
had said that Sabrina Carpenter's Christmas Variety special comes out
on the seventh. I was right, I was second guessing myself.
That's what being Neurodivergent does, Tia. It does come out

(08:22):
on December sixth, and it comes out in the UK
on December seventh, So if you happen to be traveling
to Europe, you won't be able to catch Sabrina until
the seventh. Okay, all right, coming up, two songs from now,
how would you grade your marriage proposal? Only thirty nine
percent of Americans would give their marriage proposal an A plus.

(08:44):
And what are the two things that they would change?
If you're getting ready to propose to someone maybe over
the holidays, these are the two things to avoid. Maybe
you can get a guess on it, and we'll get
to that. Two songs from now with Tory Sharp Pagescence
Clinical counselor Good morning time.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
It's time to make a date or break on TIF
in the morning.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
Hi, good morning. Tuesdays are the day that we connect
about relationships. And because I am just one woman, I
brought in a professional. You guys know her. We used
to refer to her as doctor Love, but we just
kind of call her by her real name now Lori Sharpage.
Good morning, Good morning, let's talk about proposals since we're
heading into the holiday season. I don't know if people

(09:28):
still propose during the holidays or not, but I just
found this headline interesting. It's gonna ultimately lead to us
talking about your proposals, the different proposals that you've seen
your friends go through, maybe your own experience. I'm curious
because there are two things that those who have been
proposed to would change if they could. Okay, thirty nine

(09:52):
percent of Americans would give their proposal an A plus.

Speaker 7 (09:56):
That's is that a lot? I mean an A plus
is high? Yeah, I think that's a lot. Forty percent
really loved this.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
That's great. The two things about a proposal with the
most popular changes would be one the location thirty five
percent of people say that they would change the location
in which they proposed and the ring ten percent of people. Ooh,
I feel like now what I've heard from friends who

(10:24):
are in the stage of their life. For reference, I'm
thirty four, so a lot like half of my friends
were proposed to in their like later twenties, and the
other half are kind of just starting to get proposed to.
The ring shopping is a joint experience.

Speaker 7 (10:41):
Now I think more and more it is a joint experience,
and I think that makes a lot of sense pragmatically,
because you're gonna wear it for the rest of your life,
so they'll love it.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
I'll never forget my roommate from college, her fiance proposed
to her with the ring that just was not what
she wanted, and then later in life she went and
kind of got it redone has that come up across
your desk. Absolutely.

Speaker 7 (11:07):
I actually have a friend that is in the process
of redesigning her ring right now. And I've had clients
that have gone through something tough together as a couple
and have actually redesigned their rings as a way to
memorialize getting through that. So there's lots of opportunities really
to revise the ring.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Yeah, do you you're married? How was it? Walk me
through what your proposal was like?

Speaker 7 (11:28):
So we were down at the Covington Riverfront. It was
just a nice day. We had lunch and my boyfriend
at the time surprised me. So it was very simple,
very Cincinnati, and we got our wedding pictures done in
the same place.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
It was wonderful. Was it a surprise.

Speaker 7 (11:44):
Yeah, it was, and it wasn't because we were of
a certain age. We had bought a house together. You know,
we've done lots of things, so it wasn't a huge surprise.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
But yeah, more and more now people are going through
all that those big phases that you just mentioned without
getting proposed to or getting married.

Speaker 7 (12:06):
Yeah, what's that conversation like? So, today's marriage is a
legal pathway and that doesn't work for everybody. And I
think there's more space now to explore what a committed
relationship can look like without marriage, and there's lots of
different avenues that that can take. So I think there's
a lot more space for people to decide if marriage

(12:26):
is something that they want in their relationship or if
long term commit a relationship without marriage is more their vibe.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
What's your opinion on getting with someone and like not
knowing if you want to get married or not. This
is maybe I'm being selfish because I'm asking for me personally,
I'm kind of like take it or leave it when
it comes to marriage. It just to kind of depends
on I'm a vibes person, not a facts person, so
it depends on the vibe of the relationship. On whether

(12:53):
or not I want to move forward with that. Is
that an okay position to get into a relationship.

Speaker 7 (12:57):
I think that is a beautiful way to handle yourself
because you are allowing yourself to figure it out day
by day, moment by moment, and with these big things,
a lot of times we are grown up with these
expectations that we will do these things, and sometimes things
don't work out the way that we expect it. Speaking
to the other sixty percent of America who's not happy
with the proposal, yeah, expectations, man, But I do think

(13:20):
there's a space here to like, it's okay if you
don't know if marriage is something that you want. And
sometimes we do meet the right person and we think, okay,
this is something we want and sometimes it never changes
and that's okay.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Okay, Okay. I have one more thing for you. Thirty
six percent of partners who proposed got down on one knee.
I feel like that's a low percentage. Yeah, what else
are you doing if you're not getting down on one knee?
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (13:44):
I guess I don't know. I'm having a hard time
kind of conceptualizing that too. It does seem like getting
on one knee is the is the process, but clearly
there's a whole group that are doing it differently.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
Okay, my neurodivergent brain likes to do two things at once.
So here's what's coming up next. I would like to
hear from you Cincinnati on some of your proposal stories.
Talk back with Tiff on iHeartRadio, whether you loved it,
hated it. I always love a good disaster story that
we can laugh at later. Talk back with Tiff if
you want on iHeart you can search Kiss. You'll see
the microphone next to the play button or Lori Sharpage

(14:16):
and I are in here now and you can call
five win three seven four nine one oh seven one.
While we're awaiting you, I'm also gonna get us the
top places to propose to someone here in the Tri
State if you're looking to do that, Let's say over
the next six or so weeks with the holidays, so
don't go far. Good morning, Good morning. You're waking up

(14:37):
with Tiff in the morning on Kiss one oh seven one,
in the midst of make a Date or Break It's
where relationships and therapy come together on my show. That's
all you kind of need to know at this point,
I'm confused, Laurie. If you're not bending the knee to propose,
how else are you delivering the ring box.

Speaker 7 (14:53):
Well, one time, when I was at Hopper House many
years ago, it was about that time when things are
shifting from like the normal rush to the rowdy rush.
Someone stood on one of the benches and started to propose,
and the person they were proposing to just stood up
and walked out of the Hopper House.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
How many people were in the restaurant, I mean it
was pretty busy.

Speaker 7 (15:13):
Like I said, it was about ray to kind of
transition to the nighttime party, So it was pretty full,
and it got really quiet when it all happened, and
then they left and then it just went back to normal.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
No, if you're just joining our conversation, LORI is our
licensed clinical counselor, and I had found this article about
how only what was it? What was the percentage? Thirty
thirty percent of people liked the way that they were
proposed to. In fact, there's two major facts. If you're
planning on proposing that people would change. Number one, the

(15:46):
location shout out to Hopper House but maybe not ideal,
maybe not for them. And to the ring so we're
in the midst of talking about just different proposals, whether
or not you've loved the way that you were proposed to,
hated it, or if it was a disaster that you
can now laugh at later, if something happened. We'll start
with you. Good morning, you're on the air.

Speaker 8 (16:06):
He proposed to me while we were clicking up the
lift hill of the Raptor roller coaster at Pier Point.
He was were roller coaster junkies, and so he figured
that was the perfect way to propose.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Did you love it?

Speaker 4 (16:22):
Yes.

Speaker 8 (16:23):
It was the only year that they actually had video
cameras on the ride too, so we actually have a
video and you can just see me with the death
grip on a ring box. It was a twenty dollars
It was a twenty dollars ring from Target.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Oh okay, okay, obviously.

Speaker 8 (16:43):
They want to you don't want to risk anything the
death grip on this ring box. And I'm just crying
as we're on this roller coaster.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Laughing, Oh my god, you didn't know it was coming,
did you.

Speaker 8 (16:55):
I knew that it was kind of coming down the
line at some point, but definitely did not.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
But that moment, Oh my gosh, I love that for you.
Remind me what your name is and what neighborhood you
calling me from.

Speaker 8 (17:07):
My name is Molly and I'm coming from the west
side of Cincinnati.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Thank you for the call, Molly. I appreciate that. So, Okay,
that's a good one. That's a really good one. I
feel like that was definitely based on what their relationship was.
I promised that we would run through some of the
top places in the tri State too proposed to. Maybe
this is a future thing for you, maybe idea I can.
I can see some partners right now being like yeah,

(17:32):
because I was about to google the same thing. So
it's fine, we'll take care of it for you. The
top places in Cincy are Mount Lookout Park, Alt Park,
Eden Park, and Washington Park. No matter what season you're in,
there's something about our parks that's just matched. We are
so lucky, they're so beautiful. Other ones that are popular,
and I hadn't heard of this one the zoo.

Speaker 7 (17:53):
Oh yeah, the zoo. Getting getting proposed to in front
of Fiona was quite a thing.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
For a little bit. I don't know how it smells.

Speaker 7 (18:03):
It's just it's a very Cincinnati thing, like getting engaged
in the skyline.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Is that happening. I'm sure, I'm sure. I I think.

Speaker 7 (18:12):
It really just depends on your relationship. Absolutely it does,
and there's no right or wrong. There's all different nuance
to this as long as it matters to you, guys.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
According to Google, I just did a loose Google search
of this as well, and feel free to contribute. Riverfront,
that's where you are, That's where I was. Twenty one
ce Museum beautiful in the Cincinnati Art Museum as well
was also a big one. Also beautiful places that were
also listed that I do not agree with. Here we go,
bb Riverboat Woman tell me Ohio Fountain Square, Yeah, it depends.

(18:53):
And then Spring Grove Cemetery.

Speaker 7 (18:55):
Yeah, that one is a little it's different, But for
the right couple, I could see that big a dream
come true.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
And also because I feel as if I have to
speak to everyone. If you are like me and you
have no plans of having a proposal or getting married
at this point in your life, don't you worry. I'm
right there with you, babe. I appreciate you listening. All right,
we are commercial free for a little bit longer. You're
more than welcome to share your proposal stories. With us

(19:24):
and whether they were good, bad, ugly, funny, whatever.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
The case may be.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
If ive win three, seven, four, nine, one oh seven one,
good morning. We're just a few minutes out from the
three things you need to know to get your day started.
Here in Cincy on Kiss one oh seven one. How
much money do you think Mike Tyson was offered for
that but cheek shot that they got of how much?

Speaker 4 (19:45):
How much?

Speaker 3 (19:46):
I mean a few millies? I would think I'll have
that for you, Like I said a couple songs from now.
We're in the midst of wrapping up Make a Date
or Break, which is where relationships and therapy kind of
connect on my show throughout the seven o'clock hour on Tuesdays.
Lri sharp Page is our licensed clinical count Ultler. We're
in the midst of talking about what proposals. Yeah, there
was an article that came out about the percentage of

(20:07):
people that liked their proposal versus the ones they didn't.
We've run through some top spots to propose in the
tri State. I forgot to mention this everything that I
had talked about with Cincinnati related there's not much going
on in northern Kentucky for proposals.

Speaker 7 (20:21):
It doesn't seem that way, but yeah, yeah, I mean
there's that ugly side of the riverfront down there by,
like where you park by the Bengals.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
Well they did, oh you know what they did redo
that is on the Kentucky side.

Speaker 5 (20:33):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
Anyways, we're in the midst of taking your proposal stories,
whether they're good, bad, ugly, something you can laugh at later.

Speaker 5 (20:41):
I am sharing my proposal story, which is my now
husband took us to the place that we went on
our first date, which was a park, and before that
we had sushi and then we went in pet puppies
and he proposed with a puppy and we had a

(21:04):
little picnic date with sushi afterwards.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
I was great, mean puppies and diamonds. Oh my god,
Oh my gosh, this is so great. This was such
a great idea. That's sweet. I love effort. I think
the one thing that you can remember is partners like effort.
If you put effort into it, babe, I'm sure they'll
love it.

Speaker 7 (21:24):
And intentionality too, like taking her back to where they
first met, that meeting there and then having the puppy.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
I love it. Okay, Well, I will be not no
proposals for me over the holidays, and I'm okay with that.
And if you're in the same boat, you got a
friend in me. Two songs from now will dive into
the three things you need to know to get your
day started. Here And sincey Lori Sharpage, thank you very much.
She comes in on Tuesdays and you can always find
her at the Coping Queen on Instagram. If you felt
uncomfortable and did not want to reach out to us

(21:50):
this morning, that's fine, Thanks Laurie. Thanks for having me.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
Lynn. You need to know she's got you.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
It's three things with Ti.

Speaker 3 (22:07):
Hi, good morning, Good morning. Hey, we're just before eight o'clock.
At eight thirty, I have your final chance of this
week to win a pre screening PAP pre screening what
is this? A doctor's office advance screening passes to see
Wicked early with me tomorrow night at Showcase Cinema. So
if you can squeeze it in tomorrow night, tickets are

(22:27):
happening at eight thirty. Temperatures right now in the sixties.
Kind of enjoy this mild temperature, whether that we have
with rainch hours becomes as of Thursday, we could see
a rain snow mix. All right, let's talk about traffic
and bridges, et cetera. First of all, seventy five still
a little bit of a nightmare from what I'm hearing.
Chuck Ingram's gonna give you the details on that accident

(22:48):
from early this morning. But what's the latest on the bridge.
If you haven't heard this yet, here we go, and
I'm talking about four to seventy one.

Speaker 6 (22:55):
Obviously, this isn't off the shelf, go to the big
box store or look in a cattalog can order your materials.
This is going to be custom fabrication for these so
completely different scenario here than what we anticipated. But also
there a significant amount of damage, more damage than what
we could see before.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
That doesn't make me feel good. So what is the
timeline on getting the timeline?

Speaker 6 (23:18):
My hope is that maybe next week we can say
something about the schedule book. We'll let you know as
soon as we do have that locked down. But there's
a lot that's going to be happening in in the
next several days.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
I'm with you on it. It is a nightmare for
surrounding community. Like if you want to go to a
concert at Heritage or a Cyclones game, just kind of
getting around to those basic things. It's just such a challenge.
So of course when there's more on that one, I'll
have it for you. Second in three things you need
to know this morning, Olivia Rodrigo is the new face

(23:54):
and voice of long Come, the makeup brand.

Speaker 7 (23:57):
Okay, I'm Olivia Rodrigo in Fassible, I'm the new face
of them.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
I'm the new fasi of long Come.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
You know a brand that I don't really see a
lot of press on other people that have other celebrities
that have supported that brand. Julia Roberts is one of them.
Emily Collins from I don't even know Lily Collins as
Emily and Paris has been brand ambassadors for lung Com.
The makeup industry is a very interesting place to be

(24:30):
makeup and skincare right because you have celebrity lines that
have come out. A great example is Fency Beauty. I mean,
that's what put Rihanna into the billionaire stratosphere. So it's
these real, like iconic brands that maybe our parents grew
up with that are still trying to find their lane
and like a TikTok get ready with Me video, and

(24:52):
they're starting to use you know, they've always used celebrities,
but maybe trying to speak to a younger audience by
pulling Olivia rod Regum. All right, and then lastly, and
three things you need to know this morning. Gladiator comes
out the same day that Wicked does this Friday, and
it stars Denzel Washington. I didn't know this, but Denzel
Washington is a big fighting boxing fan, and this is

(25:13):
what he had to say about Tyson and Jake Paul.

Speaker 8 (25:16):
I know you you're a big boxing fan, right, would
you consider what happened this weekend to b boxing.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Mike is one of the old time greats.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Mike is and I'm glad he got paid. I feel
like we all kind of felt that same way. Also,
speaking of Mike Tyson, the more iconic scene from that
fight night was the interview. I just I still, I
still laugh at the fact that he did this, like
tapped up his son, like the waist up, just like

(25:49):
nothing's going on. Turn around, camera pans to just Mike
Tyson and a thong. The editor and the producer of
that shot knew what they were doing. Nonetheless, of course,
anytime a celebrity does anything like that, pornographic websites always
pick it up right cam Soda I Guess is a
popular adult website and said that they're willing to give

(26:12):
Mike Tyson at two hundred and fifty thousand dollars if
he wants to flash his booty again on their live
I don't know, you know, I don't know. I don't
know if that'll happen. That is three things you need
to know for the nineteenth of November coming up at
eight thirty again, your last chance to win passes to
the advanced screening with me at Showcase Cinema to see

(26:33):
Wicked tomorrow night. If you can make it happen last minute,
I'd stay put. And then we're also going to talk
about charging your kids for rent is something that we
got into yesterday, but what about just in general, like
if your parents pay for something for you, do you
pay them back. We have an interesting topic. We're going

(26:54):
to get to that around eight ten. You can get
a jump on it if you feel passionate about it.
Search to Kiss one oh seven one on I Hurt Radio,
which is a great way to get involved with the show.
You'll see the microphone right next to the play button.
You hold that down. You have thirty seconds you're waking.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
Up with fifth in the morning.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
Kiss what parents is?

Speaker 3 (27:11):
The keyword? Parents is the keyword. You're gonna need that
to come to the movies with me Tomorrow night seven o'clock.
Showcase Cinema Springdale is doing a wicked advanced screening before
it comes out on Friday. And if you follow me
on instagrammy you know I love going to Showcase Cinema
movie Sunday Babe started two years ago, stay strong with it.

(27:34):
The reason why the keyword is parents. Imagine asking your
parent to do this one job for you and them
saying the only way I'm gonna do that job for
you is if you pay me. Now, I want all
angles on this, you know me. If we're diving in,
we're going hard, I want to hear from parents because
I bet there's gonna be someone on her side. There's

(27:56):
gonna be someone on his side as well. So I'm
going to float the scenario and then let's go through
the angles together and maybe you are in a similar position.
That's the only reason why I do this type of
show is we take stuff that's happening in the celebrity
world or in our own group dms, and we bring
it to our radio kitchen table every morning and we
talk about it. So my best friend Ashley is renovating

(28:19):
her New Hampshire home for Airbnb purposes and there's a
section of the roof. I'm not a roof expert, but
let's just say there's a section of the roof that
needs to be fixed. And her dad is kind of
one of those jack of all trade dads. I don't
think he's a roofer. Maybe he is by profession, but

(28:40):
he knows how to do roofing things. And she said
to him, Hey, is there a chance that you could
come up to New Hampshire and help me with this project?
And he got real defensive about it. And this is
her telling me the story through secondhand. I don't have
any audio for you, but essentially, he said, if you
want me to come up to New Hampshire from Connecticut
where he lives soliditude and a half hours away at

(29:02):
least and fix your roof, you're gonna need to pay
me for it. And Ashley said, oh, like okay, but
he got real like annoyed and angry with her on
the fact that she had asked him to do this project.
Now this is where the angles come in what side

(29:25):
are you on. Are you thinking, Hey, we're all in
this together. We're family. You know, family is family. We
help where we can. Or are you saying if this
person is a profession in this trade, doesn't matter who
you are, they deserve some sort of money. How would
you handle this? I almost didn't know what to tell

(29:47):
her for advice, so I want to workshop it with
you five one, three seven four nine one o seven one.
Should she pay her dad for this job or should
the dad just do it in good faith because they're fam.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
I was even just found before I met you would
drink too much and that's an issue.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
And I'm okay, good morning. You're waking up with tip
in the morning on Kissuano said, But when we're a
few minutes out from your chance to win my final
pair of passes to come see Wicked with me at
Showcase Cinema for the advanced screening in Springdale tomorrow night.
If you have the keyword that I mentioned earlier in
the show, we're in the midst of talking about parents, wink, wink,

(30:29):
as far as keywords go. Actually, this is a second
day in a row we've had conversations about this. But
my friend Ashley from Boston asked her dad to help
her with a project around the house and he said,
if you want me to fix your roof, you're going
to have to pay me for it, and she was
kind of taken aback. So we're in the midst of,
you know, getting all the angles this morning, we'll start
with you. Good morning, Ashleigh from Mason.

Speaker 9 (30:51):
I think that he should be paid something. Now, maybe
not what he would charge anyone else, but I mean
I think he should be paid. Why they're not family
or not. We love to say that we're family and
give each other discounts and things like that. That's great,
but I mean that's his traite, like he you know,
he works for that, right.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
And then it's time and energy.

Speaker 9 (31:16):
I mean that's a lot well.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
Time, money, and energy are the most valuable things. I
think for human life. Everything's based around that. And so
but when your family, what's the line of how much
money you pay them, if you pay them anything, versus
what their time, money, and energy is worth. And I
see you on it too. I didn't really know how
to have that conversation with my friend because she was
seeking advice. So that's a good point. That is a

(31:41):
good point. Maybe it's not the full sum, but if
you are in your thirties and you have a salary
job and you're not struggling, like if you're struggling, okay,
maybe it's a different story. But if you have the money,
then do you pay it?

Speaker 8 (31:58):
Why not?

Speaker 9 (31:58):
I mean, and then it's a sense of like entitlement.

Speaker 3 (32:04):
Well, Ashley, sorry to cut you short on that. Thank you.
We have to get to these tickets right now, but
I appreciate your input. Five one three seven four nine,
one oh seven one. If you want to go see
Wicked with me tomorrow, go ahead and call.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning on one O.

Speaker 3 (32:19):
Seven one, Hi, good morning. I'm hoping that you have
a keyword for.

Speaker 8 (32:23):
Me, please, that's all I got.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
Okay, what is it, Parrent? Congratulations, you got the keyword
in your collar?

Speaker 4 (32:30):
Ten?

Speaker 8 (32:32):
Awesome, Yay, thank you.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
You're welcome. Now you have to be available to come
tomorrow night. Are you ready to lock in with me?
I sure, am Oh, I'm so excited. Showcase Cinema is
my favorite. It's my favorite theater on the planet, and
I just I love the fact that we're gonna be
able to see Wicked in Imax before everyone else.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
I'm so excited. It's going to be so fun.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
Yeay, are you gonna if you were to dress up,
not that you're required to do that, would you be
Glinda or al Baba?

Speaker 8 (32:58):
I'd probably relate more to Alphaba. I got moreses.

Speaker 3 (33:02):
Well, maybe you do a little bit of both. I'm
sure they'd appreciate that.

Speaker 8 (33:05):
Yeah, we'll mash up.

Speaker 5 (33:07):
Well.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
Thank you for the call, and thank you for listening
to Tiff in the morning every day.

Speaker 4 (33:12):
Awesome.

Speaker 8 (33:12):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
I forgot to get your name and what neighborhood you
got you're in this morning. I got so caught up
in the dresses. I'm Libby and I'm from Bridgetown. Libby,
thank you for listening. If you took an l on these,
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Okay, I'm sorry. The movies tomorrow night. Actually,
I haven't pulled the winner yet from Instagram, so you
can pop onto our page. You already know mine. But

(33:35):
at kis one oh seven's a good search. It's pinned
at the top. There there you go. All right, what's
going on with the bridge? Not good? Not good? You
are not gonna believe what O Dot said about this bridge.
I'll have that in more hopefully good news for you
coming up in Three things you need to know at a.

Speaker 4 (33:53):
Fifty Glynn you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
It's three things with Tip on.

Speaker 3 (34:06):
Good Morning. We're just before nine o'clock. Around nine oh
five ish, I have a chance for you to go
to Miami for our iHeartRadio jingle Ball Live like Camila Abay.
I don't go far. We're gonna get to the bridge.
Updates not good, So I want to start off with
some positive news first. Let's kick it off a Sabrina Carpenter.
I had gotten jumbled with my neurodivergent brain in our

(34:26):
six o'clock hour and said that her Christmas special comes
out on the seventh. That's in the UK. It does
come out on December sixth. Here in the United States,
A nonsense Christmas. And we're getting some insight as to
who's gonna be there. Here's a quick clip of the trailer.
Christmas is coming early this year. I wouldn't count on

(34:47):
a silent night.

Speaker 4 (34:51):
Don't you got any thank you Christmas?

Speaker 3 (34:54):
Welcome to a nonsense Christmas? So good Sabrina Carpenter, is
that it girl? Right now? Now, and I want you
to think about your own dreams and such, because that
girl was doing mall parking lots at Kenwood in twenty
eighteen and now here she is the it girl. The
LA show was what day or two ago, so many

(35:16):
celebrities pulled up, Katie Perry, Hayley Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Blue
Ivy No, Beyonce and John Mayer. I I mean, Sabrina's
that girl. She's got that sexy sense of humor and
just she's done branding really well. Hm. We love it
for her. I'm looking forward to that holiday special.

Speaker 5 (35:35):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (35:35):
Also, I had mentioned the people that are gonna perform
with her Chapel Ron Kliuchis, Shanaiah Twain, Tyla, plus guest
appearances from Kara Delavine, which I find random, and Quinta Brunson,
who you'll know from Abbot Elementary and all right is second.
And three things you need to know this morning? What
are the bridge updates? You know, the damage for four

(35:55):
seventy one solve is far more extensive than what they
originally had thoughts. So here's the timeline update.

Speaker 6 (36:03):
My hope is that maybe next week we can say
something about the schedule.

Speaker 4 (36:06):
Book.

Speaker 6 (36:07):
We'll let you know as soon as we do have
that locked down. But there's a lot that's going to
be happening in the next several days.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
I'm praying. I'm praying for quick relief. I don't think
it's coming, but when there's more in that, when you know,
I'll have it for you. And then lastly, it's a
huge season for movies. We've got Wicked and glad Eater
coming out this Friday, but Moana comes out around Thanksgiving.
Christmas Day is the biopic that Timothy Shallomey is doing
for Bob Dylan. I'm gonna play this clip. It's pretty long,

(36:37):
but lock in because you guys know I love the
movies and you know I love music. Listen to how
good Timothy Shallomey sounds as Bob Dylan.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
Have you been my blue ads Son?

Speaker 8 (36:56):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (36:57):
Have you been my darling young one?

Speaker 5 (37:03):
I stumble on the side of twelve Misty Mountains.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
It's so good. Right, here's the hook. I've been ten
thousand miles in the mouth of a great yard.

Speaker 8 (37:19):
Wow, that's a.

Speaker 3 (37:29):
That's so good. That was Timothy Shallamey. Like I said,
that movie comes out on Christmas. Dam all right, that
is three things you need to know for the nineteenth
of November. Good morning, it's time for Tuesday Tips on
Tip in the morning. I hate doing research.

Speaker 8 (37:42):
I hate it.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
No, I love Abby though. Abby does all the research
so that we don't have to. She is everything since
he comes once a week to kind of give us
the things that you can, you know, sprinkle into your life.
If you want to get out of your house, maybe
you do a lot of stuff solo like I do.
These are good activities to do by yourself. These are
good to do if you've got friends coming in from
out of town and you don't know how to entertain

(38:06):
them for the holidays or family. Hello, Hi, Abby, good morning.
Where are we starting?

Speaker 2 (38:11):
Hi?

Speaker 10 (38:11):
What a welcome.

Speaker 3 (38:12):
Thank you for so much all the kind words.

Speaker 10 (38:15):
But you are right. We are your go to for
all the things and it's we're our full swinging holiday mode.
So starting this Friday, November twenty second, Surviving Cincinnati, Chris
Kendle Market at Moreline Loggerhouse has.

Speaker 4 (38:28):
Its opening night.

Speaker 10 (38:30):
So this is going to start at seven. Actually, they're
going to be starting step at six thirty pm with
Santa Claus Grinch and Sandy lu They've got a new
ice rink down there this year, all kinds of shops
and all kinds of foods and it's gonna be a
really really fun time. They Greg always does such great

(38:50):
events and he's really amps it up this year.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
An ice skating rink. I feel like that's new.

Speaker 10 (38:57):
Yeah, we had this slide last year. Now there's a
skating rink with like a little ice skating trail Coral
And this is a free event. So the entire event
will be free and it goes through too.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
Okay, yeah, everbody, Oh that'll be fun. Okay, so you
said it's free, I interrupted you. Free is for me?

Speaker 10 (39:22):
Yes, free, free and always a great place to go
down and just mingle and meet new people and have
a nice little cocktail and maybe shop some local vendors.
And speaking of shopping, Ryan Geist and Art on Vine
have the second weekend. They're doing like a five weekend
holiday market. And so we're on the second weekend and
this is the shop small weekend. We're gonna have over

(39:46):
eighty local vendors joining down there this Saturday. I'm sorry,
it's gonna be this Sunday from twelve to six, Okay.

Speaker 3 (39:54):
And that's easy to hop the street car or walk.

Speaker 10 (39:58):
Yeah, right there, free car drops off literally right in
front of there. So in the parking. You know, it's
not great around there, but there's parking down.

Speaker 3 (40:07):
In the city.

Speaker 10 (40:07):
And then get on the street cars. It's a little adventure.

Speaker 3 (40:10):
Be like a city girl, be a little Carrie Bradshaw.
You know, you park and you take the street car
and go walking around and shopping so cute.

Speaker 10 (40:18):
Yeah, and then you walk back with your bag in
the street car. You're just living city life. I cannot
believe that Thanksgiving is already next weekend, so shopping time
is here, So get started early so you are.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
Not stressed, Yeah, says who. I'm not doing that. I'm
going out to dinner.

Speaker 10 (40:38):
I love that you do that every year. I think
that's really cool because I'm hosting that. You're I'm already stressing.

Speaker 3 (40:43):
Oh I wish you luck. Do you have any tips
for that? Is that what you're talking about?

Speaker 10 (40:48):
No, I was just talking about shopping.

Speaker 2 (40:50):
You know.

Speaker 10 (40:50):
Black Friday's all Saturday falls right after Thanksgiving, so people
always like feel like, oh, now we can start shopping,
and I'm like, no, start now.

Speaker 3 (40:58):
Start right now, get it done. Yeah, small business, I
forget that. There's not only there's Black Friday, which people
have kind of met on a small business Saturday people
still love. Then you've got cyber Monday. Now you've got
travel Tuesday to worry about.

Speaker 2 (41:12):
Yeah, it's increzy, that's what I mean.

Speaker 10 (41:15):
We're like full swing ahead. Once next week happens, everyone's
going to be checked out of work. Yeah, because you
would have a full holiday, notte.

Speaker 3 (41:23):
You would best be served to not close your eyes,
do not blink. If you can keep your I know
you'll get dry eye, but do not blink because you'll
wake up and it will be twenty twenty five.

Speaker 10 (41:33):
Right right. But if there was one other thing you
wanted to do with the family, this is new. They're
doing movie mornings at the rink at Fountain Square and
so you can go and ice skate or just go
and hang out and watch a movie. And that's from
ten am to twelve pm. And this Sunday they're showing
ice age.

Speaker 9 (41:51):
Cute.

Speaker 3 (41:51):
I like the idea that it's in the morning.

Speaker 10 (41:54):
Yeah, I know, you're a morning gout.

Speaker 3 (41:55):
I am okay. These are great activities abby from everything
since the research every week so you don't have to
put effort into that. You can also check her out
on social or everything'sinc. Dot com. Thanks Gal, thank you
so much. Coming up next to week Lla, It's time.
What's going on here? Sorry? Coming up next? How many

(42:17):
of you liked your proposal? We were talking about engagement
stories on the show earlier this morning. There are two
major things that people would change about their proposal if
they could. We'll run through that and maybe some of
your stories coming up at nine point forty and the
daily Debrief. The best way to keep listening to Tiff
in the morning is on iHeartRadio when you search Kiss
one oh seven one, and if you want to get

(42:38):
a jump on what you what your proposal was like.
I've been loving going through some of these stories talk
back with Tiff. You'll see the microphone right next to
the play button. Good morning,
