It's Tony.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
I just thought i'd chime in on the Uh what
do I snuggle up to at night when I want
to rest and go to sleep.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
That would be Dexter. Oh my god, I find.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
It very soothing that Dexter kicked out.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
The bad guys.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
Have a good day you too.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
Thank you for the talk back with tip. An alternative
way to contribute. If you're not a phone call person,
you can leave me a voice noe either one.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
There are multiple ways to get in touch with me.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
You can search kiss on iHeartRadio and you'll see the
microphone next to the play button. We're in the midst
of talking about what's your go to show when.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
You are trying to fall asleep? Now.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
I don't have a TV in my bedroom, and I
don't feel like that's super uncommon, but I definitely feel
like there are still people that keep TVs in their bedroom.
I can't fall asleep like in a bed, setting to
television like in my own bedroom at night, because I
have to be pretty focused and like bedtimes, it's gotta
(01:08):
be a thing for me with my job, et cetera.
Weekends though there is no better feeling, no better feeling.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Let me paint this picture.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
Then your Christmas tree lit or whatever it is that
you have some sort of soft lighting, a candle going,
whatever television show that you feel comforted by, and you
get to fall asleep on the couch with no plan
the next day.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Or maybe you have some loose plans but you.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
Don't necessarily have to get up and set.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
An alarm for work or school or something like that. Right,
can we agree?
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Oh my god, I love it, But I was thinking
about it the other day of like, I have certain
shows based on what it is I'm doing. I think
I'm not alone when I say that I watch multiple
things at once, Right, I don't just like watch a
show and then finish it. I watch several shows depending
on mood, vibe, atty time of day, how much time
I have, You know, my lunch show. Every day, I
(02:04):
try to sit down and watch an episode of something
while I'm eating my lunch that is typically VEEP right now,
or I would say it's something that I'm familiar with,
something that I can only I can watch one episode
without without committing and then kind of like turn it
off and move on, move on from that, but falling
asleep to TV at night.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
The fact that you can fall asleep to dexter, I
don't know what that says about you, but you're not alone.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
My friend Aarin falls asleep every night to some sort
of true crime like twenty twenty.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
I think she's like a big twenty twenty girl. So
what is it for you?
Speaker 3 (02:40):
What's your go to comfort show while you're falling asleep?
I had mentioned like my lunch hour show was Veep.
I could also rewatch Shit's Creek about eight hundred times.
For me, I can't fall asleep to something that's either
super like high octane or new, because I want to
pay attention to the new stuff. The old stuff you
can kind of come and go. So what's your background show.
We'll get to you next. In the meantime, we're still
(03:02):
commercial free. I think we've moved on from the office,
But are you.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Still watching Jim Halpert? Hi, good morning.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
You're waking up with Tip in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one. You're walking into two things right now,
one commercial free music, and two we're in the midst
of talking about what your go to show is as
you get ready to fall asleep at night. I think
we're under agreement that you have different shows based on
(03:30):
what you're doing right.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Or are you super focused?
Speaker 3 (03:34):
If you are, If you are this person that can
watch a show and have it be the only thing
that you watch until it's done, I need to hear
from you. I would like to meet you. I've never
met a person like you. Five one three seven four
nine one oh seven one. Because I don't know if
it's the neurodivergon in me, but I'll get seventy five
(03:55):
percent of a way through a show and a bail
on that thing so hard.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
I don't know what it ish.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
I can't I don't know why my go to show
no matter if I'm bored, trying to sleep, cleaning, want
background noise, whatever the case is, always, always, always gonna
be New Girl.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
I've watched it.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
So many times that I can have my eyes.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Closed and I can just know exactly what's happening just
by listening. And it's funny every single time.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
I watch it. If you haven't watched it, highly highly
highly recommend.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
I actually haven't watched it, but it's been recommended to
me on Hulu a few times, and I started one
of the episode.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
No, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope.
It wasn't New Girl, it was broad City.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
You want to know why broad City super popular again,
It's because in the club we all sam.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
I recommend ted Lasso. I know they have a new
season coming up, but I just started watching it from
the beginning and ed last is gonna say humanity.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
I loved season one at ted Lasso. I didn't love
the last season at ted Lasso.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
One.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
Wondering if you're talking about the reboots that they're going
to not necessarily reboots the spinoffs, right, hasn't that been
the rumor that they're going to do ted Lasso spinoffs
without ted Lasso.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
And them this I don't.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
I didn't intend this to go towards like television shows
that you should watch. We're in the midst of talking
about the ones that you fall asleep to at night.
I had mentioned Veep is one for me right now,
Shit's Creek is always one that's on deck for me.
But those shows are different than the ones that you
have to lock in and pay attention to. For instance,
(05:36):
Tell Me Lies is one that I'm in the middle
of and I'm having a hard time getting through it
because I hate every single character in there. But I'm
committed now and i'd like to finish. I had mentioned
I love talking about TV here because I feel like
it's just become such a part of pop culture and
just the way we connect. My parents used to yell
at me for watching the Disney Channel growing up because
(05:58):
I was glued to that thing, But now it's kind
of all we talk about, right, is what you're watching
on TV? A great topic for Thanksgiving? By the way,
if you're gonna run out of something, a new season
of Silo dropt.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
I'm a big Apple TV fan, big. I say it
all the time.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
They don't put out a lot, but what they do
put out is always high quality. And I'm gonna wait
for a couple episodes to bank on that one before
I jump in. But if there's something you want to share,
I mention it all the time. Talk back with sef.
I'd love to hear from you, all right, Speaking of Thanksgiving,
what are the rudest things that you can do at
the dinner table a week from tomorrow? And it has
(06:37):
nothing to do with politics. One of these things on
this list I do every single day,
