Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tip on Ki Hi, good morning, Good morning,
or just before seven o'clock on this Monday of Thanksgiving.
Let's take a detour towards the weather really quickly, just
because I think it is always a big deal, especially
with traveling and such. So today fairly mild in the sixties.
We'll start to usher in some like clouds and rain

(00:22):
over the next couple of days, dropping in temperatures until
we get to around Wednesday, where there'll be highs in
the forties depending on where you're going. If you're going
north toward Chicago, it will mix in with some rain
and snow. Sincey we'll see more rain showers with temperatures
in the forties for Thursday morning and for those racing
Thanksgiving Day or you know you've got football games and such.

(00:45):
Not warm, not freezing, but definitely a chance of some
precipitation regardless of where you're going. All right, let's talk
about travel, since it is one of the busiest holidays
of the year for traveling around. It used to always
be Wednesday that was super busy. That is kind of
now shifted to Tuesday. So what does that mean for
us as far as commutes go with the bridge, Brent

(01:08):
Spence typically sees higher volume because of this holiday. Without
four seventy one being closed, I can't imagine what it's
going to be like over the next couple of days.
Just bring some patience with you. Pack that in the backseat.
Maybe you know what, pack that in the front seat.
You're gonna need it. So I have a timeline now
for the first time on four to seventy one. The
demolition will begin the day after Thanksgiving on this Friday,

(01:30):
and that will last until the end of December before
they can even begin to rebuild and repair the bridge,
which means we're gonna be in this scenario for quite
a bit of time. The good news is, though, as
we head into December, you've got school vacations starting to
kick in and people traveling lest and spending a little

(01:51):
bit more time in their homes. So with that, hopefully
things start to slow down in life, making the bridge
less miser I don't know, I'm doing my best here.
When there's more on that one, I'll have it for you.
The second and three things you need to know. Let's
talk about Ariana Grande and Wicked First, of all the stats.
One hundred and fourteen million is debut weekend here in

(02:13):
the US, breaking some records, including the best the movie
that was based off a novel in the theater. That's
what took in the one hundred and fourteen and broke
the record one hundred and sixty four point two million globally.
Who second place movie fifty five million doesn't come anywhere close,
but that was Gladiator. I haven't seen it, but the

(02:34):
one piece of advice I have heard from those that
have seen it is you have to go and see
it in the theater because of the fight scenes, et cetera.
I also love the theater, so I'm going to add
that to my list. It's going to be a big
weekend for movies this time around as well, because Moana
comes out on Thanksgiving. With that being said, Ariana Grande
celebrating big time because she's the first artist to have

(02:56):
a number one song, a number one album, and a
number one movie within one year. And I'm talking about
the album Eternal Sunshine and this is the song. It's
called Yes and can Seasons. I can your pa sentence

(03:18):
taking such a good one, ram I was gonna say
one more thing yeah. You remember she announced that album
in March of this year and we were like, WHOA,
Like maybe a tour, absolutely not. The girl was getting
ready to go on that wicked press run, which was
probably the biggest press run of anything I've ever seen
in my life. So it congrats to her. And then, lastly,

(03:39):
in three things you need to know this morning, we're
gonna take a detour over to Las Vegas. First of all,
Adele played her final Las Vegas residency and here's why
it's a big deal. It's been amazing and so patient.
We've been so incredible to live patient to my son.
I chance to do a residency, maybe because I'm touring,

(04:02):
but I chose to do a residency so I could
keep me his life normal and she won't be touring
for a while. She said this weeks ago, maybe months.
At this point, I think she wants to start a
family with Rich Paul. And then, lastly, as far as
Vegas goes, the F one Grand Prix was this weekend.
The celebs were everywhere. Just to name a few, Luda,

(04:22):
Chris Gordon, Ramsey, Winnie Harlowe, Paris Hill, and Martin Garricks, who,
by the way, writes and produces all of Ariana Grande's music.
And then it congratulations to Max Forstappen world champion, fourth
year in a row. All right, that is three things
you need to know. For the twenty fifth of November,
we're gonna talk about tiffmus You'll never believe what I

(04:42):
did on Christmas Eve last year. We'll get to that
next
